- 0:06Speaker 2: We are going to launch. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
- 0:09Speaker 1: That's Chris X Radio.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Chris X.
- 0:17Speaker 3: Radio.
- 0:17Speaker 4: Chris X Radio.
- 0:21Speaker 5: What we need right now is a clear message to
- 0:23Speaker 5: the people of this country.
- 0:25Speaker 6: This message must.
- 0:26Speaker 7: Be read in every newspaper, heard on every radio, seen
- 0:29Speaker 7: on every television.
- 0:30Speaker 8: This message must resound throughout the entire intelligence.
- 0:34Speaker 2: And now, your host. I believe this is going to
- 0:36Speaker 2: be our finest hour. Chris X.
- 0:54Speaker 9: The entire interlink.
- 0:58Speaker 10: Aren't there some gatekeepers out there trying to shut our
- 1:00Speaker 10: messaging down?
- 1:01Speaker 9: I do believe that is the case. Good afternoon.
- 1:06Speaker 10: Welcome to Chris X Radio. I am the aforementioned X-Man.
- 1:09Speaker 10: Glad to have you here with us on our hump
- 1:11Speaker 10: day edition of the program. So that means it's Wednesday,
- 1:14Speaker 10: which some people try to call it hump day.
- 1:17Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 1:20Speaker 10: I got the hump day song I can play that
- 1:21Speaker 10: now I won't torture you with that. Glad to have
- 1:24Speaker 10: you here with us as we have assumed control of
- 1:26Speaker 10: the airwaves. We will maintain control of these airwaves for
- 1:30Speaker 10: the next two hours as we bring you that gift
- 1:32Speaker 10: beyond price that is almost free, ladies and gentlemen. We
- 1:36Speaker 10: bring you the spirit of talk radio. And we got
- 1:39Speaker 10: a lot going on.
- 1:40Speaker 9: I know it's weird. It's so weird because I.
- 1:44Speaker 10: Remember a time before the Trumpocalypse when sometimes there just
- 1:49Speaker 10: wasn't much to talk about. That doesn't happen anymore. Every day,
- 1:56Speaker 10: every minute, plus we're in a 24-hour news cycle, but
- 1:59Speaker 10: no one dominates the 24-hour news cycle like the great
- 2:03Speaker 10: Orange Wanda, the great Orange guy, Orange man bad, Orange man.
- 2:10Speaker 10: He's not as orange as he used to be. He's
- 2:12Speaker 10: more brown now. I guess they changed up his tanning.
- 2:16Speaker 10: Does he spray tan now? Well, I guess he sprayed
- 2:20Speaker 10: tanning before, but he doesn't look as orange, so I
- 2:22Speaker 10: guess they adjusted it. But he's definitely looking older, that's
- 2:27Speaker 10: for sure, and he dominates the news. Also, by the way,
- 2:31Speaker 10: if you want to join us today, 281-558-KSCV, 281-558-5738. Speaking
- 2:40Speaker 10: of the president, the Secret Service, or his security team,
- 2:44Speaker 10: seems to be getting better.
- 2:46Speaker 9: And I'll tell you what I mean. They arrested a guy.
- 2:51Speaker 10: As he was scoping out the golf course in California.
- 2:55Speaker 10: a couple of days before the president was there instead
- 2:57Speaker 10: of waiting till the guy sitting there trying to pump
- 2:59Speaker 10: off a few shots at the president.
- 3:01Speaker 9: So they seem to be getting better.
- 3:03Speaker 10: Clearly the secret service is better than the DEI hires
- 3:07Speaker 10: at the Biden administration provided for Donald Trump. So as
- 3:11Speaker 10: he was running for president, man, it was a bizarre time.
- 3:14Speaker 10: You guys remember just a little over, was it, was
- 3:16Speaker 10: it two years ago when Donald Trump was running for
- 3:20Speaker 10: president and he spoke in this place called Butler, Pennsylvania and,
- 3:24Speaker 10: And while he was on the stage, there's some dude
- 3:25Speaker 10: climbed up to the most strategic vantage point possible. Some
- 3:30Speaker 10: 21-year-old kid with an AR-15 popped off about eight shots
- 3:35Speaker 10: before they shot.
- 3:35Speaker 9: Him and killed him.
- 3:36Speaker 10: He murdered Corey Campatori, a family man who was in
- 3:40Speaker 10: the audience, wounded a couple of others, shot the president
- 3:43Speaker 10: through the ear.
- 3:43Speaker 9: And then, of course, now.
- 3:47Speaker 10: We were told that the Secret Service, you know, shot
- 3:50Speaker 10: when they could, but they recognized him before he popped
- 3:53Speaker 10: off the shots. First of all, why wasn't that area secured?
- 3:59Speaker 10: Even the local police were like, why is this not secured?
- 4:01Speaker 10: Why is there somebody up there? What is going on?
- 4:03Speaker 10: And they were going and they actually confronted the shooter
- 4:05Speaker 10: before he popped off those shots. And anyway, they shot
- 4:13Speaker 10: and killed him. I guess one shot apparently hit the
- 4:15Speaker 10: rifle itself.
- 4:17Speaker 9: And then, I guess, I don't know.
- 4:18Speaker 10: If it was a Secret Service or security or whatever,
- 4:21Speaker 10: the next shot, I guess they killed the kid. And
- 4:24Speaker 10: then they investigated it and they cleared off the roof
- 4:27Speaker 10: and then they took that kid and incinerated him within
- 4:30Speaker 10: a week or two. And now nobody talks about it anymore.
- 4:35Speaker 10: No one will explain why the most strategic vantage point
- 4:37Speaker 10: possible at a candidate running for president, former president, was
- 4:45Speaker 10: left wide open. And somebody was able to climb up
- 4:48Speaker 10: there and do this.
- 4:49Speaker 9: It was insane. And they're really not answering questions.
- 4:52Speaker 10: And why the Biden administration provided, it wasn't even really
- 4:55Speaker 10: Secret Service. It was Department of Homeland Security people. There
- 5:00Speaker 10: was this woman who was wholly unprepared. All of them
- 5:04Speaker 10: really looked unprepared. And then after getting shot through the ear,
- 5:07Speaker 10: Trump stood up and threw his arm up, screamed, fight, fight, fight.
- 5:11Speaker 10: Dude just got shot through the ear, had blood on
- 5:13Speaker 10: his face. A guy behind him was murdered and killed.
- 5:16Speaker 10: Two others were injured. And Trump stood up and said, fight.
- 5:20Speaker 10: People wonder why he got reelected overwhelmingly in the country,
- 5:24Speaker 10: which is still roughly, you.
- 5:26Speaker 9: Know, 60, 40. Did that really happen?
- 5:33Speaker 10: Yeah, not only did it happen shortly thereafter, another time
- 5:36Speaker 10: a dude went on a golf course, one of Trump's
- 5:38Speaker 10: golf course, hid in the bushes for like 12 hours
- 5:41Speaker 10: and then started shooting as Trump was approaching. Now he
- 5:44Speaker 10: was shooting at Secret Service who shot back and then
- 5:46Speaker 10: that guy jumped in the car and took off and
- 5:48Speaker 10: then they.
- 5:48Speaker 9: Caught him later. Okay, that happened.
- 5:50Speaker 10: Now a California man apparently carrying ammunition on his person,
- 5:55Speaker 10: he had a gun or maybe multiple guns in his car,
- 5:58Speaker 10: was arrested on Sunday. at President Trump's Los Angeles area
- 6:03Speaker 10: golf course. After authorities say he was observed walking through
- 6:07Speaker 10: the grounds, taking photographs and video, and monitoring security preparations
- 6:13Speaker 10: two days before a scheduled fundraiser that will feature the president.
- 6:20Speaker 10: So once again, I have to give the Secret Service
- 6:23Speaker 10: security credit. They're getting better because they caught this dude
- 6:28Speaker 10: when he was scoping the place out. And then they
- 6:31Speaker 10: went back to his car and found guns and munitions
- 6:35Speaker 10: and things at his home.
- 6:36Speaker 12: And the.
- 6:38Speaker 10: L.A. Sheriff's Department announced the arrest on Tuesday as Trump
- 6:41Speaker 10: was getting ready to head to Los Angeles for this
- 6:43Speaker 10: Republican National Committee fundraising dinner at Trump National Golf Course
- 6:48Speaker 10: in Los Angeles. The event will take place in the
- 6:52Speaker 10: coastal suburb of Rancho Palos Verdes, just south.
- 6:56Speaker 9: Of L.A., Now, the guy's name, it's weird. He looks Latin,
- 7:02Speaker 9: I think. His name is Janine.
- 7:04Speaker 10: First of all, that's a woman's name, right? Have you
- 7:08Speaker 10: ever met a woman named Janine? I don't know if
- 7:10Speaker 10: he was non-binary or gay or trans, but he has
- 7:14Speaker 10: a beard and dark hair and dark skin.
- 7:18Speaker 9: Janine John Tale, T-A-E-L-E.
- 7:22Speaker 10: Ortega, I'm not sure, 38 years old, of Downey was
- 7:27Speaker 10: carrying a 16-round magazine with ammunition in his pocket when
- 7:32Speaker 10: they contacted him. A loaded pistol was recovered from his car,
- 7:36Speaker 10: which had been parked on the golf course's property. He
- 7:39Speaker 10: was arrested of suspicion of carrying a concealed firearm and
- 7:42Speaker 10: possessing prohibited ammunition. Authorities also said he had already been
- 7:48Speaker 10: under investigation by the El Segundo Police Department in an
- 7:51Speaker 10: unrelated robbery case from last year.
- 7:53Speaker 9: Seems like a really good dude. So the good thing
- 7:55Speaker 9: is they set his bail at $ 250, 000. Wait, that's it?
- 8:07Speaker 10: Okay, so we'll go through that on today's program. Okay,
- 8:09Speaker 10: so that happened, and that really was coming out yesterday,
- 8:12Speaker 10: but I wanted to make sure that we covered that
- 8:14Speaker 10: and opened the program with this.
- 8:15Speaker 9: They're still trying to kill President Trump. They're not going
- 8:18Speaker 9: to stop.
- 8:19Speaker 10: I'm glad to see the security is doing a little
- 8:21Speaker 10: better in catching these guys early before they actually are
- 8:26Speaker 10: able to pop off some shots. I do fear for
- 8:28Speaker 10: the president's life. I know there's a portion of the
- 8:31Speaker 10: electorate out there that wants him dead. I'm not one
- 8:35Speaker 10: of those people that relishes in the thought of dead politicians.
- 8:41Speaker 10: I don't want any politician being assassinated, even the ones
- 8:43Speaker 10: that I despise. Okay, so we got that. I was
- 8:49Speaker 10: trying to line up a guest, which, by the way,
- 8:50Speaker 10: doesn't look like I never got back with me. Anyway,
- 8:53Speaker 10: regarding more, we talked with somebody last week about.
- 8:58Speaker 10: About data centers well there's an update governor abbott has
- 9:01Speaker 10: ordered state regulators to audit pending data center projects seeking
- 9:06Speaker 10: connections to the state's electric grid a move that ercot
- 9:09Speaker 10: says effectively pauses those projects as texas is working with
- 9:14Speaker 10: soaring electricity demand here by the summer and then of
- 9:17Speaker 10: course driven by artificial intelligence infrastructure so we'll go through
- 9:22Speaker 10: some of that today so effectively the data centers are
- 9:25Speaker 10: on hold This is an issue that Republicans are having
- 9:30Speaker 10: to contend with. I'm looking, and I'm going to try
- 9:33Speaker 10: to get somebody from the data center coalition and try
- 9:39Speaker 10: to get somebody on the program from that and talk
- 9:41Speaker 10: about it and let them explain, I guess, similar to
- 9:43Speaker 10: what we talked about here last week, but why these
- 9:46Speaker 10: data centers are important and how many do we actually
- 9:49Speaker 10: need and, of course, dealing with, like I said, trying
- 9:52Speaker 10: to keep up with China, okay, China, and some of
- 9:57Speaker 10: these other you know, uh, Deals, I guess.
- 10:02Speaker 9: So we'll get into that as well. Okay, so there
- 10:04Speaker 9: were some primary runs last night.
- 10:06Speaker 10: I don't talk a whole lot about these primaries in
- 10:08Speaker 10: other states because really, literally, we can't really do much
- 10:10Speaker 10: about it here. We don't get to vote in them.
- 10:13Speaker 10: But it is interesting to watch what's happening. Everybody claims
- 10:17Speaker 10: it's all over but the counting for the Democrats to
- 10:19Speaker 10: just have a clean sweep in November. But the Democrats
- 10:23Speaker 10: are having a bit of a civil war on their own.
- 10:26Speaker 10: Abdul El-Sayed narrowly defeats Haley Stevens. and the Democrat establishment
- 10:32Speaker 10: and will now face Republican Mike Rogers in Michigan.
- 10:36Speaker 9: So that's interesting.
- 10:39Speaker 10: This Abdul, Abdul Al-Sayed had defeated this establishment Democrat, Haley Stevens,
- 10:45Speaker 10: according to the race calls from NBC and the decision desk.
- 10:49Speaker 10: Apparently it was very close and they were still counting
- 10:52Speaker 10: mail-in ballots.
- 10:54Speaker 9: Oh, that's funny.
- 10:55Speaker 10: So that happened last night. And once again, we had Democrats, Well,
- 11:00Speaker 10: I'll get into who is supporting who. TDS sufferer and
- 11:04Speaker 10: impeachment recidivist Michigan Representative Sri Thandar.
- 11:09Speaker 9: Thandar the barbarian. I like to call him Thandar the vulgarian.
- 11:15Speaker 10: He lost his own primary to a Democrat socialist, Donovan McKinney,
- 11:20Speaker 10: last night. This is the latest victory for progressives who
- 11:24Speaker 10: have been on a hot streak ousting incumbents in these
- 11:26Speaker 10: safe blue districts. These are districts where the Democrats are
- 11:30Speaker 10: most likely going to win. Well, Fandar, if you've seen him,
- 11:33Speaker 10: you know who I'm talking about. He's this old Indian dude,
- 11:37Speaker 10: but he's got really dark hair, like no gray, because
- 11:40Speaker 10: he dyes his hair.
- 11:41Speaker 9: It looks ridiculous, and he looks ridiculous.
- 11:45Speaker 10: But then he's like, oh, yes, we're going to impeach
- 11:47Speaker 10: Donald Trump again. They want to throw me out of
- 11:49Speaker 10: the country. We're going to impeach him. We're going to
- 11:52Speaker 10: take Donald Trump. We're going to take him outside. We're
- 11:54Speaker 10: going to tar and feather, and then we're going to
- 11:56Speaker 10: impeach him.
- 11:57Speaker 2: No, I'm not.
- 11:57Speaker 9: I'm just kidding. But I'm not kidding about impeaching him.
- 12:02Speaker 10: We're going to impeach him today and then tomorrow and
- 12:04Speaker 10: then again and again and again. We will continue impeaching
- 12:08Speaker 10: him over and over and over again until I can't
- 12:10Speaker 10: serve anymore next year because you've been ousted in your
- 12:13Speaker 10: own primary by a Democrat socialist candidate. Because you know
- 12:18Speaker 10: what they say? Democrat socialism is way better than regular
- 12:23Speaker 10: socialism because it's communism on steroids. Well, maybe I say that.
- 12:29Speaker 10: Maybe nobody else does. That's not all who lost last night.
- 12:34Speaker 10: Wesley Ball defeated former squad member, you remember Cori Bush, right?
- 12:38Speaker 10: She's a bundle of joy. When she got smoked again
- 12:41Speaker 10: by this guy, got beat, and she got crushed 68.9%
- 12:47Speaker 10: versus 27.2%. She got obliterated by Wesley Ball in the primary.
- 12:53Speaker 10: He's beaten her before, but now he's beaten her again.
- 12:57Speaker 10: So the Democrats, they're—once again, it's going to be real
- 13:04Speaker 10: interesting to see what happens. Now, with Saeed narrowly beating
- 13:09Speaker 10: Haley Stevens, they're going to go up against Mike Rogers,
- 13:12Speaker 10: the Republican candidate, in Michigan. This gives the Republican candidate
- 13:16Speaker 10: a shot. So if they can put some money behind them,
- 13:19Speaker 10: get things going in the right direction, we may be
- 13:21Speaker 10: able to see, you know, a Republican winning in Michigan—
- 13:28Speaker 10: It's going to be tough, but the Democrat Party continues
- 13:31Speaker 10: to move in the socialist-communist direction.
