- 0:08Speaker 1: to know. She talks Hollywood tales, her real life Mr. Segment,
- 0:12Speaker 1: Serial Data, and Serial Sisters. You'll be addicted and addicted
- 0:17Speaker 1: fast to the number one tabloid real life podcast.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Listen in, listen up.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Woo, woo. Hannah McDonald.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Juicy Scoop.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. I am very excited
- 0:31Speaker 1: for a first time Juicy Scooper, but I was a
- 0:34Speaker 1: guest on her show and we just hit it off.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Lori Alterman, hit podcast fan or fanatic. She is an
- 0:42Speaker 1: entertainment reporter. Very, very funny. Does a lot of comedic
- 0:47Speaker 1: takes on reality TV and whatnot, also does stuff for
- 0:51Speaker 1: Us Weekly. Welcome. Thank you. I'm so excited you're in
- 0:54Speaker 1: LA and you could make this fun show in person.
- 0:56Speaker 4: Heather, there's nowhere I'd rather be except for next to
- 0:59Speaker 4: Kyle Cook in a bed.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Okay, let's talk about it. Yeah, let's talk. Let's get
- 1:03Speaker 1: right into it. Get into it. I asked you, I said,
- 1:07Speaker 1: I just want to, we'll just do some hot takes,
- 1:09Speaker 1: some unpopular opinions, which you're not afraid to say. I
- 1:13Speaker 1: love it. In this world of pop culture and Bravo
- 1:16Speaker 1: related things. Obviously, Summer House, we've talked a lot about.
- 1:22Speaker 5: And you.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Think that Kyle Cook is extremely hot. You know, I
- 1:28Speaker 1: hung out with him.
- 1:29Speaker 4: Yes, I know at BravoCon where we missed each other,
- 1:32Speaker 4: but I also hung out with him, but not the
- 1:34Speaker 4: way you did.
- 1:35Speaker 1: You had a real moment.
- 1:37Speaker 4: You almost slept with him by watching his DJ set.
- 1:41Speaker 4: And unlike Meredith Marks, he actually knows how to DJ.
- 1:46Speaker 1: And he's talented. He's totally talented. We, after my, I
- 1:50Speaker 1: did a live show at the MGM and then we
- 1:53Speaker 1: went to the nightclub and And it had a whole
- 1:56Speaker 1: setup that they were, the casino and the people in
- 1:59Speaker 1: Vegas were my friend Andrew. It's called VIP, Heather. Andrew
- 2:02Speaker 1: leaned into it. Yes, this guy Andrew was wonderful to
- 2:05Speaker 1: help set up. So we go with my friends and,
- 2:10Speaker 1: you know, Brady, Julie, who were part of the show.
- 2:12Speaker 1: And he is the DJ. And I loved his DJ
- 2:16Speaker 1: set because... He does all the mixing, but it's also
- 2:20Speaker 1: all the songs you love. So it just flowed. And
- 2:23Speaker 1: then I got to say hi to him and he
- 2:25Speaker 1: was very lovely. And then later on, a couple weeks
- 2:29Speaker 1: later or a month later, out of the blue, he
- 2:31Speaker 1: DM'd me and he just said, I just want to
- 2:34Speaker 1: thank you for all the nice and supportive things you've
- 2:38Speaker 1: said about my DJing. And I'm like, you know, and
- 2:42Speaker 1: I've said, I'm like, I'm so glad he got so
- 2:44Speaker 1: much shit. And all these girls are like, ew, he's
- 2:47Speaker 1: becoming a DJ.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Thank God.
- 2:48Speaker 1: What a thirst trap. And I'm like, thank God he
- 2:51Speaker 1: did it. Good for him. He's good at it. He
- 2:54Speaker 1: likes it. It's a great thing to do. Now all
- 2:57Speaker 1: these other people realize, even Erika Jayne, I loved her
- 3:00Speaker 1: honesty when she's like, he's like, how do you like
- 3:03Speaker 1: being DJ pretty bad? She's like, I love it. I
- 3:05Speaker 1: play other people's songs. I just go like this, move
- 3:08Speaker 1: a couple fingers. I don't need a bunch of dancers.
- 3:11Speaker 1: I don't need 12 outfits. Exactly.
- 3:13Speaker 4: Can we take a minute for that spot-on imitation?
- 3:17Speaker 1: I wouldn't even say imitation. I think you just channeled
- 3:19Speaker 1: Queen Erica. That was fabulous.
- 3:21Speaker 2: We all like to think we've got a good eye
- 3:23Speaker 2: for a winning move. But when it comes to property,
- 3:26Speaker 2: it's about seeing the bigger picture. More space. A shorter commute.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Somewhere near the sea. On daft.ie, you can explore standout
- 3:35Speaker 2: homes for sale across South Dublin. From Ranelagh to Rathfarnham.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Stillorgan to Sandy Cove. When you're ready for the next chapter,
- 3:42Speaker 2: start with Ireland's number one property platform.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Daft.ie But I love that she's doing it, and she's right.
- 3:50Speaker 1: It's a good, fun thing to do. Why not? Unless
- 3:54Speaker 1: you're Meredith Marks, who I think sucks. And by the way,
- 3:58Speaker 1: ain't the mama deaf in one ear? I mean, that's
- 4:01Speaker 1: quite interesting of an occupation. I don't like Meredith Marks. Well,
- 4:05Speaker 1: I think, okay, well, that's okay that you don't like her.
- 4:07Speaker 1: But I'm saying, of course, a DJing thing can, I
- 4:11Speaker 1: would think, could easily be faked. It could. You put
- 4:15Speaker 1: the whole 90 set. But Kyle Cook doesn't fake it.
- 4:18Speaker 1: You put the whole 90 set together. You put in
- 4:20Speaker 1: the cassette tape. You push it in. Do they still
- 4:23Speaker 1: spin records, Heather? Is that what they like? I think
- 4:26Speaker 1: they have their thing set up. And what they do
- 4:30Speaker 1: in the moment is like, rise a beat here, lower
- 4:33Speaker 1: something here. Look at you, rise a beat. And that's
- 4:36Speaker 1: where you're really doing it. But also, prior to the gig, they...
- 4:40Speaker 1: just like a comedian or musician, is supposed to have
- 4:43Speaker 1: put their set together. So we're going to start on
- 4:46Speaker 1: this song. We're going to go to this one. But
- 4:47Speaker 1: I'm saying if you are just the face of something,
- 4:50Speaker 1: why couldn't you hire somebody that could do it, put
- 4:53Speaker 1: it all together for you, and then act like you're
- 4:56Speaker 1: doing this throughout the 90-minute set when it's really just,
- 5:00Speaker 1: but we don't know. Maybe she really did take the
- 5:02Speaker 1: DJing class. We don't know. So you're going to tell
- 5:06Speaker 1: me she's an expert in caviar. She's an expert in
- 5:09Speaker 1: bath bombs. She's an expert in LL Cool J. I
- 5:13Speaker 1: don't buy it.
- 5:13Speaker 4: Why am I not a fan of her? Because I
- 5:16Speaker 4: find her personality annoying. I don't think she takes, I
- 5:20Speaker 4: hate this word, it's ever used, accountability. I think she's
- 5:23Speaker 4: a whiner. I think she's boring. And if she's listening,
- 5:27Speaker 4: I stand by it.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Okay.
- 5:30Speaker 1: I don't like her. So you wouldn't care if she
- 5:33Speaker 1: didn't come back to Salt Lake? I actually got some
- 5:36Speaker 1: info that she wasn't, but I know they're filming now
- 5:39Speaker 1: and she's still there. Yeah, I've seen the photos. Where
- 5:42Speaker 1: are they? Well, they were in San Francisco doing some stuff.
- 5:45Speaker 5: Oh, okay.
- 5:46Speaker 1: But no, they are filming and she is part of
- 5:48Speaker 1: the cast. And you know what?
- 5:51Speaker 4: I don't get much opportunity to work with casting on
- 5:55Speaker 4: these shows.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:56Speaker 4: But I have a strong opinion on all of them.
- 5:59Speaker 4: And I think Meredith Marks brings nothing to the franchise.
- 6:02Speaker 1: I totally disagree. Go ahead. I think she's very fun
- 6:06Speaker 1: to watch. What? I just like her weird kind of
- 6:11Speaker 1: voice where she's like, you brutalized my family. Like, I
- 6:15Speaker 1: kind of like it. I think she's really pretty. She is.
- 6:18Speaker 1: I'm fascinated by her disease that makes her boobs grow enormous.
- 6:22Speaker 1: And she has to get a different boob job every year.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I think that's sad, but crazy. I think it's annoying
- 6:30Speaker 1: and weird. It's funny because I love vanilla ice cream,
- 6:34Speaker 1: and let's say you don't. You would have a strong case.
- 6:37Speaker 4: I'm saying the thing that you find fascinating about Meredith makes.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Me break out in hives. Who else do you love
- 6:45Speaker 1: on there? I mean, I'm pretty entertained by the whole cast.
- 6:50Speaker 1: I am definitely someone that I'm very careful about saying...
- 6:55Speaker 1: I don't want this person back or anything like that.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Because I do think it's a job and I think
- 7:00Speaker 1: they give so much of themselves and they are so replaceable.
- 7:05Speaker 1: So I never want to have a clip or something
- 7:07Speaker 1: where I'm like, get rid of so-and-so, you know? If
- 7:12Speaker 1: I'm still watching the show, then the producers are doing
- 7:15Speaker 1: something right. Even if you hate someone, it's better that
- 7:19Speaker 1: you hate someone than to be indifferent when we're talking
- 7:21Speaker 1: about a reality show. So if you're looking forward to
- 7:24Speaker 1: it and you're not falling asleep through it, then I
- 7:26Speaker 1: think they're doing their job. And some of these franchises
- 7:30Speaker 1: I really do fall asleep in. And that's not one
- 7:32Speaker 1: of them. I do not fall asleep in that one.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Salt Lake is one of my favorite franchises. I mean,
- 7:38Speaker 1: I think I've said it before. I think Bronwyn. Oh,
- 7:41Speaker 1: I love her. Oh, I love her. I think Bronwyn
- 7:44Speaker 1: should be the poster child of a girl who married
- 7:50Speaker 1: for money, was stuck with an asshole. And found her
- 7:54Speaker 1: way out through the help of Andy Cohen reaching his
- 7:59Speaker 1: hand out and lifting her up. And now she's single
- 8:02Speaker 1: and screwing a 32-year-old model. Oh, he's hot. And going
- 8:05Speaker 1: to the Met Ball. She still has her money. She's famous.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Her skin looks better. It does.
- 8:11Speaker 4: It's funny how the more famous you get, the better
- 8:13Speaker 4: the skin. I'm hoping for those days. Bronwyn is my
- 8:16Speaker 4: favorite housewife.
- 8:17Speaker 1: You just hit something that is so emotional for me.
- 8:20Speaker 1: I don't have any problem with her marrying the awful Todd,
- 8:24Speaker 1: also known as the character. By the way, I think
- 8:26Speaker 1: she loved him. I do. I mean, I see the
- 8:28Speaker 1: mean man from the... The cherry pick. No, from the
- 8:32Speaker 1: Up movie. Remember Up? That's so Todd. It's so Todd.
- 8:39Speaker 1: And it was one thing... You know, maybe you'd feel
- 8:42Speaker 1: bad for him if he was kind of an ugly
- 8:45Speaker 1: guy that married a young girl and helped raise her
- 8:47Speaker 1: daughter and then she left him or whatever. That wasn't
- 8:51Speaker 1: the case. He was mean. She knew he was mean.
- 8:55Speaker 1: She took the show to show the world, I'm married
- 8:58Speaker 1: to a mean husband that eats the cherry.
- 9:00Speaker 4: Do you think this was intentional, calculated, even more reason
- 9:05Speaker 4: I love Ron with Newport?
- 9:06Speaker 1: They always say, this is what I always think. When
- 9:10Speaker 1: an inevitable divorce happens because they put themselves on a
- 9:14Speaker 1: reality show, the woman that agrees to the reality show
- 9:17Speaker 1: that's in the shitty marriage, she has two trains of thought. Okay.
