- 0:00Speaker 1: Coming up on Relatables Baddies book Club. He goes, that's it, Nesta.
- 0:04Speaker 1: He accentuated each word with a savage thrust. Do I
- 0:07Speaker 1: feel good to you? She whimpered her confirmation, then managed
- 0:10Speaker 1: to say, I like it when you ride me hard.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Every time I move my body is sore. She had
- 0:16Speaker 1: to fight for words for control. I think of you,
- 0:19Speaker 1: of your cock good. I want my cock to be
- 0:22Speaker 1: the only thing you think about. That's cold. His face falted, sorry,
- 0:26Speaker 1: his pace faltered as he licked up the column of
- 0:28Speaker 1: her neck. She could hear the taunting smile in his
- 0:32Speaker 1: words as he whispered, because your pretty little cunt is
- 0:36Speaker 1: the only thing I think about, all right? And then
- 0:44Speaker 1: welcome to Relatables Baddies book Clubs, where we will embark
- 0:47Speaker 1: on a journey reading some of the finest pieces of
- 0:50Speaker 1: literature you have ever laid eyes or he is if
- 0:52Speaker 1: that's your preferred way to consume a book.
- 0:54Speaker 2: On what quart of silver flames?
- 1:00Speaker 1: Sixty one to the end? Jake, right, it's over. I've
- 1:07Speaker 1: been terrified to record this because we it's over after this,
- 1:13Speaker 1: after we record this, this is the last bit of
- 1:15Speaker 1: immersion into the Aqaitar world. It is that's good. That's good,
- 1:19Speaker 1: that's funny. There there we go. So let's open the book.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Oh what was in there? That's my book? Hey, so baddies,
- 1:33Speaker 1: we finished the book.
- 1:34Speaker 2: We finished the book being transparent. We said one hundred
- 1:39Speaker 2: comments on Patreon and we will do it.
- 1:42Speaker 1: We don't know if we're there yet, but last I checked,
- 1:45Speaker 1: it was fifty six.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Yeah, after eight hours. So we're doing our due diligence
- 1:50Speaker 2: and doing it. And I know a lot of people
- 1:52Speaker 2: will like, you're going to miss We're going to rush
- 1:54Speaker 2: some of the chapters because it's the Sarah J. Mass
- 1:56Speaker 2: effect and so much happened, which it dead, which I'm
- 1:58Speaker 2: kind of annoyed about. But we're not going to miss
- 2:01Speaker 2: it in our recaps.
- 2:01Speaker 1: No, we're gonna do it. We're gonna go in depth
- 2:03Speaker 1: is possible. I'm going to talk quickly, all right, No, no, no, no,
- 2:06Speaker 1: I don't okay, I don't rush it radio, but I
- 2:08Speaker 1: do want to start trying to talk talk quickly, that
- 2:12Speaker 1: talk normally. Yeah, I'll talk normally. I got something that'll
- 2:18Speaker 1: be a cheeky little Patren exclusive. So if you want
- 2:20Speaker 1: to listen to what it's like to read out the
- 2:23Speaker 1: comments of a funny post that says, be honest, what's
- 2:26Speaker 1: the most unrealistic thing about spicy scenes in books? Then
- 2:29Speaker 1: head over there? Nothing? Okay? So oddie, how do you feel?
- 2:36Speaker 1: I feel good? Look?
- 2:38Speaker 2: To be honest, I felt rush reading it. It was
- 2:43Speaker 2: hard to.
- 2:46Speaker 1: What same. It was hard to follow the storyline it went.
- 2:51Speaker 3: It was going like Nestor Kessian's point of view, Nesta Cassian,
- 2:55Speaker 3: and then it was just like together and now we're
- 2:57Speaker 3: here and now we're there, and then we got to
- 3:00Speaker 3: we got a lame story. No, then we got it's
- 3:03Speaker 3: just a bit of everything it was.
- 3:09Speaker 1: It felt I wasn't lost, but it felt like it
- 3:13Speaker 1: was all over the shop.
- 3:14Speaker 2: It did look I was happy with the storyline. But
- 3:19Speaker 2: you said it to me yesterday when we're talking about
- 3:20Speaker 2: which I resonated.
- 3:21Speaker 1: With, was could have been a whole another book. Here's
- 3:24Speaker 1: what I don't like, right, I really don't like how
- 3:28Speaker 1: so the queen, you know, evil Asrael is not allowed
- 3:36Speaker 1: to even spy on her anymore like Koshy Death God
- 3:40Speaker 1: Woo who woo who Like they were not in the
- 3:44Speaker 1: book at all until they were and then they just weren't. Yeah,
- 3:51Speaker 1: I know, they just take them out like that. And
- 3:53Speaker 1: I also feel like Sarah J.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Mass does such good world building and making like Reese
- 4:00Speaker 2: and the Illyrians seem like this prestigious thing and they're
- 4:04Speaker 2: the best warriors ever. And then like I don't want
- 4:07Speaker 2: to take away from what they did, but it just
- 4:09Speaker 2: seemed like, oh, we can do it. Yeah, Like it
- 4:11Speaker 2: didn't like it was hard, but it wasn't like the
- 4:13Speaker 2: fucking in my head, it was like this impossible task.
- 4:17Speaker 2: And then, like the world building, it took five books
- 4:19Speaker 2: to make me really understand it, and then within three
- 4:21Speaker 2: chapters these three had done it.
- 4:23Speaker 1: And I'm like, I'm blood right, I'm proud, Yeah, the
- 4:25Speaker 1: blood right, And I was.
- 4:26Speaker 2: I was, I was like the storyline, but it felt
- 4:28Speaker 2: like they could have made the Blood write the whole
- 4:30Speaker 2: fucking book of how hard.
- 4:32Speaker 1: It was without just running around. Yeah it was. I
- 4:36Speaker 1: gotta say. It got to a point where I was like,
- 4:41Speaker 1: I'm just gonna fit. I just need to finish this
- 4:43Speaker 1: right now. I just need to.
- 4:44Speaker 2: I think that's also why we read the twenty chapters,
- 4:46Speaker 2: because no exactly effect, but that's how we're feeling. That's
- 4:51Speaker 2: how we're feeling.
- 4:53Speaker 1: It's hard as well, because I don't know how to
- 4:54Speaker 1: write a book, you know, I don't know. I don't
- 4:57Speaker 1: know what a better ending could have been.
- 4:59Speaker 2: What's it called when like you're on the couch and
- 5:02Speaker 2: you're watching like a sports team and you give advice, uh,
- 5:07Speaker 2: back seat coaching?
- 5:08Speaker 1: Yeah, something back seat book, right, Yeah, like lounge lounge
- 5:12Speaker 1: athlete or something like that. Everyone also was saying how
- 5:14Speaker 1: much they loved this book. I want to genuinely know
- 5:17Speaker 1: in the comments, how much did you guys love the
- 5:20Speaker 1: end of the book.
- 5:21Speaker 2: To be fair, this is probably my favorite, but I'm
- 5:24Speaker 2: going to get it was a nine until the ending,
- 5:26Speaker 2: and I'm going to give it like a.
- 5:27Speaker 1: But we've said that about every single one. I feel
- 5:29Speaker 1: like we said that about every book so far, like
- 5:31Speaker 1: it's so good, so good, but the ending kind of
- 5:33Speaker 1: just felt rushed and could have been better. Like a war, Yeah,
- 5:37Speaker 1: it was the same.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Actually, ak a math bro I know, w yeah, Akata.
- 5:43Speaker 2: It was kind of giving Game of Thrones such a
- 5:45Speaker 2: good series last season sucked.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Yeah. Also, I couldn't tell you what the next book's
- 5:52Speaker 1: going to be out at what I think As You
- 5:54Speaker 1: was the point of As You Were a lane. But
- 5:57Speaker 1: let's go through it, Okay, Chapter sixty one. So Nesta
- 6:03Speaker 1: has decided she's gonna try and conquer these stairs again
- 6:06Speaker 1: because she's like, the first time didn't count because I
- 6:09Speaker 1: was pissed and I was fueled by anger. I was
- 6:11Speaker 1: kind of thinking it still counts. I was counting it.
- 6:13Speaker 1: So she goes again and she talks about the mental clarity,
- 6:16Speaker 1: and she's just just getting through these steps one thousand,
- 6:19Speaker 1: two thousand and three thousand, not even faltering. Four thousand,
- 6:22Speaker 1: five thousand, I'm gonna get through this, six thousand and
- 6:24Speaker 1: seven thousand, I'm going to do it, eight thousand, nine thousand,
- 6:28Speaker 1: ten thousand steps down. She's done it all right. And
- 6:30Speaker 1: then she's like, I could literally just go into any
- 6:34Speaker 1: tavern and drink as much wine as I want right now.
- 6:36Speaker 1: No one would stop me. But Cassi ends upstairs waiting
- 6:40Speaker 1: for me because we have the staff fall party. It
- 6:44Speaker 1: was like, who the fuck decides to walk down the
- 6:47Speaker 1: ten thousand steps when they're about to go to a
- 6:49Speaker 1: staff wall party. Prove it to herself? Man, didn't we
- 6:52Speaker 1: knew that was gonna happen. She didn't want to dream.
- 6:55Speaker 1: We can see that from the very first time. So
- 6:58Speaker 1: up she Goesah, there you go. She goes back up.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Cassie's waiting for her. She's crawling to the top by
- 7:06Speaker 1: the time she gets back from stock right, she gets up,
- 7:08Speaker 1: Cassie picks her up. They're gonna make sweet sweet love
- 7:11Speaker 1: before they go in, or maybe not. I think they
- 7:13Speaker 1: were kissing and stuff. Everything about them is sweetweet love
- 7:15Speaker 1: to me though. So they were kissing and he's talking
- 7:17Speaker 1: about you know, everyone, the party started a while ago.
- 7:20Speaker 1: You're late, She goes, I had something to do. Obviously
- 7:22Speaker 1: she gets something in there. She's still in her sweaty,
- 7:24Speaker 1: gross clothes. All right, everyone's up. Star War party. We
- 7:27Speaker 1: remember what staff All is, right, it's a big once
- 7:30Speaker 1: a year, all the stars come down. Everyone gets powdered
- 7:32Speaker 1: on and shit or get like comed on by the
- 7:34Speaker 1: stars and stuff. So everyone's kind of cheering. So we're
- 7:38Speaker 1: all going. She's looking around. She's like, this is absolutely amazing.
- 7:43Speaker 1: She sees all her She sees like asrieal more all that.
- 7:46Speaker 1: I was gonna say friends and I really are friends.
- 7:48Speaker 1: But she sees everyone right, and then she goes over
- 7:52Speaker 1: and she is she's standing there. She sees Amron right. Personally,
- 7:59Speaker 1: I don't think Amoron does a forgiveness so Nesta gets
- 8:02Speaker 1: down on one knee and she begs Amon for forgiveness.
- 8:06Speaker 1: She's so sorry, I used you, I used your kindness
- 8:09Speaker 1: and I used it against everyone and I use it
- 8:11Speaker 1: against you and I'm so sorry and all this stuff, right,
- 8:15Speaker 1: And I still I think Amron was a bitch. She
- 8:18Speaker 1: was a but hey, oh well maybe Nesta bigger person.
- 8:21Speaker 1: There you go. So then we find out that Nesta, right,
- 8:28Speaker 1: So Amern and her makeup and Amron's kind of like
- 8:30Speaker 1: welcome back to the night court and stuff, and she's
- 8:34Speaker 1: very happy, and you know, they're all friends again. And
- 8:36Speaker 1: so then I'm not one hundred percent sure how they
- 8:39Speaker 1: get onto the top topic of conversation, but Amron just
- 8:43Speaker 1: randomly talks about how she how Nesta made the house
- 8:49Speaker 1: and She's like what And Amron's like I can see it,
- 8:52Speaker 1: Like she's like I can feel it. She's like, you
- 8:54Speaker 1: brought the house alive. It wasn't like this before you
- 8:58Speaker 1: came here. And she's like, with your how are you
- 9:00Speaker 1: literally brought it to life? You made it sentient NESSA
- 9:03Speaker 1: was like, what what the hell? And so Ameron goes, yeah,
- 9:07Speaker 1: like what was the thing you wished for the most
- 9:09Speaker 1: when you came here and she goes, oh, well, I
- 9:11Speaker 1: mean I think I would have set out loud just
- 9:13Speaker 1: to be left alone. But I think what I really
- 9:15Speaker 1: wanted was a friend. And I was like, wow, that's depressing.
- 9:18Speaker 1: That's sad, right, And then the house turned into her friend,
- 9:22Speaker 1: and I was thinking that is sad, right. I was thinking, like,
- 9:26Speaker 1: it's almost like it's imaginary. Yeah, sad, sad.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Sad shows like how much she was going through in
- 9:33Speaker 2: the hardship she was in that that's all she wanted.
- 9:36Speaker 1: True, I got to say, in terms of character development,
- 9:39Speaker 1: Nesta had more character development in one book than Farah
- 9:41Speaker 1: had over like four so pretty touching on that. I
- 9:44Speaker 1: don't like how like we can all admit had her problems.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Now she's like this queen who's an all righteous being
- 9:53Speaker 2: and does no wrong and all her decisions are perfect,
- 9:55Speaker 2: Like where did she come from?
- 9:57Speaker 1: I know who two books ago? Who was going to
- 10:01Speaker 1: Fara for advice? You know, it's also been a year.
- 10:04Speaker 2: And a half, I know exactly, and like she's with
- 10:08Speaker 2: every situation, she seeds it for exactly how it is.