- 13:34Speaker 9: No, they're straight-up communist. Okay.
- 13:37Speaker 10: Senator Susan Collins of Maine, a Republican, quote-unquote, announced that
- 13:42Speaker 10: she will vote against President Trump's nomination of Todd Blanche
- 13:45Speaker 10: to serve as Attorney General.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Okay.
- 13:49Speaker 10: Thanks, Susan Collins. Speaking of bundles of fresh.
- 13:53Speaker 9: Air, she's just a treat. I'll call her a treat.
- 13:58Speaker 10: She's just such a treat. And we have kind of
- 14:01Speaker 10: a Chris X-Files today. It's kind of, I mean, I
- 14:04Speaker 10: wouldn't call it a full out, all outright, you know,
- 14:06Speaker 10: Chris X-Files, but kind of Chris X-Files. Early this morning,
- 14:10Speaker 10: a SpaceX rocket slammed into the moon at seven times
- 14:14Speaker 10: the speed of sound. I watched the video. Holy smoke,
- 14:19Speaker 10: that rocket was hauling. Now lunar orbiters are trying to
- 14:23Speaker 10: get a look at the aftermath. Now, this morning, about 2.35 a.m.,
- 14:28Speaker 10: I thought I heard a noise. The upper stage of the.
- 14:32Speaker 9: SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket crashed into the moon.
- 14:35Speaker 10: To dissect exactly what happened, scientists are looking at imagery
- 14:39Speaker 10: of the crash and with help of a couple of
- 14:41Speaker 10: moon probes.
- 14:42Speaker 9: So we'll get into that.
- 14:43Speaker 10: I'll go through that entire, well, not the entire article.
- 14:46Speaker 9: But most of it.
- 14:47Speaker 10: That's kind of a Chris X-Files story. I mean, on
- 14:51Speaker 10: the video, I watched it. It smacks into the moon.
- 14:54Speaker 10: There's a big plume of dust. Instead, there's not really
- 14:57Speaker 10: an explosion because there's no atmosphere on the moon.
- 15:00Speaker 9: But it hit, and it was traveling fast.
- 15:04Speaker 10: And we'll go into some of the details about what
- 15:07Speaker 10: the impact looks like and what happened.
- 15:08Speaker 9: Let's go ahead and take a break.
- 15:09Speaker 10: We'll take your phone calls if you want to weigh
- 15:11Speaker 10: in on any of the primaries last night. You want
- 15:14Speaker 10: to talk about... Them trying to kill President Trump again?
- 15:18Speaker 10: Because clearly this guy was an attempted assassin. They just
- 15:21Speaker 10: got to him before he could do anything. Or Governor
- 15:24Speaker 10: Abbott basically effectively pausing the data centers here in Texas.
- 15:30Speaker 10: Make sure they're not draining on the grid away from
- 15:32Speaker 10: taxpaying Texans.
- 15:33Speaker 9: 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738. I'm Chris X. Don't you go anywhere. We'll
- 15:36Speaker 9: be right back.

- 18:19Speaker 18: across your screen. Remember, you're always going to get a
- 18:22Speaker 18: better deal on one that you go looking for than
- 18:25Speaker 18: one that comes looking for you. You need to deal
- 18:27Speaker 18: with somebody who gives a you-know-what, whether or not you're
- 18:30Speaker 18: happy in the end. At Baker Mortgage, we do it right.
- 18:33Speaker 18: We haven't been around for 68 years because we're lucky.

- 18:54Speaker 9: License number 263213. Fake news hates us.
- 18:57Speaker 2: Fake news hates us. Chris X Radio. Chris X Radio.
- 19:12Speaker 10: Now, this is one of those songs that I really
- 19:14Speaker 10: enjoyed playing live.
- 19:17Speaker 9: It's Come Down by Bush. That's a good song.
- 19:20Speaker 10: And they were a band that was really hot in
- 19:21Speaker 10: the 90s, and then I guess they just disappeared like
- 19:24Speaker 10: everybody else. I remember, what was the singer's name? Gavin Rosdale.
- 19:29Speaker 10: I think he was married to Gwen Stefani for a while.
- 19:32Speaker 10: Then somebody told me he came out as gay or
- 19:34Speaker 10: bi or I don't know. How would you marry Gwen
- 19:41Speaker 10: Stefani if you're gay? That doesn't make any sense to me.
- 19:45Speaker 10: Then again, why would you run for Senate in the
- 19:47Speaker 10: state of Texas, the U.S.
- 19:48Speaker 9: Senate?
- 19:50Speaker 10: And brag about trans people when you're gay? I mean,
- 19:53Speaker 10: if you were not, if you're the most heterosexual ever.
- 19:56Speaker 10: Fanboy over trans podcast hosts. Really?
- 20:02Speaker 9: Anyhow, welcome back to Chris X Radio. It is your
- 20:04Speaker 9: hump day edition. That is right.
- 20:06Speaker 10: It is Wednesday here on The Voice of Texas. Oh,
- 20:08Speaker 10: it's only about 99 degrees in my area. So we
- 20:11Speaker 10: are definitely in the dog days of August.
- 20:14Speaker 9: It is very hot.
- 20:16Speaker 10: So if you're outside and you're dealing with this heat,
- 20:22Speaker 10: my Lord.
- 20:22Speaker 9: It's hard enough to keep your house cool on the inside.
- 20:25Speaker 10: Everybody's electric bills are going to be pretty high. No,
- 20:27Speaker 10: mine are up, but mine aren't as bad as they
- 20:29Speaker 10: used to be, I guess, in some ways. I remember
- 20:33Speaker 10: there was one summer here in Studio X where I
- 20:36Speaker 10: just had to cool down the whole house. And like
- 20:39Speaker 10: I said, I'd set the air conditioner like on 68 degrees,
- 20:43Speaker 10: and it was running. The rest of my house was freezing,
- 20:46Speaker 10: and I was cooking here in Studio X. We had
- 20:48Speaker 10: put in a return. It just couldn't offset the heat
- 20:51Speaker 10: from all the equipment.
- 20:52Speaker 9: And I said, okay, we've got to get this figured out.
- 20:55Speaker 10: So finally I was able to get the split unit, and, man,
- 20:58Speaker 10: that was– Boy, that changed the world. Now I sit
- 21:01Speaker 10: here in this icy cold temperature freezing, which I love,
- 21:05Speaker 10: by the way.
- 21:06Speaker 9: It's so funny.
- 21:06Speaker 10: I can turn it up, make it a little more comfortable,
- 21:09Speaker 10: I guess. But no, I'm leaving it right where it's at.
- 21:14Speaker 10: This actually is good because the machinery performs better when
- 21:18Speaker 10: it's cold. I had to replace my computer, the mainframe
- 21:22Speaker 10: computer that I use not too long ago. And my brother,
- 21:25Speaker 10: he's Mike X. He's a computer nerd guru. And he
- 21:30Speaker 10: what happened was the fan, because it was so hot
- 21:32Speaker 10: in the room, ran constantly.
- 21:34Speaker 9: And then it went out. And then he said, oh,
- 21:36Speaker 9: you can just oftentimes replace that. He goes, no, no.
- 21:38Speaker 10: He goes, man, you fried the whole thing. It was
- 21:41Speaker 10: so hot in here. I was like, oh, that makes sense.
- 21:43Speaker 10: So I have a backup computer, another one. The fan,
- 21:46Speaker 10: every now and then it'll kick on and makes noise.
- 21:48Speaker 10: So that one didn't run quite as often, but here
- 21:51Speaker 10: we are. So dealing with the heat.
- 21:55Speaker 9: By the way, quick shout out.
- 21:56Speaker 10: I want to send my thoughts and prayers to my cousin.
- 21:59Speaker 10: My dad's brother passed away last night, his uncle Sam.
- 22:03Speaker 10: which I know it's a tie in with America, but
- 22:06Speaker 10: he was the guy that, you know, one of the,
- 22:08Speaker 10: I guess the families that were closer on dad had
- 22:11Speaker 10: brothers and sisters. Most of them lived elsewhere, but Sam
- 22:14Speaker 10: has always lived in the Austin area and he made it.
- 22:17Speaker 10: He actually lived not only longer than my dad, he
- 22:20Speaker 10: lived about just a few months longer. My dad, you know,
- 22:23Speaker 10: basically made it just a week shy of his 85th birthday.
- 22:26Speaker 10: And then my uncle lived to be 85 and a
- 22:29Speaker 10: couple of.
- 22:29Speaker 9: Months, two or three months. And he passed away last night.
- 22:32Speaker 10: So to my cousin Shannon and their family, I know
- 22:35Speaker 10: that's a tough time for them right now as they
- 22:37Speaker 10: go through the process. But Sam, the reason why I
- 22:39Speaker 10: mentioned him, one, he's a family member. But two, I
- 22:42Speaker 10: talk about going up to the hill country. Those were
- 22:44Speaker 10: my fondest memories of my uncle because we would go.
- 22:47Speaker 9: Up and hunt.
- 22:48Speaker 10: And he was a great, always was a fantastic hunter.
- 22:51Speaker 10: So I had, you know, always had a great time
- 22:54Speaker 10: up there hunting with my uncle and my dad. And
- 22:56Speaker 10: that I still go up to the same ranch. Like
- 22:59Speaker 10: I said, they were going up there 50 years ago.
- 23:01Speaker 10: And I started about 45, 46, 47 years ago, maybe
- 23:05Speaker 10: 48 years ago. So I went up there and then
- 23:08Speaker 10: took a bit of a break when I got into
- 23:10Speaker 10: radio and then started going back up. And then that's
- 23:13Speaker 10: one of the reasons why, literally the only reason why
- 23:16Speaker 10: between my dad and my uncle, or of course my cousin,
- 23:19Speaker 10: But literally, those are the reasons I like to go
- 23:21Speaker 10: up there because they're very fond memories. My dad was
- 23:24Speaker 10: always in such a good mood, and it was the
- 23:27Speaker 10: most relaxed I'd ever seen him. And my uncle was always,
- 23:30Speaker 10: you know, he was different, but he was cool, and
- 23:32Speaker 10: he was a great hunter. The other thing, too, was
- 23:35Speaker 10: my dad was good at this, but my uncle, he
- 23:37Speaker 10: was known, he was a stalk hunter. You know what
- 23:40Speaker 10: a stalker is? Most people call hunting. It really has
- 23:43Speaker 10: nothing to do with hunting. They put up a feeder
- 23:46Speaker 10: and then you feed these animals like the hogs in
- 23:48Speaker 10: my case or deer or whatever. And then they sit
- 23:51Speaker 10: in a blind or whatever. And then when the deer
- 23:53Speaker 10: come up, they look for a good one.
- 23:54Speaker 9: They shoot it. They call it hunting and then they
- 23:58Speaker 9: go clean it. And there you go.
- 23:59Speaker 10: Well, we didn't do that back in the day. we
- 24:04Speaker 10: would go and my, my dad and my uncle, and
- 24:06Speaker 10: usually my brother would be with my dad. And oftentimes
- 24:08Speaker 10: I was with my uncle and we would walk. And
- 24:10Speaker 10: there were times where, you know, he would walk, he
- 24:12Speaker 10: was such a good hunter. We would walk up on,
- 24:14Speaker 10: you know, a whole six, seven, eight, nine, 10 deer.
- 24:19Speaker 10: There was one time where he said there, he shot,
- 24:20Speaker 10: was it five at one time? Now, That literally cleans
- 24:28Speaker 10: out your entire tags. And I guess they can't do
- 24:32Speaker 10: anything to them now. So I'll admit, this was one
- 24:35Speaker 10: of the last days of deer season. And my younger
- 24:38Speaker 10: brother wasn't, he was very young at the time and
- 24:41Speaker 10: hadn't filled out his tags. So basically we were filling
- 24:45Speaker 10: out the tags. That was what he did. This is
- 24:49Speaker 10: probably 79 or 80 maybe. And we were able to
- 24:54Speaker 10: fill out all the tags, and that way they had
- 24:56Speaker 10: enough meat. And we ate all the deer, of course.
- 25:01Speaker 10: But that was back then. But, I mean, it was
- 25:02Speaker 10: not uncommon for him to shoot two or three deer
- 25:04Speaker 10: at one time. And I remember walking with him. I
- 25:07Speaker 10: was walking right behind him.
- 25:08Speaker 9: And he just pulls up his gun, pow, pow, pow.
- 25:11Speaker 9: Shoots three of them. I was like, man. And I
- 25:14Speaker 9: was a little kid back then.
- 25:15Speaker 4: So.
- 25:16Speaker 10: but they were good hunters. And I remember hunting with
- 25:19Speaker 10: my uncle Sam. And so now I guess he's off
- 25:22Speaker 10: in that, you know, deer pasture in the sky. I'm
- 25:26Speaker 10: sure he's reunited with my dad and their brothers and sisters.
- 25:30Speaker 10: So anyway, so shout out to the family and our
- 25:33Speaker 10: thoughts and prayers are with them as they navigate this.
- 25:36Speaker 10: And we just went through it, like I said, five
- 25:37Speaker 10: years ago.
- 25:38Speaker 9: With my dad.
- 25:38Speaker 10: It's almost five years ago to the day. I mean,
- 25:41Speaker 10: we're within, within a month.
- 25:43Speaker 9: So It's just, that's rough.
- 25:47Speaker 10: And I know the vast majority of our listeners have
- 25:49Speaker 10: been through it as well. So, but once again, whenever
- 25:52Speaker 10: I talk about why I like to go up to
- 25:54Speaker 10: the hill country, that he was a big part of it,
- 25:56Speaker 10: along with my dad. We had the most fun. I've
- 26:00Speaker 10: always said, I never got any thrill out of killing deer.
- 26:03Speaker 10: I mean, it was the hunt, you know, it's the
- 26:05Speaker 10: thrill of the chase. But when you capture them, you know, that's,
- 26:08Speaker 10: like I said, it wasn't, I never got any thrill
- 26:10Speaker 10: out of killing animals. And I still don't get any
- 26:12Speaker 10: thrill out of it. That's why I don't hunt deer,
- 26:15Speaker 10: even though I'm on a deer lease. But I do
- 26:17Speaker 10: hunt the hogs because they cause a tremendous amount of damage.
- 26:20Speaker 10: And they cost these ranch owners millions of dollars. And
- 26:23Speaker 10: they are a pest, a parasite, whatever. So that's why
- 26:27Speaker 10: I'll hunt the hogs. And I don't kill many of those.
- 26:29Speaker 10: I do it kind of for the sport. but also,
- 26:33Speaker 10: once again, to help out. The more you shoot at them,
- 26:36Speaker 10: it's the only way you can kind of curtail that
- 26:38Speaker 10: population because just in the last few months since the
- 26:42Speaker 10: season ended and it started getting hot, there's so many
- 26:45Speaker 10: new piglets that I see coming around with the hogs. So,
- 26:48Speaker 10: I mean, literally need to get up and do it again.
- 26:50Speaker 10: The guys in the South Pasture, they're still there. They're
- 26:52Speaker 10: good hog hunters as well. They seem to be really
- 26:55Speaker 10: the only ones that sort of get out and hunt
- 26:57Speaker 10: the hogs or coyotes or, you know, these pests. The varmints,
- 27:03Speaker 10: if you will, the coyotes or the bobcats or.
- 27:07Speaker 9: Is it anything that goes? And we've seen there's one
- 27:10Speaker 9: lately I've seen a deer, a doe, a doe, a deer.
- 27:13Speaker 9: As my dad said, a teenage deer.
- 27:17Speaker 10: I've seen that there's a doe came by with twins.
- 27:19Speaker 10: You don't get to see twins with spots very often,
- 27:21Speaker 10: but this is the time of year. So there's some
- 27:23Speaker 10: cute little deer that come by and I'm like, hey, man,
- 27:25Speaker 10: stay at my feet or you kids, you kids are safe.
- 27:28Speaker 10: If you do that now, nobody's about shooting with spots
- 27:30Speaker 10: on them. But the mother and the deer are fat
- 27:33Speaker 10: because they got a lot of rain this year.