- 9:23Speaker 1: And they're both. One, I want him to see how
- 9:27Speaker 1: mean he is. I want him to watch it back
- 9:29Speaker 1: and see how mean he is. And then he'll get
- 9:32Speaker 1: nicer and we can stay married. I think that's their
- 9:34Speaker 1: first thought.
- 9:35Speaker 5: Wow.
- 9:35Speaker 1: And I'll be able to be famous and have a
- 9:38Speaker 1: career of my own. But he'll see to be nicer
- 9:40Speaker 1: to me. He'll appreciate me because I'm making money. He'll
- 9:43Speaker 1: see that everyone else loves me. He should love me too.
- 9:46Speaker 1: That's what they hope happens. Fascinating. What does happen is this.
- 9:51Speaker 1: He's mean on camera. They edit it. This former CEO
- 9:57Speaker 1: guy that, you know, has been walking around as a
- 10:02Speaker 1: straight white male everything handed to him never has been
- 10:04Speaker 1: afraid doesn't give a shit what people think he opens
- 10:07Speaker 1: his phone and realizes he has no chin he never
- 10:11Speaker 1: knew he had no chin That's impossible, Heather McDonald. How
- 10:16Speaker 1: do you not know you don't have a chin? They
- 10:18Speaker 1: don't know until they get on this show with their
- 10:20Speaker 1: thirsty wife.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Okay.
- 10:22Speaker 1: They read all the comments. Ah. Now they become meaner
- 10:25Speaker 1: to her. I guess you read my comment. Then they
- 10:28Speaker 1: become meaner to their wife because they're even more resentful
- 10:32Speaker 1: that she did this. And she's reading all the comments.
- 10:36Speaker 1: He's so mean.
- 10:37Speaker 4: And they're not saying anything about her looks other than
- 10:39Speaker 4: they're perfect.
- 10:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 10:40Speaker 1: And you're so great. What are you doing? And then
- 10:44Speaker 1: they break up. But their initial thought is to be
- 10:48Speaker 1: successful and stay married. I think maybe one or two
- 10:52Speaker 1: go on going, oh, I'm going to get divorced in
- 10:54Speaker 1: year two. But I think their initial thought is, Or, yeah,
- 10:59Speaker 1: that he'll get better, he'll get nicer, because that's why
- 11:01Speaker 1: they've stayed that long. But really what it does is
- 11:04Speaker 1: crack it open, and that's why there's so many divorces. Heather,
- 11:07Speaker 1: I have a question for you. Yes.
- 11:08Speaker 4: If you were to be on The Housewives, we've discussed
- 11:10Speaker 4: this before, and I've been approached what I ever think about,
- 11:13Speaker 4: and I would never think about it, but you got
- 11:15Speaker 4: me thinking about it now. I would like to expose
- 11:18Speaker 4: my husband. for the mumbler he is. He's got marbles
- 11:21Speaker 4: in his mouth. So if he sees himself on a
- 11:24Speaker 4: reality show going, and then I would say, see, see,
- 11:28Speaker 4: and the fans would run.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Also, if I'm, if I'm being honest, his breathing's heavy.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Yes.
- 11:34Speaker 1: What would you want to expose about Peter? Um, the
- 11:39Speaker 1: enormously loud sneezes. Oh, the sneezes are so loud. Um,
- 11:46Speaker 1: I mean, people go, why are you, like, so jumpy?
- 11:49Speaker 1: It's the sneezes. They're so out of nowhere. And you
- 11:53Speaker 1: know what? They can be controlled. Because I went to
- 11:58Speaker 1: the Masters.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Oh.
- 12:00Speaker 1: And there's Peters everywhere there. There's Peters right and left.
- 12:05Speaker 1: They all look the same. From a distance, I thought
- 12:10Speaker 1: everyone was my husband, okay? I hope you didn't act
- 12:13Speaker 1: on that, Heather. No, I did not. He was with me.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Okay.
- 12:17Speaker 1: There's allergies. We're at the Masters. It's allergy season. The
- 12:21Speaker 1: guys are putting the ball and hitting the ball. Everyone's quiet.
- 12:25Speaker 1: How is there not one 55-plus dad not doing one
- 12:31Speaker 1: of those epic sneezes? Because you can control it. They
- 12:34Speaker 1: can control it. It's performative. It's to make everyone in
- 12:38Speaker 1: the house be annoyed with them. And they're still 13-year-old boys,
- 12:41Speaker 1: and they get off on it. So they sneeze loud.
- 12:44Speaker 1: They do it in threes.
- 12:46Speaker 4: Would you rather be with a man who has the
- 12:50Speaker 4: volcanic sneeze or, you know, I'm going to say he
- 12:53Speaker 4: does a.
- 12:56Speaker 1: You have to pick one. Oh, my God. Because how
- 13:00Speaker 1: do you bang a guy who's like, I got a sneeze?
- 13:03Speaker 1: I guess I'd go for a big sneeze. Aren't you
- 13:06Speaker 1: a lucky lady? He also does this other thing that
- 13:08Speaker 1: started about a year ago. He goes through phases, much
- 13:11Speaker 1: like a toddler. Yeah. And it's like, again... Like this
- 13:17Speaker 1: big yawn. Oh, that's a yawn? It's a big yawn.
- 13:22Speaker 1: And it's just because he's downstairs. Like in falsetto? It's
- 13:26Speaker 1: like he's downstairs and nobody's there with him. So it's
- 13:32Speaker 1: like his like call to just remind me that he's there.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Do you when.
- 13:39Speaker 4: not just your husband, but anybody, sneezes. Because I'm grossed
- 13:43Speaker 4: out by everything.
- 13:43Speaker 1: By the way, I love sneezing. It is like a
- 13:46Speaker 1: mini orgasm. I get it. Sneezing is very satisfying. I
- 13:49Speaker 1: feel that way when I hear the little Netflix thing
- 13:52Speaker 1: at the beginning of each show. I feel it in my...
- 13:55Speaker 1: Would you, per se, a man who.
- 14:00Speaker 4: Sneezes and you don't like, it could be a woman too,
- 14:02Speaker 4: you hear the sneeze, my automatic reaction should be, and
- 14:06Speaker 4: I'm a girl from the South and the etiquette should
- 14:07Speaker 4: be there, should be, God bless you, but you know
- 14:09Speaker 4: what I do? Fake a sneeze right now.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Achoo!
- 14:13Speaker 5: Ew!
- 14:13Speaker 1: You're disgusting. I say, ew. Yeah. That's not nice. No,
- 14:17Speaker 1: it's not nice. But it's much like a sneeze, I
- 14:18Speaker 1: can't control it.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:21Speaker 1: As far as going on the show, First of all,
- 14:24Speaker 1: they'll never ask me. No, they're not asking you. I'm
- 14:27Speaker 1: way too inside baseball. I've never wanted to be on
- 14:30Speaker 1: the show. I've always been someone that's fascinated, liked it,
- 14:33Speaker 1: liked the women outside of the show, liked interviewing them.
- 14:38Speaker 1: The thing I would do is a type of show
- 14:43Speaker 1: with other funny women, whether they're reality stars or comedians.
- 14:46Speaker 1: We're right here. And we go on trips together. That
- 14:50Speaker 1: are paid for. That are paid for and maybe some
- 14:53Speaker 1: trauma happens. Maybe they don't. I don't really care. I
- 14:56Speaker 1: would rather not exploit my children or fuck up my
- 15:00Speaker 1: marriage at this point. Right. I understand jobs are hard
- 15:04Speaker 1: to find. They are. I understand there's a thirsty bitch
- 15:07Speaker 1: who's 45 that's already put her whole life out on Instagram.
- 15:12Speaker 1: And it comes a knocking. Are we pitching right now? No,
- 15:15Speaker 1: I don't blame those people. No, but we're pitching right
- 15:17Speaker 1: now if anyone's watching.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Sure.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Imagine Heather and I. I pushed for the Ultimate Girls
- 15:22Speaker 1: Trip production-wise, all of it. Why I think that stuff
- 15:27Speaker 1: works is... It's a win-win for everybody. Right. You're not
- 15:30Speaker 1: tying up these girls for six months. You're not fucking
- 15:34Speaker 1: up their marriages and exposing their kids. You get to
- 15:37Speaker 1: go out of town with them. Even if the kids
- 15:39Speaker 1: are over 18, they're not ready to have the whole
- 15:41Speaker 1: world explore them maybe being annoyed with you because they
- 15:45Speaker 1: forgot the cameras were there. Right. And then it's like
- 15:46Speaker 1: your son's an asshole for life.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Right.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Like, you know, do you not remember the scene? Yes,
- 15:50Speaker 1: I remember every scene, Heather. I'm an expert. Real Housewives
- 15:53Speaker 1: of OC, Gina- Keno goes to the baseball game unannounced
- 15:59Speaker 1: with Vicky.
- 15:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:00Speaker 1: And he's stressed. He was not having it.
- 16:02Speaker 3: I don't blame him.
- 16:03Speaker 1: I brought it up 20 times. It's why he never
- 16:05Speaker 1: went professional. But it's also wrong for me to bring
- 16:07Speaker 1: it up 20 times. But I can't help it. You
- 16:09Speaker 1: can't help it. They did the show. They did. He's
- 16:12Speaker 1: happily married, has a couple kids, is like a realtor
- 16:15Speaker 1: in Florida. I'm sure he is great. Still great relationship
- 16:19Speaker 1: with mom. Because every time I ask her, I say,
- 16:22Speaker 1: I still think about that. I mean, I.
- 16:26Speaker 6: Cringy.
- 16:27Speaker 1: But again, my sons have been rude and disrespectful to me.
- 16:32Speaker 1: We all have had a kid. But not on camera.
- 16:34Speaker 1: But not on camera. And I wouldn't want that to
- 16:37Speaker 1: haunt them. I think it could really affect them. Look
- 16:40Speaker 1: at Lynn Curtin's kids. Oh, well, what's left of them.
- 16:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Too soon?
- 16:45Speaker 1: She lost a couple fingers. But how many fingers do
- 16:47Speaker 1: you really need, Heather, when you think about it? Think
- 16:50Speaker 1: about this. If I'm having a martini, right? Right. And
- 16:53Speaker 1: I'm missing, I don't know, well, I would never miss
- 16:55Speaker 1: my ring finger, but it's really just this section. Do
- 16:58Speaker 1: we know how she lost her fingers? That's drug abuse.
- 17:01Speaker 1: It's not funny. You know where you don't lose fingers from?
- 17:04Speaker 1: Too many martinis.
- 17:05Speaker 4: Unless, of course, you put your down and someone puts
- 17:10Speaker 4: one on top really hard.
- 17:11Speaker 1: And I'm brittle. I have osteoporosis. Heather, can we repitch
- 17:14Speaker 1: this idea that it's a bunch of famous, a bunch
- 17:18Speaker 1: of fabulous, funny ladies... all in the world of reality,
- 17:23Speaker 1: and you put us, and you're not putting us in some, like,
- 17:25Speaker 1: all-inclusive secrets bullshit, right? It doesn't matter. It matters to
- 17:28Speaker 1: me where we stay, Heather. Well, I mean, obviously it's
- 17:30Speaker 1: going to have to be a set-up thing. Like a
- 17:32Speaker 1: fancy one. Where we have our house, we have activities,
- 17:35Speaker 1: they split us up.
- 17:38Speaker 7: They think you're done for the day, but they don't
- 17:40Speaker 7: know about the drawer. The drawer. Just the one square
- 17:46Speaker 7: before bed. Or two, you know. Nobody's watching. You deserve
- 17:53Speaker 7: a treat. With eight flavours to choose from, you can
- 17:59Speaker 7: choose the flavour you favour with Cadbury Dairy Milk.
- 18:08Speaker 5: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 18:11Speaker 5: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 18:14Speaker 5: have faced tremendous setbacks and yet somehow have found a
- 18:19Speaker 5: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 18:21Speaker 2: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 18:24Speaker 1: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 18:27Speaker 1: filed against me. When your free will was about to
- 18:29Speaker 1: be taken from you, what would you.
- 18:31Speaker 5: Do if it was given back? Where did that need
- 18:33Speaker 5: come from where you thought that you had to succeed
- 18:36Speaker 5: in order to feel loved?
- 18:38Speaker 1: He said, I have a work dad.
- 18:39Speaker 3: I need a home dad. What happens next? When I
- 18:41Speaker 3: came in, he started crying.
