- 0:03Speaker 1: us to go to God in prayer, and as always,
- 0:06Speaker 1: I invite you to join along with me in Prayering
- 0:10Speaker 1: on my heart today is a single parent and that's
- 0:12Speaker 1: what I want to pray for. Heavenly Father, in the
- 0:15Speaker 1: name of Jesus, Today we lift up every single parent
- 0:19Speaker 1: who is carrying the weight of raising children alone. You
- 0:23Speaker 1: see the early mornings, you see the late nights. You
- 0:26Speaker 1: see the juggling of responsibilities, the stretching of finances, the
- 0:31Speaker 1: emotional exhaustion that sometimes no one else notices. So Lord,
- 0:36Speaker 1: we're asking you to be their strength when they feel
- 0:40Speaker 1: overwhelmed by decisions. Be their wisdom when they feel outnumbered. God,
- 0:45Speaker 1: You be their reinforcement when they feel tired. Beyond words, God,
- 0:50Speaker 1: be the wind beneath them. Father, you know the quiet
- 0:54Speaker 1: tears that fall after the children fall asleep. You know
- 0:57Speaker 1: the silent prayers whispered in kitchens and cars and bedrooms.
- 1:02Speaker 1: You know the questions that echo in their hearts. Am
- 1:05Speaker 1: I doing enough? Am I enough? Remind them today, God
- 1:11Speaker 1: that they are enough, because You are with them. They
- 1:15Speaker 1: are not alone. Step God into the spaces where another
- 1:19Speaker 1: parent is absent. Be the covering. God, be the protection,
- 1:24Speaker 1: be the example. Fill every gap with your presence where
- 1:27Speaker 1: there is lack, Provide where there is strained, sustain where
- 1:32Speaker 1: there is loneliness. You bring comfort. God like only you can. Lord,
- 1:36Speaker 1: Strengthen their hands to discipline with love and not frustration.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Give them patience when emotions run high. Give them deserveed
- 1:44Speaker 1: to know when to speak and when to simply listen.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Help them not to parent from guilt or fear, but
- 1:53Speaker 1: to God, parent from confidence and grace. Provide for their needs.
- 1:59Speaker 1: God like only you can, open doors of opportunity. Send
- 2:02Speaker 1: divine help, Send friends, Send mentors, Send teachers and family
- 2:07Speaker 1: members who will speak life into their children and encouragement
- 2:10Speaker 1: into their hearts. Surround them God with community so they
- 2:14Speaker 1: don't feel isolated. And God for the children being raised
- 2:19Speaker 1: in single parents' homes, guard their hearts. Let them feel secure,
- 2:25Speaker 1: Let them feel deeply loved. Let them feel covered. Protect
- 2:28Speaker 1: them from the resentment or even confusion. Let them see
- 2:32Speaker 1: resilience modeled in front of them. Let them witness faith
- 2:37Speaker 1: in action. Father, restore joy to the single parents. Let
- 2:41Speaker 1: laughter return to their homes. Let peace rest in their rooms.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Remind them that Their sacrifices are not unseen God. Every
- 2:50Speaker 1: meal prepared, every ride given, every homework assignment checked in,
- 2:55Speaker 1: every hug. You see it all. God. When they feel inadequate,
- 3:00Speaker 1: whisper affirmation. Would they feel forgotten, Remind them that they
- 3:04Speaker 1: are chosen. When they feel weary, renew their strength like
- 3:07Speaker 1: the eagles. Lord, bless their households. Let stability rise where
- 3:12Speaker 1: there has been instability. Let favor rest on their work.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Let grace cover their mistakes, and let hope akle their future.
- 3:21Speaker 1: They are not doing this alone. God, You are their partner.
- 3:24Speaker 1: You're their provider, You're their defender. You are their peace.
- 3:28Speaker 1: So wrap them in your love today. God, strengthen them
- 3:31Speaker 1: for tomorrow, and let their story be one of endurance, faith,
- 3:35Speaker 1: and victory. In Jesus's name. Amen, Amen,
