  Speaker 1: in the car, didn't we bother? I was so busy

  Speaker 1: with the camera I didn't even pick up on it.

  Speaker 1: But you violated the contract. That was bad. That was

  Speaker 1: on trist this season The bachelorat and then The Bachelor,

  Speaker 1: I am Janet Pretty and I was on Clayton's season

  Speaker 1: of The Bachelor. Um, I'm reached, Rickia. I was on

  Speaker 1: season six of The Bachelor. Also one of two of

  Speaker 1: Bachelotte season nineteen. For I think we all need to

  Speaker 1: take a second and just recognize that Rachel on Monday

  Speaker 1: Night was on live television on Tuesday was in New

  Speaker 1: York City and tonight, just a twenty four hours later,

  Speaker 1: is sitting in Las Vegas. I told you this earlier, Rachel,

  Speaker 1: and I mean, I hope this is just a fun

  Speaker 1: trip now. I hope it's not too overwhelming. Nobody's expecting

  Speaker 1: anything of you. In fact, multiple people on this couch
• 2:46
  Speaker 1: have been through the show, and so if anything, it's
• 2:49
  Speaker 1: a very safe place. I hope it's a friends parttending
• 2:57
  Speaker 1: to night. I'm ready to go. So uh, just so

  Speaker 1: for everybody's sitting on the couch that didn't know. Uh,

  Speaker 1: we jumped in a car yesterday in Los Angeles in
• 3:06
  Speaker 1: a hun day. Uh. It is the fully electric Hyundai
• 3:09
  Speaker 1: on I five. It is incredible. I mean it is
• 3:11
  Speaker 1: really special if you've never seen inside of it. Very comfortable,
• 3:14
  Speaker 1: very smooth, very safe. We had a great time. We
• 3:18
  Speaker 1: stopped at some cool spots that we're gonna show some
• 3:20
  Speaker 1: pictures of, right MPs. I took some great photos, but
• 3:24
  Speaker 1: photo I was really surprised at some of the angles
• 3:26
  Speaker 1: I got on you guys, and how generous you were
• 3:28
  Speaker 1: with me with the lighting, So thank you. Well. We
• 3:30
  Speaker 1: did a fan pool of who people wanted to see
• 3:32
  Speaker 1: in the photos, and Jason was number one and I'm
• 3:36
  Speaker 1: all worth the camera, so it was nice. It was nice.

  Speaker 1: And the point and click I think really still does
• 3:40
  Speaker 1: a nice job. I think it really does a nice
• 3:42
  Speaker 1: job still. So now for for Jason, Jason, what was

