- 0:08Speaker 1: By helloallalla, la lallallo. Welcome to the Naughty but Nice Show.
- 0:16Speaker 1: I'm your host role Shooter. It's Monday morning. It's the
- 0:20Speaker 1: fourth of July. This week, Oh exciting week. What are
- 0:24Speaker 1: your plans? Because it's the fourth though, several of the
- 0:28Speaker 1: co hosts are going to be off this week, So
- 0:30Speaker 1: today Garrett is off for the fourth Misst's off tomorrow.
- 0:33Speaker 1: But don't worry, I'm going to be doing shows. I
- 0:36Speaker 1: love it. I love talking to you every morning with
- 0:38Speaker 1: all the celebrity gossip. What's going on? So today all tease.
- 0:43Speaker 1: You're the co hosts, and I love it when you're
- 0:46Speaker 1: the co host I sit here giggling away thinking of
- 0:49Speaker 1: you at home and your cars. Maybe you're walking, listening, laughing,
- 0:54Speaker 1: joining in. We have lots of audience participation on this show,
- 0:58Speaker 1: so let's start right now. What time is it, my friends?
- 1:02Speaker 1: It is tea time. A big story at the top
- 1:07Speaker 1: of the show, A serious story actually for us, we
- 1:10Speaker 1: normally don't do these stories, but it's really bubbling up.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Everybody's talking about it in London, here, in America, around
- 1:17Speaker 1: the world. So the mother of slain US hero Pat
- 1:22Speaker 1: Tillman is slamming the decision to honor Prince Harry with
- 1:27Speaker 1: her son's award, saying quote, I am shocked, so in
- 1:32Speaker 1: a stunning rebuke. Mary Tillman, that's the mother of slain
- 1:38Speaker 1: US hero and former NFL player Pat Tillman, has criticized
- 1:44Speaker 1: ESPN's decision to honor Harry with the Pat Tilman Award.
- 1:50Speaker 1: So Harry is going to be getting the Pat Tillman Award.
- 1:54Speaker 1: ESPN gives it out and get this. Nobody asked his mother,
- 2:01Speaker 1: Nobody consulted his mom. She said the following quote, I'm
- 2:06Speaker 1: shocked as to why they would select such a controversial
- 2:11Speaker 1: and divisive individual to receive the award. There are recipients
- 2:17Speaker 1: out there who are far more fitting. So that's what
- 2:21Speaker 1: Mary Tillman said. She concluded by saying, quote, there are
- 2:27Speaker 1: individuals working in the veteran community that are doing tremendous
- 2:31Speaker 1: things to assist veterans. Now, the decision to honor Harry
- 2:37Speaker 1: has sparked a massive debate. Lots of people questioning why
- 2:40Speaker 1: did ESPN, of all the people who have done all
- 2:43Speaker 1: the wonderful things for veterans, why Harry? And the conclusion
- 2:49Speaker 1: most people have come to is that he's famous. They
- 2:52Speaker 1: want to give it to somebody famous. Often these awards
- 2:55Speaker 1: shows where they give out an honor, a lifetime achievement,
- 2:59Speaker 1: or something that's big like this an honorary award, often
- 3:04Speaker 1: you've got to be famous to receive it. It's a
- 3:07Speaker 1: way for them to get publicity. It's a way for
- 3:09Speaker 1: them to get pressed. ESPN is not a charity, it's
- 3:13Speaker 1: a profit business. They have sold this show. They want
- 3:17Speaker 1: to make sure that lots of people watch, and if
- 3:20Speaker 1: lots of people watch, lots of advertisers then put their
- 3:23Speaker 1: money into it, so it's more and more money. They
- 3:25Speaker 1: didn't need to do an award show because they wanted
- 3:29Speaker 1: to help people. I'm glad they are. They did the
- 3:31Speaker 1: award show to make money. This is how they make money.
- 3:35Speaker 1: And the more controversial, the more outrageous, the more dramatic
- 3:41Speaker 1: the guests are, the people that win the awards are
- 3:45Speaker 1: the more people that watch. That's generally the case. So
- 3:48Speaker 1: given it to Harry is a very good business decision.
