- 0:26Speaker 1: What has happened?
- 0:28Speaker 3: Anyway, I ran four miles on Monday in my legs.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Like sitting down, standing up, stairs.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Nope.
- 0:35Speaker 5: Ate it.
- 0:35Speaker 1: That's it. Hey, you want to go for a run

- 0:41Speaker 4: You just keep waiting.
- 0:42Speaker 1: We'll do five miles.
- 0:43Speaker 5: You go ahead, and whenever you get to the fifth
- 0:46Speaker 5: mile and you don't see me by then, I've already
- 0:48Speaker 5: beat you. I'm already waiting on.
- 0:52Speaker 4: You at the end.
- 0:53Speaker 1: All right.
- 0:53Speaker 5: You're good?
- 0:54Speaker 1: What's going on in your life? Got anything you want
- 0:56Speaker 1: to talk about? You got 30 seconds.
- 0:58Speaker 4: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:00Speaker 1: You don't have to.
- 1:01Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:02Speaker 4: Oh, gosh. You put me on the spot this morning.
- 1:06Speaker 1: We're good.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:07Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, we're good.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Good morning. On the way, we're going to talk about
- 1:10Speaker 1: my therapy.
- 1:10Speaker 3: Producer Blake's church had to change their whole rules because
- 1:13Speaker 3: of him.
- 1:15Speaker 1: What the hell headlines? Crazy things people are doing in
- 1:18Speaker 1: the news. We got a full show today, so just
- 1:21Speaker 1: keep listening.
- 1:21Speaker 4: It's going to be a day.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Anyway, good morning. Thank you for being here. Call in
- 1:25Speaker 1: if you want. 833-501-BAMA is the number. Good morning.
- 1:29Speaker 6: Stop.
- 1:29Speaker 1: It's what the hell headlines. What the hell are you
- 1:32Speaker 1: talking about?
- 1:33Speaker 2: On the Alabama show.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Big Bird asked the world how people are doing, and
- 1:38Speaker 3: they're all really depressed. What the hell?
- 1:42Speaker 4: I mean, to be fair, we are all adults here.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 1:45Speaker 3: Big Bird went on social media, and he said, how
- 1:48Speaker 3: are you doing today?
- 1:49Speaker 1: People were, like, going so.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Hard on Big Bird. You know Big Bird from Sesame Street.
- 1:55Speaker 3: He said, not great, Big Bird. Lots of great people
- 1:58Speaker 3: passing as of late. It's been a real downer. Another
- 2:02Speaker 3: one said, Big.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Bird, stay inside. Death might come for you, too. People
- 2:08Speaker 1: are so depressing.
- 2:10Speaker 4: I know.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Big Bird's just trying to make the world be happy. Also,
- 2:14Speaker 1: Big Bird's on Twitter, if you didn't know. I'm sorry, X.
- 2:16Speaker 1: We can't say Twitter anymore.
- 2:18Speaker 4: That's true. Get with the times.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Anyway, how are you doing today?
- 2:21Speaker 4: Not too well. People are going too soon.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Super easy trivia with The Alabama Show.
- 2:28Speaker 3: 833-501-BAMA is the number to call the show.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Collette, good morning. Where are you calling from? Calera. Oh,
- 2:36Speaker 1: how's traffic in Calera today?
- 2:38Speaker 3: It's been good.
- 2:39Speaker 1: It's fast.
- 2:40Speaker 7: It's not going too slow.
- 2:42Speaker 3: What's the big thing to do in Calera? Like, if
- 2:44Speaker 3: we were to come visit Calera, where would you tell
- 2:46Speaker 3: us to go? Well, the good thing is every first
- 2:50Speaker 3: Friday of the month, they have a big old to-do at.
- 2:52Speaker 6: The pavilion in Main Street at Calera.
- 2:55Speaker 1: That's cool. Are you going to go this Friday? No,
- 2:59Speaker 1: I usually don't get to go. I have other stuff
- 3:01Speaker 1: to do.
