- 0:00Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the three OT where we talk all
- 0:05things Major League Baseball. Here's Kyle Corwin and Nate
- 0:10Reyes. It all starts right now.
- 0:16Welcome back to the three OT presented by Sea Kick.
- 0:18This is episode 453. I'll be your host, Kyle Corden,
- 0:22and I'm here with my Co host, Nate Reyes.
- 0:24Nate. A surprise welcome back.
- 0:27I don't think anybody knew, but look at people joining in live.
- 0:30Look at that shout out back. To back days, back-to-back days,
- 0:35emergency pod, bonus pod Well, I mean, it's it's episode 450.
- 0:39It's a real pod yeah, it's a real pod.
- 0:41It's not a bonus pod, but. Yeah, I I personally feel
- 0:45better. I feel, I feel glad that this is
- 0:47happening. I did not bring the juice
- 0:49yesterday, so I want to apologize to everybody.
- 0:51I was rocking like 4 hours of sleep.
- 0:52I think I talked about Robbie Ray still being on the Mariners.
- 0:56You did that. That actually was that last
- 0:59episode of the episode of Five. I don't know.
- 1:00I don't know. It's been one big.
- 1:03I think sleep, I think that was two episodes ago and somebody
- 1:06called you out and said a little bit of an oopsie on the Robbie
- 1:11Ray on the Mariners thing. He was with the.
- 1:13Giants, you know, he pitches like 30 like 30 innings a year
- 1:17now. So I just, I just forgot, you
- 1:19know? Well, not that we are going to
- 1:20talk about Robbie Ray on this episode, but did Ricochet
- 1:23excellent. He had an excellent season debut
- 1:26so I think, I think an an apology is in order, but.
- 1:30I'll leave that. I'll leave that to you and
- 1:34yours. All right, the plan here, we say
- 1:38this a lot and it never happens. The plan is to keep this
- 1:42somewhat relatively short just to get you a little Dylan cease
- 1:48no hitter talk in before the weekend.
- 1:50So if you're listening to this right now, after the fact, if
- 1:53you're not with us in the live, if you're listening to this
- 1:55after the fact, you can probably look down at the time stamp and
- 1:57see how we did. Let us know let like how did how
- 2:03did we do from the from the future tell us how we did.
- 2:07Who's to really say if we're going to be able to keep this
- 2:09thing short or not? That's the plan.
- 2:11Just sneak in a little pod right before the weekend.
- 2:15Pod. We'll see how we do.
- 2:19Dylan C Snow hitter, I texted you when this happened.
- 2:23Well, actually I texted you after the Mason Miller injury
- 2:27update came through and I was like what?
- 2:29Something to the effect of like classic major news happening the
- 2:33day after we record and not to mention.
- 2:36That time of year, yeah. It was it was a day after we
- 2:41recorded heading into a weekend, which always sucks because it's
- 2:44like if this would have happened on Monday till.
- 2:47Monday. You know what?
- 2:48I. Mean, right, Like if we would
- 2:50have, if we would have recorded Sunday and this happens Monday,
- 2:53it's like, all right, we'll get to Wednesday, but when you
- 2:55record Wednesday and it happens Thursday and you got to wait
- 2:58till Sunday. No one wants that.
- 3:01Nobody wants to start their week looking that far back.
- 3:05Regardless how big the event is, Even if something as big as a no
- 3:09hitter, they're going to be like, we've already we've
- 3:11already listened to our our podcasts and other takes on
- 3:15these things. So we don't really care what you
- 3:18have to say. So we got ahead of the curve
- 3:21here and said we're going to give it to you day off.
- 3:26How about that? It's been six hours, four hours.
- 3:35Yeah, four to six hours, five, maybe five hours since it
- 3:38happened. I mean, that's that's pretty
- 3:39good, but let let's talk about it.
- 3:42Dylan CS no hitter, the second no hitter of the year, the first
- 3:50Padres no hitter since Joe Musgrove back in 2021.
- 3:56There was some this was a this was an interesting no hitter.
- 3:59I'm not going to lie. Like there were some things at
- 4:01play. Some just funny baseball things
- 4:05that happened there was those those classic.
- 4:08I'm going to be honest that that I think your boy Bogart's
- 4:11almost. I was going to say, I was going
- 4:14to say I was just about to say there was those classic no
- 4:16hitter, like make you a little nervous type plays.
- 4:21Yeah, pretty much solely fell on Zaner Bogart's I think like two
- 4:25or three times. So yeah, yeah, I'm glad glad we
- 4:28didn't. He didn't cost him there, but
- 4:32the Louis Arise thing I thought was I thought was funny because
- 4:36if you remember back in 2022, two seasons ago, I believe Cease
- 4:46came within one out of a no hitter and none other than Luis
- 4:50Arise was the man to break it up, who is now his teammate.
- 4:56And I don't know if you saw it, but he actually gave him the
- 4:59ball after the fact, which I thought was I thought that was
- 5:02pretty cool. I hate, I'd absolutely hate that
- 5:06it had to happen in DC on a weekday.
- 5:09Yeah, with like, I don't know, a few dozen people there.
- 5:12Maybe six fans in the stands, not not really wild about that,
- 5:18but, you know, no hitters and no hitters.
- 5:19So I, I don't want to, I don't want to take anything away from
- 5:22him by any stretch, but not exactly the the ideal setting,
- 5:27you know? Yeah, yeah, this is what it is.
- 5:32Like you, I'll take it. I would take it.
- 5:34How about my guy? Was that 94 pitches after 7?
- 5:41That sounds right. He finished with 114 I think.
- 5:45He said in his interview this season high was 113, which is
- 5:50it's weird to me how much of like this season high plays into
- 5:56like that's my ceiling for the, you know what I'm saying?
- 6:00Like that I did it before this. You're like what?
- 6:03Like you've been in the big leagues for years.
- 6:05Like I think I think it's OK if you go, Oh no, my high was 102,
- 6:12but I went 117. Like what?
- 6:15I hate the pitch count thing. I'm so over that.
- 6:18But overall dope that he talked his way into it to stay.
- 6:23Yeah. Was there like a there was a
- 6:24conversation had between him and Shilt, correct?
- 6:27I think he said in his interview, or at least, or Cilla
- 6:30was like, hey, like there was like a, there was like a hand,
- 6:33like a your day is done kind of handshake.
- 6:36So he talked his way into it, man.
- 6:38And I, I think it really, I don't know how much it helped.
- 6:42I'd like to be a fly on the wall if like having like Joe Musgrove
- 6:46in the dugout kind of, you know, just one other guy in there
- 6:51that's done it, especially for an organization that doesn't
- 6:55have them exactly stacked up, you know what I mean?
