- 1:20[SPEAKER_01]: And at the end of it, we'll just
- 1:26[SPEAKER_01]: Alright guys, let's start here, it's different.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_01]: Usually I have Simon below me and CK above.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_01]: And now it's the other way around.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know how to change it.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_01]: So, so I guess Chris, you're going to go first on this.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_03]: Oh boy, I wasn't looking any, I wasn't looking any at the end.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_03]: The actors have gone to the side of the picture.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_03]: How did you not know this?
- 1:47[SPEAKER_03]: Because Jimmy's is for over time.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_03]: I was reading something, the first time I was in Chen.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_04]: You know why that happened, Elf?
- 1:56[SPEAKER_04]: Well, because I was the last one of the parties this year.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, Elf.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_01]: Do you think I can change it?
- 2:01[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_03]: No, I don't have to look out and then look back in again.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_03]: We both have to come back out and then I come and first.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_01]: Let me see, let me see if this works, all right?
- 2:09[SPEAKER_01]: Isn't that right?
- 2:10[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you're really coming up on this.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, wait a minute.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_04]: Just kick Simon out.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_01]: What?
- 2:15[SPEAKER_04]: Bang!
- 2:17[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, look at that.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_04]: We're just kick him out, we can do that, like literally any time.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, look, I'm learning how to use this thing as we speak.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_04]: Is it's surely not going to do that.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_04]: Surely you wouldn't do that to me if I just started droning on.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, let me see.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_03]: Bang, you see, and now I got Simon next to me.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_04]: So, yeah, Simon's work for audio only people right now.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Simon's going to go first on this.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_01]: What in the hell are our deep consequences doing, essentially very passive aggressively, all of them?
- 2:57[SPEAKER_01]: It seemed like it's a concerted effort.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they had a convention or something, they met together for dinner, and it said, look, we're going to coordinate our efforts
- 3:06[SPEAKER_01]: And we're gonna be really passive aggressive in all of these availabilitys and talk about oh This guy just got here like three weeks ago, and the other guy just got here a month ago, and Assessage just throw shade on on Chris Greer to know and what do you make of this?
- 3:21[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's completely off-putting.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you have a different thought on this than I do Simon
- 3:29[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what you're referring to.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_01]: Then Chris is going to fill you in.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_01]: I have the idea.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_04]: Today, literally, the corners coach Matthew Oraho.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_04]: He mentioned something about, you know, how well, if you think about it, all three of our corners, they're starting corners right now.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_04]: None of them were here at the start of training camp.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_04]: And so I think it's sort of a
- 3:56[SPEAKER_04]: You know, I don't think they mean it.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think they mean it in a malicious way.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_01]: Why are all of them saying the same thing?
- 4:04[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I mean, Anthony we even started Anthony we ever went into it a little bit, right?
- 4:08[SPEAKER_04]: But he was sort of he was very aggressively asked.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_04]: Like, did you at any point step up and say, I don't have enough.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_04]: I don't have enough.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_04]: Like, did you go really advocate for the talent on the defense?
- 4:25[SPEAKER_04]: And I think, you know, there's asked a couple of different ways, the same type of question, and he made a comment.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_04]: He's like, listen, I don't buy the groceries.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_04]: I just cook, you know, like that's something along those lines, right?
- 4:40[SPEAKER_04]: And Arajo just said something more or less the same thing as weaver, I think weaver even mentioned the same thing about the corners too.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_04]: Actually kind of weaver went through the entire list of the defense and he's like look how much has changed like the people say just build on next series like every year is different he's like look at it like the corners that we have.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_04]: You know, they weren't even here in training camp, you know, starting corners.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_04]: The safeties are all new.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_04]: The, you know, we have new to new defensive tackles.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_04]: We have Jalen Phillips and Bradley Chubb didn't even play last year.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_04]: Like, you know, Jalen Phillips play like four games or three games or something like that.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_04]: He's like, this is an all new defense.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_04]: And I think that that was a salient point actually.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_04]: I did a study on that and I showed that yeah, the dolphins have probably the second most turnover on defense of any defense in the league from a snap standpoint.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_04]: You know, just in terms of pure snap, pure snap, you know, being identical from one year to the next.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_04]: And there is a very strong relationship, a very strong relationship that you can show between that turnover and how good your defenses.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_04]: It's really, I mean, it's as simple as that, especially in the first four games of the year.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_04]: So, you know, Anthony Weaver had a point there and Arajo, I think, is saying the same thing.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_04]: And it kind of just reminds me of how people start a point of fingers on the offense.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_04]: You know, before a couple weeks ago, we had to a talking about the operations and stuff like that.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_04]: You had even Mike McDaniel talking about his, his underlying coaches and their operations.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_04]: You had, you know, Frank Smith coming back and saying, you know, well, you know, we could have called more runs.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_04]: We found as a staff that we could have called more runs, but, you know, we got away from it.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_04]: Well, who's we as a staff?
- 6:43[SPEAKER_04]: Who's the play caller?