- 27:35Speaker 9: So they've had plenty of food to eat. Even when
- 27:38Speaker 9: my feeder was out of food for a while, they
- 27:39Speaker 9: still had plenty. So it's cute to see them come by.
- 27:42Speaker 10: But I'm seeing, man, there's one hog about the size
- 27:45Speaker 10: of a rhinoceros that is coming back.
- 27:47Speaker 9: We brought the whole family the other night.
- 27:49Speaker 19: So.
- 27:50Speaker 9: At some point, I'll be heading back up. That's why
- 27:52Speaker 9: I'm also– you know, I mentioned this too. I called a.
- 27:55Speaker 10: Location here around Houston looking for a suppressor. You know,
- 27:59Speaker 10: the noise suppressor? They call them silencers, but they're not silencers.
- 28:03Speaker 10: They're noise suppressors. And depending on how much you want
- 28:05Speaker 10: to pay. So if anybody knows somebody that knows a lot,
- 28:09Speaker 10: cause I don't know anything about them.
- 28:10Speaker 9: I talked to a guy for the.
- 28:11Speaker 10: First time they got rid of that $ 200 tax tag
- 28:15Speaker 10: fee or whatever they called it.
- 28:17Speaker 9: So that's not the case anymore. So you can buy
- 28:18Speaker 9: them for cost, but you still have to go. And
- 28:21Speaker 9: it's funny.
- 28:21Speaker 10: You have to get fingerprinted and all that stuff, which
- 28:23Speaker 10: I already did because I have my license to carry,
- 28:26Speaker 10: but I want to go get a suppressor. And I don't,
- 28:27Speaker 10: I don't want one for a pistol. I just want
- 28:30Speaker 10: one for my AR and, that I go up there
- 28:32Speaker 10: and hunt hogs with so I don't necessarily have to
- 28:34Speaker 10: wear the ear protection. I don't like walking around with
- 28:38Speaker 10: the ear protection on. If I'm just sitting in a blind,
- 28:40Speaker 10: that ain't no big deal. But if I'm walking around
- 28:42Speaker 10: and I stalk hunt, like my uncle, my dad, and
- 28:46Speaker 10: sometimes that's the way I hunt the hogs. So I
- 28:48Speaker 10: want to be able to do that and be able
- 28:52Speaker 10: to have a gun that I can fire that's not
- 28:53Speaker 10: going to blow my ears out. So I talked to
- 28:55Speaker 10: a guy about the suppressors. I don't know anything about them.
- 28:59Speaker 10: he was recommending one called Stacy's mom, which I thought
- 29:02Speaker 10: was hilarious. So you want to play the song Stacy's moms.
- 29:07Speaker 10: I said, man, I hear that suppressor has got it
- 29:09Speaker 10: going on. Uh, so, but he was recommending that one.
- 29:12Speaker 10: That one has all these different things you can do.
- 29:14Speaker 10: I don't know if that's the one I'm going to get,
- 29:16Speaker 10: but I'm going to go try to get one.
- 29:17Speaker 9: That is affordable. We're talking five, six, $ 700 by the way.
- 29:20Speaker 10: And then, uh, But get one that's not really adjustable
- 29:25Speaker 10: that I can put on and leave it and I
- 29:27Speaker 10: don't have to mess with it. And I want something
- 29:29Speaker 10: that really cuts the decibel level down. He was telling
- 29:31Speaker 10: me they cut it down from generally an ar is
- 29:34Speaker 10: about 190 200 decibels but these ars what is it
- 29:39Speaker 10: i think the stacy's mom cuts it down like 138
- 29:40Speaker 10: so it's substantial they're still loud it changes the intonation
- 29:45Speaker 10: so it's a different sound and i guess the animals
- 29:47Speaker 10: don't hear it as well but it takes off you
- 29:49Speaker 10: know it cuts a lot of that stuff that would
- 29:52Speaker 10: blow your ears out because those ars are loud but
- 29:56Speaker 10: literally that's the only reason i want one I want
- 29:59Speaker 10: one just to cut it down so it's not so
- 30:00Speaker 10: damn loud if I'm walking around and shoot because otherwise
- 30:04Speaker 10: ears get blown out. And by the way, it's kind
- 30:06Speaker 10: of important for me to be able to hear in
- 30:09Speaker 10: the radio industry, to say the least. Okay, sorry, that
- 30:11Speaker 10: was a sidebar. That should be a Friday show on
- 30:15Speaker 10: Thursday story.
- 30:16Speaker 9: Let's take a break. We'll come back. We'll talk a
- 30:18Speaker 9: little bit about speaking of guns.
- 30:20Speaker 10: This dude that decided to go and try to scope
- 30:25Speaker 10: out Trump's golf.
- 30:26Speaker 9: Course preparing for.
- 30:28Speaker 10: Well, he had a lot of bullets on him, had
- 30:30Speaker 10: some guns in his car, had other stuff at home.

- 33:14Speaker 22: Backyard Bay radio program, now at our new time, every
- 33:18Speaker 22: Saturday morning at 9 a.m., right here on The Voice.
- 33:24Speaker 4: From the KSCV Weather Center, tonight expect clear skies with
- 33:27Speaker 4: high humidity and a low of 79. Tomorrow anticipate partly
- 33:31Speaker 4: sunny conditions with isolated thunderstorms possible in the afternoon, reaching
- 33:35Speaker 4: a high of 95. Tomorrow night will be mainly clear
- 33:39Speaker 4: and humid with a low of 78. Looking ahead to Friday,
- 33:42Speaker 4: it will be sunny to partly cloudy with a chance
- 33:44Speaker 4: of a thunderstorm in some areas in the afternoon and
- 33:47Speaker 4: a high of 94. With the KSCV Weather Center forecast,
- 33:50Speaker 4: I'm AccuWeather Meteorologist Jason Catarina.
- 34:00Speaker 2: And now, back to Chris X Radio. Chris X Radio.
- 34:03Speaker 2: On the Voice of Texas.
- 34:06Speaker 5: Maybe you can't.
- 34:15Speaker 9: Go wrong with a little Satch. A little Joe Satriani.
- 34:21Speaker 9: Surfing with the alien.
- 34:23Speaker 10: I wonder if that rocket that just crashed into the
- 34:24Speaker 10: moon was surfing with the alien. You know, this disclosure thing, boy,
- 34:29Speaker 10: they're drip, drip, dripping it, aren't they? By the time
- 34:32Speaker 10: they release the fact that we've been visited by aliens
- 34:35Speaker 10: for probably 100 years at least, probably longer.
- 34:39Speaker 9: Then no one's going to care. That's how the drip, drip, drip, drip, drip, drip,
- 34:44Speaker 9: drip method works. Welcome back to Chris X Radio. I'm
- 34:47Speaker 9: the aforementioned X-Man. Glad to have you here with us
- 34:49Speaker 9: on our hump day edition.
- 34:51Speaker 10: Went off on a little bit of a tangent in
- 34:52Speaker 10: the last segment, so I'll get back to business. 281-558-KSEV
- 34:56Speaker 10: if you want to join us.
- 34:57Speaker 9: 281-558-5738.
- 34:58Speaker 10: Okay, so I want to go through this. A California
- 35:03Speaker 10: man carrying ammunition on his person. Why he was carrying
- 35:07Speaker 10: ammo without a gun.
- 35:08Speaker 9: Oh, the gun was in the car.
- 35:12Speaker 10: Was arrested on Sunday at President Trump's Los Angeles area
- 35:15Speaker 10: golf course after authorities say he was observed walking through
- 35:19Speaker 10: the grounds, taking photographs and video, appearing to scout and
- 35:24Speaker 10: monitor security preparations two days before a scheduled fundraiser that
- 35:29Speaker 10: would feature the president.
- 35:32Speaker 23: The L.A.
- 35:32Speaker 10: County Sheriff's Department announced the arrest Tuesday as Trump prepared
- 35:36Speaker 10: to land in Los Angeles for the Republican National Committee
- 35:39Speaker 10: fundraising dinner at Trump's national golf course. The event will
- 35:43Speaker 10: take place in the coastal suburb of Rancho Palos Verdes,
- 35:50Speaker 10: just south of L.A. Now, deputies said the guy's name
- 35:54Speaker 10: is weird because he doesn't look like a Janine at all.
- 35:57Speaker 9: But his first name is Janine John Tael, T-A-E-L-E. He's
- 36:04Speaker 9: of Downey.
- 36:04Speaker 10: He was carrying a 16-round magazine with ammunition in his
- 36:07Speaker 10: pocket when they contacted him. By the way, that's frowned
- 36:12Speaker 10: upon in the communist state of California. A loaded pistol
- 36:17Speaker 10: was also recovered from his car, also frowned upon in
- 36:20Speaker 10: the communist state of California, which, by the way, the
- 36:23Speaker 10: car was parked on the golf course's property. He was
- 36:25Speaker 10: arrested on suspicion of carrying a concealed firearm and possessing
- 36:30Speaker 10: prohibited ammunition. Authorities also said he had already been under
- 36:34Speaker 10: investigation by the El Segundo Police Department in an unrelated robbery.
- 36:39Speaker 9: Case from last year.
- 36:42Speaker 10: His bond has been set at only $ 250, 000, which is
- 36:46Speaker 10: crazy to me. A guy who's scouting out the president's
- 36:49Speaker 10: golf course where the president.
- 36:51Speaker 9: Is armed to the teeth and they only gave him $ 250, 000 bond.
- 36:56Speaker 10: I guess he didn't murder anyone, so he didn't get
- 36:58Speaker 10: out on a PR bond, I guess, in these communist-controlled states.
- 37:03Speaker 10: He faces possible charges related to large-capacity magazine, short-barreled rifle, shotgun,
- 37:08Speaker 10: and the 2025 robbery. Detectives assigned to the FBI's Joint
- 37:13Speaker 10: Terrorism Task Force obtained and executed a search warrant on
- 37:16Speaker 10: Monday at Tayel's residence. where they discovered a range of
- 37:23Speaker 10: items that included firearms, magazines, ammunition, body armor, and notebooks
- 37:28Speaker 10: containing what the sheriff's department called, quote, concerning statements.
- 37:33Speaker 9: Well, what did it say? You can tell us or not.
- 37:40Speaker 10: Trump has owned the Rancho Palos Verdes property for years.
- 37:43Speaker 10: The course has held political and private events in the past.
- 37:46Speaker 10: Plainclothes federal agents first reported the suspicious-looking individual on the
- 37:50Speaker 10: golf course on Sunday afternoon, and deputies from the Lornita
- 37:54Speaker 10: station responded. They made contact with Tehill and discovered the
- 37:58Speaker 10: ammunition and the loaded firearm. Once again, I say this
- 38:03Speaker 10: is an upgrade. The guy did not get off any shots.
- 38:06Speaker 10: He didn't run through Secret Service and shoot one while
- 38:09Speaker 10: President was about to have the White House Correspondents' Dinner.
- 38:15Speaker 10: He didn't get off shots that killed someone like poor
- 38:17Speaker 10: Cory Campatori and his family and injure two others and
- 38:20Speaker 10: shoot the President through the ear like what happened in Butler, Pennsylvania.
- 38:23Speaker 10: He didn't hide behind bushes and fire off shots and
- 38:26Speaker 10: get into a gunfight with Secret Service while the President
- 38:29Speaker 10: was shortly in tow behind.
- 38:31Speaker 8: No, no.
- 38:32Speaker 10: This guy got caught a couple of days early. So
- 38:34Speaker 10: that tells me, well, it's a good sign. Maybe security
- 38:37Speaker 10: is getting better. Maybe they're getting better at protecting the president.
- 38:41Speaker 10: Because at this point, it should be clear to everyone
- 38:44Speaker 10: that they have no interest in protecting.
- 38:46Speaker 9: Well, I'm sorry.
- 38:48Speaker 10: The radicals have no interest in stopping trying to murder
- 38:52Speaker 10: the president. They're going to continue to try to kill
- 38:57Speaker 10: the president of the United States. They have somehow determined
- 39:01Speaker 10: that it is okay and they want to try to
- 39:03Speaker 10: murder him.
- 39:06Speaker 9: He's the root of all evil.
- 39:07Speaker 10: Somehow it's okay to murder Donald Trump because, well, if
- 39:10Speaker 10: you had a chance to kill Hitler, well, you'd go
- 39:12Speaker 10: do it. Which is really faulty logic, which is what
- 39:19Speaker 10: happens when you're dealing with Democrats because they don't use
- 39:22Speaker 10: a thing called logic.
- 39:24Speaker 9: They respond entirely emotionally unhinged and they're insane.
- 39:29Speaker 10: And they will kill you when you disagree with them
- 39:32Speaker 10: so of course they want to kill Donald Trump because
- 39:34Speaker 10: he's very outspoken just like they killed Charlie Kirk a
- 39:41Speaker 10: guy as nice as could be he just dared to
- 39:44Speaker 10: have a conversation so he had to be killed we've
- 39:48Speaker 10: seen this throughout history Presidents are often targets for assassination.
- 39:52Speaker 9: I think it's happened.
- 39:54Speaker 10: Everybody is every president who served probably in the last,
- 39:57Speaker 10: I don't know, 30, 40 years has probably been targeted
- 40:00Speaker 10: for assassination. If you go back and look, I'm sure
- 40:03Speaker 10: you'll find it. Some more than others. I don't think
- 40:06Speaker 10: anybody has been targeted as many times as Donald Trump has.
- 40:10Speaker 10: I mean, you got Iran trying to kill him. You
- 40:12Speaker 10: got Democrats trying to kill him. You got 21-year-olds trying
- 40:15Speaker 10: to kill him. You got 38-year-olds trying to kill him.
- 40:18Speaker 10: People are trying to murder him.
- 40:22Speaker 9: I love the meme. There's a meme that goes back to,
- 40:25Speaker 9: it's like back in the, what is it, the 80s.
- 40:30Speaker 10: And Donald Trump says, I just got visited by myself
- 40:34Speaker 10: in the future. And they keep, why do they keep
- 40:36Speaker 10: trying to kill me? I'm just a real estate developer. Yeah, well,
- 40:42Speaker 10: that changed. It turned out you're a Republican.
- 40:44Speaker 9: Oh, my God.
- 40:45Speaker 10: Oh, dear Lord, we can't have this. I remember when
- 40:50Speaker 10: he announced he was running the first time. I said, man,
- 40:52Speaker 10: if he will do half of what he wants to do,
- 40:56Speaker 10: he will be a thousand times better than any Democrat.
- 40:59Speaker 9: That is still the case. It is a no-brainer.
- 41:05Speaker 10: I voted for Donald Trump all three times he has
- 41:08Speaker 10: run for president. I'll vote for him again in 2028.
- 41:10Speaker 9: Just kidding.
- 41:13Speaker 10: He's not running, or is he? I don't think he's
- 41:18Speaker 10: going to run. I think finally he might actually retire.
- 41:21Speaker 10: At a certain point, you got to think, God, man,
- 41:23Speaker 10: aren't you sick of this stuff?
- 41:25Speaker 9: Wouldn't you be tired?
- 41:25Speaker 10: I mean, how long can you go with people trying
- 41:29Speaker 10: to murder you, people trying to impeach you constantly? They
- 41:32Speaker 10: lose their mind. The Trump derangement syndrome, people like Rosie O'Donnell,
- 41:36Speaker 10: who left the country, and then she said, I think
- 41:38Speaker 10: Donald Trump is obsessed with me. Well, all she does
- 41:41Speaker 10: is melt down online about Donald Trump all day, every.
- 41:44Speaker 9: Day, but he's obsessed with her. There you go. I
- 41:47Speaker 9: actually heard, was.
- 41:49Speaker 10: It on Kill Me, was Tyrus filling in and he
- 41:51Speaker 10: interviewed a guest and a guest talked about how Trump
- 41:53Speaker 10: derangement syndrome is real. He said one of the reasons
- 41:56Speaker 10: why it's a real disorder is that those who have
- 41:59Speaker 10: it are a little, you know, as someone else mentioned,
- 42:03Speaker 10: their cracker may, their cheese may not be all the
- 42:05Speaker 10: way on their cracker. And what happens is then they
- 42:08Speaker 10: go in and you become this Trump deranged individual and
- 42:11Speaker 10: you hate Trump. And instantly, the moment you hate Trump,
- 42:14Speaker 10: you have a built-in support system that is millions of
- 42:17Speaker 10: people wide. So that really sort of changes the dynamic. Oh, well,
- 42:26Speaker 10: that makes sense why Trump derangement syndrome is a real thing.