- 18:43Speaker 5: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 18:47Speaker 5: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 18:50Speaker 5: happens next.
- 18:51Speaker 1: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 18:53Speaker 1: every day was. You're worth the work.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 18:57Speaker 1: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 18:59Speaker 5: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 19:03Speaker 5: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 19:13Speaker 1: You remember in what I loved about, this movie did okay,
- 19:18Speaker 1: but it was, I think Tina Fey was one of
- 19:20Speaker 1: the writers. Amy Poehler, they go for like their wine weekend.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Did you ever see it? So here's a hot take
- 19:26Speaker 1: on Lori Altman. I don't really watch many movies. Okay, well,
- 19:29Speaker 1: they did like a weekend with all these funny women.
- 19:33Speaker 1: And they go to a Napa weekend. And there's just
- 19:35Speaker 1: this part where they are kind of talking behind each
- 19:39Speaker 1: other's back, but it's all out of concern. Like Beverly
- 19:44Speaker 1: Hills this season. That's why I give it some credit
- 19:48Speaker 1: because I do think that's real. It was real. You're like, okay,
- 19:52Speaker 1: do you think something's going on with her? Like, I
- 19:54Speaker 1: don't know. Do you think their marriage is okay? That's
- 19:57Speaker 1: what would happen. Like if you're all together, you, if
- 19:59Speaker 1: you noticed your friend of, you know, 20 years, you
- 20:03Speaker 1: get it together every three years, you have this sorority weekend,
- 20:06Speaker 1: whatever it is. So, but, If we put this show together,
- 20:11Speaker 1: there has to be more history, which sometimes I think
- 20:15Speaker 1: the Ultimate Girls Trip, I think sometimes they don't know
- 20:19Speaker 1: what they're doing. I don't believe Portia's friends with Vicki Guffelson.
- 20:22Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
- 20:23Speaker 1: That's where that loses the plot for me. Me too.
- 20:25Speaker 1: I think that you need to, if you're going to
- 20:28Speaker 1: do it, you do it with... O.C. people that have
- 20:32Speaker 1: a history with each other. Yes. And they go do something.
- 20:36Speaker 1: You do it with New York and you bring them
- 20:38Speaker 1: back and you go do a week, but it's all,
- 20:40Speaker 1: they know each other. Not just, we hung out once
- 20:43Speaker 1: at BravoCon and I DM'd you that funny reel once.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Right.
- 20:48Speaker 1: No history is going to happen in this week. No
- 20:50Speaker 1: juicy thing is going to happen. But you need to
- 20:52Speaker 1: be worried about me because you've known.
- 20:54Speaker 4: By the way, I would love us to go away
- 20:56Speaker 4: and I'm spending so much money.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Like so much money that you're worried about me.
- 21:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Like I would love that look for me.
- 21:02Speaker 4: And I would think as a friend, and I'm saying
- 21:05Speaker 4: a lot of money, I'm closing down stores that you
- 21:08Speaker 4: go on camera, you call whoever and you're like, things
- 21:12Speaker 4: are not normal and how much he's spending.
- 21:14Speaker 1: I think that's a great look. Yeah, I mean, it
- 21:18Speaker 1: is what it is. But I do believe she, and
- 21:21Speaker 1: we're referring to. Let's get to Dorit real quick. Dorit,
- 21:25Speaker 1: we are days away from not only her book launch, Unburdened.
- 21:31Speaker 1: She's making fun of herself. She's calling the times DST,
- 21:36Speaker 1: Dorit Standard Time. All the four places that she's going to,
- 21:41Speaker 1: which is like the first one is Barnes & Noble
- 21:43Speaker 1: over here in the Grove. It says four-ish. Then six-ish, ten-ish.
- 21:51Speaker 1: I don't think being late is a cute quirk. No,
- 21:56Speaker 1: not the kind of delete, derate, late. And that's my
- 21:59Speaker 1: name for her, delete, derate. It is not. It says
- 22:03Speaker 1: I don't give an F about you.
- 22:04Speaker 3: I don't care.
- 22:05Speaker 1: There's no way. Lateness is something that is so indicative
- 22:10Speaker 1: of your personality. I believe there's three kinds of people
- 22:13Speaker 1: in this world. Okay. The person who's always on time
- 22:18Speaker 1: and maybe a couple minutes early. Okay. Okay? That's pretty
- 22:21Speaker 1: much me, except for today. Okay? Because I forgot my
- 22:25Speaker 1: laptop and I have a Zoom to do after, so
- 22:27Speaker 1: we did have to turn around. One off. And you
- 22:29Speaker 1: felt horrible. And you didn't lie about it and said
- 22:31Speaker 1: you were checking on your kids.
- 22:32Speaker 5: Yes.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Then there's people that you will keep in your life forever. Mm-hmm.
- 22:38Speaker 1: But you know they're always about 15 minutes late. Which
- 22:42Speaker 1: is very late, but... And so you plan as you
- 22:46Speaker 1: get older. And if you're someone who's always on time,
- 22:49Speaker 1: it takes you to about 50 years old where you
- 22:51Speaker 1: start to lie and tell them, come at 345 when
- 22:56Speaker 1: you really want them to come at 4. Do you
- 22:58Speaker 1: tell them that, though? I just started doing this with
- 23:02Speaker 1: my sister... And I've known her my whole life. I
- 23:06Speaker 1: just started being dishonest. You've known your sister your whole life.
- 23:08Speaker 1: I've known my sister my whole life. She's my best friend.
- 23:11Speaker 1: And I just started being dishonest with her about the time.
- 23:13Speaker 1: But do you tell her that I'm doing this? No. Well,
- 23:16Speaker 1: you just did. Well, she'll listen. It's okay.
- 23:18Speaker 5: Right.
- 23:19Speaker 1: But the last time we did something, she got there
- 23:22Speaker 1: before me. I couldn't believe it. I could not believe it.
- 23:26Speaker 6: Was she annoyed?
- 23:27Speaker 1: Not at all. But I'm not overly mad about the
- 23:31Speaker 1: 15 minutes. I just accepted it. Especially here in LA.
- 23:34Speaker 1: 15 is almost early. I just accepted it. So there's that.
- 23:37Speaker 1: And then there's the Doritos, which blatantly will be late
- 23:41Speaker 1: by an hour or two. To a plane, Heather. To
- 23:46Speaker 1: a plane. How does that even work? Well, it's a
- 23:50Speaker 1: private plane. So what? I know, even worse. And let
- 23:55Speaker 1: me tell you something. Imagine being married to that. Go ahead. Yeah.
- 24:01Speaker 5: Right.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Because I'll say it. I think maybe I'm team P.K.
- 24:05Speaker 1: You don't want to, but I think I'm team P.K.
- 24:08Speaker 1: I don't think she was easy to be married to.
- 24:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 24:13Speaker 1: I think it was, we'll never know what really someone's
- 24:18Speaker 1: marriage is.
- 24:19Speaker 5: Oh, I know.
- 24:20Speaker 1: I know exactly what happened. And how it can get
- 24:23Speaker 1: so ugly and then being public. What did you think
- 24:26Speaker 1: about him going on the podcast? Did you see? Yes.
- 24:28Speaker 5: Yes.
- 24:30Speaker 1: I bought it. I think he finally feels... He's obviously
- 24:34Speaker 1: released all the financials. He wants everyone to know that
- 24:37Speaker 1: she's a shopaholic. All of that.
- 24:40Speaker 3: And.
- 24:41Speaker 1: He blames himself, though. It's going to get ugly. I
- 24:44Speaker 1: don't understand how she makes $ 3. 5 million a year. I
- 24:47Speaker 1: don't understand how he, as the manager of Boy George,
- 24:51Speaker 1: makes $ 3. 5 million a year. Obviously, he must have... a
- 24:55Speaker 1: bunch of businesses that make money, and then I think
- 24:58Speaker 1: she also probably makes a million a year off of
- 25:01Speaker 1: the live Amazons. Well, there is money to be had.
- 25:05Speaker 1: I heard there's a lot of money there.
- 25:06Speaker 4: She's not making it from Beverly Bikini, I can tell
- 25:08Speaker 4: you that. Beverly Beach.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Whatever. Beverly Beach, you could call it. But I do
- 25:12Speaker 1: think she probably makes 1.2. There's no three in front
- 25:16Speaker 1: of it. No, but she makes at least 1.2. I
- 25:18Speaker 1: feel like we know what these housewives make, I don't
- 25:24Speaker 1: know if anyone's ever gotten to the two point to
- 25:26Speaker 1: the two million range, but I know they've gotten to
- 25:28Speaker 1: like one, two, one, four around there. And she has
- 25:31Speaker 1: been on for like 10 years.
- 25:32Speaker 5: Yes.
- 25:33Speaker 1: So I think she's probably at one, two to one, four.
- 25:35Speaker 1: So where the two other million comes from, it must
- 25:39Speaker 1: all be brand deals and that Amazon live. That's what
- 25:41Speaker 1: I think.
- 25:42Speaker 4: So she's an example of what you were saying. You know,
- 25:44Speaker 4: I was saying, I don't care if Meredith Marks ever
- 25:46Speaker 4: comes back. I don't love to read, but.
- 25:49Speaker 1: I think she should stay on because she's good TV.
- 25:53Speaker 1: She needs to stay on. Well, she absolutely needs to
- 25:55Speaker 1: stay on. But nothing surprises me. No, no nothing surprises me. Yeah.
- 26:02Speaker 1: Nothing surprises me. How about this beef with Lala and
- 26:05Speaker 1: Maurice here? Are you up to date on that? I am.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Love this. Well, let's talk Valley. Let's talk Valley. Okay,
- 26:13Speaker 1: so Lala's been my friend for many years. She and Amber,
- 26:17Speaker 1: who was also married to their ex, shared exes. Oh,
- 26:21Speaker 1: you just had them on here. That was fascinating. That's
- 26:23Speaker 1: a great podcast. You haven't seen it. Check it. Thank you. And,
- 26:26Speaker 1: you know, now they're truly best friends. They have this
- 26:28Speaker 1: podcast together. Trauma bonding. They bring all the girls together,
- 26:32Speaker 1: you know, who are, you know, half siblings and everything.
- 26:35Speaker 1: And it's just fascinating. And so I love watching Lala.
- 26:39Speaker 1: I think she makes great reality TV. She's on The
- 26:41Speaker 1: Valley full time. And last night, I haven't... It was, well,
- 26:47Speaker 1: the episode where... Danny and Nia. Danny is kidding.
- 26:51Speaker 4: Wait, time out for a second. This is my first Valley.
- 26:54Speaker 4: I'm not proud to say it.
- 26:55Speaker 1: Oh, you didn't watch the last two seasons? Never.
- 26:57Speaker 4: And my hot takes, I would love your, after you
- 27:00Speaker 4: tell me about this, opinion because seeing it for the
- 27:02Speaker 4: first time, I have some strong opinions and I think
- 27:05Speaker 4: I might be wrong.
- 27:06Speaker 1: But I know I don't like Danny. Well, let's hear
- 27:09Speaker 1: your opinions. You go ahead. Let's hear your raw opinions.
- 27:11Speaker 1: All right.
- 27:11Speaker 4: Well, listen, I'm a Vanderpump Rules fan. And I never liked,
- 27:16Speaker 4: and I like her even less on The Valley. First
- 27:19Speaker 4: time I've watched The Valley is Kristen.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Don't like her. Okay.
- 27:23Speaker 4: I think she's a whiner. I think she's annoying. I
- 27:25Speaker 4: think she's boring. And I think she's dramatic. The Kristen
- 27:30Speaker 4: that I remember from early Vanderpump is what I'm seeing
- 27:33Speaker 4: this season on The Valley.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Am I right? You are right. What's hard about this
- 27:39Speaker 1: situation with all of them is... You know, we really
- 27:43Speaker 1: are watching real lives. Yes. And the state that they're
- 27:46Speaker 1: in is kind of sad.
- 27:49Speaker 3: It is.
