- 0:43Speaker 2: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:46Speaker 2: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Everybody it's been here with the Almost Famous podcast. We
- 0:51Speaker 1: are here live in studio. We just got off of
- 0:55Speaker 1: the Reunion Special, incredible special. I thought it was a
- 0:59Speaker 1: lot better than I expected to be. Nobody was talking
- 1:01Speaker 1: over each other, and I think there was many opportunities
- 1:03Speaker 1: to do that. Uh. First, my first question is it's
- 1:07Speaker 1: Alicia righty yiled it well, says it right, Others don't.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Sewan says it the best.
- 1:13Speaker 4: I will say, Sean gives them Alicia Alicia.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Okay, Alicia. It's a beautiful name. Thank you, Sean. Alicia
- 1:21Speaker 1: Alicia are here with us today. Goodness gracious, guys, you
- 1:25Speaker 1: left Paradise in a big way. Your experience in Paradise
- 1:30Speaker 1: was so beautiful and so good until it just got wild.
- 1:38Speaker 1: I want to start this with saying, Sean, I don't
- 1:42Speaker 1: think you were completely in the wrong. So and I
- 1:45Speaker 1: just have to say this as a fan. I'm watching
- 1:47Speaker 1: it back and up until the point that you start strategizing,
- 1:51Speaker 1: nobody else is doing it, and you said, hey, it's
- 1:53Speaker 1: time to strategize, like it's we're getting down here, it's
- 1:55Speaker 1: time to start think about it. Everybody was like, why
- 1:57Speaker 1: is he doing strategy? We're gonna get into the Samanta
- 2:00Speaker 1: and how it was communicated in those things in a
- 2:02Speaker 1: little bit. I don't think that was done perfectly. But
- 2:06Speaker 1: as soon as you guys left, everybody else starts strategizing.
- 2:09Speaker 1: So I think you were maybe ahead of the curve.
- 2:12Speaker 1: But my question for you is where did you guys
- 2:15Speaker 1: go wrong?
- 2:17Speaker 3: I don't think we were ahead of the curve.
- 2:18Speaker 4: I think it was shown that we were, or maybe
- 2:22Speaker 4: Sean more than me, but was starting to think of strategy.
- 2:25Speaker 4: But we were certainly not the only people having those
- 2:28Speaker 4: conversations at that point.
- 2:29Speaker 5: Well, there's a great quote by the Joker in the
- 2:31Speaker 5: Dark Knight movie that I'm not crazy, I'm just ahead
- 2:33Speaker 5: of the curve. That's how I felt like we were
- 2:35Speaker 5: in a way. But I think that when you look
- 2:38Speaker 5: when you watch it back, we have the luxury of
- 2:40Speaker 5: having a week break between all these episodes. When everyone
- 2:44Speaker 5: got mad at me for starting to talk strategy, two
- 2:46Speaker 5: days literally a day two days later they started doing it.
- 2:49Speaker 5: And what I did and no one else was thinking
- 2:51Speaker 5: this way was like I looked back on how many
- 2:53Speaker 5: days we had left until we were done filming. We
- 2:55Speaker 5: had like five days left when we got eliminated. So
- 2:58Speaker 5: I was doing the row ceremony math. I'm like, in
- 3:00Speaker 5: two days, we're gone. Like, unless we do something, we're gone.
- 3:02Speaker 5: They're going to vote south. So I was singing a
- 3:05Speaker 5: couple steps ahead. Everyone else is like almost living in
- 3:07Speaker 5: the moment, trying to figure out like rose by Rose Ceremony,
- 3:10Speaker 5: and I just I mean, I had a different opinion
- 3:12Speaker 5: about the show because it changed when it turned into
- 3:15Speaker 5: a competition for half a million dollars.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Do you agree?
- 3:20Speaker 4: Yeah, I do agree with most of that. I guess
- 3:23Speaker 4: the where it went wrong, I think it was probably
- 3:26Speaker 4: a culmination of a lot of different things. Probably on
- 3:31Speaker 4: our end, we have some blame to take and responsibility there.
