- 0:14Speaker 2: Hi.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Hey, Hi, Hey, guys, I went out. What'd you do?
- 0:22Speaker 1: Hung out with the girl? Hi? Five? Yeah? I love that?
- 0:27Speaker 1: Thank you?
- 0:27Speaker 2: And were you able to you would have been at
- 0:30Speaker 2: five in the morning. Yes, where'd you guys hang out at?
- 0:34Speaker 2: Like her hotel or something? Or did you guys go?
- 0:36Speaker 2: Where would you go? Until five minutes?
- 0:38Speaker 3: So I picked her up and then we just went
- 0:40Speaker 3: to Seal Beach because I was near it.
- 0:42Speaker 2: You drove where did you pick her up from?
- 0:45Speaker 3: She was in She was only like thirty minutes away.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Seal Beach is far, it's forty seven minutes, but it
- 0:51Speaker 3: was only so her place from here.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Yeah, in the morning it would take forty five minutes.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Her place from here, thirty minutes Seal Beach from her
- 1:00Speaker 3: place eighteen.
- 1:02Speaker 1: But I wanted to go because I was like Dad's wine.
- 1:06Speaker 3: Yeah, So I was like, how funny that I feel
- 1:09Speaker 3: like I've never been here, So I'm going to go
- 1:11Speaker 3: to Seal Beach. So we went to Seal beach and
- 1:14Speaker 3: we pull up a guy just getting head in the
- 1:17Speaker 3: car next to us.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Shut up.
- 1:19Speaker 3: Yeah, it kind of fucked up the whole vibe for
- 1:22Speaker 3: everything we had going. You know, you see that and
- 1:24Speaker 3: you're like, wow, now, like, hey, do you want to
- 1:26Speaker 3: do what the girl's doing to the guy over there?
- 1:28Speaker 3: To me at five and or four?
- 1:30Speaker 1: No, that was it. No, I went to bed. That
- 1:32Speaker 1: was at like one. Oh you went to bed at five? Yeah,
- 1:36Speaker 1: I just got home at five. Yeah.
- 1:38Speaker 2: That does mess up the vibe. Yeah, especially when you
- 1:42Speaker 2: think you're gonna be the only people.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Party and then like you go over and like she
- 1:45Speaker 3: looks over and she goes that guy's one hundred percent
- 1:47Speaker 3: getting head. And I was like, all right, so now
- 1:49Speaker 3: how do I ask for it?
- 1:50Speaker 1: I'm jesus. Oh no, it was yeah, it was great.
- 1:55Speaker 1: It was fun. Okay, I'm mindless today.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Why don't Yeah, I would be mindless too. Yeah, but
- 2:01Speaker 2: you know what, I'm happy that you just because I
- 2:03Speaker 2: got a text from you at like midnight and it
- 2:05Speaker 2: was like, Hey, I'm about to head out.
- 2:07Speaker 1: I'm gonna go hang out with that girl.
- 2:10Speaker 2: I didn't see it until this morning, but I'm like, well,
- 2:13Speaker 2: this was at midnight, and we have to podcast all morning.
- 2:16Speaker 2: We had a very it's like an early morning of
- 2:18Speaker 2: podcasting because we're headed to the beach today. I'm taking
- 2:22Speaker 2: Ocean and Sosa. We got a house in Newport.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Just to let you guys know, get off my back.
- 2:29Speaker 3: I'm coming today. I'm coming as well.
- 2:32Speaker 2: But I yes, I just here's what bothers me.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Around. Yes, we like your energy, but to be like
- 2:40Speaker 1: it's it's like what you back it up with.
- 2:43Speaker 2: You're like, I'm gonna do this. I'm not gonna I'm
- 2:45Speaker 2: not gonna fuck with my plans. I see you guys
- 2:47Speaker 2: all the time, and it's like, I understand we see
- 2:49Speaker 2: each other. Is this beach house like five months ago?
- 2:55Speaker 1: I know, and we all sill. You're with the plan,
- 2:58Speaker 1: but I have an opportunity. That's fine. It's just like,
- 3:02Speaker 1: don't back don't try to back it up with. I'm
- 3:04Speaker 1: not going to fuck with my plan. We see each
- 3:06Speaker 1: other all the time.
- 3:06Speaker 2: It's like I understand that we see each other all
- 3:08Speaker 2: the time, but actually you're fucking with the plan, not me.
- 3:12Speaker 2: I too have to bounce back and forth. I have
- 3:16Speaker 2: to be back to LA literally every single day.
- 3:18Speaker 1: This is yeah, same, I well, that's okay.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Well, then me and you are going to communicate about
- 3:22Speaker 3: the dogs because if you come home, I may have
- 3:25Speaker 3: you take care of them so I can like hang
- 3:26Speaker 3: out with mom and stuff. Yeah, we'll be on this
- 3:28Speaker 3: sing I will tell you I'm probably gonna be there
- 3:32Speaker 3: like ninety eight percent of the time. Great, I just
- 3:36Speaker 3: today for me there they asked me for the opportunity
- 3:41Speaker 3: that I was given for being a part of.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Creative Recovery. I think it's great.
- 3:48Speaker 3: It just told me last night, okay, at eleven thirty
- 3:51Speaker 3: because they went and saw Ariana Grande.
- 3:54Speaker 1: They did say it was a lot of people in
- 3:57Speaker 1: the world. Yeah, they said it was on. Well, she's
- 4:00Speaker 1: fucking amazing.
- 4:01Speaker 3: So they called me and they were just like, hey,
- 4:02Speaker 3: if you have time, we would love to see you tomorrow.
- 4:04Speaker 2: And you know, Y and I don't have a problem
- 4:09Speaker 2: with that, but when you present it as we're fucking
- 4:11Speaker 2: with your plan, it's like, no, you're fucking with our
- 4:13Speaker 2: plan that we've had for five months. Anyway, this is
- 4:17Speaker 2: the game plan. It's a very chaotic week. I film
- 4:21Speaker 2: the reunion. Ocean's graduating that exact same day. We're going
- 4:25Speaker 2: to come home. The night before sleep in la. That
- 4:28Speaker 2: way we can all be ready to go. You have
- 4:30Speaker 2: to be a graduation like seven in the morning.
- 4:32Speaker 3: No, we're coming back, what to Tuesday night? Because isn't
- 4:35Speaker 3: it Wednesday or is it Thursday?
- 4:37Speaker 1: It's Wednesday night. We're so we're going to come home.
- 4:40Speaker 3: But also I have to come home Saturday. I know
- 4:44Speaker 3: you guys are going to probably stay Saturday night. I
- 4:46Speaker 3: have to come home because I'm preparing for this off
- 4:52Speaker 3: Ball World Series. That's great, and my team is coming over.
- 4:56Speaker 3: We're having a party at the house.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Guys. Oh that's right.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Yeah, you're gonna have to be the house ready then,
- 5:03Speaker 2: just to let you know.
- 5:04Speaker 3: Like I have to spray the line ray.
- 5:09Speaker 2: You guys, I know, trigger warning. But for those of
- 5:12Speaker 2: you who have massive dogs and have turf, because what's
- 5:16Speaker 2: the alternative. You have regular glass, you have regular grass
- 5:20Speaker 2: and then.
- 5:20Speaker 4: It's just dead.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Everywhere, or you get the turf and you're like, what
- 5:25Speaker 2: the fuck is that smell? And by the way, I've
- 5:28Speaker 2: had people come spray it, suck it out. But when
- 5:31Speaker 2: you have two ginormous pit bulls who are it's just
- 5:35Speaker 2: and I've tried to teach them, I'm like, go in
- 5:37Speaker 2: this corner, go in this corner. But these dogs are
- 5:40Speaker 2: freaking old. They're like nine and ten. They look at
- 5:43Speaker 2: me like, bitch, I go wherever the hell I want.
- 5:46Speaker 3: Yeah, But I also I think it's the draining system.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Well, at some point, at some point, I'm gonna have
- 5:58Speaker 2: someone come because I ripped out half the turf and
- 6:00Speaker 2: concrete it mm hmmm, so now it's just turf in
- 6:04Speaker 2: the back. At some point I'm going to have someone
- 6:08Speaker 2: come rip it all up and just start from scratch.
- 6:12Speaker 2: It'll be expensive, but it'll be work.
