• 0:45
Speaker 1: Welcome back to another episode on the podcast.
• 0:51
Speaker 1: Today, we're going to talk about this new moon that's happening on Saturday, and we're going to talk a little bit about the transits that are coming up next week, because this little portal that we're in right now is so powerful.
• 1:04
Speaker 1: It's like a little manifestation portal, because we have a new moon in Virgo that's happening at zero degrees of Virgo on Saturday Friday, depending on your time zone and then at the end of Virgo season, so right before the sun moves into Libra.
• 1:23
Speaker 1: We have another new moon in Virgo, at 29 degrees of Virgo, which is also an eclipse, and so there's these two Virgo cycles that are happening and it's just really powerful.
• 1:36
Speaker 1: So we're going to get into that.
• 1:37
Speaker 1: We're going to talk a little bit about manifestation, one thing I've been saying for months.
• 1:42
Speaker 1: Actually, before we get into it, I just want to say if you did not join the New Moon Circle, you can get the replay for that.
• 1:49
Speaker 1: I'll leave the link below where we go through.
• 1:51
Speaker 1: We have journal prompts for that.
• 1:53
Speaker 1: There's meditation, eft, tapping and just really going over the transits from a very broad big perspective.
• 2:01
Speaker 1: So we get into everything that's going on because there's a lot going on astrologically.
• 2:07
Speaker 1: I know we've been saying it for a long time, but we really are going.
• 2:11
Speaker 1: There's just there is a lot happening.
• 2:13
Speaker 1: And so, going back to the new moon, we have this Virgo to moon, have this Virgo to moon.
• 2:22
Speaker 1: The sun moves into Virgo on Friday and Virgo is organization.
• 2:34
Speaker 1: Virgo is a mutable earth sign and I love.
• 2:35
Speaker 1: I was just on a new moon circle call with Jana Romer.
• 2:36
Speaker 1: She has been on the podcast and if you don't know her, she's an incredible astrologer, definitely one of my mentors and she was talking about this mutable energy of Virgo.
• 2:43
Speaker 1: And she was talking about this mutable energy of Virgo.
• 2:48
Speaker 1: And when we think about Virgo being an earth sign, right, it is about the digestive system, the immune system, because it's all linked in together.
• 2:52
Speaker 1: And so when we think about the digestive system, right, we're taking external things, moving them internal and digesting it through our system and, again, with it being an earth sign, and Virgo is one of those, it's right at the end, before we move into the fall equinox, right.
• 3:09
Speaker 1: So it's this changing of seasons from summer to fall.
• 3:12
Speaker 1: But when we think about earth and plants and digestion and food, we're taking these plants from earth, grown up on earth, we're taking these things of the earth and we're putting them into our body.
• 3:25
Speaker 1: And when we eat really clean, healthy food that serves us, we are creating an internal change, right.
• 3:32
Speaker 1: So I loved that twist on sort of that mutable energy.
• 3:35
Speaker 1: Mutable is when something is shifting, it's changing, right, and so it is this energy of going from summer to fall.
• 3:43
Speaker 1: But also, we're taking these things, these external things, internally and we're shifting it.
• 3:46
Speaker 1: We're changing our body, we're changing what happens inside, right, our digestive system, the gut, what is linked to the gut.
• 3:55
Speaker 1: When we have an unhealthy gut, we tend to struggle with our mental health, because that gut-brain axis right, that gut, is known as the second brain.
• 4:03
Speaker 1: Virgo also holds the archetype of the virgin, and this is all happening in gate 59 in human design.
• 4:08
Speaker 1: So these are really linked up closely, which is why I'm mentioning that now.
• 4:12
Speaker 1: And gate 59 is the gate of intimacy, and so when we think about the virgin archetype, it's not so much sex related it can be, but it's not necessarily what it means it's this purification, it's this purity that we can bring in.
• 4:26
Speaker 1: And so when we think about this has two pieces to it, right, but one.
• 4:32
Speaker 1: It's like we are being asked to come into ourselves and be good with ourselves, to be comfortable with ourselves.