- 6:44[SPEAKER_04]: You know, um, so I mean, it's just, there's a lot of finger point going on and it's the classic thing that happens when you're one in three team.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, or no and three, now one and three, hopefully things are turning around.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_04]: Um, but also you one and three is not so one and three having just lost your superstar wide receiver is still not looking good.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_01]: especially when the defense just has not been good.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_01]: And it's legal, right?
- 7:17[SPEAKER_01]: You can say it's terrible.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's one of those things where, you know, they fix one thing and something else breaks.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_01]: And then, okay, let's fix that.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_01]: And then this is gonna break.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_01]: So what I found a little bit off put in, Simon, you could speak to this, is that the guys that are playing well as of late, are the guys that just got here,
- 7:41[SPEAKER_01]: And then guys that are playing bad are the ones that have been here for two years or been here since April.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_01]: And today's Simon, I don't know, I'm certain you haven't watched the the availability to say from all the coaches.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_01]: Frank Smith was was peak cocking all over the place on the podium.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_01]: Like he was like, yeah, I told to, I told to, to two of the darn wallets catch radius is vicinity, just throw it near him and he's going to catch it.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_01]: You know, but when they were talking, but when all the coaches were talking and Anthony we were was talking and Anthony we were said look
- 8:18[SPEAKER_01]: Relax on KG.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_01]: Evidently, Kenneth Grant is now named after Hall of Fame Power Forward from the Boston Celtics.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_01]: But he said, relax on KG.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to be a fabulous player in this league.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, you know, it's going to take time with him.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_01]: And it was essentially an excuse to her.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_01]: But what do you make of it Simon?
- 8:38[SPEAKER_01]: Where, yeah, the guys that are actually playing kind of good the last two weeks are the two cornerbacks that just got here.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_01]: And everybody else has
- 8:47[SPEAKER_01]: or been at least around since April have been downright terrible and they don't seem like they can do especially look and this in this availability he was asked about you started the game off in with a 44 defense essentially a gator defense yeah you know what happened with that gator defense he didn't call it again after four carries where each carry was at least six yards so
- 9:16[SPEAKER_01]: Are we really talking about firing the wrong coach here?
- 9:19[SPEAKER_01]: Your assessment on the whole thing from today from these coaches and Anthony Weaver's, I guess performance.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_01]: Simon.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_01]: Whatever.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_01]: It's a little bit of a question.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_01]: Essentially, I'm asking you why are all of the guys that have been here for two years, suck, all of a sudden, why do all these draft picks suck?
- 9:40[SPEAKER_01]: Why do all these linebackers suck?
- 9:41[SPEAKER_01]: Why do all of these safety suck?
- 9:43[SPEAKER_01]: And the only guys that are any good,
- 9:45[SPEAKER_01]: are the two cornerbacks they picked up a month ago, your thought.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I don't have an answer to why they would be, I mean, if I knew that, I would be of
- 10:00[SPEAKER_03]: that billionaire, or like an NFL head coach, I don't understand.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_03]: I think what we've been doing is extremely difficult, and I know there are many people who agree with me and that's absolutely fine.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_03]: I think what he's trying to do is he understands that the players that he has don't fit what he's trying to do, and you can see how when he's poaching, when you look at the fact
- 10:28[SPEAKER_03]: You know, he's not a man cover scheme guy yet what's happening is that he's always having to play two different sets of coverage is depending on which side of the field he's on he's playing some zone to accommodate Russell Douglas he's playing man to accommodate
- 10:46[SPEAKER_03]: to accommodate Jack Jones and it's working for both of them.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_03]: But unfortunately, you can only do so much.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_03]: That's why he's blitzing when you're more than I think he's blitzed before.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_03]: It's why he's dropping players off into coverage.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_03]: And people are going to know why he's dead.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_03]: Then he flips and coverage.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_03]: Why is short, obviously coverage?
