- 0:18Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:23Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Dan O'Malley along with
- 0:26Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma. Today is Tuesday, June third,
- 0:31Speaker 1: twenty twenty five, or, as I exclaimed in my car
- 0:35Speaker 1: this morning, how the hell is it June already? Not
- 0:39Speaker 1: only that, but how did I just notice it's June.
- 0:42Speaker 1: It's a third day of June, and I didn't really
- 0:43Speaker 1: realize it until this morning, And it still doesn't feel
- 0:45Speaker 1: quite real.
- 0:47Speaker 2: But here we are as we get older at the time.
- 0:54Speaker 3: I mean, it's a cliche, but I swear it just
- 0:57Speaker 3: it keeps going by.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Faster, it really does. I actually saw something about that.
- 1:03Speaker 1: The reason why time seems to go faster as adults
- 1:07Speaker 1: versus children is because, according to a story I saw,
- 1:13Speaker 1: we stop how did they phrase it? We get stuck
- 1:18Speaker 1: in such routines with home work, home work. We don't
- 1:24Speaker 1: fill our lives with as many new experiences as we
- 1:28Speaker 1: did when we were young. So that's why time seems
- 1:32Speaker 1: to go faster the older you get, because you're more
- 1:34Speaker 1: routine based and you're not doing as much fun new
- 1:37Speaker 1: stuff as you did when you were a kid.
- 1:40Speaker 4: Well, Also, when you're a kid, there's so much there's
- 1:42Speaker 4: so many things that are new to you. So like
- 1:46Speaker 4: I was, I used to do this on stage. It
- 1:48Speaker 4: was one of my favorite moments, just to see these
- 1:49Speaker 4: two kids. I was at a was checking into the
- 1:51Speaker 4: hotel doing a gig and there were two kids in
- 1:54Speaker 4: the lobby. Two kids didn't know each other, and the
- 1:56Speaker 4: one kid walked up to the other kid almost the
- 1:58Speaker 4: same age and goes, let's see who can run the fastest,
- 2:01Speaker 4: and then they just ran. Didn't know each other, they
- 2:05Speaker 4: didn't have a goal set. They were like, there was
- 2:07Speaker 4: no end. They just ran and it was the coolest
- 2:11Speaker 4: thing because they they had so much fun and they're like,
- 2:14Speaker 4: let's do it again. And I'm like, if I came
- 2:16Speaker 4: up to either one of you and just randomly went
- 2:20Speaker 4: let's see who could run the fastest, you're like, oh,
- 2:22Speaker 4: I was just drinking.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Again, unless you're running trying to chase down that wagon
- 2:30Speaker 1: you just fell off of. Yeah, because no one in
- 2:36Speaker 1: this treehouse right now is going to immediately take you
- 2:39Speaker 1: up on that offer, because one, I don't want to. Two,
- 2:43Speaker 1: even if I wanted to entertain that offer, it's gonna
- 2:46Speaker 1: take at least ten minutes of warm ups. I can't
- 2:50Speaker 1: I old to just break out into a run.
- 2:54Speaker 4: Yeah, Like Trail just pointed his squad and be like
- 2:56Speaker 4: lunges and like, yep, understood, we're not running today.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I got a light jog?
- 3:05Speaker 4: Can we brisk walk?
- 3:07Speaker 1: Honestly, even a light jog, I can't just start there
- 3:12Speaker 1: like I have to like, yeah, start walking and then
- 3:16Speaker 1: pick up the pace and slowly build up to a
- 3:18Speaker 1: slight jog.
- 3:19Speaker 4: Yeah. And even as a kid, if you got hurt,
- 3:20Speaker 4: kids are like Wolverine, like they just heal immediately, like
- 3:24Speaker 4: they're fine. Like I was a grocery store and this
- 3:27Speaker 4: little girl, poor thing, probably two years old, bumped her
- 3:30Speaker 4: head on the grocery cart. Her mom was like, mom
- 3:32Speaker 4: kind of stopped abruptly to get some cereal, and she,
- 3:35Speaker 4: I mean just started wailing like it was the world
- 3:39Speaker 4: was coming to an end. And then the cereal went
- 3:42Speaker 4: in the shopping cart and that was the happiest kid
- 3:44Speaker 4: you have ever seen in your life. I'm like, if
- 3:46Speaker 4: that was me, I'd still be on the ground.