- 27:52Speaker 1: The Valley is sad. L.A. is sad. Getting, being, having
- 27:58Speaker 1: a postpartum baby, baby, body baby where you haven't lost
- 28:01Speaker 1: the weight. Having. It's not the reality TV we want
- 28:05Speaker 1: to see. Yeah, having men that are. Where we can
- 28:09Speaker 1: edit it. We can edit it and see Danny being
- 28:13Speaker 1: absolutely awful to Nia. Now, were there scenes where they
- 28:17Speaker 1: went to the house in Santa Clarita and he set
- 28:19Speaker 1: up a Manny and Penny for her and took out
- 28:22Speaker 1: all the kids? That could have happened. They're not going
- 28:25Speaker 1: to show us that. So I'm saying we are seeing
- 28:29Speaker 1: what they want us to see because they need the
- 28:32Speaker 1: fans to get passionate. Last season, we were so angry
- 28:36Speaker 1: at Janet. Well, so tell me about that. So last season,
- 28:40Speaker 1: Janet was, appeared through the editing to be going after Danny,
- 28:48Speaker 1: saying that he drinks a lot and that he had
- 28:51Speaker 1: a drunken night. He touched somebody. Where he was handsy
- 28:54Speaker 1: with a Jasmine who we first met on The Bachelor
- 28:59Speaker 1: when she was looking for a man. She's since fallen
- 29:04Speaker 1: in love with a woman. Ain't she with a woman?
- 29:06Speaker 1: She's fell in love with a woman who I don't
- 29:07Speaker 1: think is featured in this photo. How many people turn
- 29:09Speaker 1: gay on The Bachelor? She ate the first. Well, Gabby fell,
- 29:12Speaker 1: and she's with Robbie Hoffman.
- 29:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Who's hilarious. And that's fun. And there was one other
- 29:17Speaker 1: girl that was on it, and then she was bisexual
- 29:20Speaker 1: on The Bachelor in Paradise and got together with a girl,
- 29:24Speaker 1: but I don't know what happened to her. So, Janet,
- 29:26Speaker 1: I didn't see it last season.
- 29:28Speaker 4: I did see the scene where she's on a boat
- 29:30Speaker 4: and accusing people and being— Yeah.
- 29:33Speaker 1: She, you know, again, she used the wrong words in
- 29:37Speaker 1: in this world of accusing what did she say she
- 29:40Speaker 1: didn't say like me too but she basically said like
- 29:42Speaker 1: assault you like assaulted someone or something like that a
- 29:44Speaker 1: very strong word and that's daddy heather we don't know
- 29:48Speaker 1: we never saw it so what happened was he was
- 29:51Speaker 1: boozing and he made some sexual reference or or touched
- 29:56Speaker 1: Jasmine's butt in a funny, drunk, I'm your friend manner.
- 30:01Speaker 1: But also somehow it was good because Jasmine was like,
- 30:05Speaker 1: it really was, A, it was uncomfortable, but also being
- 30:08Speaker 1: a lesbian, having a fiance who's a woman, being a
- 30:11Speaker 1: girl who's in love with a woman. Gosh, that's confusing.
- 30:13Speaker 1: It like diminished.
- 30:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:15Speaker 1: It kind of diminishes like where a guy doesn't really
- 30:18Speaker 1: think that as a woman that you could be in
- 30:21Speaker 1: love with another woman. So there was that element that
- 30:24Speaker 1: was demeaning. That's deep. And then also just being sloppy
- 30:28Speaker 1: and kind of touchy. We never saw it. It was
- 30:31Speaker 1: brought up because it was never filmed. It was brought
- 30:34Speaker 1: up as a storyline.
- 30:36Speaker 3: Okay.
- 30:37Speaker 1: And people at home, I think, felt like it was
- 30:39Speaker 1: all right, you know, because he did reach out. He
- 30:42Speaker 1: profusely apologized. But then Janet, it appeared, was on the
- 30:45Speaker 1: track of trying to always point out, like, you know,
- 30:48Speaker 1: he came to meet them at, like, Lake Tahoe or
- 30:51Speaker 1: something or someplace.
- 30:53Speaker 7: And.
- 30:54Speaker 1: He was coming back from doing like a voiceover thing.
- 30:59Speaker 1: And so the car drops him off. They've been drinking
- 31:01Speaker 1: all day. And he goes in the pantry and does
- 31:05Speaker 1: like a shot of tequila. Yeah. And she saw it
- 31:08Speaker 1: and she talked about it. And it was like, well,
- 31:11Speaker 1: I just wanted to catch up. Or do you have
- 31:14Speaker 1: a drinking issue? Does he? Well, what I think what
- 31:16Speaker 1: we're seeing now in this season is I think Nia
- 31:21Speaker 1: put her foot down. and was like, you're not drinking
- 31:24Speaker 1: on camera. You're not drinking on camera. It made you
- 31:28Speaker 1: look awful. You did these things. You look like a boozer. Like,
- 31:32Speaker 1: we're not doing that. So if we're going to be
- 31:33Speaker 1: on the show, you're not drinking. And because he can't drink,
- 31:36Speaker 1: and these people actually aren't fun around to be, aren't
- 31:39Speaker 1: fun to be around unless you're drunk, in my opinion.
- 31:43Speaker 1: I mean, which is why Schwartz is ordering drinks at
- 31:46Speaker 1: the fucking roller coaster. Oh, God, do I love me
- 31:48Speaker 1: some Schwartz. I mean, people are, they have, they're drinking
- 31:51Speaker 1: because These people aren't great friends. They finally have some
- 31:56Speaker 1: fun away from their kid. They want to get drunk
- 31:59Speaker 1: and Danny can't. So what does he do? He's irritated.
- 32:02Speaker 1: He's on edge. He needs a drink to take the
- 32:04Speaker 1: edge off. And he's nitpicking and being awful to Nia.
- 32:08Speaker 1: To the point where he's telling her how she needs
- 32:13Speaker 1: to do his wig for a drag thing. Which, by
- 32:16Speaker 1: the way, we've already seen that in Vanderpump. Yeah. And
- 32:20Speaker 1: no one was an uglier woman than Tom Schwartz. No. Wait,
- 32:24Speaker 1: let's back up, though.
- 32:25Speaker 4: So, again, being a first-timer, I, watching this season, I
- 32:31Speaker 4: like Janet.
- 32:32Speaker 1: Is that just, is that sacrilegious? No, no, I like Janet.
- 32:36Speaker 1: I know her personally. I get it. I think, you know, whatever.
- 32:41Speaker 1: I like her more than Danny. Her going after Danny, again,
- 32:45Speaker 1: we don't know if the producer said, hey, bring that
- 32:46Speaker 1: up again, if she chose to bring it up, and
- 32:49Speaker 1: if that's all they ever showed. But she was persecuted
- 32:52Speaker 1: by the fans last season. It seemed harsh. People were
- 32:55Speaker 1: asking for her head to be fired from the show,
- 32:58Speaker 1: all that stuff. So I think she's probably sitting back,
- 33:01Speaker 1: on Tuesday nights or whenever this airs and is like
- 33:04Speaker 1: having a pretty nice time opening up her phone because
- 33:08Speaker 1: he is coming off horribly. They have four kids. Her
- 33:13Speaker 1: voice naturally sounds like she's on the verge of tears.
- 33:16Speaker 2: Right?
- 33:17Speaker 1: She's always like, well, it's really hard because I'm trying
- 33:20Speaker 1: to breastfeed and I just wanted one bite of a burrito,
- 33:23Speaker 1: but Danny was hoping to get a massage and a
- 33:26Speaker 1: coffee and And he didn't realize that I had the
- 33:29Speaker 1: blanket and he needed the blanket to swaddle her. So
- 33:32Speaker 1: sometimes it's hard when you have four kids. That is
- 33:36Speaker 1: spot on. And a newcomer to the show. She's gorgeous. Gorgeous.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Why did he capture her and take her out to
- 33:44Speaker 1: some cult-like... I'm not from here. Santa Clarita. Santa Clarita
- 33:49Speaker 1: is absolutely fine, okay? It's really far from everything. It's
- 33:53Speaker 1: far from where they have to film. That's their job.
- 33:56Speaker 1: But it's a whole nother community that, you know, is
- 34:00Speaker 1: outside of LA. So it has the better schools and
- 34:02Speaker 1: you can get a cute home.
- 34:04Speaker 5: And, you know.
- 34:05Speaker 1: She don't like it there, though. No, it's not as cool. And,
- 34:09Speaker 1: you know, if you have your group of 10 friends
- 34:12Speaker 1: and you're all doing the mommy shit, it probably would
- 34:15Speaker 1: be fine. But all her friends are here and she
- 34:18Speaker 1: films a show and stuff. But they couldn't get that
- 34:21Speaker 1: kind of a house out where everyone else lives. And
- 34:24Speaker 1: it's much safer and cleaner and all that. So is
- 34:27Speaker 1: it okay that I like Janet?
- 34:29Speaker 5: Yes.
- 34:29Speaker 1: I don't like Kristen.
- 34:30Speaker 5: Okay.
- 34:31Speaker 1: I definitely don't like Danny. I like Lacey and Jessie. Right.
- 34:37Speaker 1: So then Jessie gets this new girl, Lacey. Yeah, I
- 34:41Speaker 1: like her. And she's coming off great. And, you know,
- 34:44Speaker 1: before when they all said, oh, she's pulling a— she wants
- 34:47Speaker 1: a cease and desist— So that we can't talk about her.
- 34:50Speaker 1: I totally understand why. Because if she's not on the show,
- 34:53Speaker 1: she doesn't want you doing confessionals. Keep my name out
- 34:55Speaker 1: of your mouth. Yeah, she doesn't want you doing confessionals
- 34:57Speaker 1: about her when she can't defend herself. And then also,
- 34:59Speaker 1: she didn't want to be on the show because they
- 35:01Speaker 1: were newly dating and she didn't want to look thirsty. Now,
- 35:05Speaker 1: I also met her personally and she was lovely, but
- 35:08Speaker 1: I didn't really know her deal. And now I watch
- 35:10Speaker 1: her on the show and I'm like, I like her.
- 35:12Speaker 1: And I like when he told the little girl... To, like,
- 35:15Speaker 1: do a dance or something. And she said, yeah. And
- 35:17Speaker 1: she goes, don't make her do that. Like, she doesn't
- 35:18Speaker 1: want to do it. Don't ask her. And I don't think,
- 35:21Speaker 1: I think a lot of people at home realized, like, oh, wow.
- 35:26Speaker 1: That is a good parenting thing I should probably take on.
- 35:30Speaker 1: And I don't think about that. I like them. Now,
- 35:31Speaker 1: I don't know that I'd be sitting here today across
- 35:34Speaker 1: from you if my parents didn't make me perform for free. Okay?
- 35:39Speaker 1: Every time they had someone come over, my dad would
- 35:41Speaker 1: be like, little girls. Really? And Shannon and I would
- 35:44Speaker 1: come out and we would sing. She'd be late though, right?
- 35:48Speaker 1: Like 15 minutes. Yeah, maybe. But I would come out
- 35:52Speaker 1: and I would have to sing for the cocktail party.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Sing for your supper. I would have to sing, you know,
- 35:57Speaker 1: the sun will come out tomorrow. I kind of love that.
- 36:00Speaker 4: I have a great story like that. So it was
- 36:02Speaker 4: when Grease came out because I'm 100 years old. And
- 36:07Speaker 4: I had just seen the movie and we were at
- 36:09Speaker 4: a holiday dinner party.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Yeah. And my parents were different than yours, Heather. They
- 36:14Speaker 1: wanted me to shut the F up. Okay. And maybe
- 36:17Speaker 1: I wouldn't be here today if they hadn't said it
- 36:19Speaker 1: because now I need even more attention. Yeah. But I
- 36:22Speaker 1: get up in front of the old grandparents and the
- 36:25Speaker 1: aunts and uncles and the cousins.
- 36:26Speaker 4: I think there was neighbors there. And I start singing.
- 36:29Speaker 4: And I was all of, I don't know, 10 years old.
- 36:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:32Speaker 1: Look at me.
- 36:33Speaker 4: I'm Sandra Dee, lousy with virginity. And my dad pulls me.
- 36:40Speaker 4: I had a nightgown on. Would you ever have a
- 36:42Speaker 4: kid at a dinner with a nightgown on? Why was
- 36:45Speaker 4: I wearing a nightgown? And pulls me by my nightgown
- 36:47Speaker 4: in the kitchen and says, you can't sing that.