- 6:14Speaker 3: I think the what's crazy to me And this is
- 6:17Speaker 3: where I really do believe that it is in the
- 6:20Speaker 3: front half that the draining is fucked up, because if
- 6:23Speaker 3: you go into the backyard where the basketball board is,
- 6:26Speaker 3: it doesn't smell okay, and they use that all the time.
- 6:30Speaker 3: So it's like, I don't know if that's draining, So
- 6:32Speaker 3: let me tell.
- 6:32Speaker 1: You what it is.
- 6:33Speaker 2: And I'm not trying to be a dick. You don't
- 6:35Speaker 2: you don't clean it enough?
- 6:36Speaker 3: Well clean enough, yeah, I know, but like how often
- 6:40Speaker 3: is somebody going out and literally vacuuming?
- 6:43Speaker 1: And like, guys, when I tell you should probably do
- 6:46Speaker 1: it once a week, I know, And it's like a
- 6:48Speaker 1: six hour ordeal.
- 6:49Speaker 2: It's not six hours.
- 6:50Speaker 4: I would get that thing out to properly do it
- 6:53Speaker 4: with like the thing that little vacuum that like spins, Yeah,
- 6:58Speaker 4: if I were to do because they're is like the
- 7:00Speaker 4: remedy that I would have to do is like three.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Put downs of vinegar. After I put the vinegar down
- 7:07Speaker 3: baking soda. After the baking soda sits, I have to
- 7:10Speaker 3: vacuum that baking soda into every piece of the lawn.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Then after that I have to spray it with the
- 7:15Speaker 3: lawn like the the odor detergent. And then after that
- 7:19Speaker 3: I have to rewater it down. That's like the whole thing.
- 7:22Speaker 3: So it's like at one point, at some point I
- 7:25Speaker 3: do think like I will probably call and have somebody
- 7:28Speaker 3: do it professionally, someone come out and do it because
- 7:32Speaker 3: they have the bigger machines, or I just gotta go
- 7:34Speaker 3: to home depot and rent one for a day because
- 7:36Speaker 3: like it's only this big, and I've got a lot
- 7:39Speaker 3: of yards, so it's like I need something bigger.
- 7:41Speaker 1: But it is.
- 7:42Speaker 3: And then the the only thing that really sucks, and
- 7:44Speaker 3: I'll be completely honest to you, is to do all
- 7:47Speaker 3: of that work and then when you're done to get
- 7:49Speaker 3: a whiff of pe and feel so fucking defeated.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Here's what I'm gonna do.
- 7:54Speaker 2: I'm gonna call a company and I'm gonna see if
- 7:57Speaker 2: they come out.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Well, here's the thing. Does anybody have any remedies? That's
- 8:00Speaker 3: listening that you know? You have big dogs and turf?
- 8:03Speaker 1: Do you use? Have you found out? Is there? It
- 8:06Speaker 1: went over to.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Your friend's house the other day and they have all
- 8:10Speaker 2: turf and they have one tiny little dog. And I
- 8:12Speaker 2: was sitting in the back and everything was fine, and
- 8:15Speaker 2: then just in two seconds, I was like, Urine, no
- 8:18Speaker 2: it actually and I felt better.
- 8:21Speaker 1: No, yeah, my house. And You're like, I'm not gonna
- 8:24Speaker 1: judge you or tell you about it, No, because what
- 8:26Speaker 1: are they gonna do.
- 8:27Speaker 2: We're all sitting here and they're like, yeah, I know,
- 8:28Speaker 2: but I love my dogs, so right.
- 8:31Speaker 3: Yes.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Anyway, moving on from that, So my weekend, you guys,
- 8:36Speaker 2: was so much fun. Lisa vander Pump just opened a
- 8:42Speaker 2: fucking hotel on the Vegas Strip. It is gorgeous, The
- 8:48Speaker 2: rooms are beautiful. You never know what to expect when
- 8:52Speaker 2: you're walking into one of Lisa's babies, right, because she
- 8:56Speaker 2: has such a creative mind that you're like, what direction
- 9:02Speaker 2: is she going to go in? Because you know a
- 9:05Speaker 2: Lisa vander Pump restaurant or lounge or now hotel when
- 9:11Speaker 2: you enter, because there's always the signature touch, but you
- 9:16Speaker 2: never know, like because she works with nikolayin all the time,
- 9:20Speaker 2: like he does her lighting fixtures. He does like the
- 9:23Speaker 2: the barstools and the coverings, and so even though it
- 9:27Speaker 2: has Lisa and Nikolayne's signature on it, you just are
- 9:30Speaker 2: always going to be surprised by what impeccable shit you
- 9:35Speaker 2: see inside. So I walk in in the center is
- 9:41Speaker 2: this lounge bar area called Jigglow and it has Jiggy's face.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Oh what a great name.
- 9:49Speaker 2: I know. And then we got coins like heavy coins
- 9:52Speaker 2: that were for like your first drink and it has
- 9:55Speaker 2: Jiggy's face on it like a gold coin.
- 9:58Speaker 1: It was so cute, like when you go you get
- 10:00Speaker 1: one of those for that. I don't know. I don't
- 10:01Speaker 1: know if it was.
- 10:02Speaker 2: I don't know if it was because it was the opening,
- 10:04Speaker 2: so there were so many people there.
- 10:06Speaker 1: But I flew Jet sweet X.
- 10:08Speaker 2: And I was dealing with someone on Lisa's team with booking.
- 10:14Speaker 2: They said, you know, what flight do you want to
- 10:16Speaker 2: be on? I said, just put me on whatever flight
- 10:18Speaker 2: Schwartzy and Keana r on.
- 10:20Speaker 1: They sent me the flight info.
- 10:21Speaker 2: I arrive at Jet Sweet and then the first person
- 10:24Speaker 2: I see is my makeup artist. I love her, Emma Willis.
- 10:28Speaker 2: She's the freaking best. She's there, she's about to fly
- 10:31Speaker 2: to Napa. She almost misses her flight because we're like, man,
- 10:34Speaker 2: and how do you miss the flight at Jet Sweet?
- 10:37Speaker 1: Anybody?
- 10:37Speaker 3: I thought you guys were going to the same place
- 10:39Speaker 3: when she was like, I saw La La and then
- 10:40Speaker 3: I saw her and she was in Napa, and I
- 10:42Speaker 3: was like, where are you going?
- 10:43Speaker 2: Yeah, she was going. She's constantly traveling. She freaking hustles.
- 10:47Speaker 2: So I saw her. And then I see Baskin, who's
- 10:49Speaker 2: like my security blanket, so I sat with him. And
- 10:52Speaker 2: then in comes Tom.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Sandraval it's also on my flight.
- 10:59Speaker 2: And then incomes James Kennedy with his girlfriend.
- 11:04Speaker 1: I'm like, it wasn't even like ah.
- 11:06Speaker 2: I was just thinking, like, wow, I never thought I
- 11:08Speaker 2: would ever be on a flight with all people. Came right,
- 11:15Speaker 2: and then Schwartzy and Keana appear, and then in walks
- 11:17Speaker 2: p k Duren, Kemsley's ex husband, and it was wonderful
- 11:25Speaker 2: to see him because he was going to the same
- 11:27Speaker 2: place I was going. But you know, Durie was just
- 11:31Speaker 2: on my podcast, and you know, she and I have
- 11:33Speaker 2: a friendly relationship and I adore her and think she's
- 11:36Speaker 2: just amazing. But he was singing her praises that she
- 11:41Speaker 2: had just become a New York Times bestseller and I
- 11:44Speaker 2: had just had her on the podcast, and I was like,
- 11:46Speaker 2: this is such a huge deal. He talked about how
- 11:48Speaker 2: proud he was of her and that they he was
- 11:55Speaker 2: very happy with the podcast, which isn't always the case. Yes,
- 12:00Speaker 2: when Deurite was on, and he was like just saying
- 12:04Speaker 2: that he was happy, because you can so easily go
- 12:07Speaker 2: from being kind about someone to not. And I really
- 12:10Speaker 2: enjoyed having Durte on because so often when you end
- 12:13Speaker 2: up in a situation with your ex where you used
- 12:16Speaker 2: to once be you know, lovers, best friends and have
- 12:21Speaker 2: like a partnership and then it goes south. I loved
- 12:26Speaker 2: the fact that Durreite took us back in time and
- 12:28Speaker 2: it's all in her book as well, but took us
- 12:30Speaker 2: back in time to what the relationship was like, and
- 12:33Speaker 2: she was able to go there because I know that
- 12:35Speaker 2: I can't. I can't go there even five years in.
