- Declan Toland: Hi Garrett, how are you keeping? Very good, very good. Delighted to be here. You're very, very welcome to On Your Own Time Podcast. we've been actually talking over and back for a long time now. We have, yeah. Bit too much now. Yeah. people are getting worried about why we've got so you're a b you're a very busy man and obviously the success you're doing at the moment and and obviously leaving the guards and all that move from your new business. So a lot of people know ya. Yeah. but they don't know who the real guard is. Yeah, yeah. So we'll take it back and Who are you? I suppose I'm someone that's extremely energetic. For most people would know that, but for the ones that don't, I've always been I've been quite hyperactive if you want to put it that way. I'm just an energetic person. I'm quite bubbly, quite happy. I'm a very ha what what do you call it? glass half full kind of guy. yeah, that's that's who I am. Obviously I've been going through the guards. I was a guard for five years. I worked in the hospitality industry, I've done nearly every job that possibly could. I've been college everything, absolutely everything across the board. So yeah, happy go lucky kind of all over the place kind of guy. You're a very bubbly guy anyway. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So take us back a small bit, so take it back to small where are you actually from? You're from Atlona? From Atlone, yeah, from Atlone. So I'm over in Cornemadi. So I'm living there Jesus what ten, fifteen years. Originally from Galway. and I was in Galway for three or four years and then on Tatham Rye after that. So yeah, Atlone Man, that's where I am. But you're you're originally from Galway. Galway actually Galway, yeah. My mother's from the UK. My dad's from Dublin, so we're all over. Some people say about the accent. My accent's a bit weird but We'd say where I'm I'm from actually on that phone as well, but in a proper towny proper in the middle of town we say you're a posh side would you? wouldn't yeah, I don't know. They do say that, don't they? Guards where I'm from they wouldn't join the guards anyway. They wouldn't be joining the guards. They probably don't Well I I don't know, yeah, I mean yeah, I suppose it if they want to call it that way, yeah. But I don't know, I I suppose I I've always had friends from all sides, the the mad madmen and then the ones, barristers, solicitors to all sides. I suppose everyone's the same to me. As as long as you're good to me, I'm good to you kind of thing. So it didn't really matter what side people were from, but Yeah. what we like growing up? wild. here we go. I was. It was well. I I I loved to have a few pints. I haven't drank in seven years. I just got sick of drinking doing the same thing. But I had my I loved my party life. I loved pints. I loved going down and having Guinness and nuts, going out to the nightclub. I play played for the Buccaneers actually for the Buccaneers. Years and years and years of very good and old embedded. Absolutely brilliant. And unfortunately I started smoking cigarettes at the time and drinking, so I gave that up. But I was still into the gym, not too much into the gym now. I'm seeing myself here on camera and it's shocking me. But anyways, but yeah, so th that's what I I I've been obviously with sports and stuff within within that zone also, so it's great. Yeah, no, you I actually I actually remember you growing up, you were a PT as well growing up. Yeah, personal trainer. So I'm actually quali qualified personal trainer and fitness instructor. So I I've managed to get that and I I did quite well. Like I didn't it's a lot of people don't know that because I took on a like private clients and people have said to me, I never even knew you do that and I'm like, Yeah, I know you didn't because a lot of the people that I was dealing with were either older or they just didn't want people known or said, Do you mind if you don't say to anyone that I'm you're helping me out and stuff and I never took payment. That's another thing. I've never ever taken a cent off people because I would always money means not I it doesn't mean nothing, but it doesn't mean a lot to me. I'd rather you owe me a favor and go, Hey, if I'm if you're ever stuck then you're there for me because cash is gone once it's once it's ac it's accepted. Where the favour can always be there. And I know that favour has stood by me because my business isn't just doing well because of the innovation of the technology that we ha we've built. It's also by people that have owed me favours years ago and I Hey, is there any chance that you could do that? Absolutely, Gareth. Absolutely. So, you know, it's as they say, giving it forward kind of thing. That's mad because I actually did a video, I tried to do a video online the other day and absolutely shit. Yeah. Talking to a form. Really? Yeah, brutal. I can I can hear I can't chat with you, no bottom of water. That's because you're bouncing back and forward though. That's the thing that the people say to me, How do you how do you do it so naturally on online? And like I have a few mess up videos. I'll be like, Hey, how are th how god have to start again? you just do it like you're talking to a crowd of people. That's th I always imagine I'm talking to a crowd of people. I need to tell them what's going on. They don't know, so I need to fill them in on everything. Yeah. I think what the video was all all about. Like when I was growing up it was always about helping people out and helping each other out. I think the new generation is going clear. Do you know what? I don't I don't know because it it's i it's like each and every individual is different. I I I suppose a big thing it now is that there are a lot of people that tend to just want loads of help and don't want to give anything back. But I think if if you are giving out help you have to expect nothing because in many ways it's true you won't get anything back. So you kinda do it just going, I'm I'm not expecting it and then you're shocked when you get it back. So yeah, I suppose there are a good few people. I've been very lucky. A lot of people have stood by me, a lot of people have w offered to help, I've been willing to help, but there's been no negativity. Even if there is, I don't care, as I said, there's nothing you could say to me a hundred percent. There's nothing for someone could say to me to upset me, especially someone from the guards have heard it all. You know what I mean? Like what are you gonna say to me that some lad that's been lifted hasn't Yeah. So you joined the guards. So what age when you joined the guards? I was twenty God, what age was I I think my full career was a act Over, I think nearly six and a half years because we have to go the tr it have to do with training also. So you're doing the training, you're out in I was in Ross Common for three months, and then from Ross Common I went over to Leaksip. So I think I was around twenty five, twenty six when I got in, and I loved it. I thought it was brilliant. The only thing I didn't like about the guards, and I've said this many times, is just the paperwork, it's astronomical. I always have the greatest respect for guards. every time I see a guard, it's so funny, I always have a chat with them. And most either they have seen me online, they know me, or they know something about me. They're like, geez, I've seen you somewhere. it's always I've seen you on TikTok though, I think. And and I go I I always have the the utmost respect 'cause I know that every single instant, everything that they get is always going back to paper. Do you know what I mean? So I'm like, great career, had a great time, made some great friends, you can give me double I won't go back to Actually bad because because of I work with a fella in the barracks, like I mentioned Mr. Two Podcasts. He's the next guard as well. Really? He went from the army to the guard. Yeah. No way. For how long? Using the guards to come up for years. No way. And a lot of army lads make that mistake. They say they'll be like, you know, I want to go to the guards because I want the blue lights and sirens and then they get in and go, But I didn't realise I was gonna do paperwork every day. Like I spent most of my career sitting behind a a bloody desk doing paperwork. You get out for a couple of hours, do your whatever and then you're back doing the paperwork. And like I look at policing in a different