Transcript
- G.K. Wallace (00:00) I was discussing with a man by the name of Charles Jessup, a Pentecostal preacher who claimed that he had the power of the Holy Spirit to speak directly from God. If I had believed that, wouldn't have argued with him. Man be a fool to argue with God. That took this passage in Ephesians 4 and 13, that these miraculous powers were set in the church until the unity of the faith. I wrote up a neat testament and said, this all the faith? if it is Miraculous Power ceased. He came to the microphone and said, that these will stay until the unity of all believers. Until everybody believes alike, there will always be these miraculous powers. That's not what the Bible says, but that's what he says. But that's what the New International Version says.
