- 0:37Speaker 2: that how you guys pronounce it? Here? Is wrestling? Depends?
- 0:42Speaker 2: Our buddy Doug Durton does a thing called farm wrestling.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Do you guys know what that is? I think it
- 0:48Speaker 2: used to be called, uh like leg wrestling. We got.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Do you guys do that Indian leg wrestling? Yeah? I
- 0:56Speaker 2: probably don't use the term Indian anymore for Indian wrestling.
- 1:00Speaker 2: But is that a thing that you guys practice for
- 1:02Speaker 2: your matches? I have not? No? Yeah, all right, all right,
- 1:06Speaker 2: I'll tell Doug that he was just wondering. All right. Today,
- 1:10Speaker 2: we're coming to you live from the tailgate of the

- 1:16Speaker 2: in State College, PA. We're here on the last stop
- 1:19Speaker 2: of the Meat Eater Tailgate Tour, which traveled across the
- 1:22Speaker 2: country this fall to some of the biggest college football
- 1:25Speaker 2: games of the season. Levi Tyler, Sewn Allen, Welcome to
- 1:29Speaker 2: the show, Fellas from the Treehouse Flat Frat. Give me
- 1:33Speaker 2: a quick rundown of the Treehouse Frat and sell me
- 1:37Speaker 2: on it, like if I was an incoming student pledge. Okay,
- 1:43Speaker 2: if I was, well, but that's only if you want
- 1:45Speaker 2: to be a potential new member. You did. No, I'm
- 1:50Speaker 2: asking them to pitch me. I appreciate the banter bro
- 1:53Speaker 2: to keep it coming. Yeah.
- 1:55Speaker 3: So we're the only outdoor oriented fraternity in the nation
- 1:58Speaker 3: that we know of. All we do really is hunt
- 2:01Speaker 3: fish and have fires in the backyard. We have a
- 2:04Speaker 3: skinning shed, a woodshed with trees we just cut down
- 2:07Speaker 3: so it's completely filled up. Whole basement's filled with elk mounts,
- 2:11Speaker 3: moose mounts, goat mounts, bear muskie, and quite a few
- 2:15Speaker 3: other deer and mule deer. We have house bear drives,
- 2:19Speaker 3: house deer drives, house pheasant hunts, house dove hunts, house
- 2:22Speaker 3: duck hunts, really anything that you could really hunt or catch.
- 2:26Speaker 3: We're all out there together doing are you guys open
- 2:28Speaker 3: to bringing in like non hunters or non anglers, help
- 2:32Speaker 3: them become outdoors folks. Yeah, I don't think clap hunted
- 2:34Speaker 3: at all before you join. I don't even know if
- 2:37Speaker 3: you ever caught a fish until last year.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Maybe yeah, you're right.
- 2:41Speaker 2: But no.
- 2:41Speaker 3: Yeah, we have a lot of guys that just joined
- 2:43Speaker 3: because they're really interested and want to get more into it,
- 2:45Speaker 3: and we accept everyone with open arms as long as
- 2:48Speaker 3: you want to be a part of it and enjoy
- 2:50Speaker 3: the outdoors.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Nice. Nice, I love it all right under wrestling fellas,
- 2:55Speaker 2: You guys have a heck of a tradition going on here,
- 2:58Speaker 2: don't you. Oh yeah, with Penn State Wrestling one of them.
- 3:01Speaker 2: What's the most famous wrestler to ever come out of
- 3:04Speaker 2: this place? I would guess because I think I met
- 3:06Speaker 2: him like a couple of months ago. I don't know.
- 3:08Speaker 2: It's hard. There's a lot of them.