- 12:38Speaker 2: I'm like, I can't remember one good time or good thing.
- 12:42Speaker 2: So I appreciate when someone can do that. And PK
- 12:46Speaker 2: appreciated that as well. Anyway, thrilled that she made the list.
- 12:52Speaker 2: I did meet James's girlfriend. She's blonde, she's super cute.
- 12:57Speaker 2: James looked good. I didn't say much to him except for, Hi,
- 13:02Speaker 2: how are you we land in Vegas?
- 13:05Speaker 1: What about congratulations? A congratulations?
- 13:09Speaker 2: Honestly, I didn't even acknowledge it because I don't think
- 13:12Speaker 2: that they've confirmed it.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Well, I don't know if I should have said something.
- 13:16Speaker 3: I don't know if they've confirmed I just saw everywhere
- 13:18Speaker 3: that it was like James Kennedy and pregnant girlfriend like
- 13:23Speaker 3: that's everything.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Maybe they confirmed it. I don't know.
- 13:26Speaker 2: I never I mean, I have no idea, but we
- 13:29Speaker 2: land and they have like three different cars to pick
- 13:32Speaker 2: everyone up from jut sweet X and so it's myself,
- 13:38Speaker 2: Keanna Schwartzy, Tom Sandafal, James, James's new girlfriend in this car.
- 13:44Speaker 1: You guys. I was like, I literally said out loud.
- 13:49Speaker 1: I was like, I never thought any of us would
- 13:52Speaker 1: be in the same fucking car. Ever again, if I.
- 13:55Speaker 3: Was there and you just knowing what I know, headphones
- 13:59Speaker 3: on car ride, eyes closed.
- 14:03Speaker 2: I was texting. I was getting teed up for the night.
- 14:06Speaker 2: You know, I was getting teed up for the night.
- 14:08Speaker 2: What is this night gonna look like? We're gonna still bat?
- 14:14Speaker 2: So we go, we check in. I have to eat,
- 14:18Speaker 2: I tell Kean and Schwartzy, I have to eat. You
- 14:21Speaker 2: must eat, baby. I was like, I'm third wheeling my
- 14:23Speaker 2: ass off until we get to the event. Keana needed
- 14:27Speaker 2: ear rings, so they went somewhere. I met Basket at
- 14:29Speaker 2: the bar. We key keyed, ran into Heather and Terry Debro.
- 14:32Speaker 2: I was like, what's the game planned tonight? You guys, Like,
- 14:35Speaker 2: is there food? Heather was like, I bet there's tray passing.
- 14:38Speaker 2: I was like, I'm gonna need to eat. How long
- 14:40Speaker 2: are we staying at the event? And they were like,
- 14:42Speaker 2: let's rock it until like ten and I said okay,
- 14:45Speaker 2: but then like I have to eat. There was trey
- 14:47Speaker 2: passing at Jigglow. That's where we met everybody. That was
- 14:51Speaker 2: like the initial get together and then you work your
- 14:53Speaker 2: way to the rooftop, which was fucking fabulous.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Her voice makes me calm down. Sorry, Oh my god,
- 15:00Speaker 1: I know, I love it.
- 15:01Speaker 2: So we had made a plan that around ten we
- 15:03Speaker 2: were going to head to Delilah. So it was myself.
- 15:07Speaker 2: I text Basket and I was like, hey, are you
- 15:09Speaker 2: still here? He said, yeah, let's head out and go eat.
- 15:12Speaker 2: So it was me the boy that I brought.
- 15:15Speaker 1: A boy a man, she brought a fight.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Me baskin the man uh, and then Terry and Heather
- 15:25Speaker 2: and we had like the best time at Delilah. You guys,
- 15:28Speaker 2: I was up until four in the morning.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Yeah, but I was wrecked for the next you guys.
- 15:34Speaker 2: I flew home from Vegas the next day at like one.
- 15:39Speaker 2: I literally went downstairs. I got a coffee. I had
- 15:43Speaker 2: two fresh episodes of The Valley because we have to
- 15:46Speaker 2: get caught up, guys.
- 15:50Speaker 1: I really am into The Valley. Valley's crush.
- 15:53Speaker 4: You can't even recap it anymore, guys, and I'm still
- 15:55Speaker 4: into it.
- 15:56Speaker 2: It's really really good. It's really good in it. So
- 16:00Speaker 2: I had two new episodes. So I literally just sat
- 16:02Speaker 2: in the lobby with my Starbucks and watched and by
- 16:06Speaker 2: the time it was over, I was like, oh my gosh,
- 16:07Speaker 2: here's a great thing about flying jet Sweet.
- 16:10Speaker 1: You don't have to be there an hour early, you know.
- 16:12Speaker 2: I was like, I'm gonna leave now, I'll be there
- 16:14Speaker 2: a half hour before the plane leaves.
- 16:16Speaker 3: And still pen and paper? What's pen and paper? Like
- 16:21Speaker 3: their ticket? Like you walk up and you're like Lauren,
- 16:24Speaker 3: and they're like, okay, A two.
- 16:26Speaker 1: No.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Actually it's almost like a receipt. Just looks like a receipt.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Yeah, no, it's not online.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Yeah no, second, here's my ID. They take the bag,
- 16:36Speaker 2: they give you like literally just a receipt with your yeah.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:41Speaker 2: So I get there to jet Sweet James is there again.
- 16:45Speaker 2: He was getting deplaned because I guess they needed to
- 16:48Speaker 2: do something with his plane. So then our flight was
- 16:51Speaker 2: delayed and I just sat with Michael and Lance Lance Bass, oh, yes,
- 16:58Speaker 2: we sat in Keikey. I was looking at the latte
- 17:02Speaker 2: machine and I was like, you, guys, I really want
- 17:05Speaker 2: a coffee, but like I cannot bring myself to get up,
- 17:07Speaker 2: and lands.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Was like, i'll get it for you. What do you want.
- 17:09Speaker 1: I was like, oh, we're a different.
- 17:10Speaker 2: Page now that you're willing to get I want to
- 17:13Speaker 2: take a latte. Give me a couple of pumps of
- 17:15Speaker 2: that vanilla.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Because I need it in the plane for whatever is coming.
- 17:21Speaker 1: You know, it was excellent. I was living my best life.
- 17:25Speaker 1: No jet sweet acts, but you guys, I had the
- 17:28Speaker 1: best time.
- 17:29Speaker 3: It was. It's not even that expensive for what you get.
- 17:33Speaker 3: Like I think flights in a burbank are just as
- 17:36Speaker 3: expensive fight going with Delta or something.
- 17:38Speaker 2: The difference is is there's not there's not a.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Lot of them. They only fly like what a couple
- 17:43Speaker 1: of places.
- 17:43Speaker 2: It's like Vegas, Vegas not but during ski season they
- 17:47Speaker 2: fly into Saltalt Lake.
- 17:48Speaker 1: That's when I usually flew. It was in the winter.
- 17:49Speaker 1: I think there's a couple in Arizona. Yeah, I mean
- 17:53Speaker 1: they're back east.
- 17:53Speaker 3: I know that. But yeah, they just don't fly a
- 17:56Speaker 3: lot of places Aspen. They go to Aspen. I think
- 17:58Speaker 3: year around.
- 17:58Speaker 1: I think so too.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Yeah, No, it was great. I had the time of
- 18:01Speaker 2: my life. I was there for less than twenty four hours,
- 18:04Speaker 2: which is perfect because it just felt like I yeah, perfect.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Big out.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Flew in on a Thursday. Back on Friday. That night,
- 18:12Speaker 2: I was so wrecked. I got in bed. It was
- 18:15Speaker 2: me and my mom in ocean. We got in bed
- 18:16Speaker 2: and watched Hopper. It was seven o'clock. I passed out
- 18:20Speaker 2: by seven thirty. I woke up the next day at
- 18:23Speaker 2: like eight, went back to bed until nine.
- 18:26Speaker 1: No.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Yeah, and then we got on a plane to go
- 18:28Speaker 2: to Utah. And that's when shit got real.
- 18:31Speaker 3: When I tell you that that story that she just
- 18:35Speaker 3: told is one hundred percent true because I walked into
- 18:37Speaker 3: the house the sun was still up.
