After 20 years of tinkering, James Acaster’s long-gestating musical project The Wow! Scenario finally drops its debut single “Zacuti” featuring BC Camplight—with the full album “Stand in the Star. A Verse and a Chorus” arriving October 23. Formed in 2004 in Kettering, the band’s name came from a fan’s accidental compliment, and Acaster—who started stand-up as a teen band placeholder—never imagined he’d produce an album himself.