- 10:10Speaker 1: In before she was like so had tunnel vision. Farah
- 10:14Speaker 1: as soon as she's not the main character in the book.
- 10:17Speaker 1: She doesn't have main character syndrome because main character syndrome
- 10:20Speaker 1: is like narcissism. Right, as soon as she's not the
- 10:23Speaker 1: main character, no more main character syndrome. Yeah, and I
- 10:25Speaker 1: kind of miss Farah's point of view, like give me
- 10:27Speaker 1: a little bit. I kind of missed fair being slightly toxic.
- 10:30Speaker 1: She had to. You can't just go from one side
- 10:32Speaker 1: to the completely honest though, grasses those green because when
- 10:35Speaker 1: she was being toaskin annoying, we were like, Fair is
- 10:36Speaker 1: annoying us. Yeah, but it made it more interesting.
- 10:40Speaker 2: I hate now she's just like this all rightous being
- 10:42Speaker 2: and whenever Nessa comes in, Phara is just like does
- 10:44Speaker 2: no wrong.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Yeah. And also she just like cuts Nessa so much
- 10:47Speaker 1: slight because she loves her and stuff. I would so
- 10:49Speaker 1: if like Joanna was that much of a bitch, I'd
- 10:51Speaker 1: be like, you know what, death be on you. I
- 10:55Speaker 1: actually don't think could kill Nessa if he tried. Cool
- 10:58Speaker 1: maybe now sixty two, I think that this is only
- 11:05Speaker 1: like a couple of days away, So there's no this
- 11:08Speaker 1: is like a couple of days later. This is not
- 11:09Speaker 1: the same night. They're kind of chilling and it might
- 11:14Speaker 1: be on the same night. I can't fully remember, but
- 11:16Speaker 1: a red star is seen blasting across the sky, all right,
- 11:20Speaker 1: and that's a bad omen and the priestesses are all
- 11:24Speaker 1: kind of like, oh no, no, something bad is happening.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Something bad is happening. And apparently even Reese was like
- 11:30Speaker 1: very shook by it. So oh, you know, in hindsight,
- 11:35Speaker 1: now we know why the star.
- 11:38Speaker 2: I was just thinking that that, yeah, that's a bit
- 11:40Speaker 2: so it was breadcrumbing fair, but this is this is
- 11:43Speaker 2: like you can't not see it?
- 11:45Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, So even everyone's kind of like, wow,
- 11:48Speaker 1: what the hell, like whatever? Cool, And so Nesta and
- 11:53Speaker 1: Cassie and they receive a letter from Eris and he
- 11:56Speaker 1: needs to meet like right away in the middle, right
- 11:59Speaker 1: near the mountain, and they're kind of saying, okay, well
- 12:02Speaker 1: that's really weird, but oh well that's the one that
- 12:06Speaker 1: Reese was obviously trapped under and the whole all of Priythian.
- 12:09Speaker 1: And so when they get there, Eiris is his fine
- 12:11Speaker 1: and dandy old self, and he's kind of been a
- 12:16Speaker 1: bit weird here there, and then he starts to talk
- 12:19Speaker 1: to Farah about not Farah Nesta about how it's really
- 12:23Speaker 1: weird the Three Peaks there's three bold peaks, and a
- 12:27Speaker 1: bold peaks means like a peak a big mountain that's
- 12:30Speaker 1: just come out of nowhere, no other mountains around it.
- 12:32Speaker 1: So there's the mountain in the middle, it has a
- 12:34Speaker 1: palace in the middle. There's the Court of Nightmares. Oh sorry, no,
- 12:38Speaker 1: there's the prison. That's another bold peak and it's got
- 12:41Speaker 1: the prison in there, and obviously something else because of
- 12:44Speaker 1: the harp. And then there's Ramuel. And Ramuel is the
- 12:46Speaker 1: mountain that the Allyrians are as a sacred to the Ellyrians,
- 12:49Speaker 1: and so they've never ever gone into venture into the
- 12:52Speaker 1: mountain to see if there's like a big palace in there,
- 12:55Speaker 1: and apparently Aris finds it a bit weird. So Aris
- 12:59Speaker 1: goes on to say, I needed to meet with you
- 13:02Speaker 1: very quickly because my dad he just went back to
- 13:04Speaker 1: meet Bryan Allen without telling me he was going to
- 13:07Speaker 1: meet Brillen. He just got back, and I think that, like,
- 13:10Speaker 1: whatever's gonna happen is gonna happen very soon. And so
- 13:14Speaker 1: they're thinking, okay, shit, He's like yeah, like Nesta, they're
- 13:17Speaker 1: just waiting for you to get the harp. And Nesta goes, oh,
- 13:21Speaker 1: I just realized we never told Eris that we found
- 13:23Speaker 1: the fucking harp and he sees on her face he goes, oh,
- 13:25Speaker 1: you have it. And so then they get in this
- 13:27Speaker 1: you know, piecy fit argument about like how they forgot
- 13:31Speaker 1: to tell him and stuff, and apparently Cassian's been like
- 13:33Speaker 1: a beast in this. He's being like very calm, very collected,
- 13:36Speaker 1: and Nessa's kind of like, oh, I've never heard him
- 13:38Speaker 1: use his voice before. I'd like to use it. I'd
- 13:40Speaker 1: like him to use it in the bedroom and stuff.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Cassian's getting under Eris's skin and stuff. I don't know.
- 13:45Speaker 1: I think he's kinda just being really because you know,
- 13:48Speaker 1: how to start, when Cassian was first being a courtier,
- 13:52Speaker 1: he was just he sucked at it. They needed to
- 13:54Speaker 1: show that he could do it. And then when they leave,
- 13:57Speaker 1: Nessa's like, where was where'd that come from? You know,
- 13:59Speaker 1: because he picks up go flying back home. She's like,
- 14:01Speaker 1: where'd that come from? Me goes, honestly, I just pretended
- 14:04Speaker 1: I was you the whole time, and I was like,
- 14:05Speaker 1: that was pretty smooth. That was pretty smooth. That's a
- 14:09Speaker 1: good compliment. And they land in the middle of Larus,
- 14:12Speaker 1: right and they start going for a walk and she's like, oh,
- 14:17Speaker 1: so he's holding her hand, he leans down brushes a
- 14:20Speaker 1: kiss over her neck, and she goes, She's kind of like,
- 14:22Speaker 1: what you know, what are you doing? He's like, I
- 14:25Speaker 1: want everyone to see it. I want everyone to see
- 14:28Speaker 1: that we're sharing a bed. I don't care anymore. I
- 14:29Speaker 1: want to shout outrom the rooftop. So I want to shout.
- 14:31Speaker 1: And so she's kind of a little stand offish and
- 14:35Speaker 1: he's kind of like, what's wrong with you? And then
- 14:39Speaker 1: I started getting a little argument, and I'm not entirely
- 14:44Speaker 1: sure I think he goes, ah. She she's kind of like,
- 14:50Speaker 1: is me being with you going to affect how people
- 14:53Speaker 1: see me because you're the general of the high Lord's armies?
- 14:56Speaker 1: And so he says who cares? And she goes, I care,
- 14:58Speaker 1: and then they start to go. He's like, Nesta, we
- 15:04Speaker 1: are you know, you know what we are right, and
- 15:07Speaker 1: she's kind of like what what you go say it?
- 15:10Speaker 1: At this point I was like, what is it? Yeah?
- 15:12Speaker 1: I was like what is it? I know it was mates,
- 15:14Speaker 1: see like I thought he was. I was thought he
- 15:15Speaker 1: was a friend to that, but I was also like,
- 15:17Speaker 1: there's been no revelation moment. Yeah, I know it was
- 15:20Speaker 1: kind of out of nowhere, out of the blue, and
- 15:21Speaker 1: so he's gone, say it, and she's like, what say?
- 15:25Speaker 1: What say? He's a fucking say it and I was
- 15:27Speaker 1: like Jesus demanding, but whatever. Then he goes, so we're
- 15:30Speaker 1: fucking mates, Nesta, and then she's kind of like not
- 15:34Speaker 1: accepting it, and he's like, we literally are mates.
- 15:38Speaker 2: He's kind of highlights commitment. Yeah, and that scares Nesta.
- 15:43Speaker 1: So she's a little bit scared. He's like, what are
- 15:45Speaker 1: you scared of? And so she goes on to say
- 15:48Speaker 1: like because she she obviously wants to be mates, but
- 15:51Speaker 1: they he gets out of her. What she's scared of
- 15:53Speaker 1: is the fact that she's She's like, it's just a word,
- 15:57Speaker 1: you know. I don't I don't care about that. I
- 15:59Speaker 1: just want to be with you, Like it's just a word.
- 16:01Speaker 1: He's like, what's wrong. Talk to me? Talk to me.
- 16:03Speaker 1: She goes, If I start accepting it, that means that
- 16:05Speaker 1: I'm no longer human. I have no more human left
- 16:07Speaker 1: in me. This man zero and he goes, I thought
- 16:09Speaker 1: you I thought you wanted to be a fake. I
- 16:12Speaker 1: thought you liked it. She goes, yeah, but I don't
- 16:14Speaker 1: have a choice, and then he goes, well, I don't
- 16:16Speaker 1: have a choice to be shackled to you either, and
- 16:18Speaker 1: then of course she takes that like to be fair
- 16:20Speaker 1: bad wording, and of course she's like I felt that
- 16:23Speaker 1: down to my bones and shit like that. And then
- 16:25Speaker 1: she's all fucking livid that he's like, I'm shackled to you,
- 16:28Speaker 1: and he straight away he goes, that was a portress
- 16:30Speaker 1: of wording, nest like come on, come on, come on,
- 16:32Speaker 1: And so then this part pisces me off. All right,
- 16:37Speaker 1: They get in this argument and then she goes, I
- 16:40Speaker 1: can't fucking be near him right now, and she calls
- 16:43Speaker 1: in her favor. Oh this was the worst use o
- 16:46Speaker 1: my god. Oh so the favor ever, so she's she's
- 16:51Speaker 1: so he's groveling, trying to be like, oh no, I
- 16:53Speaker 1: didn't mean that. I didn't mean that. She's going, now,
- 16:57Speaker 1: fuck you, all right, how fucking dare you say you're
- 16:59Speaker 1: shackled me? Even though she wants the mating, wants the mating,
- 17:02Speaker 1: and then he just slips up one word and he
- 17:03Speaker 1: straight away he goes, oh no, sorry, that was the
- 17:05Speaker 1: wrong wording, like you know what I mean, like blah
- 17:07Speaker 1: blah blah, like we're mated, like it's a thing that's
- 17:09Speaker 1: a bond, and so she straight away goes, I'm gonna
- 17:13Speaker 1: call in my bargain. I want you to go to
- 17:16Speaker 1: the House of Wind and wait for me to come
- 17:19Speaker 1: and talk to you, and if a week passes, that's
- 17:23Speaker 1: when you can leave. I was like, we can't come
- 17:27Speaker 1: to me for a week. Yeah, you can do what
- 17:28Speaker 1: ever you want, but you can't come to me for
- 17:29Speaker 1: a week. What this is stupid?
- 17:32Speaker 2: And and the writing of what happens next, he was like, oh, okay,
- 17:36Speaker 2: now Cassie's not going to find out what happened to
- 17:37Speaker 2: him and I. But we we had such a creative
- 17:40Speaker 2: strategy to use yeah, the favor or use the bond
- 17:45Speaker 2: or whatever, and just like that, the bargain, the bargain.
- 17:49Speaker 1: B I had the best strategy. We thought she was
- 17:52Speaker 1: going to be an absolutely animal. Yeah. We thought that
- 17:54Speaker 1: she was going to go into some very very dangerous,
- 17:57Speaker 1: dangerous thing that she really wanted to do to save
- 17:59Speaker 1: the fucking Prithian and she was gonna go kill Koshi
- 18:02Speaker 1: and ship. And he was gonna say, no, I would
- 18:04Speaker 1: not let my mate go. And she was gonna say,
- 18:06Speaker 1: I'm calling in my bargain, you'll let me go bitch,
- 18:09Speaker 1: and she was just gonna go fuck shit up. We
- 18:11Speaker 1: were Valkerie group girls and ship we should should So
- 18:16Speaker 1: he's obviously like he feels the bargain staffing into place.
- 18:19Speaker 1: He goes to Lunda to give her a hug, and
- 18:21Speaker 1: he in the bargain holds him back. He flies up
- 18:24Speaker 1: to that, Yeah, Taddy's gone. He flies up to the
- 18:26Speaker 1: house right, So so he flies up to the house
- 18:30Speaker 1: and then she gets more to winnow her to Emory's place,
- 18:32Speaker 1: and she goes into Emory's place like Mare, doesn't ask
- 18:34Speaker 1: any questions and more fucks off. She goes into Emory's
- 18:37Speaker 1: place and then she just collapses on the floor crying,
- 18:39Speaker 1: and then he picks her up. They have dinner. Gwinn
- 18:41Speaker 1: comes and randomly just leaves the fucking library never left
- 18:47Speaker 1: it apart from training. But more Winnows win in and
- 18:52Speaker 1: so then they're staying there. They're talking and stuff, and
- 18:55Speaker 1: they're like going through everything. They're just having a girl's night.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Together and maybe playing Devil's advocate. It was part of
- 19:02Speaker 2: the Vakarie's sense of she knew Nesta.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Need her true. They go on to say the craziest
- 19:08Speaker 1: thing about this is Gwyn, You've left the fucking library. Yeah,
- 19:10Speaker 1: And so then she goes, yeah, let's not talk about it.