  Speaker 1: one thing yesterday in the road trip that really stood
• 3:48
  Speaker 1: out to you? About the drive? I mean, it's not
• 3:50
  Speaker 1: a long drive. It's like four and a half hours,
• 3:52
  Speaker 1: pretty straight. There are some cool spots, some weird spots,
• 3:55
  Speaker 1: unexpected spots. But what about the road trip did you
• 3:59
  Speaker 1: really love? I think my biggest takeaway was how many
• 4:02
  Speaker 1: times you had to poop in a four hour road trip.
• 4:04
  Speaker 1: It was three stops and I was very surprised by that.
• 4:09
  Speaker 1: But other than that, Ben, I think it was, you know,
• 4:11
  Speaker 1: a scenic There's a lot of like random on the
• 4:13
  Speaker 1: way from l A to Vegas. There's like a big Sunday,
• 4:16
  Speaker 1: there's a Sunday. There's a huge thermometer, there's alien jerky.
• 4:20
  Speaker 1: Were like googling what is alien jerky? Scar. I felt
• 4:23
  Speaker 1: like it was like we were on a museum. It
• 4:25
  Speaker 1: was like a museum. It was it was like a museum.
• 4:27
  Speaker 1: To be fair, guys just to give some like support
• 4:31
  Speaker 1: of me personally. Fantastic, Yeah, thank you. It's very very slow,
• 4:37
  Speaker 1: very sly. But I thought, as they're driving with my
• 4:39
  Speaker 1: grandma a few times, I woke up at four in
• 4:42
  Speaker 1: the morning, I jump in a car. There's not like
• 4:45
  Speaker 1: a lot of like you have to plan that road
• 4:47
  Speaker 1: trip accordingly, Like you don't have a lot of stops
• 4:49
  Speaker 1: along the way. So when you see when you're like,
• 4:51
  Speaker 1: I can take advantage of this stop if possible. And
• 4:53
  Speaker 1: so we stopped and we took pictures then and everybody
• 4:56
  Speaker 1: enjoyed it, and we celebrated, and we got waters, and
• 4:58
  Speaker 1: then we jump back in that car and kept going, Bob,
• 5:00
  Speaker 1: what about for you? The world's biggest ball of yarn?
• 5:03
  Speaker 1: We missed that one, and I wish we hadn't because
• 5:05
  Speaker 1: I loved that Eddies Plaza, that one little bit freaky
• 5:10
  Speaker 1: not gonna lie. A lot of people seem like they
• 5:11
  Speaker 1: might live there. Yeah that's a bad thing. I'm sure
• 5:14
  Speaker 1: I think it might be hot. But um, I did
• 5:17
  Speaker 1: love the thermometer. It didn't seem like it was accurate,
• 5:20
  Speaker 1: you know, there was some stuff. But yeah, much like Jason,
• 5:23
  Speaker 1: I was a little concerned about your your system and
• 5:26
  Speaker 1: what was going out there? I thought, maybe you could
• 5:30
  Speaker 1: nothing left a little fiber in your diet the night before,
• 5:33
  Speaker 1: they got you a little little bit of that's what
• 5:35
  Speaker 1: the what? What was for breakfast or dinner the night before? Nothing?
• 5:38
  Speaker 1: It was? It was It was. When you get older, Adam,
• 5:41
  Speaker 1: you you become a man of rhythm and you have
• 5:44
  Speaker 1: like you know when you're stopping, how you're doing it,
• 5:47
  Speaker 1: what's important to you. So yesterday, wake up at four
• 5:50
  Speaker 1: in the morning, jumping in a car, having a coffee
• 5:52
  Speaker 1: and then driving in a car with your buddies, just
• 5:55
  Speaker 1: you get nervous. You know, the coffee is the real answer,
• 5:59
  Speaker 1: the real It just took us longer, but I didn't
• 6:02
  Speaker 1: hate it. So I always have a theory in my life,
• 6:04
  Speaker 1: um that when I'm driving around town with my buddies,
• 6:08
  Speaker 1: I like to take wrong turns because how often are
• 6:10
  Speaker 1: you stuck in such a beautiful place with some of
• 6:13
  Speaker 1: the people you love the most in the world. And
• 6:15
  Speaker 1: the longer the road trip, in my opinion, the better
• 6:17
  Speaker 1: because you have to have conversation. I'll tell you what
• 6:19
  Speaker 1: we talked about a lot yesterday. We got deep. We
• 6:22
  Speaker 1: talked about Kate, we talked about your season, are. We
• 6:26
  Speaker 1: talked about season. Rachel's season. Oh, Rachel, your season was
• 6:30
  Speaker 1: a big topic. We even want we even looked at
• 6:33
  Speaker 1: some clips in my season which we're all in black
• 6:35
  Speaker 1: and white, and we talked. So it was incredible, incredible
• 6:44
  Speaker 1: time again. We took the fully electric Hunday on five
• 6:47
  Speaker 1: from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. We're here celebrating. Now.