- 3:01Speaker 4: Okay.
- 3:02Speaker 6: All right.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Well, that sounds fun, though. Okay, Colette, you want to
- 3:05Speaker 1: play super easy trivia?
- 3:07Speaker 6: Yes, ma'am.
- 3:08Speaker 3: All right. I'll ask the questions. Producer Blake is your
- 3:10Speaker 3: lifeline if you need him. Here is question number one.
- 3:13Speaker 5: Okay.
- 3:14Speaker 3: How many legs does a spider have? Eight.
- 3:18Speaker 1: A will be it. Next one.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Whose nose grew longer every time he lied? And it's
- 3:24Speaker 3: not Producer Blake, even though sometimes he does lie, and
- 3:27Speaker 3: I can tell because his nose gets a little bit longer.
- 3:29Speaker 4: Okay.
- 3:31Speaker 3: Pinocchio.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Pinocchio.
- 3:33Speaker 3: Is it?
- 3:34Speaker 1: Last one for the win. Who's the fairy in Peter Pan? Tinkerbell. Tinkerbell.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Is it?
- 3:43Speaker 5: No.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Congratulations. You just won super easy trivia.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 3:56Speaker 2: It's three things you need to know with The Alabama Show.
- 4:00Speaker 3: We are under a heat advisory with dangerous heat through
- 4:02Speaker 3: Saturday and scattered storms. The heat advisory is going to go.
- 4:06Speaker 3: It's going to be in effect for all of central
- 4:08Speaker 3: Alabama through 8 p.m.
- 4:09Speaker 1: On Saturday.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Heat indexes in the afternoon are going to hit between
- 4:13Speaker 3: 105 and 109 degrees.
- 4:15Speaker 1: So stay hydrated, stay in the A.C.
- 4:17Speaker 3: If you can, and just keep a watch on the
- 4:20Speaker 3: weather this weekend. Tiger Woods is banned from driving for
- 4:23Speaker 3: five years after being arrested for the DUI.
- 4:27Speaker 1: He got in in Florida.
- 4:28Speaker 3: A state attorney was asked if that includes golf carts
- 4:31Speaker 3: and he did not have an answer.
- 4:32Speaker 1: So I would assume.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Yes, because the judge told Tiger that when he was
- 4:37Speaker 3: banned from driving, he said there are no exceptions. If
- 4:39Speaker 3: you were to drive for any reason at all, you
- 4:41Speaker 3: will go back to jail immediately. So Tiger Woods won't
- 4:45Speaker 3: be driving for five years. We have the cast of
- 4:48Speaker 3: Dancing with the Stars, the new season.
- 4:50Speaker 1: It's so good.
- 4:51Speaker 4: Okay, hit me with them.
- 4:52Speaker 1: So, Julia Stiles.
- 4:54Speaker 4: Okay.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Jenna Dewan, who, remember when she was married to Channing Tatum,
- 4:59Speaker 3: she did that viral, like, she recreated the Magic Mike dance.
- 5:03Speaker 4: Oh, yes. Yes, I do. Yes.
- 5:04Speaker 3: She was getting a lot of heat because she's already
- 5:06Speaker 3: a dancer. She's already responded to it. Taylor Hansen from
- 5:09Speaker 3: the band Hansen.
- 5:11Speaker 4: Yes.
- 5:11Speaker 3: There's also several athletes, podcasters, reality TV show stars.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Guillermo from Jimmy Kimmel.
- 5:18Speaker 4: No way.
- 5:20Speaker 1: He's going to be on it. I can't wait to
- 5:21Speaker 1: watch him. That'll be fun.
- 5:24Speaker 4: He'll be my favorite by far. Not even a question.
- 5:26Speaker 1: There's just a lot.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Season 35 of Dancing with the Stars is going to
- 5:29Speaker 3: premiere on the 15th on ABC and Disney +.
- 5:33Speaker 1: And that's three things you need to know. More at thealabamashow.com.