- 19:13Speaker 1: I'm actually kind of freaking out, all right, And I
- 19:14Speaker 1: was like, okay, valid.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:16Speaker 1: So then they decided to stay at Emory's place and
- 19:20Speaker 1: they're about to go to sleep and Nesta gets into
- 19:22Speaker 1: bed at Emory's house and she's in her nightgown and
- 19:24Speaker 1: she's like, all right, I'm gonna go to sleep and
- 19:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna wake up. I'm gonna go talk to Cassie
- 19:28Speaker 1: and I'm going to tell him I want all of it.
- 19:29Speaker 1: I want to be a made I want everything. I'm
- 19:31Speaker 1: going to tell him I'm so sorry. I'm going to
- 19:32Speaker 1: beg for forgiveness and stuff. I was thinking, oh my
- 19:34Speaker 1: fucking god, bro go there now, I know, why would
- 19:40Speaker 1: you stay at an Ollyrian camp where they think you're
- 19:42Speaker 1: a witch? Yeah?
- 19:45Speaker 2: Honestly, it was given like reminiscence of like Belly and Conrad.
- 19:50Speaker 1: To be honest, it's just.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Like I can't admit my feelings to you, and then
- 19:54Speaker 2: as soon as i'm away, I'm.
- 19:55Speaker 1: In love with you. I know, I love you so much.
- 19:57Speaker 1: We're mates. I was like, you knew this beforehand? Well,
- 20:01Speaker 1: I have to hurt his feelings to know it. So
- 20:04Speaker 1: then in the middle of the night, three Illyrium males
- 20:08Speaker 1: come in and steal Emery, Nesta, and Quinn. This was
- 20:12Speaker 1: my reaction, This was me. I was like this. I
- 20:16Speaker 1: was like, oh my god. So fuck. We're on chapter
- 20:23Speaker 1: sixty three and it's thirty minutes in. We're fucked up.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Then three chapters chapter sixty three there's only one line early.
- 20:35Speaker 1: So Cassie wakes up and he said, he's like, I'm
- 20:39Speaker 1: gonna have to teach Nesta how to word bargains because
- 20:41Speaker 1: I can very easily work around this bad boy in
- 20:43Speaker 1: terms of, like I know how to get to her.
- 20:45Speaker 1: So he gets Reese and more to winnow him to
- 20:49Speaker 1: where to Emory's place, and they go in and straight
- 20:51Speaker 1: away as soon as they land, so not more just
- 20:54Speaker 1: Reese and so straight away they land and Reese goes
- 20:57Speaker 1: they're not in there. They bag the fucking there. They
- 21:00Speaker 1: go through the rooms. There's been a struggle. There's blood
- 21:02Speaker 1: and they can smell males and everything. They're like, what
- 21:04Speaker 1: the fuck is going on? And then they're like wait, no,
- 21:08Speaker 1: no no no no no no no no no no
- 21:09Speaker 1: no no no no no, no, no, that they wouldn't
- 21:13Speaker 1: do that. The girls have been swept away in the
- 21:17Speaker 1: night to go and partake in the blood right. I
- 21:22Speaker 1: was pissed about this. I was pissed too.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Like we said before, I liked how the three girls
- 21:28Speaker 2: kind of like, yeah.
- 21:29Speaker 1: No facts. I liked that they didn't want to do it.
- 21:32Speaker 1: How they were like, yeah, we can go if we want,
- 21:34Speaker 1: but we want to be valkyries. Yeah, we don't need
- 21:36Speaker 1: that to be valued. We find value in ourselves.
- 21:39Speaker 2: I know it's and I guess we find out that
- 21:41Speaker 2: it was not the Illyrians who did it actually, so
- 21:45Speaker 2: like it makes sense.
- 21:46Speaker 1: But also at this point in time reading, I was like,
- 21:47Speaker 1: come on, it's very, very, very annoying, but I want
- 21:51Speaker 1: So Nesta wakes up right, she's been knocked out by
- 21:55Speaker 1: like horse tranquilizer or some shit. So she wakes up
- 21:59Speaker 1: surround by Olirian's like a couple hundred and she's thinking, oh,
- 22:05Speaker 1: she realized, she goes, fucking hell, you're joking me. She's
- 22:08Speaker 1: just in a nightgown. Yeah, And so they've all been dumped.
- 22:11Speaker 1: She can't feel any magic, she can't feel like she
- 22:13Speaker 1: just feels like a human again. And so she wakes
- 22:16Speaker 1: up first, and she goes, shit weird, well uh, And
- 22:19Speaker 1: she wakes up and she's like just stunned, thinking what
- 22:22Speaker 1: the fuck do I do? And so then she notices
- 22:26Speaker 1: another male, big ass motherfucker bro he wakes up. He's
- 22:31Speaker 1: like ha ha ha your mind. Then she sees him
- 22:35Speaker 1: look at a knife. She goes a knife. This whole time,
- 22:38Speaker 1: by the way, I just was like, I'm I am
- 22:40Speaker 1: so oblivious. So there's a knife, and I was and
- 22:42Speaker 1: she's going, that's they're not allowed to have knives. They're
- 22:45Speaker 1: not allowed to have weapons. They're supposed to make everything
- 22:48Speaker 1: is meant to be a hand on hand combat, hand
- 22:50Speaker 1: in hand combat. If you make a weapon out of
- 22:51Speaker 1: wood or rock or whatever, it's fine, But like this
- 22:54Speaker 1: supposed to be nothing out of you. How's there steal
- 22:56Speaker 1: out here? And so she goes, fuck, what do I do?
- 22:59Speaker 1: Do I go for the knife or do I go
- 23:03Speaker 1: for the Do I run away from him? And then
- 23:09Speaker 1: m Here's what's annoying about it all right, is in
- 23:14Speaker 1: the chapters, they don't do chapter for chapter. In the
- 23:18Speaker 1: chapters they switch from Cassian and Neesta from Cassie and Nesta, right,
- 23:22Speaker 1: So back to Cassian even explaining it sounds confusing. It
- 23:26Speaker 1: does sound confusing, right, So back to Cassian. Now, there's
- 23:30Speaker 1: a law regarding the blood right where regardless, So if
- 23:34Speaker 1: you're in the blood right, you're in it. If anyone
- 23:36Speaker 1: tries to tamper and get you out, the person that
- 23:38Speaker 1: tries to get you out, and the person that gets
- 23:40Speaker 1: out is hunted down and killed. For the rest of
- 23:43Speaker 1: their existence, they are hunted. So Reese can't change the laws.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Amone can't change the laws. No one can change the laws.
- 23:49Speaker 1: So the three girls they're stuck there. Cassian especially can't
- 23:54Speaker 1: do anything because he's the general of the Illyrians, so
- 23:56Speaker 1: the whole entire army would fall a part if he interfered.
- 24:00Speaker 1: He really wants to, and then they all come in.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Cassie's like, you know, I'm just gonna have to chill
- 24:07Speaker 1: here and wait for like, I'm just gonna, I don't know,
- 24:10Speaker 1: try and watch. I have no idea. But then they go,
- 24:13Speaker 1: I've got some bad news. Sorry, mate, You're gonna be
- 24:16Speaker 1: busy for the next couple of days because Eric got
- 24:18Speaker 1: captured by bray Allen. He's like, fuck off, what are
- 24:20Speaker 1: you talking about? And then Briese goes you and as
- 24:23Speaker 1: have to go get him. He goes, why don't you
- 24:25Speaker 1: go get him? What are you talking about? You go
- 24:27Speaker 1: fucking get him? And he's like, I can't. Pharaoh goes, yeah,
- 24:30Speaker 1: he can't. He's like, why can't Reese go? Reese? You're
- 24:33Speaker 1: literally Reese broke, like, what are you talking about? I
- 24:34Speaker 1: understand why Farah can't go, but Reese, why can't you go?
- 24:37Speaker 1: The fucking mates in the blood Road? Why you make
- 24:38Speaker 1: a me go? I was like, valid and then kill me.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Everyone's there eyes a couple. We didn't clock on it.
- 24:47Speaker 1: I know, everyone's like, sit down. I'm gonna sit down.
- 24:54Speaker 1: The reason I can't go is because Pharah and I
- 24:56Speaker 1: made a bargain that we would die together. So if
- 25:01Speaker 1: I go and I die, Fary dies and so does
- 25:04Speaker 1: the baby. And then the Cassie's like, so does that
- 25:07Speaker 1: mean that when Farah has the baby, if she dies,
- 25:11Speaker 1: you don't And everyone's like fuck, and so everyone's just like,
- 25:15Speaker 1: holy fucking Amroon goes, why would you do this? Because
- 25:19Speaker 1: Amron's gone, who the fuck makes a bargain to do that?
- 25:23Speaker 1: And I was also thinking, actually, who the fuck does
- 25:27Speaker 1: make a bargain to do that? That was the most
- 25:29Speaker 1: selfish bargain anyone's ever made, because what about when you
- 25:31Speaker 1: have kids?
- 25:31Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I guess they weren't planning in the future.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Especially Re should have known that Pharaoh didn't have the
- 25:36Speaker 2: pelvist to berth and a leein. He should have known that. Obviously,
- 25:40Speaker 2: Farah is unbeknownst to it all.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Okay, he's okay. So Farah turned into an Olirian when
- 25:48Speaker 1: she got pregnant. I mean, every single part of her
- 25:50Speaker 1: turns Olirian. Right, she falls pregnant, Like after the sex,
- 25:53Speaker 1: she turns back human, she falls No, fay, she falls pregnant,
- 25:56Speaker 1: right she realized she's pregnant. And then Mahja's like, don't
- 26:00Speaker 1: do any sort of shape shifting just in case it
- 26:03Speaker 1: hurts the baby. All right, I'm thinking, how about you
- 26:07Speaker 1: just fucking shape shifting to an Ollirian once? All right,
- 26:10Speaker 1: take the risk, because then if it works out, you're
- 26:15Speaker 1: literally gonna be fine. You can have the baby. You'll
- 26:18Speaker 1: have it a Lyrian anatomy. Yeah, exactly. Loopholes, mat loopoles.
- 26:22Speaker 1: I don't even think of that. Oh well, there's a
- 26:24Speaker 1: few holes.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Comes back to that fantasy thing we said a few
- 26:29Speaker 2: episodes ago where just read open minded and don't try
- 26:33Speaker 2: and find the plot.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Yeah exactly, Yeah, I dig too much. Read it from
- 26:38Speaker 1: what it is, and that's all whatever it will be. Yeah,
- 26:41Speaker 1: fair fair, So oh my god. So they're all like,
- 26:46Speaker 1: what the fuck is going on? And then Cassian's going,
- 26:49Speaker 1: fuck this, Eric can die. I don't care, honestly, he
- 26:51Speaker 1: got captured. Let him fucking die. Game is the fucking game.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Why do I have to go save him? Then they're
- 26:56Speaker 1: basically convinced him to go save him, right, excuse me?
- 27:01Speaker 1: So they're all, fuck. I think they're thinking that he
- 27:05Speaker 1: can't be put under the spell of the Crown that
- 27:07Speaker 1: bray Allen has because he has been given the maid Dagger.
- 27:11Speaker 1: They don't really know for sure, but okay, back to Nesta.
- 27:15Speaker 1: So Nesta goes for the knife, same as the other male.
- 27:20Speaker 1: She gets there, he body checks her bro they go
- 27:23Speaker 1: tumbling down a hill, bon boom, getting fucked up, right,
- 27:27Speaker 1: and then they get to the bottom of this creek
- 27:28Speaker 1: bed and then he's on top of her, but he's
- 27:31Speaker 1: not moving because guess what's in his throat? The knife
- 27:34Speaker 1: she got it whips him off, takes his clothes. Everything's
- 27:39Speaker 1: too big for her. Oh yeah, I've heard a funny
- 27:42Speaker 1: she was in her nightgown. Yeah, but i'd ask naked
- 27:44Speaker 1: for some of this, by the way. Yeah. So she's
- 27:48Speaker 1: on the tread, she's going to look for her friends.
- 27:50Speaker 1: She notices that her bracelets that they made together at
- 27:52Speaker 1: this lumber party, if she's going one, so there's she
- 27:55Speaker 1: she goes this way it's glowing, and she goes that
- 27:57Speaker 1: way it's not glowing. That means this way one of
- 27:59Speaker 1: her friends is in trouble, all right, And the magic
- 28:01Speaker 1: that the blood Right just so happens to damper doesn't
- 28:04Speaker 1: work on these things because they just you have to
- 28:06Speaker 1: be very specific when you're using a magic spell.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Well also because they probably didn't think the Vakkery's magic
- 28:12Speaker 2: for three fay women would be a thing in the
- 28:15Speaker 2: very true blood right, very true.
- 28:17Speaker 1: So she's going along and out of nowhere, she's on
- 28:21Speaker 1: her own. She wakes up before the other alias right,
- 28:23Speaker 1: and so she kills that one. She's gone along, but
- 28:25Speaker 1: then a couple more of worken up and she's an
- 28:27Speaker 1: arrow swings past her face, okay, and so she's like,
- 28:32Speaker 1: holy fuck, now there's arrows out of here, there's bow
- 28:35Speaker 1: and arrows and shit. She goes back. She takes it
- 28:36Speaker 1: out of the tree to have like an arrow as
- 28:37Speaker 1: a weapon. She goes to like to see where it
- 28:39Speaker 1: came from. She like is like ducking down, gets over
- 28:42Speaker 1: this little hill and then just in her face arrow.
- 28:45Speaker 1: The war is like, get the fuck up. All right,
- 28:49Speaker 1: So this is all very cool. It was giving Hunger games. Yeah,
- 28:53Speaker 1: it was given Hunger games. To be fair, the Blood
- 28:54Speaker 1: Right's given major younger games. But it was cool. I
- 28:56Speaker 1: was thinking, this is same. Yeah.