- 3:10Speaker 1: The most famos will probably be be if I had
- 3:12Speaker 1: to guess, because he got the UFC publicity, I think, now, yeah,
- 3:16Speaker 1: he's a hot shot.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Now he's got a he's got a about coming up
- 3:20Speaker 2: here this month. I believe, right, you guys, you guys
- 3:23Speaker 2: gonna have a big watch party, whole team. Nice. Nice,
- 3:26Speaker 2: I like it. I like it all right for everybody here,
- 3:30Speaker 2: what's the what's your just favorite part about like being
- 3:33Speaker 2: in Penn State? And then let me know if did
- 3:36Speaker 2: the location for hunting and fishing, because I know everybody
- 3:39Speaker 2: here is an outdoors person. Did the location play into
- 3:43Speaker 2: your choice to come here at all? Yeah, without a doubt.
- 3:46Speaker 2: I mean this is the best fly fishing h east
- 3:49Speaker 2: of the Mississippi. So I could drive six minutes and
- 3:52Speaker 2: be at Spring Creek, which is the most fish per
- 3:55Speaker 2: square foot in the state. He's spot burning, man, I
- 4:00Speaker 2: mean you could go. You might not catch anything, though, Brody,
- 4:03Speaker 2: I've seen, dude.
- 4:03Speaker 4: I was fishing that thing when you were like ten
- 4:06Speaker 4: years before you were born.
- 4:07Speaker 3: But yeah, great, probably but but yeah, and then Penn
- 4:12Speaker 3: State has a lot of public land that Penn State owns,
- 4:14Speaker 3: and you're a lot of hunts so I've been able
- 4:16Speaker 3: to turkey hunt, deer hunt those locations and there they.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Did it play in your decision to come here? Oh,
- 4:21Speaker 2: without a doubt? Really alan about you.
- 4:23Speaker 5: Honestly, I came here to drink beer and tailgate. But
- 4:29Speaker 5: but I will say it does play a big role
- 4:32Speaker 5: in why I did choose to come here. There's all
- 4:35Speaker 5: the public land that we go to is like five
- 4:36Speaker 5: minutes outside of the campus and we always go and
- 4:39Speaker 5: have fun.
- 4:40Speaker 2: So nice, Levi Tyler.
- 4:42Speaker 6: Yeah, I definitely played a role in my decision to
- 4:46Speaker 6: come here. Obviously, Like these guys are saying, there's a
- 4:48Speaker 6: lot of resources in the area that you can at
- 4:52Speaker 6: your disposal. So fishing hunting is unbelievable in the area.
- 4:56Speaker 6: And I grew up in Pennsylvania, so kind already knew
- 5:00Speaker 6: do it a little bit. So yeah, it's a pretty
- 5:01Speaker 6: easy decision.
- 5:03Speaker 1: It had no factor for me, to be honest, I
- 5:05Speaker 1: wanted I just came here to wrestle, really and then
- 5:08Speaker 1: but I will I won't lie. As soon as I
- 5:10Speaker 1: committed here, I was finding spots are turkey hunting and
- 5:13Speaker 1: deer hunting as fast as possible. So once I was here,
- 5:16Speaker 1: I was locking down spots. But it wasn't wasn't the
- 5:18Speaker 1: main reason I.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Came right right, right right. I appreciate your honesty, all right,
- 5:23Speaker 2: real quick, I know everybody's been in the woods lately,
- 5:25Speaker 2: So on a scale of zero to ten, we're gonna
- 5:27Speaker 2: do a rut report. Ten being it's on fire right now.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Probably like a three, four, three or four.
- 5:35Speaker 2: That's it.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Well, this past I'm getting pretty rough.
- 5:37Speaker 6: Let's say I'm thinking five or six. I've seen some
- 5:39Speaker 6: pretty good road actions starting. They're not definitely not full swing,
- 5:42Speaker 6: but they're getting there.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Actually, I could I take that back because last night
- 5:45Speaker 1: I was driving home and I seen the buck getting
- 5:48Speaker 1: it on with a dough right in my front yard.
- 5:50Speaker 1: So maybe maybe it might go up a little couple points.
- 5:53Speaker 3: I forget that rout report zero DA, probably like a
- 5:56Speaker 3: six or seven. You could just always tell when the
- 5:58Speaker 3: roads start to be covered in, And I just drove
- 6:02Speaker 3: back from Virginia and it was just plastered with deer
- 6:04Speaker 3: all over ninety nine, So I'd say six or seven.