- 3:34Speaker 4: But I think also like crowd mentality, it's very easy
- 3:37Speaker 4: to jump on the ship that's sinking, and I think
- 3:39Speaker 4: there was a lot of that happening, especially considering everybody
- 3:43Speaker 4: who is on the same terms of not sending home
- 3:45Speaker 4: romantic relationships at that point in the game. So I
- 3:49Speaker 4: think it was a little bit of both, and I
- 3:51Speaker 4: think we can take responsibility for our end. We might
- 3:54Speaker 4: have been able to go about that a little bit
- 3:57Speaker 4: with a little bit more grace for Kat. So I
- 4:00Speaker 4: think lessons were learned and that's the best part of Paradise.
- 4:02Speaker 4: Who were coming away with better relationships all around. And yeah,
- 4:06Speaker 4: hindsight's twenty twenty, but.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Now we we did just have the reunion. You gave
- 4:11Speaker 1: an update on your relationship today, which is.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Really really good.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Friends, Sean, do you agree with that. I would agree
- 4:21Speaker 1: with that.
- 4:22Speaker 5: Yeah, I think we like there's a lot of layers
- 4:24Speaker 5: that you can unpack in that.
- 4:26Speaker 1: I mean, I was really excited.
- 4:27Speaker 5: I think we both were to like leave Paradise together
- 4:29Speaker 5: and like in a relationship, and ultimately, like when we
- 4:31Speaker 5: got back to Tampa, some things came up where we
- 4:34Speaker 5: no longer lived in Tampa together from some career opportunities,
- 4:37Speaker 5: and it was just, you know, distance is tough in
- 4:40Speaker 5: any relationship, especially for the way that I think that
- 4:42Speaker 5: what we want to have a relationship. So but yeah, no,
- 4:44Speaker 5: we're still really good friends. We talk all the time.
- 4:46Speaker 5: Definitely have it back no matter what. But yeah, it's
- 4:49Speaker 5: kind of where we're at before.
- 4:50Speaker 1: We dive back into obviously the exit and the Parliament
- 4:54Speaker 1: of Paradise and all those things that happened. I do
- 4:56Speaker 1: want to talk about the two of you, because you
- 4:57Speaker 1: did have a really solid relationship for a long time
- 5:01Speaker 1: in Paradise, not only I think because of your proximity
- 5:05Speaker 1: and Tampa to each other, but also just how you
- 5:09Speaker 1: two met. Can you talk to me and to listeners
- 5:12Speaker 1: about your relationship and what it meant to you guys,
- 5:15Speaker 1: because your exit kind of felt like Hey, we're gonna
- 5:18Speaker 1: try to keep going in this and then you're gone.
- 5:20Speaker 1: But we didn't get the sense of where you guys
- 5:22Speaker 1: actually stood as a couple.
- 5:24Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean when Alicia came in, we had our
- 5:27Speaker 5: first date, Like I felt so locked in after that,
- 5:31Speaker 5: like we what you only say a little bit of
- 5:33Speaker 5: it on the show obviously, and they can't show everything,
- 5:35Speaker 5: but like we talked so much about what we're looking
- 5:38Speaker 5: for in life, like our family backgrounds, like her going
- 5:41Speaker 5: to boarding school in London, like my brothers, Like we
- 5:43Speaker 5: kind of I felt like we covered so much ground
- 5:44Speaker 5: that first date, where like I really felt like I
- 5:46Speaker 5: knew her immediately, and that just continued going on throughout Paradise.
- 5:51Speaker 5: You never really saw our relationship as a couple, which
- 5:54Speaker 5: was like a little bit frustrating watching it back. Like
- 5:56Speaker 5: we were spending every night together, like those conversations that
- 5:58Speaker 5: we're having, like wake up in the morning and bring
- 6:00Speaker 5: it to breakfast, like that was a legitimate relationship. And
- 6:03Speaker 5: that's why you know, I felt so strongly about us
- 6:05Speaker 5: and about our relationship. And then you know, we left
- 6:09Speaker 5: and we tried to continue it outside of it, but
- 6:11Speaker 5: just life happens, and I think you live in a
- 6:13Speaker 5: little bit of a bubble on Paradise, and I don't
- 6:15Speaker 5: think one thing or the other led to our demise.
- 6:17Speaker 5: Is really just like almost timing in a way.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Yeah, so how does that work? How do you spend
- 6:22Speaker 1: the night together? You have to share, like with the roommate,
- 6:24Speaker 1: sleep in them bit next to you.
- 6:26Speaker 5: Some people were doing that we fortunately, which to my demise.