way. I'd prefer to do policing as in a bare minimum of Like obviously with some big investigation you have to do quite a lot of paperwork. obviously C C T V get statements and stuff like that, that's fine. But just for smaller things like that, I just believe it's it should be a quick little fill in the box kind of thing. It's the time, day, place that it happened and that should be the end of it. There's just a lot like we need lads out on the road. but I'm not gonna get into that 'cause yeah, forget about that one. Yeah, down a rabbit hole. The guards is fantastic. I love the job. I was happy with it. and I actually don't have any Some people have massive complaints. They didn't like it. They didn't like this. The worst thing that I can say about it is the fact that I just didn't want to do all the paperwork all the time. If they reduced that, would I still be in it? Probably not, 'cause my goal was to build business. I always wanted to build a business, you know, but I just didn't want to do the paperwork eyes either in the garden. It's astronomical, you know. Really was like it's something that just I remember sitting there one night going, Why am I here doing this? I wanna be out. I wanna be out looking for people, I wanna be out like actually preventing any crime, like prevention is better off than catching someone. It's better that You stop three burglaries then going down and dealing with three burglaries 'cause now you're off the road. Do you know? It's that fellow telling you about we were put back from Army Range in Gormont. Seven or seven or half seven, isn't it? Seven, yeah. So there's a c no an accident car crash, twenty to seven. Yeah. And he was like, absolute raging Yeah, yeah. It's so true, yeah. Well no, like see Again, this comes you as a as a a soldier, like sergeant, you would know yourself. It's not that lads are raging. It's just it always s seems to happen at the wrong time. Like it's like you're going home, you have something planned for eight or nine that evening and then you get st you get stuck with a an incident, you're like, god Like a road traffic incident can be thirty seconds or it can be six hours. It all depends on the the incident. Like you could go down and it's it's a a minor collision. And it's just swap over your details to do a bit of investigation to see what it was anyone at fault and then whatever. But obviously if there's neck injuries, if there's any injuries whatsoever, it becomes just the ambulance has to come. Then you're obviously taking all the all the notes, you're taking pictures, you're taking a sketch, you're doing follow ups like all. Just becomes hours and hours and hours and hours and hours where you're gone from quarter to seven, you're nearly out the door to now you're there until nine or ten o'clock. And they're humans as well, like their families, kids. hundred percent. Yeah, I loved getting home. Like that that that's another thing. Like my personal I'm extras so funny, like I'm extremely busy now. Like I've worked every single day. I funny enough I've worked since January. People don't believe that, but I've worked since January. I was doing the guards for five months for six months up until we actually decided to fully go out. I decided to fully go out and leave the job and go into this full time. So I was doing my four on, four off and then I was going in to do sorry, sleeping two or three hours, genuinely. two or three hours and I was going sending emails to the sort to the manufacturer, getting just more details. We went through a whole phase where we we got three bad suppliers. We went through suppliers first, realized it was an absolute waste of time to buy generic machines and then we went to a man manufacturer. It cost us a lot more. So I was dealing with a lack of sleep, obviously my own personal life, with everything trying to get out and do stuff and socialise and all that and then working it was just my God, it's full on So Yeah. But a of people probably think that it's when you have a business it's all it's all easy rosy like it No it's not. Yeah, it's the furthest thing from it. Like no no look This is where this is where it's a bit strange with me because coming from the guards where I was stressed nearly all the time, where you're naturally stressed because of the things you're dealing with, and then leaving that job where like you could get ranged you're meant to be in court today, get up to court, do this, do that, like you're constantly on fight fight and flight and stress all the time, twenty four seven in the guard. Because you're like, did I forget something? Because you're dealing with real people, real investigations, serious investigations. Do you know what I mean? to now going into my own business where I can mess up. I don't want to, but I can. So I'm actually so relaxed now compared to what I was. Extremely relaxed. Am I very busy? Yeah, I'm up the bloody odds. Every single day. Like people go, Saturday and Sunday are off. Saturday and Sundays can be my busiest day, especially Sunday because People want to meet you when you're free and then the Sunday ends up becoming free. So now you've done a full day of Sunday and then you're going into your Monday. And Monday everyone's back again at it. So you've spent the whole weekend just catching up on other people that want to deal with you. Like even podcasts and stuff like that or interviews. or let's say the papers, for example, and then you're coming into the week and you're just boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, and then you're dealing with clients obviously that you'll have to go down and refill the stocking the the stations or they might have an internet issue or you might have follow ups with the hospitals. We've loads hospitals at the moment coming in and they're huge. Like they're absolutely brilliant. So yeah, the the the whole workload and the stress and everything has changed dramatically. It's still there but completely different. Like I'm not I'm very happy. I'm very everything is great at the moment. I was happy in the guards but it was a different level of stress. You're dealing with real people, real situations, real consequences if you don't do your job to a high standard. To now going, Yeah, if if I miss this today, it's it's not life changing but No, it's okay, but I wouldn't like to. There's a lot of negative around the guards at the moment. Yeah. Do you know what? the the main I said Do you know what? Like th it there's negative around everything. Do do I think that they have a retention issue? Maybe. I I know that there's a lot of people trying to go in and stuff like that, but like I don't I don't really know the figures properly properly to kind of delve into it. But Yeah, as I said, like I know people will come on here and say, I hate the guards, I love the guards, I love my career, I hate them my career. Again, it goes back to personal experiences. You know, each and every person goes into that job differently. It's you say in my job, like some lads in the army would say, I hate this job. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Exactly. Fighting they create if you're going in with a negative attitude, you're gonna get a negative outcome. I've said that all the time. I used to go into work and all my funny enough actually a lot of my colleagues are quite supportive. They all follow my doc guy page like it's amazing. I go when I go into work, I'm wondering, guys, the lads used to go, How are you so awake at quarter to seven? How are you so alert and ready to go? I'm like, I'm after driving an hour, I'm ready to rock. Let's go, lads. I'd have a kind of monster. I swear to God, yeah, yeah. I had a a kind of monster beginning, let's go. Woo! And we'd be we'd be raring to go on at seven o'clock, I'd be like, Right, we'll get out the door. We'd have to go on the computer, just check any incidents, do a few updates. do a few notes, whatever you want, and I'm like, right, let's go, let's go. Seven AM. I didn't care. I was out that bloody door. If we could get out, we'd get out straight away. But yeah, I was always like that. I was a wired of it now when it came to that. It was absolutely amazing. But look, as I said again, it's my experience. I looked at I looked at life and the job very differently. I was very happy to go in and just be like very smiley. Even if I had a crap day, I was stressed a bit, so I still like, my God, it's gonna go under but it's fine. You