- 3:50Speaker 1: So uh I, I this sucks. I was gonna save
- 3:54Speaker 1: this for later in the show, but it seems like
- 3:56Speaker 1: it's fitting, right, now, so here we go. My arm hurts.
- 4:00Speaker 1: I was at the gym yesterday and I was I
- 4:03Speaker 1: was doing a lift and I was like, all of
- 4:04Speaker 1: a sudden, this pain in my forearm started. This is
- 4:09Speaker 1: a new pain. I don't have room or time for
- 4:12Speaker 1: new pain because I still have a pain in my shoulder.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I still have random pains other places that happened. I
- 4:18Speaker 1: don't have time for a new one because the old
- 4:21Speaker 1: ones have yet to heal. And here's part of the
- 4:23Speaker 1: problem when you hit a certain age is when something hurts,
- 4:28Speaker 1: it takes longer for it to heal. Right. The problem
- 4:33Speaker 1: with that is when I was younger, if something hurt
- 4:38Speaker 1: for more than a few days, that was typically how
- 4:40Speaker 1: I knew I should go to the doctor to get
- 4:42Speaker 1: it checked out. As a middle aged demand, we don't
- 4:46Speaker 1: know what that timeframe is because and because things don't
- 4:50Speaker 1: take a few days to heal anymore, it takes a
- 4:52Speaker 1: few months before you notice any sort of an improvement.
- 4:56Speaker 1: So I don't know if it's something small or something major.
- 4:59Speaker 1: And by the time it's three or four months in,
- 5:03Speaker 1: I might have completely ruined whatever joint or issue that
- 5:06Speaker 1: I was having. It's a horrible, horrible position to be
- 5:10Speaker 1: in and that's where I find myself. M Yeah, crazy,
- 5:14Speaker 1: got a leg problem, I got a shoulder thing, now
- 5:16Speaker 1: an arm thing. Raj, I'm sure you got issues.
- 5:20Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I have the two bulging from the
- 5:22Speaker 4: from the car accident to bulging discs in my lower back,
- 5:25Speaker 4: two herniated disks in my neck, torn labram, torn rotator cuff. Yeah,
- 5:30Speaker 4: I mean I understand the pain and yeah, I mean
- 5:34Speaker 4: it does. I guess that's just the degenerative tissue and
- 5:37Speaker 4: then like the degenerative bones and all that stuff. That's
- 5:40Speaker 4: why we have to take You don't see a lot
- 5:41Speaker 4: of kids taking like a lot of like multi vitamins
- 5:44Speaker 4: in the morning and like specific vitamins in the morning.
- 5:48Speaker 4: They just like take a flintstone gummy and everybody's good
- 5:50Speaker 4: to go. Yeah.
- 5:52Speaker 3: I have three different pill things just full of of
- 5:57Speaker 3: supplements and vitamins and all the other rap that I
- 6:01Speaker 3: take every day.
- 6:02Speaker 4: They're like the Treehouse elon musk, just twenty pills a day.
- 6:08Speaker 4: Only yours are beneficial.
- 6:11Speaker 1: It really is sad though, because it's like I want
- 6:13Speaker 1: to go to the doctor to get various things checked
- 6:16Speaker 1: to see if they're serious or not, but I don't
- 6:20Speaker 1: exactly know what to tell the doctor because I just
- 6:22Speaker 1: need to go in and say, do you have anything
- 6:24Speaker 1: that you can prescribe for just general pain and discomfort?
- 6:29Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 6:30Speaker 2: Yeah, what's that advil?
- 6:32Speaker 1: I think I'm maxed out on my advil?
- 6:35Speaker 4: Yeah, And you gotta And then you got to worry
- 6:37Speaker 4: about you know, how much I yourprofen are you taking
- 6:39Speaker 4: because it can upset your kidneys and your liver and
- 6:42Speaker 4: then you go to the seat of menefit and that
- 6:43Speaker 4: actually processes in your liver room, metabolizes in your liver,
- 6:46Speaker 4: and that's not good. I have the I have these guys,
- 6:50Speaker 4: you know as my buddies that are you know, Indian physicians.
- 6:53Speaker 4: I do that too. I go up to them and
- 6:55Speaker 4: I'm like, here, hurts when I do this. And I
- 6:57Speaker 4: have the a hole that goes, well, then don't do that, Okay,
- 7:01Speaker 4: but it still hurts when I do that. I understand.