- 11:02[SPEAKER_03]: It just happens.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_03]: This is not saying new.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_03]: He's not saying empty weave.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_03]: He's just doing this happening all around the league.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_03]: And it's been happening around the league for ages.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I've seen Michael Parsons in the last two seasons running 30,
- 11:14[SPEAKER_03]: We saw to our detriment and we won't lay out too long to drop it off in coverage.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_03]: It's all about confusing core backs post snap.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_03]: Everything changes post snap and if, you know, through a defensive coordinate so we're not changing the picture for core backs post snap and they're getting picked up on and they're getting beaten.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_03]: It's what everybody does.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_03]: It's what fake fanjero does.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_03]: It's what Bryan Flores does.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_03]: It's what all good coaches do.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_03]: So I think people probably just need to watch a bit more football around the league.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_03]: If they're worried about why I got the dolphins of dropping players off into coverage,
- 11:43[SPEAKER_03]: As to why two corners are playing well and the rest aren't, I would say it's probably anomalous, quite frankly.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_03]: It just is what it is.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_03]: He's able to tend it to their needs slightly more, then he would do turn it off all night back or to a defensive tackle.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_03]: And the rest are just not playing very well because
- 12:02[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe they're just not very good players.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, you know, it's very early to judge.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_03]: Like Kenneth Grant has not been good at all, but it's four games.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_03]: I think we've just said that I was just reading through the transcript there as you were asking me you were extremely long question.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_03]: He, you know, he says that he's going to be fine and he's right is any four games.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_01]: If you read that transcript, he also throws shade at Jordan Phillips.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, I didn't get that far, but, I mean, I think for which is that playing ground, frankly.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but yeah, I look, Kenneth Grant needs to work on his technique, his fundamentals, as we have said, we've mentioned on Monday night, he pops up way too high, but, you know, mistackles, which have been a thing, it were a thing on Monday night.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_03]: That's not an anti-weaver, that's on the players.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_03]: You're taro dots and missing tackles, Jordan Brooks missing tackles.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_03]: That is not on veteran players.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_03]: That is not the responsibility of anti-weaver.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_03]: But overall, the unit isn't very good.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_03]: It's not got very good players in the players that you expected.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_03]: We talked about it in the preseason.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_03]: We said to look if the front four can get pressure and can get out of the four.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_03]: We can work, drop seven, drop eight coverages.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_03]: then that might just protect the back end and it hasn't been because the front of four have been awful but trying to get pressure on the call back.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, I don't have, I mean, a ramble from like three or four minutes, but I don't think I have an answer as to why it's happening.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_03]: I think that maybe it's just the ability to cater to the needs more specifically in the players that are succeeding a little bit better than it is to the rest of them.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and more Anthony weaver on this, and I like to get Chris's ideas on this as well.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_01]: He threw shade on Jordan Phillips.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_01]: He says, look, there was this one play, where I think it was when he reversed his field when Justin Fields reversed his field, and he goes, if you watch that play, nobody blocks Jordan Phillips.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_01]: So it would help if he tackled the quarterback.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, okay, now that's direct, you know, that's pretty direct shade on your rookie zero tech and then he also kind of revealed something when they asked them all you blitzing a lot because you're trying to get pressure on the quarterback and he said I'm blitzing a lot because I'm trying to stop the run.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_01]: What does that tell you, Chris, is what is he revealing with what's going on on this defense that he's essentially telling you I'm blitzing to try to stop the run and we know what that means.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_01]: That means that he's firing somebody off to try to force cutbacks into where there's traffic and even those guys are getting blocked.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_01]: Your thoughts, Chris?
- 14:52[SPEAKER_04]: Simon alluded to that the defense is not very good.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_04]: I think all the way through you have you have a lot of problems um and one thing I would push back a little bit on is, you know, the idea that we're soul Douglas and Jack Jones are the ones that are playing well.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_04]: I don't want to be prisoner in the moment.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_04]: Jack Jones and Resoul Douglas played well in this last game.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_04]: And Russell Douglas also did not play well when he was thrown and understandably so, but no matter, I mean, it is what it is, understandably so or not, he didn't play well in the first week, certainly.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_04]: You know, there's it's the taking turns thing that kills that kills a unit, right?
- 15:41[SPEAKER_04]: It's the taking turns of who's who's who's bad this week.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_04]: You know, Jason Marshall was forced into that the starting nickel role, I think he has a natural fit there for the defense of needs, but also he's a rookie is never played that position before in his life and he's a day three guy.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_04]: How talented did he ultimately and and you know certainly not experienced heat played terribly at times Cornell Armstrong has played terribly at times in his place.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_04]: You know, there's there's times of Tyrell dots and it's played well and then there's times of Tyrell dots and it's played poorly very poorly There's times that Jordan Jordan Brooks is played well and poorly.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it's it's the taking turns thing That I would emphasize more than just saying oh no actually the guys that we just acquired They're the they're the good ones right now now.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_04]: They were they were the good ones for a game What's the next game look like what does that look like when they're going against technique milling?
- 16:41[SPEAKER_04]: You know, what does that look like when they're going against Xavier like it, you know, what is, what does that look like?
- 16:48[SPEAKER_04]: As you go week to week, that's, that's what I would emphasize more.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_04]: And that's just a very holistic bad approach to the defense that's gone on from a personnel roster management standpoint.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_04]: You do have to rookie defensive linemen in a scheme that depends on these defensive linemen knowing what they're doing.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_04]: knowing what they're doing and attacking the gap in the right way, reading things in the back field the right way.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_04]: You brought up the idea of playing games and blitzing the center so that the other guy can swing around and things like that.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_04]: These are the sort of things that depend on a communication, sometimes on spoke communication.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_04]: And Colais Campbell could do it.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_04]: Do you expect a rookie to do it?
- 17:39[SPEAKER_04]: not really not really.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_04]: Do you expect a particularly young one of the youngest rookies in the league in Jordan Phillips to do it?