- 28:58Speaker 2: And the dramatized audio, all the voices of all the
- 29:00Speaker 2: Illyrians was cool.
- 29:01Speaker 1: Yeah, true, true, true, true true. And now back to Cassian. Sorry,
- 29:05Speaker 1: guy's confusing, but he's just flying over with Asrael or
- 29:09Speaker 1: the Queen's castle, and he's like, I want to go in.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Asriel says, we're not going in. Tell I'm telling you
- 29:16Speaker 1: right now, it's more watered than Vilarus. All right, we're
- 29:18Speaker 1: not going in there. We have to wait for them
- 29:20Speaker 1: to leave and then we have to track them. They
- 29:23Speaker 1: argue whatever. Chapter sixty six, the Illyrium warrior that Nessa
- 29:29Speaker 1: has run into. So the warrior is like, give me
- 29:32Speaker 1: your weapons to Nesta, and she gives him the error
- 29:36Speaker 1: and she's slowly starting to give him weapons, and then
- 29:39Speaker 1: she's like abow. She's like kind of bowing as if
- 29:41Speaker 1: she's like surrendering, but she's still got the knife in
- 29:43Speaker 1: her hand. She's about to put it down, and then
- 29:45Speaker 1: she just flings it and she throws it into his groin,
- 29:47Speaker 1: right into his balls. Bro And so then what did
- 29:50Speaker 1: his nuts? Yeah? She says he's nuts. Oh was it?
- 29:52Speaker 1: I just thought it was late. Yeah, he's growing swhere
- 29:55Speaker 1: she spoke about his nuts. I was thinking, like groin, Yeah, true,
- 29:57Speaker 1: you could be right. She flings it up into his
- 29:59Speaker 1: nuts or some shit. He's kind of like, wow, falls down,
- 30:03Speaker 1: she jumps up. He kicks it even further again, Wow,
- 30:07Speaker 1: that's what he did. And so then she's runs off
- 30:13Speaker 1: and she hears a whole bunch of males talking, right,
- 30:15Speaker 1: she kind of creeps up and they're talking about that
- 30:17Speaker 1: bitch all right, and they're talking about I'm pretty sure
- 30:21Speaker 1: Emory because they said all that one like they said,
- 30:23Speaker 1: like that crippled bitch, which is Emory because of her wings.
- 30:27Speaker 1: And so they talk about how so she got away
- 30:30Speaker 1: from them. They were gonna kill her, but she got
- 30:31Speaker 1: away using the creek and the creep that She's like
- 30:34Speaker 1: near a creek right and she goes down. She goes,
- 30:36Speaker 1: fuck it. She follows downstream. She's looking for Emory. She
- 30:39Speaker 1: finally gets down to the edge of where there's like
- 30:41Speaker 1: a big ass waterfall. She goes, fuck. Hopefully she didn't
- 30:43Speaker 1: go down there, else she'll be dead. She sees her
- 30:46Speaker 1: out in the middle, stuck to like a tree branch.
- 30:49Speaker 1: She's not moving, she doesn't even look conscious. Nesta, striped naked,
- 30:54Speaker 1: goes into the creek. It's freezing cold. She goes, She
- 30:58Speaker 1: retrieves Emory, gets her bite the river bank and she
- 31:01Speaker 1: lights a fire. Put like she's chilling. She's like, fuck,
- 31:04Speaker 1: you know, it's like it's a mid day. I gotta
- 31:07Speaker 1: It's like, I gotta find shelter. I can't be out
- 31:10Speaker 1: here when the beasts start roman So she's thinking, fuck, okay.
- 31:14Speaker 1: She hides amoryunder some leaves because she's still unconscious. She
- 31:18Speaker 1: goes for a walk. She's looking for caves. She said,
- 31:20Speaker 1: there's caves in your rivers. That's what Cassie and told me,
- 31:22Speaker 1: because the water does it. She's looking around, looking around,
- 31:26Speaker 1: looking around, can't find one. And then she hears a
- 31:27Speaker 1: voice saying the entry's over here. She's like, fuck, it's
- 31:31Speaker 1: an Allirian male. Not the biggest of guys, but he's
- 31:34Speaker 1: an Allian male, and so she's like fuck. She's freaking out,
- 31:37Speaker 1: and then he goes, look, I'm not gonna hurt you.
- 31:39Speaker 1: You know, I know who you are, and i'd be
- 31:40Speaker 1: an idiot to fucking kill you. And so she goes, hey,
- 31:43Speaker 1: fucking He's like, yeah, I assume the reason you're not
- 31:45Speaker 1: in a tree yet is because you have a friend.
- 31:46Speaker 1: So you're gonna have to go get your friend. You're
- 31:48Speaker 1: gonna have to bring in this cave. So he helps her.
- 31:51Speaker 1: They go in the cave, they're chilling. They hear monsters
- 31:53Speaker 1: and stuff. This is the first night and they just
- 31:56Speaker 1: hear throughout the night Allyrian warriors are just getting eaten
- 31:59Speaker 1: up by monsters and I was like, what monsters are these? Yeah,
- 32:02Speaker 1: and why do they just live purely there?
- 32:04Speaker 2: Yeah, but they could smell them apparently, that's why they
- 32:07Speaker 2: were picking them out of the trees.
- 32:08Speaker 1: So they survived the night in the cave and the
- 32:10Speaker 1: next day. Old mate, Ollyrian guy. I think he seems
- 32:13Speaker 1: like Bothazar or some shit. He fucks off. What happened
- 32:16Speaker 1: I don't know mentioned again because yeah.
- 32:18Speaker 2: I thought he was going to come back at the
- 32:19Speaker 2: very end and like save nest or help And I
- 32:21Speaker 2: was like, he's coming.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Not mentioned again? Never again? I thought I missed something. Yeah,
- 32:25Speaker 1: so do I. Yeah. I was like, wow, not mentioned again.
- 32:28Speaker 1: So he bugs off and then she goes out and
- 32:30Speaker 1: she finds more clothes from all the dead Delirians that
- 32:32Speaker 1: have been killed and brings them back for Emory, and
- 32:35Speaker 1: Emory wakes up, what about the yourself comment?
- 32:38Speaker 2: I had to find somewhere they didn't have blood on
- 32:40Speaker 2: them from all the fighting.
- 32:41Speaker 1: But also they ship themselves when they saw the beasts. Yeah,
- 32:44Speaker 1: they all died when they were getting killed. They all
- 32:46Speaker 1: pooed their pants and ship relatable. So she comes back,
- 32:52Speaker 1: Emory's awake, She's like, all right, we need to go
- 32:54Speaker 1: find Gwinn. Now they both go out there on the
- 32:58Speaker 1: hunt for Gwynn. They're finding some more weapons and stuff
- 33:00Speaker 1: from these dead Alirians and then they get to a
- 33:02Speaker 1: point where so they're following their glowy wrists singeran and
- 33:05Speaker 1: they go and they find that they hear a bunch
- 33:09Speaker 1: of males again, and they see a camp and tied
- 33:11Speaker 1: up in a tree is Gwinn's nightgown, and they're thinking, fuck,
- 33:15Speaker 1: is she dead? So they go they creep up. They say, okay, Nesta,
- 33:20Speaker 1: you poke your head out because my wings will be seen,
- 33:22Speaker 1: so Nest to poke your head. She's like, fuck, okay.
- 33:24Speaker 1: So there's ten of them. They've got this, they've got this,
- 33:25Speaker 1: they've got this, and she looks around. Emory gone. A
- 33:28Speaker 1: couple of Olirians fucking dragged her down the hill. So
- 33:30Speaker 1: then she goes down, both of them captured. It's Bellius,
- 33:34Speaker 1: Emory's cousin. Yeah, of course, the county cousin. This guy
- 33:38Speaker 1: was a cee. You went he was a fucking dickhead. Yeah,
- 33:41Speaker 1: because their plane was food too.
- 33:43Speaker 2: He was wasn't He's also a fucking weapons.
- 33:46Speaker 1: He's actually a beast. He would he seems like a beast.
- 33:48Speaker 1: He was untouched. He was to be fair untouched. Yes,
- 33:51Speaker 1: So they're all about, there's ten of these motherfuckers, and
- 33:55Speaker 1: he's like, herere here. I thought that that nightgown would
- 33:58Speaker 1: get you guys. You guys aren't dumb. This is gonna
- 34:01Speaker 1: be great, but I'm pretty sure. So Neston notices that
- 34:06Speaker 1: Bellius is all glassy eyed and shit, and it's the
- 34:11Speaker 1: same as those Autumn Court soldiers. So she's thinking, fuck
- 34:16Speaker 1: did he did he get fucking, you know, influenced by
- 34:20Speaker 1: Briy Allen, and so she's like putting two and two together.
- 34:24Speaker 1: She's like, fucking ell Brian Allen infiltrated the oliriums and
- 34:27Speaker 1: that's why there's weapons in here and shit, and she's like,
- 34:30Speaker 1: why would she do that. She's thinking she can't think
- 34:33Speaker 1: of as to why she would do it, but she
- 34:34Speaker 1: did it. And so she realizes that Bellius is under
- 34:37Speaker 1: the influence of Brian Allen and thinking Okay, fucking we
- 34:41Speaker 1: need to get out of here. They accept death, and
- 34:44Speaker 1: then out of nowhere some big ass fucking cat like
- 34:49Speaker 1: lion whatever, like tentacles or something. Yeah, they're about to
- 34:53Speaker 1: get like full some guy with the swords about to
- 34:56Speaker 1: chop one of their heads off, and then his guts
- 34:58Speaker 1: just go flying every and they're thinking what the fuck.
- 35:01Speaker 1: All the Ollyrians are thinking shit, okay, they all get
- 35:03Speaker 1: in formation there's this big scary cat and then Gwynn goes, hey,
- 35:08Speaker 1: I'm over here, fucking know. Quinn goes, yeah, I woke
- 35:12Speaker 1: up and was in the blood right fox some shit
- 35:16Speaker 1: up and then I realized where these monsters sleep and
- 35:20Speaker 1: apparently they hate being woken up, so just let them
- 35:24Speaker 1: loose on these Motherfuckers's my favorite. Gwinn's A B's Days,
- 35:27Speaker 1: He's so cool. Chapter sixty eight. They spend the night
- 35:30Speaker 1: in the Inner Tree and Gwynn shows them how she's
- 35:32Speaker 1: used to treat it, make help arrest and shit tie
- 35:35Speaker 1: themselves up there with ropes. Then they have a suss out.
- 35:38Speaker 1: They can see ramule in distance and they're like, okay,
- 35:39Speaker 1: it's gonna take a couple days to give there. That
- 35:41Speaker 1: gives us a day to climate and that would be
- 35:43Speaker 1: and we can only climb it on the quickest path,
- 35:45Speaker 1: and that's the annulous path or some shit like that.
- 35:47Speaker 1: They say, what's the annulous path or like Annalius or
- 35:50Speaker 1: some shit. And so Emery goes on to say about
- 35:54Speaker 1: the history of Allyrians, how they used to be suppressed
- 35:58Speaker 1: by those like people that are sorry, the fee that
- 36:02Speaker 1: were like lanthis and she knew it because of a
- 36:04Speaker 1: brother and a father. Yeah, wouldn't shout up about it.
- 36:06Speaker 1: So there was this whole thing that back in the day,
- 36:10Speaker 1: one of the first Ollyrian warriors held his own up
- 36:13Speaker 1: on the mountain and he used this path that is
- 36:16Speaker 1: now called the annulous Path, or they call it the
- 36:19Speaker 1: Breaking or some shit, because it was a very sketchy
- 36:23Speaker 1: path to take up the mountain. And he held his
- 36:25Speaker 1: own for like three days against the whole army and
- 36:27Speaker 1: he saved their species or some shit, And so now
- 36:31Speaker 1: the whole blood right is dedicated to honor him. Right,
- 36:34Speaker 1: So they're thinking, wow, this is fucking insane. Now the
- 36:39Speaker 1: next day, they're just treading along. Now, all right, they're chilling,
- 36:43Speaker 1: going for walk. It's going to take a long long time.
- 36:47Speaker 1: So they see a bridge in the distance, but they
- 36:49Speaker 1: also see some males in the distance. They all they
- 36:52Speaker 1: both look at the bridge and they're like, okay, we're
- 36:53Speaker 1: obviously the first one to see this bridge, because whoever
- 36:56Speaker 1: crosses this bridge would have just cut it and not
- 36:58Speaker 1: let anyone else pass. So they start running to the bridge.
- 37:02Speaker 1: They realize they're not gonna make it, so they have
- 37:03Speaker 1: to go fight the males. They go in, they do
- 37:06Speaker 1: some sick Valkyi shit, and they fuck these males up.
- 37:08Speaker 1: They win, all right, but now there's another group of
- 37:10Speaker 1: males with arrows. So they run. They get to the
- 37:14Speaker 1: bridge right Gwinn is behind. She gets shot by an
- 37:18Speaker 1: arrow she gets go, you have to go. You have
- 37:20Speaker 1: to cut the rope. Cut the rope, cut the rope,
- 37:22Speaker 1: cut the rope, and they're like, we're not leaving you.
- 37:23Speaker 1: We're not leaving. They do some sick ass shit where
- 37:26Speaker 1: they Emmery and Nestice to the other side of the bridge.
- 37:28Speaker 1: They tie themselves to a tree or some shit, and
- 37:30Speaker 1: then Nesta like shoots an arrow over to Gwinn and goes,
- 37:34Speaker 1: fucking tie this around yourself, starts running across the bridge.
