- 0:00Speaker 1: Thinks that must go on the.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Radio, things that must go, things that you want out
- 0:11Speaker 2: of your life. You think you this happens to you,
- 0:13Speaker 2: you see it, or you observe something, and that really
- 0:18Speaker 2: must go. I don't know what I'm gonna do. Oh,
- 0:20Speaker 2: I know, I'll send it to Radio from Hell and
- 0:23Speaker 2: put it in an email. Send it to Radio from
- 0:25Speaker 2: Hell at X ninety six dot com. I'll put must
- 0:27Speaker 2: go in the subject line, and if they read mine
- 0:30Speaker 2: on the air, maybe it'll might make me feel better
- 0:33Speaker 2: about all of this. And sometimes we understand these things
- 0:35Speaker 2: magically disappear from the person's life. Kerry, do you want
- 0:39Speaker 2: to go first?
- 0:40Speaker 3: I can, Okay. The first one is from my wife
- 0:43Speaker 3: at the foot of Mount Doom. I'm really hating the
- 0:46Speaker 3: over misuse of myself instead of me. You can only
- 0:53Speaker 3: use the word myself if you've used the word I
- 0:55Speaker 3: in your sentence. For example, I pricked myself with a
- 0:59Speaker 3: pin mm hmm, I saw it myself. Do not use
- 1:03Speaker 3: myself because you think it sounds more formal or polite.
- 1:06Speaker 3: For example, please contact myself if you have any questions.
- 1:10Speaker 4: Yeah, that sounds weird.
- 1:12Speaker 3: It does sound weird, so do better. All right, let's
- 1:16Speaker 3: see this one from Elizabeth. I'm writing from a doctor's
- 1:19Speaker 3: waiting room. I have three things that must go. It's
- 1:24Speaker 3: really one, okay, three things that must go. The person
- 1:28Speaker 3: on my right who is loudly listening to a video
- 1:31Speaker 3: on their phone. Number two, the person on my left
- 1:34Speaker 3: who is also listening to a video on their phone.
- 1:37Speaker 4: At least it's slightly quieter.
- 1:39Speaker 3: And three, anyone who does not use headphones while listening
- 1:42Speaker 3: to something on their phone in a public place. I
- 1:45Speaker 3: am stuck here with you people. At least be considerate
- 1:47Speaker 3: of others. Use your headphones. This one from our good
- 1:51Speaker 3: friend of the program, Alison's Able. I hope things are
- 1:53Speaker 3: going well. Here's the thing that must go. A different
- 1:56Speaker 3: radio station, not you guys, using rock You Make a
- 2:00Speaker 3: Hurricane by the Scorpions as the intro music to updating
- 2:03Speaker 3: the public on the most devastating natural disaster that is
- 2:06Speaker 3: Hurricane Melissa.
- 2:08Speaker 4: Yeah, it's horrible. I wish that. I wish we'd have
- 2:15Speaker 4: called them right out.
- 2:16Speaker 3: And this one does not say I can use the name,
- 2:19Speaker 3: but I will. I have a very small car. Why
- 2:22Speaker 3: do parking spaces keep getting narrower when our vehicles keep
- 2:26Speaker 3: growing larger. I'm holding out hope that you will perform
- 2:29Speaker 3: your lord magic and stop these incessant dings on my
- 2:32Speaker 3: little car.
- 2:33Speaker 4: All right, got it? Yeah, I'll go next.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Let's see this one says, good morning lords, Please feel
- 2:40Speaker 2: free to use my name.
- 2:41Speaker 4: Okay, Tyler.
- 2:43Speaker 2: My thing that must go is the gross overused of
- 2:47Speaker 2: plastic garbage bags.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Oh yeah, or grocery bags rather.
- 2:51Speaker 2: My wife and I had our first baby three weeks
- 2:54Speaker 2: ago and have transformed to a mostly exclusive pickup option
- 2:59Speaker 2: for groceries. And yesterday I arrived home after picking up
- 3:04Speaker 2: a relatively small order and was shocked to see that
- 3:07Speaker 2: almost every single item was in its own.
- 3:11Speaker 4: Plastic plastic bag.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Wow, a jar of mayonnaise, plastic bag, ketchup in a
- 3:17Speaker 2: plastic bath, It's a plastic bat, toothpaste, so.
- 3:19Speaker 4: On and on.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Every single one of them was in a plastic bag.
- 3:25Speaker 2: The particular store doesn't give you the option if you
- 3:29Speaker 2: want to use your own bags, You're just stuck using
- 3:32Speaker 2: their plastic bags. This is horrible for the environment, and
- 3:35Speaker 2: please make this go away, Tyler. Let's see this one
- 3:39Speaker 2: says longtime listener, first time writer. My thing that must
- 3:43Speaker 2: go is Bill and Gina's loogie talk. They spent far
- 3:48Speaker 2: too long discussing the one thing that makes me gag
- 3:52Speaker 2: in my post pregnancy era, so much so that I
- 3:55Speaker 2: had to tune in elsewhere to avoid barfing and crashing
- 3:59Speaker 2: during my morning workout. Since I'm one station kind of gal,
- 4:04Speaker 2: my only recourse was the workout mix on my phone,
- 4:08Speaker 2: which I mean I arrived to work way too jazzed up.
- 4:12Speaker 2: So now my boss expects me to be this peppy, cheerful,
- 4:16Speaker 2: alert person every day, and I don't want to do that.