- 36:49Speaker 1: And I didn't know why. Well, I was going to do,
- 36:53Speaker 1: we were going to try out for this, like, I
- 36:57Speaker 1: can see why he said that. But I had a
- 36:59Speaker 1: similar thing happen. So at my all-girl high school, we
- 37:02Speaker 1: were going to do a talent show.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Okay.
- 37:04Speaker 1: And you had to audition for it. And you remember
- 37:08Speaker 1: that group that, like, I think Prince put together, those
- 37:10Speaker 1: three girls in their lingerie?
- 37:11Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 37:11Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 37:12Speaker 1: And it'd be like, I'm a sex shooter, shooting love
- 37:16Speaker 1: in your whole direction. So I listened to the tape.
- 37:20Speaker 6: Oh, no.
- 37:21Speaker 1: I kept rewinding. I wrote down all the words.
- 37:23Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 37:24Speaker 1: So that we could lip sync it on stage in
- 37:27Speaker 1: lingerie at the Catholic all-girl high school. And my dad
- 37:32Speaker 1: sees the yellow pad and reads the words.
- 37:34Speaker 3: Thank God.
- 37:35Speaker 1: And he's like, you cannot do this. And I was like, what?
- 37:39Speaker 1: This is whatever they're called. I forgot the name of it.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Six Snickies. Yeah. Something sick. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Something sick.
- 37:47Speaker 1: They were hot.
- 37:48Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 37:48Speaker 1: And so it was my sister Shannon. Our friend Lucy
- 37:53Speaker 1: was in between our grade and me. So what did
- 37:56Speaker 1: you end up doing? I had like three acts that
- 38:00Speaker 1: I was going to do. There was going to be
- 38:02Speaker 1: a whole talent show that happened. And my senior year,
- 38:07Speaker 1: I did a like stand-up act. I did a singing thing.
- 38:10Speaker 1: I did like a group dance. And I did a sketch.
- 38:14Speaker 1: And then. OK, Miss America. No, then they canceled. They
- 38:18Speaker 1: said the music teacher said, we're not going to have
- 38:21Speaker 1: a talent show this year. And we're like, why? And
- 38:23Speaker 1: he goes, one person's in four of the seven bits. So, no,
- 38:26Speaker 1: we're not doing it. If you can. Can you believe that?
- 38:31Speaker 1: I was so bummed. Like, that's all I wanted to do.
- 38:35Speaker 1: If you could look at your set. if you can
- 38:38Speaker 1: call it that from that talent show, if you still
- 38:40Speaker 1: have it, would you stand by any of the materialists?
- 38:43Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 38:44Speaker 1: And one was like, um, an impression, which now looking back,
- 38:48Speaker 1: it probably wasn't okay that I was going to do it,
- 38:50Speaker 1: but it was Tina Turner. See, that's not fair though,
- 38:54Speaker 1: because it was, You loved her. It was an, oh, mom.
- 38:56Speaker 1: What's love got to do, got to do with it? Oh,
- 38:59Speaker 1: it wasn't her, like, in pain and, like, kind of
- 39:02Speaker 1: getting hit? No, it was from, like, her hot video
- 39:05Speaker 1: that I watched. She's hot. Okay, let's talk more about,
- 39:08Speaker 1: you had a hot take on New Jersey. You wrote
- 39:13Speaker 1: me in text, and you said, Real Housewives of New Jersey,
- 39:16Speaker 1: and I was like, wow, this is a shocking stance.
- 39:18Speaker 1: I know, people are shocked. Would you like to share?
- 39:21Speaker 1: Can I curse on the? Yes, of course. I don't
- 39:23Speaker 1: fuck with New Jersey.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Okay.
- 39:25Speaker 1: I don't like it. I don't like the state. Okay.
- 39:30Speaker 1: I don't like the. Where do you live? Philly. And
- 39:33Speaker 1: don't tell me it's New Jersey, but it's really close. Okay.
- 39:37Speaker 4: I don't like the fashion. I don't like their homes.
- 39:40Speaker 4: I don't like their accent. I don't like the drama.
- 39:44Speaker 4: I do love me Marge.
- 39:46Speaker 2: Okay.
- 39:46Speaker 1: Well, she's not coming back. I know. And I'm happy
- 39:48Speaker 1: because I think she's better than that. Okay.
- 39:51Speaker 4: And my least favorite housewife of all time is Tracy Giudice.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Giudice. I don't find her absence of brain cells cute
- 40:02Speaker 1: or funny.
- 40:03Speaker 4: I think she's mean. I don't believe a word out
- 40:06Speaker 4: of her mouth. I'm team Melissa. But it's just not
- 40:10Speaker 4: a show that gets me.
- 40:12Speaker 1: That I feel... I want to... Listen. I don't need
- 40:15Speaker 1: to watch.
- 40:17Speaker 4: A reality series where the homes are more beautiful than mine.
- 40:21Speaker 4: The people are more fancy, more fabulous.
- 40:24Speaker 1: You don't need to. I don't.
- 40:26Speaker 4: I want to be transported into some shit that I
- 40:28Speaker 4: can't even relate to.
- 40:29Speaker 1: So you want it to be better than your life
- 40:32Speaker 1: or worse than your life? Better. Oh, better. I like
- 40:35Speaker 1: the drama. Don't get me wrong.
- 40:36Speaker 4: But I don't need to be looking at their dated kitchens.
- 40:39Speaker 4: And they're, you know, down the street, merry-go-round fashion. Will
- 40:43Speaker 4: anyone know what merry-go-round is?
- 40:44Speaker 1: Is that like a... I just don't. I want to
- 40:48Speaker 1: be able to.
- 40:49Speaker 4: That's why I still love Beverly Hills. Because at least
- 40:51Speaker 4: I'm seeing some nice things. And the things they fight
- 40:55Speaker 4: about in New Jersey, I think are stupid.
- 40:57Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't feel it. I mean, I feel like
- 41:01Speaker 1: it's a different thing. I feel like it's really relatable
- 41:05Speaker 1: in that.
- 41:07Speaker 1: It started with family and it still has family. And
- 41:10Speaker 1: I think that the family, it's a different type of show.
- 41:13Speaker 1: It's about family. And by the way, Heather, I don't
- 41:16Speaker 1: like family. And sure enough, when you work with your family,
- 41:21Speaker 1: it never goes well. The reason Beverly Hills to me is...
- 41:26Speaker 1: Love me some Beverly Hills. It's still, if I, if
- 41:28Speaker 1: God came down and said, there's only one Bravo show
- 41:32Speaker 1: that you can ever watch over and over and over again.
- 41:36Speaker 1: All the rest are getting removed. I would choose Beverly Hills.
- 41:41Speaker 1: So I would choose the two.
- 41:42Speaker 4: I'd be nervous because there's others I love more right now.
- 41:45Speaker 4: But long term?
- 41:47Speaker 1: Long term to start from the beginning and go and around.
- 41:50Speaker 1: Because one is I am an L.A. girl. Yeah. I
- 41:55Speaker 1: love L.A. I love the weather.
- 41:57Speaker 5: I love.
- 41:57Speaker 1: So visually... Gorgeous. You know, I never cared about, like,
- 42:02Speaker 1: Dallas being a backdrop or even Atlanta being a backdrop
- 42:05Speaker 1: or New Jersey. No, like, those are just those backdrops
- 42:08Speaker 1: of the city don't do anything for me. The women
- 42:10Speaker 1: can be compelling. The story can be compelling. Come and go.
- 42:13Speaker 1: But with Beverly Hills, you have real, real L.A., Hollywood
- 42:18Speaker 1: industry people.
- 42:19Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 42:20Speaker 1: And then on top of it, you have the history
- 42:24Speaker 1: of Kyle, Kathy, Kim. Mm-hmm. When it started... There's nothing better.
- 42:33Speaker 5: It was.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Nothing better. So there's that. And then... And then there's history.
- 42:38Speaker 1: You know, there's the history that even on a slower
- 42:40Speaker 1: season that someone would argue that the Dorit and the
- 42:42Speaker 1: Kyle is... It's still... It's real. I still feel all
- 42:46Speaker 1: of them bring a lot. Um... I just had Bose
- 42:50Speaker 1: on the show and I really liked her a lot.
- 42:52Speaker 5: Fascinating.
- 42:53Speaker 1: And I had someone, someone did a little review of
- 42:56Speaker 1: it on their TikTok and they were like, I didn't
- 42:58Speaker 1: like her until I heard her on Heather McDonald's show.
- 43:02Speaker 1: And I do find her fun and interesting. So again,
- 43:05Speaker 1: like they can all come back. I don't know how
- 43:09Speaker 1: Amanda will fit into the next season. Heather, I like her.
- 43:13Speaker 1: I don't think she's a good housewife. Yeah, I like her. Yeah,
- 43:16Speaker 1: I don't think there's anything wrong with what she's doing.
- 43:18Speaker 1: I think she's kind of brilliant. I just don't think she, like,
- 43:20Speaker 1: fits in relationship-wise. I don't think she's coming back. I
- 43:25Speaker 1: don't think any decision's been made. Right, but I feel
- 43:28Speaker 1: my gut is.
- 43:29Speaker 4: And so I, my Roman Empire, I'm mostly thinking about nachos.
- 43:36Speaker 1: Yeah. Sunscreen. I'm always looking for the best condescension. And
- 43:39Speaker 1: Erika Jayne.
- 43:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 43:41Speaker 4: God, I just find her to be The perfect reality star.
- 43:48Speaker 1: Period. Yeah. Queen. Thoughts on Erica? I really think her
- 43:56Speaker 1: story is fascinating.
- 43:57Speaker 2: Yes.
- 43:57Speaker 1: When I read her book, I was very disappointed.
- 44:00Speaker 2: Yes.
- 44:01Speaker 1: There was absolutely no juice in it. Nothing. I still
- 44:05Speaker 1: think it would be great to have her come and
- 44:09Speaker 1: sit down here on Juicy Scoop and answer the questions
- 44:11Speaker 1: I have. which are nothing incriminating.
- 44:14Speaker 2: No.
- 44:15Speaker 1: I am not out to incriminate her, have her lose
- 44:17Speaker 1: her lawsuit. The things that I would like to ask
- 44:20Speaker 1: Erica are, so you meet Tom Girardi, okay? You have
- 44:26Speaker 1: a decent relationship with your ex-husband, and you decide the
- 44:31Speaker 1: ex-husband is going to raise the child in New York.
- 44:35Speaker 1: Pretty controversial for that time. Very. Obviously, it all worked out.
- 44:39Speaker 1: You still have a great relationship with your son, right?
- 44:42Speaker 1: I was always thinking that when she would get her
- 44:47Speaker 1: bad season, which she never got. Dying to hear this.
- 44:50Speaker 1: I always thought season two of her or three, some
- 44:54Speaker 1: bitch is going to bring that up. And they never did.
- 44:58Speaker 1: Maybe they did.
- 45:00Speaker 4: And maybe she was like, oh, you're not going to.
- 45:02Speaker 4: Because she did freak when people did bring up the sun.
- 45:06Speaker 4: And later in the cop part.
- 45:08Speaker 1: The cop part where that was so weird with Elaine Davidson.
- 45:13Speaker 1: But I just thought, because I remember I was interviewing
- 45:16Speaker 1: her and I said, okay. And then, you know, she's very,
- 45:19Speaker 1: at this point, she'd only been on the show one season.
- 45:21Speaker 1: So she's very holding back. It was when I did
- 45:26Speaker 1: the podcast. We weren't even filming it back then. And
- 45:29Speaker 1: she still brought three people. For the photo. She had
- 45:33Speaker 1: a hair guy, a makeup person, and the wardrobe person.
- 45:37Speaker 1: To be her. And all lovely. Okay. Sat down. Did
- 45:40Speaker 1: answer everything. But I said, so tell me, so you
- 45:43Speaker 1: meet Tom Girardi and tells me how she meets him and,
- 45:47Speaker 1: you know, moved in with like in her Toyota Celica
- 45:51Speaker 1: and like a bag of clothes. I don't even know
- 45:53Speaker 1: if she had a luggage. Dory. Moved in with him.