- 17:48[SPEAKER_04]: Not really.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, but again, if Grant didn't blast Jordan Phillips on a play and allow an year.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, and but this is this is from top down from top now and you have I call it public accountability.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_04]: It's finger pointing.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I think we were did it all over the place today.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_01]: Even even Jordan Brooks caught a straight when he said on that reverse field thing, he's supposed to be parallel to the ball and have backside.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_01]: He's not supposed to go inside.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_04]: They're taking their cues.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_04]: The public accountability is the message of the head coach that that is that is his, his stick his style.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_04]: He is not afraid to to publicly call out players.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_04]: I think there are some players that do well with
- 18:34[SPEAKER_04]: Um, or it's not a joke, but you're all in on it, you know.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_04]: And then there are other players that don't do too well with it, you know, I don't think Jalen Ramsey was too into it.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_04]: You know, so, so I think that that's the style you take you to use from the head coach.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_04]: I think at first it didn't seem like Anthony Weaver was big into that, but you know, the defense there, they're now doing a lot of this, this, this attribution publicly.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_04]: And, and that's I think that that can be dangerous, particularly when you're losing.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_04]: But this is a one in three team we're we're seeing all the hallmarks of a bad team of one in three team We're seeing all the finger pointing to you know this guy didn't do it right in that play this guy didn't do it right in this play that you know that
- 19:20[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I just cook, I don't buy the groceries.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_04]: Well, our starting corners are none of them were here at the start of training camp.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_04]: So actually, we as coaches should be congratulated for them playing as well as you've stated that they are injuries, injuries, injuries, injuries, what about this?
- 19:41[SPEAKER_04]: What about the play calling here?
- 19:42[SPEAKER_04]: What about the commitment to the run that wasn't there?
- 19:44[SPEAKER_04]: What about the, it's just laundry list.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_04]: Right, of all this finger pointing and all this, you know, doing airing out your dirty laundry and public.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_04]: And that's the hallmark of a bad team.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_04]: And it's a bad defense right now.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_04]: The hallmark of a bad defenses when a badly staffed defense is when everybody's taking turns doing it wrong.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_04]: And they are everybody's taking turns doing it wrong.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, and on the all 22, it just looks, it looks worse every time you just watch him.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_01]: It just, it looks worse than actually the performance, because for a, for a second there, you know, you're watching the broadcast, you know, and you're watching, you're essentially scoreboard watching, and every once in a while you take a peek at a guard or a tackle or you want to watch what one guy does on a certain play, and you look at the scoreboard, and you're like, man, the jets have 13 points.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_01]: And there's six minutes left in the game.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_01]: So obviously this defense is played well.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_01]: Then you throw on the all 22 and it's discouraging to say the least.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_01]: Let's do at least a couple of minutes before we go to break here on the Carolina Panthers offense.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_01]: They're on their third guard.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_01]: Stop me whatever you've heard this before.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_01]: His name is Brady Christensen.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe that helps.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_01]: They have a ton of injuries on the offensive line.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_01]: Tell him what tone's going to be back.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_01]: So he's going to be fine.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_01]: Tackle millions of great player.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_01]: Chippe a Hubbard.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_01]: He's not going to play.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_01]: He has a calf injury.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_01]: He hasn't practiced all week.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_01]: He's not going to play.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_01]: So it'll be Rico Dautal.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_01]: Dautal.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_01]: or, I don't know how to say, it's not, it's last night.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_01]: It's a capitalist, it's a former capitalist guy wreaked out.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Rico, Dallittal, whatever, Xavier LaGuez is off to a terrible start.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_01]: He had a really good line the other day in an availability.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_01]: He says, look, trust me, I'm not the worst wide receiver in the NFL, which is self-deprecating, but he's, he's fun to listen to in an interview.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_01]: is this and let's do a minute on this before we go to break.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_01]: Start with you Simon.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_01]: Is this what the doctor ordered?