- 5:38Speaker 1: The Alabama Show on demand.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Free on the iHeartRadio app.
- 5:41Speaker 1: I think I have split personalities.
- 5:44Speaker 4: I would believe that, yeah.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Hey, you're supposed to be supportive.
- 5:48Speaker 5: I am.
- 5:48Speaker 4: I'm supportive of the decision that you have it.
- 5:50Speaker 1: I don't have a decision. I said I think I
- 5:52Speaker 1: have it, but I don't.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Shut up.
- 5:55Speaker 4: What do you got?
- 5:56Speaker 3: Thanks for listening to the Alabama show. I'm Alabama with
- 5:59Speaker 3: producer Blake.
- 6:00Speaker 4: That's me.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I started therapy this week.
- 6:02Speaker 4: You did.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Congrats. I, uh, which I've been to therapy before.
- 6:06Speaker 3: So it was really funny when I had my first
- 6:08Speaker 3: session with this therapist, I was like, Oh, I already
- 6:11Speaker 3: know my problems.
- 6:12Speaker 1: I'm codependent. I have this, this, and this. And she
- 6:15Speaker 1: just laughs. She goes, I've been to therapy before. I
- 6:16Speaker 1: was like, Oh yeah, I got the books. I watched
- 6:18Speaker 1: the podcast. I've seen the things. And she was like, well,
- 6:22Speaker 1: Why are you here?
- 6:23Speaker 3: I went, because even though I know what's wrong with me,
- 6:26Speaker 3: I can't stop doing the things that are wrong with me.
- 6:31Speaker 4: Did she give you any list of stuff to do?
- 6:33Speaker 4: Or is she just listening?
- 6:35Speaker 1: Yeah, so I have homework I've got to do before
- 6:38Speaker 1: next week. I basically went because I am awful in relationships.
- 6:41Speaker 3: And if you have listened to the show long enough,
- 6:43Speaker 3: you know I've had a few relationships since the show
- 6:45Speaker 3: has started.
- 6:46Speaker 1: And I'm no good at them. And I'm trying to
- 6:48Speaker 1: learn how to be a better partner.
- 6:51Speaker 3: And, but I was telling her, I was like, it's
- 6:53Speaker 3: really funny because there's this version of me that's.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Alabama when we come and do the show.
- 6:58Speaker 3: I'm Alabama the girl and we wake up every morning
- 7:01Speaker 3: and we do the radio show. I was like, but
- 7:04Speaker 3: then when I go home, I'm actually a hermit and
- 7:06Speaker 3: very introverted and it's a totally different me.
- 7:08Speaker 1: And I was like, I feel like two different people.
- 7:10Speaker 1: And then I went, do I have split personalities? And
- 7:14Speaker 1: she laughed. She goes, no, I don't think you have
- 7:16Speaker 1: split personalities.
- 7:17Speaker 3: She goes, now we can explore personality disorders.
- 7:20Speaker 1: And I was like, no, I'm good.
- 7:21Speaker 4: I'm good. That should be one lesson at least. But
- 7:25Speaker 4: either way, happy that you're finally going to get something.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Professional help and then uh when we're ending the therapy
- 7:34Speaker 3: session she was like uh what did she say she
- 7:37Speaker 3: goes oh uh you can message us message me in
- 7:41Speaker 3: this app if you need anything and then she was
- 7:44Speaker 3: like but if it's an emergency call this number and
- 7:47Speaker 3: i went what counts as an emergency like if.
- 7:49Speaker 1: I want to off myself That's a crazy thing to say. Well,
- 7:53Speaker 1: I need to know what counts as an emergency and
- 7:56Speaker 1: what's not. Like, that would be it. She said yes.
- 7:59Speaker 4: That's a good question.
- 8:01Speaker 1: And she said that was a good question.
- 8:03Speaker 4: It is a good question.
- 8:04Speaker 1: I'm her new favorite patient.
- 8:06Speaker 4: I wouldn't say favorite. I would say most interesting to study.