• 4:41
Speaker 1: Right, we're asking to purify, and I've been saying it for so long.
• 4:45
Speaker 1: What are the quality of your thoughts?
• 4:47
Speaker 1: Because Virgo is Mercury rules, so we are analyzing, whereas Gemini the other sign that Mercury rules Gemini is fact-finding, it's curiosity, it's collecting information, it's asking the questions, whereas Virgo is more.
• 5:02
Speaker 1: Now we have the facts, now we're analyzing it, we're thinking about it, right?
• 5:06
Speaker 1: So I've been again, I've been asking this for so long what are the quality of your thoughts, right, what are you?
• 5:14
Speaker 1: Because when we think about digestion, when we think about things, we're taking in from the outside and transforming and transmuting in our body.
• 5:21
Speaker 1: This doesn't just have to do with our food.
• 5:23
Speaker 1: We're consuming information everywhere we turn the news friends, just people out in public, teachers, coaches.
• 5:32
Speaker 1: We're consuming social media right, we're taking in so much and it truly impacts the way that we think, right, and the way that we think impacts the way that we feel.
• 5:43
Speaker 1: The way that we feel impacts the way that we do things, and then the way that we do things creates habits, and Virgo is habits and daily routines.
• 5:52
Speaker 1: It's the mundane, it's the day-to-day things that can either support us and serve us or can hinder us and hurt us.
• 5:59
Speaker 1: So through this whole season, we're really being asked like what are your habits, what are your routines, what are the quality of your thoughts?
• 6:08
Speaker 1: What are you taking into your body, right?
• 6:10
Speaker 1: So, again, like this whole health piece to Virgo, it's not just your physical body, it's just everything that you're consuming.
• 6:25
Speaker 1: Purity theme, right, it's like being good with yourself.
• 6:26
Speaker 1: And the thing with Virgo is because we're moving into Libra season.
• 6:27
Speaker 1: And what is Libra?
• 6:28
Speaker 1: Libra is relationships, right, we're moving from this part of the zodiac where we've gone through the eye, we're building things, we're figuring out who we are, we're nurturing ourselves, like all these things, where we're going through this whole like eye-centered half of the zodiac, and then we move into Libra where we're now we-centered right, we're focused on relationships.
• 6:47
Speaker 1: So, virgo being that mutable last piece to the I, it's like we're perfecting ourselves to enter into relationship in the best version of ourselves.
• 6:58
Speaker 1: And so when we go through the season, we're really looking at ourselves and you know, we know that cleaning up our body, cleaning up our mind, cleaning up our routines, cleaning up our habits right going to the gym, moving our body, eating right, cooking at home all of these things that purify and clean and support our body then allows us to show up in relationship in a more empowered way.
• 7:23
Speaker 1: Because anytime you're doing the work, be it alone or in relationship, you can only work on yourself.
• 7:30
Speaker 1: We can't poke and prod our partner to be like, hey, you need to do this, hey, you need to do that.
• 7:34
Speaker 1: Right, and think about kids.
• 7:35
Speaker 1: You tell kids to do something, but unless you're doing it and you're embodying it, they're not going to pay attention, right, it's not going to seep in in the same way, but when you're embodying it, like I will tell you the last few months that I've been meditating twice a day, I've just been a lot calmer, I've been more present.
• 7:51
Speaker 1: Of course, there are still areas that can be worked on, but I've noticed me coming inside and doing that work has shifted.
• 8:00
Speaker 1: The way I show up in my family with my kids has shifted, the way that they act, right.
• 8:07
Speaker 1: And so that in itself, that, I feel like, is what that archetype holds for Virgo.
• 8:12
Speaker 1: It's you coming inside, purifying yourself, right, seeing what serves you, what's working, what's not, how you can support yourself better, how we can clean up our body, how we can clean up our mind, right, all of these things to then enter into Libra season, where we're now entering into, ideally, a relationship where we are a higher version of ourselves, where we're able to show up and hold the space because we've done the work and we're not constantly triggered or projecting or any of those things right?