- 42:29Speaker 10: And that's why these weirdos somehow think this is a
- 42:32Speaker 10: good thing. First of all, you're trying to murder someone.
- 42:35Speaker 10: First of all, you're trying to murder the president of
- 42:36Speaker 10: the United States, I guess, second of all. And then
- 42:39Speaker 10: third of all, you're just insane because you're going to
- 42:41Speaker 10: get caught one way or the other, whether you pull
- 42:43Speaker 10: it off or not. But generally, that doesn't, you know,
- 42:46Speaker 10: you're not able to pull it off. They haven't successfully
- 42:50Speaker 10: assassinated and murdered a president since, well, Kennedy. They shot Reagan,
- 42:57Speaker 10: hurt him pretty good. They shot, they didn't wound, you know,
- 43:01Speaker 10: Trump is bad. But they shot him through the ear.
- 43:04Speaker 10: They've tried. And then the whack jobs not only do that,
- 43:07Speaker 10: then they come out with the crazy conspiracy theories, which
- 43:10Speaker 10: are absolutely insane.
- 43:11Speaker 9: It was staged. So Trump staged it where a guy
- 43:14Speaker 9: shot him through the ear. Okay, I got you. That
- 43:16Speaker 9: makes perfect sense. No, it doesn't. All right, let's go
- 43:21Speaker 9: and take a break. We'll come back. Hey, Mike and Tom,
- 43:23Speaker 9: hold on. We'll get to you here in the next segment.
- 43:24Speaker 10: We've got to take a very short break, so we'll
- 43:26Speaker 10: make sure we come back and get you here before
- 43:27Speaker 10: we wrap things up in the next segment for the
- 43:29Speaker 10: first hour and then get you rolling for hour number two.
- 43:34Speaker 9: Once again, these people are, they're insane.
- 43:37Speaker 10: Even the guy who murdered Charlie Kirk, right after he
- 43:40Speaker 10: murdered him, he went and was telling, was it his gay, trans,
- 43:46Speaker 10: furry lover or whatever? He goes, man, I feel terrible.
- 43:50Speaker 10: I think I made a bad mistake.
- 43:51Speaker 9: You think you.
- 43:53Speaker 10: Murdered someone in cold blood because you disagreed with them
- 43:56Speaker 10: and somehow you think that was a good thing? How
- 43:59Speaker 10: did that make sense on any level other than the
- 44:01Speaker 10: fact that liberalism is a mental disorder and these people
- 44:04Speaker 10: are nuts? But it doesn't mean they don't know what
- 44:06Speaker 10: they're doing.
- 44:08Speaker 9: 281-558-KSEV. You're listening to Chris X Radio. We'll be right back.
- 44:12Speaker 9: Don't you go anywhere.

- 47:29Speaker 19: Man, I.
- 47:36Speaker 10: Love Hocus Pocus.
- 47:37Speaker 9: My focus is Gary Hoey's version.
- 47:41Speaker 10: Crazy sort of progressive jazz rock, weird 70s band. But
- 47:47Speaker 10: as a young, budding drummer in the 80s, I love
- 47:50Speaker 10: this song because there's a great drum breakdown in it.
- 47:53Speaker 9: Remember I introduced it, I'm like, wait, who, what?
- 47:55Speaker 2: What is this?
- 47:56Speaker 9: This is amazing.
- 47:58Speaker 10: Anyway, welcome back to Chris X Radio. I am the
- 48:00Speaker 10: aforementioned X-Man. Glad to have you here with us as
- 48:03Speaker 10: we will control the airways for another hour. We're going
- 48:05Speaker 10: to wrap up this first hour and then we'll come
- 48:07Speaker 10: right back at you. We've got a lot to get into.
- 48:09Speaker 10: In hour number two, we'll talk about Governor Abbott. ordering
- 48:12Speaker 10: state regulators to audit pending data center projects, seeking connections
- 48:16Speaker 10: to the state's grid. The move, ERCOT says, effectively pauses
- 48:21Speaker 10: all the projects as Texas deals with soaring electricity demand
- 48:25Speaker 10: driven by this artificial intelligence infrastructure. The AI stuff apparently
- 48:33Speaker 10: uses a tremendous amount of electricity. So they got to
- 48:37Speaker 10: deal with that. And then, of course, water issues as well.
- 48:40Speaker 10: So that'll be very interesting. I had reached out to
- 48:43Speaker 10: was the data center coalition. And I hadn't heard back yet.
- 48:46Speaker 10: I'm trying to get somebody on maybe tomorrow, maybe next
- 48:48Speaker 10: week and get somebody on from the coalition.
- 48:51Speaker 9: And talk about because we talked to somebody. These things
- 48:53Speaker 9: are important.
- 48:54Speaker 10: Everybody thinks, oh, man, I'm using my smartphone. Everything I'm
- 48:57Speaker 10: doing is saved on the cloud. Well, I hate to
- 48:59Speaker 10: tell you this, but the cloud ain't in the cloud.
- 49:01Speaker 10: The cloud is a data center somewhere and we need them.
- 49:06Speaker 10: People were trying to compare us to China. It's like, well, no,
- 49:10Speaker 10: there is a comparison to China and other countries, but
- 49:13Speaker 10: we're the biggest consumers on the planet. And everything we
- 49:16Speaker 10: consume online is in a cloud, quote unquote.
- 49:19Speaker 9: Data center. somewhere. So we'll get to that here in
- 49:22Speaker 9: the next hour.
- 49:23Speaker 10: And then like I said, I'm going to try to
- 49:24Speaker 10: get a guest on once again, probably tomorrow or next week.
- 49:28Speaker 9: Anyway, 281-558-KSEV.
- 49:30Speaker 10: If you want to join us here before we wrap
- 49:32Speaker 10: up the first hour, 281-558-KSEV. Let's go to Mike listening
- 49:36Speaker 10: in Tomball. Mike, thank you for hanging on. Welcome to
- 49:38Speaker 10: Chris X Radio.
- 49:40Speaker 1: Chris, threatening the president or the vice president of the
- 49:46Speaker 1: United States with physical harm or death is against federal law.
- 49:50Speaker 1: You don't have to do it. Just the threat of
- 49:53Speaker 1: it is against federal law. And those people that threaten
- 49:58Speaker 1: the president or the vice president with physical harm should
- 50:03Speaker 1: be or he does it or tries it to be
- 50:06Speaker 1: prosecuted to the absolute fullest extent of the law. regardless
- 50:11Speaker 1: of whether that president or vice president is Republican or Democrat.
- 50:15Speaker 1: It cannot be tolerated. The left can't use their hatred
- 50:21Speaker 1: of Trump as a defense like they think they can.
- 50:24Speaker 1: That's so deranged and stupid to say they use their
- 50:28Speaker 1: hatred of Trump as a defense mechanism. That's just ludicrous.
- 50:33Speaker 1: And it really, really, both left and right, who are
- 50:39Speaker 1: law-abiding citizens, to see that threats like this against the
- 50:45Speaker 1: president and the vice president, regardless of party, is wrong
- 50:49Speaker 1: and should be taken to the fullest extent. And I'll
- 50:52Speaker 1: close with this. In 2020, there was a group of
- 50:56Speaker 1: nuts that built the gallows and was threatening, hang Mike Pence,
- 51:00Speaker 1: hang Mike Pence, when he was a sitting VP. Those
- 51:04Speaker 1: people should have been prosecuted to the full extent of
- 51:08Speaker 1: the law for that threat against him as well. I
- 51:12Speaker 1: do not believe in violence like that. It is wrong,
- 51:16Speaker 1: but especially against our leaders, regardless of party. And that
- 51:22Speaker 1: is neither Republican or Democrat. That's just what's right.
- 51:27Speaker 9: Well, as you mentioned, it's federal law.
- 51:30Speaker 20: It is federal law.
- 51:31Speaker 1: Who threaten a president or vice president, it's against federal law.
- 51:35Speaker 10: But it doesn't seem to be deterring anyone these days,
- 51:38Speaker 10: does it? It doesn't deter many of these crazies on.
- 51:40Speaker 9: The left, does it?
- 51:42Speaker 20: No, it doesn't.
- 51:43Speaker 1: I don't understand. They think that because they can hate Trump,
- 51:48Speaker 1: that there was a senator from New Jersey, Rucker Booker,
- 51:51Speaker 1: I believe, was trying to say, to get someone to say,
- 51:54Speaker 1: I don't remember who he was, to try to get
- 51:57Speaker 1: someone to say that that's a defense. That's no defense.
- 52:00Speaker 1: That's ludicrous. And the left, those people who abdicate that,
- 52:06Speaker 1: if they do it, they need to be prosecuted, regardless
- 52:10Speaker 1: of which party it is. I don't care which party
- 52:13Speaker 1: it is. I don't care. And that's the way I feel.
- 52:17Speaker 1: I call it the way I feel. That's the way
- 52:19Speaker 1: I feel.
- 52:20Speaker 9: Thank you for the call, Mike. Good points.
- 52:22Speaker 10: Yeah, it is a crime. It is a federal crime,
- 52:25Speaker 10: threatening a president, threatening someone. But then when you have people,
- 52:30Speaker 10: senators like I don't know, maybe the brother of a
- 52:34Speaker 10: scientist or an astronaut who does this thing saying you
- 52:37Speaker 10: don't have to comply with the president if he gives
- 52:39Speaker 10: unlawful commands. And they do this little commercial and it
- 52:43Speaker 10: runs out and they're actively calling for people to oppose
- 52:46Speaker 10: the president of the United States. And then, of course,
- 52:48Speaker 10: you've got these governors and these Democrats that actively hate
- 52:52Speaker 10: and say Trump needs to.
- 52:53Speaker 9: Be taken out. We need to 86-47.
- 52:56Speaker 10: Former head of the fbi or the cia or whatever
- 53:01Speaker 10: these people that have determined it is okay that actively
- 53:06Speaker 10: call for violence and do it under a guise of
- 53:08Speaker 10: whatever and then you find yourself where we are today
- 53:11Speaker 10: it reminds me of i don't know if you saw
- 53:12Speaker 10: this uh earlier this week there was this lady she
- 53:17Speaker 10: was a muslim she was arguing that hey listen the
- 53:21Speaker 10: i'm not like these other muslims that are uh that
- 53:25Speaker 10: are willing to actually burn you to death.
- 53:27Speaker 9: But if you don't stop doing what you're doing, well,
- 53:30Speaker 9: you'll get it from us.
- 53:31Speaker 10: What?
- 53:32Speaker 9: Hour number two is up next.
- 53:34Speaker 23: AM 700, KSCV, Tomball, Houston, and streaming online at kscvradio.com,
- 53:40Speaker 23: the voice of Texas.
- 53:44Speaker 6: News this hour from Town Hall. I'm Keith Peters in Washington.
- 53:50Speaker 6: Abdul El-Sayed, an insurgent, former public health official... who harnessed
- 53:55Speaker 6: Democratic frustration with the party establishment, narrowly defeated Congresswoman Haley
- 54:00Speaker 6: Stevens in Michigan's U.S. Senate primary, setting up a crucial
- 54:04Speaker 6: test for progressives in a key battleground state. Senate Majority
- 54:08Speaker 6: Leader John Thune says he's looking forward to the general
- 54:11Speaker 6: election in Michigan after Democrats nominated Al-Sayed, who will face
- 54:15Speaker 6: off against Republican Mike Rogers.
- 54:18Speaker 3: I think it's a great contrast. Like Al-Sayed, Rogers is
- 54:22Speaker 3: a great candidate, very experienced, ran last time, learned a lot,
- 54:26Speaker 3: and I think is running a terrific campaign and fortunately
- 54:31Speaker 3: benefited this time from not having to have a divisive
- 54:33Speaker 3: primary like what happened in his last race.
- 54:35Speaker 6: The outcome of the Michigan Senate race could help decide
- 54:38Speaker 6: control of the U.S.
- 54:40Speaker 12: Senate.
- 54:41Speaker 6: A heavily armed man who was checking out security at
- 54:43Speaker 6: Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, ahead
- 54:47Speaker 6: of the president's visit there, is under arrest.
- 54:50Speaker 26: The 38-year-old facing five charges, including a felony, staff spotting
- 54:55Speaker 26: him scoping out security on Friday prior to the president's
- 54:58Speaker 26: visit there on Tuesday. Court documents say the suspect was
- 55:01Speaker 26: wearing an earpiece while taking pictures and videos of security
- 55:05Speaker 26: guards and surveillance cameras on the property. The suspect returned
- 55:09Speaker 26: again on Saturday, and that's when he was arrested. Detectives
- 55:12Speaker 26: finding bullets in his pocket and a loaded gun in
- 55:15Speaker 26: his car. When they search his home, they find a rifle,
- 55:18Speaker 26: body armor, and a notebook reportedly containing disturbing statements about
- 55:22Speaker 26: the president.
- 55:23Speaker 6: Correspondent Laura Winters reporting. Iran and Oman have moved closer
- 55:27Speaker 6: to an agreement on the Strait of Hormuz. This comes
- 55:30Speaker 6: after President Trump said a deal to reopen the critical
- 55:33Speaker 6: waterway could be announced soon. The Strait's closure has driven
- 55:37Speaker 6: up global fuel prices. More at townhall.com.

- 57:04Speaker 2: From KSEV, here's political contributor Ben Strewsand.
- 57:09Speaker 28: Most polling shows that Republicans are going to have a
- 57:12Speaker 28: tough time winning majorities in both houses of Congress in November.
- 57:16Speaker 28: Voters blame Trump for inflation and believe that many of
- 57:20Speaker 28: the necessities they need to purchase have become unaffordable. Two
- 57:24Speaker 28: out of three voters don't believe that preventing Iran from
- 57:28Speaker 28: building a nuclear weapon is worth the higher gas prices
- 57:31Speaker 28: that they are paying. Voters never give a president credit
- 57:35Speaker 28: for preventing bad things like a nuclear war from happening.
- 57:39Speaker 28: President Trump should realize by now that the Islamic Republic
- 57:42Speaker 28: will never agree to a deal that results in a
- 57:45Speaker 28: Trump win. The mullahs read the polls and see the
- 57:48Speaker 28: domestic political pressure to end the war. It's part of
- 57:51Speaker 28: their strategy. We should stop chasing a bad deal. This
- 57:55Speaker 28: does not mean that we should resume unlimited airstrikes, but
- 57:58Speaker 28: rather targeted decapitation strikes against their leadership, as the Israelis
- 58:04Speaker 28: used effectively. If Iranian leaders won't cut a deal, then let's.
- 58:09Speaker 21: Get new ones. The real leverage we have against Iran
- 58:12Speaker 21: is economic.
- 58:13Speaker 28: We destroyed what Iran took decades to build, their defense
- 58:17Speaker 28: industrial base used to manufacture drones, missiles, and nuclear weapons.
- 58:24Speaker 21: Inflation in Iran is running at 40%.
- 58:26Speaker 28: The blockade collapsed the revenue stream used by the Revolutionary
- 58:32Speaker 28: Guard Corps, their security services, and all the government infrastructure.
- 58:37Speaker 28: If our blockade is allowed to continue and not stopped
- 58:40Speaker 28: by Democrats and a few Republicans, lame duck Republicans in Congress,
- 58:45Speaker 28: we can eliminate the mullah's leverage over its people. We
- 58:49Speaker 28: don't need regime change to pressure them into a better
- 58:53Speaker 28: deal for us.
- 58:54Speaker 9: Just perseverance.
- 58:56Speaker 28: Intercepting what leaks out via Iran's shadow tanker fleet.
- 59:00Speaker 21: Will speed the process.
- 59:01Speaker 28: The best guess is this pressure will take six months
- 59:05Speaker 28: to show results, right around the time of the elections.
- 59:10Speaker 21: I'm Ben Strewsand, and that's my view.
- 59:14Speaker 2: Ben Strewsand, only on AM700 KSEV.