know Yeah remember the first time you were abused as a guard? This is a big one. I rarely got abused as a guard. I'm I'm t I've never used my pepper spray, I'd never use my bat. You're just you're a typical Irish. Old school. very I was like, why I I remember s I I've said to a couple of people, Why why are you going to argue? What's the point? Like I said, let's just make this as smooth as possible. I said, if you're hungry and you we need to get food, that's fine. We'll do whatever we need to but I said, I don't want to be arguing with this. I just want to deal with this. We'll get you through whatever that's the end of it. Like, you know, I I was very lucky. I only had one lad tell to F off one day. he was drunk disorder whatever but like I've never had anything any stress like th there's there's never there's not a particular incident where I'd be like, my god genuine I I was very lucky I'm very I talked to everyone I'm like I don't want to be dealing with this as in I don't want to shout. There's no point I'll you lower your voice. The same if I start shouting at you now you're gonna shout at me. Yeah. It's that simple and people don't realise that. But yeah I was very lucky. I got very lucky. You went from Ross Common to Leaks. Yeah. I was training. So training in Ross Common. Well Leakslift would be Dabby. big massive difference, wouldn't it? No, not really. No, I f I found that I found that Roscommon was amazing, like some of the best guards ever. They're so such cracked. And then going to Leaksup. Leaks up I loved Leaksup. Lo Leaksup is a great station. Seriously. It's a really, really good station. We'd we'd be we like even the area, the people you're dealing with are just lovely. Like seriously, so nice. And the like genuine I know people s some people probably probably go, he he's he's just saying that. Genuinely. Like If I had something bad to say about it, I would. I'd like, I wasn't happy about that. I like the area. I like the people. Like you look at Leak drive up to Leaksip. It's a beautiful area. Minute is a beautiful area. We never had problems with college students apart apart from the drunk thing where they're bananas and looking for a phone charge. That was all the time and that's how Duck Hive was developed. But for you Do you wanna go buy a Duck Eye? Duck Hive didn't even exist then. But yeah, great, great place. It was a long distance, it was an hour off. I was living in Lucan at the time. I sorry, I just r rented a I was actually staying in Jockey in my out auntie's house for six months and then I moved over to Lucan and that was amazing. I had Lucan there and I was living there ever since. It was great. And actually one of my friends who's a guard also is now living in my old house. So great. Yeah. So overall everything was great. I loved I loved Leaksub. if put it this way, if I was to go back to the job again and I now would 'cause I my business is doing great, thank God. But if I was, I would go back to Leeds. Definitely. Hundred percent. So the decision came, so just before decision. So how long were you doing Doc Hive and in the garden? jeez, since Jan so before before Doc Hive actually started up, we were looking at kind of ideas. The the whole idea came to me about obviously a young girl that came up and said, my phone's dead and I was Grant, give me your phone give me your dad's or friend's phone number. I don't know it. That's fine. You don't know your friend's phone number, that's cramped. Give me your your friend's phone or your mother's phone number. I don't know it. What? Okay, give me your dad's phone number. I don't know what. I was like, what? How do you not know your your family's or your friends' phone numbers? Like, what's your address? I don't know, I don't know. I was like, What how are we what what do we do here? Like you she had no idea where anyone or anything was. So I usually have power banks in the car because I'm I'm I don't know why I just love power banks. I love I all my phones are always charged. And we just I didn't have the power banks in the car, we'd nut them back at the station. We didn't even have a bloody charger. And I was saying to myself, I actually don't know what to do here. Like I'll ask the same question to you, what do you do? Yeah. We'd be lost without a phone. What what do you do? No charger, no phone battery, no cable. We doesn't have any information relation to that and isn't isn't i in a dangerous to themselves or other. They can't be arrested for no reason. So you're kinda stuck in a catch twenty two, right? We need to help this person. Wha what what do we do? Like well what do you do? You can't you can't obviously arrest someone for no reason. Like so we weren't gonna do that. So our priority number one was to help. Now eventually obviously try our friends that came back and we found the friends or whatever. But it just got me thinking, like Doc Hive the before Doc Hive we we need to do something or I want to do something that we can actually put out on the streets in the pubs where everyone has access to them. And then obviously this started getting developed and then eventually when we'd done a few test tr trials and tests, I realised there was actually a competitor up in Dublin. And it just happened to go for a meeting and seen it there and rented it and it was washed terrible. So bad. Genuine. I plugged my phone in and took nearly two hours to get half a charge. I like, This is ridiculous. So I was like, Right, we can definitely do better. I we as I said, we went through three suppliers initially, waste of time, they were crap. We brought them over, they lied to us, all this stuff. I said, Right, we're just gonna pay the price, go through through a proper manufacturer and the manufacturer was to I mean, I I was only off on the on a call with her this morning and she's amazing. They're Brilliant. Seriously, when you get a proper OEM factory where they are to a high standard, they're absolutely brilliant. And you are gonna get like what we have the quality of DocCive. DocCive is amazing. We're we've so much more coming with this. But yeah, that's how DocCive got developed. That's how the whole in the whole thing kind of slow slowly got to grow and where we end up coming, how we end up getting them to the manufacturer we had rather than going through a generic supplier. It's true what they say. You pay for quality. Yeah, and we do pay for it. It's it's pricey. I'm not like someone had said to me before about you're delighted when people buy them. No. Like we don't we we're not making massive money. People think we're we're bloated, we're not. We're we you get a charge for four euro and that's it. It's four euro. So you need a lot of people to pay four euro to even start paying a salary. Like if you think about it, you need a lot of machines just to even start break even. So Other companies are obviously doing two to four sorry, doing two to three hours worth of a charge. So they'll they're making more money, but our brand is more reputable that you know if you come in and rent a doctor it's gonna be charged immediately, or rather than this slow generic stuff. So we pay a lot more but we also we our our company as you see already it is blowing up. It's like what and half a million views on the page within less than three months, like it's it's insane. It's crazy. But even since the last time we talked like the la we talked a few weeks ago and your page has grown. Absolutely. It is. It's going absolutely it's it's crazy. And and that's the thing, like and one person had said to me recently, like, I really love your page. what's the re why why would I follow it? Like just a general general question. I said that's a very good point, because while we are a power bank rental company and you're seeing me, we're not selling a product currently. Now there is one thing and a reason why people should follow the page. We are gonna start set selling the most or i up to the most advanced power bank co power banks in the country. one of them are a guy a brand that we really like is Anchor. You know Anchor? Anchor. So we're going to be going along the s the same lines as them, or even if not better. That's so that's one thing that I want people to know very clearly, a hundred percent we will be going. We're already that's already in talks. We've one of the best manufacturers in the world that we're dealing with at the moment. That is depth. going to happen. That's not a maybe. Just