• 8:42
Speaker 1: And so, virgo, really is this internal look into all of those things right, like what's supporting us?
• 8:47
Speaker 1: How can we do better?
• 8:48
Speaker 1: And with this new moon, it's really there's so much going on and again, if you watch the replay.
• 8:54
Speaker 1: I share the chart so you can really get an in-depth view.
• 8:59
Speaker 1: But big picture we.
• 9:03
Speaker 1: So this new moon the new moon is when the sun and the moon are conjunct and the new moon is square to Uranus and Gemini, and squares are more challenging aspects that are calling us to take action, to do something right.
• 9:17
Speaker 1: And Uranus and Gemini is radically changing the way that we think, the way that we perceive things, because the way that we think, the way that we perceive things, because the way that we think is the way that we perceive things, and the way that we perceive things creates our reality.
• 9:30
Speaker 1: And if we want to create a new reality, we have to think and perceive things differently.
• 9:35
Speaker 1: We have to shift the way that we think and perceive things.
• 9:37
Speaker 1: So there's that Uranus is shock, right.
• 9:41
Speaker 1: So there is this element of unpredictability and instability to a sign that values.
• 9:48
Speaker 1: All Earth signs value safety and security in some way, and so it's bringing instability, it's bringing a little bit of shock, but Uranus is the great awakener.
• 10:00
Speaker 1: Uranus is truth, and so it might be challenging us to come inside and do that purification work and get to the truth and create awareness around the things that maybe we're not seeing or we're avoiding or we need to implement, right At the end of the new moon circle with Jan Romer and there are journal prompts as well inside of the new moon circle.
• 10:25
Speaker 1: That's down below the link at the replay.
• 10:28
Speaker 1: So, yeah, so Uranus is supporting us in seeing that truth inside of us, the things that we're avoiding, the things that we need to let go of, the things that we're calling in and in order to call in, we know that we have to create space to call in new things, right?
• 10:42
Speaker 1: So, looking around at your habits, your daily routines, what is supporting you and what is not supporting you, one practice that Jana left at the end of the circle that I absolutely love was, for five days, every single morning, write what you want your day to look like, and it doesn't have to be huge, it can just be like I want to go to the gym, I want to cook a home cooked meal, I want to clean the house, I want to whatever it is.
• 11:07
Speaker 1: And then, at the end of your night, journal how your day looked like and see what the difference is.
• 11:12
Speaker 1: Right, I have noticed that.
• 11:15
Speaker 1: So I journal every evening where I was aligned and where I felt like I lost myself and over the last week or two that I've been in this practice.
• 11:26
Speaker 1: I've been in this practice longer than a week or two, but over the last week or two I've more so noticed that I've lost myself in scrolling.
• 11:32
Speaker 1: I'll get on to post something and then I end up scrolling for a little bit, and so that's something that I know during this Virgo season, which is a season that is supporting us in implementing new routines and habits or just really looking at it and creating awareness or in amplifying right Like shining a light on it, that's something I want to have more boundaries on with myself is not being on the phone all the time, not scrolling right If I get on to post, maybe even just having a pocket of time, giving myself an hour in the evening and you know 30 minutes, or whatever.
• 12:02
Speaker 1: It may be setting more boundaries around when I show up online and how I show up online.
• 12:08
Speaker 1: I mean, over the last couple months, I have just so drastically changed my life in so many different ways.
• 12:15
Speaker 1: It's crazy that I have implemented a lot of supportive habits and routines, but of course there are a lot that I have implemented a lot of supportive habits and routines, but of course there are a lot that I can still clean up and implement.
• 12:23
Speaker 1: There's things that maybe I'm not seeing.
• 12:25
Speaker 1: That, with your honor, supporting this will allow us then to come in and see, because it is shock, it's truth, right, it's going to bring to the surface these things that maybe we're not seeing otherwise.
• 12:35
  Speaker 1: Right.