- 3:52Speaker 1: If I was in charge of ESPN, if I was
- 3:54Speaker 1: a money person, I'd say, all, this is a great decision.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Prince Harry will get a lot of people watching. However,
- 4:01Speaker 1: if I was part of ESPN on the award show side,
- 4:04Speaker 1: not the money side, but the actual content side. I'd like,
- 4:08Speaker 1: I don't know if Harry is the right choice. Now,
- 4:12Speaker 1: he did start the Invictor's Games. We've got to give
- 4:15Speaker 1: him that. That was an amazing is amazing organization that
- 4:19Speaker 1: raises a lot of money and a lot of attention
- 4:21Speaker 1: for wounded veterans. Very honorable. And he didn't need to
- 4:25Speaker 1: do that. He's a prince. He didn't have to find
- 4:27Speaker 1: a job, he didn't have to do really anything. But
- 4:30Speaker 1: he decided that he had all his privilege and he
- 4:32Speaker 1: was going to start up an organization, a real organization,
- 4:36Speaker 1: not just give his name to a charity, which a
- 4:38Speaker 1: lot of rich people do. No, he started it from scratch.
- 4:42Speaker 1: He put his own blood and sweat into this to
- 4:45Speaker 1: make sure that it was a success. He used all
- 4:48Speaker 1: his contacts and all the power he has to make
- 4:51Speaker 1: sure this was wildly successful, which it is. And so
- 4:54Speaker 1: we've got to give him that. So maybe that alone
- 4:59Speaker 1: is a good in the free to give Harry the award. However,
- 5:03Speaker 1: the award isn't called the ESPN Award. Oh, It's named
- 5:09Speaker 1: for Pat Tillman, an absolute hero, a former NFL player
- 5:17Speaker 1: who was making millions, who had a really amazing future
- 5:22Speaker 1: mapped out in front of him. He quit the NFL,
- 5:26Speaker 1: joined the military, and ultimately was killed in action. Just heartbreaking.
- 5:32Speaker 1: His mom Mary has been an absolute brilliant advocate for veterans.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Surely if the award, which it is named after her son,
- 5:44Speaker 1: then surely they have to ask her, at least her inpuct.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Isn't that just the plight thing to do. You don't
- 5:52Speaker 1: have to give it over to the Tilman family every
- 5:54Speaker 1: year so they can pick somebody. Although that might not
- 5:56Speaker 1: be a bad idea, but you should at least sort
- 5:59Speaker 1: of consult make them feel part of the process. I
- 6:03Speaker 1: would get a Mary if I was ESPN with the
- 6:05Speaker 1: list of five or six people. All these people are
- 6:08Speaker 1: totally worthy. We'd love to honor one of these people.
- 6:11Speaker 1: What do you think, Mary, who's your top two? And
- 6:14Speaker 1: I think here that Mary is a very smart person.
- 6:19Speaker 1: She knows, she knows that having celebrity, that having star
- 6:24Speaker 1: power is going to help the award get more recognition.
- 6:27Speaker 1: She gets that. But it has to be a balance,
- 6:30Speaker 1: doesn't it, between the star power and the worthiness. Otherwise
- 6:34Speaker 1: we're just going to give awards each year to Kim
- 6:36Speaker 1: Kardashian or to Taylor Swift, the two most famous people
- 6:40Speaker 1: arguably in the world, or Beyonce. That isn't the point
- 6:43Speaker 1: of this award, because once we start not believing in
- 6:48Speaker 1: the award in what it represents, then it means nothing,
- 6:52Speaker 1: and then nobody's going to want to receive it, which
- 6:55Speaker 1: brings us to our whole question of the day, a
- 6:57Speaker 1: complicated one. Today, the mother of the slain US hero
- 7:01Speaker 1: Pat Tillman, Mary Tillman, slams the decision to honor Prince
- 7:05Speaker 1: Harry with her son's award. Our question is should Harry
- 7:10Speaker 1: receive this award? Is Harry worthy of the Matt Tillman honor?