explain that a bit more. What what is that? So anybody doesn't know what anchor is, what is anchoring? So anchor is a power bank it it's actually it's a technology company that does like say power banks, car chargers, they do cameras, they do an array of things. But the main thing that obviously we're focusing on is the quality of their batteries. Like there's a lithium ion battery and it's just it's just so strong and powerful and it can generate a lot of electricity with a smaller capacity battery. People think they're all the same, they're not. Again it comes back to quality and quantity. and that that's what we want. We wanna kind of we want to match their standards but we also want to we don't need to beat them. This thing of beating everyone. But we want to that's the standard we like, that's the standard we wanna get to and that's the standard we're aiming for. So if that means paying 150 euro for a power bank for us to do and we have to sell it more, but it's when you buy it, you know it's quality, it's going to work, then that's fine. It won't be hundred and fifty. That's just an example. Then that's what we're going to do because I you can go into t what is it, pennies? Jesus. And buy a power bank for I think it was eight euro. it was terrible. Just buy one, it's shocking. Actually, do you know what you do? Go in and buy one, I'll give you a doc guy for free. Just to We actually, in the army we we live on these. Yeah. So like we for an X raise for a week, we need power bank. We want power bank. Exactly. Yeah, well congratulations. There you go. Thanks very much. Thanks. Thanks. We'll try it. No, we'll I'll try it out. I'm actually on a course at the moment and maybe this is what I say to everyone. Depending on the phone you can get up to two and a half charges. I say about one and a half, two charges depending on the phone. So it's it's really getting missed. It's like it's the same as a car engine. Like one liter is gonna do whatever and a two liter's gonna do it. So it all depends on the phone. As you see I've two of the S twenty six and the S twenty five or four ultra. With them it'll charge them rapid enough but it all depends on the on how long and how if I'm using it while I'm whatever. So I'd use that as a habit in your ruts rucksack. You're going up on the mountains or whatever and you need a quick charge that day, boom, that'll that'll get you past the line. What I do is force them on. I give it out to three or four different people. Yeah. Charge it up. Yeah. And we get different views on it. Absolutely. Yeah. Yep. Hundred percent. A hundred percent, yeah, yeah. And then g any of that feedback and data that you have sent to me because we can use that and we can make them stronger. We could do if we could get on to the the the lad's the what are they called? that bring in stuff for the military. We could look at doing orders for them. Like that's very possible depending on what they can order and what they want. Yeah, but it it's it's good because like I said we use it a lot around. so take us back a swab I we're jumping back. no you're fine, yeah. But the day so you made a decision to leave the guard and then go full on botlife. Yeah, full on. So that day was that was a big day because just a couple of days I mean I was about a week or two weeks before I said, Right, this is doing very well. This isn't just doing well, this is doing very well. I hadn't even a social media page on and I was getting messages. It was crazy. People had messaged me, one girl in particular had said, Garrett, these are amazing. my god, it's so good. And then I got a media guy contact me and say, Hey, I've heard a lot about this. I was like, What the hell? Why is media contacting me? So we haven't got we haven't even a social media page. Then we put did a website and the website went to number one on Google. If you look at Dock Type Dolly, it's number one. No, sorry, not Doc Type. Powerbank Rental Ireland. It's number one. So that's where I went, right, this is sat down with the family. I said, I'm gonna take the risk, I'm gonna leave. I can always go back to the guards if I if I want to. Are you willing to stand by me? Like I i is is Is everyone on board? And they Yeah, you were only gonna do five years, weren't you? So took the leap of fate, sent in my resignation, they were fine with it. They said, Okay, that's fine. I had a good chat with my sergeant. He's like, That's no bother, that's fine, do what you gotta You know what's come back to the worst comes to worse. And yeah, took the leap of faith and I went boom and lads, I'm not joking when I say that. I went apps every contact I had on the planet I contacted. I had the media contact me, the paper contact me, the radio contact me, iRadio contact me sorry not iRadio, at Lone Radio first, iRadio then Midlands literally it just went boom. Lads were like, Why are you leaving the guards? You're mad. I was like, said, Trust me, if you're looking at what I'm looking at, you will see why I'm leaving 'cause the next question I was gonna ask I know you said your family supports your friends. Any of your colleagues Yeah, no, my my one one girl, I won't mention her because obviously she's a serving guard. But one girl in particular, I absolutely adore her, she's lovely. she was a colleague of mine in Leaksip and she has shared support of my page since the very beginning. A lot of the lads still follow the page. I only had another colleague of mine follow me recently. So they're all they're all standing by me. They all know like it i you either want to stay in it or not. Like there's no vengeance or there's no jealousy. Well not that I could see. I've had everyone supportive. Like I was told when you're going into this whole media thing that you're gonna get this. I've gotten none of it. Maybe because I'm an ex-guard, maybe people just don't want to give me hassles. Maybe. Or maybe they're just couldn't be arse like, you know, I don't know. But no. A lot of support and I'm very grateful for my colleagues that have shared and d done everything, just commented and got me out there and put me on their story and everything. So yeah, a lot of support, thank God. What's the biggest mistake you've made with Doc Like so far? that's a good one. I like that. I love when I love when people give me a solid question. a biggest mistake. Biggest mistake. Hmm. Don't really have one. I suppose the amount of market research and the amount of development we did put it before we launched this. I can tell you the biggest mistake we did before we officially got ducky. The biggest actually there was it maybe a different maybe we can call it a mistake. There was two things. One was we ordered three different generic machines that you can just order online, they're off a supplier, they're just pre built ones. And I'd cancel them because they were just absolutely shocked and when I read about them properly and actually did the research. They were shocking. That was one big mistake because that cost us a couple of grand and then it took a long time for the money to come back. So we were down a lot of money and we're spending a lot of money. And then on the other one, we actually instead of the brand name for Dock Hype was actually Power Dock before, but a Power Dock can be plugged into the wall, so it was trademarked the bits. so that was kind of another mistake. We had to go back, get solicitors, change over, change the trademark. I got EU IPO grants, it wasn't too bad for that. So the biggest mistake I suppose is thinking I knew it all. at the start and then going, God, I need to do so much more research. I did a lot. I'm very good at doing research, but I didn't do it to the point I should have done it. I was like, God, I definitely should do a lot more here. And that's when I went, Right, that's why at the moment I'll research things a thousand times now before I bite the bullet because it's just worth it. Would I say a bit O C D? Yeah, definitely. hundred percent. So a hundred percent. As I said, once I do something I do it. I do it I just do it like Like genuine I I was I'd a sea or sinus infected the last two days. Even now I'm drained, I've been in bed for a for a lot of the time and I just can't stop going. I need it to be perfect, I need all the banks to be full in the machine, I need the software to be working. I if if a machine is offline I have to go down, like I went to the attack room, they did a Wi Fi issue, it's straight