- 37:36Speaker 1: She gets halfway across the bridge. They cut it all
- 37:38Speaker 1: right because these males are coming. She's like fucking goes.
- 37:41Speaker 1: She hits the massive ravine wall. They pull her up
- 37:44Speaker 1: and shit, they're all like bloodied and stuff from the whatever,
- 37:47Speaker 1: and they survive and they're thinking, fucking up. It's crazy.
- 37:50Speaker 1: Then they go stay in another tree, right, and this
- 37:53Speaker 1: is when they start talking about the history of you.
- 37:56Speaker 1: They both talk about their past. Gwinn says, two years ago,
- 38:00Speaker 1: I was chilling in my temple right with my sister,
- 38:04Speaker 1: who I've known since birth. And obviously I was chilling
- 38:09Speaker 1: with my sister, and she like talks about sister me
- 38:10Speaker 1: and like hectic and stuff. And I always looked at
- 38:13Speaker 1: her She was a strong one, and so she goes, yeah,
- 38:15Speaker 1: I was raped two years ago by a high burned general.
- 38:18Speaker 1: And what happened was they sacked our temple. They were
- 38:21Speaker 1: looking for something. They come in. My sister runs in
- 38:24Speaker 1: and says, save the children. She goes back. Her sister
- 38:27Speaker 1: goes back to go help all the other priestesses. Quin
- 38:30Speaker 1: goes to save the children and she goes gets the children,
- 38:33Speaker 1: she puts them down in this basement. She can't get
- 38:34Speaker 1: in the basement on her seat on her own without
- 38:36Speaker 1: actually hiding the children, so she puts a rug over
- 38:38Speaker 1: the floor where the basement door was. She turns around
- 38:41Speaker 1: and the soldiers are there. They've got like a ship. Yeah,
- 38:45Speaker 1: they've got her sister by like the hair and shit,
- 38:47Speaker 1: and they go where's the children? And Gwinn's like, I
- 38:49Speaker 1: don't know what you're talking about. They fucking ran. They
- 38:51Speaker 1: took the mountain path to go get help. And he's like, lie,
- 38:54Speaker 1: where's the fucking children. He goes and he's like, I'll
- 38:57Speaker 1: fucking kill your sister if if you don't tell us,
- 39:01Speaker 1: and she's like, I told you that. She's like, they
- 39:04Speaker 1: took the fucking mountain path. Yea all right, this motherfucker
- 39:08Speaker 1: beds her sister right in front of her, all right,
- 39:11Speaker 1: and then he goes and then he goes, this one's mine,
- 39:14Speaker 1: rapes her all right. When he's done, he says to
- 39:18Speaker 1: his soldiers, keep on going, all right, finish what I started.
- 39:23Speaker 1: Until she talks. And as soon as one of the
- 39:25Speaker 1: soldiers was about to go rape her, it's when Azrael
- 39:27Speaker 1: comes in. Azrael just comes in, flips his shit and
- 39:30Speaker 1: kills everyone. More comes in, Reese comes in, Boom, everyone's dead,
- 39:35Speaker 1: and then More and Reese take Gwinn to the library.
- 39:39Speaker 1: That's why she's been to the library. And so Gwynn
- 39:41Speaker 1: can't forgive herself because she can't keep herself like she
- 39:45Speaker 1: can't save her sister, So how can she says her fault? Yeah,
- 39:48Speaker 1: And so then Emory goes on to say her past,
- 39:52Speaker 1: her dad was abusive, always like beating her mum and
- 39:55Speaker 1: then beating her and then snips her wings. And she
- 39:57Speaker 1: had a very very very difficult life. And everyone used
- 40:01Speaker 1: to love her dad and say you have such a
- 40:02Speaker 1: good father. And she's like, what the hell, I don't
- 40:04Speaker 1: have a good dad, but he apparently I have a
- 40:06Speaker 1: great dad. And so she triks about hers, and then
- 40:09Speaker 1: Nesta goes on to say, well, I just drank and
- 40:14Speaker 1: fucked anything inside, all right, and your motherfucker are gonna
- 40:17Speaker 1: hate me for this, but that's all I did for
- 40:19Speaker 1: the last two years. My dad died. I couldn't save him.
- 40:22Speaker 1: My sisters used to like go out in the woods
- 40:24Speaker 1: and ship. They just all talk about their bad histories
- 40:27Speaker 1: and and then they all just become even closer. Yeah,
- 40:30Speaker 1: it was kind of beautiful.
- 40:31Speaker 2: Yeah, well it was beautiful trauma and it was Yeah,
- 40:35Speaker 2: I think it was a depictive of how tightly knit
- 40:38Speaker 2: they are now.
- 40:38Speaker 1: Yeah, and so then at the end of it, Nesta goes,
- 40:41Speaker 1: you know what, let's go fucking win this thing. Fuck this,
- 40:43Speaker 1: let's fuck off everyone. This. Before she was like let's hide.
- 40:47Speaker 2: Yeah, and they're like literally two chapters go, let's hide
- 40:49Speaker 2: and let's just let this thing go.
- 40:51Speaker 1: This is under the mountain. And now she's like, now
- 40:53Speaker 1: let's do it. She's like, all right, let's fucking that
- 40:55Speaker 1: might be later, Actually, yeah, I think that's later because
- 40:58Speaker 1: she goes, let's go, let's fucking win this thing. Because
- 41:00Speaker 1: they're at the base of No, no, it's right now,
- 41:02Speaker 1: they're at the base of Ramule right now. And the
- 41:05Speaker 1: reason that they talk about the history is because Emry goes, well,
- 41:08Speaker 1: we've made it to the base of Ramule. Not many
- 41:10Speaker 1: even make this, make it this far. We could go
- 41:13Speaker 1: hide and we will just be sweet. Once dawn comes,
- 41:17Speaker 1: we'll have our magic back. Will heal, will Reesell come
- 41:19Speaker 1: get us or some shit like we're chilling. And that's
- 41:21Speaker 1: when and that's when Gwinn goes, no funck that, let's
- 41:23Speaker 1: do this thing. They'll talk about the histories, and that's
- 41:25Speaker 1: when Nesta goes, yeah, let's go win this thing, all right.
- 41:27Speaker 1: So Cassie and Asriel fly around this castle for four days, bro,
- 41:33Speaker 1: all right, Now, finally a caravan leaves and it's got
- 41:37Speaker 1: Airis and bray Allen call it the ca Ca the
- 41:41Speaker 1: cara and so like a wagon, but they caught it
- 41:45Speaker 1: the caric. Yeah. So a caravan leaves the castle and
- 41:49Speaker 1: they're like, okay, this is our guy. Now that it
- 41:52Speaker 1: doesn't look like Aris is under her influence. So they're like,
- 41:57Speaker 1: fucking traitor that trade. Let's go killing this I was
- 42:01Speaker 1: killing of course, yeah, of course, of course. So they
- 42:05Speaker 1: follow them and they follow them for like quite a while,
- 42:09Speaker 1: and then they get to a point where they have
- 42:10Speaker 1: to follow them. They can't follow them in disguise anymore.
- 42:15Speaker 1: We have to follow them on foot, all right, chapter
- 42:18Speaker 1: sixty nine. Actually it's never mentioned whether or not they
- 42:22Speaker 1: actually no, it is mentioned in the book that they
- 42:25Speaker 1: Nesta and Cassie and do sixty nine a couple of times.
- 42:28Speaker 1: You know how there would be is it? You know,
- 42:30Speaker 1: you know how they would be those passing moments that
- 42:31Speaker 1: she would be like, And then there was weeks of
- 42:33Speaker 1: us fucking every day. I never slept in his bed
- 42:36Speaker 1: and he never slept in my bed. And then she
- 42:37Speaker 1: talks about the things that she'd tried with him, like
- 42:40Speaker 1: there was also a time where he was having his
- 42:42Speaker 1: way with my parts and I had him deep in
- 42:44Speaker 1: my throat and shit, and I was like, oh fucking
- 42:46Speaker 1: sixty Yeah, I didn't even clock that. Yeah I do
- 42:48Speaker 1: you remember that? Yeah, I do remember it, all right. Sorry,
- 42:52Speaker 1: that was a bit of like out of the nowhere.
- 42:54Speaker 2: If people didn't know old TikTok used to be relatable
- 42:57Speaker 2: sixty nine, I know now about to get professional.
- 43:01Speaker 1: Our email still says relatable sixty nine, made before we
- 43:04Speaker 1: thought we would ever be something.
- 43:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I remember the conversation and Jake made up relatable
- 43:10Speaker 2: sixty nine, and I said, oh, what if.
- 43:12Speaker 1: Like people ever want to email us about your head
- 43:17Speaker 1: out of the clouds mane, Oh my god, touch grass Brott.
- 43:23Speaker 1: That's where look where delusion got us. I know exactly.
- 43:26Speaker 2: Okay sixty nine, Chapter sixty nine.
- 43:32Speaker 1: As Real and Cassian follow Aris and bry Allen into
- 43:37Speaker 1: some woods, right, so they can't fly anymore. So they're
- 43:40Speaker 1: down on foot, tracking on foot, and they follow them
- 43:42Speaker 1: into the woods and they say, this place feels sus bro,
- 43:46Speaker 1: this place feels suspect, feels like they're in the middle.
- 43:49Speaker 1: We all know what the middle is. That's where under
- 43:52Speaker 1: the mountain is. So they go and they come up
- 43:56Speaker 1: and they're there at a small lake, and then they
- 43:58Speaker 1: think they're being all sneaky sneaky. They hear some soldiers
- 44:00Speaker 1: talking and then out of nowhere, Aris sneaks up on
- 44:04Speaker 1: Cassian has a knife to his fucking ribs. Bro all
- 44:08Speaker 1: right now, But then we spend again. The annoying thing
- 44:12Speaker 1: is from there we go to Nesta's POV. This is
- 44:14Speaker 1: so annoying. So Nesta, Gwyn and Emory they're thinking, fuck,
- 44:19Speaker 1: we're actually like pretty far up the mountain. We're kind
- 44:23Speaker 1: of getting there, and it's been treacherous so far, they
- 44:26Speaker 1: haven't gone into too much detail. Then they see that
- 44:31Speaker 1: Bellius Emory's cousin and like five other Ollrian warriors are
- 44:36Speaker 1: following them, and they're gaining on them like pretty quickly.
- 44:40Speaker 1: Now back to Cassian, so Ris goes so Asriel is
- 44:46Speaker 1: obviously kind of like, well, I can't do anything. He's
- 44:47Speaker 1: got a knife to fucking Cassian's ribs. And at this
- 44:50Speaker 1: point in time, Cassian doesn't think that Eris is under
- 44:53Speaker 1: Brown's control or anything. He's thinking Trader, Yeah, I thought
- 44:58Speaker 1: that too, So did I. I was like, ah of Coret,
- 45:00Speaker 1: yeah I was. He tracks on every on everything tracks.
- 45:04Speaker 1: And so Cassian's thinking, fucking riss Is like, I'm disappointed,
- 45:08Speaker 1: honestly that all Rees had to do was look into
- 45:10Speaker 1: my mind, bro and him and his morals and ship,
- 45:14Speaker 1: like he needs to utilize that day, Marti shit pissing
- 45:18Speaker 1: me off. Same doesn't look in anyone's mind us the
- 45:22Speaker 1: dread trovee hiven favor you use the swords, use the
- 45:24Speaker 1: dread TROVEE. Use your fucking day, Marti. Powers cross some lines.
- 45:29Speaker 1: I'll be getting in there all the time.
- 45:30Speaker 2: I'm gonna order a coffee the Marty, going to the gym,
- 45:33Speaker 2: the Marty.
- 45:35Speaker 1: I've been doing everything. I'd be like if I was
- 45:36Speaker 1: if I was de Marty and I was going to
- 45:38Speaker 1: order a coffee before I walk in, I'd go into
- 45:39Speaker 1: their mind. I tell them what I want, and then
- 45:42Speaker 1: i'd say, when you see me, just say the usual question,
- 45:44Speaker 1: like the usual and so I feel like a local.
- 45:49Speaker 1: So and then Eris is going on about Reese or whatever,
- 45:54Speaker 1: and then he starts talking about he starts going oh,
- 45:57Speaker 1: and then there's all you and this chat about the
- 45:59Speaker 1: more guy. And then that's when Cassian goes, I've never
- 46:04Speaker 1: heard you call her Morgan and your fucking life. So
- 46:06Speaker 1: then Cassian clocks he's under briy Allen's control. What bri
- 46:09Speaker 1: Allen would call him Morgan. Oh, so when they are
- 46:12Speaker 1: under the control, it's still being controlled.
- 46:18Speaker 2: But I thought that was still like under their own mind,
- 46:21Speaker 2: so it would be their own words.
- 46:22Speaker 1: I believe. So he's actually physically like thinking about what
- 46:26Speaker 1: they do. I think that she with the crown, like
- 46:30Speaker 1: bry Allen with the crown, is so powerful with that
- 46:34Speaker 1: crown that she is literally like she's making Ris move. Yeah, Okay, well,
- 46:38Speaker 1: I think it's more of a thought. It was more
- 46:40Speaker 1: like a spell. You're my bitch. Now I think it's
- 46:42Speaker 1: more of she's willing them to do it, so she's
- 46:45Speaker 1: not actually like whatever she says goes basically right, and
- 46:51Speaker 1: there must be times where she can just fully go
- 46:53Speaker 1: in and just be that person. I have no fucking
- 46:55Speaker 1: idea whatever. But so then he's like, damn under the control.