- 7:03Speaker 4: And they say the same thing. Have you tried admirl? No, no, no,
- 7:06Speaker 4: what is this new thing you speak of? Of course
- 7:10Speaker 4: admill is about new lady. They say it like it's
- 7:12Speaker 4: a brand new information. Have you tried extra strength? No?
- 7:16Speaker 4: They make that. Now, Look, you went to school for
- 7:19Speaker 4: eight years, and you're telling me about admirl so I.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Can't sleep on my right side, and you're asking me
- 7:25Speaker 1: if I'm aware of anti inflammatories. Yes I am, doctor.
- 7:28Speaker 4: Oh yeah, then you'll get sleep on your left. That's
- 7:33Speaker 4: what my guys would tell you.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I got bad news, Doc, that's my bad side.
- 7:38Speaker 4: The good side is the right side, and you can't
- 7:40Speaker 4: sleep on that.
- 7:40Speaker 5: Mm hmm.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Yeah, you're about to turn me into a Marvel villain.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Keep up with the jokes, doc, Let's see where this goes.
- 7:51Speaker 4: The Hulks started off as a doctor. Just f y,
- 7:53Speaker 4: I don't make me angry.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Yeah, doctor doom also doctor. The sad thing is, though,
- 8:04Speaker 1: is if I have a doctorate, it's not from a
- 8:06Speaker 1: good school. That makes me all the more dangerous.
- 8:16Speaker 6: You're listening to the trees. Visit us online a treehouse

- 8:42Speaker 7: We've had several clients recently call us up and say, hey,
- 8:46Speaker 7: I received a letter from my insurance carrier. They said
- 8:49Speaker 7: either I'm missing shingles, or my trees are too close
- 8:54Speaker 7: to my roof.
- 8:55Speaker 5: Or.
- 8:57Speaker 7: Something to that magnet point that that they are not
- 9:01Speaker 7: wing to ensure the clients anymore. And we're wondering how
- 9:04Speaker 7: they got that information. Where we go and meet the
- 9:06Speaker 7: client and basically they've got a letter and they got
- 9:09Speaker 7: a picture of their home or they got a picture
- 9:11Speaker 7: of the damaged roof and it shows them.
- 9:14Speaker 2: And then the clients.
- 9:15Speaker 7: Called these carriers and said, hey, you know, did you
- 9:18Speaker 7: come out to my house and and the and the
- 9:20Speaker 7: carry will tell them no, we hire third party people
- 9:23Speaker 7: that will come out take pictures of your home, or
- 9:25Speaker 7: they have drones that fly over your home to ensure
- 9:28Speaker 7: the insurability of it.
- 9:29Speaker 2: And I was like shocked.
- 9:31Speaker 7: At at that, but that is the case, and so
- 9:34Speaker 7: insurance carriers are just being very cautious here on out.
- 9:37Speaker 7: I mean, they're they're ensuring a large amount of money

- 9:52Speaker 7: of of of the year that we're in and and
- 9:54Speaker 7: and it's amazing to see how much pursue and these

- 10:04Speaker 1: Take a hint from the insurance companies. Get your roof

- 11:48Speaker 1: I'm Daniel Malley along with Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Today is Tuesday, June third, twenty twenty five. Tender, the
- 11:59Speaker 1: world famous dating app Tender, has sparked controversy this week.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Did you guys know Tender secretly rolled out a height
- 12:07Speaker 1: filter on their app?
- 12:11Speaker 4: Okay?
- 12:11Speaker 8: Was that?
- 12:13Speaker 4: I guess I was a deal breaker for some people.
- 12:15Speaker 4: They were leaving their height out. Is that that's that's
- 12:18Speaker 4: the that's the deal breaker.
- 12:20Speaker 1: On Tender or I guess you couldn't search based on height,
- 12:23Speaker 1: or you could matches based on height. Now in your
- 12:26Speaker 1: preferences where And keep in mind, I'm speaking completely based
- 12:31Speaker 1: on secondhand information here because I've I've never I've only
- 12:36Speaker 1: used the ten I've only used the Tender app once
- 12:38Speaker 1: and that was like ten years ago, drunkenly and swiping
- 12:42Speaker 1: left and right on my friend's app while he was
- 12:44Speaker 1: in the bathroom. So I don't know how you set
- 12:47Speaker 1: up a profile or anything, because, uh, my wife and
- 12:49Speaker 1: I predate that advanced level of dating.