- 18:41Speaker 2: What are you talking about when you guys were all watching, Yeah,
- 18:44Speaker 2: the sun was up.
- 18:44Speaker 3: I like, I didn't even see, was they. I walked
- 18:47Speaker 3: in the house, I'm yelling, and I just look upstairs.
- 18:50Speaker 3: Your doors closed, and I was like wow. Then it
- 18:55Speaker 3: depressed me because then I looked outside and I was like,
- 18:57Speaker 3: my whole family's going to bed right now. Look, I
- 18:59Speaker 3: couldn't function, I now know, because I could nap right, Mama,
- 19:04Speaker 3: I didn't even I would have alarmed nothing.
- 19:06Speaker 1: How you even got up and did it? I I'm dying.
- 19:12Speaker 2: I don't think I would have gone to bed, not early.
- 19:14Speaker 2: I would have rocked it until at least the sun
- 19:16Speaker 2: went down.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:18Speaker 2: However, I had to be on a flight to go
- 19:21Speaker 2: to Utah again for like thirty six hours.
- 19:25Speaker 1: I was there.
- 19:37Speaker 2: Let me tell you guys something about Utah that I
- 19:39Speaker 2: have established now.
- 19:41Speaker 1: The last time I was there.
- 19:42Speaker 2: I told you guys, it puts me in a really
- 19:44Speaker 2: really funky place. And before leaving, Easton and my mom
- 19:47Speaker 2: were like, why are you so angst? And I'm like,
- 19:49Speaker 2: I don't like going I don't like going back there.
- 19:54Speaker 2: I told them the next time that I have to
- 19:56Speaker 2: fly there. I can't do like a weekend trip, like
- 19:59Speaker 2: let's fly in and then fly out. That's what I
- 20:04Speaker 2: would like to be doing, because it's just it has
- 20:08Speaker 2: nothing to do with anybody. It's not that I hate
- 20:11Speaker 2: it there, it's just it mentally does something to me
- 20:15Speaker 2: where I feel like I'm suffocating.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Can I be honest or yes? You can always be honest.
- 20:20Speaker 3: We I think the vile vile, like the vile like, well, yeah,
- 20:26Speaker 3: dad dying, that vile call that you got and like
- 20:29Speaker 3: your you lived here and you got a phone call
- 20:33Speaker 3: that your dad has just died and you had to
- 20:36Speaker 3: get on a plane and come to Utah. So I
- 20:38Speaker 3: have a feeling that a lot of the times when
- 20:40Speaker 3: you're going back to Utah, you could like that is
- 20:43Speaker 3: interpreted into it, yeah, like subconscious like you don't know
- 20:48Speaker 3: about it, but it's like the last you know, like
- 20:50Speaker 3: because you never disliked that I'm telling you.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Until Dad died, I loved going home. It was my
- 20:55Speaker 2: favorite that went to all of my spots. I I
- 20:59Speaker 2: was there for nine day. Yeah no, I'm getting heavy chested.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:03Speaker 3: When that's when I was like, I do have anxiety
- 21:06Speaker 3: because we went and when we were on the plane,
- 21:10Speaker 3: like on my relapse, I felt like I couldn't stay
- 21:13Speaker 3: in the same place and like I would jump out.
- 21:16Speaker 3: And then on that flight home, I was so anxious
- 21:19Speaker 3: in Utah that you guys saw me. I jumped out
- 21:21Speaker 3: and I was like, I just need to walk around.
- 21:23Speaker 3: And that's when I was like, Okay, I do have anxiety.
- 21:26Speaker 3: I do need to look at this deeper. And then
- 21:29Speaker 3: I looked into Utah and I was like, why would
- 21:30Speaker 3: I dislike it? And there's so many things like yes
- 21:33Speaker 3: that I love about it, but they're like the dad
- 21:36Speaker 3: point of it is like where I don't care to
- 21:38Speaker 3: go back. Yeah, for that reason, It's like going back
- 21:41Speaker 3: to something that doesn't really exist to me anymore.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Yeah, it's I don't know if you guys have felt
- 21:47Speaker 2: this way where you know that something is familiar, but
- 21:51Speaker 2: you're unsure why you don't have You're like, this is familiar,
- 21:56Speaker 2: but why can't I I don't have memories yet. I'm
- 22:00Speaker 2: flying in and things are being triggered, but I can't
- 22:02Speaker 2: quite place it. It's a very funky, funky thing that
- 22:05Speaker 2: happens the moment I start flying in and most people
- 22:08Speaker 2: would look at the mountains and like how gorgeous it is,
- 22:10Speaker 2: and I just start panickingly. I look at downtown Salt
- 22:13Speaker 2: Lake and I'm like, oh my gosh, I feel myself
- 22:17Speaker 2: like the walls are closing in on me.
- 22:20Speaker 3: Uh. I mean, I love Utah, like there's every state is,
- 22:24Speaker 3: you know, there's different states for different people, and it's
- 22:26Speaker 3: an amazing state. I really do believe if you have
- 22:29Speaker 3: a family, it's a great place to raise your kids.
- 22:31Speaker 3: But I don't know what it is about it that
- 22:37Speaker 3: there's no it doesn't feel like there's opportunity, like you're
- 22:41Speaker 3: just at it like a dead wall.
- 22:43Speaker 2: I think it feels that way for you because there's
- 22:45Speaker 2: actually a lot of people thrive there. Ours is strictly
- 22:49Speaker 2: it represents a point in time that no longer there, and.
- 22:52Speaker 3: That's where I'm like, I feel like it's not Utah
- 22:55Speaker 3: at any point. It's like I feel like it's a
- 22:57Speaker 3: dead end because the thing that was helping me grow
- 23:00Speaker 3: through that is no longer there to help. That makes
- 23:03Speaker 3: so I have to go to a new place and
- 23:05Speaker 3: figure out.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Yeah, that's completely.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Like I don't like Utah.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it's it's rough for me, which is hard.
- 23:15Speaker 1: I don't like it.
- 23:16Speaker 2: You know, my closest friends, the russ In family and
- 23:20Speaker 2: then my older brother some some of the most important people,
- 23:25Speaker 2: the most important people in my life still live there,
- 23:27Speaker 2: and I would like to see them, right And for
- 23:29Speaker 2: the most part, they come to LA and we see
- 23:30Speaker 2: each other here. But I went back for Kandas's baby shower,
- 23:35Speaker 2: which why would she have a baby shower in La?
- 23:37Speaker 2: She would anyway, we fly in.
- 23:41Speaker 1: How funny that they just are here now?
- 23:43Speaker 3: Yeah, now with them yesterday in Utahn, You're like, all right,
- 23:46Speaker 3: see you tomorrow, see.
- 23:47Speaker 1: At the beach. So we fly in. Everything's easy.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Lisa and I park pack in one suitcase, like literally everything.
- 23:55Speaker 1: I can get rid of these women the way Ocean is.
- 23:58Speaker 2: A phenomenal traveler because she has to do that often
- 24:02Speaker 2: we land, Lisa's like, I've already checked us in for
- 24:05Speaker 2: the car just goes straight down into the garage. It hurts,
- 24:07Speaker 2: and I'm like all right, great. So we go into
- 24:09Speaker 2: the front area down in the parking garage and I'm like, hey,
- 24:12Speaker 2: we just need to get the car. We're all checked
- 24:13Speaker 2: in and he's like, oh, you're not checked in. So
- 24:16Speaker 2: then he asked me for my He says, do you
- 24:18Speaker 2: want insurance for the car? I was like, no, I
- 24:19Speaker 2: have insurance. He's like, okay, I need to know who's
- 24:21Speaker 2: your carrier, and I was like, I have no idea.
- 24:25Speaker 2: So I'm trying to call my business manager, like who's
- 24:27Speaker 2: my carrier for insurance? And he's like, I'm at a concert. Lalla,
- 24:31Speaker 2: it's a fucking Saturday. I'm calling him because I don't
- 24:34Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 24:35Speaker 1: No, I have it. You found it. I'm very proud
- 24:38Speaker 1: of the point we did it. Yeah, we found it.