- 6:30Speaker 5: I think in the game show Strategy elm out of it,
- 6:32Speaker 5: I didn't have a roommate, so then like I just
- 6:34Speaker 5: she just came over and it was great. The other
- 6:36Speaker 5: people had roommates, so they were doing like four person sleepovers,
- 6:39Speaker 5: which I thought was a little bit, you know, not
- 6:41Speaker 5: my cup of tea. But yeah, there's some great clips.
- 6:45Speaker 5: They just haven't been released. They should release them because
- 6:47Speaker 5: they're they're juicy content of all the couples in the rooms.
- 6:49Speaker 1: But yeah, that's uh, you know, for you, Alicia, Like
- 6:54Speaker 1: this relationship meant what.
- 6:58Speaker 4: For me? I think this relationshiphip was truly one of
- 7:03Speaker 4: the biggest winds. Like walking away from Paradise, I walked
- 7:06Speaker 4: in feeling like I had really secure friendships and those
- 7:09Speaker 4: were tested and felt like they were really on the
- 7:12Speaker 4: rocks for a while. And in the interim, Sean really
- 7:16Speaker 4: came to my defense, and I felt like I had
- 7:18Speaker 4: somebody who I could confide in, somebody who had my back,
- 7:21Speaker 4: and somebody who also had a really similar perspective on life.
- 7:27Speaker 4: And that just meant the world to have somebody in
- 7:29Speaker 4: your corner, especially when you feel like you don't have
- 7:32Speaker 4: any friends or people are going against you. It made
- 7:36Speaker 4: all the difference. And I think that's where we were
- 7:38Speaker 4: at the point of leaving. We had found so much
- 7:41Speaker 4: solace in one another. We didn't want to wake up
- 7:44Speaker 4: and see any of these people and breakfast with them.
- 7:46Speaker 4: We much rather just wake up in Tampa together. Is
- 7:49Speaker 4: kind of where our heads were at, And the fact
- 7:51Speaker 4: that geographically we were close in proximity was kind of
- 7:55Speaker 4: like a happy accident, serennipitous. But yeah, it was obviously
- 7:59Speaker 4: something that we didn't have to compromise leaving Paradise and
- 8:02Speaker 4: not being able to go back to the same place.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Yeah, did you two ever know each other before the show?
- 8:09Speaker 3: Sean asked me out once before the show.
- 8:11Speaker 1: She said no, no, So when you saw him again,
- 8:14Speaker 1: you were like, ah.
- 8:15Speaker 3: I was out of town. I actually didn't say no.
- 8:17Speaker 4: He had invited you to a Tampa Bay Lightning game,
- 8:19Speaker 4: and I love lightning, but I was sadly out of town.
- 8:22Speaker 4: And I knew when I said that I was going
- 8:23Speaker 4: to sound like the girl who's like blowing him off.
- 8:25Speaker 4: But really, I just seldom spend time in Tampa. And
- 8:28Speaker 4: now I think you can.
- 8:29Speaker 3: Attest to a yeah, she definitely doesn't, so I.
- 8:33Speaker 4: Think, you know, I wasn't just avoiding you, but I
- 8:36Speaker 4: would love to go to the Tampa Gate Lightning game.
- 8:37Speaker 3: Now we can go out in public.
- 8:38Speaker 5: Yeah no, but I like we didn't really know each other,
- 8:41Speaker 5: Like we knew of each other, and like that was
- 8:42Speaker 5: back in like January, like we hadn't talked since then,
- 8:45Speaker 5: like after she completely turned me down, I was like,
- 8:47Speaker 5: all right, well, you know whatever on the bigger and
- 8:49Speaker 5: better things. And then you know, she shows up on
- 8:51Speaker 5: the beach. So like we knew of each other, but
- 8:53Speaker 5: I didn't really know the first thing about her background
- 8:55Speaker 5: or if we're even going to be compatible. And I
- 8:57Speaker 5: think that was like so shocking to me. Was like
- 9:00Speaker 5: as soon as like we connected, probably not the first
- 9:02Speaker 5: night because I was really drunk, but like the next night, yeah,
- 9:05Speaker 5: that was really great. And then I was like, oh,
- 9:06Speaker 5: this is someone I could see myself like leaving here with,
- 9:09Speaker 5: and then the feelings just grew throughout the time we
- 9:10Speaker 5: were there.