- 59:22Speaker 14: Thank goodness our weather experts are providing us with hurricane
- 59:25Speaker 14: tracking charts and reminding us to be prepared for big storms.
- 59:28Speaker 14: But they overlook one very important thing, the damage and
- 59:30Speaker 14: destruction from broken limbs and uprooted trees. Call Lewis Flory
- 59:34Speaker 14: at Ability Tree Experts today. My friend for nearly 40 years.
- 59:38Speaker 14: At 281-441-4179 and let him explain how this problem can
- 59:43Speaker 14: be minimized with professional pruning. You see, when the tree
- 59:46Speaker 14: canopy is too thick and dense, the tree can be
- 59:48Speaker 14: completely blown over and tree limbs broken, causing terrible damage
- 59:52Speaker 14: to the tree and maybe your home. Where tree limbs break?
- 59:56Speaker 14: Sap will ooze, and that attracts harmful insects. So you
- 59:59Speaker 14: need to call Louis Flory today at 281-441-4179 and have
- 1:00:05Speaker 14: his experts come out and professionally prune your trees to
- 1:00:09Speaker 14: withstand sudden storms that are so frequent this time of year.
- 1:00:12Speaker 14: Visit their website at AbilityTrees.com. That's 281-441-4179. Ability Tree Experts,
- 1:00:20Speaker 14: Houston's leading tree care professional.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: Launch Control, this is Houston.
- 1:00:31Speaker 15: We are going to launch.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: Five, four, three.
- 1:00:39Speaker 5: Two, one.
- 1:00:42Speaker 9: That's Chris X Radio.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: Chris X Radio.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: What we need.
- 1:00:46Speaker 5: Right now is a clear message to the people of
- 1:00:49Speaker 5: this country.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: This message must.
- 1:00:51Speaker 7: Be read in every newspaper, heard on every radio, seen
- 1:00:54Speaker 7: on every television.
- 1:00:55Speaker 16: This message must resound throughout the entire interlink.
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: And now, your host. I believe this is going to
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: be our finest hour. Chris X.
- 1:01:19Speaker 9: So John Fetterman.
- 1:01:22Speaker 10: Apparently laughed in the face of Abdul Al-Sayed after the
- 1:01:27Speaker 10: Democrat Socialists called him ugly and said he should be
- 1:01:30Speaker 10: put on a pike. And Fetterman said, Chief, I own mirrors.
- 1:01:35Speaker 10: I know I'm an ugly guy. Fetterman said Al-Sayed's attacks
- 1:01:41Speaker 10: show little man syndrome and warned his arrogance during the
- 1:01:44Speaker 10: primary could come back.
- 1:01:45Speaker 9: To bite him.
- 1:01:47Speaker 10: Wolf Blitzer was like, Are you willing to unify with
- 1:01:50Speaker 10: Abdul El-Sayed, for example, who's now the Democrat nominee, the
- 1:01:54Speaker 10: Democrat candidate?
- 1:01:56Speaker 9: And Fetterman said, oh, yeah, the tough guy. He called
- 1:01:58Speaker 9: me ugly.
- 1:01:59Speaker 10: Then I should be on a pike. And I'm like, chief,
- 1:02:02Speaker 10: I own mirrors. I know I'm ugly.
- 1:02:04Speaker 9: But if you want me on.
- 1:02:04Speaker 10: A pike, I mean, he has like a really like
- 1:02:08Speaker 10: a little man syndrome kind of energy.
- 1:02:11Speaker 9: And now he's really arrogant in that race. And now.
- 1:02:15Speaker 10: He has just found out, you know, less than a
- 1:02:17Speaker 10: majority of Democrats want him.
- 1:02:20Speaker 9: So, Fetterman is a weird guy. You know what? I've
- 1:02:26Speaker 9: said this before. I'm going to say it again.
- 1:02:29Speaker 10: The doctor who treated Fetterman after his last stroke that
- 1:02:32Speaker 10: he had, because he had stroke and had depression, and
- 1:02:36Speaker 10: I remember talking about him because I'm not a fan
- 1:02:38Speaker 10: of most of his policies, but whoever that doctor was
- 1:02:42Speaker 10: who treated him, Not only does that guy deserve a raise,
- 1:02:45Speaker 10: second of all, he should treat every single Democrat. Because Fetterman,
- 1:02:51Speaker 10: even though he's nothing close to being a Republican, is
- 1:02:54Speaker 10: the only one that is standing up to the lunacy,
- 1:02:57Speaker 10: the anti-Semitism, and the insanity that is running rampant through
- 1:03:01Speaker 10: the Democrat Party today.
- 1:03:03Speaker 9: And then you got guys like El-Sayed, who won last night. Barely.
- 1:03:08Speaker 10: And we'll get to that in this hour. You've got
- 1:03:11Speaker 10: people like Sri Thandar. Thandar the Gregarian. I call him
- 1:03:16Speaker 10: Thandar the Vulgarian. Even though he's not really vulgar, he's
- 1:03:19Speaker 10: just an Indian guy who looks really weird because he
- 1:03:23Speaker 10: dyes his hair. It should be gray, but it's not
- 1:03:25Speaker 10: gray because it's very black. It's very dark, and he
- 1:03:28Speaker 10: has a weird haircut. It almost looks like he's wearing
- 1:03:31Speaker 10: a wig. I don't think he is, but it looks
- 1:03:34Speaker 10: that way. And Thandar got beat to Democrat Socialist Donovan McKinney.
- 1:03:40Speaker 10: Once again, these Democrat Socialists, most of them are very anti-Jewish, anti-Israel, anti-Semites.
- 1:03:47Speaker 10: Wesley Ball defeated former squad member, Corey Bush, who this
- 1:03:51Speaker 10: may be a little bit of a reversal so we
- 1:03:53Speaker 10: can get to that. Anyway, welcome back to Chris X radio.
- 1:03:56Speaker 10: You've reached the second hour of the program. Glad to
- 1:03:58Speaker 10: have you here on our hump day edition of the program.
- 1:04:01Speaker 10: This is the final hour of the program of the show.
- 1:04:03Speaker 10: We'll go from four to six as we do each
- 1:04:05Speaker 10: Monday through Thursday. Tomorrow we'll be back for our Friday
- 1:04:09Speaker 10: show on Thursday. That's where we have a little fun,
- 1:04:12Speaker 10: get to goof off a bit. We do our Friday
- 1:04:15Speaker 10: show because the Amigos take over every Friday from 4
- 1:04:18Speaker 10: to 6. That is El Senador Paul Betancourt, the judge,
- 1:04:24Speaker 10: and then batting cleanup with his big bat Lucille that
- 1:04:27Speaker 10: he figuratively plants upside the head of the judge. He's
- 1:04:30Speaker 10: been trying to knock some sense into the judge with
- 1:04:32Speaker 10: it for 20-plus years, but I'm sorry, you can knock
- 1:04:38Speaker 10: on that door all you want. There ain't nobody home.
- 1:04:42Speaker 10: And the judge isn't an idiot. He's not stupid. He's
- 1:04:44Speaker 10: just a weird lefty. And just like with most lefties,
- 1:04:47Speaker 10: there is no reasoning with them. They believe what they
- 1:04:50Speaker 10: want to believe, and.
- 1:04:51Speaker 9: Sorry, your facts be damned. So.
- 1:04:57Speaker 9: It is what it is.
- 1:04:58Speaker 10: All right, so welcome back to the second hour. If
- 1:04:59Speaker 10: you want to join us, welcome to the second hour.
- 1:05:02Speaker 9: Back to the program. If you want to join us, 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738.
- 1:05:04Speaker 10: Also, this hour, we're going to, well, at least in
- 1:05:10Speaker 10: this hour, we're definitely going to get to Governor Abbott
- 1:05:15Speaker 10: ordering state regulators to audit the pending data center projects.
- 1:05:19Speaker 10: before connecting them to the state's electric grid, that ERCOT
- 1:05:23Speaker 10: says that effectively pauses those projects as Texas tries to
- 1:05:27Speaker 10: grapple with soaring electricity demand driven by artificial intelligence infrastructure.
- 1:05:34Speaker 9: So there's that. We'll get to that.
- 1:05:36Speaker 10: And then I mentioned Abdul El-Sayed narrowly beat Haley Stevens,
- 1:05:42Speaker 10: the Democrat establishment candidate, and will now face off against
- 1:05:46Speaker 10: Mike Rogers in Michigan. Now, Al-Sayed, he got a very
- 1:05:51Speaker 10: small victory. I mean, with over 95% of the results in,
- 1:05:59Speaker 10: he leads by approximately 16,000 votes.
- 1:06:04Speaker 12: Hmm.
- 1:06:07Speaker 9: Very interesting.
- 1:06:09Speaker 10: Stevens also was endorsed by a host of establishment Democrats,
- 1:06:13Speaker 10: including Schmuck Schumer, outgoing Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. But it
- 1:06:20Speaker 10: is amazing that the polls were way wrong with this one.
- 1:06:24Speaker 10: The polls tend to be very wrong in a lot.
- 1:06:26Speaker 9: Of these races, don't they? So we got that. And then,
- 1:06:29Speaker 9: of course, Thandar, the Bulgarian.
- 1:06:32Speaker 10: He's the guy that, oh, he lost his own primary
- 1:06:34Speaker 10: last night against a Democrat socialist, Donovan McKinney. So he's
- 1:06:40Speaker 10: going to be gone. He's the guy that wanted to
- 1:06:41Speaker 10: impeach Trump every five minutes. Oh, I'm going to impeach
- 1:06:45Speaker 10: you again and over and over and over again. Oh
- 1:06:48Speaker 10: my God, have I committed to hate crime by actually
- 1:06:51Speaker 10: trying to accurately imitate Thandar? It's Thandar, Sri Thandar. He's
- 1:06:59Speaker 10: got a great name, but he looks absolutely ridiculous.
- 1:07:03Speaker 9: He looks like a cartoon. He's an old guy. He's
- 1:07:06Speaker 9: an Indian guy.
- 1:07:08Speaker 10: Very dark skin with dark hair.
- 1:07:12Speaker 9: That hair should have some gray in it. By the way, okay.
- 1:07:17Speaker 10: This may offend some of you. I don't mean this
- 1:07:19Speaker 10: to be offensive to the older people in the crowd.
- 1:07:23Speaker 10: It's okay to have a little gray hair as you
- 1:07:24Speaker 10: get older.
- 1:07:25Speaker 9: I'm lucky.
- 1:07:25Speaker 10: Like I said, I'm 58. I have very little gray,
- 1:07:28Speaker 10: a little in my temples, and that's it. So I've
- 1:07:30Speaker 10: been very lucky. Of course, I'm one of those weird redheads.
- 1:07:32Speaker 10: So trust me, I've been made fun of by my
- 1:07:35Speaker 10: hair my entire life. So that's no big deal. But
- 1:07:38Speaker 10: when you're an old guy, like if you're like 70
- 1:07:40Speaker 10: and 80 years old, and you're running around with a.
- 1:07:43Speaker 9: heavy, dark color hair.
- 1:07:46Speaker 10: I mean, and that's what Thandar looks like he's wearing
- 1:07:47Speaker 10: a wig. And it looks so unnatural that it throws
- 1:07:52Speaker 10: people off. When I look at him, my brain starts malfunctioning.
- 1:07:57Speaker 10: It doesn't make sense.
- 1:07:57Speaker 9: He looks weird. Is he wearing a wig? Why is
- 1:08:00Speaker 9: his hair so dark? Why does he look so weird?
- 1:08:03Speaker 10: And then all of a sudden you find yourself, that's
- 1:08:05Speaker 10: what you're concentrating on instead of taking him seriously. And
- 1:08:08Speaker 10: apparently even his own constituency doesn't take him seriously as
- 1:08:13Speaker 10: he got bumped last night by a Democrat socialist, Donovan McKinney.
- 1:08:20Speaker 10: Also who got beat last night was Cori Bush. Former
- 1:08:23Speaker 10: squad member was defeated by Wesley Ball, who has defeated
- 1:08:26Speaker 10: her in the past.
- 1:08:27Speaker 9: So we got that.
- 1:08:29Speaker 10: I wanted to do the Chris X Files. So it's
- 1:08:30Speaker 10: kind of a Chris X Files, even though it's not
- 1:08:32Speaker 10: a Chris X Files, but it's a Chris X Files.
- 1:08:34Speaker 10: So we're going to do the Chris X Files, even
- 1:08:36Speaker 10: though it's kind of not really a Chris X Files.
- 1:08:39Speaker 29: Imagine a place in the darkest corners of your mind.
- 1:08:42Speaker 29: There's a man sitting there with a microphone. His name
- 1:08:46Speaker 29: is Chris X. Now grab your tinfoil hats and take
- 1:08:51Speaker 29: a journey with him into the Chris X Files.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: Chris X Files.
- 1:09:00Speaker 10: Think Bigfoot's real. Actually, I don't, but it's funny because now,
- 1:09:07Speaker 10: you know what? I look at those videos a little
- 1:09:08Speaker 10: closer than I used to. Anyway, from the Chris X files,
- 1:09:12Speaker 10: kinda early this morning, a SpaceX rocket slammed into the moon.
- 1:09:16Speaker 10: It's seven times the speed of sound. Now lunar orbiters
- 1:09:20Speaker 10: are trying to get a look at the aftermath. This morning,
- 1:09:23Speaker 10: about 2.35 a.m., the upper stage of the SpaceX Falcon
- 1:09:27Speaker 10: rocket crashed.
- 1:09:28Speaker 9: Into the moon.
- 1:09:30Speaker 10: So to dissect what happened, scientists are looking for imagery
- 1:09:33Speaker 10: of the crash site. And with help of a couple
- 1:09:35Speaker 10: of moon probes, NASA's Lunar Recognizance Orbiter and NASA's ShadowCam
- 1:09:41Speaker 10: instrument on the Korean Pathfinder Lunar Orbiter will look for
- 1:09:45Speaker 10: opportunities to to capture before and after imagery of the
- 1:09:50Speaker 10: impact site. NASA spokesperson Rob Garner of the NASA Goddard
- 1:09:55Speaker 10: Space Flight Center in Maryland told Space.com, image availability depends
- 1:10:00Speaker 10: on several factors, including the impact location, lighting conditions, and
- 1:10:04Speaker 10: when each spacecraft orbits the next carriers over the area,
- 1:10:09Speaker 10: which may take a few days to receive the imagery.
- 1:10:12Speaker 10: While it's likely seen the first stages of the Falcon
- 1:10:14Speaker 10: 9 rockets, gracefully land back here on Earth for reuse,
- 1:10:21Speaker 10: the rocket's 9,000-pound upper stage is disposable. Typically, it's sent
- 1:10:28Speaker 10: to burn up in our atmosphere when the missions are over. However,
- 1:10:33Speaker 10: that was impossible with this rocket, which launched two private
- 1:10:36Speaker 10: lunar landers, Firefly and Aerospace's Blue Ghost, and Tokyo's.
- 1:10:42Speaker 9: Ice Space's Resilience.
- 1:10:47Speaker 10: To a high moon-crossing Earth orbit for January of 2025.
- 1:10:50Speaker 10: The Falcon 9 upper stage used most of its fuel
- 1:10:53Speaker 10: getting to this distant location and couldn't make it back
- 1:10:56Speaker 10: to de-orbit Earth's atmosphere. So the company performed a different
- 1:11:00Speaker 10: maneuver to take care of the upper stage, Julian Scheinman,
- 1:11:03Speaker 10: director of NASA's Science and Dragon programs at SpaceX, said
- 1:11:07Speaker 10: during a conference on August 3rd. For high energy missions,
- 1:11:11Speaker 10: we need to perform a different maneuver to ensure the
- 1:11:13Speaker 10: second stage itself is safe per the appropriate rules and regulations.
- 1:11:17Speaker 10: So that's what we did here. But the rocket body
- 1:11:20Speaker 10: was still subject to natural forces, which acted on it
- 1:11:23Speaker 10: over time, which what has happened is essentially a mixture
- 1:11:27Speaker 10: of solar activity and gravity forces put it on a
- 1:11:30Speaker 10: path towards the moon. The Falcon 9 upper stage ended
- 1:11:34Speaker 10: up slamming into the moon this morning at about 5,400
- 1:11:37Speaker 10: miles per hour. I think I drive about half that fast.