- 8:09Speaker 1: She loved me. She was laughing. She was like, this
- 8:12Speaker 1: is great. Thank you. Thanks for being so open.
- 8:14Speaker 4: Tell her this exact story when you see her.
- 8:16Speaker 3: I will.
- 8:17Speaker 1: I'll tell her to listen to it. I told her
- 8:18Speaker 1: we'd do the show. She goes, what radio show do
- 8:21Speaker 1: you do? And I was like, well, I Googled you.
- 8:24Speaker 3: I know that you live in this city and you
- 8:26Speaker 3: can hear us on.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah station. And she goes, you
- 8:29Speaker 1: Googled me? Did you find my Facebook? I went, no,
- 8:31Speaker 1: that would have been an invasion of your privacy.
- 8:33Speaker 4: I'm going to be honest with you. She's going to
- 8:36Speaker 4: come in with notes. She listened to you and went. Yep.
- 8:41Speaker 4: This is what's wrong with you.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Call the show.
- 8:44Speaker 3: If you've gone to therapy to work on stuff, I
- 8:47Speaker 3: don't know, just give me some support or tell me
- 8:50Speaker 3: your experience with it.
- 8:53Speaker 1: 833-501-BAMA is the number. That's 833-501-2262.
- 8:55Speaker 2: The Alabama Show on demand. Free on the iHeartRadio app.
- 9:03Speaker 1: 833-501-BAMA is the number to call the show. Good morning, Andrew.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Are you calling about me starting therapy?
- 9:09Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 9:10Speaker 6: You cannot tell your therapist the whole truth.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Why not? I told her a lot. I totally trauma-dumped
- 9:17Speaker 1: on her when I talked to her. Oh, I trauma-dumped,
- 9:20Speaker 1: and this lady called that magical phone number on me.
- 9:23Speaker 7: Yeah, you can't do that.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Wait, what's the magical phone number? What were you— The
- 9:28Speaker 1: one that calls the people with badges and authority.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Wait, did the cop show up at your house because
- 9:34Speaker 3: of your therapy session? uh yes were you a danger
- 9:38Speaker 3: to yourself or a danger to others uh.
- 9:42Speaker 1: It wasn't that style situation it was uh we need
- 9:47Speaker 1: more information on a story you told them oh my
- 9:51Speaker 1: gosh and what happened.
- 9:55Speaker 3: I i trauma dumped and they were like hey this
- 9:58Speaker 3: aligns with some stories that we also need information on.
- 10:01Speaker 3: So is anybody in jail now because of your therapy sessions?
- 10:04Speaker 1: Yes or no?
- 10:05Speaker 7: Three people.
- 10:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:06Speaker 1: What?
- 10:08Speaker 7: I don't think for.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Your safety and my safety. We don't need to talk anymore.
- 10:13Speaker 1: But thank you for calling.
- 10:14Speaker 6: Yes, ma'am.
- 10:15Speaker 2: The Alabama Show on demand.
- 10:17Speaker 4: Amazing.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Free on the iHeartRadio app.
- 10:20Speaker 3: 833-501-BAMA is the number to call the show. We were
- 10:23Speaker 3: just talking about how I started therapy this week because
- 10:26Speaker 3: I am terrible in relationships and I want to learn
- 10:30Speaker 3: how to be better at that for my future self.
- 10:35Speaker 3: So if you've ever gone through it, call the show. Sheila,
- 10:37Speaker 3: good morning. Are you calling about therapy? Did you go
- 10:40Speaker 3: to it?
- 10:41Speaker 1: I am.
- 10:42Speaker 7: A long time ago, we went for marriage counseling. Okay.
- 10:47Speaker 1: How did that go?
- 10:49Speaker 7: It was very enlightening. He went, I went several times separately,
- 10:54Speaker 7: and then we went together.
- 10:56Speaker 3: So did y'all decide to stay together, or did you
- 10:58Speaker 3: learn in therapy to separate?
