- 0:07Speaker 1: his podcast. Now back to the Mark Simone Show on
- 0:11Speaker 1: woor Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Steve
- 0:16Speaker 1: at Manhattan. Steve, how you doing all right?
- 0:20Speaker 2: And you know, everybody's surprised about this election. You're bringing
- 0:24Speaker 2: a million third world and they vote for a third
- 0:26Speaker 2: World of for Maya and you're surprised by this the two.
- 0:30Speaker 1: All right, Steve, thanks for Colin. Let's go to Dave
- 0:32Speaker 1: in New Jersey. Dave, how you doing?
- 0:34Speaker 3: Hey?
- 0:35Speaker 4: With everything that's going on, I'm just a little bit
- 0:37Speaker 4: better than perfect. Hey with this thing with Mikey Cheryl,
- 0:41Speaker 4: she says she's gonna freeze the price on the electric
- 0:45Speaker 4: bills in New Jersey. Does that mean they can't go
- 0:49Speaker 4: down as well?
- 0:50Speaker 1: Well, that's probably that's a good point. That's probably what
- 0:53Speaker 1: she meant. Yeah, because you've got President Trump in office
- 0:56Speaker 1: who's gonna increase drilling and natural gas. You know, his
- 1:01Speaker 1: all of the above approaches. Everything you got that does
- 1:03Speaker 1: bring prices down, and there's more and more and more
- 1:07Speaker 1: and more drilling, which brings oil prices down. So you're right,
- 1:10Speaker 1: that's probably why she wants to freeze it. Let's go
- 1:12Speaker 1: to Bill in Pennsylvania. Bill, how you doing?
- 1:15Speaker 3: Oh I'm tickety boo, But I want to say something.
- 1:20Speaker 3: I agree with you that Leticia James has probably the
- 1:23Speaker 3: it of salary. But I mean, she almost shook down
- 1:27Speaker 3: the two party system by bankrupting the love of good candidate.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Is there any consequence of this ever gonna happen of
- 1:35Speaker 3: what happening? I mean, is she going to face any
- 1:39Speaker 3: sort of Oh?
- 1:39Speaker 1: Oh yeah, she's been indicted. She's been indicted on charges
- 1:42Speaker 1: of mortgage fraud. She's about to go to trial. She's
- 1:45Speaker 1: in fact hired Abby Lowell, who is the top Washington
- 1:50Speaker 1: d C. Attorney. That's the the guy to go to.
- 1:53Speaker 1: So she's taking this very seriously if she hired Abby Lowell. Yeah,
- 1:57Speaker 1: she's already under indictment mortgage fraud, and apparently there's more
- 2:01Speaker 1: charges coming because when you get caught with that mortgage fraud,
- 2:04Speaker 1: you then get hit with tax fraud because you're cheating
- 2:08Speaker 1: the irs, so they'll be tax fraud, all sorts of
- 2:11Speaker 1: stuff coming. Yeah, she's already under indictment, already lawyered up,
- 2:14Speaker 1: already headed to court. Let's go to Jim in Brooklyn. Jim,
- 2:18Speaker 1: how you.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Doing doing great? I just had a little tidbit about
- 2:22Speaker 2: that Louver heist in France.
- 2:25Speaker 1: The Louver, Oh, the Louver, Yes.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Yes, the lose. Sorry I like to mispronounce French. Okay,
- 2:34Speaker 2: I work.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Were you involved?
- 2:37Speaker 2: I wish I get my name out there. But anyway,
- 2:40Speaker 2: they not only were they using for the security system
- 2:44Speaker 2: Windows XP. You remember that, Yeah, I mean that's like
- 2:48Speaker 2: fifteen years old. Okay, the password for their entire security system.
- 2:53Speaker 2: You're going to like this, Yeah, you better write it
- 2:56Speaker 2: that wall.
- 2:56Speaker 1: We don't have much time. It's only a two hour show.
- 2:58Speaker 1: You got to get it. You gotta strut Okay, I
- 3:03Speaker 1: mean the loof. Yeah, okay, well that's a pretty good
- 3:05Speaker 1: password because a lot of people can't spell loof. How
- 3:09Speaker 1: do you spell it? L o u v r E.