- 7:17Speaker 1: It's a tough one. Hey, Go vote on a Twitter
- 7:20Speaker 1: page at Naughty Nice Rob or a Facebook page which
- 7:23Speaker 1: is Naughty Gossip and be sure to check back tomorrow
- 7:27Speaker 1: to hear your results. Okay, moving along, another naughty one.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Justin Timberlake joked about his d WI during his concert
- 7:35Speaker 1: in Boston. Sir Justin isn't crying a river booboom over
- 7:40Speaker 1: his recent brush with the law. The forty three year
- 7:44Speaker 1: old Grammy winner took a light hearted approach to his
- 7:48Speaker 1: recent legal troubles. During his concert on Saturday in Boston,
- 7:52Speaker 1: Justin alluded to his June eighteenth d WI arrest with
- 7:57Speaker 1: a joke while performing at the TD Garden, which is
- 8:02Speaker 1: part of his big tour. At the moment, is on
- 8:04Speaker 1: a world tour, and he said the following quote said
- 8:07Speaker 1: this to the crowd, it was sold out. Is there
- 8:10Speaker 1: anyone here tonight that he's driving dot dot dot? No,
- 8:14Speaker 1: I'm just kidding. Well, the crowd did laugh, although there
- 8:18Speaker 1: were some people in the crowd that felt very awkward
- 8:20Speaker 1: about this. Remember, he was pulled over in Sack Harbor
- 8:24Speaker 1: in New York on June eighteenth. He didn't shy away
- 8:29Speaker 1: from the incident last night. He addressed it head on
- 8:33Speaker 1: with humor. But is it funny? Often I love a joke.
- 8:37Speaker 1: We do this, don't we. I think a joke and
- 8:40Speaker 1: so light on the atmosphere. But joking about driving while
- 8:44Speaker 1: drunk isn't funny, and so we had to be very
- 8:46Speaker 1: very careful here. I know that Justin doesn't want to
- 8:49Speaker 1: dismiss it, but wants to move on from this, and
- 8:52Speaker 1: so I think the best way to do that is
- 8:54Speaker 1: so sorry. If he just said I'm really embarrassed. If
- 8:57Speaker 1: you stopped the show for thirty seconds and said, let
- 9:00Speaker 1: me address the elephant in the room. I'm so embarrassed.
- 9:02Speaker 1: I let you down. I let myself down, I let
- 9:04Speaker 1: my family down. This isn't the guy I want to be.
- 9:07Speaker 1: I'm sorry. Can imagine the place would go nuts instead?
- 9:11Speaker 1: He made a joke about it is anyone driving tonight Justin?
- 9:16Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know if he's that funny,
- 9:19Speaker 1: and I think it's really given us an insight into Justin.
- 9:22Speaker 1: I hit the phones and inspect to my sources, and
- 9:24Speaker 1: I said, Justin's gone an edge. If you remember, after
- 9:27Speaker 1: he apologized to Britney Spears, then he slammed her. He
- 9:31Speaker 1: made fun of her in one of his concerts, Crime
- 9:34Speaker 1: a River, that song that he really really exploited her
- 9:37Speaker 1: in he should stop singing that too. No, he sings it,
- 9:41Speaker 1: and before he sang it, after her book came out,
- 9:44Speaker 1: he said, I absolutely owe nobody an effing apology. He
- 9:48Speaker 1: said that on stage. So Justin has an edge. We
- 9:51Speaker 1: all think of him as the golden boy of the
- 9:54Speaker 1: boy bands. A nice guy. I'm sure he is. I
- 9:57Speaker 1: hear a decent man. I also here too, he's got
- 10:01Speaker 1: an edge. He thinks he's very special. He is special.
- 10:05Speaker 1: He's been famous since he was fourteen or fifteen, he's
- 10:09Speaker 1: been a superstar for two decades or so, and so
- 10:13Speaker 1: he does believe that he's very, very special. We've told
- 10:16Speaker 1: him for decades that he is where he believes it.
