Fairmount Elementary is getting a major upgrade — but for now, students are temporarily relocated to Messiah Lutheran Church, where they’ll learn in a repurposed space while renovations transform the century-old school into a modern, safer campus. The district’s $350K investment covers parking lot fixes and other essentials, with bond funds also boosting 20 other schools nationwide.