- 6:07Speaker 5: I'd also give it a six or seven. I think
- 6:09Speaker 5: a lot of a lot of the guys in the
- 6:10Speaker 5: house have been seeing a lot of action on their
- 6:12Speaker 5: trail cameras and stuff, so I think it's pretty good
- 6:15Speaker 5: right now.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Yeah, my trail camers aren't quite blowing up, but they're
- 6:18Speaker 2: like one step removed from blowing up right now for sure.
- 6:21Speaker 2: All Right, So today, the way we're gonna play is
- 6:25Speaker 2: Treehouse is a team, and you guys can do combined answers,
- 6:29Speaker 2: So come up with My advice would be to come
- 6:31Speaker 2: up with different answers, because if one of you gets
- 6:34Speaker 2: it right, you get a uh you get you get
- 6:37Speaker 2: a point. Same thing here for the wrestling team, and
- 6:39Speaker 2: you guys are all playing against Brody. Let's go all right, ready, yeah,
- 6:44Speaker 2: question one, it's fishing. Which of these Pennsylvania state record
- 6:51Speaker 2: fish is smallest? Is it bullhead, blue gill, crappy as
- 6:59Speaker 2: Brody says, or American shad? So again I'll repeat the question,
- 7:04Speaker 2: which of these Pennsylvania state record fish is the smallest? Bullhead, bluegill,
- 7:12Speaker 2: crappie or American shad? Remember, Felas, you can't whisper when
- 7:24Speaker 2: you got a mic on. Everybody else is going to.
- 7:27Speaker 5: I was thinking about it.
- 7:28Speaker 2: I was about to whisper something. What do you got
- 7:30Speaker 2: an answer?
- 7:32Speaker 4: I'm thinking, now, how's this working? They each get to
- 7:36Speaker 4: supply an answer and then yeah.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Yeah, if one of them gets it right, they get
- 7:40Speaker 2: a point. You got that matting awful?
- 7:45Speaker 4: Yeah see, I'm already kind of preparing to argue.
- 7:51Speaker 2: All right, well, these are Spencer's questions I can't argue with.
- 7:54Speaker 2: All right, reveal your answers, all right, Sean is saying Shad,
- 8:01Speaker 2: and Alan saying crappy. Bro He's saying bullhead. Levi's saying crappy.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Tyler says sunfish. Hold on, that wasn't a possible answer.
- 8:13Speaker 2: All right, it is Bluegill. We're gonna give it to
- 8:19Speaker 2: the state record American Shad is nine pounds, the state
- 8:22Speaker 2: record bullhead is five pounds, the state record Crappie is
- 8:26Speaker 2: four pounds, and the state record Bluegill is two point
- 8:30Speaker 2: five pounds. All right, we're on number two gear. This
- 8:36Speaker 2: Pennsylvania Brand is the creator of the original wool buffalo
- 8:42Speaker 2: check shirt. This Pennsylvania Brand is the creator of the
- 8:49Speaker 2: original wool buffalo check shirt.
- 8:54Speaker 6: If I get looked, if I could tell the location,
- 8:57Speaker 6: do I get an extra point? No?
- 9:01Speaker 2: But I'll let you do the uh you can do
- 9:03Speaker 2: the flavor text at the end of it is this
- 9:06Speaker 2: multiple choice or no, I'm not multiple choice? And the
- 9:11Speaker 2: rest of the team got this one man? Yeah, all right,
- 9:14Speaker 2: one more time. Pennsylvania Brand is the creator of the
- 9:17Speaker 2: original wool buffalo check shirt. Brody, you got an answer?