- 12:52Speaker 4: Yeah, but that I mean you also, it's before you realized,
- 12:57Speaker 4: you know, you could be swiping right to like a
- 12:59Speaker 4: serial killer, so you could have been doing that and
- 13:02Speaker 4: it's like, ha ha, look at this joke, and then
- 13:03Speaker 4: like what happened to Steve.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Well, it's okay because he was over six feet tall,
- 13:10Speaker 1: so she at least died with a match that she wanted.
- 13:14Speaker 1: But that's where the controversy is coming in. So now
- 13:16Speaker 1: you've got people who can get results on Tender based
- 13:20Speaker 1: on height preferences that they've put in. Of course, this
- 13:26Speaker 1: means a lot of short kings are upset because they're
- 13:29Speaker 1: they're going to get filtered out because it's very popular
- 13:34Speaker 1: for women to seek a man that is at least
- 13:37Speaker 1: six feet tall, and some people get butt hurt by.
- 13:41Speaker 4: This and by some people.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Well, it doesn't bother me, Raj. I'm married. Honestly, if
- 13:52Speaker 1: my wife and I were both single right now, she
- 13:54Speaker 1: would probably be like, she'd probably do the six feet
- 13:57Speaker 1: up thing.
- 13:59Speaker 4: Okay, well that's uh, that's good. That's stinning. That's stinning.
- 14:03Speaker 4: That heard out for us, all right.
- 14:05Speaker 2: M hm, I'm confused as too. I mean, you wouldn't.
- 14:10Speaker 3: I would think in my mind, uh, I mean, I
- 14:14Speaker 3: haven't been on tender in years.
- 14:15Speaker 2: It's a waste land, but.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Uh, I would think you it would be better, I
- 14:22Speaker 3: mean than showing up for a date and she's like
- 14:25Speaker 3: yeah no, uh yeah too short and you know, or
- 14:30Speaker 3: you just waste money on a date and then find out, Yeah,
- 14:32Speaker 3: they wouldn't even be a second one because she thinks
- 14:35Speaker 3: you're too short.
- 14:36Speaker 4: But are there women who are like I'm totally into
- 14:39Speaker 4: really short dudes, Like I've not I've not seen that,
- 14:44Speaker 4: but like, is there a thing like, you know, you
- 14:47Speaker 4: got to be under five five from for me to do?
- 14:51Speaker 4: You know, I don't know if I have no idea.
- 14:53Speaker 4: But then on the but on the flip side of it,
- 14:55Speaker 4: like I have a friend of mine she played college basketball.
- 14:58Speaker 4: I think she played a Kentucky But she's six', four
- 15:03Speaker 4: so that would help her because she wants to find
- 15:05Speaker 4: somebody six or five and, above so that WOULD i,
- 15:08Speaker 4: MEAN i could see that. Helping but, yeah it's an
- 15:11Speaker 4: interesting thing that hype plays out.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Well quite, frankly it's not. UNCOMMON i, mean and it
- 15:18Speaker 3: doesn't matter what service you're. Using if you especially for,
- 15:22Speaker 3: girls let's say they're five eight but they're six foot
- 15:24Speaker 3: in heels and they're, LIKE i want someone who's at
- 15:26Speaker 3: least my height or taller When i'm in.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Heels that's fairly.
- 15:30Speaker 3: COMMON i don't. KNOW i don't know why being filtered
- 15:34Speaker 3: out is causing an.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Uproar it's because there's a lot of people that are
- 15:38Speaker 1: devastated by it because they think it's over for short.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Men and to a certain degree that's true when it
- 15:44Speaker 1: would if you're going purely based on physical traits with
- 15:47Speaker 1: an online dating, profile you're probably gonna get hosed a
- 15:51Speaker 1: little bit if, you as the, guy are being honest
- 15:54Speaker 1: about your. Height but let's be. Honest most short dudes
- 15:57Speaker 1: are not being honest about their.
- 15:59Speaker 4: Height or they'll add the half LIKE i, uh.
- 16:03Speaker 1: That's WHAT i. Mean they'll fudge it.
- 16:04Speaker 4: Up, yeah, Yeah Like i'm five five and a half
- 16:08Speaker 4: And i'm, like, OKAY i got, you.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Buddy he's gonna say he's five eight just so he
- 16:11Speaker 1: can try to claim that he's the national. Average he's.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Not he's going to show up and you're gonna be, like, no.