- 7:00I don't know, they they panned at Musgrove a handful of times
- 7:03and it looked like homie was just keeping to his own.
- 7:07He probably he I mean, I would imagine he probably understand.
- 7:10I mean, most people in the dugout probably understand that
- 7:14that element to it to just kind of, yeah, keep, keep to your
- 7:18keep to yourself for the time being.
- 7:19But I think I'm, I'm sure at at points throughout the game,
- 7:22Musgrove was like, yo, let's, let's dial it in here.
- 7:26Yeah, then I know I'm in the minority here.
- 7:29I'm a shield guy. I I like shield in in in Saint
- 7:33Louis. I I thought it was silly that he
- 7:35got fired. He just seems like a brick wall
- 7:39kind of guy, you know what I mean?
- 7:40Like he seems like he's a very much player first kind of
- 7:44priority. So I, I love that I any
- 7:49opportunity where a manager can almost throw the script away and
- 7:54just kind of feel the pulse of the game and feel like feel out
- 7:57of his guy. That's good.
- 7:59That's a good thing. So job well done.
- 8:03Job well done by shield. A lot of sliders.
- 8:06I think I saw he threw like 60 sliders like a.
- 8:10Lot. Yeah, there was a lot of.
- 8:11Fastballs. Something like that.
- 8:14Finished with nine strikeouts, so a fair amount of swing and
- 8:17miss throughout. I went back, I mean, I was I was
- 8:21a little busy with work today, so I wasn't able to catch the
- 8:24the game in its entirety. As I would imagine probably most
- 8:27people, whenever these types of things happen, it's usually like
- 8:30a hey, let's let's TuneIn and like the 7th or 8th and then
- 8:34watch it from here on out, which is kind of where I was at.
- 8:37But again, that's what most people do because you see that
- 8:39you see the notification pop up on the on the on the scoreboard,
- 8:43you get the text updates. That's just how these things
- 8:47happen. So I was kind of right there
- 8:49with everybody else. But from what I did see, did not
- 8:54seem to lose much life late in the game.
- 8:57I think in it was it in the ninth?
- 8:59He had 100 on his. Was it his hundredth pitch
- 9:03somewhere? Like somewhere right around that
- 9:05threshold. It was a punch out, wasn't it?
- 9:06Topped out at 100, I believe. Yeah, some at some point there
- 9:11in the 9th. But yeah, job well done.
- 9:16I'm glad to see that that Speaking of Shelt, that he was
- 9:20able to kind of relinquish that a little bit, let him let him
- 9:23go, give him the leash to at least go out there and fight for
- 9:28that opportunity to to earn that feat.
- 9:32I think the the I. Think it was CJ Abrams that
- 9:36lined out for the final out right to right.
- 9:39Yeah, that one made me a little nervous.
- 9:40I. Think it made him nervous?
- 9:42You see his reaction, the second alpha contact, he's like, Oh no.
- 9:45Yeah, yeah. And So what I, I was trying to
- 9:50remember why I was bringing up like my point about, oh, I tuned
- 9:55into the 7th because I did that. I had to go back and I went back
- 9:58and watched the full 27 outs thing like I, I do for most of
- 10:01these no hitter perfect game type things.
- 10:04And I noticed earlier in the game that CJ Abrams also put a
- 10:10charge into one out to write even like, yeah, harder and, and
- 10:15further than the final out of the game.
- 10:17And I'm like, that one probably made him a little nervous.
- 10:20But at that point, I don't know if you're really, yeah, thinking
- 10:23along those lines. So I'm sure the the final out
- 10:25made him a little more nervous. But those like we talked about
- 10:31those Xander plays, man, I mean, yeesh.
- 10:35The the bobble in center field was crazy.
- 10:38That one was the weirdest 1 to me and it is quite literally
- 10:45like the exact definition of like an outfielder being in the
- 10:48right spot and coming in on a ball when you should just a
- 10:53funky play there. The weird like glove side in the
- 10:5735 hole like just batted around real quick.
- 11:01Like had it in the transfer then that was weird man.
- 11:05I don't he still got some zip on it to get him out and it was by
- 11:08like 1/2 step. All right, so let's play umpire
- 11:12here a little bit. That ball that he bobbled, it
- 11:16ends up in Jackson Merrill's glove.
- 11:20Let's play it. Let's play devil's advocate
- 11:22here, umpires. Devil's, devil's advocate, If he
- 11:27bobbles that ball, let's say Jackson Merrill like lunges, He
- 11:32sees the ball in midair. Jackson tries to get a hand on
- 11:35it, like a bare hand or something, drops it.
- 11:38What are what are we? Because you got to remember you.
- 11:41Well, you got to remember, though, this year has been very,
- 11:44very peculiar in terms of, of scoring and rulings on hits and
- 11:48errors. So like, do we think that that
- 11:51ball would have been ruled a hit if Xander, Bob, he's going back
- 11:55for it, Bob's a little bit maybe, like I said, Jackson
- 11:57maybe gets a finger on it or something in an effort to catch
- 12:00it barehanded and it falls to the ground.
- 12:03I think they've. Given him a hit on that, yeah.
- 12:06Yeah, and a brutal way to give that up.
- 12:10Brutal way. But I was thinking like imagine
- 12:13Bang Bang play on the other Xander play at first and like
- 12:17called out on field review to be safe.
- 12:20Like imagine losing a no hitter that way.
- 12:25That would suck. That I mean that play that
- 12:28you're referring to that's a heck of a play though, like I, I
- 12:34watched it back a few times and I maybe if you're watching it
- 12:37live ago oh like that's a great recovery, but like no, if you
- 12:39actually go back and look. That's not easy to do.
- 12:42That the, the, the transfer or, or basically just like being
- 12:46able to get a hand on the ball in a position to throw it and
- 12:51beat him by a step. That is a very difficult thing
- 12:54to do. And you have to imagine that
- 12:55there's a degree of luck at play there because like if that ball,
- 13:00if that ball is off by like a degree that bounces off his
- 13:04thumb and rolls to the foul line like or, or whichever direction
- 13:07it was going. But that, I mean that, and
- 13:10that's what we talked about with these no hitters, there's always
- 13:13something. Yeah, I'd have one or two weird,
- 13:16weird things. You got to have one or two plays
- 13:19that are a little dicey. Yeah.
- 13:21And unfortunately, my guy Zander was, was at the at the center of
- 13:27both of them. Yeah.
- 13:29But he hung on man he. He that's.
- 13:31It happened. We're good.
- 13:32We're good, you know. We're in the clear.