  Speaker 1: I'm gonna turn it over for a second. Adam. I

  Speaker 1: want to talk to you. You're out here, uh here

  Speaker 1: in Vegas, you're performing this evening. You've had an incredible

  Speaker 1: year of success. A lot's happening in your life. How
• 7:03
  Speaker 1: are you feeling, how are you holding up? And also
• 7:05
  Speaker 1: I just want to say thanks for being here. Uh yeah,
• 7:07
  Speaker 1: thanks for having me. I'm feeling great. Uh. We were
• 7:09
  Speaker 1: just talking earlier. It has gone from zero to a
• 7:12
  Speaker 1: hundred over the last year. I went from zero shows
• 7:14
  Speaker 1: to the last you know, the COVID year and everything
• 7:16
  Speaker 1: to now we're back to I don't think I've been
• 7:18
  Speaker 1: home for a weekend in six or seven months or
• 7:20
  Speaker 1: something like that. So it's it's gone back to full speed.
• 7:23
  Speaker 1: And um, we're all really happy to be back. The
• 7:26
  Speaker 1: crowds are really good. It seems like the crowds missed
• 7:28
  Speaker 1: us as much as we missed them, which has been awesome.
• 7:30
  Speaker 1: And um, but yeah, we're out here for the Ihart
• 7:33
  Speaker 1: Music Fest and gonna play some tunes and walk down
• 7:36
  Speaker 1: a red carpet and do all the fun stuff we
• 7:38
  Speaker 1: missed for a couple of a couple of years. You know. Uh,
• 7:40
  Speaker 1: we did just kind of mention, uh that you are
• 7:43
  Speaker 1: in a very serious relationship. In fact, if I'm not mistaken,
• 7:46
  Speaker 1: you're getting married in December. December. Yeah, So how is
• 7:49
  Speaker 1: it being a very successful artist being away from home
• 7:53
  Speaker 1: for six How are you managing your relationship? It's it's difficult. Um,
• 7:58
  Speaker 1: I will say we I was home, I think it
• 8:02
  Speaker 1: was last weekend. Was the first Saturday I've been home.
• 8:04
  Speaker 1: And so however, however many months and we went and
• 8:07
  Speaker 1: we got Hamburgers, and we went to a picnic table
• 8:10
  Speaker 1: in the park and we just had lunch and had
• 8:12
  Speaker 1: a Saturday. And I don't know why it hasn't really
• 8:14
  Speaker 1: hit me before, but like we've never really done that,
• 8:17
  Speaker 1: which is kind of crazy, like if that's not normal
• 8:19
  Speaker 1: to not do that, and most people get weekends and
• 8:22
  Speaker 1: get to hang out, but she has been you know,
• 8:25
  Speaker 1: an incredibly incredible trooper. As far as that goes, just
• 8:28
  Speaker 1: having Monday through Thursdays and then I leave pretty much
• 8:31
  Speaker 1: every weekend. So handling that is it's been tough. It's
• 8:35
  Speaker 1: harder on her, I think, is I'm I'm the one
• 8:36
  Speaker 1: that's out, you know, playing shows and busy and always
• 8:39
  Speaker 1: doing stuff. She's at home with our dog, and you know,
• 8:41
  Speaker 1: obviously we don't get all those weekends. So I did
• 8:44
  Speaker 1: kind of just I have a large respect for her
• 8:47
  Speaker 1: handling that side of things, not getting the weekends and
• 8:50
  Speaker 1: not getting what is normal to most people. Being gone.
• 8:53
  Speaker 1: To me is normal, but to her having a Saturday
• 8:55
  Speaker 1: and a Sunday would be pretty awesome every now and then.
• 8:57
  Speaker 1: So it's good too. It was good to have that,
• 9:01
  Speaker 1: It was good to appreciate that. And then that was
• 9:03
  Speaker 1: one of the positives that came out of COVID. We
• 9:05
  Speaker 1: had a year and a half with no shows and
• 9:08
  Speaker 1: got to spend a lot of time that we would
• 9:10
  Speaker 1: have never had, and we were just dating then, and
• 9:12
  Speaker 1: it's probably a big reason we got engaged and getting
• 9:15
  Speaker 1: getting ready to get married. You know a lot of
• 9:17
  Speaker 1: people that listened to this show are single and they're dating.
• 9:22
  Speaker 1: Um so let's just give a little praise to your
• 9:24
  Speaker 1: fiance for a second. What are some ways with you
• 9:27
  Speaker 1: being on the road and being busy and kind of
• 9:29
  Speaker 1: uh ramping up or you know, really getting out there
• 9:33
  Speaker 1: into the world now with these shows. What are some
• 9:35
  Speaker 1: ways that she's supported you, either with words or with
• 9:39
  Speaker 1: time or gifts? How How have you just felt loved
• 9:42
  Speaker 1: like you can be successful, you can go on the road,
• 9:44
  Speaker 1: you can can continue to travel, uh, knowing that she's
• 9:48
  Speaker 1: supporting you at home. I think the biggest thing for me.
• 9:51
  Speaker 1: The music industry is a roller coaster. It really kind
• 9:54
  Speaker 1: of rides on if this song is doing well. It
• 9:57
  Speaker 1: goes from day to day. I mean, you feel like
• 9:58
  Speaker 1: you're on top of the world. The next day like
• 10:00
  Speaker 1: what am I doing here? It does this at all times,
• 10:02
  Speaker 1: and I think she is incredibly good at She just
• 10:05
  Speaker 1: loves me. She does She would not care if I
• 10:07
  Speaker 1: never sang again. She just she wants to be with
• 10:10
  Speaker 1: me Adam Doliac, not Adam Doleac the singer. And she's
• 10:13
  Speaker 1: been that way since day one. So that's it's always
• 10:16
  Speaker 1: a really nice through line for me. As far as
• 10:18
  Speaker 1: if it's a terrible day in the music industry, if
• 10:20
  Speaker 1: it's a good day, if it's been a great weekend
• 10:22
  Speaker 1: of shows, if it's been a bad weekend of shows,
• 10:24
  Speaker 1: you get home to the same person and that that's
• 10:27
  Speaker 1: been really really important for me. She levels me out
• 10:30
  Speaker 1: in a really great way. I would say, what are
• 10:33
  Speaker 1: some ways that you support her? Um. Communication is probably
• 10:38
  Speaker 1: her biggest thing. She is uh six on the inniogram.
• 10:41
  Speaker 1: I don't know if you guys do do the insiagram.

