- 0:00SPEAKER_00: How far has artificial intelligence gone for you, your application with your business, your job, your personal life?
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: Is it gone as far as it can?
- 0:10SPEAKER_00: Do you see that you need more bandwidth or you need more intelligence on your end?
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: Are you in that type of job?
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: Maybe you're a physics person or a mathematics person.
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: Maybe you need something that's even better than it already is.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: But I'll tell you, for most of us that are working in various businesses that aren't related to mathematics, physics, and biology and medicine, all of those other industries, I think it's probably pretty well arrived.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: There are different things that you can have it do.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: I believe the thing that's lacking currently is that total agentic workflow.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: And I know some of the systems have already, they already have these agents that you can have go out and start to do things, but that's still not as seamless as it will be in the future.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: In fact, a lot of us are still dependent on keyboards to be able to type in information to the various models, whichever one we want to be using.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: But it's pretty soon that voice thing is probably going to be taking over.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: So Siri is going to be taken over by AI.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: A lot of the different systems, you'll be able just to start talking to them as you already can in multiple different situations.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: That being said, it's also going to probably have those connections that a lot of us are looking forward to, but we have to be weary.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: It's going to have a connection into your Gmail, your email, whatever your email client happens to be, Outlook or whatever.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: You can already give some of them particular permissions to be able to access your email.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: But do you really want to?
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: Because when it starts to look, unless there's a particular parameter built in where it's only going to be able to scrape a certain amount of time or certain emails from various people, more than likely, once you grant it permission, it's going to be able to see everything.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: And if you have things in there that you want to keep off the radar, now it's going to have access to those.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: In addition, remember in the past, we were always concerned with people getting our personal and private information.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: And that's pretty much been finished because everybody pretty much has a lot of information about us.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: Now, ladies and gentlemen, this is going to go even the next layer where it's going to start looking at your particular desktop, your laptop, your phone.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: It's going to be given permissions and access by you.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: And by that, it's going to use your data, your information to continually train and improve itself.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: Not that it already needs it, but it's going to have a lot of your information.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: And unless you privatize it or make it only yours so it can't share it, which probably means not giving it access in the first place, more than likely it's going to be out there for all to see or at least to find if they want to search for it.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: My suggestion is understand the permissions you're giving it and make sure you see how deep the access goes.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: If it's going to be able to look at every single email you've ever generated over time, maybe an issue.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: Also, don't forget, there's people on the other end of those emails.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: There's people that it's going to have access to after that point.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: And if it comes to a marketing and advertising world, you're going to see that start to blow up.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: In real estate, I do know that we used to be able to put our sellers' phone numbers in the MLS for showings.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: That hasn't been something that's been done in a long time.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: Just because that information, although it's supposed to be confidential and private, somehow some entity out there is scraping that data and pulling those numbers to the forefront and using them to solicit real estate sellers with their personal phone numbers.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: Now, fast forward to today, nobody's phone number is really personal or private.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: In fact, with the volume of spam pauls I get, it's remarkable that I'm able to take a normal call.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: They just come in hand over fist.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: Understand the permissions you're giving these systems.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: Right now, it's like you wouldn't really want to give AI your credit card and say, book me a trip to Italy and then just let it run, knowing all it knows about you at this point, because God knows how many tickets it would buy, where it would start you, where it would take you.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: So even if it was given those types of permission, right now it's still required to have a human being in the loop, you yourself, looking at what it's able to produce or what it's able to offer and what it's booked for you before you actually get charged your credit card and have to block out those dates.
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: Watch out for the access you give it.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: Look into those systems before you just run out and say, you know what, I'm gonna go ahead and look, have it look at all my emails to respond in a more diligent, better fashion.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: Be weary.
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: Throwing caution out there for all is really the thing that's best.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: I'm Connor with Honor, AI with Honor.
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: We'll see you in the next one.