- 9:17Speaker 1: All these love triangles getting you twisted us too. But
- 9:22Speaker 1: it's because we have Wetzels Pretzels on decks, serving up soft,

- 9:50Speaker 1: dot com. You talked about obviously you're in this like
- 9:57Speaker 1: limbo stage, You're really close friends, You're no longer like
- 10:01Speaker 1: dating or whatever you call it because of career opportunities.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Can you speak to any of those? Do you want
- 10:06Speaker 1: to share about what those are?
- 10:08Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know if I can or can't share,
- 10:10Speaker 4: But regarding interior design, which is my background and what
- 10:15Speaker 4: I went to school for, so for me, that's super
- 10:18Speaker 4: exciting and I think I'm going to have a better shot,
- 10:20Speaker 4: hopefully than.
- 10:22Speaker 3: Doing a competition about love.
- 10:24Speaker 4: So yeah, fingers are crossed and I'm just you know,
- 10:27Speaker 4: going with the flow and seeing where life takes me.
- 10:29Speaker 4: I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason.
- 10:32Speaker 4: And if you had asked me even two years ago
- 10:34Speaker 4: if I would be on the Bachelor or Bachelor in Paradise,
- 10:36Speaker 4: I would have laughed.
- 10:38Speaker 3: But here we are so stranger.
- 10:39Speaker 4: Things can happen, and I'm just kind of welcoming opportunities
- 10:42Speaker 4: as they come. I'm trying not to pass them by
- 10:45Speaker 4: or turn them down while I can't take advantage of that.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Yeah, smart, I mean the one thing kind of flashing
- 10:51Speaker 1: back to this season, the one thing that we did
- 10:53Speaker 1: see during the reunion reunion was you get a little emotional.
- 10:56Speaker 1: I felt like I was just watching. Tell me if
- 10:59Speaker 1: you didn't. When it was brought up with the moment
- 11:02Speaker 1: that you walked into the room and you heard the
- 11:04Speaker 1: other girls kind of talking about you, people that you
- 11:06Speaker 1: thought were friends. YEA, yeah, I want to take your
- 11:10Speaker 1: feelings there in that moment and kind of walk through,
- 11:15Speaker 1: you know, how you two process this and how maybe
- 11:18Speaker 1: close it brought you as a couple.
- 11:21Speaker 4: Definitely, that was certainly like the turning point for us
- 11:25Speaker 4: really feeling like we just needed to leave and be
- 11:28Speaker 4: pursuing our journey together individually at that point in Tampa,
- 11:33Speaker 4: I walked into the room and yeah, Like I was
- 11:35Speaker 4: very emotional bringing up to the union, and I was
- 11:37Speaker 4: emotional that night and even now talking about it, like,
- 11:40Speaker 4: I really really care about Alex and Bailey and all
- 11:43Speaker 4: my friends and people who I consider friends on the outside,
- 11:46Speaker 4: and it's easy to think this is a TV show
- 11:49Speaker 4: and just entertainment, and while it is, it's real people's lives,
- 11:53Speaker 4: and these are real friendships that you cultivate. So for me,
- 11:56Speaker 4: the friends that I keep, I've never been in a
- 11:58Speaker 4: room where, like I've had people talking about me who
- 12:01Speaker 4: I consider to be like sisters.
- 12:04Speaker 3: So that was really hard.
- 12:05Speaker 4: And it was also at a point where you know,
- 12:10Speaker 4: I didn't know who I could come to because I
- 12:11Speaker 4: didn't feel that I didn't really feel that welcome, and
- 12:17Speaker 4: I think we.
- 12:18Speaker 3: Were just kind of on a sinking ship. And it, yeah,
- 12:20Speaker 3: and it sucked.
- 12:21Speaker 4: It just really hurt my feelings to hear two people
- 12:25Speaker 4: who I wouldn't imagine ever saying things about me having
- 12:29Speaker 4: those private conversations. And then more than that, it was wow,
- 12:32Speaker 4: if I hadn't walked in, then what I have ever
- 12:35Speaker 4: known this was happening?
- 12:37Speaker 3: Probably not. And then the other thing was.