- 9:23Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I can come up with you used to
- 9:26Speaker 4: see a lot of these in deer camp back in
- 9:28Speaker 4: the day.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Yeah, he's giving you boys hints. I think my old
- 9:31Speaker 2: man still has Yeah, yeah, they last forever. Yeah, I
- 9:40Speaker 2: got yngling. Treehouse says yngling and na correct. Brody wool Rich, Levi, Woolrich, Tyler, Woolrich,

- 9:53Speaker 2: The first very first red and black checkered shirt was
- 9:56Speaker 2: introduced in eighteen fifty. They mark did their flannels as
- 10:01Speaker 2: being soft, sup supple, yet tough as iron. All right.
- 10:06Speaker 2: On the question three, which is cooking in the cooking category,
- 10:11Speaker 2: what kind of fish is traditionally served in a Philadelphia
- 10:18Speaker 2: sushi roll? I should know this again. Question three is
- 10:25Speaker 2: in the cooking category, what kind of fish is traditionally
- 10:28Speaker 2: served in a Philly roll? Can we get a hen
- 10:33Speaker 2: if it's fresh water? Saltwater? Brody says no.
- 10:38Speaker 4: But but I will give you a hint about sushi.
- 10:41Speaker 4: You're not eating too much fresh water fish when you're
- 10:43Speaker 4: eating sushi.
- 10:45Speaker 2: There you go. I gave you a hint. What a
- 10:52Speaker 2: kind soole? Everybody have an answer, all right, Treehouse, what
- 10:58Speaker 2: you guys got about the genre flounder? Alan salmon? Brody salmon, Levi, Samon,
- 11:05Speaker 2: Tyler Tuona smart fellas going with two different answers there,
- 11:08Speaker 2: The correct answer is salmon nice. Philadelphia role is often
- 11:13Speaker 2: made with smoked salmon, cream, cheese, and cucumber. Is created
- 11:17Speaker 2: during a Philadelphia culinary competition in the nineteen eighties. You
- 11:22Speaker 2: guys big sushi eaters. No, no, we crushed sushi out. Yeah.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Is there a good sushi joint.
- 11:32Speaker 6: In this Townshi's right downtown?
- 11:34Speaker 2: All right, we go, Brody, let's go there for dinner. Yeah,
- 11:37Speaker 2: all right. Question number four hunting, Which neighboring state of
- 11:43Speaker 2: Pennsylvania has the highest deer population? Which neighboring state of
- 11:52Speaker 2: Pennsylvania has the highest deer population? Brod, he's thinking, no, No,
- 12:02Speaker 2: you got an answer already. I got my answer, man, Damn,
- 12:05Speaker 2: he doesn't know. He thinks he knows. I think I know.
- 12:10Speaker 1: I was gonna say that.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I think I know. I got two guesses.
- 12:15Speaker 6: I don't know which.
- 12:17Speaker 2: It's probably Delaware. You can't have both of them written down, definitely, No,
- 12:22Speaker 2: you got your chills. One.
- 12:24Speaker 6: It's probably Kansas, probably.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:27Speaker 2: I don't think that counts as a neighboring state. They
- 12:31Speaker 2: do have a lot of deer though. All right, you
- 12:32Speaker 2: guys ready reveal your answers Ohio, West Virginia, Ohio, Ohio,
- 12:38Speaker 2: New Jersey zero correct. The correct answer is New York. Dude. Wow. Interesting.

- 12:53Speaker 2: in Maryland, five hundred and fifty thousand in West Virginia,
- 12:59Speaker 2: seven or twenty five thousand in Ohio, and one point
- 13:02Speaker 2: two million in the state of New York. Interesting. All right,
- 13:07Speaker 2: still level playing field, all right? Question five, guess that
- 13:11Speaker 2: still in hunting? Which of these birds do Pennsylvania hunters
- 13:16Speaker 2: harvest the least of?
- 13:19Speaker 6: This is?