• 12:35
Speaker 1: And so, approaching with an open mind and an open heart and this is gate 59, which is what the new moon and the sun are in during the new moon is gate 59, gate of intimacy the shadow of gate 59 is dishonesty.
• 12:50
Speaker 1: And so this is really, first and foremost where are you being dishonest with yourself, right?
• 12:56
Speaker 1: Where are you being dishonest with yourself around, whatever it may, be right, the gift is an intimacy, and so the gift is as we go through all of this stuff, as we go through our shadows.
• 13:11
Speaker 1: So, as we're navigating this question, where am I being dishonest with myself?
• 13:15
Speaker 1: As we're navigating these shadows?
• 13:16
Speaker 1: And trauma and ancestral trauma and all these things that come up as we're navigating that, and trauma and ancestral trauma and all these things that come up as we're navigating that, you know, because in every shadow there is a gift, and Richard Rudd says this over and over and over through the Gene Keys sequences.
• 13:27
Speaker 1: So as we're navigating these, things are going to come up that are uncomfortable.
• 13:31
Speaker 1: Right, it's not about avoiding it, it's really just being with it.
• 13:33
Speaker 1: And one thing I've learned over the last few months is that being with the shadow, being with the pain, doesn't mean that we're amplifying it.
• 13:42
Speaker 1: It means that we're being with it and we're sitting with it and we're neutralizing ourself.
• 13:48
Speaker 1: Right In the Gene Keys, richard Rudd says and I can't remember, I think it was about the core wound he was talking about, but he talks about when you're with that shadow.
• 13:58
Speaker 1: Right, we're actually focusing on when we close our eyes, whatever that shadow is for you, right, if you close your eyes and you sit with that shadow and you're like man, this is painful, this hurts, this sucks, right, because what is the saying?
• 14:10
Speaker 1: The pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.
• 14:12
Speaker 1: So when we're sitting with that pain, that is inevitable.
• 14:14
Speaker 1: When we're diving into these shadows of like, oh my gosh, I continue to procrastinate, I continue to not do the thing, I continue to shy away, or I continue to not show up, or I continue to get frustrated with my kids, I continue.
• 14:24
Speaker 1: Whatever it is when you've created awareness, whatever that thing is, we're sitting with it.
• 14:29
Speaker 1: And it's not about, again, it's not about amplifying the shadow, it's about tapping in.
• 14:34
Speaker 1: So, for me, when I meditate and I tap in, I tap into the space in my heart and I could just feel my essence right, that pure, that virgin archetype right, but that pure essence of who I am at my core, in my heart, and it's just love, it's the consciousness, right, love, consciousness, that's really all it is when you tap into that space.
• 14:52
Speaker 1: And so, again, when you sit with your pain and you sit with your shadows, it's not amplifying those, it's being with them, it's being in them, it's not avoiding them, it's not pushing them away, it's not trying to do anything about them, but it's focusing on that light, right, it's more amplifying that light in the midst of that pain.
• 15:13
Speaker 1: And so that's really where the magic is and where I think I find.
• 15:19
Speaker 1: I know over the last few months that I've really been meditating at least twice, sometimes multiple times a day, because I'm going through something, or if something comes up, or I feel triggered, or I notice a thought, because I've been really aware of my thoughts and the quality of my thoughts, or if I'm losing myself, like if I'm sitting there and scrolling on social media.
• 15:36
Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, why, and just be with it, but like and focusing on that place in my chest that I feel that and just breathing into that helps neutralize it and then I can see it from a neutral perspective and I can work through it.
• 15:54
  Speaker 1: I can.
• 15:54
Speaker 1: I've been journaling like crazy, like my journal is just like pages of just my thoughts and my feelings and getting it out.
• 15:59
Speaker 1: But then, like I come to this neutral space and then I can objectively see it and then know that I need to take action steps.
• 16:05
Speaker 1: So it's really transformed so much of the way that I think and operate.
• 16:10
Speaker 1: And so I share that because if you're, you know, as we're navigating this new moon, there's a lot that's supporting us.