- 10:19Speaker 1: And he doesn't like to apologize. He doesn't like to
- 10:22Speaker 1: admit that he's done anything wrong. Who does. You don't
- 10:26Speaker 1: need to be a pop star. You don't need to
- 10:28Speaker 1: be famous to know how hard it is to sometimes
- 10:31Speaker 1: say sorry. I preach saying sorry all the time, but
- 10:36Speaker 1: yet when I have to say sorry, when I should
- 10:37Speaker 1: say sorry, it still takes me a second. It really does.
- 10:42Speaker 1: To do it, I alwayst feel better afterwards, So why
- 10:45Speaker 1: not do it? I don't get it varying you on
- 10:47Speaker 1: this one. Do you think it's funny? Is this the
- 10:50Speaker 1: best way to handle this, to have a little bit
- 10:52Speaker 1: of humor about it? I normally think yes, but I
- 10:56Speaker 1: don't think yes in this case. I don't think it's right.
- 11:00Speaker 1: What do you think? Okay? Moving along? Andy Cohen, who
- 11:03Speaker 1: just celebrated his fifteenth season year of What's What Happens
- 11:07Speaker 1: Live Congratulations, was asked about his regrets after fifteen season,
- 11:12Speaker 1: an enormous amount of time. Remember this started as a
- 11:15Speaker 1: web show. It was an online show, and then they
- 11:18Speaker 1: put it on TV I think once or twice a week,
- 11:20Speaker 1: and now it's on pretty much every night and it's
- 11:22Speaker 1: a huge hit for Bravo. They have all their guests
- 11:25Speaker 1: come on, they promote all their shows, and it's a
- 11:27Speaker 1: really great marketing tool for Bravo. In its peak, it
- 11:31Speaker 1: was getting a million viewers. Now it's much less today,
- 11:34Speaker 1: but it's still making money and Andy is still doing it.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Asked about his regrets, he said his biggest regret was
- 11:40Speaker 1: asking Oprah Winfrey if she had had sex with a woman.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Oh and so he said, this is a huge moment
- 11:47Speaker 1: for us in the show. Getting somebody like Oprah on
- 11:49Speaker 1: was a big, big moment. So up to then, the
- 11:52Speaker 1: show really had primarily mostly focused on Bravo stars, on
- 11:57Speaker 1: Real Housewives, on people from Top Chef, on people from
- 12:00Speaker 1: Project Runway, all those fabulous shows Bravo has or hand.
- 12:05Speaker 1: They had to do this show, and they wanted to
- 12:07Speaker 1: do it because back then a lot of the brather
- 12:09Speaker 1: celebrities couldn't get on any bigger shows. They couldn't get
- 12:11Speaker 1: on the Tonight Show. They couldn't get on the Today Show.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Now they can, but back then in the beginning, no
- 12:17Speaker 1: nobody really wanted them. So this was their big TV
- 12:19Speaker 1: booking each week to do Andy's show. And remember Andy
- 12:22Speaker 1: was basically their boss. He was paid their salary, so
- 12:26Speaker 1: they had to play. There's no question that they could
- 12:30Speaker 1: not answer. Is their boss. He's in charge of whether
- 12:33Speaker 1: or not they come back for another season, and so
- 12:36Speaker 1: because of that, they all had to bow down. And
- 12:39Speaker 1: that's what made the show so outrageous. He could ask
- 12:41Speaker 1: them anything. If I asked a housewife what Andy asked him,
- 12:45Speaker 1: oh my goodness, they would walk out of an interview.