- 21:50[SPEAKER_01]: It's a wounded team missing some of their best players.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_01]: Job a hovered by the really good player.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_01]: Missing some of the best players and a quarterback who is quite frankly not been good.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_01]: It's help on the way Simon on Sunday.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, look that's
- 22:09[SPEAKER_03]: They had that they want to free same as us, the long wind, they, you know, they want 30 to nothing.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but they were embarrassed last week of the Patriots.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_03]: And in many regards, they're in a similar boat to us in terms of corebacks.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_03]: There are pretty much crossroads and maybe a bit past that crossroads.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_03]: You know, they've got the house on.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_03]: on the young being their French high school bank, but they can't, they need to be confident in their search branches.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_03]: Don't forget, this is a team that traded two first routers, two second routers, and the E.J.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_03]: wants the bears, but the ability to pick him, you know, and they'd obviously been kind of overly motivated to find a quarterback after, you know, and told me, could make a field in San Donald, you're not going to have the same time, but that kind of caught about purgatory since,
- 22:56[SPEAKER_03]: since came near the left that the return on investment obviously hasn't materialized.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_03]: You know, but other teams have kind of pushed back on the Panthers' process, I think, and they, you know, they paid an extremely hard price of wearing out for a player who, you know, was undersized.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_03]: And there's been a lot of pressure to make that big work beyond the obvious if he'd been in a one-pick, you know, CJ Strauss suddenly was in the central study delivered.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_03]: in that rookie year that Panthers fired Frank Rank in that in his rookie season, Scott Fittre of the GM was five after the season.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_03]: One of the picks they traded the following year, turned out to be Caleb Williams, but it could have been Jayden Daniels, Drake May, they're among the, you know, the first six quarterbacks that were available.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_03]: So it's kind of understandable why the Panthers are now at this kind of point that they're at, sort of feeling of desperation trying to make it work.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_03]: So while they've invested in the offensive line, obviously they took
- 23:50[SPEAKER_03]: in Rob Hunt.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Rob Hunt, thank you.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_03]: And he's back in fact first of all, I picked some on my receivers and to that in technical milleners, has been excellent so far this season.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_03]: But it's also why they hate they hired Dave Canale, as you know, you go back into his history and the work that he did with Baker, the work that he did with Gina Smith.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_03]: So I think that young will probably get a runway to try and turn it around, but the season starts the season is,
- 24:20[SPEAKER_03]: He played pretty well on a stretch last year, one four of 10, but you know, the completion percentage was decent, the touchdowns were decent, but it's actually, you know, just about 60% of completion percentage, five touchdowns, three picks, couple of fun balls, he's 30th in EPA, ahead of Jake Browning and Cam Ward.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, it's a lot on his shoulders and I think, you know, if you have a calm go and it doesn't look like it's going to be able to, and I think that's an absolutely boon for it for a Dolphins team.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_03]: We're probably going to take a little bit of, um,
- 24:54[SPEAKER_03]: little bit of a smoke from Monday night in the performance.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_03]: Their January was better and they won and hopefully they can inflict another defeat and inexplicably sort of move to two and three as we go forwards.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_03]: But offensively for the purpose, it starts and finishes with Bryce Sharpe, who ironically, probably had his best game as a pro against us in Miami a couple of seasons ago.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_03]: So which Bryce Young will we get on Sunday?
- 25:22[SPEAKER_04]: I'm Jalen Phillips, and you're listening to three yards per carry.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_04]: The one thing that I would caution about the Carolina Panthers, and this is heading into this, heading into this actually heading into last week, because I did expect to win against the jets.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_04]: I thought about this coming week against the Panthers, and if the dolphins do
- 25:51[SPEAKER_04]: Um, would they be so relieved and have after having been, you know, so, um, you know, straining so hard to try and get that win, would they kind of be under the false impression that they fixed it, that they fixed their problems, that, you know, and then, and then that could set up for a true, you know, they had, they were talking about the jets as if that
- 26:20[SPEAKER_04]: and both teams were Owen 3.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_04]: You know, the dolphins were the, for the first three games the season, the dolphins were probably the worst team in the league.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_04]: There's no team out there that is a trap, that is a trap opponent for the dolphins.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_04]: There's no team out there that they have to be careful not to underestimate.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, that is not a thing when you were Owen 3.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_04]: It's not a thing when you're one in 3 either.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_04]: So I think that I do have a little bit of issue with the idea that they could.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_04]: head up to Carolina thinking, okay, we got our first win, we got it fixed, let's just stack those wins now.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_04]: They're looking ahead at the schedule, everybody's doing, they're looking on well, that's probably a win, that's probably a win, that's why I'm mapping out a way for them to get back into 500, you know, stuff like, I think that you get ahead of themselves in this game.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_04]: And this is the game to do it because the one home game that the Carolina
- 27:18[SPEAKER_04]: was that 30, nothing went against the Falcons.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_04]: That's the one-home game they've played.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_04]: They've lost all three of the other ones on the road.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, well, where are we playing this game?
- 27:28[SPEAKER_04]: We're playing this in our house.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_04]: So, if home away has anything to do with it, then this could be a better of Panthers team than we think.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_04]: Then we think.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_04]: But the monkey wrench and all that is the loss of tirey kill.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_04]: What does that do to the locker room's mentality?
- 27:45[SPEAKER_04]: The viewing effect, you're familiar with it, right?