- 13:36I felt super. Oh, OK, keep going.
- 13:38No, no, no, go ahead, Go ahead. I just had some.
- 13:40I had some. I was.
- 13:41I thought it was hilarious that Patrick Corbin actually diced
- 13:48like one one of his like best starts.
- 13:52I think he went 7 innings with like 7 punches like that's
- 13:56that's such a good start for him.
- 14:00And of course, it takes a no hitter to wash it away.
- 14:04OK, well, it's funny you brought that up.
- 14:06It's funny you brought that up. Hold on.
- 14:09I need to. I need to confirm here.
- 14:15Hold on. I got to tread lightly here.
- 14:19Hold on. What do you got?
- 14:24Hold on, what was the date of OK, we're not trying to get
- 14:34look, we are not going to get political on this podcast, but I
- 14:37need to say something because it's it's it's too funny, not
- 14:42funny. Funny is not the right word.
- 14:43It's too. Coincidental.
- 14:47I don't know what you're talking about.
- 14:49It's it's too interesting to ignore, I'll say that.
- 14:53July 13th, the date of the assassination attempt on
- 15:00President Donald Trump. Patrick Corbin.
- 15:05Diced. Widely, widely known Trump
- 15:09supporter. The memes were flying around.
- 15:12They said we're going to see a second-half from Patrick Corbin
- 15:15like we've never seen before. He's going to become the best
- 15:17pitcher in baseball. That was July 13th.
- 15:21In his two starts since that day, July 19th, 6 innings, 1
- 15:30earned run allowed, six punches for 21 fantasy points.
- 15:33I'm, I'm just mentioning this because I, I pulled it up on
- 15:36fantasy. And then today, 7 innings, only
- 15:40three earned runs allowed, seven KS for 13 fantasy points.
- 15:44We haven't seen that from Patrick Corbin since like a
- 15:48month or two ago. Yeah, that's tough.
- 15:50That's that's kind of what we're dealing with here over over
- 15:53there with Patrick Corbin. Look, I, like I said, I'm not
- 15:56getting political. I just you mentioned the name.
- 15:59He pitched well today, pitched well on his last start.
- 16:01I had to mention it back to Dylan Sees though.
- 16:04The man who threw the no hitter. According to MLB Stat Muse, a
- 16:08tool that you and I very much appreciate and and use
- 16:11frequently. Dylan Sees is the first pitcher
- 16:14to record 6 plus innings pitched, 0 or one hits allowed,
- 16:19zero runs allowed, nine plus strikeouts in three straight
- 16:24starts. I can say I'll, I'll read that.
- 16:27Do it again. We'll do it one more time.
- 16:29All right, so in three straight starts, for the first time in
- 16:36MLB history, Dylan Sees is the first pitcher to record 6 plus
- 16:41innings pitched, zero or one hits allowed, zero runs allowed
- 16:49with 9 plus strikeouts. In each 19 punches.
- 16:54In each one, three straight starts.
- 16:56Wow, first in history. Codify.
- 17:00Codify the other account that we like.
- 17:02I'm going to go with Codify. I think we should just stick to
- 17:04that. Codify a complete list of every
- 17:08pitcher in MLB history to have a three start run with 25 plus
- 17:12strikeouts and only two hits allowed.
- 17:15Dylan Cease, 30 strikeouts, two hits.
- 17:19That's the list. Good month of July, some would
- 17:25say. That ain't bad.
- 17:31That ain't bad. I'm really psyched that I traded
- 17:35him in fantasy like a couple of months ago.
- 17:37I'm. Same.
- 17:39I'm really not regretting that decision at all.
- 17:41I I'm I'm glad I did. Same.
- 17:45Really glad I did. Any other thoughts on the on the
- 17:48no hitter? Like I said, I want to.
- 17:52I want to keep us, keep us somewhat brief here.
- 17:55I don't want to don't let our last pod for the weekend drag
- 18:00on. I liked all of it.
- 18:03I liked it very good cool for I mean, one could argue it's it's
- 18:10pretty cool that it that it happened on a Thursday afternoon
- 18:14game, you know, because it's like.
- 18:17I'm I'm not arguing that. You never know when stuff's
- 18:20going to happen, so just because it's a Thursday, tap in still,
- 18:24you know what I mean? Just because there's only a
- 18:26couple teams playing. No, I'm going to need you to.
- 18:29No, I'm going to need you to convince me a little, present a
- 18:34more convincing argument for why I should be excited that it
- 18:38happened on a Thursday afternoon in front of 12 people.
- 18:40Because I'm not. I'm not.
- 18:42I'm not buying it. Because you should watch, that's
- 18:45why. Because you never know.
- 18:48Be equipped. Be prepared, you never know.
- 18:53No, just like for once it'd be nice to see.
- 18:56I mean, when's the last time we've seen a no hitter?
- 18:58That happened in front of like a sell out crowd at home.
- 19:03It happened on the road on getaway day in front of six
- 19:08people. It's baseball, Susan, that.
- 19:14Believe me, I get it. But sometimes, sometimes
- 19:18baseball lets us down a little bit.
- 19:21If we're barking barking at you, maybe I should be barking at
- 19:24you. You live in the area.
- 19:25You could have gone take a day off from work.
- 19:28I couldn't. I had to sea start.
- 19:30I couldn't, I couldn't. I had to be a chaperone.
- 19:33We went on a little food tour in Richmond today.
- 19:35It was kind of nice. I was, I was stuffing my face
- 19:38with, with local eats and I just happened to look down.
- 19:43Oh, there's the no hitter update.
- 19:45I should maybe I should maybe TuneIn.
- 19:47And then I had to, I had to watch the rest of it on the bus
- 19:50ride home. We had New Zealand meat pies.
- 19:56Excellent, by the way. It doesn't sound good.
- 19:59It was great. It was great.
- 20:00It was like a giant quiche almost, but it was like a no.
- 20:04It was like a it was like a chicken pot pie.
- 20:08It was like a pie, but it had meat in it.
- 20:12It was a handheld. It was pork.
- 20:13Yeah. You ate it like a sandwich.
- 20:14Almost. We had those.
- 20:17We had half pound cookies. These things were huge.
- 20:23Dude, if you're ever at a place that offers half pound cookies,
- 20:28first of all, get one, But second of all, break it up.