- 16:18Speaker 4: YEAH i have And i'm not gonna say his, name
- 16:19Speaker 4: BUT i have a buddy of. Mine he swears up
- 16:22Speaker 4: and down that he's five five and a. Half And i'm, like,
- 16:26Speaker 4: BUDDY i love you. Man you're, like you're my, boy
- 16:29Speaker 4: BUT i mean you're you're hitting five three on a good.
- 16:31Speaker 4: DAY i mean WHEN i stand next to, him LIKE
- 16:35Speaker 4: i feel LIKE i, like people would mistake him for my.
- 16:38Speaker 4: Child and what does your son want to? Drink, well
- 16:43Speaker 4: that grown man would like a whiskey and. Coke, Yes
- 16:46Speaker 4: but he swears five five and a Half and like some.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Of the, people some of the people are devastated because
- 16:53Speaker 1: it changes it changes the game on tender for some
- 16:57Speaker 1: and then other people mentioned like you, Did, trey it's
- 16:59Speaker 1: like you, know this is a good thing to, have
- 17:02Speaker 1: so that way it doesn't waste anybody's time by, accidentally you,
- 17:07Speaker 1: know swiping onto someone who's under six feet. Tall so
- 17:12Speaker 1: like you, said you're not wasting a, Date you're not wasting,
- 17:14Speaker 1: Time you're not wasting money on someone that doesn't have
- 17:18Speaker 1: a physical attribute that you find to be that. Important
- 17:21Speaker 1: the flip side is the idea of human connection based on,
- 17:26Speaker 1: romance love and all that is supposed to be based
- 17:28Speaker 1: on sort of a personality, match, right and you might
- 17:33Speaker 1: be dispelling someone who would be a great match for
- 17:35Speaker 1: you just because they fall an inch or too short
- 17:39Speaker 1: of your must be this tall to ride. Setting for,
- 17:47Speaker 1: EXAMPLE i am not six feet, tall but my personality
- 17:50Speaker 1: is like seven Feet i'm Like shaquille.
- 17:52Speaker 4: O'Neal your personality is a tall black dude FROM. Lsu, yes.
- 18:03Speaker 1: With, that with, that with that bigfoot.

- 19:29Speaker 1: Tuesday june, third twenty twenty. Five let's stay with controversy
- 19:35Speaker 1: inside The treehouse, now, because according to a new interview
- 19:39Speaker 1: With Dave, mustaine Did metallica steal the riff for their biggest.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Hit this is not a new, allegation But Dave mustaine
- 19:49Speaker 1: brought it up again in a recent. Interview dave was
- 19:52Speaker 1: relieved of his duties As metallica's guitarist way before they
- 19:55Speaker 1: made it, big but he did retain writing credits on
- 19:59Speaker 1: a number of the early, songs Including ride The lightning
- 20:03Speaker 1: and a couple of. Others but it seems like he
- 20:07Speaker 1: just this story just kind of follows him around as
- 20:10Speaker 1: far as like having used to have been part Of.
- 20:13Speaker 1: Metallica in this new, Interview Dave mustaine suggested that fans
- 20:18Speaker 1: look up a song from nineteen eighty nine Called tapping
- 20:22Speaker 1: into The Emotional void by a band Called, excel and
- 20:27Speaker 1: he says the two songs sound extremely. Familiar tapping into
- 20:30Speaker 1: The void by the Band excel and Enter sandman By.
- 20:35Speaker 3: Metallica wait one, question and you KNOW i refresh my.
- 20:40Speaker 3: Memory it's a long time Since i've heard the Name Dave.
- 20:43Speaker 3: Mustaine megadeth, Yep, okay.
- 20:48Speaker 4: Yeah he was fired From metallica Because i'm not making this.
- 20:52Speaker 4: Up he drank too. Much this is coming from a
- 20:56Speaker 4: band also known As. Alcoholica, yuh And Dave. Mustaine they
- 21:01Speaker 4: looked at him and, went you have a. Problem and
- 21:04Speaker 4: that's when they were recording their demo In New york
- 21:06Speaker 4: and they sent him. Back they gave. Him he was,
- 21:09Speaker 4: asleep he was asked. Out they woke him up and
- 21:12Speaker 4: they handed him a bus ticket and what they called
- 21:14Speaker 4: a bologny on. Hand they put two pieces of bologny
- 21:17Speaker 4: with cheese in his palm of his, hand and that
- 21:20Speaker 4: was his lunch or another thing they called it was
- 21:23Speaker 4: a hand. Sandwich so and then he was, like if you,
- 21:27Speaker 4: Guys i'm gonna start In megadeath AND i think they're
- 21:30Speaker 4: gonna tour at some point for the first time ever
- 21:34Speaker 4: on the same. Bill so that's gonna be an interesting
- 21:37Speaker 4: reunion of sorts The bygones.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Tour so let's take a listen, here we're gonna. Start
- 21:46Speaker 1: we'll listen, here see if you, can if you can
- 21:48Speaker 1: find Inter, sandman if you, think, uh tap into The
- 21:52Speaker 1: void By excel is the same as Inter sandman From, Metallica.