• 16:17
Speaker 1: That is very supportive.
• 16:19
Speaker 1: So this square, so the moon and the sun square to Uranus that's a challenging aspect, but most, most of the other aspects are actually very supportive Right before the new moon.
• 16:32
Speaker 1: Venus is square to Chiron, which is another challenging aspect.
• 16:36
Speaker 1: But Venus is bringing in our values and Chiron is.
• 16:39
Speaker 1: You know, chiron is our wounded healer, right?
• 16:42
Speaker 1: So I do think about the core wound a lot in the gene keys, if you know what your core wound is, and it's not to say that either of these planets are in that core wound.
• 16:49
Speaker 1: They might be, but it's just the idea of Chiron that wounded.
• 16:53
Speaker 1: This is asking us where our values lie first and foremost, but it's asking us to do that work around our self-assertiveness or just who we are, because Aries is I am, aries is self-leadership, aries is action, aries is the warrior energy.
• 17:23
Speaker 1: We're fighting for something, ideally a good cause, but we're fighting for something.
• 17:27
Speaker 1: And so Venus in aspect and in a challenging square right to Chiron, it's really bringing up these themes of like, kind of like.
• 17:36
  Speaker 1: Who am I?
• 17:36
Speaker 1: What do I value Right, like, can I speak on those?
• 17:39
Speaker 1: Why am I not speaking on those Right?
• 17:41
Speaker 1: How can I find my own self-leadership in this?
• 17:43
Speaker 1: And it could show up in your relationships.
• 17:45
Speaker 1: As you know, trans find my own self-leadership in this and it could show up in your relationships.
• 17:47
Speaker 1: As you know, transits are collective energy, so it could be something.
• 17:49
Speaker 1: It all really depends on where it shows up in your chart.
• 17:51
Speaker 1: So, even with the new moon, notice where Virgo is in your chart and that's the area of life this will mostly be impacting.
• 17:59
Speaker 1: And let me see what else is going on with this new moon that I'm going to talk about here, because.
• 18:04
Speaker 1: So there's that square to Chiron moon that I'm going to talk about here.
• 18:11
Speaker 1: So there's that square to Chiron Next week we are going to move.
• 18:12
Speaker 1: Okay, so what I wrote down for gate 59 dishonesty this is peeling back the layers of your pain and wounding and moving through it, and I wrote this feels very Chiron and with Chiron being activated in Venus, this is really really linked in here.
• 18:25
Speaker 1: Venus next week is going to be opposite Pluto and Venus is opposite to Pluto next week.
• 18:33
Speaker 1: It is loosely opposite to Pluto during this transit, so Venus is being activated in a lot of challenging ways, but Venus opposite to Pluto is really just bringing intensity.
• 18:45
Speaker 1: This is like I think Jana said it way back in like January or some other new moon, and she was like this is obsessive love, right, because this is like intense and it is obsessive and it is power and control, because that's what Pluto represents as well.
• 19:00
Speaker 1: And so, with that just being aware of like that's happening, venus is also entering Leo on Monday, the 25th.
• 19:08
Speaker 1: This is also the same day that Mercury is leaving its retro shade period, so we'll really feel like we can move forward in the areas of Mercury and Leo, venus and Leo again values morals, relationships, aesthetics, money, material things.
• 19:26
Speaker 1: And Leo is bold, it is creativity, it is self-expression.
• 19:30
Speaker 1: Right, leo is ruled by the sun, it's the brightest thing in the sky, so it's like look at me, see me, I as a Leo moon and rising.
• 19:38
Speaker 1: I love when Venus is in Leo because it just feels like very big expressive energy in relationships and I love love, so I love to like feel that energy.
• 19:47
Speaker 1: So that's what's happening on Monday, venus will also be in trying to Saturn and Aries and this is a supportive aspect.
• 19:57
Speaker 1: Saturn is retrograde and so Saturn Aries is kind of just like slow your roll, let's, let's set a foundation here, let's figure this out before we like move forward and take action.
