The Wedding at Cana might seem like an odd scripture passage for this week but really it shows us more of the humanity of Jesus then we might think. As Jesus lived out His earthly ministry He looked like every other Jewish male at the time. The incarnation of God went to a wedding reception, drank wine, danced with friends but also transformed the party from the inside out. Jesus listened to His mother and changed jars of water into jars of wine. Jesus came to be like one of us to change us from the inside out.