- 20:33Break it up into two sittings, because you're not going to want
- 20:35to eat that all at once. And then you, I did and I, it
- 20:39was a big mistake. And so I'm passing on the wisdom
- 20:42that I have since gained from that experience to, to the rest
- 20:46of you. And then our next stop, we got
- 20:48some, some local pizza. I was told it was the best pizza
- 20:51in the city. And it was like, is there a
- 20:56Costco around? Because if there is, then Costco
- 20:59automatically has the best pizza in the city because this I don't
- 21:02know if this is it. And then our last stop, Chad
- 21:07says if anyone is offering any cookie, you'd take it with a
- 21:09smile. Oh, I took it with a smile,
- 21:11Chad, believe me, believe me. But it was the aftermath of it
- 21:15that I I regret it a little bit. Honestly, I think I'm still
- 21:18feeling a little bit like I. You're not a kid anymore, you
- 21:21know. Kyle's tummy ain't ain't doing.
- 21:25It's not too happy right now. And then our final stop was at a
- 21:30little little Taco spot and had some, had some, had a Taco or
- 21:36two there. So that was our word.
- 21:38That was our food tour. It was all it was all covered.
- 21:40It was great. I didn't have to spend a dime.
- 21:43It was actually. Someone say you you climbed a
- 21:46bigger mountain than Dylan sees today.
- 21:49You know, some it's being, it's being said.
- 21:52Yeah. You're saying it.
- 21:55Around the local Richmond I I I heard a lot of locals or certain
- 21:59a. Lot of a lot of locals.
- 22:01I heard some some grumblings from like around the corners.
- 22:04I didn't want to follow up and ask because I didn't want to
- 22:06make it about me, but I did hear it so.
- 22:09Just going down to Richmond, breaking records.
- 22:13I mean, some you. I think you're you.
- 22:15You're right on it, man. I put up a better performance
- 22:19than Dylan C did today. Nobody.
- 22:21Nobody's asking how I'm feeling after the fact, but yeah.
- 22:25Whatever, get married at the get the Gatorade shower ready.
- 22:28Yeah, I mean, I don't need a trophy.
- 22:30I just, it's just another day's work for me, you know?
- 22:32You know, just just doing the honest work, you know, just.
- 22:35Doing the honest work, Murray says.
- 22:38Shift taking you to the Taco spot.
- 22:39We we got some good. We got some good tacos out there
- 22:43in Lai will say shout out, Murray, some excellent tacos out
- 22:48there in LA. I've I've, I've experienced it
- 22:51first hand and I tell you what, it's better than what we've got
- 22:55out here in, in good old Northern Virginia.
- 22:57I can promise you that. Let's talk about this Mason
- 23:01Miller injury, a cover up if I've ever seen one.
- 23:08Yeah, thank you. What are what are we?
- 23:10Doing here Martine Gallegos. I mean, look, I get it.
- 23:14You're I, I take that back, you're doing your job.
- 23:18This is on presumably the Oakland A's here.
- 23:21Martine Gallegos with excellent as Nate's over here doing hand
- 23:27exercises to to see how he could pot quite possibly awkwardly
- 23:33place a hand on a table and fracture it.
- 23:35A padded table, a padded table. How you could do that, I don't
- 23:39know. Martine Gallegos with the
- 23:43journalistic integrity that I'm, I presume that he has initially
- 23:48comes out and tweets also. I love, I love how we were
- 23:55talking about possibly making this a 30 minute episode.
- 23:57We're already 24. We're already there.
- 23:59We talked more about, I think we talked more about half pound
- 24:03cookies than we did a no hitter anyway, Martin Gallegos tweets.
- 24:09Per source, A's will place All Star closer Mason Miller on the
- 24:12injured list today with a fracture of the 5th metacarpal,
- 24:15which is your pinky in his left hand.
- 24:17Note his non pitching hand says it's a non pitching injury he
- 24:21suffered after pounding a padded training room table in
- 24:25frustration following Monday night's win.
- 24:29Hours later he comes out and says deletes the initial tweet
- 24:36and then comes out and says important clarification on Mason
- 24:40Miller injury. He did not pound the table out
- 24:42of frustration. He put his hand down awkwardly
- 24:44on the training table while getting ready to do an exercise.
- 24:48Who's who's fracturing their pinky, placing their hand down
- 24:52on a padded training table. Yeah, I don't bite.
- 24:55This. Like I said, this is a cover up
- 24:57if I've ever seen one. Where did it go?
- 25:00I got super confused because I was at work and I got the, the
- 25:05Bleacher Report like headline where it was like Mason Miller
- 25:09broken hand IL like and it was like all caps like on table or
- 25:16something like that. And I was like, are are you
- 25:20saying he's still on the table for being traded because he's on
- 25:25the IL like what am I? What am I reading here?
- 25:28What are these words? I open it up and I'm like, what?
- 25:33How do you place your hand awkwardly?
- 25:36Not buying it, not buying it. Something, something's,
- 25:40something's off here. Something's fishy.
- 25:42I mean my, my whole thing is like what difference does it
- 25:45make? The whole the whole purpose
- 25:47your. Finger's still broken, you're
- 25:48still not getting traded, and you're still.
- 25:51Exactly that's what I'm saying. Like it this does not change the
- 25:54fact that this screws up any and all plans that they had of
- 25:58possibly maybe shipping them out for what I what I can only
- 26:04imagine would be quite the hall that it doesn't matter if he
- 26:09placed it down awkwardly. If he placed it down not
- 26:13awkwardly, it's still fractured. It doesn't matter if he if he
- 26:17was quote pounding a padded training room table or if he did
- 26:23it wiping his butt, it doesn't matter.
- 26:26It's a fractured pinky. And the reality is you can't
- 26:33trade them even if you wanted to.
- 26:36So why? Why come out with the cover up?
- 26:39Because you can't tell some? A pitcher punching anything.
- 26:48An inanimate object is far more believable to me than a pitcher
- 26:56awkwardly placing their hand on a padded table and fracturing
- 26:59it. So what's with the cover up?
- 27:05What difference does it make? Exercise.
- 27:07What kind of exercise is he about to do?
- 27:10I I partially part of part of me doesn't even want to ask
- 27:14because. Oh, this.
- 27:16There's no shot. There's no shot.
- 27:18I've broken my meta carpal. I've broken the the the 4th one.
- 27:22This guy here that has to be jammed.
- 27:26Like very hard. I don't.
- 27:29I don't even like thinking about it.
- 27:30I don't even like thinking. About the knuckle, I had a
- 27:32boxer's fracture, so mine broke right here.
- 27:35That's where the metacarpal is. It's not up here.
- 27:38It's in the hand. So to do that, like it's,
- 27:42there's no like if you do this way, it's like it dislocates.
- 27:45You see like that video of Kobe where you got it dislocated and
- 27:49they just like pull it back in and he goes back and playing.
- 27:52You see like football players do that stuff.
