- 0:00Welcome to The Hypnotist, the show that gives you inside
- 0:03access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing genuine
- 0:07issues. Brought to you by the
- 0:10hypnotherapist, demanded by celebrities, CEOs and even
- 0:14royalty. Adam Cox.
- 0:16These recordings took place live from Adam's clinic in London's
- 0:19world famous Harley Street. This podcast features powerful
- 0:23hypnosis, so do not listen while driving or operating machinery.
- 0:27This recording is not suitable for those with epilepsy or
- 0:30severe mental health issues, so get yourself comfortable and
- 0:34enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:41Hi, it's Adam here. And in this hypnosis session,
- 0:44you're going to be listening to a manifestation and
- 0:50strengthening of a belief system for a talented writer that was
- 0:56feeling unresourceful because of circumstances happening in their
- 1:01life. And that can happen to anyone.
- 1:03You can be very talented at something, but if chaos is
- 1:07happening in your life, that can actually shut down your talents
- 1:11and and you prioritize other things.
- 1:14A lot of time people get into a certain state where they get
- 1:17into this flow state or they're able to express themselves
- 1:21creatively. But if they're not in that
- 1:23state, if that, if they're not in that version of them, it
- 1:27becomes very hard to get into the kind of mindset where you
- 1:32can actually do what you need to do.
- 1:35And that was certainly the case with this particular client.
- 1:38Because of lots of variables outside of their control, they
- 1:44couldn't get into that state where they could feel creative
- 1:48and expressive and connect to this idea that they could be
- 1:53very successful as a writer. So what this hypnosis session
- 1:57does is it takes them forwards in time and then works backwards
- 2:00so they can piece together the clues as to how they were able
- 2:03to manifest all of that success. And for them, they didn't want
- 2:08to be the starving artist. They didn't want to be the
- 2:12talented writer that nobody knows about.
- 2:16They wanted to be creatively successful, but also financially
- 2:22successful as a writer. They wanted that that book that
- 2:27they write gets turned into a movie or a screenplay or some
- 2:33kind of Broadway or West End show.
- 2:36That's what they wanted because they wanted their work to impact
- 2:40people and for them to be recognized in terms of not just
- 2:45industry recognition, but financial recognition for that.
- 2:49And I asked them the question, like, you know, if you were
- 2:51financially successful in, you know, your career as a writer,
- 2:56what would that look like? And they said it would be them
- 2:58living in this big house, you know, by the ocean.
- 3:02And it'd be a very modern architecturally designed place
- 3:07with lots of glass. And that they said, yeah, they
- 3:10would have lots of awards or accomplishments or things that
- 3:15would give them a clue as to peer level success, but also
- 3:20financial success. So we use future pacing to get
- 3:23them to experience what their future would be like.
- 3:26And then to start linking it to certain resources like joy,
- 3:31creativity, flow states, inspiration.
- 3:34And also this idea that rather than not being able to write
- 3:40because they feel anxious and kind of restless, but inversing
- 3:45that so that by writing anxiety and restlessness go down, we're,
- 3:50we're turning the block into the solution.
- 3:55And that works in lots of different areas for, for people.
- 3:59If if people don't have the motivation to go to the gym,
- 4:02then you want to inverse that and say the more you go to the
- 4:05gym, the more motivated you become.
- 4:07And, and obviously you need something to break out of that
- 4:10catch 22. But once you break out of that
- 4:12catch 22, then you can create self fulfilling prophecies
- 4:15within that. Obviously for this client it
- 4:17wasn't about going to the gym, it was about writing so you can
- 4:21hear suggestions about accessing the flow state.
- 4:24And just. Giving themselves the ability to
- 4:27just write to begin with, access the flow state, and then improve
- 4:31on what they're doing. And lots of writers with
- 4:34writer's block know that that actually it's not about writing
- 4:38a book, it's about rewriting a a book.
- 4:40And therefore if you just get any ideas on the page, then you
- 4:45can refine and improve that. Whereas a lot of people are
- 4:48trapped by perfectionism, feeling like whatever they put
- 4:53down from their imagination onto paper has to be perfect at the
- 4:57very first attempt. And that's quite challenging for
- 4:59for people to do. So this hypnosis session has
- 5:02various suggestions that link into their idea and they wanted
- 5:07and and it's the key thing because sometimes if you make
- 5:10the financial success the motive rather than the byproduct, that
- 5:14can lead to elements of self sabotage because then people are
- 5:17looking for shortcuts to maximize revenue and income.
- 5:21Whereas if people are extremely talented at a particular thing,
- 5:25then quite often financial success is a byproduct of that
- 5:28talent connecting with lots of different people.
- 5:32So I think anyone creative that wants to kind of tap into this
- 5:38resourceful, productive state will benefit from this.
- 5:41Whether you're creative from a sense of writing or music,
- 5:47perhaps it might be something else, might be ideas or
- 5:50intellectual property of a different kind, I think you'll
- 5:52benefit from this. Even the stuff I do, I consider
- 5:56it creative in many ways because I'm creating something that
- 5:59didn't exist and then I'm I'm publishing it.