- 11:00Speaker 7: The counselor said in our joint counselor, or in our
- 11:04Speaker 7: grade session, you don't need a marriage counselor, you need
- 11:08Speaker 7: a divorce counselor.
- 11:09Speaker 3: Oh!
- 11:10Speaker 5: Oh, wow.
- 11:10Speaker 1: So you're divorced now?
- 11:12Speaker 7: Oh, I stayed for a long time, but finally I
- 11:15Speaker 7: did get a divorce.
- 11:16Speaker 3: Man, I want to know, because I didn't think that
- 11:19Speaker 3: therapists could tell you what to do with your life decisions.
- 11:22Speaker 3: They just help you work it out. Like, what was
- 11:24Speaker 3: it that made her say you need a divorce?
- 11:27Speaker 7: She said that it was undeniably that we had nothing
- 11:32Speaker 7: in common. We were at odds with each other. We
- 11:36Speaker 7: were making each other miserable.
- 11:38Speaker 3: Okay.
- 11:38Speaker 1: And she was right. well are you remarried now.
- 11:42Speaker 7: Oh yeah happily good for.
- 11:44Speaker 1: You well good well thank you for sharing your story.
- 11:47Speaker 7: No problem thanks love your show.
- 11:49Speaker 3: Thank you we love you too thanks for calling and
- 11:51Speaker 3: listening bye.
- 11:53Speaker 2: It's three things you need to know with the Alabama show.
- 11:57Speaker 3: Alabama and Auburn football back this Saturday. Alabama is going
- 12:01Speaker 3: to host East Carolina in Tuscaloosa. Auburn is going to
- 12:04Speaker 3: take off Baylor in Atlanta. Auburn beat Baylor last year,
- 12:08Speaker 3: 38 to 24. So Baylor, you know, is going to
- 12:10Speaker 3: be looking for payback. But if you love football, it's
- 12:12Speaker 3: finally back this weekend. Dolly Parton's Hollywood Walk of Fame
- 12:16Speaker 3: star is being replaced after being vandalized a week after
- 12:20Speaker 3: she passed away. Her star was vandalized. People, whoever did it,
- 12:24Speaker 3: scratched her name off on the plaque and you can't
- 12:26Speaker 3: tell that it's hers. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce spokesperson
- 12:30Speaker 3: confirmed that repairs were already planned because of pre-existing cracks.
- 12:35Speaker 3: So now they're just going to replace the whole thing.
- 12:37Speaker 3: And the new one will be revealed on Friday.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Tim Curry.
- 12:41Speaker 3: His cause of death was revealed, too, as coronary artery disease.
- 12:46Speaker 3: If you know Tim Curry, he was from It and
- 12:47Speaker 3: the Rocky Horror Picture Show. He also passed away at
- 12:49Speaker 3: the age of 80 on Tuesday.
- 12:51Speaker 1: August 25th. According to the L.A.
- 12:53Speaker 3: County Department of Public Health, he passed away from coronary
- 12:57Speaker 3: artery disease, but also they listed a history of stroke
- 13:00Speaker 3: and kidney cancer as other significant conditions that contributed to.
- 13:04Speaker 1: His passing away.
- 13:05Speaker 3: We have had way too many celebrity deaths. over the
- 13:08Speaker 3: past few weeks, so hopefully no.
- 13:10Speaker 1: More for a while.
- 13:11Speaker 3: That is three things you need to know. More at thealabamashow.com.
- 13:15Speaker 2: The Alabama Show, on demand, free on the iHeartRadio app.
- 13:22Speaker 3: 833-501-BAMA is the number to call the show. Monique, good morning.
- 13:25Speaker 3: Do you have good news?
- 13:26Speaker 6: Yes, so I actually have two pieces of good news today.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Give them all to me.
- 13:31Speaker 6: All right, so first today is my daughter's 12th birthday.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 13:37Speaker 6: And then the second piece of good news I have
- 13:40Speaker 6: is my son, who's been in the hospital since December 2024,
- 13:44Speaker 6: he got released on Monday.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Yes. That is huge news. Why can I ask, why
- 13:51Speaker 1: has he been in the hospital so long?