  Speaker 1: So she is loyalist and loves details, loves the plan.
• 10:46
  Speaker 1: I am not that I I like being on the road.

  Speaker 1: I like travel and I kind of go by the
• 10:50
  Speaker 1: seat of my pants a lot of times. But for
• 10:52
  Speaker 1: her trying to like this weekend out here, like I
• 10:55
  Speaker 1: sent her the schedule for what everything I'm doing while
• 10:58
  Speaker 1: I'm here, she just likes to know. She likes to
• 11:00
  Speaker 1: know what's going on. Same thing with on the road.

  Speaker 1: If I'm doing v I P meet and greets. If
• 11:04
  Speaker 1: I'm gone for three hours, she would rather be uh
• 11:08
  Speaker 1: three hours that she knows where I haven't said at
• 11:09
  Speaker 1: three hours and she's like, I wonder what's going on.
• 11:11
  Speaker 1: She just likes to know details. So trying to keep
• 11:13
  Speaker 1: her and love her the way that she needs to
• 11:16
  Speaker 1: be loved, I think is something that I definitely have
• 11:18
  Speaker 1: had to learn, but sometime I try to do while
• 11:22
  Speaker 1: we're out on the road and busy. What is this
• 11:23
  Speaker 1: scale you're talking about. I've never heard this. I'm a
• 11:27
  Speaker 1: three hard hardcore. What are the iniograms in color and

  Speaker 1: not in black and white? You plug it in. It's
• 11:41
  Speaker 1: like a person like you, you take this test and
• 11:45
  Speaker 1: you find out your number. Um and it's a personality test.