- 6:02So whatever kind of background that you're in, I want you to
- 6:05try and identify the link of what you can create and share
- 6:09before listening to this. Because it's highly likely that
- 6:12there is something creative you can do and share.
- 6:15Whereas it's unlikely that you are an aspiring writer with an
- 6:20idea for this kind of fictional universe that you can kind of
- 6:23share with the world. So I'd encourage you to think
- 6:25about that as you're listening to this.
- 6:28By the way, you can either pause it now, look in the description,
- 6:30or do it after the session. But there's lots of free
- 6:32resources in the show notes in the description.
- 6:35You can download a free guide, free courses, free downloads,
- 6:41and there's also the ability to schedule a free consultation
- 6:43call to explore working with me. You can find that in the
- 6:45description. For now though, we've got this
- 6:48session to listen to. So find a really comfortable
- 6:50place, maybe a couch, maybe a bed, maybe a nice cozy chair,
- 6:54ideally in the kind of place where you're not expecting any
- 6:57distractions or interruptions or disturbances.
- 7:00Find that place, listen to this ideally on headphones and just
- 7:04relax and enjoy the session. Take a deep breath in, and as
- 7:40you breathe in, breathe in that resourceful feeling of calm and
- 7:45relaxation. And as you exhale, just allow
- 7:54any feelings of worry, stress, or tension to feel like it's
- 8:00leaving your body in your outward breath, breathing in
- 8:07that calm and relaxation and exhaling tension.
- 8:16Each breath takes you deeper and deeper, relaxed.
- 8:23That's it. And the deeper you breathe, the
- 8:29more relaxed you become. And the more relaxed you become,
- 8:35the deeper you breathe, each breath takes you deeper and
- 8:43deeper, relaxed. That's it.
- 8:48A wonderful feeling of calm and relaxation.
- 8:57And I wonder if your imagination can suspend reality and enable
- 9:06you to drift forwards in time to a future already in the making.
- 9:20I wonder if you could imagine floating up outside of your
- 9:25body, drifting through space and time, the sea of future, perhaps
- 9:375 or 10 years from now. I don't want you to imagine
- 9:42floating to a building by the coast.
- 9:50Maybe a modern building with a certain architectural design,
- 9:58lots of glass. And I wonder if you could float
- 10:04there by the window and see yourself inside writing.
- 10:13And I want you to see the expression of peace on the face
- 10:18of that version of you. I just imagine floating into the
- 10:25future version of you, feeling how good it would feel to
- 10:32continue doing what you love even though you've already
- 10:39accomplished and achieved so much.
- 10:45I want you to imagine floating into that body, feeling how you
- 10:48would feel if you were living your dream, if you were aligned
- 10:55with your purpose, if you were connected to that flow state
- 11:02where just incredible ideas start to pop into your head and
- 11:10you turn them into a universe on the page.
- 11:15And maybe you can imagine holding a pen or a pencil, just
- 11:23writing, making diagrams, thinking of the story that you
- 11:33are creating. And I want you to connect with
- 11:38that wonderful feeling and just allow that part of you to
- 11:44continue writing as you allow your unconscious to keep on
- 11:51wandering around that house and you can see that version of you
- 11:59continuing to write. But I want you to explore this
- 12:04mansion by the coast, your own private beach that you can see
- 12:09from through the glass windows. And maybe there's an impressive
- 12:15staircase that goes from the upper floors down.
- 12:20But as I countdown from 12:50, I want you to imagine walking down
- 12:24that staircase. Each descending number takes you
- 12:28deeper into a place where wonderful changes can take
- 12:32place. But I want you to imagine
- 12:38walking down the staircase is leading to a large reception
- 12:44area, perhaps with clues as to what led to this future.
- 12:52But let's walk down the staircase. 10 Deeper, relaxed. 9
- 13:00More and more comfortable. 8 Drifting deeper and deeper.
- 13:07Seven, more comfortable now. 5 Just allow your jaw, your
- 13:14eyelids to just relax and loosen. 4, Your arms and legs
- 13:21just feel limp and loose and relaxed, almost like you're
- 13:26floating down the staircase. Now.
- 13:30Three more comfortable. 2 just feeling a real sense of release.
- 13:40I want you to feel aligned, empowered, creatively inspired
- 13:46as you continue to walk down that staircase. 2 and then one,
- 13:50and then zero. Just feel deeper.
- 13:57Feel that there is a part within you awakened, enthused, excited,
- 14:07and just imagine wandering around this impressive house and
- 14:13maybe there's certain things that would be desirable for you.
- 14:18Maybe those things would be an impressive garden, maybe a pool.
- 14:26Maybe there will be certain things like a a room to
- 14:30entertain. But I want you to look at the
- 14:34area that shows you some of the clues of your successes.
- 14:43Perhaps imagine a wall and you could see it like a timeline and
- 14:48go back to the early things. A book deal, A-frame of best
- 14:57sellers, maybe awards, acknowledgements.