- 4:20Speaker 2: My grumpy expression and my persons please just a lugie
- 4:25Speaker 2: no that don't do it anymore.
- 4:27Speaker 4: And I'm sure that I'll get mocked on the air.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Excuse me, excuse me? I see what's her name? Sad
- 4:37Speaker 2: and says a secondary thing that must go. As Senator
- 4:39Speaker 2: Kurk Colomar trying to monkey his flying monkey legal team,
- 4:45Speaker 2: the scumbag tactics make it impossible for the average person
- 4:48Speaker 2: to get legal counsel, even if you can scrape together
- 4:50Speaker 2: money for a lawyer. If you know anybody who's ever
- 4:52Speaker 2: had even a minor payment dispute with their landlord, be
- 4:57Speaker 2: sure to ask them how they're waged garnishments are going.
- 5:01Speaker 4: Please don't use my name on this one. Well I
- 5:03Speaker 4: already did. I'm sorry.
- 5:04Speaker 2: And finally, this one what must go is is Bill
- 5:09Speaker 2: mocking mimicking the sound of hawking.
- 5:12Speaker 4: A loogie on the radio.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Yes, I agree, Thanks you guys, Love you Cameron.
- 5:18Speaker 1: My thing that must go is this weekend, I thought
- 5:21Speaker 1: I would make brownies for Jonesy, my daughter, to take
- 5:25Speaker 1: home to her and her roommates. What and I used
- 5:29Speaker 1: Sister Dottie's recipe. Yeah, and I had questions about the recipe.
- 5:36Speaker 1: And I can't ask Sister Dottie because she's not here anymore.
- 5:40Speaker 1: And I'm pretty sure I screwed it up because they didn't. Now, great,
- 5:45Speaker 1: Sister Dotty being gone is my thing that must Good
- 5:51Speaker 1: morning lords. Feel free to use my name. It's Kimberly.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Here's my list podcasters that use the words forward instead
- 5:58Speaker 1: of forward. There is an R in there, also especially
- 6:03Speaker 1: instead of especially. There is no X in that also
- 6:07Speaker 1: getting cancer again. I know people care, but the countless
- 6:10Speaker 1: comments and suggestions must go. Here are just a few.
- 6:13Speaker 1: The idea that cancer is just like a cold and
- 6:16Speaker 1: if I treat it correctly, chemo isn't the way to
- 6:18Speaker 1: do it.
- 6:19Speaker 4: It came back because I got.
- 6:21Speaker 1: The COVID vaccine. I shouldn't have let the doctor biop
- 6:24Speaker 1: see the tumors because that's what made it spread.
- 6:26Speaker 4: And become terminal.
- 6:28Speaker 1: I could move to a border town in Mexico and
- 6:30Speaker 1: spend ten thousand dollars a month on treatments that they
- 6:33Speaker 1: won't offer me here. They won't offer it because they
- 6:35Speaker 1: want to keep us sick. I appreciate the suggestions, but
- 6:39Speaker 1: sometimes those things don't help my already hurting brain. Thank
- 6:42Speaker 1: you for being a bright spot in my day. You
- 6:44Speaker 1: don't realize it, but you've helped me through it all.
- 6:47Speaker 1: We love you, Kimberly in Idaho. Finally this because we're
- 6:51Speaker 1: running out of time. Dear lords, it's been a long week.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Must go caring for my mom with Alzheimer's who recently
- 6:59Speaker 1: went into sudden decline. Also watching my mom fade away
- 7:03Speaker 1: right in front of my eyes, and my own health
- 7:06Speaker 1: suffering above because of the above situation. Caregiver exhaustion is
- 7:10Speaker 1: a real thing. Take care of yourself. Check engine lights
- 7:14Speaker 1: must go. Leaky tubs again, really glad? I have Larsen
- 7:17Speaker 1: Plumbing on speed dial. Having different religious beliefs from my
- 7:21Speaker 1: parents and needing to go along with their worldview to
- 7:23Speaker 1: keep the peace, make it go away, to balance out
- 7:26Speaker 1: the universe. Here are some things that should not go.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Friends and coworkers who let me vent my sweet nine
- 7:32Speaker 1: year old lady Labrador watching her ride in the car
- 7:35Speaker 1: with her nose out the window gives me all the
- 7:37Speaker 1: happy feels during this challenging situation. Your radio show, longtime
- 7:42Speaker 1: fop Gene, I think you and I could be best friends.
- 7:44Speaker 1: We both have kids at the U and I and
- 7:46Speaker 1: am another woman of a certain age.
- 7:48Speaker 4: Thank you, lords.
- 7:48Speaker 1: I appreciate you all. I'll be commuting around the time
- 7:51Speaker 1: you read things that must go and probably crying because
- 7:53Speaker 1: I'm grateful for you, and no, I'm not alone in
- 7:56Speaker 1: this wishing you all the good vibes with you and
- 7:58Speaker 1: your loved ones with love. I won't say your name,
- 8:01Speaker 1: she asked me not to, but we love.
- 8:02Speaker 4: You and you know who you are.
- 8:04Speaker 3: And Alison Sabo said that it was a cable ninety three, Alison,
- 8:09Speaker 3: why are you listening to that?
- 8:12Speaker 4: Well, she needs a little country in her life every
- 8:14Speaker 4: now and then. How tasteless is that? Though it's yea horrible.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Things that must go on.
- 8:23Speaker 3: The radio