- 45:55Speaker 1: And then one day he's like, hey, let's get, we're
- 46:00Speaker 1: getting married today. My friend, the judge will be the
- 46:03Speaker 1: person or something. And they got married on like the
- 46:06Speaker 1: eighth hole of like whatever, some country club. And I go, so,
- 46:10Speaker 1: so who is, you know, so who was there? Just,
- 46:13Speaker 1: just the two of you and, and your son. And
- 46:16Speaker 1: she goes, oh no, my son wasn't there. Now the
- 46:18Speaker 1: son was a little boy. Yeah. Was the mom there?
- 46:21Speaker 1: And what I want to ask her is, this is
- 46:23Speaker 1: what I'm guessing. And now I believe it was such
- 46:28Speaker 1: a transactional relationship. That, you know, it was like living
- 46:35Speaker 1: with your dad. And I think he said, listen, you
- 46:39Speaker 1: can buy whatever you want. You can hop on a
- 46:42Speaker 1: plane and visit your son. The son can come out here.
- 46:45Speaker 2: But I.
- 46:47Speaker 1: I need a wife to be available to me. I
- 46:49Speaker 1: don't hate that. I can't have you going to Little League,
- 46:53Speaker 1: doing all this stuff. I am not looking to father
- 46:56Speaker 1: a five-year-old. And I think that also part of the
- 47:00Speaker 1: package might have been she was really quite generous. to
- 47:04Speaker 1: the ex-husband, this is all me assuming, to keep it nice,
- 47:08Speaker 1: know that he had a great life in New York
- 47:10Speaker 1: and everything. And maybe because she was already kind of
- 47:13Speaker 1: living a separate life in LA, not being a day-to-day mom,
- 47:18Speaker 1: it was okay for her. It was okay for her
- 47:21Speaker 1: and it was okay for her son. And like I said,
- 47:23Speaker 1: they have a great relationship today. A lot of dads
- 47:26Speaker 1: don't have a day-to-day with their kid and turn out
- 47:29Speaker 1: to still have a great adult relationship with their child,
- 47:32Speaker 1: providing they do it all right and everything. But I
- 47:34Speaker 1: always thought, how has that never been brought up in
- 47:39Speaker 1: like a bitchy moment? But I'm glad that they didn't
- 47:44Speaker 1: do it because it would have been a really bitchy
- 47:45Speaker 1: fucked thing to say. But I love that you're saying
- 47:49Speaker 1: it now. But her comeback would have been like, and
- 47:50Speaker 1: look at us now. I have a great relationship with
- 47:53Speaker 1: my son. Now, the son never appears on TV, which
- 47:57Speaker 1: totally is fine. Which is hot because he's a cop.
- 47:59Speaker 1: And she respects it and everything. But as a viewer...
- 48:03Speaker 1: She's like, oh, my son loves my new boyfriend who's
- 48:06Speaker 1: like the Navy SEAL. Yeah. You wouldn't mind it. You
- 48:10Speaker 1: wouldn't mind it. Could I see a dinner? You wouldn't
- 48:11Speaker 1: mind it. A cookout. Could I see a dinner? Could
- 48:13Speaker 1: I see a cookout? Could I see him bring his
- 48:16Speaker 1: girlfriend and see if she gets it off with... Would
- 48:19Speaker 1: it kill him? I mean, by the way, he's in
- 48:22Speaker 1: a line of work that could kill him. This won't
- 48:24Speaker 1: kill him.
- 48:25Speaker 7: Right.
- 48:25Speaker 1: I'm not mad at him for doing it. I'm a
- 48:27Speaker 1: little mad. I'm just saying she still... I don't care
- 48:30Speaker 1: if we never see the boyfriend or the son. I
- 48:32Speaker 1: still want her on the show. I still find her interesting.
- 48:35Speaker 1: I like her advice. I love that she's become this person.
- 48:38Speaker 1: But there's those kind of things. I also would like
- 48:40Speaker 1: to ask her, so now you've been married to Tom
- 48:43Speaker 1: Girardi for a few years, and you're going to these
- 48:46Speaker 1: highfalutin lawyers, Pasadena, which is the only old money town
- 48:54Speaker 1: in L.A. It's Pasadena. These people are snobby. That's not
- 48:58Speaker 1: how Erica grew up. Were these women mean to her?
- 49:01Speaker 1: Were they nice to her? Did any of these other
- 49:04Speaker 1: guys hit on her like they did in Pretty Woman?
- 49:08Speaker 1: The book had no juice. And you didn't even read
- 49:11Speaker 1: the book. Why did you book me today? We need
- 49:13Speaker 1: to get Erica in this chair. I always ask Erica.
- 49:16Speaker 1: Every time I see her, she's very nice to me.
- 49:18Speaker 1: I always say, I know you're busy. But there's so
- 49:20Speaker 1: many rules with Brava and all that shit. But I
- 49:23Speaker 1: don't know. I think there's so much more. This is
- 49:25Speaker 1: the interview. I think there's so much more that she
- 49:27Speaker 1: could share.
- 49:28Speaker 4: And she should share that part because we did see
- 49:32Speaker 4: signs and symptoms of her not fitting in.
- 49:34Speaker 1: And we would feel the same way. And he was
- 49:36Speaker 1: an asshole. Yeah. And she realizes it now. Like, Erica, please.
- 49:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 49:42Speaker 4: And that's one of the many reasons I love her,
- 49:45Speaker 4: is that she could have gone the other way with
- 49:48Speaker 4: being insecure and staying in the victim role.
- 49:52Speaker 1: And I think she rose. I mean, another person, Jennifer Tilly. Well,
- 49:59Speaker 1: can we talk about the dress for a second? Can
- 50:01Speaker 1: I get one with your picture on it? But only
- 50:03Speaker 1: someone with her personality could get away with that. If
- 50:07Speaker 1: Dorit did it, the world would rip her apart. Of course.
- 50:11Speaker 1: I mean, it's almost like sometimes when a drag queen
- 50:13Speaker 1: does something, it's every woman is like, she's fabulous.
- 50:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 50:17Speaker 1: But if a woman actually dressed that... She mentioned if
- 50:21Speaker 1: Amanda had done it.
- 50:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:23Speaker 1: No. It's not okay. It's like, you know, you're a thirsty,
- 50:28Speaker 1: annoying twat.
- 50:29Speaker 5: Right.
- 50:29Speaker 1: But someone that doesn't like... Of course you should wear
- 50:32Speaker 1: your face. Yes. Because you're Jennifer Tilly and she's so likable. Now,
- 50:35Speaker 1: she's someone that... This has worked out perfectly for her.
- 50:41Speaker 1: She doesn't have kids. We never see the boyfriend. Kind
- 50:44Speaker 1: of like Carol Radziwill, when she did the show, and
- 50:48Speaker 1: I told her this because she's been on my show
- 50:49Speaker 1: a bunch of times, I'm like, you're kind of lucky
- 50:51Speaker 1: because you didn't ruin a family, you didn't ruin a marriage,
- 50:56Speaker 1: you didn't hurt your kids. It's like you just could
- 50:59Speaker 1: go on and be yourself. And so she could just
- 51:01Speaker 1: go on and be herself. Is she a friend of
- 51:04Speaker 1: or a total member? She's still a friend of. Which
- 51:07Speaker 1: is also in the poster. Someone who don't need a dollar.
- 51:10Speaker 1: It's the perfect role. It's the perfect role. It keeps
- 51:13Speaker 1: her relevant. I think she's doing some play or filming
- 51:16Speaker 1: something right now. So she's able to still be top
- 51:21Speaker 1: of mind for someone that may have otherwise forgotten about her.
- 51:23Speaker 1: Of course we would have. And then she gets to
- 51:25Speaker 1: have her fun. And she's just... sweet she doesn't have
- 51:29Speaker 1: to hide her money no she got it perfectly she
- 51:34Speaker 1: married someone who made a bunch of money she got
- 51:36Speaker 1: really smart with her divorce and then when he died
- 51:39Speaker 1: they were still friendly so it's like she when she
- 51:43Speaker 1: has some hundred thousand dollar bag no one's mad about
- 51:47Speaker 1: it your dead ex-husband left you that money.
- 51:51Speaker 4: Was she married to bart simpson But she also is
- 51:54Speaker 4: a brilliant poker player.
- 51:57Speaker 3: Yes.
- 51:58Speaker 1: Let's give her some flowers for that.
- 52:00Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 52:01Speaker 1: Very interesting woman. Yeah. And I'm looking at the cast. Well,
- 52:06Speaker 1: I mean, you know her and you went to her
- 52:08Speaker 1: party and I've never gone. Kathy Hilton. What a moment.
- 52:13Speaker 1: What a once in a lifetime. I mean, she is historic.
- 52:17Speaker 4: She should be protected at all costs. She's a national treasure.
- 52:22Speaker 4: I think she is great.
- 52:24Speaker 1: You know, she too has two sons we never see
- 52:28Speaker 1: or hear about. I don't know what they're doing. They're
- 52:30Speaker 1: good looking. And that's all fine. Yep. You know, like
- 52:33Speaker 1: when I've been like, how many grandkids do you have now?
- 52:36Speaker 1: She'll say all, you know, like a couple of boys
- 52:38Speaker 1: have had kids.
- 52:38Speaker 4: But the only ones that count are the ones from Paris.
- 52:41Speaker 1: Well, to me.
- 52:44Speaker 5: Right.
- 52:44Speaker 1: But I think it's nice that, you know, Paris is
- 52:48Speaker 1: one type of star. Nikki is really building her own brand.
- 52:52Speaker 1: But Nikki Mary's a Rockefeller. I mean, they just have
- 52:58Speaker 1: done great. And I root for them. I want really
- 53:03Speaker 1: wealthy people to get more money. Why do you think
- 53:05Speaker 1: she was so angry at Kyle for doing the short-lived
- 53:10Speaker 1: show American Woman about their mother?
- 53:13Speaker 4: Listen, we all have complicated... relationships with moms and Kathy's
- 53:19Speaker 4: was very different than Kyle's. And if you're, I mean,
- 53:22Speaker 4: Kathy's a little older, 10 years older, different dads. It's listen,
- 53:25Speaker 4: it's a private thing.
- 53:27Speaker 1: Right.
- 53:27Speaker 4: And Kathy doesn't put her dirty laundry out. And she
- 53:31Speaker 4: felt like, why are you doing this? I have these
- 53:34Speaker 4: great memories and not great memories and I'm not putting
- 53:37Speaker 4: on blast. I understand why she was angry, but I
- 53:40Speaker 4: also understand and was proud that Kyle's like, but this
- 53:42Speaker 4: is my story.
- 53:44Speaker 1: Right, and the story of how that came about is
- 53:47Speaker 1: Kyle went to like Soho House or something with a
- 53:50Speaker 1: couple people. That's when she was fun. They were like
- 53:54Speaker 1: fans or something when she was still drinking. And they
- 53:57Speaker 1: were just chatting and she was just telling these fun
- 53:59Speaker 1: stories about her mother. And she leaves and then they
- 54:04Speaker 1: call and they said, you know, we actually think that'd
- 54:07Speaker 1: make a great scripted show and I want you to
- 54:09Speaker 1: meet these whatever. And You can't blame her for being like,
- 54:14Speaker 1: now I'm an executive producer of a scripted show about
- 54:16Speaker 1: my life. It only went one or two seasons or something.
- 54:21Speaker 1: I never really watched it. I am very familiar with
- 54:24Speaker 1: the book that you cannot buy anymore, which is the
- 54:29Speaker 1: book about the Hiltons. Some fans sent it to me.
- 54:33Speaker 1: And it was written probably 20 years ago. Paris had
- 54:38Speaker 1: already been famous. It is not... No, I can't imagine.
- 54:44Speaker 1: Towards the mom and the men that she dated and
- 54:47Speaker 1: what her aspirations were for her three daughters. And mom
- 54:50Speaker 1: liked the drink, right? Yes, but also the mom, you know,
- 54:54Speaker 1: was smart in the sense... It's two, there's two different
- 54:58Speaker 1: kinds of moms, right? My mom was the mom that
- 55:02Speaker 1: was like, you get an education, you make your own money.
- 55:05Speaker 1: Don't ever depend on a man. You won't need a man.