- 15:05Maybe the book got turned into a movie, maybe there's framed
- 15:10contracts or agreements or licensing deals, and maybe as
- 15:17time goes on, these evolve into more prestigious acknowledgments
- 15:22and awards. Not because that's the drive,
- 15:25but that becomes a side effect of doing something that people
- 15:29connect with. And I want you to feel a
- 15:33wonderful sense of pride that you were the 1 that created
- 15:39this. And maybe there's designs of
- 15:44some of the characters. Maybe they got turned into
- 15:51things that evolved, that became licensed in different areas.
- 15:57Maybe a stage show, maybe a movie, maybe even a theme park
- 16:03ride. Just allow your imagination to
- 16:06have no limitations. And as you continue to find
- 16:13yourself looking at these accomplishments and clues, I
- 16:19want you to get a sense that every time you write, you feel a
- 16:24powerful certainty in your capabilities, as if the words
- 16:30are flowing through you with ease and competence.
- 16:35That your passion for writing ignites like a steady flame,
- 16:41growing brighter with every idea you put on the page.
- 16:46And the more you align with your creative vision, the more peace
- 16:51you feel deep within your mind and body.
- 16:59And I want you to get a sense that the financial success is
- 17:01not the motive, but the byproduct.
- 17:05All of this financial success arrives naturally because of
- 17:10your creativity and passion. Never the motive, always the
- 17:15reward. And when you focus on your
- 17:19craft, I want you to feel that you have a portal to enter, a
- 17:25zone of optimal creativity, the kind of zone where time
- 17:31disappears. Inspiration feels endless,
- 17:39almost like your mind becomes a laser beam focused intently on
- 17:45the next sentence, the next paragraph, the next chapter, or
- 17:49even the next idea. As you wander around this
- 17:57impressive house, I want you to remind yourself that it all
- 18:02comes down to your writing. With each word, your pride and
- 18:08sense of accomplishment grow, knowing that you are fulfilling
- 18:13your purpose. And the more progress you make,
- 18:18the more joy, peace, and creative flow from that
- 18:22experience. And those times that you may
- 18:27feel restless, I want you to frame that meaning as a signal
- 18:34to return to your vision, your dream, and your purpose.
- 18:40The peace is the Canary in the coal mine.
- 18:43Peace means you're on the right track.
- 18:47Restlessness means you need to return to that track.
- 18:51And the moment you reconnect your writing, that restlessness
- 18:56melts into calm focus and creative energy.
- 19:02And every project you complete feels like an investment in your
- 19:07freedom, but also your privacy and Peace of Mind as more and
- 19:14more you trust that your ideas are valuable, that your voice
- 19:19matters, and that your writing changes lives.
- 19:26And maybe that's through escapism or humor or something
- 19:30else more meaningful. But the more you write, the more
- 19:36your creative energy expands, unlocking deeper layers of
- 19:41passion and expression. And I want you to find somewhere
- 19:46within your body that unshakable belief in your ability to
- 19:52produce work that excites and inspires others.
- 19:59Maybe it's in your heart, your gut, or somewhere in your head,
- 20:03but look for that feeling that will be the spring of
- 20:08creativity. And when that spring really
- 20:14becomes effortless into that flow state, don't be surprised
- 20:21if you approach each writing session with more and more
- 20:24enthusiasm. Curiosity and an eagerness to
- 20:28discover what flows next. Deep down at your core, you
- 20:34believe that writing is a gateway to a life of abundance,
- 20:39and with that abundance comes peace, creativity, and the
- 20:44byproduct of financial reward. This impressive house that
- 20:51you're living in is because what you do mattered it connected
- 20:58with people and that gives you an unbreakable commitment to
- 21:02your craft. Knowing that each word brings
- 21:06you closer to your vision. So allow yourself to let go of
- 21:11distractions more and more easily, and allow yourself to
- 21:16sink deeper into the flow state where inspiration is infinite.
- 21:23And you can always think back to times when you know that your
- 21:27creativity and discipline can work together effortlessly,
- 21:32turning passion into powerful results.
- 21:39And every time you complete a piece of writing, you will feel
- 21:45an amplified sense of peace, freedom and fulfilment.
- 21:58That's in connect with that. Look for the clues, clues that
- 22:04may even shape the next idea. And then climb back up that
- 22:09staircase, see that version of you peacefully and happily and
- 22:15contently writing. And then step into that version
- 22:19of you and take those future resources that you will have in
- 22:24the future and activate them now in the present, feeling a
- 22:28wonderful connection between the future and the peasant, and the
- 22:33pleasant, wonderful feeling of connecting with who you are at
- 22:38your core. That's it.
- 22:43It's time to leave these places. But take with you a wonderful
- 22:46feeling of inspiration and excitement that that flame
- 22:53within you is awakened. Take a deep breath in through
- 22:59your nose and out through your nose.
- 23:04Just wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes.
- 23:07Connect and calibrate into the here and the now as I now count
- 23:12from 1:00 to 10:00 to awaken you.
- 23:15Starting to count 123 waking up 456 more alert. 7-8.
- 23:23Open your eyes. Open your eyes 910 Wide awake,
- 23:27Wide awake. Wide awake.