- 21:58Speaker 10: Okay, yeah, Yeah.
- 23:21Speaker 1: I'm, Sorry Dave mustain and the Band excel can just
- 23:24Speaker 1: write off there's that's no. Way, nope, nope, nope no,
- 23:28Speaker 1: way no hoppen not the. Same i'm Not it's not
- 23:32Speaker 1: even really that close to. Me i'm, sorry but one
- 23:34Speaker 1: gives me a stiffy and one makes me.
- 23:36Speaker 4: Limp, no it's the exact. Same it is not the.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Same did you see the look on my face when
- 23:43Speaker 1: when The tap into The void By excel was. Playing it's, like, okay,
- 23:46Speaker 1: okay please hurry up and get to The Inner. Sandman
- 23:48Speaker 1: and then When Inner sandman came, ON i was, like,
- 23:50Speaker 1: yeah it's not the.
- 23:51Speaker 3: Same, yeah there There there are a couple of chord
- 23:54Speaker 3: progressions in the first one that you, yes they sound,
- 23:57Speaker 3: similar but you then go back to it's like if
- 24:00Speaker 3: you've ever seen that like that that there's like a comedy.
- 24:02Speaker 3: Band they're Called axis Of awesome and they do the
- 24:04Speaker 3: four chord deal where it's you can every hit song
- 24:07Speaker 3: is four. Chords, YES i mean it's the same Way
- 24:10Speaker 3: russ actually could play a. Song is there's you, know
- 24:13Speaker 3: there's four power chords that pretty much make up probably
- 24:17Speaker 3: eighty percent of.
- 24:18Speaker 4: Songs SO i mean it would win in, court LIKE i,
- 24:22Speaker 4: mean WOULDN'T.
- 24:24Speaker 3: I, mean don't you think they would have tried by
- 24:26Speaker 3: now if they thought they had a.
- 24:27Speaker 4: Case IF i excel the, band WHICH i have never heard,
- 24:31Speaker 4: of you're gonna take On metallica's. Lawyers they'll keep.
- 24:36Speaker 3: THAT i mean this is from forty years ago. Basically so,
- 24:39Speaker 3: yeah sometimes in.
- 24:40Speaker 1: The ninety if you're ever going to take them, on
- 24:42Speaker 1: that was the time to do it at their. Peak
- 24:46Speaker 1: that Wasn't metallica at their.
- 24:48Speaker 3: Peak, yeah but you also but but remember this Raj
- 24:52Speaker 3: well we Take sampling then became a big thing in the,
- 24:54Speaker 3: nineties mainly because of, rap but that, became you, know a,
- 24:59Speaker 3: deal and there were a lot of artists that got
- 25:02Speaker 3: paid because they had been. Sampled so if they were
- 25:05Speaker 3: ever gonna do, it the nineties would have been the.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Time, Yeah and that's not understand what you're saying. Though
- 25:10Speaker 1: it's Like Inner sandman and The Black album is what
- 25:12Speaker 1: truly Put metallica on the worldwide. Map before, that they
- 25:16Speaker 1: had great albums and they were huge in the rock,
- 25:18Speaker 1: scene especially in the heavy metal, scene but The Black
- 25:21Speaker 1: album was what sent them. Mainstream they it wasn't until
- 25:25Speaker 1: after that. Album, yeah it was when they was when
- 25:30Speaker 1: you would consider them. Peaking because when The Black album,
- 25:32Speaker 1: hit they are seriously on a meteoric, rise which means
- 25:34Speaker 1: if you're going to hit them with a, lawsuit that
- 25:36Speaker 1: was the time to do.