- 46:59Speaker 1: All right, back to Nesta. The girls, they're up at
- 47:01Speaker 1: the Annuloss pass all right, Anuless, we hear some history
- 47:04Speaker 1: about I said that earlier, about the warrior, the history.
- 47:07Speaker 1: So they make it and they're chilling there for a
- 47:09Speaker 1: second and they're just like, we are fucked. We need
- 47:12Speaker 1: to rest, and they're going, we can't rest. Bellius is
- 47:15Speaker 1: literally not far away. We need to make it to
- 47:17Speaker 1: the top, and where the Anulus passes is kind of
- 47:20Speaker 1: a spot where they can chill for a minute because
- 47:22Speaker 1: it's like flattened stuff gwinn. She's like fucked up, pale,
- 47:27Speaker 1: can barely walk anymore. She needs to be carried. Emory
- 47:31Speaker 1: actually has twisted her ankle, so she's limping, and stuff
- 47:34Speaker 1: Ness is the only one that's the strongest of all
- 47:36Speaker 1: of them. And actually I might add what with all this,
- 47:38Speaker 1: They ran out of food like a day ago, and
- 47:40Speaker 1: all they have is water. So Gwynn and sorry no,
- 47:45Speaker 1: Nesta and Emery they're kind of like, if anyone's going
- 47:49Speaker 1: to get to the top, it should at least be someone, right,
- 47:53Speaker 1: So they all have a crack. Nesta puts gwyn on
- 47:56Speaker 1: her back. They start climbing out of the Annulus Pass.
- 47:58Speaker 1: They get up over some sketchy boulder and now they
- 48:00Speaker 1: switched back up across the top of the dual path
- 48:03Speaker 1: and Emory's in front Gwynn and Nesta. They fucking collapse
- 48:06Speaker 1: because Nesta's strugg dogging. She falls face first back down
- 48:09Speaker 1: at the Annually past. She's got Gwinn with her. Emory's thinking,
- 48:12Speaker 1: fuck are you good? Are you good Nessa's like, oh
- 48:15Speaker 1: my gosh. She goes, we can't. I can't carry you up,
- 48:18Speaker 1: and and Emory can't. I don't think she can carry
- 48:20Speaker 1: you up. And she goes, I'm gonna have to hold
- 48:24Speaker 1: them off like bellies and shit while you guys go up.
- 48:28Speaker 1: So Gwinn says no, because of her past, how she
- 48:33Speaker 1: feels as though she let her sister die, so she's
- 48:35Speaker 1: not gonna let Nesta die. And then they have a
- 48:37Speaker 1: bit of a cry and then Nesta goes, you know what, fine, fine,
- 48:41Speaker 1: and they go to hug and then Nessa does some
- 48:43Speaker 1: weird crazy olirium technique where you touch someone on the
- 48:45Speaker 1: neck and they pass out. She knocks Gwinn the fuck
- 48:48Speaker 1: out right, goes to Emory. Come down and get this bitch.
- 48:50Speaker 1: Fuck your twisted ankle. Get her to the top. I'll
- 48:53Speaker 1: hold you off. But how we just established and she
- 48:55Speaker 1: couldn't carry on?
- 48:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know, plot holes, but I guess it
- 48:59Speaker 2: is look at But that was also that's like a
- 49:01Speaker 2: vulcan thing they do that.
- 49:02Speaker 1: It's a nerve pinch and knocks them straight out. Is
- 49:04Speaker 1: that a drinking we do that?
- 49:05Speaker 2: I don't think it's legit sick. If it was that
- 49:08Speaker 2: all the time, people would do that in real life.
- 49:11Speaker 1: I would do it all the time. That So Cassie
- 49:20Speaker 1: and Asrael back to Cassian by the way, they are
- 49:23Speaker 1: told they need to follow. So once by the way,
- 49:27Speaker 1: Cassian realizes Ris is under Brown's control. I think he
- 49:30Speaker 1: says something along lines of like when you come out
- 49:31Speaker 1: in play. So then bri Allen does come out and
- 49:35Speaker 1: so Cassie and Asrael take like follow Aris and Briy
- 49:40Speaker 1: Allen to the lake. And at this point in time,
- 49:44Speaker 1: they're both thinking, obviously they don't know that Eris has
- 49:46Speaker 1: a knife that was made by Nesta, and so they
- 49:50Speaker 1: need to get him the fuck out of there because
- 49:52Speaker 1: all the knife at least just out of there or
- 49:53Speaker 1: else Kochi gets his hands on that ship, unstoppable, no
- 49:57Speaker 1: one can stop him, just because of how powerfully is
- 49:58Speaker 1: plus the made object and stuff flat they're fucked up.
- 50:02Speaker 1: So then they're at the lake and they see what
- 50:06Speaker 1: looks to be a shadow of a figure and they
- 50:11Speaker 1: it turns out that that is Kochy and he hasn't
- 50:13Speaker 1: really shown like a full form or anything like that.
- 50:16Speaker 1: He must be scary, bro, I think, so, yeah, I'm
- 50:19Speaker 1: trying to think about, you know, the Necromancer in the Hobbit,
- 50:25Speaker 1: so when the Necromancer is the fucking main bad guy,
- 50:30Speaker 1: but in the Hobbit he's just the necromancer, and he
- 50:32Speaker 1: turns into the main bad dude in the Lord of
- 50:34Speaker 1: the Rings, you know, you know when fucking Gandalf goes
- 50:42Speaker 1: they're in that forest and he goes to that old
- 50:44Speaker 1: ruins of like a of like a castle, and that
- 50:47Speaker 1: fucking shadowy figure comes out and he's fighting him and
- 50:49Speaker 1: he's fucking up. I'm picturing that. Yeah, honestly, that's pretty
- 50:52Speaker 1: unpart that was scary too. It was fucking that, Yeah,
- 50:55Speaker 1: it was scary. So I'm picturing that, all right. So yeah,
- 51:00Speaker 1: then Nessa's just chilling waiting, sword in hand. She got
- 51:04Speaker 1: a shield as well. She's like a quiet a shield
- 51:07Speaker 1: along the way and stuff, using it to fight. Chapter
- 51:10Speaker 1: seventy Bellius and his warriors they get up to the pass,
- 51:14Speaker 1: but it's a bottleneck, so they can only go one
- 51:15Speaker 1: by one to where Nesta is, and so Bellius sends
- 51:18Speaker 1: out all his little little bitch warriors first, and Nessa's
- 51:21Speaker 1: just taken him on one by fucking one. She's killing
- 51:25Speaker 1: them too, she's fucking killing her. She's drawn a line
- 51:27Speaker 1: in the sand or like the dirt, and she's like,
- 51:29Speaker 1: I can't cross this line. I need to hold them
- 51:31Speaker 1: on this other side of the line, killing, killing, killing, killing,
- 51:34Speaker 1: being a beast right. Chapter seventy one, Asruel says to Koshi,
- 51:39Speaker 1: like the fuck br and then I don't know, Kochi
- 51:45Speaker 1: just kind of says they've been waiting for them They've
- 51:47Speaker 1: been planning this for days, but they were flying around
- 51:50Speaker 1: in the sky, flapping around for too long, and they
- 51:52Speaker 1: thought that they would have come down earlier. And they
- 51:55Speaker 1: always wanted to bring Asruel and Cassian here. And so
- 51:58Speaker 1: then Cassian he's like thinking, ship, what do I do?
- 52:03Speaker 1: And so he says run and Asrael grabs Aris flaps up.
- 52:09Speaker 1: Cassian's about to go, but Brillen uses the crown stops
- 52:13Speaker 1: him from leaving the ground. Asrael and Ris gone, luckily
- 52:16Speaker 1: because he's got the knife, but Cassian he's stuck. He's gone.
- 52:20Speaker 1: I was thinking, oh, fun, no, and Brillan goes, hey, hey,
- 52:25Speaker 1: you pretty boy, I have need of you, all right,
- 52:28Speaker 1: and then she goes to Kochy all right, when knows
- 52:31Speaker 1: wh knows? Now I was I actually was thinking where
- 52:33Speaker 1: I should have known, but I was actually thinking where whatever, So, Nesta,
- 52:38Speaker 1: she's killed all the males right, waiting on Ballias or
- 52:42Speaker 1: Bellius or however. You thought the brill Allen and Bellious
- 52:46Speaker 1: could have been different names to make it easier. Yeah,
- 52:48Speaker 1: it's a bit tricky, a bit weird, but anyway, I'm
- 52:51Speaker 1: pretty sure he's also just under the control of Brillen.
- 52:53Speaker 1: The whole time, and so she's waiting for Bellious and
- 52:58Speaker 1: she looks up and she sees the Emery and Gwyn.
- 53:00Speaker 1: They've made it to the very top of the mountain
- 53:02Speaker 1: and they're about to touch the pillar. So she's kind
- 53:04Speaker 1: of like, all right, I'm glad my girls are alive,
- 53:07Speaker 1: but I also actually don't want to die. I have
- 53:09Speaker 1: something to live for now. I have a mate, shit,
- 53:11Speaker 1: and I have friends. And so then Bellius gets up
- 53:15Speaker 1: there and he goes, all right, let's fucking do this.
- 53:16Speaker 1: Pretty girl starts going at her and she's fucked up
- 53:21Speaker 1: because she's tired and he's going and he actually is
- 53:23Speaker 1: a beast, and he ends up kind of sucking her
- 53:25Speaker 1: up a bit.
- 53:27Speaker 2: And well, I think that point about how she realized
- 53:29Speaker 2: she had a mate was quite a bit of a
- 53:32Speaker 2: revelation for her.
- 53:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I would agree.
- 53:35Speaker 2: Is this the part where she's like, my mate, I
- 53:38Speaker 2: don't know was that then or I think it was
- 53:40Speaker 2: right before.
- 53:41Speaker 1: I think you're right, and she's got I've got a
- 53:42Speaker 1: reason to fight. So yeah. In chapter seventy two, so
- 53:45Speaker 1: Nessa does she's taken some attacks and she goes, fuck this,
- 53:49Speaker 1: and she's she's going to go hand to hand with him,
- 53:50Speaker 1: right pretty sure. She like chucks weapons down, and so
- 53:53Speaker 1: does he. She going hand to hand with him, and
- 53:54Speaker 1: she's thinking in her head, she's like, my mate taught me. Well, yeah,
- 53:57Speaker 1: that's what she's say and so she's kind of got
- 53:59Speaker 1: this like thing of confidence and what ebbs. So chapter
- 54:05Speaker 1: seventy three, Bellius ends up just fucking Nesta up hand
- 54:09Speaker 1: to hand combat, and he's kind of like, this is, honestly,
- 54:12Speaker 1: how are you even allowed to be in the riot?
- 54:15Speaker 1: This is this is easy, motherfucker, and so he's gonna killer.
- 54:20Speaker 1: He originally goes, I don't want any weapons. Cracking your
- 54:23Speaker 1: neck is gonna be so so much better, and then
- 54:26Speaker 1: out of nowhere he goes, actually, wait, nah, I think
- 54:28Speaker 1: I prefer to see your throat, gets a knife out,
- 54:30Speaker 1: and then he's about to go slit her throat, and
- 54:33Speaker 1: out of nowhere he just gets fucking head chopped off
- 54:37Speaker 1: and then his body falls and who's behind him Cassie
- 54:41Speaker 1: in a boy and so obviously I'm thinking, oh no,
- 54:43Speaker 1: but it's Cassian. He's he's he's under the influence of brown. Brown.
- 54:47Speaker 1: Oh my fucking god. And so she turns around and
- 54:51Speaker 1: Cassian is clearly under the control of the Crown and
- 54:54Speaker 1: he's coming over. He goes he kills Bellius. She goes
- 54:57Speaker 1: to hug him and he's like squeezing her too tight,
- 54:59Speaker 1: and he goes, no, I'm gonna slit your fucking throat too,
- 55:01Speaker 1: and then she looks over Brillan's there.
- 55:03Speaker 2: I didn't understand why they kill Bellius when he was
- 55:07Speaker 2: under influence of the Crown too, and he's such a
- 55:10Speaker 2: fucking beast.
- 55:12Speaker 1: He had been so good to keep under your wing.
- 55:14Speaker 1: So bri Allen goes on to say he was a
- 55:17Speaker 1: good pawn, but he was too blood like bloodthirsty. She
- 55:22Speaker 1: says something about that. She said, he was good, but
- 55:24Speaker 1: I told him just to hurt you. I just wanted
- 55:26Speaker 1: him to tire you out, because Nesta says, so, yeah, Basically,
- 55:32Speaker 1: she goes on the said I just wanted him to
- 55:33Speaker 1: tire you out because and I didn't wanted to kill
- 55:34Speaker 1: you because I need you, I need your blood. And
- 55:38Speaker 1: then but he just was like too hungry for for
- 55:41Speaker 1: fucking blood and wanted to kill her. Yeah, he was,
- 55:44Speaker 1: to be fair, he was a beast. Glad he's dead,
- 55:47Speaker 1: but he.
- 55:47Speaker 2: Was under the he was a funck with Yeah, it
- 55:50Speaker 2: was still he could have been a good Olium warrior
- 55:53Speaker 2: for race.
- 55:53Speaker 1: Yeah, fair, he's the best, is fucking he would have
- 55:56Speaker 1: fought for Cassian to be fair? Yeah, I guess all right.
- 56:01Speaker 1: So Nesta goes to bri Allen Sorry Chapter seventy four.