- 27:54The metacarpal has to be like, it has to be like jammed.
- 28:01You know what I'm saying? Like there's no way for the
- 28:03metacarpal to break unless there's like a hard impact.
- 28:07You're not placing it on a table and then like falling or
- 28:11something like that. Like that would be this part.
- 28:15The metacarpal had to have been damaged by like force.
- 28:23I'm not buying it. Like if you're the Oakland A's,
- 28:26you legitimately want me to believe that a closer who
- 28:31closers are notoriously just like I don't.
- 28:36I'm angry. Angry maybe isn't the right
- 28:38word. Maybe just like a little, maybe
- 28:40a little bit of a screw loose. But sometimes, more often than
- 28:43not, in a good way, they got like a little bit of a screw
- 28:45loose, but in a in a way that gives them a competitive edge.
- 28:51You're telling me that I'm supposed to believe that he
- 28:55didn't channel that and and punch a training table out of
- 29:02frustration and instead just gently place his hand down?
- 29:05No, I'm not. Here's.
- 29:06What I'm thinking, my man tried to go the smart move, he tried
- 29:10to go glove hand and he tried to go towards a padded area like he
- 29:16tried to go about this the right way.
- 29:18I saw a tweet today. It was something along the lines
- 29:21of like Mason Miller is like nobody we've ever seen.
- 29:25He even tries to like punch the punch the table with his glove
- 29:31hand. He's like Mason Miller's playing
- 29:33chess while we're all playing chess.
- 29:34That's true. I mean, I like this is so I
- 29:41mean, I'm not going to I'm not going to beat a dead horse here,
- 29:43but it's let's. Go one step.
- 29:44Further, it's very clearly cover up.
- 29:46Let's go one step further and say, hey, we didn't get any
- 29:52offers we liked, but our fans and baseball is going to be
- 29:58really pissed if we don't trade you.
- 30:00So we need you to go punch that table with your glove hand.
- 30:06I've already paid. I've already slipped.
- 30:08Gallegos rider a 20. He's going to re correct his
- 30:12prior statement. Done.
- 30:16I knew it. I know exactly what's going on
- 30:18in Oakland. Do you know what's going on with
- 30:22this Oakland A's ticket situation?
- 30:24Have you seen this? That the last the last home
- 30:27game. Gabriel Hernandez tweeted John
- 30:31Fisher and David Cavall, you're insane for making Oakland fans
- 30:35pay $104.00 to sit in the third deck for the final A's home
- 30:39game. You're terrible human beings.
- 30:40And then includes a screenshot of the Oakland A's ticket
- 30:44website. That's important.
- 30:45This isn't like, secondary market here.
- 30:48This isn't. This isn't the like reselling
- 30:50market. This is Oakland AS website
- 30:55that's that's showing you this price $104.20 for row 14, seat
- 31:0314 and section 332. People go and pay it.
- 31:07Oh, they absolutely are. But like how, how, how greedy
- 31:12can you get? Like the amount of money that
- 31:16you're going to make is so insignificant.
- 31:22Insignificant that it's more insulting that you would bump up
- 31:28the price to this. I don't know see the 10. 12X.
- 31:32Based on where you're at, the ballpark, if if someone's going
- 31:36there for the first time this year, you know what I'm saying?
- 31:40You go to 10 games a year or you go to one game, that's you know,
- 31:43you're going to make your money back somehow.
- 31:46Business is business. No, I'm just kidding.
- 31:49This is super scummy. But no, no, you're right.
- 31:52Like business is business. Like when I when I first saw
- 31:55this, my immediate reaction was like, well, yeah, I mean, you're
- 32:00going to have a lot of people wanting to go to that.
- 32:03I mean, you and I even kind of jokingly were like, oh, should
- 32:05we go to the last Oakland A's game?
- 32:10What do you why you give me that look?
- 32:14Sorry it's our last chance, but. You trying to pull this off?
- 32:17I don't know if I'm trying to go to Oakland, if I'm being quite
- 32:19honest. You.
- 32:20Already got the fit. I do, I do.
- 32:24Well, I mean, I would I would probably wear that out there,
- 32:26but if I got there, I'd probably invest in one of those nice
- 32:29Kelly green uni's if I'm being honest.
- 32:33No, but like what what I'm saying is, is like plenty of
- 32:39people are are presumably wanting to go to this game.
- 32:43I would imagine it's going to be a sell out.
- 32:44So like I understand stop. You're not convincing me to go
- 32:48to this stupid game. We can stay with Murray and just
- 32:51drive down. I'm not drive.
- 32:52I'm not driving to Oakland from LA.
- 32:55No idea how far that is. Couldn't tell you how far that
- 32:57is. California is big.
- 33:00Actually, let's just do this real quick.
- 33:01How far, Just out of curiosity? There we go.
- 33:04Just get these. Get these.
- 33:06Let's just go, let's go, stop. Let's go stadium to stadium.
- 33:09How far is Dodger Stadium from Oakland Coliseum?
- 33:16How far is Murray? 'S address.
- 33:17No, I'm not driving 6 hours. That's 370 miles.
- 33:22Oakland road trip. No, I'm not doing that for the
- 33:25last game in Oakland. No, I'll pass.
- 33:28I'm good. I'm good.
- 33:31No, but what I'm saying is like, I, I get the business out of it.
- 33:34I I really do. But like this like you have a
- 33:37track record of screwing your fans over.
- 33:41So I don't, I don't really care about the business side of it
- 33:45here. Like if it was any other
- 33:46organization maybe hiking the prices up, I'm like, that's
- 33:50business as business, Susan. It's only 11 hours from here.
- 33:57Stop. I'm not going Yeah.
- 34:02So it's I'm not surprised. But like you said, it's still a
- 34:06scummy move and it's just it's embarrassing.
- 34:09It's just one more embarrassing move and really one final kick
- 34:17to the gut, kick to the face, kick to whatever extremity
- 34:21pretty much to to Oakland A's fans.
- 34:25And look, I, I know I've gone on, I've gone on my own rants
- 34:29about like, where were Oakland A's fans when they were making
- 34:32the, the postseason? And now they're sad that the
- 34:35team is leaving. And it's like, well, maybe you
- 34:36should have been there when they were actually in the playoffs,
- 34:39but you weren't during those seasons or the seasons after the
- 34:43fact. So I, I take it with a grain of
- 34:46salt, but this is still like, regardless how you feel about
- 34:50that, about attendance figures from seasons prior, this is just
- 34:53a scummy move. And.
- 34:58I think it's kind of funny, personally.
- 35:02It is what it is. I I don't know.
