- 0:22Speaker 2: A guy crosses the border on a bicycle with two
- 0:25Speaker 2: bags over his shoulder. The guard stops him and asks
- 0:30Speaker 2: what's in the bags? Nothing but sand, sir. So he
- 0:36Speaker 2: examines the bags and indeed, it's nothing but sand. Okay,
- 0:41Speaker 2: you're clear. Move on. Two weeks later, the same thing.
- 0:47Speaker 2: So this guy goes on for months. Every two weeks,
- 0:51Speaker 2: same bags, same sand, and they find nothing and it
- 0:56Speaker 2: drives them nuts. So finally, one day one of the
- 1:00Speaker 2: guards can't take it anymore and he follows the guy.
- 1:04Speaker 2: So he sees him sitting at a cafe with his
- 1:08Speaker 2: two bags of sand. He steps up to him and says, listen, buddy,
- 1:15Speaker 2: you got us crazy down at the office. Please please
- 1:19Speaker 2: please tell me what is it you're smuggling. I know
- 1:23Speaker 2: it must be something. I swear I won't tell anyone.
- 1:28Speaker 2: So the guy takes a sip from his drink, lifts
- 1:32Speaker 2: his head and looks at him and says, bicycles. Comparison
- 1:45Speaker 2: is a great thief of joy. If we choose to compare,
- 1:50Speaker 2: there will always be someone somewhere who seems to have
- 1:54Speaker 2: it better and easier. We can threaten our joy when
- 1:59Speaker 2: we waste enter comparing ourselves to others. We will talk
- 2:03Speaker 2: about this in this week's episode of Positively three sixty five,
- 2:08Speaker 2: and this, my friends, is the three hundredth episode. But
- 2:15Speaker 2: first we have our trivia question of the day. Are
- 2:18Speaker 2: you ready for it? Here? It is what is the
- 2:23Speaker 2: most abundant gas in Earth's atmosphere? We will have the

- 4:28Speaker 2: Do you know the answer to this week's trivia question?
- 4:32Speaker 2: The question was what is the most abundant gas in
- 4:36Speaker 2: Earth's atmosphere? The answer the most abundant gas in Earth's
- 4:42Speaker 2: atmosphere is nitrogen, which makes up about seventy eight percent
- 4:47Speaker 2: of the atmosphere by volume. Nitrogen is a colorless, odorless
- 4:53Speaker 2: gas which is inert, meaning it doesn't readily react with
- 4:58Speaker 2: other elements or compounds under normal conditions. This stability is
- 5:04Speaker 2: one of the reasons nitrogen is used in various industrial applications,
- 5:09Speaker 2: such as preserving food, creating controlled environments, and the production
- 5:16Speaker 2: of fertilizers. The most abundant gas in our atmosphere nitrogen,
- 5:23Speaker 2: Now you know. Comparison is a thief of joy, suggesting
- 5:35Speaker 2: that measuring our worth or happiness against others often leads
- 5:40Speaker 2: to dissatisfaction. When we focus on what others have or achieve,
- 5:46Speaker 2: we fail to appreciate our own unique gifts and strengths
- 5:50Speaker 2: and progress. Instead of celebrating personal growth and accomplishments, we
- 5:56Speaker 2: fixate on the gap between ourselves and others, eating to
- 6:00Speaker 2: feelings of inadequacy and frustration. Constant comparison can distort our
- 6:06Speaker 2: sense of fulfillment, making us feel as though we are
- 6:10Speaker 2: always falling short. This mindset also robs us of gratitude.
- 6:16Speaker 2: When we are busy measuring ourselves against others, we overlook
- 6:20Speaker 2: the small victories and the blessings we already have. Everyone's
- 6:26Speaker 2: journey is different and success is subjective. Focusing on our
- 6:31Speaker 2: own path, growth and happiness, rather than comparing it to
- 6:35Speaker 2: someone else's, allows us to find joy in the present
- 6:39Speaker 2: moment and develop a deeper sense of self worth. You
- 6:56Speaker 2: can seem like a millionaire to one person and a
- 7:00Speaker 2: homeless person to the next. The ants think you are
- 7:05Speaker 2: a giant and the trees don't even notice you. You
- 7:10Speaker 2: think you have a boring life, but the next person
- 7:14Speaker 2: might be striving for your lifestyle. Comparison is the thief
- 7:20Speaker 2: of joy, So stay kind and keep loving life. Be grateful.
- 7:27Speaker 2: A happy life is a matter of perspective.