- 56:07Speaker 1: Nessa's like, wait to bri Allen, the old Creney, fucking
- 56:11Speaker 1: bitch queen. She's like, why so you made me be
- 56:14Speaker 1: part of the riot? You know, you fucking put them
- 56:16Speaker 1: all onto the influenced crown, and shit, why what's the point?
- 56:20Speaker 1: Like why make me do this when you could literally
- 56:22Speaker 1: just come and kill me yourself with the crown. And
- 56:24Speaker 1: then she goes, Naha, now you're too powerful. I needed
- 56:28Speaker 1: you to be run the fuck down because I can't
- 56:31Speaker 1: beat you one on one. You're actually She's like, I
- 56:33Speaker 1: think this is way more powerful than she thinks. She said, no,
- 56:36Speaker 1: you're too powerful. You're too powerful, and so then she goes,
- 56:40Speaker 1: I don't know why she wanted to use Cassian to
- 56:42Speaker 1: do this, but she goes on to say, like, I
- 56:44Speaker 1: dated Cassie and I wanted I wanted to use Cassie
- 56:46Speaker 1: to kill you. I don't know why, maybe just to
- 56:48Speaker 1: like be spiteful, but to be spiteful, and so she says, yeah,
- 56:53Speaker 1: I needed you alive because I need your blood to
- 56:55Speaker 1: I know you've like found the trove and shit, I
- 56:57Speaker 1: need you to summon the trove. You know you can.
- 57:00Speaker 1: I'm in it. I don't know all this like random shit,
- 57:02Speaker 1: magical shit. And so then she goes, I could use
- 57:06Speaker 1: you alive, but literally, all I need is your blood,
- 57:09Speaker 1: because she says to Nessa, some in the trop for me.
- 57:11Speaker 1: I want it, and Nessa's like, nah, fuck off, I'm
- 57:13Speaker 1: not doing it. Fuck off. So she goes, ah, well,
- 57:16Speaker 1: he could have been alive for this, but I also,
- 57:17Speaker 1: all I need is your blood. You know, I'll just
- 57:19Speaker 1: use the crown on someone else and I'll get them
- 57:20Speaker 1: to tell me where the trophy is, where the rest
- 57:22Speaker 1: of it is, because they have the other two things.
- 57:24Speaker 1: And so she's like, Cassian kill her, and Cassian goes
- 57:29Speaker 1: over to her, picks herb He's like about to slit
- 57:31Speaker 1: her throat, and she's like, come on, do it, and
- 57:33Speaker 1: Cassian's like fighting it, fighting it, fighting it. Nessa's looking
- 57:36Speaker 1: him in the eyes and she's like, I know you're
- 57:37Speaker 1: not doing this. She's like telling him eyes to eyes,
- 57:40Speaker 1: like this is okay. Like I understand this is not
- 57:42Speaker 1: your thing, like I love you and shit. And then
- 57:44Speaker 1: Cassian's like breaks away from the fucking chains of the
- 57:47Speaker 1: Crown and instead of killing Nesta, he turns the knife
- 57:52Speaker 1: to himself and he's about to kill himself because you
- 57:56Speaker 1: have to be mad specific with magical wording and all
- 58:00Speaker 1: she said. All Brillen said was kill. Didn't say who
- 58:02Speaker 1: to kill, so he got to kill whoever he wanted
- 58:05Speaker 1: as long as he killed fucking second loop hole smart.
- 58:10Speaker 1: But so Nesta sees the knife is like starting to
- 58:13Speaker 1: go into Cassian's heart and she just fucking loses her mind.
- 58:19Speaker 1: And dawn comes, which means her magic is back from
- 58:23Speaker 1: the blood Right, and she just fucking erupts with power.
- 58:28Speaker 1: Next thing she knows, Cassian's Gornsky. He's like he's fallen over,
- 58:32Speaker 1: blown away, and she's on top of bry Allen and
- 58:36Speaker 1: just burns her alive and turns her into ash. Yeah,
- 58:39Speaker 1: she's incinerated, And why not to dif From start? It
- 58:44Speaker 1: was very quick? Why not to different?
- 58:46Speaker 2: Start wasn't much like fighting, and then yeah, this is
- 58:50Speaker 2: where the loopholes were happening.
- 58:52Speaker 1: But then you were just like, oh well, okay, like
- 58:55Speaker 1: I just don't. I really, I don't know, bro, I
- 58:57Speaker 1: just don't really.
- 58:58Speaker 2: Well, I guess she had to expu sperience losing Cassian
- 59:01Speaker 2: to harness her death god power because I don't know
- 59:06Speaker 2: she was in pain.
- 59:07Speaker 1: She doesn't know how to use it. Still, Yeah, she
- 59:09Speaker 1: needed to go through that.
- 59:10Speaker 2: So using Cassian actually bit Brillan in the ass, yeah,
- 59:16Speaker 2: because if she usse anyone else and Nessa wouldn't have been.
- 59:18Speaker 1: Able to do it. Maybe maybe literally anyone else. And
- 59:21Speaker 1: maybe that's just what makes the story a good story,
- 59:24Speaker 1: makes a good story. This is where it starts going
- 59:27Speaker 1: downhill for me. Okay, so it starts to go very
- 59:30Speaker 1: fast downhill for me here. Yeah, So chapter seventy five,
- 59:35Speaker 1: so Cassian turns out to be unharmed by it was
- 59:38Speaker 1: like laughing, yeah, yeah, he's it turns out to be
- 59:41Speaker 1: totally fine, right, And what ended up happening was Nesta
- 59:45Speaker 1: actually unmade brill which is like fucking insane whatever. And
- 59:52Speaker 1: Nesta does eventually accept out loud to Cassian that they
- 59:56Speaker 1: are mates and she wants this, and then they have
- 59:57Speaker 1: a big old smoochy smooch. Now more than as Reel
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: appear winned in Okay, they go all right, Cassiine goes
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: where's Arras and they're like, yep, he's dealt with. He's
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: safe as per the moment. But there's something wrong. It's
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: Favor And I was like.
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: Fuck, yeah, fuck on even book and what exactly exactly
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: because what annoyed me was they're going to be like, wait,
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: what's what's wrong.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: It's not two months until she's supposed to go on intolay,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: but like, we have two months left to figure this out.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: I was like, you had two months to write it
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: in the next book. He didn't need to happen. Chapter
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: seventy six. She's been bleeding alright, she started bleeding a
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: couple of hours ago. They're in the room, everyone's there,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: all the friends, Marga and she's like, Marj's like, bitch,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: this fucking baby's stuck all right. The wings that they're
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: they're absolutely destroying you and this baby is not coming out.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: She's like, we can can't cut it out because no
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: one's ever survived that, and Fara is just like, fuck it,
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: cut him out. Everyone disagrees for a second, and then
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: she goes fucking cut it out. In Marge goes all right,
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: green light tools I'll cut him out, cuts the baby out.
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: Reese is like devastated in the background, cuts the baby
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: what was what was the audio? Like Reese was like
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: and then as soon as Pharah said that, he's like, okay,
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: let's do it.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: So she cuts the baby out, brings it out, gives
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: it the more. This thing is not alive, bro, this
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: baby is not too much primo baby Jesus. Now the
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: baby's out. It's not alive. Clearly. Moore is holding onto it,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: and Fayra is like Nesta's kind of powers are really
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: kicking in and she can really tell what's happening, like
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: Reese is about to die, the baby's about to die,
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: and Fay's got like three breaths left or something is
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: die ying. She is like losing blood. Now. Nessa's like, okay,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: what can I do. Everyone's trying everything, like Cassie and
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: Azrael holding Reese back like you gotta let favor breathe. Bro.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Maaul's crying, Elaine's crying, and Nessa just goes fuck it.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: She summons the mask, the crown and the harp.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: Ye all right, I was about I was like about
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: time finally we use these things.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: And so she summons them, and from Cassian's POV, apparently
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: it's like the eyes that are looking out of the
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: mask were not Nesta's and they're not faith. She didn't
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: he didn't know what creature was looking out. But Nessa
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: starts walking over and she she's gonna pluck one of
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: the strings on the harp. Now, Reese goes to Lungito
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: and he just like can't even get through her power.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: That's how powerful she is.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: Well, Lungeita, but obviously maybe he thought that she was
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: gonna go kill I don't fucking know.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: So she plucks the twenty sixth string, Chapter seventy seven.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: She plucks the twenty sixth string. Now just so happens
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: that the twenty sixth string seems to be time itself.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: She plucks it, time stops, all right, everyone's stuck there,
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: and she's just chilling observing. Now she goes over to
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: farrh and she so yeah, she goes over to Farrah
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: and she can feel death coming to her, to the
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: baby Terese, and then she's kind of like chilling, you know,
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: she stopped time, so her death's waiting. And then she
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: goes over to Farr and she basically just hugs her,
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: and she just she says that she loves Farr, and
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: she says, too, I'm assuming the cauldron, and I think
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: that's who she's saying it too. She says, I'll give
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: it all back if you just save her and the baby.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: I'll give all of it back. You can have every
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: ounce of it. I don't care. So she keeps on
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: repeating herself. She says, you can have it all back.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: She keeps on saying I love you to Faarr. And
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: so she feels a tattoo form on her back or something, right,
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: she feels a tattoo form, and so a bargain has
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: been struck, and then time resumes, massive flash of light.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: They're chilling for a second, and everyone's like comes back
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: to They're all like Nesta was there, now she's here
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: crying on Farah's chest like saying I love you. And
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: then out of no where they hit the baby cry,
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: so it's alive, and more is like looking at it,
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: and the baby's crying. Farah stops bleeding. Reese's sweet and
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: Farah says to Nesta, I love you too. Also, Nessa
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: says that that's the first time she's ever told fair
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: She loves her.
- 1:04:25Speaker 5: Yeah, wholesome, wholesome bro helps kiping and jump the way wholesome.
- 1:04:30Speaker 5: So he basically and now Nessa's got almost none of
- 1:04:36Speaker 5: her powers.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: Yeah. She says that during the bargain, she like felt
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: all the powers leave, but she someone someone decided that
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: she still needed some or deserved some, so she can
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: still feel some of it there. Yeah, I feel like
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: that someone will be in the next book. I think
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: it was the mother. I put it with someone else. Nah,
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: they say it was the mother. I think, oh, but
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: it could be someone else. I like that. I thought
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: was also obviously they needed to KNOWRF Nesta. Yeahs was
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: too powerful. Otherwise I needed a nerve her, which is
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: annoying because beast was a beast. They never use it anyways. Yeah,
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: I wanted her to fucking like overthrow.
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: Everything, Cassine says later on, like in one of the
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: later chapters when they talk for like the last three chapters,
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: then you want to keep it, Yeah, I know.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: So baby goes and sits on Ferry's boob. That's sucking
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: milk out, all right. Reese goes over to Nesta, drops
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: to his knees, starts crying, just thanking her she just
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: looks down at him, picks up his face, and drops
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: to her knees and just hugs him. It was like,
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: I kind of liked it when they hated each other.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: And also this is hoss fuck, it's always gonna be
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: a happy ending. Of course, of course, of course, of course.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: Now chapter seventy eight, Emory and Gwynn, remember Emory and
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: Gwynn like just finished the right forgot about them and
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: just touched the stone and got winnowed out by the way,
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: So these motherfuckers are like the first in probably five hundred,
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: four hundred years or whatever to actually do that. Yeah,
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: where's there?
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: Also, the time timing doesn't really work, because as soon
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: as they touched the emerald or stone at the top,
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: they said they got transported to.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: They got they got transported to the riverhouse. The riverhouse,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: but as if it was that, as if the stone
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: knew they needed to be there.
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: But in the time that Asru were and Moore picked
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: up Nesta and Cassian and then went there and then
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: went and did all that and then established the fairy
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: was dying. They'd already finished when the sunrise. As soon
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: as the sun rose, they should have touched it.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: And came down. The storyline of the timing is off. Well,
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: they touched it just before the sun rose. Yeah, so
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: they completed the right. But they did say that Ferry
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: has been bleeding for a few hours now. But what
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: I want to know is they touched the stone the
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: stone and they get winnowed to the river House before
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: Cassie even shows up. And this kills bray Allen, even
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: though it has been a couple of hours that Ferry
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: has been bleeding. So what do they do show up
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: at the riverhouse and then just sit there, So you
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: reckon they've got up before. I thought they just hadn't
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: rocked up for a couple of hours and then they no,
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: I reckon, they got they've just been chilling at the
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: fucking river house because it but they should walk in
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: at the same time. That has really more winnowed them.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: Maybe maybe they would they heard Farah like fucking screaming
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: and crying and shit about the bleeding and the pain
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: and just thought, yeah, we better just chill out here. Yeah,
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: just one of the most important thing. Yeah, because Nesta says,
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: she just walks out of the room that Farah is
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: having the kid in and she's in like some foyer
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: and that's just where they are maybe, and they said, yeah,
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: we just like got winnoed here. We've been standing here
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: since we got window here. Yeah. Crazy crazy anyways, and
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: then Reese and Pharah named their son Nix. We were wrong. Well,
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: Cassie and goes to speak with Nesta is like, is
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: your power really gone? And then she goes, yeah, no, yeah,
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: no pretty much, I can feel some of it. And
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: he's like, why do you let it all go?
- 1:07:44Speaker 5: Bro?