- 12:41Speaker 4: I had a lot of empathy for Bailey because no
- 12:44Speaker 4: one told her about the Susie thing, and had I known,
- 12:46Speaker 4: I would have told her. And I really stressed that
- 12:50Speaker 4: to her and emphasize that so she felt like she
- 12:52Speaker 4: had someone she could trust. So then to feel like
- 12:55Speaker 4: that happened just truly a day later, a day or
- 12:59Speaker 4: two later hurt even more because it felt like Bailey
- 13:04Speaker 4: should know how that would feel, and it just sucked
- 13:06Speaker 4: to have something done to you that you wouldn't do
- 13:10Speaker 4: to someone else.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Have you been able to rebuild those friendships and talk
- 13:13Speaker 1: through this.
- 13:13Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, we have, We definitely have. At the end
- 13:18Speaker 4: of the day, I don't think a TV show is
- 13:20Speaker 4: going to get in the way of people who are
- 13:23Speaker 4: good friends. And I believe in second chances and we
- 13:28Speaker 4: all grow and nobody's perfect.
- 13:31Speaker 3: We're all human.
- 13:32Speaker 4: And I love this saying everyone's a saint when they're
- 13:34Speaker 4: talking about someone else's sins. I'm not perfect either, and
- 13:38Speaker 4: I think it's just an opportunity for us to learn
- 13:39Speaker 4: and grow and strengthen those relationships and hopefully stop a
- 13:44Speaker 4: reoccurring pattern from happening in the future.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Sure, now we do have to talk about obviously, the
- 13:51Speaker 1: Parliament of Paradise. Yeah, I'm most interested. I think in
- 13:56Speaker 1: the return I was talking to Ashley, we're breaking down
- 13:59Speaker 1: the finance. I just want to know what the two
- 14:01Speaker 1: of you were talking about, like on the plane flight,
- 14:03Speaker 1: Like it felt like you came in there a thousand
- 14:05Speaker 1: miles an hour to me and we're like, I have
- 14:07Speaker 1: to get this information out there to you all. What
- 14:11Speaker 1: was the build up like for the two of you.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Can you give us a sneak peek of one, how
- 14:16Speaker 1: you came across the information, how you thought about how
- 14:18Speaker 1: you were going to deliver it, why you delivered the
- 14:21Speaker 1: way you did, just like bring us in on the mix.
- 14:25Speaker 5: Yeah, I think that was a little bit like people misunderstood,
- 14:28Speaker 5: like they I only they heard the message and more
- 14:31Speaker 5: so just the delivery of it, which like looking back,
- 14:33Speaker 5: like I don't like I was pretty proud that I
- 14:36Speaker 5: didn't like started through it all like it was pretty
- 14:37Speaker 5: good speech. But I think what was so jarring to
- 14:40Speaker 5: people is that no one was doing that in front
- 14:41Speaker 5: of everybody, like they're gonna have these conversations like the
- 14:44Speaker 5: hotel room on the side. So to go back, we
- 14:46Speaker 5: didn't leave Paradise. We didn't leave Costa Rica. We stayed,
- 14:49Speaker 5: had a nice like four days. It was like the
- 14:50Speaker 5: best part of paradise.
- 14:51Speaker 1: We were in poor Keith. I wanted to go home
- 14:53Speaker 1: so bad.