  Speaker 1: And it's been really hopeful for me having the people

  Speaker 1: around me take it because you yes, okay, but you

  Speaker 1: find out what makes people tick, you find out what
• 11:57
  Speaker 1: sets people off. It's great, uh Adam for people sitting

  Speaker 1: and you said something thank you that really stuck out

  Speaker 1: to me. One of the coolest parts about being married

  Speaker 1: to somebody I love is trying to always figure out

  Speaker 1: how I can best and how she can best support

  Speaker 1: me because you want them to feel healthy and happy,

  Speaker 1: which you know doesn't always exist in like dating relationships,

  Speaker 1: it's not always easy. Uh. And it's it's not it's

  Speaker 1: it's hard when you're on the road. I would say
• 12:28
  Speaker 1: one of the hardest things for me is when I'm
• 12:29
  Speaker 1: traveling and I'm gone to figure out how she knows that, like,
• 12:32
  Speaker 1: I'm still thinking about her and i still love her. Um,
• 12:36
  Speaker 1: And so it's really awesome to hear you doing that
• 12:39
  Speaker 1: and you're in it. I mean, that's your life. For
• 12:41
  Speaker 1: those sitting on the couch that don't know, Adam had

  Speaker 1: Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph in one of his music videos. Uh,

  Speaker 1: did you do that because you're a fan of the show.

  Speaker 1: Have you ever seen The Bachelor? I have seen The Bachelor.

  Speaker 1: I've seen Uh, there's no consistency to my watching of it,

  Speaker 1: but I've seen episodes, seasons here and there. Um. But

  Speaker 1: know that did not But that didn't come because of

  Speaker 1: me being a fan of the show. That that that
• 13:03
  Speaker 1: was Colton and Cassie heard this song of mine called Famous.

  Speaker 1: They sent me on Instagram message that they were both

  Speaker 1: in a car singing along with it, and we just
• 13:13
  Speaker 1: kind of mentioned if you all wanted to be in
• 13:15
  Speaker 1: the music video, that'd be great, and they were like,
• 13:17
  Speaker 1: we'd love to, and they just they showed up in
• 13:18
  Speaker 1: Nashville and they came and did the video. I actually
• 13:21
  Speaker 1: met them for the first time on set at the video. Yeah.
• 13:26
  Speaker 1: That that that is. And So if somebody asked you,
• 13:28
  Speaker 1: or if the show called you next week and said,
• 13:30
  Speaker 1: would you come on The Bachelor and perform a song?
• 13:33
  Speaker 1: What song would you choose? Um? Right now, man, it

  Speaker 1: would probably be I have a song called Another that
• 13:42
  Speaker 1: has become more people's first dance on than I could
• 13:45
  Speaker 1: have ever imagined. Um, that's been really cool. Actually, during COVID,
• 13:50
  Speaker 1: I get probably twenty messages a day on Instagram saying, Hey,
• 13:53
  Speaker 1: will you please show up and play this song at
• 13:54
  Speaker 1: my wedding? And I normally can't do it because we're
• 13:57
  Speaker 1: out on the road playing somewhere else and I just
• 13:59
  Speaker 1: can't do it. During COVID, I kept getting all these
• 14:02
  Speaker 1: messages and I realized, I was like, we don't have
• 14:04
  Speaker 1: any shows, so we might as well go show up
• 14:06
  Speaker 1: at some weddings and crash these weddings. So yeah, so
• 14:10
  Speaker 1: I started sending him to my manager and Wei, we
• 14:13
  Speaker 1: picked like ten or fifteen, and normally it was the groom. Surprising,
• 14:20
  Speaker 1: it was people that would be using the song already
• 14:22
  Speaker 1: and the DJ would start it and then they cut
• 14:23
  Speaker 1: it off and they'd be like, you know, it would
• 14:25
  Speaker 1: be cooler is if Adam just came out and played
• 14:27
  Speaker 1: it and we surprised a bunch of people. It was.
• 14:29
  Speaker 1: It was really fun. How fun is that? It was
• 14:33
  Speaker 1: really fun? Yeah. I still talk about it on stage
• 14:35
  Speaker 1: every night. It allowed me to be a part of
• 14:36
  Speaker 1: a lot of really cool moments and they'll talk about
• 14:39
  Speaker 1: that for the rest a Yeah, like that's that's a
• 14:41
  Speaker 1: concerts are incredible. We've all been to him, you know,
• 14:44
  Speaker 1: but having you come out at your wedding they will
• 14:46
  Speaker 1: be a moment they speak about forever. Yeah. And the
• 14:49
  Speaker 1: surprise element of it was just so fun. Yeah. Well

