  Speaker 1: Good morning. Let's start our day right the best way

  Speaker 1: possible by spending some time with God. Time with God

  Speaker 1: just means you're hanging out with God by opening up

  Speaker 1: your Bible and saying, God, talk to me. I know

  Speaker 1: this is your word. I know you have given it

  Speaker 1: to us because you want to show us what you

  Speaker 1: are like, and more than that, you want to take

  Speaker 1: the things that are written in there for all time.

  Speaker 1: And use them in my life specifically for my time

  Speaker 1: for my day to day and give me some spiritual
• 0:40
  Speaker 1: truth that will change my life. I want to build
• 0:42
  Speaker 1: my life around you, God. And when you do that
• 0:45
  Speaker 1: and you start to read, God speaks to you through
• 0:48
  Speaker 1: the Bible, and then you stop and you say, Oh, God,
• 0:52
  Speaker 1: here's what I'm thinking. I see what you're saying to me,
• 0:54
  Speaker 1: and you cannot respond to God and talk to Him
• 0:57
  Speaker 1: about what He's saying to you.
• 0:59
  Speaker 1: You express your feelings to Him, not just beautiful, good feelings,

  Speaker 1: but whatever you're feeling, if you're mad at someone, if
• 1:05
  Speaker 1: you're mad at God, just talk to God about it,
• 1:08
  Speaker 1: and then interact with Him and let Him impact on
• 1:11
  Speaker 1: your way of thinking and seeing life, responding to God.
• 1:15
  Speaker 1: That kind of interaction shapes your life and changes you.

  Speaker 1: So let's read a passage today. Remember we're talking about
• 1:22
  Speaker 1: biblical love this week. I want to read you a
• 1:25
  Speaker 1: couple of verses out of Hebrews chapter 13 in the Bible.

  Speaker 1: The writer says through Jesus then let us continually offer

  Speaker 1: up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is the

  Speaker 1: fruit of lips that give thanks to His name. Acknowledge

  Speaker 1: to God constantly what He is doing in your life.

  Speaker 1: Don't take credit for the things happening in your life.

  Speaker 1: Acknowledge God. Thank Him. Praise Him for His goodness to you.

  Speaker 1: He goes on, and do not neglect doing good and sharing,

  Speaker 1: for with such sacrifices God is pleased. So not only

  Speaker 1: express your thankfulness to God, but God also wants to
• 2:12
  Speaker 1: see you expressing love to the people around you in life.

  Speaker 1: You know, the basis for that again is what God

  Speaker 1: has already done for you, that you have received God's love,

  Speaker 1: that you've acknowledged it, you've said thank you God for
• 2:28
  Speaker 1: your love for me, and that's a big hurdle for
• 2:31
  Speaker 1: some people who feel guilt, who feel like God must
• 2:34
  Speaker 1: not like me, to stop and say Jesus died for
• 2:38
  Speaker 1: me when I was still a sinner.

  Speaker 1: He loves me no matter what's going on in my life,
• 2:43
  Speaker 1: and God, I accept your love for me. When your
• 2:47
  Speaker 1: love needs are filled up by Jesus Christ, then you're
• 2:52
  Speaker 1: free not to be so worried about getting acceptance from
• 2:57
  Speaker 1: the people around you.

  Speaker 1: Uh, that's not, uh, a beautiful thing. I mean, if,

  Speaker 1: if you're not a Christian and you're there with a
• 3:05
  Speaker 1: Christian listening to this, you nod your head if it
• 3:08
  Speaker 1: bugs you when Christians try to act like everything's peachy, great, and, uh,
• 3:13
  Speaker 1: all of that when you know they're living a real
• 3:16
  Speaker 1: life just like the rest of us. You don't like that,
• 3:18
  Speaker 1: do you? What you want is real people who aren't
• 3:21
  Speaker 1: just trying to always do what is gonna make you
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: think positively about them. What you want.

  Speaker 1: Is people who are not focused on themselves but people
• 3:31
  Speaker 1: who love you.
• 3:33
  Speaker 1: Well, you want that in your life, and you want
• 3:36
  Speaker 1: to be that kind of person to other people, and
• 3:39
  Speaker 1: the way you can be a giver of love is
• 3:42
  Speaker 1: when love is overflowing in your life because you have
• 3:47
  Speaker 1: received and accepted God's love for you. Let God meet
• 3:51
  Speaker 1: your love needs. Build your relationship with God, and then
• 3:55
  Speaker 1: love will overflow from your life, and your life will
• 3:57
  Speaker 1: be so attractive and beautiful to people around you, and
• 4:00
  Speaker 1: what your life will do is point them to God.

  Speaker 1: Because God is the source of love and life.

  Speaker 1: Have you built your life around him? It's the only
• 4:12
  Speaker 1: way to become a true lover of others and not
• 4:17