- 14:53Speaker 5: Yeah, and they just made a mistake. So we had
- 14:55Speaker 5: like four days together we spent which was amazing. But
- 14:58Speaker 5: when I had got to eliminated, I some information was
- 15:02Speaker 5: brought to me about the whole iPad situation. The cat
- 15:06Speaker 5: boyfriend who I ex boyfriend, but who I knew, but
- 15:11Speaker 5: it wasn't who I knew, but it wasn't like it
- 15:14Speaker 5: I get brought up in Paradise before, like wells had
- 15:16Speaker 5: heard about it early on, like this is like first
- 15:18Speaker 5: couple of days, first couple of weeks, Like other people
- 15:21Speaker 5: that had already got eliminated knew about it, and I
- 15:23Speaker 5: was asked, like what do I know. I was like, well,
- 15:25Speaker 5: I have no idea, but let me find out. So
- 15:27Speaker 5: when I made a phone call to him, he kind
- 15:28Speaker 5: of told me all the information. I was like, oh
- 15:30Speaker 5: my god, these people are coming after me for thinking
- 15:32Speaker 5: we're not like into each other and questioning our relationship
- 15:36Speaker 5: yet like this is going on in the background. So
- 15:39Speaker 5: I kind of looked around. I was like, all right,
- 15:40Speaker 5: well it's probably going to because we didn't know who
- 15:42Speaker 5: the final three couples were going to be. I'm like,
- 15:43Speaker 5: it's probably going to be either Bailey and Jeremy Caden Dale,
- 15:47Speaker 5: Andrew and Alex, or Justin Spencer, So whatever it's going
- 15:49Speaker 5: to be, And I really felt strongly that Justin Spencer
- 15:52Speaker 5: were the strongest couple and most deserving because we're giving
- 15:55Speaker 5: away technically we're at that time giving away half a
- 15:57Speaker 5: million dollars. I didn't want to see someone who was
- 16:00Speaker 5: doing some things in the whether before Paradise as we
- 16:03Speaker 5: got there or whatever, win half a million dollars. I've
- 16:05Speaker 5: been sick because like I wanted to win it. But
- 16:08Speaker 5: so when we came in, I was like, do I
- 16:09Speaker 5: want to have like these small conversations with people like
- 16:12Speaker 5: to the side, because I don't really want to do that,
- 16:15Speaker 5: Like I'd rather just get the information out there. You
- 16:16Speaker 5: guys can decide whether or not you believe it or
- 16:18Speaker 5: not and vote on that. And then like I wanted
- 16:20Speaker 5: to leave, like we were so done with Paradise at
- 16:22Speaker 5: that point to begin with. But it's more so it's
- 16:24Speaker 5: like I'm not afraid of if I'm like pretty direct,
- 16:27Speaker 5: So if I have something to say, like, I'm perfectly
- 16:29Speaker 5: okay standing up there and saying in front of everybody,
- 16:31Speaker 5: I don't need to go.
- 16:32Speaker 1: In a private room.
- 16:33Speaker 5: And I think people were like, why didn't you pull
- 16:36Speaker 5: like cad and Dale's side and have that conversation. And
- 16:38Speaker 5: the facts of the matter was at that moment, like
- 16:41Speaker 5: there's half a million dollars on the line. If I
- 16:42Speaker 5: tell them, hey, like you have to bring this up,
- 16:45Speaker 5: who knows how they're gonna spin it or downplay it
- 16:48Speaker 5: and then doesn't get the message across everybody else. So
- 16:50Speaker 5: people had a problem with like how I did it.
- 16:52Speaker 5: I also like, at the end of the day, like
- 16:54Speaker 5: if I'm going to say something, I'm perfectly okay saying
- 16:56Speaker 5: in front of everyone, I don't and also want a
- 16:58Speaker 5: TV show if I side conversations, guess what a million
- 17:02Speaker 5: people are gonna watch that on TV. It's gonna become
- 17:04Speaker 5: public information. Anyway, I'd rather just say to the sixteen
- 17:07Speaker 5: people there, and you know, that's kind of how it
- 17:09Speaker 5: went down.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Looking back, do you do you wish you would have
- 17:11Speaker 1: done it differently or.
- 17:14Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 17:14Speaker 5: It's tough because like you have like the reaction, and
- 17:16Speaker 5: I still don't think people are hearing like the message
- 17:19Speaker 5: of what I was saying because I didn't lie about that.
- 17:22Speaker 5: It's true. Also, Hannah Brown like broke off her engagement
- 17:25Speaker 5: for way less. I think more people were drawing about
- 17:28Speaker 5: the reaction, and I think that was a theme throughout
- 17:30Speaker 5: a lot of Paradise. Is like if you look at
- 17:32Speaker 5: the Bailey and Jeremy and Brian situation, like people are
- 17:35Speaker 5: reacting to the reaction, not the message itself. Like people
- 17:38Speaker 5: came after Brian for telling Bailey about the SUSI phone
- 17:41Speaker 5: call instead of looking at what Brian.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Was actually telling Bailey. Why is that you think it's tough?
- 17:46Speaker 5: I think that it's such a like pressure cooker in
- 17:50Speaker 5: this environment where like you, I don't think people loved
- 17:53Speaker 5: Brian to begin with, so like when he stepped a line,
- 17:55Speaker 5: people liked Jeremy and they just like attacked, And a
- 17:58Speaker 5: lot of the times there was all the big mob
- 18:00Speaker 5: mentality across the entire this time across the entire cast,
- 18:04Speaker 5: like once some person had an opinion, everyone else powed on.