- 35:04We're heading to Oakland. No, we're not heading to
- 35:08Oakland. But Speaking of LA, Clayton
- 35:11Kershaw made his return today. His season, his 2024 debut, went
- 35:17four innings loud. Six hits, two earned runs, two
- 35:20walks, 6 KS on 72 pitches. Honestly.
- 35:24Sounds like a. Sounds like a normal.
- 35:28Kershaw start Yeah. And what I was going to say is
- 35:31like, you know, this may not be all that important to the
- 35:36average person, but the thing that sticks out to me for
- 35:38Kershaw and his his return is the 72 pitches.
- 35:41Like I, I feel like for your first start of the year, that's
- 35:45a, that's a decent place to be. And I hope that they would,
- 35:50they're going to, I hope the plan is given that he's had the,
- 35:54the first half of the season away, I would hope that they
- 35:58would be able to stretch him out a little bit and, and let him,
- 36:01let him eat a little bit as we, we come down the stretch here,
- 36:05because everybody loves watching Kershaw throw.
- 36:08I mean, who doesn't? What do you think like 8590 next
- 36:11one out and then it's. Yeah, get him to 85 and then
- 36:16maybe, maybe another one right around there.
- 36:18And then from that point, like four, 5th, 4th, 5th, 6th, start,
- 36:22whatever or however many he gets, let it eat.
- 36:25They, they just don't really have the luxury of, of, you
- 36:27know, they need them, the rotation needs them.
- 36:31So he's a Hall of Famer. Like, as much as Dodgers fans or
- 36:37baseball fans want a dog on him, he can still do his thing,
- 36:46Kirsch. I'm about it really, really
- 36:49wasn't much to to say on it. I just wanted to mention it
- 36:51because I was hoping to touch on it next episode, but it
- 36:55literally already happened today.
- 36:56So why not? Why not mention it?
- 36:58Another thing we got today, Garrett Crochet.
- 37:02Little bit of an update there, a little bit of a little bit of a
- 37:07Josh Hater esque stance being taken here from Garrett Crochet,
- 37:15according to Alden Gonzalez. He tweeted Massive deadline
- 37:19related development. In case you missed it, Garrett
- 37:23Crochet's reps have told teams he will not pitch in the
- 37:27playoffs without an extension and he prefers not to go to the
- 37:31bullpen. I I don't like this.
- 37:40I who do you think you are, First off?
- 37:51You know what I'm saying? Like you're having a good year.
- 37:55You have plenty of talent. Are you Max Scherzer, suddenly
- 38:04are which like, who do you think you are calling these kinds of
- 38:08shots? I get the bullpen thing.
- 38:12I think that I can understand, like you, I think to this, to
- 38:15this point, you've you've, you've earned your stay in the
- 38:20rotation wherever you end up. I I believe that.
- 38:23Yeah, you've pitched 184 innings in your in your big league
- 38:30career. Who were you to call shots like
- 38:38that? I, I don't understand, and I'm
- 38:46going to go look up contract wise because I'm pretty sure
- 38:49he's still under control. He's still in our beers, isn't
- 38:53he? Yeah.
- 38:59He's got two more years of arbitration left.
- 39:01He's not even a free agent until 2027.
- 39:06Who? Who are you?
- 39:11I, I, I don't like this at all. Like I'm extremely turned off if
- 39:15I'm AGM, Like I, I don't want this already coming through the
- 39:22door. We haven't, I don't, you haven't
- 39:25even to make a demand like that in reality.
- 39:31Like I haven't seen a demand like that out of like a future
- 39:34Hall of Famer out out of like a established veteran, much less a
- 39:40guy starting games for, for the first year in his career.
- 39:50You what are we talking in a, in an era now where we're so hyper
- 39:54focused on pitch count and and inning count and longevity or,
- 40:00or at least trying to hold on to longevity and health?
- 40:05I get the bullpen thing. And I don't know if it's this
- 40:09tweet or reports that are making it sound so demanding.
- 40:15These aren't his words specifically.
- 40:18Maybe it was. It's quoted better, maybe
- 40:20saying, hey, like, I'd prefer to stay a starter.
- 40:24But if I'm in a freaking White Sox uniform and I'm a part of
- 40:29one of the worst seasons ever, I think my words are going to be
- 40:36I'm down to get out of here wherever, and I'm down to do
- 40:41whatever you need me to do to go win a ring.
- 40:43Those are my comments. You have done nothing.
- 40:49You've done nothing. You've done pretty well for a
- 40:53team that no one's watching with no pressure on you.
- 40:58That's it. And the only reason you're
- 41:02allowed to say this stuff is because of the market just being
- 41:04absolutely 0. There's no other starting
- 41:07pitches out there at this caliber.
- 41:09So I, I hate this and and I'm already turned off.
- 41:15I don't I don't again, they they could have said this
- 41:19differently. He could have his quotes, his
- 41:22direct quotes could be different.
- 41:23I don't know. But these reports and these
- 41:26tweets about these demands are I'm, I'm all set.
- 41:31Thank you, though. I'm going to add you to my
- 41:35winning clubhouse, my winning team, my team going to get a
- 41:39trophy and you're going to tell me the demands.
- 41:42I'm saving you from a dumpster fire.
- 41:44I'm saving you from the Titanic. You're going to do what I tell
- 41:49you to do. I'm pretty tired of players just
- 41:54having this level of entitlement when you've done nothing to
- 41:58prove it. This is nothing.
- 42:00You've pitched 1/2 a season. Well, all said, well, all said,
- 42:13yeah, I, I don't really have much to add on to that as I'm
- 42:16kind of right there with you. I, I just think it's silly when,
- 42:20like you said, you look at the, you look at the body of work
- 42:23that he's compiled over the course of his career.
- 42:25It's really, it's really not much of A career yet.
- 42:29Like he, he's, he's been here for a little while, but
- 42:33certainly not long enough to be making any sort of demands.
- 42:36That's, I mean, that's the reality.
- 42:38Of it, it's it almost, it's it like it shoots your future team
- 42:42in the foot. It shoots your current team in
- 42:43the foot. The whole point of the
- 42:46attraction is how cheap you are for the quality that you're
- 42:51providing. You are cheap because you're
- 42:53still under arbitration years. That's half the value of of what
- 42:58the White Sox are holding in their hand.
- 43:01So for you to put this out there, it diminishes it it, it
- 43:08hurts the White Sox, which I don't think he really cares
- 43:10about. When you say I'm, I'm trying to
- 43:13track. When you say cheap, what do you?
- 43:15Well, I mean, because he's an arbitration, he's worth, he's
- 43:17worth, you know, a A1 year league minimum.