- 25:37Speaker 4: It.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Excel according to, Reports excel thought about suing When sandman
- 25:44Speaker 1: first came out in nineteen ninety, one but they decided a,
- 25:47Speaker 1: lengthy expensive legal battle just wasn't worth it because they
- 25:51Speaker 1: decided to go the opposite route. Instead they hoped the
- 25:55Speaker 1: borrowed lick their, argument would call more attention to them
- 26:01Speaker 1: and help their. Career they could not have been more
- 26:04Speaker 1: wrong on that, front.
- 26:06Speaker 4: And then they went into. Spreadsheets that's the only time
- 26:15Speaker 4: The indian bass player came.
- 26:16Speaker 5: In.

- 32:26Speaker 1: With Trey trenholm And Raj. Sharma today Is, Tuesday june,
- 32:30Speaker 1: third twenty twenty. Five let's celebrate today with some. Birthdays
- 32:37Speaker 1: tennis Superstar Rafael nadal is thirteen, nine pretty good at,
- 32:44Speaker 1: it so, yeah the biggest names in tennis the last
- 32:47Speaker 1: handful of, years or really maybe the last ten to fifteen,
- 32:50Speaker 1: years have Been Rafael nadal And Roger. Federer Rafael nadal
- 32:55Speaker 1: has actually Beaten Roger federer ten of the fourteen times
- 32:59Speaker 1: that they have played in A Grand slam, Match so
- 33:04Speaker 1: pretty good. RECORD i ever tell you guys about the
- 33:08Speaker 1: TIME i THOUGHT i could play. Tennis you know how
- 33:14Speaker 1: puberty hits people in different awkward. Ways, yes, well WHEN
- 33:20Speaker 1: i was in seventh, grade puberty hit me in such
- 33:22Speaker 1: an awkward. WAY i THOUGHT i could play. Tennis so
- 33:25Speaker 1: instead of trying out for the football, TEAM i tried
- 33:27Speaker 1: out for the tennis.
- 33:28Speaker 4: Team did you lose to the?
- 33:30Speaker 1: Wall see you see it AS i lost to the,
- 33:39Speaker 1: wall OR i see it AS i beat. Myself and
- 33:43Speaker 1: that's where that false sense of security came into, play
- 33:46Speaker 1: AND i, thought you know, WHAT i would like to
- 33:48Speaker 1: play some.
- 33:49Speaker 4: Tennis, SEE i went the other way. AROUND i DECIDED
- 33:52Speaker 4: i was going to play, football and very quickly learned
- 33:55Speaker 4: we played. Tennis and so that's WHAT i ended up
- 33:58Speaker 4: doing when that football.
- 34:01Speaker 1: Career, YEAH i think it was somewhere somewhere in the
- 34:05Speaker 1: middle of my tennis tryout one of the football coaches
- 34:08Speaker 1: was walking by and, said, Like.
- 34:09Speaker 2: Hey what do you.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Doing get over, here put that racket, down get over,
- 34:15Speaker 1: Here like.
- 34:15Speaker 4: Okay, Coach yeah, Mine mine led me to the. Court
- 34:19Speaker 4: my football coach was, like, hey keep walking that way
- 34:21Speaker 4: past the field outs and then take off sharp. Left
- 34:25Speaker 4: that's where you need to.
- 34:26Speaker 1: Be this is where you belong, To. Charman this is
- 34:29Speaker 1: you and me passing each other in the.
- 34:32Speaker 4: You go where all the white kids, ARE i meet
- 34:34Speaker 4: up with all the Other. Asians, uh so much for dec.
- 34:38Speaker 4: Hegregation i'm, like you guys are tennis players and the math.
- 34:42Speaker 4: Club oh, Heavan.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Yeah it really. Was SO i got it BECAUSE i
- 34:48Speaker 1: got sucked. INTO i really followed tennis a lot back.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Then and in my, DEFENSE i had good reason because
- 34:56Speaker 1: we're talking about the heyday Of Andre, Agassy pete SAMP i,
- 35:00Speaker 1: mean those are good tennis watching.
- 35:02Speaker 4: Days, YEAH i MEAN I i was going back to
- 35:06Speaker 4: like you, KNOW I Von lendell and Uh Ilia, nastasio
- 35:11Speaker 4: like back in those. Days so that's like ancient well.
- 35:16Speaker 3: And you had he had the golden days of McEnroe
- 35:19Speaker 3: And Jimmy connors that you, Know oh, yeah they still
- 35:21Speaker 3: had good fits on the court and stuff like.