- 24:41Speaker 2: And then I go to pay and my AMEX says
- 24:44Speaker 2: it says approved on the little monitor, and a charge
- 24:47Speaker 2: comes through that it's pending, but nothing showing up on
- 24:49Speaker 2: hurts his end, so I do it again. Another pending
- 24:51Speaker 2: charge comes through, it's not showing up on his end,
- 24:54Speaker 2: so then I give another credit card that comes through
- 24:57Speaker 2: pending on my end and shows on their end. So
- 25:00Speaker 2: finally we get to this gorgeous electric blue Kia. That
- 25:03Speaker 2: will be my car for the thirty six hours I'm
- 25:06Speaker 2: in Utah. We drive to the hotel Little America and
- 25:11Speaker 2: Ocean is so excited and I love Little America. Like
- 25:13Speaker 2: the little coffee shop is so cute. We walk in,
- 25:17Speaker 2: I give them my ID. He's like, I don't have
- 25:20Speaker 2: a reservation for you, because I have one for a
- 25:22Speaker 2: brand in Burningham. And I was like, yeah, that's my brother.
- 25:24Speaker 2: And I go, Mom, what name did you put the
- 25:26Speaker 2: reservation under? She goes, I thought you made the reservation.
- 25:29Speaker 2: This is when I lose my shit.
- 25:30Speaker 1: You guys.
- 25:31Speaker 2: I look at her and I go on, what fucking
- 25:34Speaker 2: planet would I make a reserve.
- 25:36Speaker 1: I wouldn't even know who to call to book a room.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Guys talking about I need the reservation, Laura, I'm losing
- 25:43Speaker 2: my fucking mind. Because now it's ten o'clock. It's ten
- 25:45Speaker 2: o'clock at night.
- 25:46Speaker 1: She just learned how to change her flights, let alone
- 25:49Speaker 1: book a room. I changed a flight all by myself.
- 25:51Speaker 1: And I looked at him and I was like, can't
- 25:52Speaker 1: one be proud?
- 25:53Speaker 3: No, she said, I can't believe I did that. Five
- 25:56Speaker 3: minutes went by, and she goes guys, I can't believe
- 25:58Speaker 3: I changed a flight.
- 26:01Speaker 2: I've just always had I've just always had other people
- 26:04Speaker 2: do it.
- 26:06Speaker 1: And and that's not me just being like a bougie person.
- 26:10Speaker 1: That's I was just called life.
- 26:12Speaker 3: And also, no matter what, that is the one thing
- 26:14Speaker 3: that I will say Mom where I think her hip
- 26:18Speaker 3: and everything else has has played a role, because Mom
- 26:21Speaker 3: has always been the one she called me. She was like,
- 26:24Speaker 3: well Lauren, I go, Mom, I go, when has Lauren
- 26:28Speaker 3: ever booked anything? And that's when she was like, I
- 26:32Speaker 3: just think I've, you know, with everything going on, I've
- 26:34Speaker 3: been spacey.
- 26:35Speaker 1: And I was like, I get it, but yeah, I.
- 26:37Speaker 2: Did feel bad. I felt bad because I really lost
- 26:41Speaker 2: my mind. Because then I say to the guy, I'm like,
- 26:44Speaker 2: all right, well I'm gonna need to book a room
- 26:45Speaker 2: and he's like, well, we're all sold out. Perfect, I go,
- 26:50Speaker 2: can you please check Grand America across the street. It's
- 26:54Speaker 2: like it shows that they have a room. I was like, perfect,
- 26:57Speaker 2: I need to book it, and then he goes, actually,
- 27:00Speaker 2: I'm looking now they're also out too. This is when
- 27:03Speaker 2: I went, I don't want Utah and Utah don't want me.
- 27:06Speaker 2: This is they're telling me we don't want you get
- 27:10Speaker 2: the fuck out. So I call Limridian.
- 27:17Speaker 1: And there's too many.
- 27:19Speaker 2: I just wanted a place that I would feel comfortable in.
- 27:24Speaker 2: No one's picking up the phone, so I just roll
- 27:26Speaker 2: over there in my electric blue Kiya.
- 27:28Speaker 1: I pull up.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Lisa gets out. She's like, they have a room. I
- 27:30Speaker 2: was like, great, book it. We get out, I pay
- 27:34Speaker 2: for the room. The AMEX does the exact same thing,
- 27:37Speaker 2: comes through pending on my end, says approved on the
- 27:40Speaker 2: little thing, but isn't showing on their end. So I
- 27:45Speaker 2: put down the other card and it comes through.
- 27:49Speaker 1: We go up to the room. I apologize to mom.
- 27:52Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm really really sorry that I freaked out,
- 27:55Speaker 2: but I just need to understand how you thought I She's.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Like, Lauren, I don't know. My mind is just I
- 28:04Speaker 1: don't know.
- 28:05Speaker 2: I thought I was booking the car and booking the flights,
- 28:07Speaker 2: and I thought you were booking the room. You when
- 28:09Speaker 2: I said we're staying at Little America, you said great,
- 28:12Speaker 2: and I was.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Like, yeah, great book because I thought you had booked. Yeah,
- 28:19Speaker 1: two for three, let's go three for three. Fine, it's fine.
- 28:24Speaker 2: The beds were great, Lisa slept amazing. We wake up
- 28:27Speaker 2: The next morning, we go to Kansas's baby shower, which
- 28:29Speaker 2: was Parisian themed, my most favorite theme on the planet.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Because you serve me a croisant meats and cheeses.
- 28:38Speaker 1: Are you kidding me? With an arugal a.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Solid I'm on cloud nine. Ocean had the best time
- 28:46Speaker 2: with Sailor. They're the cutest of friends. I was so
- 28:49Speaker 2: excited because literally today we're going to go to Newport
- 28:51Speaker 2: and they're all going to be there as well. But
- 28:53Speaker 2: it was just fantastic celebrating the fact that my best
- 28:56Speaker 2: friend since kindergarten. I walked into Eastwood Elementary Missus Condy's
- 29:02Speaker 2: class first day of school. Missus Condy, I see this
- 29:06Speaker 2: cute girl with a blonde bob, big old bow in
- 29:09Speaker 2: her hair, and I remember going home and being like, mom,
- 29:12Speaker 2: there's a plural in school that I really want to
- 29:14Speaker 2: have a plateate with. So my mom calls Kristin. Kristen's
- 29:18Speaker 2: pregnant with Alec at the time, and the families have
- 29:23Speaker 2: been best friends ever since.
- 29:24Speaker 1: I know, and it's a shocker that Alec isn't in prison.
- 29:28Speaker 1: I agree. Alec was wild. Alec Russing.
- 29:32Speaker 2: He's literally the example I use when people are like,
- 29:38Speaker 2: my boy, I just think I'm gonna have problems.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Let me tell you about this kid, Alec rus.
- 29:42Speaker 3: Let me tell you about Alec Russing. I would have
- 29:44Speaker 3: nightmares about this kid. But we're all right now.
- 29:47Speaker 1: And that's Kristen's baby.
- 29:48Speaker 5: I remember he would be throwing shit at us, jays
- 29:51Speaker 5: around with weapons, and she would be like, what did
- 29:54Speaker 5: you guys do to him?
- 29:56Speaker 2: And now I understand and half the time the baby's
- 29:59Speaker 2: the baby?
- 29:59Speaker 1: Did he do us?
- 30:00Speaker 3: I remember being Zach would just be playing and Alec
- 30:03Speaker 3: would come in and you could just feel that devil
- 30:06Speaker 3: energy and he would just you throw shit at us,
- 30:09Speaker 3: and then Zach would push him into the closet and
- 30:12Speaker 3: then he would go up and cry, and then we
- 30:14Speaker 3: would get yelled at.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Yeah, and now I mean he's thriving. I'm like, don't
- 30:19Speaker 2: even worry.
- 30:21Speaker 1: It's the Alec russ In effect. They're crazy now and
- 30:24Speaker 1: then they're gonna be wildly.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Successful and wildly successful, cute girlfriend, phenomenal step dad, all
- 30:32Speaker 2: the things. And then the last day before we fly out,
- 30:38Speaker 2: we so I had to get my nails done too,
- 30:39Speaker 2: because I didn't have time to do that today for.
- 30:42Speaker 1: A reunion day is it.
- 30:44Speaker 2: Do you want me to walk in with the recent
- 30:46Speaker 2: pink nails grown out to the reunion?
- 30:49Speaker 1: I gotta look good if I got to do this
- 30:51Speaker 1: to anybody.