- 27:48[SPEAKER_04]: So if anything is going to keep the team humble and working, it's the loss of a superstar like him
- 28:02[SPEAKER_04]: That makes them say, okay, we really all better be on top of it, you know, because we have to take up the slack from losing Tyreq Hill.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_04]: And so I would have had it into this game, thinking that this is a trap game for the dolphins, and they could easily lose this one.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_04]: But I think oddly and ironically, the loss of Tyreq Hill may have prevented that.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_04]: may have prevented the sort of laxinatical mentality that could have contributed to that.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_04]: So I do think that the dolphins like are going to have, you know, listen, that the Carolina Panthers are a three-wide receiver team and the dolphins defense has been terrible at three-wide receiver.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_04]: You know, if the issue there is that the Carolina Panthers are a terrible three-wide receiver team, you know, they have not produced
- 28:52[SPEAKER_04]: You know, in the passing game that way, and so you ask is this the is this the just just what the doctor ordered in some ways, yes, in some ways, absolutely, this is this is what the doctor ordered, this is a tailor made team for the dolphins to just go ahead and beat even with the issues that they've had this year.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_04]: It's a matter of whether they were going to come in with the correct mentality and and work to do it.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_04]: And before the loss of Tyre Cal, I would question that, but now after the loss of Tyre Cal, I don't.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_01]: Moving on to when the dolphins have the football.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_01]: I think we know the way forward.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_01]: Now, they signed,
- 29:43[SPEAKER_01]: I like how they came out and they said you had a minor procedure, but he's gonna be ready next week.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_01]: He's gonna be ready next week
- 29:53[SPEAKER_04]: So the most consistent team in the industry.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so they have a couple of moves that they have to make.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_01]: I guess Taj Washington, it's his show at the back end, you know.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, I think the way forward, they kind of showed you, you know, it's a lot, it's kind of back to the future.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's what they were good at in 22 and 23 minus Tyre Kill.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_01]: uh, to a can play efficient in that regard, as long as they run the football, I guess they're back to that.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_01]: But I look at the, uh, the car on the Panthers and one thing just sticks out like a sore thumb.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_01]: They're really good up the middle at defensive tackle, but they're bad at linebacker.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_01]: So this is going to be about, and I'll start with you Simon, this is going to be about stretching them horizontally, and stressing those linebackers, right?
- 30:45[SPEAKER_01]: And trying to at least render those defensive tackles if not useless, ineffective.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_01]: for the game.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, it was a text up.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, don't brown is a, you know, is having an outstanding season already.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_03]: Four, five, four games in, and that's the strength of the defense.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_03]: You talk about some of the young guys.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_03]: It's clear that Nick Scott is going to be a really good player.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_01]: And Warren's a really good player, but he's on the injury report.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_01]: He might not play, so that's another, another feather in the dolphins cap, possibly.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_03]: And obviously, you know, in the secondary J.C.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_03]: of all my health years, there's a good reason to lead not call Patrick Sattar.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_03]: They've got driven more and on the back end as well, so you know like you say it's there's perimeter zone runs and really stressing those guys at playing it line back at the outside guys, well that's Rose Boone or you know Trigger and Wallace or D.J.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_03]: One and I think that's the important thing.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_03]: We talked about that we talked about the blueprint on Monday night and that's run the ball run the ball run the ball run the ball and the dolphins aren't doing that Chris then you know we've got a serious problem because I think moving forwards without
- 31:49[SPEAKER_04]: You know, I wonder because because if there's one thing that next garden can do, um, it is, and it is stopped the run and it is stopped the run on the outside.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, he's a, he's a powerful, I think he's a powerful big guy.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_04]: And so I kind of, I kind of wonder if actually running between despite dark brown.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_04]: running between the tackles could actually be a big key here, you know, in which means not to buy an HM.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_04]: You know, it could, it makes me wonder if this is the game where they actually do need to get all the Gordon.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_04]: going in order to to to to actually beat this team up.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_04]: Um, I don't want to falsely, you know, everybody everybody will say that I've game, but I do think that this could be the game where it's actually the most important looking at the linebackers and looking at the edges.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_04]: I I get what you're saying like get it to the outside out, but I think that I think that
- 32:51[SPEAKER_04]: they might have some ability to prevent that, especially the way that defenses have been doing that against Miami for a couple of years now.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_04]: So, and the real wild card for me is, to me, the jets didn't play, you know, there is starting to be a recipe for success against Miami's offense, right?
- 33:14[SPEAKER_04]: We talked at Nazim about it over the last couple of years, right?
- 33:21[SPEAKER_04]: to me like that wasn't that wasn't their game plan.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_04]: So so I kind of wonder, okay, what happens?
- 33:29[SPEAKER_04]: I think the Panthers will and so I think the question becomes, can can we overcome that?
- 33:36[SPEAKER_04]: Can we overcome that?
- 33:37[SPEAKER_04]: What's the new formula that actually allows that to happen?