away I was down, put in a sim car, boom, it's up and running again, but So like your s your salesman? Yeah. You're okay. Fixing everything. yeah. So I do the whole lot, absolutely everything. The only thing I don't do. I don't know, I just love it. Like I do I do it with my family in the car sometimes. I'll go for a drive together. Like I'm very family oriented. I just do it. Like I just I remember it's all for me. Every single step that I take is pushing my business forward. It's really enjoyable. And that's the biggest mistake I suppose people make in life is like you've said it yourself. Sometimes I'm like, you know, you'd be worried about doing this, that and the other like I was like I it doesn't have to be so perfect but I want it perfect and I can try and make it perfect and eventually it'll be sorta perfect. You know, it's never going to be the most smooth run business on the planet, but if I just take all those steps it's gonna do well and so far it's everything I've done. But the only thing is I've worked every single day, like even even on my on my young else's birthday, like I was doing something, you know, so that that that I suppose there was a wise thing that I read read before and it said sometimes at dinner you just have to put down your phone and some of the most successful men in the world had said that that's how they lost their partners because they didn't take a minute to just stare and look at them and actually engage with them. And I've had fellow colleagues and I've had people say to me, Gareth that my my partner said it before, like put down the phone and actually you're in the room but you're not there. And so I've been taking that advice too, but I have worked every day. It's a good point, Garrett, because I think in in any job, the guards, the army, the having a business. You have ten thousand things going through your head. Yeah, and you you forget. You d you but you you want you want like I know like you, I try to do everything to the best of my ability and I want people to to see that I'm giving like you don't want if someone says the business is failing or he's shit in his job it's not going to effort in. Yeah. That that kill Yeah, I know we'll I'd rather someone say he's a prick. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. So but like in our jobs in terms of the guards in the army, we we have we're doing everything for our our job. Which everything you do is for me. And that's why I th that's that's a major thing that I think out of anything that anything that anyone is gonna take out of this is that when you're doing it for yourself, it's yeah, it can be harder. As I said, for me it's genuine I found the paperwork in the guards a lot harder than this now. That's just being honest. But everything you do is for yourself and every success. Now every failure also. But I don't look at failure. Like I I'd be strange. I to me everything's bubbly. Life is great. I'm very lucky. Life is happening. Like and that's just the way I look at life. Everything is great. I'm very lucky. I got to drive here in my car today. I've not one phone, I've two. It's great. Like like I look at all these things and it's not that I have any money. It's just that these is such a privilege. The fact that I sorry, I'm just switching. I I it I this is a fact that I can do all of this stuff and I can have all of this stuff and it's just a privilege to even be able to drive a bloody car here. Like and I don't know why I look at life like that. It's maybe it's mum, maybe it's something but I'm just I'm very I'm very positive with everything, you know. And did you ever have lows? yeah I've had lows, yeah, absolutely. Sleepless nights and everything, yeah, I've had but my my as my partner would say, my sleep my my lows are in my own head but thriving forward. Like I'll always be smiling and laughing but I'll be like in in my head kinda going God, I need get out of this ru like I don't have I wouldn't be depressed. I wouldn't have I wouldn't be extremely sad. I'd be I'd be worried sometimes about like when we're dealing with investigation, I'm like, God, what do I need to do to have everything core a a big one core? you'd be like, right, I a hearing tomorrow, what do I need to bring? help me God. even with the even with the the interview today with Cork ninety six FM like just before I answered the phone, literally I seen it ringing, I go, here we go You know, just in case I mess up, I don't wanna swear on air. But from depression sad or any of that, no ninety percent slander quite happy. No, I and like I think that you're a bubbly person. Yeah, we always say everybody has loads. Like everybody has them days, shit, I don't wanna do this or shit, I'm not in the mood for this today. We said how training. Yeah, exactly. Don't wanna train till but everybody has them. I wanted to ask that question. Well I another thing I want to add with that is that a big major part of people I suppose being individuals that like I deal with my stress and my anxiety and that whatever I have depending on the day. a lot different to what someone else was. And this is why I always find it quite strange when someone goes, man, you just have to look at life better and you have to look like I'm happy and I look at life in a very positive way. But when someone goes, You just have to be happy man, look at life, great everything that you don't know what's going on with that person's life. You don't know how that person you know finds happiness or what creates happiness. And now you're telling them on what makes you happy to make them happy. Like it's like foods, I'm not gonna eat the same but you could enjoy one thing and I'll ha absolutely hate it. So it's the same with happiness. Like you this whole thing of you just have to think happy is a lot of whatever. Some something that could change someone and make someone happy is the fact that now they don't have to walk an hour just to get to work. Not that this happens to anyone, but if it does, they get a car for five hundred dollars and now they're working. Now the whole life has changed. Where you're just driving to work, everything go, will you stop being so miserable? You know so Different ways to look at it. That's definitely. Okay, for the main reason we're kinda here, okay, we're talking about Duck Eye. We can talk briefly about how you started. Yeah. Okay, so you left the guards your first day as a as a how how would it say first day? Flat out gate. Seriously, like genuinely, like horses going out, that's off, just to let you know. Yeah. Yeah, so how how did it feel? it was amazing. It was it was surreal in many ways because I'd said to myself, I was like, my god, I can't believe I'm actually the the managing director of my own company. I wasn't paid for a lot of the time because I d I I didn't want to pay myself. my business partners like you can pay yourself. I'm like, No, I don't want to because again it comes back to every penny that came into the company was going towards more machinery, more stuff like So I actually own it people don't know this, I own it officially paid myself two weeks ago. First time I've seen Yeah. well we this is another thing that we won't get too much into. But we did a a a very good savings. Very good. Yeah. We were we were very myself and my business partner were in a very good financial decision. I knew that we were gonna I was gonna leave the job eventually. I was saving about two hundred and three hundred dollars a week. even with l living in Dublin, like I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't go out, me and my partner live very minimal. That's what I'm saying. Like I don't spend anything. Like I don't need to spend any money. I have a laptop it works fine. I have a car it works fine. I have a a phone it works fine. I didn't need to I was paying rent in Dublin and food, but I was living below minimum like deathly what I was actually spending. So we had we had a lot of we had a lot of cash available. A lot. which is unusual for people but we We kinda knew and going in with a business partner, Liam Regan, who actually is my business partner, be the business already. So we were he did he'd a lot of cash together, so it just worked. Everything fell in line. if just to to jump on that actually, if I was to go into debt for this business, and I think this is extremely relevant for anyone that's thinking of doing a power bank business, if you're going into debt for