- 30:52Speaker 2: So I got him done and I got con to
- 30:55Speaker 2: them done in Utah. And then we met Brandon and
- 30:57Speaker 2: Cheryl and the kids at the coffee shop at Little
- 31:01Speaker 2: America and Ocean Goes.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Where are we eating? I said Brandon? He was fifty.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Fuck, we have to text him today. My older brother
- 31:10Speaker 2: is fifty years old.
- 31:13Speaker 1: He looks great, he does, he really does. I just
- 31:17Speaker 1: feel so old. I was like, you're y are? But god, damn,
- 31:21Speaker 1: you look great for me. I just with a fifty
- 31:24Speaker 1: year old now it's kind of a badass. How old
- 31:27Speaker 1: is Cheryl twenty eight?
- 31:28Speaker 2: I know right, they don't they don't age. In mind,
- 31:31Speaker 2: Cheryl is beautiful the whole. They have such a cute marriage. No,
- 31:35Speaker 2: there's such a cute marriage.
- 31:36Speaker 1: Such.
- 31:37Speaker 3: Do you want to know what pisses me off again?
- 31:39Speaker 3: What dad's dead? He set that up? Who is he
- 31:42Speaker 3: going to say? My dad?
- 31:43Speaker 2: My dad did introduce it Brandon and Cheryl.
- 31:45Speaker 1: Yeah, and look how that turned out.
- 31:47Speaker 2: They got married and they loved a beautiful life. Yeah,
- 31:50Speaker 2: and they're best friends.
- 31:52Speaker 3: Yeah, Dad was a good wing man. Yeah, and then
- 31:55Speaker 3: he said for you, I'll tap out.
- 31:57Speaker 2: They're gonna be mad at me for saying this, but
- 31:59Speaker 2: I find really cute that, like throughout the day they
- 32:01Speaker 2: send each other sexy text.
- 32:03Speaker 1: I know, but that's why they're still married. I love it.
- 32:06Speaker 1: It makes me so happy, I know, like a healthy relationship.
- 32:09Speaker 1: I know, which is like, how did I end up
- 32:12Speaker 1: where I am right now? I in my little family.
- 32:14Speaker 2: I've seen nothing but successful, healthy marriages.
- 32:19Speaker 1: How did I end up here?
- 32:22Speaker 4: I know?
- 32:23Speaker 2: Stare into the abyss. It will never make sense anyway.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Congratulations to my best friend. Her baby is coming end
- 32:32Speaker 2: of August, little virgo baby. I said, good luck, bitch,
- 32:35Speaker 2: but it is a boy. It's a boy.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Oh that could be better. It could be a lot better.
- 32:39Speaker 2: And then happy birthday to my brother Brandon. While I
- 32:41Speaker 2: was celebrating all of these fun things Easton, you watch Sosa.
- 32:46Speaker 1: How'd that go? Oh boy? Oh boy, she's delightful.
- 32:50Speaker 2: I took ocean with me so she could see one
- 32:52Speaker 2: of her friends and I left so so.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Bad with me. Yeah, and how was it? So you
- 33:00Speaker 1: have to say about your weekend? You say, hid job?
- 33:04Speaker 3: Did you have a good weekend Sosa, because I thought
- 33:06Speaker 3: we had fun.
- 33:08Speaker 1: Friday we had Chick fil A, she had some nuggies.
- 33:12Speaker 1: Saturday or yeah, Saturday, Well I left Saturday. Oh my gosh,
- 33:16Speaker 1: I thought I felt like it was Friday.
- 33:18Speaker 3: So Saturday I was gone four hours, gone long. We
- 33:22Speaker 3: had we had just dinner at the house. But Sunday
- 33:24Speaker 3: we had a day. We woke up, we made brecky,
- 33:28Speaker 3: we made some egg g E's.
- 33:30Speaker 1: Saturday I ended up leaving.
- 33:32Speaker 2: We flew in, which I'll tell you guys all about
- 33:35Speaker 2: the trip to you. But I flew in Saturday night,
- 33:38Speaker 2: so you only had her from Saturday night until Sundaday.
- 33:42Speaker 1: Yeah. No, it was easy.
- 33:43Speaker 3: We went into Nick and Joe's because their houses got remodeled. Yeah,
- 33:49Speaker 3: they're remodeling it, but it has a sheet rock up.
- 33:52Speaker 3: The walls are made ye, so now you can see it.
- 33:54Speaker 3: So we went and did that, and then me and
- 33:57Speaker 3: her drove to Home Stay and got some tacos and brisket,
- 34:01Speaker 3: and then we came home. We watched Toy Story and
- 34:06Speaker 3: hung around and some snacks. We didn't do a whole lot.
- 34:09Speaker 1: We were just kind of like around the house, walking around.
- 34:12Speaker 1: What is she like when i'm not home.
- 34:14Speaker 2: The best easy, Yes, easier there when I'm home.
- 34:17Speaker 3: When you're home, it's almost like she knows you're home.
- 34:20Speaker 3: So it's like that hangs over her head. So it's
- 34:22Speaker 3: always like where's Mama? But when you weren't here? Easy,
- 34:26Speaker 3: like not a wine, not a fuss. She didn't cry one.
- 34:29Speaker 3: She didn't even fuss from like a phone or miss
- 34:34Speaker 3: or Miss Rachel or even Issa. She's with Miss Lisa
- 34:39Speaker 3: right now. But no, we went outside. We like rolled
- 34:42Speaker 3: her down her little two step thing. We went upstairs
- 34:44Speaker 3: and played in her playroom. She loves she's kind of
- 34:48Speaker 3: daring and it scares me, but she loves grabbing the
- 34:51Speaker 3: bar that we got, Ocean, the bar that you got.
- 34:55Speaker 2: Yeah, let's bop into some pop culture and headlines. I
- 35:14Speaker 2: could not watch Game five of the Championship.
- 35:19Speaker 1: You know, I was really rooting for the Spurs. I
- 35:23Speaker 1: went heavy in the paint for the.
- 35:24Speaker 2: Spurs, became obsessed, full addiction.
- 35:28Speaker 3: Can I be honest when when Okac lost, I said
- 35:32Speaker 3: it I didn't care who won.
- 35:34Speaker 1: I really didn't.
- 35:35Speaker 3: But then after watching the series, and honestly, I have
- 35:40Speaker 3: Nick's friends fans, they're great. The way the city of
- 35:43Speaker 3: New York was like handling.
- 35:45Speaker 1: It some some people, some people. We all saw the videos.
- 35:48Speaker 1: It's not everybody.
- 35:49Speaker 3: Because also I was talking to La. La was like,
- 35:53Speaker 3: I was like, is it fucking that crazy? He was like,
- 35:56Speaker 3: you're seeing one area that's going viral the full city.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Let me tell you something. I don't care if it's
- 36:03Speaker 2: one fucking airship. The moment fans start ripping jersey like
- 36:08Speaker 2: Spurs jerseys off people. They saw one Knicks fan trying
- 36:12Speaker 2: to light this Spurs fans hair on fire water on another.
- 36:16Speaker 3: Guy getting into like a McLaren because they were a
- 36:19Speaker 3: Spurs fans, and they drove off, and like all the
- 36:21Speaker 3: comments were like you walk off when you have a
- 36:23Speaker 3: lot to lose.
- 36:24Speaker 1: It's just like I saw that.
- 36:25Speaker 3: And when I saw that, and then number like number
- 36:28Speaker 3: two is like how the Knicks or the state or
- 36:32Speaker 3: the city of New York didn't implement like a warning
- 36:37Speaker 3: of like hey, yes we get this, but like we're
- 36:39Speaker 3: not having riots, we're not having anything, like not even
- 36:42Speaker 3: a player, Like hey, we love the hype in the celebrations,
- 36:45Speaker 3: but like let's keep this cool.
- 36:47Speaker 2: Like these are people that the organization should have issued
- 36:49Speaker 2: a statement.
- 36:50Speaker 1: When them beating shit out of other people liking a team.
- 36:54Speaker 3: That's where I would be like, Okay, this is still
- 36:55Speaker 3: a game and a sport, like this is where we
- 36:58Speaker 3: have sportsmanship.
- 37:00Speaker 1: That's where I was like, hey, fuck the Nicks.
- 37:01Speaker 3: I kind of want the Spurs because of the fan
- 37:03Speaker 3: base that I am witnessing, not all of it.