- 43:23And if he wants to go to court or have an offer, I mean, I, I,
- 43:28I maybe he's trying to avoid arbitration hearings.
- 43:31Like I don't, I don't see the whole point of sitting here and
- 43:36saying I haven't even completed this year yet.
- 43:38But I'm a frontline starter and I'm ready for an extension, No?
- 43:47I I see. Like I the whole point of this
- 43:50is you're he's under control and he's cheaper than forking over,
- 43:55you know what, a 20 to $25 million commitment.
- 43:58He may get 1820 in an arbitration hearing.
- 44:04I don't know. There may be a settlement offer.
- 44:07I it all really depends. But like, it's a part of the
- 44:11value. I'm not trading for you to then
- 44:17buy out two years of your cheapest part of your career.
- 44:22I'm buying you out to take advantage of that.
- 44:24And then I'll extend you if if we're in a good spot.
- 44:26It's just weird. It's just weird.
- 44:34And I think it lessens the value because like it's, it's, I don't
- 44:41know. Yeah, I think it it kind of
- 44:43eliminates certain teams you could argue.
- 44:48Speaking of trades, let's sort of wrap up here with a trade
- 44:56that you think will happen by next episode.
- 45:01And for those who are unfamiliar, for us, that will be
- 45:04Sunday, Sunday. So essentially over the weekend.
- 45:08What's a trade that you see happening this weekend ahead of
- 45:16Tuesday's deadline? I going first, You going first?
- 45:24I'll go first. OK, This is rather bold just
- 45:29because I, I, I don't know, I don't know if the trigger finger
- 45:34is this quite this happy for my for my Red Sox, But I really,
- 45:43really like the fit. I like the move and I think it
- 45:48would do wonders for vibes in that clubhouse.
- 45:55Nate Ivaldi coming back home. Nate Ivaldi coming back home.
- 46:12Was literally that was mine, that was mine.
- 46:15He had him pulled up you're wait so you told me OK for for those
- 46:20of you wondering like why am I why I'm reacting this way before
- 46:23we started this episode Nate goes I've actually been cooking
- 46:26one up that I haven't really seen on social media yet.
- 46:29I. Could be wrong, I don't know.
- 46:30I don't know. No, no, no.
- 46:31It talks the way you follow, but I haven't seen that.
- 46:33No, for sure, for sure. But it's just funny because I, I
- 46:39dropped that and then Nate obviously is like, well, that's
- 46:43mine. That's I had it, Yeah.
- 46:45I mean, I had the same thing. I had it pulled up because I was
- 46:48looking at his contract. He has a vesting option for next
- 46:52year and I was looking up like I don't know if the vesting part
- 46:56of it is tradable necessarily, but it was saying it's a
- 47:01$2,000,000 player option if he does 300 innings across 2023.
- 47:09That's right, I remember 2024. I looked this up recently.
- 47:13And so I was looking at his innings.
- 47:14That's why I was on his VR page. Yeah.
- 47:16And he's at like 250. Yeah, he's at 2:50 right now.
- 47:25So 50 more innings and he crosses that threshold.
- 47:29So I don't know if that's like a thing.
- 47:31Yeah. That was that was my that was my
- 47:32trade idea. What I mean, what's your, what's
- 47:35your reasoning behind it? I, I'll give you mine and, and
- 47:38tell me if I'm crazy here. Tell me if I'm like that far
- 47:41off. I just felt like the Red Sox may
- 47:43not be able to do a ton at the deadline.
- 47:47And I don't know if there's like there.
- 47:49I, I, you could speak to this better than I can, but I think
- 47:52that there's a few holes that they probably won't be able to
- 47:56address. And so this is almost like a
- 47:58splashy enough name that the fan base can get around and be
- 48:02excited about, but at the same time adds like an umph, adds
- 48:07like a spark, adds like a. It's a morale.
- 48:10Boost big morale boost. It's, you know, he's a core guy,
- 48:14he's a Red Sox guy, he's a fan guy.
- 48:15He's and he's a, you know, had post season success.
- 48:19Like it almost like checks boxes that no other player could.
- 48:23So that's why I had that in my head.
- 48:26Am I close? Is that about?
- 48:28Yeah, no, like for me you need, you need a starter like you need
- 48:32pitching help. I mean, yeah, you need some,
- 48:36some pen help. But based on the the starting
- 48:41pit, like you already talked about, the market is lacking a
- 48:44little bit right now. And I think that this is right
- 48:50in the Red Sox wheelhouse right now where you we just talked
- 48:53about it. You went out and extended Alex
- 48:56Gore. You've made it clear that you
- 48:58are going to get serious about this team.
- 49:03If you're the front office in in Boston, you've made it clear
- 49:05that you were by by bringing Alex Gore back.
- 49:08The conversation had to have taken place with him in that
- 49:11that some promise had to be made of like we are going to get
- 49:14serious about this team. This is a way to do that because
- 49:18we know that even though they may want to get serious about
- 49:21the team, they're not going to go crazy at the trade deadline.
- 49:24Like they're they're not going out and getting Terry Scubal.
- 49:27They're not going to trade for Garrett Crochet.
- 49:30But this is like right there in that wheelhouse of them if they
- 49:34are in fact serious about this team and they want to implement
- 49:37that mindset right away at this deadline.
- 49:40Like forget waiting till the offseason.
- 49:42If you want to, if you want to get things started off on the
- 49:44right foot with with Alex Korra now extended, go out and get a
- 49:49guy like native ALDI, who like you said, fan guy, core guy,
- 49:53just a Red Sox guy. He's going to bring you value.
- 49:57He's going to help out that rotation.
- 49:58He's going to eat innings. And then it gives you still a
- 50:03little bit of what you're not putting all your eggs in the
- 50:05basket of of going out and getting a guy like scuba or
- 50:07crochet. It gives you still a little bit
- 50:09of flexibility to go out and and get a guy that you can
- 50:16supplement the line up with. Because I think they need a,
- 50:18they need a power bat in there to supplement the the offense a
- 50:22little bit. But this, this just makes sense
- 50:24to me. It's, I don't, I don't know, it
- 50:26just makes sense. Yeah, yeah.
- 50:29That's, that's crazy. That's crazy.
- 50:33Did you have like any idea when I said that?
- 50:35No, I I wouldn't have just have expected you to pick up a Red
- 50:38Sox. Train for like your one train.
- 50:41It just came to my head like like a week, week and a half ago
- 50:44because I'm just like, I think there's only so much the Red Sox
- 50:48can do. I think it's like, are they
- 50:51willing to go towards those bigger names that a lot of these
- 50:55other, I won't say more ready teams, but like, I think a
- 51:01bigger contender, you know, like a Dodgers or Orioles, like are
- 51:05they going to be able to do what those teams are going to do?