this, get ready for a lot of pain. That we spent tens of thousands more money than we thought more cash than we thought we would. my god, tens of thousands. Seriously. It went from a couple of grand to tens of thousands with getting more shipment, more machines, more card machines, different parts, more power bank to people buying them when they weren't meant to be buying them because we had the deposit so low. Like we went from literally sent we spent like twelve and a half thousand on another order. It was crazy. So if you were in debt already you were you wouldn't do it. You'd you'd fail unfortunately. And was there a point there you're like fuck what we have to do. No, no, never like that. No, no. I'm delighted. Like I I I we're spending a lot of cash. We're spending nearly thirty thousand tomorrow to buy more machines. So no, it's it's not a thing of again, this is cash that we have at home. It's not, it's not a my god, what am I doing? It's I don't look at it that way. I'm like, this is going to be big. I'm I say this to everyone. This is going to be a recognized brand in Ireland. I'm going to make it a recognised brand. This isn't a maybe could fill yeah code it's not going to I'm not gonna allow it to. If I have to go into every radio station in the country, every T V show, every RTE representative, absolutely everyone to make this brand succeed, I'm going to do it. I don't care. There's there's literally no limit to the the the the level of effort I'm gonna put into to getting this brand out there and also the quality side of it's already proven to do well. So no there's no No regret. Drive your drive is is actually mad. I'm only off the radio by the way for well half to ten o'clock today. No and and the my podcast about stories and what people trauma people went through and yeah and like businesses. So I want it to be open, I want it to be broad. Yeah, you're the ideal person to have the cards, you're a local map from Maton. Yeah. And I'm even looking at the case. Yeah. And look how small and co like di so w they can see the video. yeah, so perfect. So there's the there's the the dockhive brand and obviously we've cables and we we'll just kinda go into the whole dockhive and the power bank. So this is a smaller, more compact. So a lot of brands will just buy the cheaper, larger because the larger capacity batteries are cheaper cheaperly made. These are more compact. They've got a button on the side if you wanna check the the the how how charged it is. As you can see it's a hundred percent. The different colours represent different loads. It'll go to from green, purple, it'll go down to orange and then red. So it's there's a there's a meaning. I wanted the the lights. People are like, no, why would you get the lights? I love them. You can charge it if you buy it at home. There you go. So there's the option to charge it and buy at home. And then we also have integrated three cables for any phone at all in the country that wants to get a charge. And the biggest thing about those cables is that we pay more for a larger cable because people don't a lot of people may not know this. When you are using a power bank if there's energy loss. Through the transfer of energy to your phone. So with a a larger and a better quality wire, that means more more power goes into the phone and less is lost. And we paid more for that. And I there isn't a brand in this country, because I have every one of their power banks sitting at my house. there isn't a brand in this country that has done the same. They they aren't meeting those the the quality standards that we're meeting. They just don't want to do it. and they're also got the slowest ten watt batteries. Like you could buy a eight thousand twenty two point five watt battery. Now you could do nearly the exam s exact same thing as us, but you're not gonna have our software and you're not gonna have our little hidden let's say Easter eggs in them as they say, or a little add-ons that we have that make dock hive doc hive. I can guarantee you you you get one built, ours will definitely be faster, more effective, easier to use because what we've integrated into it. And also the o because I come from being an ex guard. We've only the the only integrated anti theft system in the country. Does not exist anywhere else. Yeah, only integrated anti theft system in the country where if someone rips that out, it it won't work. So there's no reason to commit theft, I suppose, when it comes to the banks. So y this has this has been around, not your business, but previous other other bids business has been around for years. Correct. that that's actually a major one too. So I didn't know this, but I only found out recently, like In certain Asian countries in Japan and China, these have been around since I think it's two thousand sixteen. So this is why the technology in the in Europe is extremely slow compared to what we actually have compared to those countries. So a lot of my research would be over in let's say Japan, China, yeah, some sometimes in Thailand, it all depends on the place. Just to look for new products for innovation to bring over here. We have a couple of other that won I won't bring up today, but if we ever do a podcast again We'll d I'll do a big reveal where the I'll actually do it on your podcast if that's all right. We'll do we're bringing a new tech into the country and it is new tech. It's not in Ireland, it's not in Europe. But it at the moment there's a huge logistics problem which is are they how are they EU certified? Are we going to be the first person to EU certify them all? All the documentation that comes in. When you're bringing something into the EU, you have to go through all these standards and all these loopholes are not loopholes, sorry, all these whatever guidelines. in order to get it in. So the first one bringing in in is the first one, but they pay a heavy price to get it all into that standard. For someone like me, I have an abrease. All I all I care about is which charge my phone, but for the normal draw soap, listeners and watching this list. So what's the difference? I know you mentioned it in the Yeah, so the differen the difference is the charging capacity and speed. So you've got a twenty two point five watt charge and it's an eight thousand milliamp battery, you're try talking a full charge within the hour it's on zero. and you're talking two into two and a half charges on two phones on one rental and that could be over two hours depending on how how you're charging the phones. they're just better, they're lighter, they're more po compact, they've got more technology in it. As I said, the integrated chip system and an antif system. So you can literally go to any other power bank and drop it off. Yes, you can do it with other power bank machines, but with ours it's lighter, more compact and as I said, most people are buying them. So premium product at a a a very good a very good rental price and a very good purchase price also. If you went to buy one of these in the shop, you're talking twenty eight, thirty euro for a lower end ten watt charge. And we actually talked about a few minutes ago about the picture beforehand. If the cheap version is easy, we can go into any I won't say a shop any cheap shop and buy one for five or six. Exactly. Well, do you know what you could you you'll get the I anyone that's listening check always take a pi picture of the back of the back of the back of the power bank. They're ten watts. ninety percent of the the ten watts, you might get an eighteen point five watts sorry, an eighteen watts. You might even get one that says twenty two point five watts and I can guarantee you for a fact that I will give you my chart power bank and I'll put it beside the one that says twenty two point five watts. It's a sale thing. They're not. They're they're just not like either No it's good. we definitely will like try it out. but where are you going? We talked about what what you're planning next. Gimme, roll out two years. Where do you see it? here we go. Well, we've over a hundred machines coming within the next two four months. we have major, major partnerships coming. Major. Some of the biggest in the country. Genuinely. These are these are probably going to be record breaking as in when it comes to my page because we have a a partnership with the largest Venom machine company in Ireland, which is Venom Machine dot IE. I was only on the phone with him last