- 37:07Speaker 1: Yeah, but there are a lot of great Like.
- 37:09Speaker 3: No, just to let you know, I really really really
- 37:14Speaker 3: enjoy it for them, and I just I like Brunson
- 37:18Speaker 3: a little bit.
- 37:18Speaker 1: I really hate his dad. Why do you hate his dad?
- 37:21Speaker 1: You know him? Did he do something?
- 37:22Speaker 3: No?
- 37:23Speaker 1: Just no, go Like even after.
- 37:26Speaker 3: They won the the ship, they were talking on ESPN
- 37:31Speaker 3: with Charles and all of them, and it's Brunton and
- 37:33Speaker 3: his dad and his dad is like.
- 37:34Speaker 1: No offense to my son. I love him. But Patrick Ewing,
- 37:37Speaker 1: it's like, you don't even need to bring that up.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Your son just.
- 37:40Speaker 3: Brought home a championship. Yeah, and you're gonna like, now
- 37:43Speaker 3: compare him to other greats in the New York. It's like,
- 37:45Speaker 3: let him have his fucking moment. Yeah, it's been a
- 37:48Speaker 3: long time.
- 37:49Speaker 1: Yeah. So like I was like, who the fuck is
- 37:50Speaker 1: this dickhead? Yeah, there's just a.
- 37:52Speaker 3: Lot of things I don't like this character, but I
- 37:55Speaker 3: will say, looking at it, Dallas really ship to bed Dallas.
- 38:02Speaker 3: The Mavericks, they dog they had Luca Doncic they sent
- 38:07Speaker 3: to the Lakers, okay, and they had Brunson that they
- 38:10Speaker 3: sent there. Two best that they could have been championship contenders.
- 38:13Speaker 3: That's well, they're not, No.
- 38:14Speaker 1: But I am happy for the Knicks. I'm glad they
- 38:17Speaker 1: got it.
- 38:18Speaker 3: The one thing that I'm seeing now is Carmelo Anthony
- 38:20Speaker 3: is like being a raised from New York history because
- 38:22Speaker 3: like he was the last one to like get he
- 38:25Speaker 3: was a great Nick, but like he never won a title,
- 38:27Speaker 3: never did anything. So it's like it's kind of being overshadowed.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Oh that's not good. Yeah, And I'm a I'm a
- 38:33Speaker 1: real Carmelo Anthony fellow. I love Carmelo Anthony. Yep.
- 38:38Speaker 2: To my obsession with San Antonio came.
- 38:42Speaker 1: From Stefan Castle. No, actually it.
- 38:46Speaker 2: Was I'm obsessed with him now, who isn't. I'm obsessed
- 38:49Speaker 2: with the entire starting lineup.
- 38:53Speaker 1: These people.
- 38:55Speaker 2: But in high school, my high school boyfriend and his
- 38:58Speaker 2: twin were giant Spurs fans, and I remember that, and
- 39:02Speaker 2: they were giant too, But I always remember his twin
- 39:07Speaker 2: rocking a Monu Genobli Jersey.
- 39:09Speaker 1: So when I was watching.
- 39:11Speaker 2: The series and I just this is what happens to me,
- 39:14Speaker 2: is I allow my body to tell me who I want.
- 39:17Speaker 2: And I just gravitated towards the Spurs and I was like, oh,
- 39:19Speaker 2: they're actually really fun to watch as well. And then
- 39:22Speaker 2: I became obsessed hit the order button on my Monu
- 39:25Speaker 2: Genobli Jersey, and now I think I'm a diehard. So
- 39:29Speaker 2: now none of my teams make sense. I'm a Baltimore
- 39:32Speaker 2: Ravens fan, no affiliation to Baltimore, and a San Antonio
- 39:36Speaker 2: Spurs fan.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Mostly with Baltimore. What do you mean I like the Ravens. Yeah,
- 39:41Speaker 1: you like the Orioles. The Orioles. That's about it. It's
- 39:46Speaker 1: about all it, man.
- 39:48Speaker 5: And I've never even been to San Antonio. This is
- 39:52Speaker 5: going to sound I like Charles Barkley's stuff.
- 39:55Speaker 2: He says, though about the charity they want him to apologize.
- 40:00Speaker 1: Flew them in from Houston, they flew them in from Dallents.
- 40:04Speaker 5: He's a funny motherfucker. He's so foul if I can
- 40:10Speaker 5: love him. He's wilding out when he does his commentary.
- 40:14Speaker 5: When he and shot go toes. It's my favorite. No,
- 40:18Speaker 5: it's the basil, completely rogue.
- 40:20Speaker 3: Honestly, I need them to get off of ESPN and
- 40:24Speaker 3: do like Jimmy Fallon. Not on Jimmy Fallon, but like
- 40:28Speaker 3: they should just have every night that talk show just
- 40:33Speaker 3: about that's.
- 40:33Speaker 2: Actually a really great I want him to keep them
- 40:35Speaker 2: where they are.
- 40:36Speaker 1: But also that's a good idea I watch or something. Yes,
- 40:40Speaker 1: just watch them talk. Yes, there could you.
- 40:44Speaker 3: Imagine Charles Barkley talking about like Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton, Oh,
- 40:49Speaker 3: like just just anything going on.
- 40:52Speaker 1: I'm in. He could talk about paink colors.
- 40:56Speaker 3: I'm in.
- 40:58Speaker 1: So I was very upset about that.
- 41:00Speaker 2: Couldn't watch Game five because I get too invested. So
- 41:02Speaker 2: I just literally kept refreshing the score and as long.
- 41:05Speaker 2: But then like the ball if you guys are on
- 41:08Speaker 2: Safari or Google or whatever, you see the ball bounce
- 41:11Speaker 2: and it'll be like three points, two points.
- 41:14Speaker 1: I just kept tripping out.
- 41:16Speaker 3: Yeah, no, it was on, but I kind of had
- 41:17Speaker 3: it as background noise because I was like, if you lose,
- 41:20Speaker 3: it will affect my night, because it.
- 41:22Speaker 2: Was something that people are going to be really pissed
- 41:24Speaker 2: off about. Yeah, lead Okay, so hear me out. You guys,
- 41:31Speaker 2: I saw a real that said the Spurs have youthful arrogance,
- 41:40Speaker 2: because in interviews Wemby specifically would not give credit to
- 41:46Speaker 2: the Knicks. I do not find that to be youthful arrogance.
- 41:51Speaker 2: We came to a conclusion because here's the thing. My
- 41:55Speaker 2: point was great, Your point was great. Your point was
- 41:58Speaker 2: there's still this was before then took it off. Yeah,
- 42:02Speaker 2: Easan was like, you're actively in competition with these people.
- 42:05Speaker 1: You have to play them again tomorrow night. Why am
- 42:07Speaker 1: I going to get them problem? You'll give it when
- 42:09Speaker 1: it's over.
- 42:10Speaker 3: Yeah, Like, no, I'm gonna just say no, we had
- 42:12Speaker 3: the game, we lost it ourselves.
- 42:15Speaker 1: It is.
- 42:17Speaker 3: You go, you know what, we had a lot of
- 42:19Speaker 3: chances to put games away. I have to give it
- 42:22Speaker 3: to New York that they, you know, kept the foot
- 42:25Speaker 3: on the pedal and they came back and it's a
- 42:26Speaker 3: deserved win for them.
- 42:27Speaker 1: Yes, we could have done it, but you have to
- 42:29Speaker 1: give credit to them. And that's where they're young.
- 42:32Speaker 3: They I haven't seen after they lost a loss.
- 42:37Speaker 2: It's not youthful arrogance. And yes, I don't think credit
- 42:41Speaker 2: was being given in that moment. Because they were still
- 42:43Speaker 2: actively playing the Knicks. But I also think that the
- 42:46Speaker 2: Spurs literally put the game on a silver platter and
- 42:50Speaker 2: handed it to the next because they shipped the bed
- 42:53Speaker 2: in every single second.
- 42:55Speaker 1: Past like I will give it to the next.
- 42:57Speaker 2: You can't give credit where it isn't due. You're welcome
- 43:00Speaker 2: for us not being able to keep moment when the
- 43:03Speaker 2: second happened.