- 18:08Speaker 5: Like I didn't feel like a lot of people had
- 18:09Speaker 5: their own like conviction in what was going on in Paradise.
- 18:13Speaker 5: They like to like almost like follow the leader in
- 18:15Speaker 5: a way, but no one was. Else was like trying
- 18:17Speaker 5: to step up and say what they actually thought. And
- 18:19Speaker 5: the same thing happened with like when I went back
- 18:21Speaker 5: and made that announcement, like you look at all the people,
- 18:23Speaker 5: like why would you say that. It's like, well, like
- 18:25Speaker 5: you're gonna do you want the information because like I think,
- 18:27Speaker 5: like I'm not the moral police. I'm not like they're
- 18:29Speaker 5: here for the right reasons. Guy like he come on
- 18:31Speaker 5: the show for whatever. I do think you have to
- 18:32Speaker 5: cut it off at a certain point, And I just
- 18:35Speaker 5: thought that was like a little bit out of line
- 18:36Speaker 5: in the context of a dating show. So I don't
- 18:39Speaker 5: really regret it. I think like at the end of
- 18:42Speaker 5: the day, like I got my message across. If you
- 18:44Speaker 5: don't like it, that's fine.
- 18:51Speaker 1: With Pinkberry. It is love at first Swirl big thanks
- 18:56Speaker 1: to Pinkberry, who has been serving up some of the

- 19:04Speaker 1: it's original Tart, pomegranate or their new white mocha is

- 19:19Speaker 1: love or let's be real. Just the fro YOUO. Pinkberry's
- 19:24Speaker 1: got your Happily ever After. Find a location near you
- 19:28Speaker 1: or order online at pinkberry dot com. What's it like then?
- 19:35Speaker 1: I mean, we're here with them right now. They are
- 19:38Speaker 1: just sitting in the seats that you're sitting in, like
- 19:42Speaker 1: I'm not the man you are, like, meaning like I
- 19:45Speaker 1: would trivele and be like, I don't want to go.
- 19:47Speaker 1: I'm so nervous. I don't want to see them. This
- 19:49Speaker 1: is going to be really awkward. I don't even be
- 19:51Speaker 1: around it. So what has it been like for you
- 19:53Speaker 1: too today to sit in the same space as them,
- 19:57Speaker 1: confront these conversations, but then also be hanging out and
- 20:03Speaker 1: you know, the lunch room with them.
- 20:06Speaker 4: I think I'll say two points on that. The first
- 20:09Speaker 4: is coming into today. I know my truth, I know
- 20:13Speaker 4: what I lived. And I think when you know the
- 20:16Speaker 4: truth and you're okay with it, what do I have
- 20:20Speaker 4: to worry?
- 20:22Speaker 3: I didn't have any reason to worry.
- 20:25Speaker 4: But also, I think it's a huge test to our characters,
- 20:30Speaker 4: all of us, staling Kat included.
- 20:32Speaker 3: I think that it takes big people to be able
- 20:34Speaker 3: to sit here.
- 20:34Speaker 4: And have these conversations and it's not easy, and yeah,
- 20:40Speaker 4: I think that the easy way out would be avoiding
- 20:42Speaker 4: them and not even approaching the subject or sitting at
- 20:45Speaker 4: the same lunch table. But I'm really proud of the
- 20:48Speaker 4: way we've all handled it and moved forward.
- 20:50Speaker 5: Yeah, I feel like it's helpful to like sit there
- 20:53Speaker 5: and like have these conversations hash it out. I feel
- 20:55Speaker 5: like we did that here and like now I feel
- 20:58Speaker 5: a lot better about the situation. And then I did
- 21:00Speaker 5: pride to coming in here because I will say I
- 21:02Speaker 5: did still hold some resentment towards a lot of the
- 21:05Speaker 5: people here, just because truthfully, not the only person that
- 21:08Speaker 5: reached out to me from the show where has been
- 21:09Speaker 5: like Brian and Jeremy. Like that's it. Like I haven't
- 21:12Speaker 5: talked to anybody really soides obviously Alicia. So like coming
- 21:15Speaker 5: in here, like I almost felt like, oh are they
- 21:17Speaker 5: Like like I almost felt like I was walking into
- 21:19Speaker 5: an ambush because I hadn't talk to these people for
- 21:21Speaker 5: so long. But it really wasn't that bad. I thought
- 21:23Speaker 5: it was good to have those conversations. And now, like
- 21:25Speaker 5: I wish like Dale and Cat the best, Like I
- 21:27Speaker 5: truly like I want them to work out. I want
- 21:28Speaker 5: them to to Oh, man, I'm excited to see the
- 21:33Speaker 5: next couple months with them. I think, like it's just
- 21:36Speaker 5: now getting started when you can be public and like
- 21:38Speaker 5: when you start spending more time with one another and
- 21:41Speaker 5: I push them the best.