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: You could have fucking like ruled the wormpletely ruled the world.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: And then she goes, yeah, it's just not anything I want. No,
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: I just want you boor you And then he's like, yeah, yeah, fair, fair,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: I just want you to She guys, I did make
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: a couple changes though, Yeah, this is cool. I didn't
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: mean a couple of changes while I was doing that bargain.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: So what I actually did was Fay's anatomy is now
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: that of an oliriate, so this won't happen again. And
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: then she goes, I may have changed my anatomy too.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: I may have changed mine anatomy too, and then uh,
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: and then Cassie goes, you want to have a baby.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: What a baby. We go right now, man chilling, and
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: she goes, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold your fucking horses,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: pretty boy, I'm still going to be taking that lixa
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: that stops that ship. But but one day the future,
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: in the future, planning the future, I do, I do,
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: I do want to have a little chicky baby family
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: with you. In the future, Chapter seventy nine, Cassie is
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: going to the Human City and that's where Aris is chilling.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: He's just chilling in the room reading a book. He's been,
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: you know, going about his business, and Cassiing goes in
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: and he has a chat to him, and he's like
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: trying to find out what he told bray Allen and
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: what he told his father, and Ris goes, honestly, you
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: have nothing to worry about. They got everything out of me,
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: and he's told cassian everything he told then and then
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: Cassiane goes, oh, you really didn't know that much after all. Yeah,
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: that's fine, don't worry about it. And so he does
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: feel bad for Aris though, because he so Ris is
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: still kind of being a dick. And then he says
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: to Aris, like, what, actually, why did you leave more
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: in the forest? All those years ago and Ris is like, oh,
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: I was like yes, so I was for finally we
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: get to find out. Yeah, He's like why just tell me, bro,
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: Like what why did you? And he goes. Aris is
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: like what ancient history? Man? It's five hundred fucking it's
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: like four hundred years ago or whatever? What is? It
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: doesn't matter, And Cassian's like, come on, just fucking tell me.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: And then Aris somehow changes the subject, so Cassian's like whatever.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: Cassiane goes to walk out and he's like, know what, Eras.
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: I do think you're a good man, I really do,
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: but I think you're too much of a coward to
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: just be it, and then he just leaves. Trapped in
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: a bad situation. Yeah, he said, I I think you're
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: a good man, trapped in a bad situation. I think
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: you're too cowardly to fucking try and get out of it.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: And I was like, fuck, I guess fair.
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: But he got he was getting tortured by his dad too,
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: and there was like what type of quarters is to
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: talk to your own say no?
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: But like, Sarah J. Mass, tell me you know what?
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: I think. Sarah J. Mass wants there to be a secret,
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: but she hasn't thought of the story behind it. Yet
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: she I don't even think Sarah J. Mass knows what
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: the secret is interesting, and that's why she keeps getting reference.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: That's why Aris kept on saying more nos more nos,
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: more nos. She's too scared to say it. And then
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: she's like, I had a good idea and then someone
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: told her not shit, And so now Sarah J. Mass
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: is just like, fuck, I better really like figure this
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: shit out. And now chapter eighty, Nessa, Farah Nix and Elaine.
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: Next they go for a nice little stroll apparently Ah
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: like Pharah goes for walks, and she's just constantly either
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: accompanied by Reese as real more or Cassian and just
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: to like stay safe. So Elaine and Nessa are with
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: her today and they go up to their father's graves.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: First time Nessa's gone up there. Pharah has a little
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: chitty chatty and then Nessa talks about how they're having
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: like a massive mating ceremony and uh, ever, since she
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: saved Farah, Reese has just been giving her gifts on gifts,
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: on gifts, on gifts on gifts. He gifted Nessa the
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: fucking House of Wind. That's crazy. He goes, you can
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: the House of Wind is yours. All we want is
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: the star Faar party and anything like if there's ever
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: like a city event, we just need the House of Winter.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: And Nessa was like done, done, bro, yeah, I'll fucking
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: dake it. And I was like, what is crazy? And
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: then then she's like all right, and not with the gifts, Reese,
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: I can't take it anymore when all I want now, okay,
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: we are even if you just throw me a great
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: mating ceremony. And apparently he has been decking this shit out,
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: like the fight. He has been spending copious amounts of
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: money on this mating ceremony. So now she likes Reese
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: and so they go, what's the visit the grave? Visit
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: the grave, and Pharaoh chat's Elaine chats and then it's
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: Nessa's turn. Nessa goes up and she's like says to
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: her sisters, you know, give me a second, and they
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: walk off, and then Nessa just like apparently apologizes to
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: her father's grave for everything, and she's gonna try and
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: re earn his love and try and re earn it
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: with Cassiean's love and shit like that, and then she
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: just fucking gets up leaves and goes and sees her
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: sisters and then they're done. Happy ending. It's the end
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: of the book. That was the end of the book,
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: the end of all of them, of the journey. There's
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: one more, but it's not out yet, the Journey to
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: care That so we're done. So I guess we can go.
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: Thoughts and feelings of this book, the whole series, predictions
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: to the next book.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: The whole series is amazing. Got me into reading. Hopefully
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: it's sticks me into reading along the journey. I want
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: to say big thank you to Sarah J. Mass. This
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: has been fucking awesome. Big thank you to the baddies. Yeah,
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: this has been fucking awesome. Huge thank you to Addie huge. Okay,
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: what do you think, Goni you how do you feel
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: about series?
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: Okay, so coming from two boys, but myself as well,
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: never reading any type of fantasy, totally enjoyed it.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: I was very.
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: Unknowing of the storyline and how detailed it was, and
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: I'm a big lover of the Hobbit and the crossover
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: of it. It's crazy, which I really loved. I'm going
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: to say this book rating. It was a nine for
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: me until the ending. I'm going to put it as
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: a seven yea a quarter of thorns and roses. As
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: a whole, though, I'm going to put it as a
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: solid the only one I've ever read, like the series
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: of Fantasy. But I'm going to give a solid eight
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: point six. Okay, I'm going to give this book. I'm
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: going to be with you on this book. It was
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: so good until it wasn't low sevens.
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: Feels as though it was like feels as though she
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: she said, maybe it's time for this book to end,
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: and so she just had to wrap it up. And
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: but I guess what she has whole She has also
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: done is like she has set it up so now
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: Fare and Reese have a kid. True. You know, I'm
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: very excited to play Cards against Humanity about Guitar Prithian addition,
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: without any spoilers. Cannot wait.
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: It'll be good whole series though, because it's the book
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: that got me into reading and it's the only series
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: I've ever read, I'm going to give it a ten ten,
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: but subject to change with other series we read, because
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: so if we read another series, the copa answer.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: Why, it's because if it was shit and it was
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: the only this is my only I don't have a
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: frame of reference. This is my new frame of reference. Yeah,
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: so this has to be the highest. It's ten. I
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: reckon give it actual answer out of ten, but I
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: don't know if there's anything better. I mean, your enjoyment
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: level out of it, enjoyment levels ten tens a ten.
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: All I've done is enjoy myself. Yeah, if anything, if
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: not ten nine eight. There is some endings that I
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: wasn't overly happy with, but enjoyment.
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: Levels is I want there to be more.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: Okay, okay, so all right, then nine eighty nine eight.
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: It could have been the shittest book everybody. It's the
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: only thing I've ever read so to ten exactly. That's
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: what's wrong with that. I see the logic, but I
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: wanted the actual answer, but they can't give it. Actually,
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: I need to read more series did and that's actually
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: yours is a false answer because you don't know. You
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: don't actually know, do you? This could be the best
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: series ever written in every other series of shit competed
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: to this, And now you've given this a seven when
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: it should be a ten. I gave it an eighty six.
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: I gave that book a seven. Yeah, the whole series
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: at eighty six, which I think is right.
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: Predictions for next book, Azrin and Azri, Azrael and Elaine
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: will fall in love and but they'll have to hide
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: it from Reese because he said don't go near her.
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: And then there'll be some whole storyline of them running
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: around falling in love. And then they'll have to tell
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: recent favor, and then there'll be something to do with
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: errors and more.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: Don't know what yet. Maybe they'll have an affair or
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: something that'll be sick. I don't affair. Oh, it's not an.
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: Affair, but like because I start hooking out just behind
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: closed doors or something, something will go. What do we
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: think the more announcement is because she's gay? But what
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: Eras did? There has to be more to that.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: I think that because and Asrael knows well, or we
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: think he knows whatever Ras did, but he still hates Aris. Yeah,
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: so he can't know true unless it's actually bad. It
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: nearly killed Aris true. Remember in the Meeting of the
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: Highlights that was sick? Yeah about that? What could it
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: possibly be?
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: Not as everyone else seems, she's not telling the truth.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't know. I'm intrigued. It's got
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: to be good though the suspense. I think we've got
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: another multi character POV coming. Everyone, I reckon or do
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: you reckon? They're going to talk about Nicks and stuff.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: So I think it's going to be set multiple years
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: in the future. I reckon, they're going to go straight
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: to the mating ceremony. You think that they're going to
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: start from the mating cerum, so I reckon, yeah, straight
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: from there. Now, I think it's going to be multiple
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: years in the future, and Nicks is going to be
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: a little kid. Yeah, and it's going to be like
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: he's the only thing right is It's ended on a
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: good note. So I think that if anything, it almost
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: feels like recent favorite story is over. That's what I
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: was thinking. That's why I don't think much go on Nixon. Yeah,
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: it almost feels like recent Favor's story could be over.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: And there's obviously things you could bring up, but it
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: would just feel like if a big problem arose, you
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: would just be bringing it up purely because you want
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: to write Favor and Reese. So I do like the
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: idea of Asriel and a Lane. But I also think
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: Azrael might be into Gwynn Oh. I could see that too.
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: I was thinking he was going to get with Gwynn
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: out of spite for not being able to get with Elane.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: I'm thinking cheeky love triangle. I like Gwinn. Yeah. What
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: was the guy's name in the Blood Right who never
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: heard about Who's hit in the cave? Balth bizarre? I
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: can We'll see him again. I want to see Balthazar again.
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: Ickon, something will happen and he'll resource he'll get in
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: the court somehow, and maybe he'll get with Gwen we
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: wed and see that The interesting about this, every single
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: one of our predictions the baddie has the baddies have
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: known if they're right or wrong.
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: They don't know now, Yeah, they don't know, yeah, which
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: is crazy. Yeah. I saw a prediction a long time ago.
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: The book six is going to be a Tamlin return.
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: I don't even think of that. Tamlin.
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: I've been saying from the start, a redemption, a redemption
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: ar Yeah, I've been saying that from a start.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: I would love that, to be fair. That's a knot
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: that wasn't tired at the end. It's still loose, still, yeah,
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: very loose. I wouldn't mind a Hellian book. I actually
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: would love to know what the Day courts like like
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: characters in the Day Court and spand it is the
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: sixth book, the last one or could there be more?
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: I don't know, crazy thrown glasses eight books.
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: Each book you release you probably just get like twenty
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: million dollars, So just keep going.
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: Why not? Why? Okay, Well, big announcement. That's it for
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: Court of Thorns and Roses.
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: That's it, dude, I will leave this to you, my
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: friend batties.
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: Okay, how do I announce this? We have finished a
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: Court of Thorns and Roses, the series. We loved it. Now,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: in between this series that we just read and the
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: next series that we pick up, we have decided to
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: read a one off standalone book, all right, in a
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: completely different genre. This genre is psychological thriller. All right.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: They are making a movie about this that's coming out
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: in December. It's got a bit of hype, some good actors,
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: and this book, it's got some hype. It's nice and short,
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: very readable, it's supposed to be very exciting. And that
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: book is The Housemaid. The Housemaid. So we will be
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: reading The Housemaid for the next few weeks. Why we're
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: while we go over every single piece of ah, just
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: material that we have been suggested when it comes to romanity.
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: Yeah, so the next series will be something to do
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: in the fantasy world. Yes, and we will pose that
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: to you guys. Yes, there will be a poll. But
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: this is just our filler book. I think it's a
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: very good choice. Yeah, and just a little bit of
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: a mental refresh. And it's just one thing. And is
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: there two more books coming out?
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: So there is two more books, but apparently this is
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: a this is a book you could read as a standalone,
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: but there is two more. So in between all the
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: series we read, we might just have little little one
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: offs with the Housemaid series exactly. Thank you guys so much,
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: and well, thank you from the bottom of our hearts
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: for the book club as a whole. It started as
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: a segment.
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: I remember obviously a book club is not the newest idea,
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: but I remember having the idea when I was in
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: Bali last year.
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: Our voice message Jake, I was at the airport. I
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: was like, don't have a book club? Would do good?
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: And You're like, you know what it would And my
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: girlfriend was reading a quarter Thorns and Roses, And it
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: started as a segment.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: Segments were popping off.
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: We'll getting comments and like, shit, this has got some
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: minute the legs, and it's got so many legs that
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: the baddies love it so much. It became its own thing.
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: It's turned our Patreon into the best. It was already
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: the best place, but even better place ever. So thank you,
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: thank you guys, very very much. And oh, chapters next
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: week the Housemaid.
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: One second?
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: Let me see, is there enough time for when this
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: comes out and the baddies can order and read along
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: with us?
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: And chapters? Dude, ten chapters is only fifty six pages.
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: Do you want to do our long episodes? So just
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: have a little break and do forty five minute episodes?
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: Yeah? Fuck, let's do that. And also I was gonna say,
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: do you reckon? We just wait till we do the
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: next episode to kind of talk about how we're going
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: to do them. Yeah, I can do it. Yeah, don't
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: even like it, don't do it. We'll just do short recaps, yeah,
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: not super in depth.
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: Yeah all right, Oh, before we finish, Jake, how many
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: chapters we'll be reading next week?
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: I'm going to say we'll start off with ten, and
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: if it's super long, we'll do less. And if it's
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: super short. We'll do more so ten is a sweet spot.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: I believe to start with ten chapters. We'll see you
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: next week, and we love you. Stay bad.