- 55:07Speaker 1: You're going to this private school and you're going to
- 55:09Speaker 1: go and be a star and be a successful person,
- 55:12Speaker 1: whatever that is. That's how my mom, like when, when
- 55:16Speaker 1: my mom was young, her parents were like, sent her
- 55:19Speaker 1: to this to live with her cousin who was only
- 55:21Speaker 1: 20 because that's where a private all-girl Catholic high school
- 55:24Speaker 1: was in Chicago. And at that time, they were like,
- 55:28Speaker 1: you're smart, and that's the only way you're going to
- 55:30Speaker 1: have a career is if you go to this private school.
- 55:34Speaker 1: So those schools started to kind of keep you from
- 55:36Speaker 1: getting knocked up and just being a housewife, like whatever.
- 55:39Speaker 1: So then there's that kind of mom. This kind of
- 55:42Speaker 1: mom was like, no, you're going to make it because
- 55:46Speaker 1: you're going to marry the richest woman son of the
- 55:49Speaker 1: richest man in L.A. Mission accomplished. And you are going
- 55:53Speaker 1: to go for that. And you know what? It's just
- 55:57Speaker 1: as easy to marry a rich man as it is
- 55:59Speaker 1: to marry a poor man. And it was that kind
- 56:01Speaker 1: of mentality. Obviously, in Kathy's case, it certainly has worked out.
- 56:06Speaker 1: It sure as hell has. They seem like their best
- 56:08Speaker 1: buds and have been together like 45 years. Kyle married
- 56:12Speaker 1: this Persian prince. Yeah. Who used to be hot. The
- 56:17Speaker 1: first one? Oh, wait, we never talk about the Mauricio
- 56:20Speaker 1: Lawless thing.
- 56:21Speaker 5: Right.
- 56:22Speaker 1: She married the first husband.
- 56:23Speaker 3: Yes.
- 56:23Speaker 1: Right, right. And had the first daughter, Farrah, and they
- 56:27Speaker 1: seem to always have a decent relationship. Then she marries Mauricio,
- 56:32Speaker 1: and they don't have a pot to piss in. He's
- 56:34Speaker 1: selling suits at a clothing store. They get their real
- 56:38Speaker 1: estate license together, and he starts working. Then she starts
- 56:43Speaker 1: having kids. He starts working for the Hiltons. And like
- 56:47Speaker 1: I said, it never works out when you work with family, ever.
- 56:50Speaker 1: I work with my family. Well, that's one off, Heather.
- 56:52Speaker 1: I don't know if it works out. Oh, well, maybe
- 56:55Speaker 1: it does. But for sure, in Mo's case, there's bad blood.
- 56:59Speaker 1: So what happened when you said, what happened with the
- 57:01Speaker 1: Lala story? So the Lala story is, I guess she
- 57:04Speaker 1: said on her podcast that he DM'd her. Well, he did.
- 57:07Speaker 1: And said, let's get coffee.
- 57:09Speaker 3: He did.
- 57:10Speaker 1: That's all true. It does. But then he was stopped
- 57:13Speaker 1: and they said, tell us about this. And he goes,
- 57:15Speaker 1: she's a liar. I don't think she's lying. What happened
- 57:19Speaker 1: was he got wind that she was recapping shows or whatever,
- 57:25Speaker 1: her podcast. And, you know, I always say, you know,
- 57:29Speaker 1: the new thing to the TV show should be I
- 57:32Speaker 1: heard what you said about me on your podcast. I mean,
- 57:35Speaker 1: that's what it is. You just say it, you put
- 57:36Speaker 1: it out there, and then you have to, like, clean
- 57:38Speaker 1: it up. Can we talk about someone right now and
- 57:40Speaker 1: make it happen? Wait, let's finish this story, but then
- 57:43Speaker 1: think about it. Yeah, I'm going to say something. Okay,
- 57:45Speaker 1: so then I think he heard, and he reached out,
- 57:49Speaker 1: and he's like, hey, I heard what you said about
- 57:51Speaker 1: me on your podcast. Which is that he's a player.
- 57:54Speaker 1: Or whatever. Which he is. He goes, I'd like to
- 57:57Speaker 1: clear it up or something, either on the phone or
- 58:00Speaker 1: we could get a coffee.
- 58:00Speaker 7: Weird.
- 58:01Speaker 1: And it shows, so then that's what it is. So
- 58:05Speaker 1: she's not lying per se, but why would you have
- 58:09Speaker 1: to get a cup of coffee? So, okay. I had
- 58:14Speaker 1: PK reach out to me once.
- 58:15Speaker 3: No!
- 58:16Speaker 1: Because on my podcast, maybe two seasons ago, I said,
- 58:20Speaker 1: you know, they're 20 years apart, Dorit and PK. And
- 58:24Speaker 1: he wrote me and he said, we are not 20
- 58:26Speaker 1: years apart. We are seven and a half years apart.
- 58:29Speaker 2: Oh!
- 58:31Speaker 1: I don't blame him for reaching out to you, Heather.
- 58:33Speaker 1: And I'm like, you are only seven and a half
- 58:36Speaker 1: years older than Dorit. He goes, Dorit's 47. This is
- 58:40Speaker 1: like two years ago. And I'm 56 or whatever it was.
- 58:44Speaker 1: Or 54, whatever, seven years. And I was like, wow.
- 58:50Speaker 1: you look a little older than that. But I was
- 58:52Speaker 1: just like, wow, she looks a lot younger. You got
- 58:54Speaker 1: it wrong. But he was, but I, yeah, I got
- 58:55Speaker 1: it wrong. You're not 20 years apart. You wouldn't like
- 58:57Speaker 1: that if someone said you're, you know. No. So I
- 59:00Speaker 1: kind of loved that he did it. I wasn't offended.
- 59:02Speaker 1: I liked that he corrected it. And you like his accent, right?
- 59:05Speaker 1: I flattered that he knew about it. Yeah. And I'm like,
- 59:07Speaker 1: all right. Like, you know, I like to read, I
- 59:10Speaker 1: think he's fine, too. Like I said, we now know everything,
- 59:14Speaker 1: you know, that he drinks too much or doesn't. She
- 59:18Speaker 1: spends too much or she does or doesn't. Nobody is
- 59:23Speaker 1: spending any money on the mortgage. It was his job.
- 59:27Speaker 1: There was a letter got lost in the mail, whatever.
- 59:30Speaker 1: Now it's ugly and we know it. And you're both
- 59:34Speaker 1: adults who have filed for bankruptcy. You've opened businesses. You've
- 59:39Speaker 1: spent money. You're not 20 and 55. You're not Erica
- 59:43Speaker 1: Jane who doesn't know what's going on with her husband's business.
- 59:46Speaker 1: At this point, this has happened before. You should have
- 59:48Speaker 1: been able to figure out a financial plan, and my
- 59:53Speaker 1: priority would have been not to move. I would have
- 59:56Speaker 1: done whatever it was to not move. My priority would
- 59:58Speaker 1: have been hiring Amanda Francis. Okay, what do you want
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: to talk about to get some press?
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: Who do I want to get the attention of? I mean, listen,
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: it's not popular. And I'm in a minority now, but
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: I still think Craig Conover's hot.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: Well, why did he suddenly become un-hot? I'm going to
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: tell you, because I'm a Southern Charm expert. Because Paige
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: dumped him? No. God, do I have to teach you everything?
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: I was just boots on the ground in Charleston, and
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: I hung out with Miss Patricia.
- 1:00:28Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: And let me tell you something. She can't even get
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: Craig to sleep with me. People don't like Craig because
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: he is, in fact, a liar.
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: What did he lie about? Oh, he lies about everything.
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: And because he acts different on camera, don't we all?
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: But the end of the day, Heather, I just think
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: he's hot looking. So what I'm going to say right
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: now is Craig Conover came on to me at BravoCon
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: when we were alone in an elevator.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: How? It didn't really happen, but I want him to
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: hear it. And I want him, not as publicist, I
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: want him to reach out and say, that didn't happen, Lori,
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: I'll be on your podcast. People just don't like him.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: They think he's immature. They think he's—but I just— it' s one
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: of those people that he's not a fan favorite anymore,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: but I'm not fair-weathered. What is it called? Fair-weather fan?
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: I just— I love me some Craig Conover. Well, I remember
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: when my heart fluttered, okay? Uh-oh. It was BravoCon— The
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: first one ever.
- 1:01:32Speaker 5: New York.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. Where you had to walk blocks to go
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: to the three different spots. The old school. And I
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: went to the spot where all these people had their booths.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: And I was with, so I went there and I'm
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: walking through the booths and I see Craig and Austin
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: selling their sewing caps online. Sewing down south. I never
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: met them. I didn't even cover Southern Charm that much.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: They knew who I was. Who? Both of them. And
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: they go, Heather! And I come over. I got a
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: free cap. Yeah, you did. Both tall and cute.
- 1:02:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: My type.
- 1:02:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: Southern frat boy types.
- 1:02:18Speaker 5: Oh, yes.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: And I got it too for both of them. And
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: then when he was with Paige, I was at an
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: event at Spago for like women in reality TV or
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: something like that. And Paige is adorable. And I'd already
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: had Hannah on my show and I know Hannah. And they, again,
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: both came up to me very, very sweet and cute.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: But I knew from Hannah years back She did a
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: show of mine and then we got a drink after.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Not going to do it again. Without telling me too
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: much like, okay, shake your head or whatever. I was like,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: do you think they'll get married? And she was like, no, no.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: And they still stayed together like a year and a
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: half after that. So I was like, oh, so I
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: wasn't surprised when they broke up. I wasn't surprised by
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: their kind of dynamic on camera. And I think part
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: of that is just, you know, circumstances and also, you know,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: Paige's success. And when you date at that age for
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: a certain amount of years and you don't get engaged
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: or married by a certain amount of time, that window
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: becomes something where you're like, maybe I don't want this. Like,
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: that's why guys, when they do find that girl that's right,
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: they do need to lock it down. They do. They do.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: They need to lock it down because she'll change her mind.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: But he wasn't going to be able to lock her down.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: She was a star rising.
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: And what I didn't mention, Heather, is maybe Craig isn't
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: great on alcohol. And maybe he got thrown out of
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: Kyle and Amanda's wedding because of it. And maybe he's
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: very mean on it. Maybe the last season of Southern Charm,
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: that's another reason they don't like him. Is he sober now? Well,
- 1:04:02Speaker 4: he said he was sober. And then he started drinking.
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: And that was a big storyline this past season. But
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: I have to tell you, I don't know there's something
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: about Craig's temper. I mean, I'm almost 60. Whatever turns
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: me on, turns me on. I don't want him hurting anyone.
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: But I don't mind a little out of control Craig.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: Well, speaking of you, do we think, yes or no, allegedly,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: do you think Jen Fessler got fingered by West? Over
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: her pants? Yes. Well, no, it would have to go under.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: I think it was an inappropriate flirtation. Okay. Okay. I
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: think that they didn't have real skin on skin and
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: I believe they didn't have sex. Am I naive, Heather?
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: I don't know her personally. I have met her and
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: she was on my show. I think she seems likable
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: and non-polarizing, just kind of like, you don't hate her,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: you don't, like, go hard for her and ride at dawn. Like,
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: she's just a normal woman that was pretty, that knew
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: the people in the group. Like, I just kind of, like,
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: you know, and I'm sure she's intelligent and, like, a
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: decent friend. I... Who knows? Some would say, you know,
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: whatever that is, thee who attest too much whatever. I mean,
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: I think.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: I had someone once tell me this like manager guy goes,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: didn't you? Oh, no. Oh, this was it. It was
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: like somebody was like, didn't you have a threesome with
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: like Sofia Vergara? God, would you be cooler? Did you
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: just say yes? Why wouldn't you just say yes? I
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: was like. That's amazing, Heather. That's the best rumor. I mean,
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: she kind of did that. She kind of was like,
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: I can't believe, you know, that anyone thinks that I
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: would be Eskimo sisters with Ciara or whatever she said.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: But I just, I don't know. I think because maybe
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: it was a little inappropriate or maybe there are phone
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: calls or DMs or something flirty that happened. Who knows?
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: I don't think her husband cares. I think if she
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: told him this stupid rumors going around, I'm going to
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: squash it. He's probably like, fine. Probably didn't listen to
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: two cunts on a Zoom. He didn't even listen to
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: that episode. He doesn't even know what's going on and
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: he doesn't care. And then because she is trying to
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: stay relevant, she probably was like, I'm going to make
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: lemonade out of it. She is.