- 12:47Speaker 1: But they have to answer. And Andy's asking because he's
- 12:50Speaker 1: the boss, and he decides their future, even if he
- 12:54Speaker 1: humiliates them, makes fun of them. Really, and he has
- 12:56Speaker 1: done this on the show. He's put people in the
- 12:58Speaker 1: warfall positions. Well, Andy got into the habit of asking
- 13:01Speaker 1: these outrageous questions that he thought were witty and charming,
- 13:05Speaker 1: and they sort of were, except Oprah Winfrey ain't on
- 13:08Speaker 1: his payroll. So Oprah was a big deal. She was
- 13:10Speaker 1: one of the first celebrities that had nothing to do
- 13:13Speaker 1: with Bravo to agree to go on, and it was
- 13:16Speaker 1: a very respectful interview, except at the end he asked
- 13:20Speaker 1: her if she'd ever quote taken a dip in the
- 13:24Speaker 1: Lady Pond. Well, Oprah looked at him and said, quote, no, no,
- 13:28Speaker 1: I have not, Thank you now. Later, Gale King, her
- 13:32Speaker 1: best friend, explained to Andy that Oprah didn't even know
- 13:35Speaker 1: what he was talking about. Have you taken a dip
- 13:38Speaker 1: in the Lady Pond? If somebody asked me that, I
- 13:41Speaker 1: don't know if I would get it right away. It's
- 13:44Speaker 1: not a question that you think you're going to be asked,
- 13:46Speaker 1: and it's a very personal question, and it's an odd
- 13:48Speaker 1: way of phrasing it, isn't it. I would say, have
- 13:51Speaker 1: you ever slept with a woman? Have you ever slept
- 13:53Speaker 1: with a man? Have you ever slept with That's how
- 13:55Speaker 1: I had phrased it. But Andy said, have you ever
- 13:56Speaker 1: taken a dip in the Lady Pond? Oprah said no,
- 13:59Speaker 1: But Gail said she didn't really know what she was
- 14:01Speaker 1: talking a while he was talking at bout and then
- 14:04Speaker 1: Andy has admitted that I'm such a fan of Oprah
- 14:06Speaker 1: and it meant so much to have her on the show,
- 14:08Speaker 1: and it was going brilliantly, and then I asked her
- 14:11Speaker 1: if she'd had sex with the woman. I mean, couldn't
- 14:13Speaker 1: I leave it alone? No, you couldn't, and it you
- 14:16Speaker 1: got to. You gotta be careful on this in life,
- 14:18Speaker 1: haven't you. I've been known to push things too far too.
- 14:21Speaker 1: It's a fine line between being cheeky and funny and
- 14:24Speaker 1: being mean or rude. I hate rudeness, but I love cheekiness,
- 14:28Speaker 1: and so it's a line I'm constantly thinking about it.
- 14:30Speaker 1: That was once an example when Andy crossed it. Okay,
- 14:33Speaker 1: moving along, John bon Jovi has been spotted on his
- 14:36Speaker 1: son's Jake's honeymoon with his daughter in law Milly Bobby
- 14:42Speaker 1: Brown and so they're inside Dinnia. He was spotted shirtless
- 14:46Speaker 1: looking fine, may I add, lounging in a chair with
- 14:49Speaker 1: his wife Dorothea next to him and his son, the
- 14:53Speaker 1: newlyweds Jake and Millie. What do you think would you
- 14:57Speaker 1: take your parents on your hoabymoon? Would you watch your
- 15:01Speaker 1: mom and dad bed? And one of my friends that
- 15:03Speaker 1: maybe he's paying like Jake is a model, not a
- 15:08Speaker 1: terribly successful one. Yet we know Millie has a lot
- 15:11Speaker 1: of money. She's a big TV Star, but they don't
- 15:14Speaker 1: have John bon Jovin money, so maybe the dad's paying.
- 15:16Speaker 1: So you know what, Mum and dad, if you're listening,
- 15:18Speaker 1: Gallowa loo loo. If you want to pay for me
- 15:20Speaker 1: and Bruce to go on vacation, come and join us too. Okay,
- 15:25Speaker 1: we're going to take a quick break here, we will
- 15:27Speaker 1: be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but No
- 15:32Speaker 1: Show'm your host, Rob Shooter. Thank you for co hosting
- 15:34Speaker 1: today Naughties. Let's get to the polls dot does if
- 15:38Speaker 1: you sing along? Okay. Last show, we talked about Brandy Glandsville,
- 15:42Speaker 1: who was one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,
- 15:45Speaker 1: explodes at Bravo and defends Kenya Moore amid a sex scandal.