night, actually. Omar, wonderful man, by the way. we also have a major deal with the Mazzonis franchise. So we're testing machines in Mazzonis. Again, really established like these two men are extremely established. Ral Aurelio Mazzoni has he's the an Italian businessman that has 40 Mazzoni franchises around Ireland. Forty. The other the the Omar that owns venomachine.e, he's nine hundred machines. Like these are men that obviously have seen Duckhive and love the standard of DuckDive, and that's why we're all networking together. So in two years' time with the partners and the the people that we have coming up, I see DocKive probably at up to between two hundred and five hundred locations, becoming a really strong recognized brand, if not a fully recognized brand. And just the company being successful and me being in a very different part of life in the sense of as a business owner and as a managing director, whether we have staff or not, we probably will, that'd be fantastic. Definitely, definitely, definitely a a very successful business and also innovating with power banks on sale in a couple of shops that have got on to us big retailers by the way. and yeah, just doing really, really well. That's that's the aim of the game. Do I see any failures? No. Do I see bumps in the road? Absolutely, it was fine. I have a Jeep, so I'll just come up over Yeah, we were talking about the the a lot of hospitals and bars happen now as well. Yeah, hospitals, Tullamore and Mullingarian A yes. Can they buy them single? Where do we buy them single? They can't no no. So at the moment you can't buy them. You have to rent them and keep them. it's actually technically a a a F charge. you get charged thirty euro for the power bank. It was initially twenty four. We put it down to eighteen and then people are just buying them. We th it's it's not sustainable as a rental business if we're letting people buy them all the time. it's just not like we couldn't keep them in like the we're ordering them constantly, putting them out and their people are buying them. We're not we're not it's not a money grab situation. We don't want people buying them, we want them available for people to rent. That's just that simple. Hundred percent, that's what it is. Now you can buy them if you want. at the moment it's fifteen euro deposit and fifteen euro failure to return charge on it. So it's thirty euro every altogether. It was twenty four people who were buying them. We've got actually got three purchases last night when you know about the one value. so people definitely do want to be buying them. But yeah, so thirty euro to buy them, they're worth every penny. You as I said, give your honest thoughts and review, give your positive and negative. There's no point saying they're great if you don't like them or if there's an issue with them. If you're doing a podcast with someone else or myself, a review but yeah. So two years doing very well, everything Hopefully. I can guarantee it it'll be at my podcast here. How many things do you have to charge? Well you can see a lot of stuff here, a lot of stuff plugged in. Congratulations, you've got now got two. Two. Thanks very much, thanks. No bother. no but we'll we'll advertise it. We'll we'll keep it going. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. And I appreciate the support and I'll do the same for you. I'm I'm delighted to be here. I'll be sharing this all over my page. but I am delighted and by the way the setup I just want to say that holy god the setup extremely professional. I I've never I've been to a lot of interviews and stuff, you need them in the studios. But like the quality road the the mics and stuff very, very very very high value stuff, my God. And a bit like numerous talk to say you're a bit O C D Yeah, no, I see it. Yeah, but I love this. It's such high quality, it's fantastic. And that's why your business is gonna do very well. Because one that you're trying you're you're getting involved with people and businesses. And a a major thing that even just for my advice or or even my advice to you when it comes to networking getting out there. Every single person is a contact. A lot of people are too worried about they go, I don't want to use them. I don't want to ask about But just stop. There is no businessman out there that isn't going to use you or me to get where they want to go in a nice way. People can be beneficial to people. So you could say, Well, I want to do this to get a few more views. I want to be here because I know it's good for you. I know it's good for me to get out there. And it's very good. It's about networking, getting to know people. This thing of I don't want to do this, get away. Th but most people wouldn't have done business with us if we if we were living like that. So this whole setup getting connected, being together is absolutely fantastic. And you know what? That's absolutely crazy because well, when I first started this, you can see I failed a small bit of audio my o everything was happening the wrongly at the start. Yeah. But a fella in FOM very successful YouTuber, podcaster, all that stuff, he said to me, he says, Don't be afraid to ask. Yeah, a hundred percent. They do, they do, absolutely. This fellow's over a hundred followers, thousand followers on YouTube. He said, I'll share, I'll go on your page. we've we've lined him up for a few and a few months. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And he's a he's a big one because if you can get him to share also and some people go, you can't ask him. Abs you should. The whole point how do you think he got a hundred thousand? It wasn't from sitting down doing it all himself. There's not a hope. But the same with my business. I've done a lot of this by myself, but I have made a lot of friends by the way. For example, Vendemachine dot E, Mazzoni's, the other two venues, sorry, the other two, massive things that we and I mean they're huge that are coming up are all through networking, talking, asking for favours. What can I do for you that you can do for me? Blah blah blah. How can we help each other? That's how you do it. I know someone that was in Galway, Merlin Hospital in Galway yesterday. Mm. They drove down and they they're only meant to go for a p a fight quick and white and they were there all day. Yeah. Sorry? Okay. Three percent text me back text me. I don't text me back, only three percent left in the battery. Yeah. Yeah, didn't hear them heard from all day. That's ideal. That's the place that should be Merlin Hospital. Merlin Hospital, just as you went to Galway. On the left hand side, isn't it? It's just as you went on yeah, it's just on the way into Rang Rembour. Is that a private one? No. yeah. That is like there's a an outpatient's unit daily I have. yeah, I know I know where they are, yeah. They need to hit that up. I will be ringing them when I leave here. And again, that's that's from an experience of someone just there yesterday. And I know someone was in Banner's Law Hospital two weeks ago and the A and E they went down seven o'clock. Seven o'clock in the evening went down. They were still there at seven o'clock the next morning. What? They were still there late at seven the next morning. but anyway. Yeah, yeah. but Gary, we're gonna leave it there, okay, 'cause we've talked about a small bit and this is just our first time we're talking. We're gonna come again. a hundred percent. I'll be back. You bring me back anytime you want. You're gonna arrive you're gonna arrive in a suit now and tie outside. Do you know why? Do you know why actually? Funny enough, I didn't arrive today. Normally I'd be well dressed because I knew this is on video and I was talking. But I decided I was saying to myself, right, I had to get all my stuff. We're actually renovating the house and the washing machine is off, right? And the dryer's off. But we went over across town to get all the stuff done and all all the clothes done, whatever. But we didn't want to put in the the shirts and the the Iba Tommy Hilford beautiful. And I didn't want to put it in because I was worried that it would damage it or whatever. So I had literally the bare minimum. And then I I finished the radio with that and then I put on two tops and as you can probably see I've gained a bit of weight. And they didn't fit me. I was like, grand, I have to grab and go. But isn't that just like I my five, read people, read stories. