- 0:55SPEAKER_01: Like this, this is where it's at here.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: I know we're staring straight down the fourth weekend.
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: But everything it's like, oh my gosh, can we all just take one minute and go?
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: Can we have a normal day?
- 1:06SPEAKER_01: Just normal.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, a normal day, but you know, we got to get ready because we're we're not gonna be here on Friday.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: No.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: And with that being said, that means there's no birthday wheel that's gonna happen on Friday, which we usually do only Fridays, 7:30.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: And I thought, you know what?
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: Scott's not here on Friday.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna get a winner this past week.
- 1:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you always think that, and I'm like, nah, it's gonna happen when I'm here if it's gonna happen.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: And it did not happen.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: I was watching that phone like a hawk.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: I'm like, come on, ring.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: Ring, ring.
- 1:34SPEAKER_01: Now remember, it's the day, month, and year.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: So this week it's gonna go on hold, but the money's gonna sit at$742.
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: So it's just sitting right there.
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: So I'm answering Natalie's question Hey, did you guys get a winner on the birthday wheel?
- 1:45SPEAKER_01: No.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: Uh, and uh, but it it it the money's there.
- 1:49SPEAKER_01: It's there.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: Yes, and we want to give it to you thanks to Hesselsons, but we'll have to wait another week on that one.
- 1:55SPEAKER_01: Oh, wow.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: Mel Brooks turned a hundred years old yesterday.
- 1:59SPEAKER_01: That's from our friend uh 3386 from Blazing Saddles and uh the Bean Campfire.
- 2:05SPEAKER_01: This came up last week on the show.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: Yes, we were laughing about this.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: That that guy's a hundred, so is Dick Van Dyke.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: So also there is a Mel Brooks documentary.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: I haven't seen this yet, but it's I think it's on Netflix.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: No, it's on HBO Max.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: And it's called Mel Brooks, the 99-year-old man, which is now the hundred-year-old man.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: But it's gonna have to make a sequel.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: I wonder if he's like holding out for that Spaceball 2 sequel.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: I believe he's in it too.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: Right, right.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: But you know how I mean not that he, I'm not saying I want him to die or that he's close to it, but you know how like certain people will hold out.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: Oh, sure.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: And I wonder if that's what he's holding out for.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: He's like, I gotta see the sequel.
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: That that could be.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: I mean, because I think didn't they finish and Bill Pullman's in that, isn't he?
- 2:45SPEAKER_01: I believe so.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah, right up the street in Hornell.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah, not John Candy.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: No, no, John Candy.
- 2:50SPEAKER_01: That would be well, maybe as a force ghost.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: Or he like that.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: A little hologram, yes.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: Yes, they could AI him.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: Uh, then we also had this one, and this is what I love, and this is what we always encourage.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: Good everyone, happy Monday from Ocean City, Maryland.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: We always say, okay, so you're not here.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: You can still listen to us everywhere if you go on vacation.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: Just take that app with you, and you can listen on demand in real time or the Not For Air podcast.
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: Uh, and then we got to finish that message.
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: I guess uh is it her daughter Maddie and her competition team are competing at Dance Nationals.
- 3:23SPEAKER_01: Have a great day.
- 3:24SPEAKER_01: Well, good luck to you.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: Oh, good vibes for that.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: This is your dancing song.
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: It isn't very long.
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: Do a twirl!
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: Wait a sec.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: Wait a second.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: Because we definitely need to do that.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: We have a listener who has a birthday today.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: We're gonna get to that here in a second.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: But good vibes for that.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: And also we have a regular listener, 3490, who's going under the knife today.
- 3:43SPEAKER_01: Oh boy.
- 3:44SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: It's just cataracts artery.
- 3:46SPEAKER_01: Oh God, that's great.
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: I mean, you will be amazed.
- 3:51SPEAKER_01: You're gonna be because I I did this, what, two years ago?
- 3:54SPEAKER_01: Life changing.
- 3:55SPEAKER_01: And then all of it, it's all it's all a computer that does it.
- 3:59SPEAKER_01: Like the doctor's in there, it's all a robot.
- 4:01SPEAKER_01: Isn't that crazy?
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: And and I I I don't want to ruin like everything for you, but they'll give you the they'll give you the happy juice and uh in an IV.
- 4:09SPEAKER_01: And uh if you ask for seconds, they will.
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: And then it's the weirdest sensation because you can see light, but you can't see light.
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: You can sense the brightness, but obviously your eyes have been folded back.
- 4:20SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 4:20SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, oh yeah.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: Yep, yep.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: That along with Lydia having a tooth flopping around in the breeze.
- 4:25SPEAKER_01: I'm I'm running, my knees are buckling.
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: We're gonna get to that too.
- 4:28SPEAKER_01: And uh so it, but then they'll put it back down.
- 4:31SPEAKER_01: The rest of today, you won't really see much, but then tomorrow you're gonna wake up, you're gonna be like, oh my lord.
- 4:36SPEAKER_01: It's the wildest experience.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: I had because I've never had this done, but I said, I assume it's probably when I saw her yesterday, I assume it's probably like the Wizard of Oz.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: It goes from black and white, and then all of a sudden, once you get to the color part, then it's it's like a whole new world.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: And she said the doctor said it was going to be much brighter.
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: Yes, that's what I was gonna.
- 4:54SPEAKER_01: I was just gonna say that.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: I noticed the brightness change.
- 4:57SPEAKER_01: For me, the colors were a little more vibrant for a while.
- 5:00SPEAKER_01: You get used to that real quick.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: But I can also understand, too, being a little nervous today.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: Anytime you go into a surgery, I think that you just get nervous.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: So that's why I was like, you know, we gotta send good vibes to 3490.
- 5:10SPEAKER_01: That was the only time I've ever had a surgery myself when I did it.
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: I've never had anything.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: I feel like, and maybe I I'm I'm not remembering this right.
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: I feel like I remember you being nervous about it.
- 5:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because I didn't know what it was gonna be like.
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: Also, you wonder is that robot gonna slip and all of a sudden, you know, suck your eyeball right out?
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: I was gonna say it, but then I was like, maybe I shouldn't.
- 5:29SPEAKER_01: Actually, you make the sound.
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, there it goes, rolling across the floor.