• 20:08
Speaker 1: We have let's see what else is going on next week.
• 20:12
Speaker 1: So yeah, on the 27th Venus is going to be opposite to Pluto, so again, just sort of that like obsessive, intense kind of energy, and it doesn't mean like obsessive, you know whatever take it for, for whatever that means, and again, it's so important of where in your chart these aspects are, um, but that'll be really important.
• 20:33
Speaker 1: And then there are some other uh aspects next week.
• 20:38
Speaker 1: Definitely get on the newsletter.
• 20:39
Speaker 1: If you're not on the newsletter.
• 20:40
Speaker 1: That's like the biggest one that I wanted to make sure I talked about.
• 20:44
Speaker 1: But again, with this new, with this new moon at zero degrees of Virgo and the next new moon at 29 degrees of Virgo, this is a really powerful manifestation portal.
• 20:55
Speaker 1: Now, next month, in September, we have it's eclipse season.
• 21:01
Speaker 1: We're already in the energy of eclipse season, but that's when the eclipses are happening, and so eclipses again they bring chaos, sort of unstable energy, like they say you know, don't charge your crystals, you know whatever Don't manifest.
• 21:15
Speaker 1: Don't manifest during eclipse season.
• 21:17
Speaker 1: I always say trust yourself, experiment, you got to figure it out yourself right To like know what to and what not to do.
• 21:24
Speaker 1: It depends what's happening in your chart, what's going on.
• 21:27
Speaker 1: But also we are always manifesting right.
• 21:30
Speaker 1: But it's like where are you manifesting?
• 21:32
  Speaker 1: From?
• 21:32
  Speaker 1: Lack or abundance?
• 21:34
Speaker 1: So to say like don't do the manifestation work.
• 21:37
Speaker 1: It's like we're always doing the manifestation work, regardless of whether you're conscious of it or not.
• 21:42
Speaker 1: But again, this is two like moon cycles that that were able to tap into this Virgo energy.
• 21:49
Speaker 1: So, again, everything I said before about like purifying, like really assessing your routines, like what's supporting you, what's not supporting you, um, can be so, so helpful during this time.
• 22:00
Speaker 1: And yeah, I'm, I have a Virgo in my second house, so this always feels like I don't know the word home is coming to me, which it just I feel like Virgo.
• 22:16
Speaker 1: When I can get my shit right with Virgo, everything feels better, right, I'm more confident, I have more self-worth, I just like feel good in that area of life, and so it's also interesting.
• 22:29
Speaker 1: This is the one.
• 22:29
Speaker 1: So I have what they call a t-square, which means that all mutable signs are in square to each other.
• 22:35
Speaker 1: So I have venus and gemini square to jupiter and pisces square to uranus in sagittarius, and the only thing that's missing is some sort of Virgo planet.
• 22:45
Speaker 1: So it's like I have all of this pressure in my chart and then Virgo would complete that.
• 22:52
Speaker 1: So it feels like this sort of incomplete pressure, missing energy that I have, and so I do enjoy when there is something in Virgo moving through Virgo, because it highlights sort of those themes for me.
• 23:05
Speaker 1: It gives me a little bit more clarity on, like how I can move forward on those things, and I'm already sort of starting to feel that energy.
• 23:11
Speaker 1: So it feels good and again, I partly just noticing my patterns, noticing my cycles and doing the work and just feeling really grounded and feeling really more authentic.
• 23:24
Speaker 1: And I think that's the whole point, right, we all want freedom, we all want authenticity, we all want to be ourselves in the world in whatever way that looks.
• 23:31
Speaker 1: And yeah, so I don't know, that's the main things that are happening in this week.
• 23:41
Speaker 1: With the new moon that's happening.
• 23:42
Speaker 1: And again, if you want to catch the new moon circle replay, the link is in the show notes.

• 24:03

• 24:16
Speaker 1: So anyway, all that is down below the your Sacred Unraveling membership is $22 a month.