- 15:52Speaker 1: So Kenya has been fired from Bravo over showing explicit
- 15:56Speaker 1: pictures of another person on the show, almost like red Inge.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Porln brother said no, we can't have this. Well, Brandy's
- 16:02Speaker 1: fighting back, saying, I think Kenya was put up by
- 16:05Speaker 1: a producer. She didn't just pull out pictures. These pictures
- 16:08Speaker 1: had to be printed, they had to be brought to
- 16:10Speaker 1: the venue. All this stuff is carefully planned, and I
- 16:13Speaker 1: remember Brandy was on the Real Housewife show for a
- 16:16Speaker 1: really long time, so she knows how this works. I
- 16:18Speaker 1: gotta admit here, I was not there, but a few
- 16:21Speaker 1: episodes of The Housewives that I've been part of that
- 16:23Speaker 1: I've taped were really carefully planned. Nothing was that spontaneous.
- 16:29Speaker 1: The producers were everywhere. They were on ear pieces, cameras
- 16:34Speaker 1: were everywhere. You had to check in. They wanted to know,
- 16:36Speaker 1: beat by beat what was happening. And so I do
- 16:39Speaker 1: agree with Brandy here. The chance of this just happening,
- 16:43Speaker 1: of Kenya just really doing something awful, let's be honest,
- 16:47Speaker 1: is not that strong. The producers were most likely involved
- 16:52Speaker 1: in all this, and now she's getting all the blame
- 16:55Speaker 1: where she's like, I told you about this, so she's
- 16:58Speaker 1: defending her. Our question was, is Brandy right? What do
- 17:03Speaker 1: you think? Eighty two percent said yes, she is. Brother
- 17:07Speaker 1: seems to sometimes want it both ways. They want the
- 17:09Speaker 1: outrageous content, they want all the viewers, they want all
- 17:12Speaker 1: the clicks online, but then when they cross that line,
- 17:14Speaker 1: they're like, ohh nothing to do with us. This was
- 17:17Speaker 1: the Housewives. We have to fire the cast. No, Brother,
- 17:21Speaker 1: you are complicit to say the least. Okay, don't forget
- 17:24Speaker 1: to vote on today's poll. Go to our Twitter page
- 17:27Speaker 1: add Naughty nise Rob or our Facebook page, which is
- 17:30Speaker 1: Naughty Gossip, and be sure to check back tomorrow to
- 17:33Speaker 1: hear your results. And now it's time for our Nicest
- 17:38Speaker 1: over the Day. Taylor Swift and Simone Biles are our
- 17:42Speaker 1: nicest of the Day. So Simone is dancing away as
- 17:45Speaker 1: doing her fabulous floor routine to a Taylor Swift song.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Ready for It? Well this was posted on x and
- 17:53Speaker 1: Taylor Swift saw it and wrote, quote, watch this so
- 17:57Speaker 1: many times and still on read She's ready for it.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Though she is ready. She is going to be going
- 18:04Speaker 1: to the Paris Olympic seeing her. She's amazing the world's
- 18:09Speaker 1: greatest gymnasts, and she's ours, She's American. It is so exciting.
- 18:15Speaker 1: I love it. I love it, I love it, and
- 18:16Speaker 1: I love that your routine is to Taylor Swift. Now
- 18:21Speaker 1: I know it is the day Nony, Naughty, Naughty, Oh
- 18:23Speaker 1: Jalo and Ben So it looks like he's moved all
- 18:25Speaker 1: his things out of their sixty million dollar house. She's
- 18:28Speaker 1: back from her vacation in Europe. She looks pretty tense.
- 18:32Speaker 1: She was spotted grabbing lunch with her sixteen year old
- 18:35Speaker 1: child Emmy in Beverly Hills. This is a mess. This