- 33:41[SPEAKER_04]: And I can't help but think that that has something to do with Ollie Gordon pounding the ball knee, you know,
- 33:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, a zero, a zero old school, cover six guy from the Vic Van Geotree.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_01]: So you got to figure there's going to be a lot of zone.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_01]: He's not going to do what Aaron Glenn tried to do last week, which is trying to match up in man on third down and playing right into it.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_04]: It was almost no, it was almost no.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_04]: I get that it's their identity as a team and as you don't want to fight that.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_04]: But Miami's identity as an offense is to do well against that and do poorly against that.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_04]: You know, so you would think that you'd be like, well, I'm not gonna do this.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_04]: I'm gonna do that instead, you know, and I think that this is a case where Carolina is going to employ the formula that has worked against Miami's offense, particularly on the road when they're on the road.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_04]: And we'll see if they overcome it.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_04]: It's not a great team, so maybe they will.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_01]: All right, it's time to pick it.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_01]: I'll go first, some PFF numbers suggest that Carolina is the second worst team defending outside zone while Miami is the second best team running outside zone.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_01]: Miami is second as a third down offense and one of the worst third down defenses in all a football.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_01]: So it's going to be hoove them to win on first down, run the ball on first down, stick to all those run actions and just win.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_01]: Like I said last week, I didn't think that they were ready to blow out the the jets and they had an opportunity, but you could tell that they were like, you know, let's just, let's just win this game.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_01]: you know, instead of pressing any of the action here.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_01]: So they played for that field goal light.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that they're ready to blow out anybody right now.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_01]: The defense is an extreme working progress.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_01]: So be prepared to be bored.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_01]: But I think that they keep their three touch-down streak going.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_01]: They score 27 and Bryce Young scores 21 and they get an identical score to the
- 35:57[SPEAKER_01]: Panthers 21, what's the use, Simon?
- 35:58[SPEAKER_01]: That's 24-19 dolphins.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_04]: I do not think the Dolphins score in that realm.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_04]: I think that this ends up something like a 1710 ball game with the Dolphins coming out ahead.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think the offense is going to do particularly well.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_04]: That's the part that I would doubt.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_04]: I think that we're reached a point this season.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_04]: We're actually at the defense is going to start to firm up a little bit.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_04]: Again, some of these opponents, particularly the Carolina Panthers, as I said, Miami has his bat against three-wide receiver.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_04]: What is the doctor order for that?
- 36:39[SPEAKER_04]: Go against a team that can't really pass very well out of three-wide receiver and who's made your running back is not going to play.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_04]: So I think that the Carolina Panthers offense is going to have a very poor performance against Miami in this game.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_04]: But I also don't see the dolphins offense keeping up any kind of momentum against Everrow's divots.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_01]: All right, and we said that we were going to pick this game.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_01]: So we will do it.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_01]: And the game wasn't ruined people.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_01]: Just because both teams are not undefeated FSU Miami.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_01]: That's on Saturday night at 7 30 PM Eastern.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be a ton of fun.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody who thinks that.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I first you lost to Virginia.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_01]: FSU is plenty talented.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_01]: They have a good offensive line.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_01]: This game is going to be tight.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_01]: And I got Miami by a fuel goal, 26, 23.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_01]: Simon, your thoughts on this game Saturday night.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_03]: I think if for to say, get pressure on Carson Beck, I think I'll make it difficult, but I think
- 37:50[SPEAKER_03]: You know, you've got to look at the best player in college football, so far this year.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_03]: I think in terms of power for power and ability and that's, I think that's been really amazing.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_03]: And unless the Nulls have a plan to shut him down, I think that probably that pressure, if that pressure will get to Tommy Castellanos.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_03]: He can escape pressure down the pocket, then that's a different matter altogether, but I suspect the hurricanes will win, but the atmosphere will be wild, road game, colour-hassing will always be difficult to go on table, I think the can's will probably just do it.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_01]: All right, Chris.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I think that the hurricane steam that I've seen in a couple of occasions, especially I saw them against South Florida, obviously, but I saw them in a couple of other games.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_04]: That hurricane steam that I saw is the best team in college football in my opinion.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_04]: And so I think that no rivalry game is against Florida State.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_04]: So I think you're right to say that, but also I think
- 38:52[SPEAKER_01]: pretty decently ahead of you and we'll leave it there by the way, first odds came out for the first overall pick in April and did you guys see who's number one, the favorite.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_01]: I did.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_01]: Well, the thing you guys, I guess you could break the news to the Simon and, and I, I know who it is, but say it.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's Dante more.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_04]: It's the odd's favorite
- 39:20[SPEAKER_03]: was interesting is that I saw Dame Brugleta on Tuesday this week, say that according to Moore's the people around, or they are in absolutely no rush to go to the NFL.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_03]: I would be very surprised who goes to the NFL.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_03]: I think we are treating name for me in terms of quarterback, I mean,
- 39:43[SPEAKER_03]: Mendoza has kind of been around the octet, even in the offseason sellers.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think sellers will come out and Mendoza can potentially go back.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_03]: The interesting name for me is Tyson, so that's a banner.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_03]: I think he's playing really, really well.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_03]: And I thought it was performance against George the other night was outstanding.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_03]: But he's only started four games.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_03]: The flip side of that is he's already 23, because he's obviously sat on the bench for three years behind the guys he sat behind J. Limelroe, etc etc.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_03]: So,
- 40:10[SPEAKER_03]: I think Tysips has played well.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_03]: I think that would be quite a big, you know, I think that would be quite a big change.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_03]: We're seeing a lot of names that are being kind of pebbled around, you know, when it comes to the offensive line, I mean, a mock today is a Canadian proctor at nine and I say a world early and it's just like those things don't really
- 40:30[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not sure those things are matching up with what's being played out, that the Utah tackles I thought are generally like them, back where they looked really poor against Bailey and like I said, Texas tack a couple of weeks ago and they didn't play well at all and yeah, it'll be interesting.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, don't think I was obviously the hot name but I do not see them coming out.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_03]: Well, just why would you, you know, that Nike body will, you know, you'll earn as much pretty much next year as you would do if you can.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_03]: You know, when it's the NFL white white by having a pressure when you still got extra eligibility to play for arguably what will be the defending national champions or a T that will go to the national championship because it looks like, you know,
- 41:14[SPEAKER_04]: You know, I actually, I actually do wonder Simon about, you know, we've talked about material, as well, at Oklahoma, does he come out?