- 13:53Speaker 5: Okay.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:53Speaker 6: What a miracle, though. That is like, that's amazing. I mean,
- 14:14Speaker 6: what's the first thing you did?
- 14:15Speaker 3: Is he home already or he's about to be released?
- 14:20Speaker 3: What's the first thing that you did when you brought
- 14:22Speaker 3: him home?
- 14:23Speaker 7: Oh my God.
- 14:24Speaker 1: What did he do?
- 14:25Speaker 6: What was his face like? How did he react? His
- 14:36Speaker 6: face was scrunched up most of the time. Like, what
- 14:38Speaker 6: is this? What are you doing?
- 14:40Speaker 3: Yeah, but I can't even imagine.
- 14:43Speaker 1: So how old is he now?
- 14:46Speaker 6: He'll be two in December. So he spent over a
- 14:49Speaker 6: year and a half in the hospital.
- 14:51Speaker 1: What an incredible story. What hospital was he at? Children's?
- 14:55Speaker 6: Yeah, so he was in Huntsville from December 2024 to
- 14:59Speaker 6: September 2025, and then he got to Birmingham.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Man, that is an incredible story.
- 15:06Speaker 3: I'm so happy for you, and thank you so much
- 15:08Speaker 3: for calling the show and for sharing.
- 15:11Speaker 2: The Alabama Show On Demand, free on the iHeartRadio app.
- 15:14Speaker 3: If you missed our buddy Pink Beard on America's Got
- 15:17Speaker 3: Talent for the first episode.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Of the live rounds, did you see his performance?
- 15:22Speaker 4: I did see it online. Yes, I did.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Did you see him cry at the end?
- 15:24Speaker 4: I saw him tear up.
- 15:26Speaker 5: Oh, my God.
- 15:27Speaker 3: I got emotional with him, too, because Pink Beard, he's
- 15:29Speaker 3: from Birmingham. He is such a good human. He is
- 15:33Speaker 3: such a good person. And I want nothing but success
- 15:35Speaker 3: for him.
- 15:36Speaker 1: I just looked.
- 15:37Speaker 3: He did not make it to the next round of
- 15:39Speaker 3: the live rounds of America's Got Talent. But I still
- 15:43Speaker 3: believe because he is so talented and so good, he
- 15:46Speaker 3: doesn't need to win. Like if you look at like
- 15:48Speaker 3: Morgan Wallen was on The Voice, he didn't win. And
- 15:51Speaker 3: look how successful he is.
- 15:52Speaker 4: I mean, he just got to have that following. I
- 15:54Speaker 4: think he's got it now. I generally think he's got it.
- 15:56Speaker 1: He's great.
- 15:57Speaker 3: So anyway, Pink Beard, we love you. Congratulations on everything
- 16:00Speaker 3: that you've done. And if you haven't seen that performance,
- 16:02Speaker 3: it is so good.
- 16:04Speaker 1: It is so good. We'll share it at thealabamashow.com.
- 16:08Speaker 2: You're listening to The Alabama Show On Demand.
- 16:11Speaker 3: Apparently, Producer Blake's church had to make new rules because
- 16:15Speaker 3: of Producer Blake.
- 16:16Speaker 4: They warned me, but I didn't think it was real.
- 16:19Speaker 3: Thanks for listening to The Alabama Show.
- 16:22Speaker 1: I'm Alabama with Producer Blake. And you are very involved
- 16:25Speaker 1: in your church. You go every Wednesday and every Sunday.
- 16:28Speaker 4: Correct, yes.
- 16:29Speaker 1: You're a Sunday school teacher.
- 16:34Speaker 4: I have been multiple times, yes.
- 16:36Speaker 1: We've called your pastor on the show.
- 16:38Speaker 4: Multiple times of that as well.
- 16:40Speaker 1: So what happened yesterday?