  Speaker 1: to close out here, you know, a lot of people
• 15:06
  Speaker 1: in the couch are fans of yours. Were excited to

  Speaker 1: hear you play tonight. Um really pumped to just be
• 15:12
  Speaker 1: able to, like we said, take a deep breath and

  Speaker 1: celebrate together and have a great evening. But you know,

  Speaker 1: before you were out touring, you were writing music. Uh,
• 15:19
  Speaker 1: And I think that's one of the coolest things that
• 15:21
  Speaker 1: I found out about you is you've written for a
• 15:22
  Speaker 1: lot of really legendary artists who you know, have you
• 15:26
  Speaker 1: written for that would make a bit of everybody on
• 15:28
  Speaker 1: the couch, gonna go WHOA And then who's mentored you
• 15:31
  Speaker 1: to the journey now that you're out to it on
• 15:33
  Speaker 1: your own? Um, let's see. I mean Hoodie and the
• 15:37
  Speaker 1: Blowfish is a is a pretty pretty random one to
• 15:40
  Speaker 1: have a cut, and that that was one of those
• 15:42
  Speaker 1: things I never imagined actually happening, getting a hooting and
• 15:44
  Speaker 1: the Blowfish cut. But I actually thought Darius name was
• 15:47
  Speaker 1: Hoodie for years, didn't I didn't realized. But I got
• 15:51
  Speaker 1: to write a song for Darius Rucker as Darius Rucker
• 15:53
  Speaker 1: and Hoodie and the Blowfish as well. And then um
• 15:56
  Speaker 1: Kane Brown of uh buddy of mine if we've written
• 15:59
  Speaker 1: some songs together there and he's obviously doing really well now.

  Speaker 1: a private jet and they rented out Caesar's Palace. This

  Speaker 1: back in the day, you know a little bit. But yeah,

  Speaker 1: it was really fun. And we had the president of

  Speaker 1: Sweet at a different hotel that isn't this one. And

  Speaker 1: I would say I like this one much better, but

  Speaker 1: that one was a lot of fun too, and it

  Speaker 1: was it was an awesome night, and then you know,

  Speaker 1: you'll you'll really relate to this as well as well

  Speaker 1: then of course, But then, you know, you don't realize

  Speaker 1: when you come home on a jet from something like

  Speaker 1: that at five in the morning, that then they've immediately

  Speaker 1: scheduled a hot air balloon ride for you with four

  Speaker 1: other girls at six of them, you know. So you

  Speaker 1: come over that trip and you're like, oh my god,

  Speaker 1: I can't wait to go to bed, and they have

  Speaker 1: you do your I T M s and stuff, and

  Speaker 1: then all of a sudden you're on a hot air

  Speaker 1: balloon with four I know, but I will tell you

  Speaker 1: much like now. The thing about Vegas that I've learned

  Speaker 1: is that a little bit of oxygen and a whole
• 20:30
  Speaker 1: lot of vodka can get you through pretty much anything.

  Speaker 1: That's what I learned. It served me very well. That

  Speaker 1: and occasional donkey kicks here and again, thank you. Does

  Speaker 1: not kidding this half hour, these two were miserable. So

  Speaker 1: she's got to work, and she's and she works in nightlife,

  Speaker 1: so all the clubs. I think that's probably why I

  Speaker 1: like clubs. I started going to all the club openings

  Speaker 1: with her. Um but anyway, yeah, I would go back

  Speaker 1: and forth a lot of weekends. And when you're doing

  Speaker 1: it over the period of time, like we're doing it,

  Speaker 1: which is, you know, we drive in on a Wednesday

  Speaker 1: or a Thursday, and you stayed all Sunday, perfectly fine

  Speaker 1: when you're doing it. When you come in on a

  Speaker 1: Friday and you go back on a Sunday, nightmare. Absolute