- 1:11:44Speaker 10: It's likely it blasted out a crater up to about
- 1:11:47Speaker 10: 89 feet wide. This is according to scientist calculations. This
- 1:11:51Speaker 10: was certainly not the original intended outcome for this rocket,
- 1:11:54Speaker 10: but it does present this opportunity for researchers who took
- 1:11:57Speaker 10: advantage of to learn more about the moon and with
- 1:12:00Speaker 10: the impact of craters and various things. I saw video
- 1:12:03Speaker 10: earlier this morning of the rocket hitting, and I don't
- 1:12:06Speaker 10: know if it was professional video.
- 1:12:07Speaker 9: It was clear. It was good.
- 1:12:09Speaker 10: And that rocket was hauling booty. and it was cruising,
- 1:12:13Speaker 10: and it left a huge impact. I mean, you saw
- 1:12:16Speaker 10: the dust go on the moon because it's covered in dust.
- 1:12:20Speaker 10: It's interesting because things don't really explode on the moon
- 1:12:22Speaker 10: like they do here on Earth because there's no atmospheres,
- 1:12:25Speaker 10: there's no oxygen. So it just kind of, just this
- 1:12:28Speaker 10: big puff of smoke, well, wasn't really smoke.
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: It was.
- 1:12:35Speaker 10: It was dust, but it kicked up a huge load
- 1:12:39Speaker 10: of dust, so I can't imagine what that would be
- 1:12:41Speaker 10: like if it hit Earth.
- 1:12:43Speaker 9: That would not be good.
- 1:12:46Speaker 10: Now, we're lucky here on Earth because we have the atmosphere,
- 1:12:49Speaker 10: which takes out a lot of steam out of most
- 1:12:51Speaker 10: of these meteorites and things, comets or whatnot, not really comets,
- 1:12:55Speaker 10: but these crazy things, falling stars as we like to
- 1:12:59Speaker 10: call them, That's why they light up in the atmosphere.
- 1:13:02Speaker 10: Most of them burn up. Very few of them occasionally
- 1:13:05Speaker 10: do make it through and will crash through a house
- 1:13:08Speaker 10: every now and then or go in one hit back
- 1:13:11Speaker 10: in the, was it 1907? That took out in Siberia.
- 1:13:16Speaker 10: I think it was Upper Siberia. I guess a meteorite.
- 1:13:21Speaker 10: hit Upper Siberia and took out over 100,000 acres of forest.
- 1:13:27Speaker 10: Look at some of the old videos of that. Now,
- 1:13:29Speaker 10: this is, well, not videos, old film. And it literally leveled,
- 1:13:34Speaker 10: was it 100,000 acres or 100,000 miles? It was incredible
- 1:13:38Speaker 10: what happened. So we have to be very careful when
- 1:13:42Speaker 10: you're dealing with stuff like this. And usually, I was
- 1:13:43Speaker 10: reading in the article, they usually shoot things, they'll shoot
- 1:13:46Speaker 10: them occasionally directly at the sun because before anything reaches
- 1:13:49Speaker 10: the sun, it burns up.
- 1:13:51Speaker 9: So there was your sort of kind of Chris X-Files today. Anyway,
- 1:13:56Speaker 9: all right, let's go and take a break. We'll come back.
- 1:13:58Speaker 9: We'll get to the phones. We got George out in Tomball. George,
- 1:14:00Speaker 9: hold on. We'll get to your phone calls as well.
- 1:14:03Speaker 9: If you want to weigh in.
- 1:14:05Speaker 10: On Governor Abbott ordering the state regulators to audit the
- 1:14:08Speaker 10: data centers, the pending projects before they can connect to
- 1:14:11Speaker 10: the state's grid.
- 1:14:15Speaker 9: 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738. I'm Chris X. We're just getting rolling here
- 1:14:20Speaker 9: in hour number two. Don't you go anywhere.
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: You're listening to Chris X Radio on The Voice of Texas.

- 1:14:48Speaker 18: Do you need money? Want to lower your monthly debt?
- 1:14:51Speaker 18: Are you thinking about a cash-out refinance? Hi, it's Kathy
- 1:14:55Speaker 18: from Baker Mortgage. A cash-out refinance can get you back
- 1:14:58Speaker 18: in your comfort zone, and that's what it's all about.
- 1:15:01Speaker 18: A recent client who closed with us had his payment
- 1:15:04Speaker 18: go up about $ 300, but his monthly outgo was being
- 1:15:08Speaker 18: reduced by $ 1, 200, so giving him a net positive cash
- 1:15:12Speaker 18: flow of $ 900. It's not about adding debt, but restructuring
- 1:15:16Speaker 18: it in a way that makes sense. And this math
- 1:15:19Speaker 18: totally makes sense. And please don't sweat it if your
- 1:15:22Speaker 18: interest rate is going up a little or if you're
- 1:15:24Speaker 18: extending the term. I can show you by taking a

- 1:17:04Speaker 2: Start your mornings with the Chris Salcedo Show.
- 1:17:06Speaker 9: Let's go to New York, where David is standing by.
- 1:17:08Speaker 4: Hello, David.
- 1:17:08Speaker 9: Welcome to the Salcedo Show. What do you say?
- 1:17:10Speaker 20: I'm going to say Donald Trump was a backstabber, and
- 1:17:12Speaker 20: you never call him out.
- 1:17:13Speaker 9: I'm sorry.
- 1:17:14Speaker 11: I didn't understand what you said.
- 1:17:15Speaker 9: Give me an example of a lie.
- 1:17:16Speaker 23: I don't know.
- 1:17:16Speaker 10: It doesn't matter what.
- 1:17:18Speaker 5: It's just like the folks over there at CNN and
- 1:17:20Speaker 5: at MSNBS.
- 1:17:22Speaker 9: Blind hatred.
- 1:17:23Speaker 20: And one other thing with that jerk from New York, David.
- 1:17:26Speaker 4: That's why I left New York.
- 1:17:27Speaker 20: These guys are real mamaloo.
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: Ah.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: Right?
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: 7 to 9 a.m., Chris X Radio. I guess.
- 1:17:45Speaker 10: You've got to really watch out for those Mama Lukes. Man,
- 1:17:49Speaker 10: that was a term I haven't heard in a long time.
- 1:17:52Speaker 10: The real Mama Luke, you know what I'm saying? That's
- 1:17:54Speaker 10: a New York thing.
- 1:17:55Speaker 9: I guess.
- 1:17:59Speaker 10: Oh, before that, Jay Streck was over at Humble Amco.
- 1:18:02Speaker 10: I'll be going to see Jay on Friday. My truck
- 1:18:04Speaker 10: I mentioned has my 100,000, I'm at like 114,000 miles
- 1:18:09Speaker 10: on it now. And I've never had anything other than
- 1:18:12Speaker 10: the oil changed. And once again, the first time I
- 1:18:15Speaker 10: had the little, the temperature gauge, well, the warning went
- 1:18:19Speaker 10: off and I took it to Jay and he just,
- 1:18:21Speaker 10: they apparently didn't, when they changed my oil, they didn't
- 1:18:23Speaker 10: tighten the thing enough. So I guess some steam was
- 1:18:25Speaker 10: escaping and You just add a little fluid and boom,
- 1:18:28Speaker 10: I was good to go. Haven't had any issues since,
- 1:18:30Speaker 10: but I haven't changed anything. So, and the cracker smoker
- 1:18:35Speaker 10: was emailing me saying, man, your brakes, you need to
- 1:18:36Speaker 10: be careful. Don't be going to nothing, but cake. Cause
- 1:18:40Speaker 10: those cakes are to die for. I was like, oh man,
- 1:18:42Speaker 10: come on, come on. But nonetheless, I think I'm gonna
- 1:18:49Speaker 10: go see him on Friday.
- 1:18:51Speaker 9: One day this week. If not, I'll take you to
- 1:18:52Speaker 9: next week.
- 1:18:53Speaker 10: But to get the 100,000 mile, I guess they do
- 1:18:55Speaker 10: a what is the fluids flush with the probably all
- 1:19:00Speaker 10: brand new radiator fluid and stuff and then also do
- 1:19:04Speaker 10: the fuel system flush.
- 1:19:05Speaker 9: Get that done.
- 1:19:05Speaker 10: Probably new spark plugs. The spark plugs now sound really cool. Man,
- 1:19:12Speaker 10: I was reading about some of the things they offer.
- 1:19:14Speaker 10: I'm like, whoa, okay. Some new spark plugs, and then
- 1:19:17Speaker 10: they'll do the fuel flush or whatever, and I guess
- 1:19:19Speaker 10: check the belts and all.
- 1:19:21Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 1:19:22Speaker 10: They're the professionals, which is why I take my vehicle, too,
- 1:19:25Speaker 10: for its first 100,000-mile service.
- 1:19:27Speaker 9: I remember....
- 1:19:30Speaker 10: The dealer said, Hey, yeah, this was like 75,000 miles.
- 1:19:33Speaker 10: You need to go get the 75,000 mile checkup. And
- 1:19:35Speaker 10: I'm like, well, how much does that run? They're like
- 1:19:37Speaker 10: about $ 1, 500. I went, um, how about new? And I
- 1:19:43Speaker 10: talked to Jay and he was like, that is insane.
- 1:19:45Speaker 10: I was like, so how much is this going to cost?
- 1:19:48Speaker 10: He's like, not anywhere near a thousand dollars. I was like, okay, well, good.
- 1:19:51Speaker 10: Then I'm good with that. So I'll go take that
- 1:19:54Speaker 10: and get it done. Make sure my truck, cause it's
- 1:19:56Speaker 10: been running great. So I want to keep it running great.
- 1:19:59Speaker 10: At a certain point, I know I'm going to have
- 1:20:00Speaker 10: to replace the brakes on it, but they haven't started
- 1:20:03Speaker 10: squeaking or anything.
- 1:20:05Speaker 9: So they've been good. And usually, I mean, that's the sign.
- 1:20:08Speaker 9: My brakes are good.
- 1:20:10Speaker 10: Haven't had any issues. They still stop my truck just fine.
- 1:20:12Speaker 10: There's no grinding or squeaking or noise or anything. So
- 1:20:17Speaker 10: we'll see how I get that taken care of. Anyway,
- 1:20:19Speaker 10: welcome back to Chris X Radio. Glad to have you
- 1:20:21Speaker 10: with us. 281-558-KSEV if you want to join us.
- 1:20:25Speaker 3: 281-558-5738.
- 1:20:25Speaker 10: Let's go to the phones. Pick up with George, who's
- 1:20:29Speaker 10: been patiently holding in Tomball. George, thank you for hanging on.
- 1:20:31Speaker 10: Welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 1:20:34Speaker 20: Thank you, Chris. I would imagine the next thing that's
- 1:20:38Speaker 20: going to happen with Donald Trump is they're going to
- 1:20:40Speaker 20: try to impeach him for our unprovoked attack on the
- 1:20:45Speaker 20: Nazis on the moon. Because didn't you just say that
- 1:20:48Speaker 20: we launched a missile at the moon to attack the Nazis?
- 1:20:53Speaker 10: Well, it wasn't a missile. It was a rocket, but
- 1:20:56Speaker 10: I didn't mention the Nazi part. I forgot about that.
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:20:59Speaker 20: Yeah, I mean, there are Nazis on the moon. I mean,
- 1:21:01Speaker 20: I saw. Isn't there two documentaries about that?
- 1:21:06Speaker 10: They're from the historical archives, I do believe.
- 1:21:08Speaker 20: Yeah, the historical, like the Martian, you know what I'm saying?
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:21:14Speaker 20: So it's crazy.
- 1:21:15Speaker 9: I guess.
- 1:21:16Speaker 20: No.
- 1:21:17Speaker 10: You know what's funny is as much of a joke
- 1:21:19Speaker 10: as you're making, it wouldn't surprise me if Democrats tried
- 1:21:21Speaker 10: to impeach him over that, even though he didn't do it.
- 1:21:24Speaker 10: It was SpaceX and they got permission to do it,
- 1:21:26Speaker 10: I guess. Got permission from Trump. So therefore, that is
- 1:21:31Speaker 10: about how ludicrous their impeachment efforts are these days.
- 1:21:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:21:36Speaker 20: It's crazy.
- 1:21:37Speaker 9: All right, Chris.
- 1:21:38Speaker 20: That's my comment.
- 1:21:40Speaker 9: That's a good one.
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:21:42Speaker 10: So, yeah, I forgot about the Nazis on the Mars,
- 1:21:44Speaker 10: on the Mars, on the moon and maybe Mars, too.
- 1:21:48Speaker 9: I think there's a few old movies. I think there's
- 1:21:50Speaker 9: one Nazis on the moon. You got to watch out
- 1:21:53Speaker 9: for those moon Nazis, man. They're worse.
- 1:21:55Speaker 10: They're way worse than the freedom Nazi like Elon Musk.
- 1:22:00Speaker 10: Remember they tried to convince everybody that Elon Musk was
- 1:22:02Speaker 10: a Nazi because he did the hand.
- 1:22:05Speaker 9: Salute or whatever?
- 1:22:06Speaker 10: And then they went and pulled out every single Democrat
- 1:22:08Speaker 10: at every single public event for every single thing in
- 1:22:12Speaker 10: the last, I don't know, 50 years. And they all
- 1:22:14Speaker 10: did the exact same motion. But somehow none of them
- 1:22:17Speaker 10: were called a Nazi. But Elon Musk was. He was
- 1:22:19Speaker 10: a Nazi because he was, of course, doing Doge and
- 1:22:21Speaker 10: taking away their slush fund.
- 1:22:28Speaker 9: But I think there's a movie, Nazis on the Moon.
- 1:22:30Speaker 10: And then I made a not-so-veiled reference to, what was
- 1:22:35Speaker 10: it called? Galaxy Quest, if you've seen that movie. It's
- 1:22:41Speaker 10: basically a Star Trek television series. That's what the movie's
- 1:22:46Speaker 10: based on. And Tim Allen, I guess, plays the Captain
- 1:22:49Speaker 10: Kirk sort of character, and Sigourney Weaver's in it. It's
- 1:22:52Speaker 10: Sam Rockwell, who's great.
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: And, uh.
- 1:22:56Speaker 10: They're on a television series, and at a certain point,
- 1:22:59Speaker 10: actual aliens come to Earth and want to incorporate. They
- 1:23:02Speaker 10: think they're the real people they portray in the television series,
- 1:23:06Speaker 10: and they're always doing intergalactic saving planets and things because
- 1:23:12Speaker 10: they're being attacked by another alien species, and they end
- 1:23:15Speaker 10: up getting thrown into it. And at a certain point,
- 1:23:18Speaker 10: they're like, hey, don't you know it was just a
- 1:23:20Speaker 10: TV show?
- 1:23:20Speaker 9: And they go, oh, you're referring to the historical archives?
- 1:23:25Speaker 10: They thought they were watching historical archives when they were
- 1:23:28Speaker 10: watching television. They didn't realize they have no real sense
- 1:23:31Speaker 10: of humor and no understanding. It was an alien race
- 1:23:34Speaker 10: that doesn't lie. They'd never lied. They would have never
- 1:23:38Speaker 10: imagined something like this. And that's why they were getting
- 1:23:41Speaker 10: beat up so badly by the terrible monster.
- 1:23:44Speaker 9: I think his name was Thandar. No, no, it wasn't Thandar.
- 1:23:47Speaker 9: It was something different.
- 1:23:48Speaker 10: But the horrible alien who was trying to exterminate them
- 1:23:51Speaker 10: and take over their planet, But Tim Allen is hilarious.
- 1:23:55Speaker 10: Sam Rockwell is hysterical. In the show, he doesn't even
- 1:23:59Speaker 10: have a name. He doesn't have a last name on
- 1:24:01Speaker 10: the show. So he had to get one. Sigourney Weaver,
- 1:24:04Speaker 10: they made her a blonde, which was kind of weird
- 1:24:06Speaker 10: and tried to sex pot her up a little bit.
- 1:24:08Speaker 9: And then there was the guy that was in... Oh,
- 1:24:12Speaker 9: what was the series? He was in a few different series.
- 1:24:18Speaker 9: I do believe... You know what?