- 35:23Speaker 1: That, yeah decorum was. Gone, YEAH i think stuff THAT
- 35:29Speaker 1: i saw the only REASON i, saw like The Jimmy
- 35:31Speaker 1: connors and the McEnroe and The nastasi And Bjorn. Borg
- 35:35Speaker 1: the only REASON i was really familiar with those is
- 35:36Speaker 1: because they happen to be buried into the middle of
- 35:39Speaker 1: some tennis segment on It's Sports illustrated video that came
- 35:43Speaker 1: along with my dad's magazine.
- 35:45Speaker 4: SUBSCRIPTION i heard magazine, subscription AND i was, like they
- 35:55Speaker 4: talked about tennis and.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Those in sports In Sports Illustrated they.
- 35:59Speaker 4: Oh, okay, Yes sports.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Illustrateds it wasn't until after the divorce The playboy subscription
- 36:07Speaker 1: saw the light of, day and IRONICALLY i tucked him
- 36:12Speaker 1: more into the. NIGHT i was excited to go to
- 36:18Speaker 1: my dad's house for two.
- 36:19Speaker 4: Reasons And john McEnroe's his Brother's is That pat Mct
- 36:25Speaker 4: is that his brother's, Name patrick. McEnroe, Yeah like he
- 36:30Speaker 4: got overshadowed BY i, mean that's just sad to, Say
- 36:33Speaker 4: like he was a good tennis, player but he just
- 36:35Speaker 4: got overshadowed By john McEnroe's verbal abuse of the of
- 36:39Speaker 4: the line judges and the that's what really got him
- 36:42Speaker 4: overshadows like you. Should i'm sure they had that meeting
- 36:45Speaker 4: where like you should cuss a lot like your.
- 36:46Speaker 1: Brother so he was So john McEnroe had a brother
- 36:50Speaker 1: or has a, brother and he also played.
- 36:52Speaker 4: Tennis, yes it was a very good tennis, player but we.
- 36:56Speaker 1: All know mcnroe because he was, angry foul mouth than all. That,
- 37:00Speaker 1: oh while his brother was more of a people. Pleaser, yes.
- 37:07Speaker 4: That sad to. Say he was just a nice dude
- 37:10Speaker 4: that played And john went through like three rackets a.
- 37:15Speaker 1: Game and now he plays.
- 37:18Speaker 4: Pickleball, yes because he's an old white man and that's
- 37:23Speaker 4: what old white people should, do not young. Professionals they're
- 37:27Speaker 4: building pickleball courts and apartment complexes, now ye.
- 37:31Speaker 3: See you Know Lebron james is one of the bigger
- 37:33Speaker 3: pickleball advocates out, there is?
- 37:36Speaker 4: He? Yes oh, no well.
- 37:39Speaker 1: He stands on the court for two.
- 37:40Speaker 4: Reasons and wasn't It Von lindel didn't he didn't he
- 37:50Speaker 4: like seriously injure a ball boy in the ball bag
- 37:56Speaker 4: when he had a a serve that went think it
- 38:00Speaker 4: was an. ACE i think it was a serve that
- 38:01Speaker 4: went off and it hit a ball boy in the
- 38:04Speaker 4: in the cronchious the crotch, area and.
- 38:07Speaker 1: That the kid's. Fault should his head have been on a?
- 38:09Speaker 4: Swivel, no because he was just one of the ball
- 38:12Speaker 4: boys like up against the back, wall like you, know
- 38:14Speaker 4: ready to go in, case you, know there's a a
- 38:17Speaker 4: ball that needs to be, gotten and he got his
- 38:20Speaker 4: in the in in the bean.
- 38:21Speaker 1: BAG i believe that sounds to me like he should
- 38:23Speaker 1: have been paying. Attention that sounds like it's more his. Fault,
- 38:26Speaker 1: now if if you're the kid that's crouching next to
- 38:28Speaker 1: the net and you get hit in the, nuts THEN
- 38:30Speaker 1: i can see how that that is not your.
- 38:33Speaker 4: Fault if you're crouching next to the, net you' you're
- 38:35Speaker 4: gonna get hit in the. Head if you get hit
- 38:37Speaker 4: in the, nuts you're crouching in a really weird. Way
- 38:40Speaker 4: that's a that's my.
- 38:41Speaker 2: Request that's A diddy, tournament.
- 38:49Speaker 1: Wimbled diddy.