- 21:43Speaker 1: I hope they work out.
- 21:44Speaker 5: That's what I'll say.
- 21:45Speaker 1: You think they will?
- 21:47Speaker 3: Yes?
- 21:49Speaker 1: Do you think you two ever have a chance of
- 21:50Speaker 1: working out? I've been trying.
- 21:52Speaker 5: She's just kidding, I will say, like it's it would
- 21:57Speaker 5: be really tough, I think for us, and like what
- 21:59Speaker 5: we foreign relationship to do long distance? So whether or
- 22:02Speaker 5: not our paths cross again, if we're in the same
- 22:04Speaker 5: city or back in Tampa in LA, like I think
- 22:06Speaker 5: we would, I would be open to exploring things again.
- 22:08Speaker 5: But I think like right now, like me being in
- 22:10Speaker 5: Tampa or in La, like we tried it, Like our
- 22:13Speaker 5: communication styles don't mix well with long distance at all.
- 22:16Speaker 5: Like I'm stubborn and she's stubborn and be like, oh,
- 22:18Speaker 5: she didn't text me back when she said to us,
- 22:20Speaker 5: so I'm not going to text her back like stuff
- 22:21Speaker 5: like that, which you know doesn't work long distance.
- 22:23Speaker 1: We wouldn't.
- 22:24Speaker 5: We don't have that in Tampa, like when we spent
- 22:25Speaker 5: the time together. It's always like, yeah, everything, it felt
- 22:28Speaker 5: like we were still in paradise. So yeah, I think
- 22:30Speaker 5: that's like, you know, we're focusing on our friendship right now,
- 22:33Speaker 5: but if something happens in the future, like we're gonna
- 22:35Speaker 5: we're gonn cross that bridge when we get to it.
- 22:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I think that's all said. I never say never.
- 22:41Speaker 1: I never said never, Never say never. That's how we're
- 22:43Speaker 1: gonna title this podcast. Yeah, guys, thanks for sitting down again.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Kudos to you for coming here today and confronting it
- 22:49Speaker 1: and sitting in it. And I do hope there's healing
- 22:51Speaker 1: from it and revelation from it, and that there is
- 22:54Speaker 1: a better understanding from it, and that all parties involved
- 22:57Speaker 1: can move forward in the healthiest and happiest ways for
- 23:00Speaker 1: all of you. I did think today was in a
- 23:02Speaker 1: lot of ways therapeutic. It wasn't always pretty, yeah, but
- 23:06Speaker 1: it got the point across for for so many. I
- 23:09Speaker 1: wish you the best, Alicia in your endeavors coming up,
- 23:13Speaker 1: whatever mystery those maybe I think an idea and Sean,
- 23:18Speaker 1: I hope to go off with you soon. You're looking
- 23:20Speaker 1: good in the green jacket.
- 23:21Speaker 5: It looks like thank you too, by the way, because
- 23:24Speaker 5: you've always I've always I've listened to you guys, and
- 23:26Speaker 5: you guys, you've always like shot U straight where you
- 23:28Speaker 5: kind of understand things and can can You always had
- 23:31Speaker 5: my back in a way, so I appreciate that one.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Ashley. It didn't always have my back, so I you
- 23:37Speaker 1: know what, sometimes it doesn't come off like that. But
- 23:40Speaker 1: my hope is to never This is my hope as
- 23:43Speaker 1: a bachelor. Nobody would ever come into that house and
- 23:46Speaker 1: be upset that they did it. Nothing more. Same thing here.
- 23:49Speaker 1: I hope you don't come on the Almost Famous podcast
- 23:51Speaker 1: and go, gosh, dang it. I wish I would have
- 23:52Speaker 1: never agreed to it. It's it's not the place for that.
- 23:57Speaker 3: So we love talking to you.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you until next time. I've been been. Talk