- 51:08You know? So, yeah, that's wild.
- 51:11All right. Well, like, I'm going to try to
- 51:13come up with something on the fly here.
- 51:15You don't have to. We we talked a little bit longer
- 51:17on the Ivaldi thing. You don't.
- 51:19You don't need to come up with any on the fly.
- 51:21Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. The little one, little guy.
- 51:26Diamondbacks are acquiring AJ Puck from the Marlins.
- 51:29That does. Little little guy, little guy.
- 51:32That does less than nothing for me.
- 51:33I just. I just saw passing breaking
- 51:35news, so I had to. Oh, gosh, throw that out there.
- 51:39Yeah, it does. All right.
- 51:42Well, give me give me Tanner Scott to the Orioles before the
- 51:54before the weekend's over. I think this, it's just funny.
- 51:59Like I think they just, I think Craig Kimbrell just blew a save
- 52:04to the Marlins today. You're already in Miami.
- 52:09So, you know, make that happen. I like that.
- 52:13I like that. That's off the cuff, but he's
- 52:15going. He's going.
- 52:16Oh, for sure. Yeah.
- 52:17He's going somewhere. Jazz is going somewhere, yeah.
- 52:21It's just a matter of where wrapping up here.
- 52:25I love how we said short episode knew that wasn't going to happen
- 52:28normal. I mean, we're we're pushing an
- 52:30hour so that that's that's cool. Wrapping up for good here
- 52:34though, with the details of our wager.
- 52:37Oh yeah, if you listened to last episode, I think we did.
- 52:40We close out with speculating on what it could be.
- 52:44Yeah, yeah. Yeah.
- 52:45So the deal, the the the don't don't.
- 52:48Say the specifics. Just say.
- 52:51Yeah, yeah. No, no, I was just going to lay
- 52:53out the the details of if you haven't listened to the last
- 52:55episode, but first of all, go listen to the last episode, get
- 52:57caught up. But as a reminder, we are going
- 53:01to be making a a friendly wager here between the last two
- 53:06remaining series between the Yankees and Red Sox, the first
- 53:09of which is happening this weekend starting Friday through
- 53:12Sunday. And then I think they meet again
- 53:15in September towards the end of the season 4.
- 53:18Games Four games set then. Four games set, so seven games
- 53:21total. So this bet is going to be
- 53:23stretched out over the course of the the remainder of the season.
- 53:26So it'll, it'll be it'll be fun to have to have to wait, wait it
- 53:32out a little bit. But we have decided the wager.
- 53:35We decided before we hopped on, we kind of talked through some
- 53:38things. How I mean, you don't want me to
- 53:40reveal the details, but like how far I'll I'll let you say
- 53:44because you, you clearly have an idea in your mind of like how
- 53:47far you want me to to let on about the details.
- 53:50Yeah, I, I, I just, there's a, there's a T-shirt that's going
- 53:56to there's, that's going to be evolved.
- 53:59There's a couple T-shirts that. There's one one of two T-shirts,
- 54:03yeah, that will be, will be, will be designed, will be
- 54:07created. Yep.
- 54:09That the loser is going to have to wear.
- 54:13Yep, then it's it's for 10 episodes, 10 episodes before
- 54:20opening day of next year, with the 10th episode being right
- 54:25around that area. Maybe we still got to figure
- 54:27those details out. I don't know.
- 54:28I mean, it you, you were worried about it being on the hot takes
- 54:31episode, but I, I think that'd be pretty fire if it if it was
- 54:35it's. Going to have to be 10 episodes
- 54:37of the winner's choice during the offseason up until opening
- 54:43day. Yeah, 'cause the obviously with
- 54:46the series not being finished until the end of September, we
- 54:49got to order the shirt 'cause we're making it, It's custom and
- 54:53then we got the postseason. It's going to be tough.
- 54:55So most likely going to be all offseason stuff, but let's just
- 55:00say it's not. Either way, it's not a desirable
- 55:05piece of attire. No, it's definitely not.
- 55:07It's going to make for make for some good last.
- 55:09But do we want to include the other bit about it?
- 55:12Oh yeah, so the loser is 100% it going to be a donor to the other
- 55:22teams foundation, charitable foundation.
- 55:25So just to put it out there of like, hey, I am giving to the
- 55:30Red Sox or you are giving to the Yankees, which just kind of
- 55:35stings a little bit in its own. Way, yeah, but it's for a good.
- 55:38It'll be good for a good cause. Yeah, something good will come
- 55:41out of this in addition to the laughs that I'm sure that that
- 55:44are coming for for the loser from the people.
- 55:47So looking forward to that. It all starts this weekend,
- 55:52Friday night. Should we have like a like a
- 55:55bonus, any kind of bonus bonus? No.
- 56:00If there's like a sweep or something like that, there's
- 56:06it's like a kicker, you know what I mean?
- 56:08I'm going to cut up the episodes that you got to wear it for.
- 56:12Could go screensaver like of the whatever Photoshop that we're
- 56:17doing, that has to be the screensaver.
- 56:20That could be tough. Absolutely not doing that.
- 56:23I. Can't wait for people to see
- 56:25what the T-shirts. Are going to what I cook up what
- 56:29I cook up? Wow.
- 56:32So big weekend. Dude, I'm not trying to have a
- 56:34screensaver pop up in church. And then they'd be like, my
- 56:38brother, what is that? Well, everyone in church is
- 56:43obviously listening to the podcast, so of.
- 56:45Course, yeah, that's fair. Yeah, OK, looking forward to
- 56:50that. That'll be fun.
- 56:53Depending upon who you want to see win or lose that vet be sure
- 56:57to to pull for the respective club this weekend.
- 57:01Give send some good vibes and some good, some some mojo.
- 57:05I I could say both of our teams need it.
- 57:09One a little more than the other all.
- 57:11Right, we both are yours. We're we're.
- 57:13Doing all right, We're doing all right.
- 57:15Sure, we're doing OK. That'll do it.
- 57:18Another another short episode in the books.
- 57:22Good stuff. That was fun.
- 57:24Brought the juice. Enjoy the trade deadline.
- 57:28Buckle up for Sunday's sash, Monday's episode, 'cause I'm
- 57:32sure there's going to be a lot to talk about there.
- 57:33So you guys are awesome. Don't go chase curveballs.
- 57:39Le'veon is always looking forward to talking more baseball
- 57:41with you guys soon. Until next time, stay filthy.