- 1:24:21Speaker 10: I guess I have to look this up because I'm
- 1:24:23Speaker 10: dying right now. He's a I think he's a total
- 1:24:26Speaker 10: liberal idiot, but he's hilarious in the movie because. The aliens,
- 1:24:36Speaker 10: they make themselves look like humans, but they're not. They're
- 1:24:39Speaker 10: actually like squid, sort of octopus-looking things. And the character
- 1:24:44Speaker 10: that I'm referring to, he falls in love with one
- 1:24:46Speaker 10: of them, which is hilarious.
- 1:24:49Speaker 9: Tony Shalhoub, that's who I was thinking of.
- 1:24:52Speaker 10: But it features, once again, Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Alan Rickman,
- 1:24:56Speaker 10: Tony Shalhoub, Sam Rockwell.
- 1:24:58Speaker 9: Who else is in it? Also a very young.
- 1:25:03Speaker 9: Oh, what's that actor's name?
- 1:25:04Speaker 10: Hold on, I went to the top cast.
- 1:25:09Speaker 9: I should probably go to full cast. Oh, there we go,
- 1:25:10Speaker 9: full cast and crew. Justin Long. That guy, you know
- 1:25:16Speaker 9: who that guy is.
- 1:25:18Speaker 10: He's the guy that was funny. He told stories that
- 1:25:19Speaker 10: everybody thinks I'm like a part Asian, and he's not.
- 1:25:22Speaker 10: I think he's just Greek or whatever. That's like the
- 1:25:25Speaker 10: guy who played in Saving Silverman, the guy who played Silverman,
- 1:25:28Speaker 10: who was in American Pie.
- 1:25:30Speaker 9: Can't remember that actor's.
- 1:25:31Speaker 10: Name, but he always plays these, you know, Jewish characters
- 1:25:36Speaker 10: and he's not Jewish, he's Greek. So, oh, Rainn Wilson
- 1:25:40Speaker 10: is in it. I forgot about him. He's one of the,
- 1:25:42Speaker 10: he's Lonick or Lonk. But it was great how they
- 1:25:47Speaker 10: did the play off of the, you know, the nerd
- 1:25:50Speaker 10: cons and all of that stuff with the Star Trek.
- 1:25:53Speaker 10: And of course, Tim Allen was the Captain Kirk sort
- 1:25:56Speaker 10: of character. It's a very entertaining movie if you haven't
- 1:25:59Speaker 10: seen it. But Tony Shalhoub, he was in a couple
- 1:26:01Speaker 10: of different series. I guess I should go look up. Okay,
- 1:26:04Speaker 10: before we break, even though I know I'm a little over,
- 1:26:06Speaker 10: I'm going to go pull up Tony Shalhoub because he's
- 1:26:09Speaker 10: been in a few things.
- 1:26:10Speaker 9: There were a while back, I know he was in
- 1:26:13Speaker 9: a series called, what was it?
- 1:26:15Speaker 20: Monk.
- 1:26:17Speaker 10: But he was in another series before that where he
- 1:26:19Speaker 10: played a peripheral character. And I remember him from that one.
- 1:26:23Speaker 10: Let's see if I can find that one. I don't
- 1:26:24Speaker 10: see it.
- 1:26:27Speaker 9: Oh, it's way back.
- 1:26:27Speaker 10: Okay, so I have to keep going looking. Hey, he's
- 1:26:30Speaker 10: actually been in a lot of stuff. I didn't realize
- 1:26:33Speaker 10: Tony Shalhoub has been in so many things. He was
- 1:26:37Speaker 10: in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
- 1:26:41Speaker 9: Okay.
- 1:26:42Speaker 10: Oh, he was in Men in Black 3. He's pretty
- 1:26:44Speaker 10: funny in that. And I think he's a total lib idiot.
- 1:26:48Speaker 10: But he was in Monk. That was a big series
- 1:26:50Speaker 10: back from 2002 to 2009. So he had a good
- 1:26:51Speaker 10: run with that. And then Free Radio?
- 1:26:56Speaker 9: Don't know that one. Is there anything else? I'm looking.
- 1:27:01Speaker 10: He was in some other series. Oh, he's in Men
- 1:27:03Speaker 10: in Black 2 as well.
- 1:27:04Speaker 9: Okay. Spy Kids, he was in that. Okay. And then
- 1:27:10Speaker 9: I can't see.
- 1:27:11Speaker 10: The other one. I guess I could probably sit here
- 1:27:12Speaker 10: all day. Oh, he's in Fallout, the video game. He's
- 1:27:15Speaker 10: one of the voice people. He was in Frasier.
- 1:27:18Speaker 9: Okay, that was it. And Wings.
- 1:27:19Speaker 10: Okay.
- 1:27:20Speaker 9: I remember him from Wings. He was in 144 episodes.
- 1:27:23Speaker 10: Wings was an entertaining show, and I loved Frasier. Frasier
- 1:27:27Speaker 10: is a guy, of course, Kelsey Grammer, a guy with
- 1:27:30Speaker 10: an amazing radio voice.
- 1:27:32Speaker 9: He played a.
- 1:27:33Speaker 10: Psychiatrist who hosted a radio show, and Frasier was great,
- 1:27:38Speaker 10: which was a spinoff of Cheers. But Kelsey Grammer, good conservative, too.
- 1:27:44Speaker 10: He just had that amazing, fantastic, perfect radio voice. I
- 1:27:49Speaker 10: could only dream of sounding like Frasier. I sound nothing
- 1:27:53Speaker 10: like Frasier. The only thing I have in common is
- 1:27:56Speaker 10: we're both conservatives. I guess I'll leave it at that.
- 1:27:59Speaker 10: Which I don't think Tony Shalhoub is, but he's hilarious
- 1:28:02Speaker 10: in Galaxy Quest. He was hilarious on Wings. And he
- 1:28:05Speaker 10: even showed up in, I guess some other stuff. But
- 1:28:07Speaker 10: he's done a bunch of stuff. But he is hysterical.
- 1:28:11Speaker 10: He plays the Sulu type character.
- 1:28:13Speaker 9: Is it Sulu?
- 1:28:15Speaker 3: Or.
- 1:28:17Speaker 9: I can't remember.
- 1:28:18Speaker 10: I'm not a big Trekkie. uh so but i do
- 1:28:22Speaker 10: like captain kirk i think he's a good dude of
- 1:28:24Speaker 10: course william shatner who's what is he 99 the dude's
- 1:28:28Speaker 10: 100 it's amazing he looks amazing and he's doing a
- 1:28:32Speaker 10: tour i saw he's coming to town and he's playing
- 1:28:34Speaker 10: like in a metal band or something i don't think
- 1:28:37Speaker 10: he actually plays in the band i think he just
- 1:28:38Speaker 10: sits there and talks over metal music or something but
- 1:28:42Speaker 10: like wait what so Captain Kirk William Shatner who is
- 1:28:46Speaker 10: sort of kind of conservative but not really but he
- 1:28:49Speaker 10: seems like a really good dude he's about a hundred
- 1:28:52Speaker 10: can't believe he's almost a hundred okay let's take a
- 1:28:55Speaker 10: break thank you for the call I appreciate it George
- 1:28:57Speaker 10: see what you spark George You made me mention the
- 1:29:00Speaker 10: historical archives, and then I had to tell everybody everything
- 1:29:03Speaker 10: about Galaxy Quest, which everyone had to know because that
- 1:29:07Speaker 10: was the most important thing instead of getting to Governor
- 1:29:10Speaker 10: Abbott and regulating the data.
- 1:29:13Speaker 9: Centers here in Texas. 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738. We'll be right back
- 1:29:17Speaker 9: with more Frasier.
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: Elections have consequences. So does your radio dial. Don't touch it.
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: Chris X Radio returns after this.
- 1:29:35Speaker 30: After a hard rain, you can see them. The water
- 1:29:38Speaker 30: stains on the ceiling are the dripping water from a
- 1:29:40Speaker 30: recessed light. Now you start to get nervous because you
- 1:29:44Speaker 30: know leaks can cause big problems.
- 1:29:47Speaker 23: Once the water enters the structure, the trouble starts. Water
- 1:29:50Speaker 23: weakens rafters and beams over time. It soaks through drywall
- 1:29:54Speaker 23: and damages the insulation.
- 1:29:55Speaker 11: In your home.
- 1:29:56Speaker 30: And Roland, don't forget about mold. It grows fast in
- 1:29:59Speaker 30: our humidity and causes all kinds of health problems.
- 1:30:03Speaker 23: I'd really hate to see you spend thousands on expensive
- 1:30:05Speaker 23: structural or drywall repairs or mold removal projects, especially when
- 1:30:10Speaker 23: we can fix those leaks quickly at Tejas Roofing.
- 1:30:13Speaker 30: And most of our leak repairs are under $ 500. This

- 1:32:25Speaker 4: Looking ahead to Friday, it will be sunny to partly
- 1:32:28Speaker 4: cloudy with a chance of a thunderstorm in some areas
- 1:32:30Speaker 4: in the afternoon and a high of 94. With the
- 1:32:33Speaker 4: KSCV Weather Center forecast, I'm AccuWeather meteorologist Jason Catarina.
- 1:32:44Speaker 2: You can't stop him. You can only hope to contain him.
- 1:32:48Speaker 2: Chris X Radio.
- 1:32:58Speaker 9: Uncle Ted, you can't go wrong with Uncle Ted. Democrats
- 1:33:03Speaker 9: probably hate him.
- 1:33:04Speaker 14: Amazing.
- 1:33:05Speaker 10: Someone hadn't tried to assassinate him.
- 1:33:06Speaker 9: Of course, that would be a big mistake. Uncle Ted
- 1:33:10Speaker 9: is pretty darn good.
- 1:33:11Speaker 10: Not only with a firearm, with a rifle, but he's
- 1:33:14Speaker 10: unbelievably good with a bow and arrow. I told you
- 1:33:18Speaker 10: I saw the damn Yankees back in the nineties. And
- 1:33:21Speaker 10: at the end to some point during the concert, uh,
- 1:33:25Speaker 10: A big, I guess, picture of Saddam Hussein came up
- 1:33:31Speaker 10: in the background on the back of the stage. And
- 1:33:34Speaker 10: the damn Yankees was Ted Nugent and was it Jack Blades,
- 1:33:39Speaker 10: a guy from Styx, Tommy Shaw, and then some drummer
- 1:33:43Speaker 10: who was ripped and nobody knew.
- 1:33:44Speaker 9: And they jammed and were great. They were actually very entertaining.
- 1:33:47Speaker 10: But at some point during the concert, Ted Nugent ran
- 1:33:52Speaker 10: to the back of the summit.
- 1:33:53Speaker 9: This is back before it was the church.
- 1:33:56Speaker 10: Ran all the way to the, it was like the
- 1:33:57Speaker 10: lower prom, the very back of the floor area, and
- 1:34:00Speaker 10: had his bow and arrow with him and fired his
- 1:34:03Speaker 10: bow and arrow completely across the summit and hit Saddam
- 1:34:06Speaker 10: Hussein between the eyes with it. The mural, I guess
- 1:34:10Speaker 10: you will, of Saddam Hussein that came up. And it was,
- 1:34:13Speaker 10: once again, that was in the 90s. And it was just,
- 1:34:16Speaker 10: you realize, this dude literally just shot, I don't know
- 1:34:21Speaker 10: how many yards that was, but he shot the bow
- 1:34:24Speaker 10: and arrow and it was, I think it was compound bow.
- 1:34:28Speaker 10: And you look at that, there's so many liabilities there.
- 1:34:31Speaker 10: But it was up high, so obviously he wasn't shooting low. But,
- 1:34:34Speaker 10: I mean, if something was to happen. But he does
- 1:34:37Speaker 10: not suffer from confidence or lack thereof confidence whatsoever.
- 1:34:42Speaker 9: But that was a great concert. He got a great guitar.
- 1:34:44Speaker 10: Basically, Ted Nugent walked around and soloed, played solos for
- 1:34:48Speaker 10: about two hours, and then shot Saddam Hussein between the
- 1:34:51Speaker 10: eyes with a bow and arrow. That sounds like a
- 1:34:53Speaker 10: typical Saturday night for Ted Nugent. Anyway, welcome back to
- 1:34:57Speaker 10: Chris X Radio. I'm the aforementioned X-Man. We got this
- 1:35:01Speaker 10: segment and one more remaining, so if you want to
- 1:35:03Speaker 10: get in, you better do so quickly.
- 1:35:06Speaker 9: 281-558-KSCV. 281-558-5738.
- 1:35:09Speaker 10: I hope you enjoyed our little run down the rabbit
- 1:35:16Speaker 10: hole of Galaxy Quest and then, of course, Tony Shalhoub.
- 1:35:19Speaker 9: Couldn't remember the guy's name. But I, once again, went down,
- 1:35:25Speaker 9: he was on Wings.
- 1:35:26Speaker 10: Wings was one of those odd shows with the two
- 1:35:29Speaker 10: guys that looked alike and played brothers, but they weren't
- 1:35:31Speaker 10: actually brothers. They looked very similar. And there's a Houston
- 1:35:36Speaker 10: tie to Wings. Her name was Crystal Bernard.
- 1:35:41Speaker 9: You remember her? She was like the main chick.
- 1:35:44Speaker 10: She was a waitress, I guess, that had went to
- 1:35:46Speaker 10: this place up in New England there.
- 1:35:48Speaker 9: She was from Houston.
- 1:35:49Speaker 10: In fact, I worked with a guy that dated her,
- 1:35:51Speaker 10: showed me pictures of them. regular pictures family pictures but
- 1:35:57Speaker 10: he dated her and talked about well and she had
- 1:36:00Speaker 10: another sister that was an actress as well but he
- 1:36:03Speaker 10: dated Crystal Bernard from Houston Texas I can't remember where
- 1:36:08Speaker 10: she went to high school but he and I was
- 1:36:10Speaker 10: like what and this is back it was the late
- 1:36:13Speaker 10: 90s when I was working at CBS radio at the
- 1:36:14Speaker 10: time and I won't say the guy's name but if
- 1:36:17Speaker 10: he's listening I remember that story.
- 1:36:21Speaker 9: And he showed us the.
- 1:36:22Speaker 10: Picture And I was like, oh, because she's, Crystal Bernard
- 1:36:25Speaker 10: is pretty good looking. She did a few movies and
- 1:36:27Speaker 10: did some series work. And then I don't know what happened,
- 1:36:30Speaker 10: but I think she had a sister that was an
- 1:36:32Speaker 10: actress as well.
- 1:36:33Speaker 9: All right, enough of that. All right, let's get to
- 1:36:35Speaker 9: Governor Abbott.
- 1:36:35Speaker 10: Sorry, I could talk about, once again, I am a wealth,
- 1:36:39Speaker 10: a veritable wealth of useless information. If I could somehow
- 1:36:42Speaker 10: get paid for all the dumb stuff that I know, man,
- 1:36:45Speaker 10: I'd be a rich man. But I know tons of
- 1:36:50Speaker 10: dumb stuff that you don't get paid for. People who
- 1:36:52Speaker 10: get paid are people, smart people like Ben Struzan. That
- 1:36:55Speaker 10: guy knows how to get paid because he's very smart.
- 1:36:57Speaker 10: And he knows money. He knows how to manage it, apparently.
- 1:37:03Speaker 10: I think if he was a really cool guy, he'd
- 1:37:04Speaker 10: just get a big bunch of money and then manage
- 1:37:06Speaker 10: it for me and then not tell me and then
- 1:37:08Speaker 10: just give it to me because he's just a nice
- 1:37:11Speaker 10: guy like that. I hope he's listening right now. All right,
- 1:37:16Speaker 10: let's get back to it. 281-558-KSEV if you want to
- 1:37:18Speaker 10: join us. So Governor Abbott has ordered the state regulators
- 1:37:21Speaker 10: to audit the pending data center projects before they're connecting
- 1:37:25Speaker 10: to the state's grid. Now, ERCOT says that effectively halts
- 1:37:31Speaker 10: these projects. On Monday, Governor Abbott directed the Public Utility
- 1:37:36Speaker 10: Commission of Texas, PUCT, and ERCOT, the Electric Reliability Council
- 1:37:41Speaker 10: of Texas, to review pending data center projects and deny
- 1:37:45Speaker 10: grid connection requests for facilities that fail to meet state requirements.