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: Listen, she was very upset not to be cast again.
- 1:06:44Speaker 4: She was riding off into the not sunset. But I
- 1:06:47Speaker 4: would say who is collateral damage is her son.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: He doesn't find any of it cute. I didn't even
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: know she had a son. That's how much I don't
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: remember from the show. Yeah, yeah. She has a son
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: and daughter.
- 1:06:58Speaker 7: New Jersey.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: But I would say he's not finding it cute. It's embarrassing.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: The whole world's now... But I think it is, Dolph,
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: protest too much. You must be. But there's something about
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: the way she's denying it that I'm believing. It may
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: be my woman's instinct, but I would love it if
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: I'm wrong. Gosh, would I love that. I don't know.
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: I think it's... I think it's possible and it also
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: could be nothing. No, no, no. But he did. How
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: about that watch what happens? Do you see that when
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: he says... And he says, if you slept. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: and he says, almost 60. And it was weird. It
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: was weird, but that's what I liked about it.
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: Ooh, didn't he, did you think he was cute before
- 1:07:42Speaker 4: this happened?
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: No. Wow, I did. I feel so dirty. That's okay. Yeah,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: I did. I didn't. Wait, how about I never liked
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: Amanda Batula until this season? Now you like her? No, no, no.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: At the beginning of the season, I started liking her. Oh. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: Because you felt sorry for her and you're glad. Well,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: because I had a younger daughter saying she's like the
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: cool girl and she's beautiful and she dresses and Kyle's
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: mean to her.
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: And wow, did I flip my way of thinking. I
- 1:08:07Speaker 4: don't like Mandy.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: You know who I don't like also? Well, I don't
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: like Carl Radke's mom. I've made videos about that. You
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: see that episode? Good Jesus. I don't know what you're
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: talking about, but do tell me what's wrong with his
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: mother and why you go after a reality star's mother.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: She's that mother that comes over to Lindsay at the
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: soft bar with no alcohol and she's like all in
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: the camera and Lindsay's face and Lindsay's like, I didn't
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: marry your son because of this. Oh, oh, this is
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: recent at his launch, which looks like it went well.
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: You got to see that. But who I've just really
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: never liked, I don't get why people like her, but
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: people ride hard for is Lindsay. What is your feeling
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: on Lindsay Hubbard? I don't want to pull a Rappaport here.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: I don't want to get in trouble.
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: It's not that I dislike her. I just don't get
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: the hype on Lindsay Hubbard.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: I think she's really pretty. I like, good for her
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: and what she's done. Um, love that she's a mother.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: I was always very curious. I was shocked when they
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: got together, her and Carl. Yes. I always thought when
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: he was a little bit heavier and he'd wear those
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: white pants, I always thought he would end up with
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: a boyfriend. Yeah.
- 1:09:19Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: I mean, I think we all did. But there's, you know,
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: there's no proof to it. I don't think that's going
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: to happen. I heard one something, but it doesn't matter.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: I heard that about West TD. You never know. Guys,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: younger guys that are horny, they may dabble in the dick.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: They might dabble in the dick. God, I don't even
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: dabble in the dick anymore. And not really care. Why
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: is it okay for women to... make out with their
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: sorority sister and do all that stuff, but for some reason, guys,
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: the minute they do a sword fight, they can't hang
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: out with a girl again? I don't know. It's possible.
- 1:09:52Speaker 4: Heather, I know you were a big sorority girl because
- 1:09:54Speaker 4: you were cool like that, like me. When you look
- 1:09:58Speaker 4: at the pictures on Facebook of your sorority sisters now,
- 1:10:00Speaker 4: there's none of those you're going to do, correct?
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: I never did anybody. I never kissed a girl. I've
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: never kissed a girl. I've never even done anything like that.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: But if you had to pick one woman on Bravo
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: to kiss... I know who I'd pick. I think I'd
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: pick Sierra.
- 1:10:15Speaker 7: Damn.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: I mean, I just think her body and her skin.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: It's just like, she's so perfect. And not only is
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: she a model, she's a nurse.
- 1:10:25Speaker 4: So if you pass out from cardiac arrest for being
- 1:10:29Speaker 4: with a woman for the first time, you think it's
- 1:10:31Speaker 4: going to be that great.
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: You're going to have a heart attack. My God, Peter,
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: what are you doing wrong? And you're tall and lanky
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: like her too. Yeah. I just think she's very, very attractive. Um,
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: But I'm just not attracted to women like that. Don't
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: you want to know who I would want to be with?
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: But wait, I want to go back to the Lindsay thing.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: She's just mean. I don't think she was mean. Okay,
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: you thought she was mean to Carl? I just think
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: she's mean overall. I don't like her energy. I mean,
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: it's kind of interesting that a show where, you know,
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: so many times we rally around women. And we're like,
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: I can't believe that, you know, you were with this
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: man that crushed your dreams and didn't believe in your
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: crocheting or whatever. And we have two instances on Summer
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: House where the women were bashing his DJ aspirations and
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: she was bashing his soft bar thing. And listen, I
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: kind of was on Lindsay's side too. I was like,
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: I get it. And I think part of it was,
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: You haven't taken this opportunity as being a television personality
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: to make a business work. I'm kind of getting turned off.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: Now we're getting married, and I don't want to put
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: our combined income into the hardest business on earth, a restaurant, bar,
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: sober or not, coffee house, a real brick and mortar
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: thing that you've never really worked in. It's not like
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: your dad owned five restaurants. You know, I mean, that's
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: where I think— Your dad's not Ronald McDonald. That's where
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: mine is.
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: Damn.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: So anyway, so that— That was great. Do you own— are
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: you McDonald money? No. Do you get free Happy Meals? No,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: but I did when I was a little girl. I
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: was being bullied. Is your dad Ronald McDonald? And my
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: mom said, just say it. Tell him your dad owns it.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: So I went back in, like, third grade, and I said,
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: my dad owns McDonald's. And then I went a little further.
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: Since we were at Catholic school, we didn't have a cafeteria,
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: but every Wednesday— you could fill out a little form
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: and get a burger delivered to you. And I said,
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: we donate all that. So you lied in Catholic school.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: I lied and I said, yeah, and I said, we
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: donate all the hamburgers and everything. And so for about
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: two weeks, I was the shit. How did that all
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: fall apart? A little shit came back to school and said,
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: you're a liar. My dad told me that the people
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: that own McDonald's aren't even named McDonald's anymore. And it's
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: a franchise, which means anybody could own a McDonald's. There
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: isn't one person that owns McDonald's. What is little Heather?
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: You were never little. What does tall Heather say at
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: that point? I just said. Oh, God. I just said, OK.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: I was joking.
- 1:13:13Speaker 4: So I'm at a frat party in college. I went
- 1:13:16Speaker 4: to University of Georgia.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: Go Dawgs.
- 1:13:18Speaker 4: And this hot guy comes over right on the spot,
- 1:13:21Speaker 4: quick as I am.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: He says, what's your name? I'm like, Lori Rapp. He goes, Rapp?
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: I'm like, Saran Rapp. He goes, that's your— I' m like, yeah,
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: Rapp is my family. We invented Saran Rapp. And he
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: just kind of walked away and went to the keg.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: Is that true, though? Yeah, I said that. But did
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: you invest in it?
- 1:13:38Speaker 3: No!
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: Oh. Oh.
- 1:13:40Speaker 4: Do you think that Saran Rap is a rap family
- 1:13:43Speaker 4: and they happen to do rap?
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:13:46Speaker 5: Right?
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: But he was— That was the one and only. I
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: never lied again because I figured— Heather. If a third
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: grader can figure it out— You never lied again. No,
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: about McDonald's.
- 1:13:54Speaker 5: Oh, okay.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: About McDonald's. If a third grader could figure it out,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: then you're— It's not a good lie. It's not a
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: good lie. You have a crush on Sierra Miller. I
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: can't believe— Do you want to have sex with Sierra Miller? No,
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: I don't want to have sex with her. You said
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: if I had to kiss someone— If I had to
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: kiss someone, it wouldn't be Jen Fessler.
- 1:14:14Speaker 5: No.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: Because old women are gross.
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: What Bravo boy would you kiss? Because obviously I would
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: say Craig.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: You can't go Mo. You can't go Mo. Craig is
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: pretty good. Let me just see. Let's go through here.
- 1:14:29Speaker 3: Kyle.
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: Do you think Kyle Cook's hot now? Absolutely no one
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: from the Valley. No. Do you think? I like Tom Schwartz,
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: but I don't think I want to kiss him anymore.
- 1:14:36Speaker 4: Wait, what about Kyle Cook, Heather? Are you finding him
- 1:14:38Speaker 4: having a glow up and being hot now?
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: I like Kyle Cook, but to me, he's a little
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: short for me, and I don't go for anything in
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: the blonde family. There's street signs that are short for you.
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: How tall are you? I'm only like 5'9. But I'm
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: definitely going to say, I'm going to say, I mean,
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: I'm going to say I think Craig is the only one. Yeah.
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: I don't even think I'd want Austin. No, you don't
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: want Austin. By the way, Craig and Austin aren't speaking.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: They hate each other.
- 1:15:02Speaker 4: Now, Wittner's a new guy who I've become friends with.
- 1:15:05Speaker 4: See that guy on the left?
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: Oh, he's cute. He's a southern gentleman. Oh, jeez. Yeah,
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: I like him. But I've interviewed, I can't even think
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: of his name. I can't see from here. You know,
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: what's his name? Shaky Leg.
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: Oh, Shep.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: You're not having me. You're not. I interviewed Shep. Listen,
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: I like this show because I'm attracted to that frat
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: boy style.
- 1:15:27Speaker 3: Same.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: That he and Austin and Craig all share. I think
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: Shep went to my college.
- 1:15:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: Yeah. But, you know. He's old now and he's not,
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: you know, that cool. I'm going to just, yeah, it's
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: going to have to be Craig as well.
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: And so I have a question for you. Yeah.
- 1:15:46Speaker 4: What is your favorite reality TV show right now? It
- 1:15:48Speaker 4: doesn't have to be Bravo. Like, what just makes you
- 1:15:51Speaker 4: smile and you can't stop just hearing the theme?
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: I mean, it's going to have to be Real Housewives
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: of Beverly Hills, and it's not on anymore right now.
- 1:15:59Speaker 7: It's not.
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: But that would have to be it, that I'd be
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: the most excited. I watch it on Peacock the day after,
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: so I'm like, oh, good. You know, it's Friday, and
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: I have a few shows.
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: To watch now.
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: You wish it was on all year, every day. I
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: don't know if I even love it that much. But
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: it makes you happy. But, yeah, if I have to
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: pick one, I'm, like, more into scripted shows a little
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: bit right now. Yeah. I'm sad that the comeback is over.
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: That was great. You know, there's just certain things, but
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: I feel like that is a little quirky and it's
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: not for everybody. So that's where we're at. Well, tell everybody,
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: you know, where they can enjoy more of your fabulous–
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: Hot takes and humor. Well, you can find me. I'm
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: a TikToker.
- 1:16:44Speaker 4: I'm an Instagrammer. I do a little entertainment reporting for
- 1:16:48Speaker 4: Us Weekly. And I have a podcast called Juicy Scoopy.
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: Does that bother you? There's a Y on the end.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: Juicy Scoopy. Fan or fanatic? By the way, fucking hilarious.
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: Right?
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: I love you, Heather. Juicy Scoop is trademarked.
- 1:17:09Speaker 6: I know.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: But there's a lot of things that have the word
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: juicy in it and a lot of things that have
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: the scoop in it. But you cannot. Take the scoop
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: out of the juice. You can say juicy scoop. I
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: love it. Like when I see like one time Melissa
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: Gorga is like, oh, give me the juicy scoop. Like
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: I love that it's in people's vernacular.
- 1:17:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: You just can't call your podcast that or wear a
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: shirt with it.
- 1:17:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: But that is really funny that you just said that.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: And I loved being.
- 1:17:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: And we will go after you, my team. This has
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: been fun. I like this. It's been so fun. I
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: love that you came out and we'll have to do
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: it again sometime. We will. That's great. Queen Heather. Love you.
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: I love you so much. Thank you.
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: Planning on rewarding your staff this year?