- 41:23[SPEAKER_04]: Does he not come out?
- 41:24[SPEAKER_04]: I tend to think that guys will give their new team two years.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_04]: And when they, when they go do that, but at the same time, all that could be dependent on how things go, if Oklahoma manages to hold serve while he's out.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_04]: you know, um, which I understand it's going to be a tough task because I don't for example, I don't know if he's going to be able to play against Texas like what what it says what does this outlook look like like how how how how long he's going to be out.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_01]: They said a month.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_01]: They said a month.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_01]: They said a month a week ago.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_03]: Looks like a lot of the next week.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_03]: Now, really.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_04]: So, if he is able to play against Texas, if he is able to play against Ole Miss, if he does, in other words, what I'm saying is, with the schedule that they have, if he's able to come back and time to blaze through it, he doesn't have a reason to come back anymore.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_04]: You know, like he will have accomplished too much at Oklahoma and will be on the other side of things.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_04]: We'll be like, you know, yeah, I'm just going to come out.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_01]: One thing on John material that I think is, is, I, I, I glossed over it, but now going back into my memory bank, remember he was Miami's first choice, Carson bank was back was actually their second choice, they talked about a two year NIL commitment and as soon as they were pushing that in the media that it was going to be record numbers two year NIL commitment, John material,
- 42:51[SPEAKER_01]: All of a sudden committed to alcohol.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_03]: The one thing I would say about that is don't forget who the general manager is at Oklahoma.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_03]: Jim nagging now from there's been heading up the scene of it for many, many years.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_03]: And awful lot of NFL connections and awful lot of NFL experience.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_03]: A naggy straight talker.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_03]: He will tell material.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_03]: and he will be able to give him to all the feedback, all the information that he needs.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_03]: And he's another one that I don't think needs to necessarily have to flip side, obviously, you know, you're gonna look around and see Carson back two years ago, look like the default number one pick and then kind of really difficult year with Georgia saying this year with Drew Aller, you know, people are talking about, you know, if Aller, Scouts are saying, if Aller come out and he's gonna go on the top 10.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_03]: He's at a very disappointing start of the year and he's three of the four games he's played and he's not been very good at all.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't think he was very good the other night.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_03]: I think people all always fall for the six foot five, 200 of the eight pound dial with a big arm, but you know, I would be strictly by the way when it came to Durala.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_03]: So there is that for dials that material and more, you know, if Dante more wins the highest, for example, does he have a lot more to prove?
- 44:02[SPEAKER_03]: But then, you know, there's nothing wrong with, you know,
- 44:07[SPEAKER_04]: Well, what I would say about the two of them is all things being equal if Dante more has the run.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_04]: You know, makes the run through the playoffs and such and such, or if John material makes the run through the playoffs, if they were, you know, hypothetically, if material did it, I think material comes out hypothetically, if Dante more makes the run, I don't think that necessarily means he comes out like I think I think he is as you say, they're not in a hurry and he is young enough and and he's going to look to so I think that the, the,
- 44:42[SPEAKER_04]: A lead level success would mean that material probably does come out at the wrong.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_04]: I wouldn't say the same about them anymore, but I think that this is going to be we're going to be talking about probably the guys that we've been talking about, that we don't get that excited about, which is like Garrett, Newspire, and Drew Allar, you know, Drew Allar needs to be in a spread offense.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_04]: I think.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_04]: But no, I think that this is going to be the same old same old kind of names.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_04]: It's not going to be in Laura Sellers.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_04]: It's not going to be, it probably won't be Mendoza, you know, I think that he's another one of those that could sneak you stay back in school.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_04]: So the more, you know, the more we go on, the more I wonder if it's going to be kind of not a boring list because I think there are exciting players in there.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_04]: Does anybody really get excited about Newspare, Newspire, at number one?
- 45:50[SPEAKER_04]: I don't.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, Ruben Bain, by the way, 14 to one.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_01]: That's kind of interesting to me.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to call it right here on Monday when we talk to you.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_01]: We will know results of both games and maybe we'll talk about both games.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_01]: And maybe we'll have a two and three professional football team head back home.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_01]: Ready to face the Chargers Team coming out east, who's had no success coming out east, for a the first big game of the season, I guess?
- 46:20[SPEAKER_01]: But, till then.
