- 0:04SPEAKER_01: We try to get to all of you every single morning.
- 0:06SPEAKER_01: Doesn't always happen, but thanks to Lauren.
- 0:11SPEAKER_01: Then we have Ileana, John 317, 1336, 3490, 4441, 3386.
- 0:18SPEAKER_01: I mean you get the point.
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: And those are the regulars that are there first thing in the morning.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 0:23SPEAKER_01: 11, uh I almost forgot it's 1132.
- 0:26SPEAKER_01: I almost forgot what Natalie's numbers were.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: Oh, Natalie too, with the Life 360.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: She's like, oh, Life 360's great.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: She goes, I used it for my 20-year-old daughter who's on vacation in Europe.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: In Europe, I understand you want to do that.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: Other than that, Natalie, let her off the boob when she gets back home.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: For God's sake.
- 0:44SPEAKER_01: Uh, I'm obsessed with it now.
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: You don't have it.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: You just have your location on.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: It's far less intrusive.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: You can shut it on and off.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: You can't do that with the Life 360.
- 0:53SPEAKER_01: They get notified if I shut it off.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: Okay, well.
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: Well, that that's the difference.
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: Well, actually, I don't know if that's the difference with Life 360, but that's the thing.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: Like you could also just turn your phone off, too, and be like, oh, my battery died.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: Sorry, I was in TJ Maxx for three hours.
- 1:06SPEAKER_01: Like Zach.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: I got all the solutions right now.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: Zach is at home right now.
- 1:09SPEAKER_01: He better hurry if he wants to get to work on time.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: Speaking of over the weekend, we were with his brother, sister-in-law, and and their kids.
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: We were doing an Airbnb thing, and they were telling us a story how there was a bat in their house.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: Oh, I've had this.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: I've had it too.
- 1:27SPEAKER_01: But in this case, it's of course the biggest.
- 1:33SPEAKER_01: They're going crazy.
- 1:34SPEAKER_01: No, of course.
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: And now one person says, so brothers, uh uh, Zach's brother's name is Jed.
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: And one person in the story said, I got bit by the bat.
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: That'd be Jed.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: And his- The bat's more scared of you than the than you are the bat.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: Okay, it's not gonna swoop in for the kill like Dracula.
- 1:53SPEAKER_01: And his wife, who is a vet tech, she's like, No, you didn't.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm right there with her.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: There was no biting.
- 1:59SPEAKER_01: And she looks at it and she he's like, see, right here, right here.
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: Do you see these marks?
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: And she's like, Oh my gosh.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: They're called moles, you moron.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: No, apparently, apparently, his wife Maureen is the least sympathetic person to anything.
- 2:11SPEAKER_01: Like if he gets sick, okay, grow up, you know.
- 2:14SPEAKER_01: That person.
- 2:15SPEAKER_01: So she goes, fine.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: You got bit by a bat, okay.
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: You're gonna get a rabi shot.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: And had to get a rabies shot in his left arm, right arm, left leg, right leg?
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: He said it was so painful.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: Oh, they don't do the stomach anymore.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: It used to be like what, 10, 20 shots in the stomach?
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: Oh, you never heard that?
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: No, this really quick.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: Did rabies shots used to have to be administered in the stomach?
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: It was either like 10 shots.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: This was a horror story.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: God, as a Gen Xer, I have got to tell you, this we we grew up in such a horrible time.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: We didn't have Google.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: You have to remember, Google didn't come along until much later.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: We didn't even have the the internet until we were already adults, right?
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: So you have to remember the stories that were told to us, which were hand-me-downs from like the baby boomer boomers who were hand-me-downs from people that were in the war.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: So you gotta realize the stories we were told went to the extreme.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: Oh, it's 20 shots in the stomach and it's agonized.
- 3:08SPEAKER_01: You're actually not that far off.
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: The older vaccine required a long series of 14 to 21 individual injections.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: Doctors use the abdomen because it has a large surface area to handle the high volume of fluid and daily rotation of needle sites.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: Uh, modern treatment, though, is the four doses.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: We've grown a little bit beyond that.
- 3:33SPEAKER_01: And infants receive the injection in the thigh.
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: Has anybody ever had to get rabies shots?
- 3:39SPEAKER_01: Oh, I this is the first time I've ever heard it.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: Well, I knew that they existed.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: Now I know it's much different.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: It sounds still terrible, but better than it used to be.
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: I know a girl that got bit by a was it a raccoon?
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: Did she have to get the rabies?
- 3:52SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 3:53SPEAKER_01: She put her finger right she put her finger right in that raccoon's face, too.
- 3:57SPEAKER_01: Like that was so stupid.
- 3:58SPEAKER_01: You know, I mean that's what you get.
- 4:00SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 4:00SPEAKER_01: You play stupid games, you win stupid prizes.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 4:03SPEAKER_01: It was that or a possum or something.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: It was it was something that was like going across the road.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: I need to know.