- 43:03Speaker 3: This is where you'll give it to the Knicks. And
- 43:05Speaker 3: this is where you can say, I give it to
- 43:07Speaker 3: the Knicks for being down as much as they were.
- 43:11Speaker 3: And yes, the Spurs slowing down, but the fact that
- 43:14Speaker 3: the Knicks still came back and had some sort of
- 43:16Speaker 3: drive and hope to come back and did that's still
- 43:19Speaker 3: drive by the other team, and I admire that, and
- 43:22Speaker 3: they deserve some credit where credit is due. But if
- 43:24Speaker 3: san Antonio kept the game up the way they did
- 43:26Speaker 3: in the first half, we wouldn't be talking about No,
- 43:28Speaker 3: we wouldn't.
- 43:29Speaker 2: Because let me tell you something halftime.
- 43:32Speaker 3: But that's no friends, is yeah team one twenty And
- 43:37Speaker 3: I'm sorry, dearon Fox if that's your shit. Yeah, he
- 43:41Speaker 3: shit shit every game he really did, he.
- 43:44Speaker 2: Really freaking did. Anyway, let's move on to happier news.
- 43:47Speaker 2: Jasmine and Melissa got married. They are a part of
- 43:50Speaker 2: the valley. Whoop whoop it congratulations. Yes, I got text
- 43:55Speaker 2: messages that were like, oh my god, I can't believe
- 43:57Speaker 2: you weren't invited.
- 43:59Speaker 1: I was invited, did and it was really.
- 44:04Speaker 2: Sad, obviously very happy, Like I knew where I was
- 44:07Speaker 2: going Cannie's baby shower, friend of thirty plus.
- 44:13Speaker 1: Years, So that is where I was for eight years.
- 44:17Speaker 2: Trying for a baby for eight years, and finally we
- 44:19Speaker 2: get to celebrate her. So obviously that's where I was
- 44:22Speaker 2: going to be. But I loved seeing all of the
- 44:24Speaker 2: photos and little Instagram tiktoks and real I I felt
- 44:29Speaker 2: like I.
- 44:29Speaker 3: Was a part of it because I have like a
- 44:31Speaker 3: lot of Bravo World type things that like pop.
- 44:33Speaker 1: Up and there were so many like what would it
- 44:37Speaker 1: be a videos that they like put.
- 44:40Speaker 3: Together like a montage, a montage of other like everybody's videos,
- 44:44Speaker 3: like Zach's. They took some from Kristin, they just took
- 44:48Speaker 3: some from obviously like Jasmine and all of them. But
- 44:52Speaker 3: it was like really cute and I was like, wow,
- 44:54Speaker 3: I kind of feel a part of it.
- 44:55Speaker 2: I know I did have fomo and I never have film.
- 44:58Speaker 1: I wasn't invited. Those guys, don't worry.
- 44:59Speaker 2: I was hav mad fomo because it just looked like
- 45:03Speaker 2: such an authentic love. It didn't look like it was
- 45:05Speaker 2: a show for anybody. It didn't look like, you know,
- 45:09Speaker 2: some people get married and it's such a big to do.
- 45:11Speaker 2: But I felt like even when we were filming, yes,
- 45:14Speaker 2: they had the normal stressors of planning a wedding, but
- 45:18Speaker 2: it never felt like they were losing sight of the
- 45:22Speaker 2: point of it. And I think a lot of times
- 45:26Speaker 2: people can lose sight of the fact that we're getting married.
- 45:31Speaker 2: You know. It was kind of like that episode of
- 45:33Speaker 2: Sex in the City where Charlotte finally meets the love
- 45:35Speaker 2: of her life, Harry, who she's like, his name's Harry,
- 45:39Speaker 2: Harry everywhere except his head, he's ball, and then everything
- 45:43Speaker 2: goes wrong in the wedding and then they end up
- 45:45Speaker 2: standing the test of time and Charlotte's devastated by everything
- 45:48Speaker 2: going wrong, and then they flash back to like, you.
- 45:51Speaker 1: Had the perfect wedding and the marriage not so perfect.
- 45:54Speaker 2: So I just love that Josmine and Melissa never lost
- 45:58Speaker 2: sight of the fact that they were going to spend
- 45:59Speaker 2: their time together.
- 46:01Speaker 1: In an amazing marriage.
- 46:02Speaker 2: But by the way they got both, they got both
- 46:05Speaker 2: very rare. It is me saying that the wedding like
- 46:09Speaker 2: Charlotte's I'm comparing I wasn't comparing it to that. I'm like,
- 46:14Speaker 2: just the point of getting married. I don't even know
- 46:18Speaker 2: the rest of your life together. I just thought everything
- 46:20Speaker 2: was very sweet and it looked stunny, magical, fucking beautiful,
- 46:25Speaker 2: like the bridesmaid's dresses.
- 46:27Speaker 1: Everyone, it just everything. It chef's kiss.
- 46:30Speaker 2: Real Housewives of Orange County Season twenty premieres the beginning
- 46:35Speaker 2: of July.
- 46:36Speaker 1: The trailer looks so good for everybody. I can't wait
- 46:39Speaker 1: for you guys to watch that. Oh do I have
- 46:42Speaker 1: to ica?
- 46:44Speaker 2: It might be fun. It's season twenty. It's a really
- 46:46Speaker 2: big deal. And they talk about, like during the trailer,
- 46:52Speaker 2: they talk about twenty years of being housewives, which you know,
- 46:56Speaker 2: I love breaking the fourth wall.
- 46:57Speaker 1: It's like, yes, we're gonna acknowledge that we're on TV.
- 47:00Speaker 1: That's like, that's like two decades. Yeah, it's crazy wild, right.
- 47:08Speaker 2: Do you want to do an egg and relieve today?
- 47:11Speaker 2: Sometimes we do it, sometimes we don't. But I feel
- 47:13Speaker 2: like it might be fun because my egg of the
- 47:14Speaker 2: week is the Spurs losing.
- 47:16Speaker 1: That's a really good egg.
- 47:20Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I'll let you have that ache.
- 47:23Speaker 1: What's your ache? You're tired today? What are we going
- 47:28Speaker 1: to watch?
- 47:29Speaker 3: Luckily we have the World Cup right now, which I'm
- 47:32Speaker 3: not and we're getting rid of soccer all right, everybody.
- 47:37Speaker 1: What do you mean? Because nobody else in the world
- 47:39Speaker 1: calls it soccer. It's football, So.
- 47:41Speaker 3: We have to we have two footballs, but we have
- 47:43Speaker 3: to put we have football and we have football.
- 47:48Speaker 1: Okay, so right now we're watching football.
- 47:50Speaker 3: Right now, we're watching football, and I don't really care
- 47:54Speaker 3: for it, but like it's like the Olympics. Like I
- 47:56Speaker 3: don't care for swimming or track and field, but when
- 47:57Speaker 3: it's Olympics, I'm watching, and that's.
- 48:00Speaker 1: What that is.
- 48:00Speaker 2: Maybe I need to sit down and watch. That's what
- 48:03Speaker 2: with basketball. I like baseball basketball. I stopped watching for
- 48:08Speaker 2: a really long time because there were a bunch of tall,
- 48:09Speaker 2: grown men falling a lot and I was like, this
- 48:11Speaker 2: is fucking for it.
- 48:13Speaker 1: I cannot deal.
- 48:17Speaker 2: A couple others, but also my relief of the week
- 48:20Speaker 2: is that there is a new episode of The Valley tonight.
- 48:24Speaker 1: It just keeps getting better.
- 48:27Speaker 2: Mine is the same, shuh you just talked about how
- 48:32Speaker 2: great it was.
- 48:33Speaker 1: It is pretty great, but it's not like the relief.
- 48:36Speaker 2: Okay, the relief could be going, but the kids playing
- 48:41Speaker 2: on the beach. Yeah great, We're gonna have the time
- 48:45Speaker 2: of our lives. You guys, thank you for listening to
- 48:47Speaker 2: another episode of Untraditionally La La Happy hump Day. We
- 48:50Speaker 2: hope you survived the rest of the week. Reminder, a
- 48:53Speaker 2: bonus episode airs every Monday. Regular old episode is Wednesdays,
- 48:57Speaker 2: and an Unlikely Affair with Myself and Amber Childers every
- 49:00Speaker 2: Thursday at nine pm.
- 49:01Speaker 1: Love you guys.
- 49:02Speaker 2: Bye,