- 3:12Speaker 1: I think I don't know. Yeah, well it's government, you know,
- 3:14Speaker 1: government run stuff. They use old, old, old equipment. They're
- 3:17Speaker 1: on an old Windows XP. But but still it was
- 3:22Speaker 1: more to it than that, and they really seriously think
- 3:25Speaker 1: that they had there was an insider or too involved
- 3:30Speaker 1: who showed them the security system, showed them all this,
- 3:33Speaker 1: and they still haven't figured out the jewels were stolen.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Was it a collector, some very very wealthy collector, some
- 3:40Speaker 1: sort of James Bond villain type of guy who wanted
- 3:43Speaker 1: them just to have them and hired this team to
- 3:45Speaker 1: do it. Or it was the idea, I mean, you
- 3:48Speaker 1: can't just sell the pieces, They're too well known. Was
- 3:51Speaker 1: the idea to bust them up and sell the all
- 3:53Speaker 1: the jewels separately. Caught to two of them, they'll get
- 3:57Speaker 1: the rest eventually. And again they still think that they've
- 4:00Speaker 1: got some sort of cell phone records, some sort of
- 4:03Speaker 1: digital communication between people inside the museum and these guys,
- 4:06Speaker 1: so they think there was some inside help. Let's go
- 4:09Speaker 1: to Mike in Florida. Mike, how you doing, Good morning, Mark, Yes, Mike.
- 4:16Speaker 3: White Dahak claiming to be a Cuomo sexual when he
- 4:18Speaker 3: was standing remember joy the pandemic.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Yeah, we're talking about Yeah, your phone keeps cutting out.
- 4:26Speaker 1: You're we're talking about the You gotta remember when Cuomo
- 4:30Speaker 1: was popular. That was when he did those daily press conferences,
- 4:32Speaker 1: those daily briefings during the pandemic, and people used to
- 4:36Speaker 1: watch them every day and they, you know, they called
- 4:39Speaker 1: them cuomo sexuals. He was like a matinee star every day,
- 4:43Speaker 1: and Joy Behar and the others. But you have to
- 4:47Speaker 1: remember something. It was a lockdown. It was a pandemic.
- 4:51Speaker 1: You were trapped in your house a lock a literal lockdown.
- 4:54Speaker 1: You were trapped in your house and frightened. That's why
- 4:57Speaker 1: everybody watched that every day. That's why he became so popular.
- 5:01Speaker 1: If he tried it now now, right now, just every
- 5:05Speaker 1: day at noon, he'll talk for an hour, nobody would
- 5:07Speaker 1: watch it. It's only because you were terrified of the
- 5:09Speaker 1: pandemic and you couldn't go anywhere. You were stuck there
- 5:13Speaker 1: watching it. So and it was on every channel. So
- 5:16Speaker 1: it's not that he was great at a press conference.
- 5:18Speaker 1: It's not that he had anything to say. That's why
- 5:20Speaker 1: it worked. If he did it right now, every day,
- 5:22Speaker 1: live YouTube, you'll give you nobody. His own family wouldn't
- 5:26Speaker 1: watch it. It's like you remember the when the Iraq
- 5:29Speaker 1: War broke out. It was kind of scary to a
- 5:32Speaker 1: lot of people. We were suddenly at war in Iraq
- 5:34Speaker 1: and Rumsfeld, Secretary of Defense. Rumsfeld did that daily briefing,
- 5:38Speaker 1: same thing happening. You go back and look up these articles.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Rumsfeld was suddenly a superstar. They all loved Rumsfeld. And
- 5:47Speaker 1: you know, once people weren't so scared they didn't have
- 5:49Speaker 1: to watch it, and then nobody there, all of a sudden,
- 5:50Speaker 1: everybody hated him. So again, let's challenge Cuomo. Do a
- 5:54Speaker 1: daily press conference every day right now, twelve noon every
- 5:58Speaker 1: day for an hour. Let's see who you can get
- 5:59Speaker 1: to watch now, just based on your personality. Hey, when
- 6:02Speaker 1: we come back, Steve Moore, we hope will be with us,
- 6:06Speaker 1: Steve Moore, the great economists. We'll talk about the shutdown,
- 6:08Speaker 1: the economy, and a whole lot more. Coming up next
- 6:11Speaker 1: on seven ten Woor