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well that's it. Do you know what? Like I it here. I could wear a suit all day and be a bloody con man, or I can just wear a shirt and you get what it you get what you get. That's it. It's that simple, you know. I'm gonna finish off a few final questions. Yeah, let's go. Let's go. Fire questions. I'm ready. First one, it's ready. So I'm ready. Where did the idea come from? Yeah, so the idea came from an experience when I was out on duty dealing with a young girl that did had her phone di dead and we couldn't resolve the problem and then it got my brain going, boom, think, right, let's let's do a bit of digging into it and it built into something that it is today, which is obviously doing very well. So that's where the idea dealing with someone that was a real situation during my time as a guard. If you're old if an old guardic colleague had to describe it in three words, what would they say? very chatty, very energetic, and a little bit annoying. That's in the seven o'clock in the morning. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. What's the most ridiculous business idea you've ever had? 'Cause I know you've probably had more ideas. the most ridiculous. The most ridiculous. god, that is a very good one. what was it? come back to that one. I'll have to remember it. Yeah, come back to that one 'cause I d I do remember I can't remember what it was, but something absolutely I I don't know why I went down that rabbit hole banana. If you could if you could be invisible for twenty four hours, what was two weeks. If I could be invisible? that's amazing. if I could be keep a P G note. Nope. I have a beautiful woman at home. It's the only room I'd be in. let me think. If I could be invisible I drive round in my car to be honest. I actually I would drive round in my p car and let everyone think it was a self driving car. Yeah, well I was driving through the third. Yeah, yeah, that's why you would that'd be mad. See this car driving by and I text everyone to say, Look at my car, it's self driving If you were arrested tomorrow, what would what would your majesty be? If I was arrested. If you were arrested tomorrow, what would your majesty be arrested for? speeding. No, I don't know no, it's probably driving too slow. One of my colleagues gave out to me last time because when I was driving down with the my Yaris, I was there was Christmas, I'll never forget this story. It was Christmas and I was driving home real slow, about eighty, ninety kilometres down the motorway. And they were like, Beaver, get out of the fucking way, will ya? so it definitely either driving too fast or too slow. A hundred percent. If I had to ring your best mate, what would what would the most comparison story have be? The most embarrassing story, the most comparison story, God, I'd say being bananas and I don't know, falling around the place in the middle of Atlone somewhere. No, no, I actually wasn't, no. But no, you know yourself your bananas, you're having your crack, you're wired, like I was wired. I dan I I dance in the middle of the road like dear side, I party off. I I I had have a great time. yeah I tell you I'm brilliant. Okay, so the real stuff here. So what advice would you give someone Yeah, well Yeah, that's a big one. So what I would do is I would definitely get yourself prepared and I wouldn't go out blind. you don't have to have a direction but you have to have a support blanket and you have to you have to. You have to have cash in the bank. Like I left my job and I didn't pay my self since I left nearly three or four months. I used n ninety percent of my savings spending on the business and I spent more money than I thought I would, but I also had the support and the the the family notified that what I was doing. So there was definitely support there. Do not go out blind. Take risks while you're in current employment. and if you do decide to take the leap of faith, make sure that the marker research matches what your idea and your thoughts are because you're gonna leave that job and you're gonna just be you could always go back, but you're gonna leave fail and then that's gonna really knock you down. And the failing failure is all right. I don't mind failing. But Yeah, just definitely go out with a plan. No cow going, right, I'm gonna do this. Don't know how I'm gonna do it, but I'm gonna do it. You don't have to have a an exact direction, but just some, you know. And like for anybody would like would you touch base with someone? Say like Absolutely, contact me. Seriously. Anybody wants to contact me, I'm the most beneficial person at the moment to contact 'cause I can guarantee you I will get you either I will help you with grants. Most of most of my most of my friends or business partners don't know about any of the grants. Do you know about the grants? Yeah, the C U IPO grants, there's feasibility studies grant, there's a grant priming grant, there's a salary grant, like I know them all. Do you know what I mean? So th that's where I become beneficial because you can contact me and go, Hey Garth, I'm setting up this business, this is what I want to do. what are the grants that you know that are available? And I can put you in the right direction. You might not get them, but I can put you in that direction or you can look up the the Leo Ireland. And if you're ever looking for an investor and I like the idea, I'll definitely jump on another another bandwagon too if it's if it's feasible and it aligns with what we're doing. Do you know what I mean? Of course. what so this is the big one I always finish the podcast on and it's the name of the podcast. So what does on your own time mean to you? What's it on your own time? I suppose on your own time I'm probably gonna say this in a weird way, but on your own time is like it it's so funny and I think of you. It's gonna you're gonna think I'm mad. But like the podcast. Yeah, Garrett look, remember we were meant to have this podcast already and then we didn't. And yeah, come down on your own time. Come down on on your own time. and I I suppose it's whenever you're available, whenever you're kind of just around and use that time wisely. Like today was massively beneficial to me because I knew that obviously I had the other the other pog the other radio thing and then I could do this and I could put it all together. So I suppose trying to trying to get yourself Trying to get yourself organized and out there and do things but also being consistent with what you're doing is what I kinda take from that. yeah, but I go though. How do people find you? doc I've yeah, everyone listen to this now. This is big one. dockive dot iE on Instagram. So doc Ive dot IE because it's another brand I've just seen that they've taken our name DocKive, but now it's completely different. So we are the blue and green logo and yet follow DockHive get on the Instagram. Get on the TikTok, get on the LinkedIn, get on the what else do I have? Facebook. I'll soon have a YouTube and we're also doing actually podcasts soon enough too with another guy, Venom Machine dot E. So yeah. DockHive dot E and actually just for you. If someone follows me on my Instagram and mentions that they have listened to this podcast, I will send them a free power bank. One, two, maybe three people. But they must follow me and you. And they obviously must say that they've heard me heard us on this. So that means that they've listened to the end. That's amazing. Brilliant. I appreciate that. we'll come back in a few weeks' time if we'll have a Absolutely, you time and place you let me know. you don't even have to wish you 'cause I know you're very successful. Well same for you, this is brilliant. Seriously, I love this setup. I actually I've I've really enjoyed it. It's very you're a very easy to talk to. You're natural by the way. Seriously, I I've had some chats with some people where I'm kinda like, god, we drag it out, but no, you're very good, you're brilliant. We're touching on the hour here and if you thoughtful, we offer three. give me twelve more, I'm ready to go. No, but I really I really do, okay. I do appreciate you coming on and like for me, you're one of the biggest tests we had on because successfully are and you're dry and you really are the ideal person I want on the podcast. So I really do wish you the best luck and go forward. I'll tag everything on my page. You're a gent, yeah. Go for it. Thank you so much. Get on board. Yeah. Follow Doc Ive.