- 1:37:52Speaker 10: ERCOT told Fox News Digital that the governor's directive effectively
- 1:37:56Speaker 10: pauses all data center projects. ERCOT is reviewing Governor Abbott's
- 1:38:00Speaker 10: letter concerning data centers and will work with the Public
- 1:38:03Speaker 10: Utility Commission of Texas to implement the governor's directive, including
- 1:38:07Speaker 10: postponement of the batch zero transmission planning study. The grid
- 1:38:12Speaker 10: operator said in a statement, the move comes as Texas
- 1:38:16Speaker 10: sees a surge of demand of artificial intelligence and cloud
- 1:38:20Speaker 10: computing facilities. That's what all these data centers are. ERCOT
- 1:38:24Speaker 10: told Fox News Digital that about 90 of the 474
- 1:38:29Speaker 10: gigawatts of projected large load interconnection requests currently under review
- 1:38:34Speaker 10: are from data centers.
- 1:38:39Speaker 9: 474 gigawatts. Is it gigawatts or gigawatts? I think it's gigawatts.
- 1:38:45Speaker 10: More than five times the state's peak electricity demand okay
- 1:38:51Speaker 10: that could be a problem quote our top priority is
- 1:38:55Speaker 10: to protect texans safety and quality of life governor abbott
- 1:38:58Speaker 10: said in a statement according to axios texans must come
- 1:39:02Speaker 10: first As part of the review, Governor Abbott directed regulators
- 1:39:06Speaker 10: to gather additional information from companies seeking grid connections, including
- 1:39:10Speaker 10: whether facilities plan to generate some of their own electricity,
- 1:39:14Speaker 10: as well as their project annual and peak electricity demand,
- 1:39:18Speaker 10: water consumption, and water sources.
- 1:39:21Speaker 9: They use a lot of water, too.
- 1:39:23Speaker 10: The directive follows Abbott's recent push to tighten oversight of
- 1:39:27Speaker 10: this rapidly expanding data center industry. Last week, he said
- 1:39:30Speaker 10: that AI data centers looking to build in Texas should
- 1:39:33Speaker 10: bring their own power. In other words, they have to
- 1:39:36Speaker 10: basically do their own power generation, reuse their own water
- 1:39:41Speaker 10: and lower electricity costs for residents. I think that is
- 1:39:45Speaker 10: exactly the right approach that Governor Abbott has. Yes, I
- 1:39:50Speaker 10: want to stay on top of this. I want to
- 1:39:52Speaker 10: be the world leader as far as data centers and
- 1:39:54Speaker 10: things like this. But I want them doing their own
- 1:39:57Speaker 10: power so they're not a drain on our grid at all.
- 1:40:00Speaker 9: In fact, I want them to do the.
- 1:40:02Speaker 10: Power so any excess power goes to our grid so
- 1:40:05Speaker 10: it helps fortify the grid instead of weakening it. I
- 1:40:09Speaker 10: think that would be absolutely a perfect– once again, these
- 1:40:12Speaker 10: are multibillion-dollar places, right? They spend a whole lot of money.
- 1:40:18Speaker 10: They should be able to generate their own power. It
- 1:40:22Speaker 10: may cost a little more, but they're getting incentives and
- 1:40:25Speaker 10: things like that. They can use those incentives to generate
- 1:40:28Speaker 10: their own power and go that route. Like I said,
- 1:40:32Speaker 10: we've been good this year. So far, we're here in August.
- 1:40:34Speaker 10: It dropped to 98 degrees, it looks like. Finally cooling down.
- 1:40:39Speaker 10: It's still hot, man. We're in the dog days of August.
- 1:40:42Speaker 10: These are the early dog days of August.
- 1:40:45Speaker 9: My Lord.
- 1:40:47Speaker 10: So we're just hitting the hundreds, which is what we
- 1:40:49Speaker 10: hit earlier this week. And I don't know if we
- 1:40:52Speaker 10: got over, I think we got over a hundred again today,
- 1:40:53Speaker 10: at least on my part of town, but it's very
- 1:40:56Speaker 10: hot and it's going to stay that way until about September.
- 1:40:59Speaker 9: And then it should cool down a little bit.
- 1:41:01Speaker 10: And then October cools down a little bit more, but
- 1:41:03Speaker 10: it's still hot. And then usually about November, we'll get
- 1:41:07Speaker 10: a cold snap. So we'll, we'll take it from there.
- 1:41:12Speaker 10: But man, that's once again, I love the meme. The
- 1:41:15Speaker 10: sun looking at the earth going, man, Texas sure is
- 1:41:17Speaker 10: pretty this time of year. Let's take a closer look.
- 1:41:21Speaker 10: And it gets hot.
- 1:41:23Speaker 9: And it really does.
- 1:41:25Speaker 10: And we're also talking about things heating up as we
- 1:41:27Speaker 10: gear up for these primaries that are wrapping up in
- 1:41:30Speaker 10: Michigan and Some of these other places, these blue areas,
- 1:41:34Speaker 10: and they're starting to elect these crazy radicals. Some less
- 1:41:39Speaker 10: radical than others, but there's a whole internal war going
- 1:41:43Speaker 10: on in the Democrat Party between the establishment and these
- 1:41:47Speaker 10: new Abdul El-Sayed. Shri Thandar getting dumped by Donovan McKinney,
- 1:41:55Speaker 10: a Democrat socialist. Wesley Ball defeating Cori Bush. These people
- 1:42:01Speaker 10: that have been in power, they're getting smoked. And it's good.
- 1:42:05Speaker 10: I love to see the squad member losing, but is
- 1:42:08Speaker 10: the guy we're getting any better?
- 1:42:09Speaker 9: Well, no, not necessarily.
- 1:42:12Speaker 10: But to see Cori Bush, one of the squad members,
- 1:42:14Speaker 10: get thumped by Wesley Ball 68.9% of the vote versus 27.2%.
- 1:42:20Speaker 10: That is a thumping. That's not even close. All right,
- 1:42:27Speaker 10: let's go ahead and take a break. You're listening to
- 1:42:28Speaker 10: Chris X Radio. We'll come back, wrap up today's show.

- 1:45:58Speaker 22: Saturday morning at 9 a.m., right here on The Voice.
- 1:46:04Speaker 2: And now, back to Chris X Radio on The Voice
- 1:46:07Speaker 2: of Texas.
- 1:46:21Speaker 9: The Trumps were close to a deal in Iran, so
- 1:46:24Speaker 9: I haven't heard that one before. By the way, just
- 1:46:28Speaker 9: in here in the last hour, the U.S.
- 1:46:29Speaker 10: Senate has advanced 74 Trump nominees in one fell swoop.
- 1:46:35Speaker 10: 50-44 filed by Majority Leader John Thune. The in-block nominations
- 1:46:40Speaker 10: are on track to be fully approved next. That includes
- 1:46:42Speaker 10: four U.S.
- 1:46:43Speaker 9: Attorneys, four U.S. Marshals, FEMA, TSA, and more.
- 1:46:47Speaker 10: If the Senate GOP put this kind of energy into
- 1:46:50Speaker 10: the Save America Act, imagine how well we could do
- 1:46:53Speaker 10: in the midterms.
- 1:46:56Speaker 4: Oh, man.
- 1:46:58Speaker 9: That would be a good idea, wouldn't it?
- 1:46:59Speaker 10: It sure seems that way. Anyway, welcome back to Chris
- 1:47:03Speaker 10: X Radio. We're wrapping up the program. This is the
- 1:47:06Speaker 10: final segment. If you want to get in, you have
- 1:47:07Speaker 10: to hurry.
- 1:47:08Speaker 9: 281-558-KSCV.
- 1:47:12Speaker 19: 281-558-5738.
- 1:47:13Speaker 10: We'll wrap things up here at 6, and we'll be
- 1:47:15Speaker 10: back tomorrow for our Friday show on Thursday.
- 1:47:17Speaker 9: That's where we have a little fun.
- 1:47:19Speaker 10: We bring in Rebecca Black, Leo Moriciolo. Do a little Friday, Friday,
- 1:47:25Speaker 10: Friday for you because we do our Friday show on Thursday.
- 1:47:28Speaker 10: You ask, Chris X, why do you do a Friday
- 1:47:31Speaker 10: show on Thursday? Simple arithmetic, my friend, my Watson. Clearly
- 1:47:41Speaker 10: my movie and television only.
- 1:47:44Speaker 9: Goes so far. So clearly arithmetic.
- 1:47:48Speaker 10: This is the Amigos takeover on Fridays from 4 to 6.
- 1:47:51Speaker 10: They've been on for about 25 years. That would be
- 1:47:54Speaker 10: El Senador Paul Betancourt along with the judge and then
- 1:47:57Speaker 10: Strew with the view bat and cleanup. He brings his
- 1:48:00Speaker 10: big old Lucille with him. proverbially, figuratively puts it upside
- 1:48:06Speaker 10: the head of the judge, tries to knock some sense
- 1:48:09Speaker 10: into him. He's failed miserably for 20 years. So, plus, just, yeah,
- 1:48:14Speaker 10: he makes sense, tries to, I, the judge, he doesn't budge.
- 1:48:19Speaker 10: Judge is busy worried about his jukebox. I may have
- 1:48:22Speaker 10: stolen that from someone.
- 1:48:24Speaker 3: Hmm.
- 1:48:25Speaker 10: Judge's jukebox. That's what he should call his segment. Hey judge,
- 1:48:28Speaker 10: if you're listening, the judge does not listen. His segment
- 1:48:33Speaker 10: where he plays all the music should be called the
- 1:48:34Speaker 10: judge's jukebox. Someone said that I could give them credit.
- 1:48:39Speaker 10: But I don't think I will, Lucas.
- 1:48:40Speaker 9: I'm not going to give the person who said that,
- 1:48:41Speaker 9: I'm not going to give them credit. Because it's a
- 1:48:44Speaker 9: good idea.
- 1:48:44Speaker 10: But anyway, so the judge does his music. That's all
- 1:48:48Speaker 10: he cares about, that and chicks. Looking, he's been married, what,
- 1:48:51Speaker 10: three times? He's always on the lookout for the next.
- 1:48:56Speaker 9: Ex-wife.
- 1:48:58Speaker 20: So.
- 1:48:59Speaker 9: There you have it.
- 1:49:00Speaker 10: And of course, like I said, it's true of the view.
- 1:49:01Speaker 10: They take over tomorrow from 4 to 6. I'm sorry,
- 1:49:04Speaker 10: on Fridays from 4 to 6, which means tomorrow we'll
- 1:49:06Speaker 10: do our Friday show on Thursday because two objects cannot
- 1:49:10Speaker 10: exist in the same space. Anyone who knows anything about, well,
- 1:49:15Speaker 10: you know, physics. And I'm clearly a physics master. Well,
- 1:49:22Speaker 10: we manipulate the time space, continue to move our Friday
- 1:49:24Speaker 10: to Thursday so we get a jump start on the
- 1:49:26Speaker 10: weekend 24 hours ahead of everybody else. So we'll be
- 1:49:28Speaker 10: doing that tomorrow from 4 to 6 and make a
- 1:49:30Speaker 10: point to tune in every Thursday for our Friday show
- 1:49:33Speaker 10: and then every Friday for the Amigos. If you're not
- 1:49:37Speaker 10: confused enough, well, then we'll tell you about Susan Collins,
- 1:49:40Speaker 10: a Republican in Maine, has announced that she's going to
- 1:49:43Speaker 10: vote against President Trump's nomination of Todd Blanch to serve
- 1:49:46Speaker 10: as Attorney General. Now, this leaves very little wiggle room
- 1:49:52Speaker 10: for any additional Republican defections. Collins is the first Senate
- 1:49:57Speaker 10: Republican to publicly oppose Blanche's nomination, said in a statement
- 1:50:01Speaker 10: that while Blanche is a capable lawyer, she believes the
- 1:50:04Speaker 10: Department of Justice under his leadership has become increasingly political
- 1:50:09Speaker 10: because it wasn't political at all with the Biden administration,
- 1:50:12Speaker 10: was it, Susan? Remember that Biden administration where they made
- 1:50:16Speaker 10: up Russia collusion? And then you got James Comey, Mr. 8647,
- 1:50:20Speaker 10: who was plotting against the president and lying to the
- 1:50:23Speaker 10: president and multiple serious actors. We have now learned we're working,
- 1:50:27Speaker 10: withholding information from the president, all kinds of stuff that
- 1:50:31Speaker 10: we're going.
- 1:50:31Speaker 9: But it wasn't. OK. Sorry, I guess she can only
- 1:50:35Speaker 9: think back so far.
- 1:50:38Speaker 10: Now, Blanche can only afford one more Republican no if
- 1:50:42Speaker 10: every Senate Democrat opposes his confirmation. The Hill reported that
- 1:50:46Speaker 10: Senate Majority Leader John Thune currently has what is a
- 1:50:49Speaker 10: 52 seat Republican majority because Senator Mitch McConnell.
- 1:50:54Speaker 9: Can we change him to where's Mitch? What is it?
- 1:50:57Speaker 9: Where's Waldo?
- 1:50:58Speaker 10: Mitch Waldo McConnell remains absent while recovering from a serious
- 1:51:02Speaker 10: health issue, which was a heart issue. And he's still
- 1:51:06Speaker 10: in the hospital, but has anyone heard from him?
- 1:51:09Speaker 9: Really? Anyone at all?
- 1:51:12Speaker 10: Collins said several actions by the Justice Department under Blanche
- 1:51:15Speaker 10: had further eroded the department's independence.
- 1:51:18Speaker 9: Once again, did she pay attention to the previous four years?
- 1:51:21Speaker 9: She was there. She was serving in Congress and Senate.
- 1:51:31Speaker 10: The Hill reported to Collins or Collins cited Blanche's approval
- 1:51:35Speaker 10: of shielding president Trump and his sons in the Trump
- 1:51:38Speaker 10: organization from the IRS audits, because the IRS was targeting
- 1:51:42Speaker 10: Trump and his businesses. It's almost as though they had
- 1:51:48Speaker 10: weaponized a department.
- 1:51:50Speaker 9: Oh, wait a minute.
- 1:51:51Speaker 10: The Biden administration weaponized every department, every three letter agency
- 1:51:56Speaker 10: against Trump and against their political quote unquote enemies and
- 1:52:02Speaker 10: But just like the good Republican that she is, she
- 1:52:06Speaker 10: will once again hold Trump responsible. He's the one doing it.
- 1:52:11Speaker 10: That is the thing that drives these people crazy. They
- 1:52:14Speaker 10: act like we lived in a vacuum and everybody behaved
- 1:52:17Speaker 10: properly before Trump came along. And he's this big orange
- 1:52:20Speaker 10: gorilla that showed up and just started stomping around on
- 1:52:24Speaker 10: the table and swatting.
- 1:52:26Speaker 9: Down things, these helicopters.
- 1:52:28Speaker 10: They act as though the Democrats had started weaponizing everything
- 1:52:33Speaker 10: well before Trump came along. And the reason for Trump's
- 1:52:35Speaker 10: vitriol and the hatred he has for certain politicians is
- 1:52:39Speaker 10: because they've all attacked him. And Republicans, straight up, the
- 1:52:47Speaker 10: Republicans who didn't behave in front of the lamestream media,
- 1:52:50Speaker 10: the propaganda apparatus, were destroyed. Once again, she even reported,
- 1:52:58Speaker 10: she objected to Blanche's reported pledge to an anti-abortion organization,
- 1:53:01Speaker 10: which she's pro-choice. and pointed to prosecutors' efforts under Blanche
- 1:53:06Speaker 10: to indict Senators Mark Kelly and Alyssa Slotkin over a
- 1:53:09Speaker 10: video encouraging U.S. service members to resist unlawful orders, say
- 1:53:14Speaker 10: when they were ill-advised but constitutionally protected.
- 1:53:19Speaker 19: Okay.
- 1:53:20Speaker 20: Thanks, Susan.
- 1:53:21Speaker 10: Who needs Democrats when you've got Republicans like Susan Collins, right?
- 1:53:24Speaker 9: All right, gang, be safe. Have a good night. We'll
- 1:53:28Speaker 9: see you tomorrow, God willing, for our Friday show on Thursday.
