Bhisham Sahni | Maata Vimaata | StoryJam Episode 59 | Hindi Urdu Audio Stories
No one can say if ‘Maata Vimaata’, a short story by Bhisham Sahni was inspired by the Biblical, ‘The Judgement of Solomon’, but it has much the same pain and the very same question. What defines a mother? In this case, is it the woman who gives birth or the one who raises the child?
Thinking of the creator of unforgettable literature- Tamas, Hanoosh, Kabira Khada Bazar Mein, Bhagya Rekha, Wang Chu….Bhisham Sahni on his birthday (8th August). May he be reborn to tell the remaining stories...I am sure he had many more in him!