- 16:42Speaker 5: Well, so Sunday, we get told that a new guy
- 16:47Speaker 5: is going to be teaching the class for a few weeks,
- 16:49Speaker 5: the Wednesday night classes.
- 16:50Speaker 7: Okay.
- 16:51Speaker 4: So he comes up to me and goes, hey, I
- 16:53Speaker 4: need you to be there this Wednesday. I said, why?
- 16:55Speaker 5: He goes, we're starting a new lesson series. And you
- 17:00Speaker 5: need to hear the guidelines. I said, why do I
- 17:02Speaker 5: need to hear the guidelines? He goes, I've written them
- 17:04Speaker 5: for you.
- 17:05Speaker 4: I said, there's a class of like 20 of us.
- 17:08Speaker 4: Why is it for me? He goes, you'll see why Wednesday. Well,
- 17:11Speaker 4: I get there yesterday and he goes, oh, good. You're here.
- 17:15Speaker 4: Sit down.
- 17:15Speaker 5: I said, what?
- 17:17Speaker 3: Sit down.
- 17:18Speaker 1: He goes, this all tracks so far.
- 17:20Speaker 4: He goes, just trust me. He goes, all right, everybody.
- 17:23Speaker 4: Rule number one. He stares at me. OK, in a
- 17:26Speaker 4: room full of 10 to 15 of us.
- 17:29Speaker 5: No questions at this church or in this class that
- 17:33Speaker 5: you wouldn't say at church.
- 17:35Speaker 4: And then he gives an example of one of my questions.
- 17:38Speaker 1: What was it?
- 17:38Speaker 4: I can't say it right here.
- 17:40Speaker 3: You can't even say it on the radio, but you
- 17:42Speaker 3: said it in church.
- 17:44Speaker 4: I didn't say it in church. It's just a question
- 17:46Speaker 4: I've asked.
- 17:47Speaker 1: People at church?
- 17:49Speaker 4: Yes. There you go. But not while we were at church.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Okay, what was the other one?
- 17:54Speaker 5: Then he said that you're not allowed to ask anything...
- 17:58Speaker 5: that doesn't pertain to the Bible.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Because you're the bad kid at class.
- 18:06Speaker 5: He said, you have a tendency to go off track
- 18:08Speaker 5: and ask things that don't relate to you.
- 18:11Speaker 1: That tracks. You do go off track. I need this
- 18:13Speaker 1: guy to come give you guidelines for the show.
- 18:15Speaker 5: I said, there's always a reason for my madness. And
- 18:18Speaker 5: he goes, I don't care what your reasoning might be.
- 18:21Speaker 5: You're not allowed to ask any dumb questions.
- 18:23Speaker 1: You can't sidetrack his class. I like this guy.
- 18:26Speaker 4: Well, then he said, he pulled me aside at the
- 18:28Speaker 4: end and goes, hey. I don't even know I love
- 18:31Speaker 4: you still.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Stop being annoying.
- 18:35Speaker 4: No, he didn't say annoying.
- 18:37Speaker 1: I'll say it.
- 18:38Speaker 4: But he said... I don't want to have any issues
- 18:40Speaker 4: this class because I think it's a big class.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Was it only the two rules or were there any
- 18:44Speaker 1: other ones? There were more, but I.
- 18:46Speaker 4: Can't remember them all.
- 18:47Speaker 5: I know those two, though, because that one, he stared
- 18:49Speaker 5: at me on both of those. The rest of them
- 18:52Speaker 5: pertained to me, but they were like open-ended rules, but
- 18:56Speaker 5: they were designed for me. He said if I weren't
- 18:58Speaker 5: in the class, he would not have made rules.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Yeah, he wouldn't have had to call the show.
- 19:03Speaker 3: 833-501-BAMA is the number. Who's the producer, Blake, in your life?
- 19:06Speaker 3: You are that guy.
- 19:08Speaker 1: You do... 833-501-BAMA. That's 833-501-2262.
- 19:14Speaker 2: You're listening to The Alabama Show On Demand.