- 13:19Speaker 2: Multiple choice? Pheasants, turkeys, doves, Canada geese. Again, Question five,
- 13:28Speaker 2: multiple choice, Which of these birds do Pennsylvania hunters harvest
- 13:32Speaker 2: the least of pheasants, turkeys, doves, Canada geese. Yeah, that's
- 13:42Speaker 2: probably a good backup. I love it. These fellows are
- 13:45Speaker 2: taking this game seriously, all right, Matt. After they reveal
- 13:50Speaker 2: their answers here, we're gonna give a scoreboard update. You
- 13:53Speaker 2: need to help me out with that. Oh, this is
- 13:57Speaker 2: a tough one, man. I don't think it is. No,
- 14:00Speaker 2: I would get it right if I was playing well.
- 14:03Speaker 2: That's bold. Since you're well, I can't believe New York
- 14:08Speaker 2: has more dear than Ohio. All right, I'm gonna repeat
- 14:10Speaker 2: the question. Which of these birds do Pennsylvania hunters harvest
- 14:15Speaker 2: the least of pheasants, turkeys, doves, Canada, geese? Yeah, no,
- 14:23Speaker 2: one doesn't, right, all right, reveal your answers turkey, geese.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Brody says turkeys, Levi, turkey and geese. For Tyler, the
- 14:38Speaker 2: correct answer is turkey. Good job, everybody. It's estimated that
- 14:43Speaker 2: Pennsylvaniania hunters kill about one hundred thousand geese, doves, and
- 14:47Speaker 2: pheasants each year and only twenty eight thousand turkeys each year.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Just still a fair amount of turkey. Yeah, yeah, all right, Matt.
- 14:57Speaker 2: We need a scoreboard update. Well, Treehouse, you guys right
- 15:05Speaker 2: now are in third place with two correct answers, Brodie's
- 15:09Speaker 2: in the second place with three, and the wrestlers are
- 15:13Speaker 2: in number one spot with four correct answers. Anybody's game

- 15:30Speaker 2: is named after a Pennsylvania city, claims to have the
- 15:33Speaker 2: world's largest selection of archery equipment. Levi is already riding.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Can you read that again, I'll read it again. This company,
- 15:46Speaker 2: which is named after a Pennsylvania city, claims to have
- 15:50Speaker 2: the world's largest selection of archery equipment. Another one, dude
- 15:55Speaker 2: to play something else.
- 15:57Speaker 6: Yeah, that's right, it's not.
- 16:00Speaker 2: I thought this would be a little bit of a
- 16:01Speaker 2: gimme if I'm right. I want to see if you
- 16:04Speaker 2: say this city like a pencil.
- 16:06Speaker 6: He's got it, then he's got it.
- 16:09Speaker 2: I'm not gonna pronounce it right. Yeah, LEVI knows what
- 16:17Speaker 2: I'm talking about.
- 16:18Speaker 6: I know exactly what you're talking about.
- 16:22Speaker 2: You guys have an answer? Yeah, all right, Treehouse saying
- 16:26Speaker 2: Matthews and Hoyt. Rody says Lancaster, Lancaster, Lancaster, Lancaster. The
- 16:34Speaker 2: correct answer is Lancaster. They don't say it like that
- 16:38Speaker 2: on their commercials. Come on, well are they actual? Lancaster
- 16:43Speaker 2: Archery has been open for thirty eight years. They have
- 16:46Speaker 2: a ten thousand foot pro shop that's complete with archery ranges, showrooms,
- 16:50Speaker 2: and lots of taxidermy. Question seven hunting fence posts painted

- 17:24Speaker 2: include Arizona, Florida, Missouri, and North Carolina. Question eight fishing.
- 17:32Speaker 2: This one's a little bit tougher. This one I would
- 17:34Speaker 2: not get right. Since you guys are all from around here.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Let's see what you guys can do. What river is
- 17:39Speaker 2: formed by two smaller rivers in Pittsburgh? Oh? What river
- 17:47Speaker 2: is formed by two smaller rivers in Pittsburg. I don't
- 17:52Speaker 2: need to know those, the two small ones. I need
- 17:55Speaker 2: to know the one main river that's formed in Pittsburgh. Bro,
- 18:01Speaker 2: Do you got an answer?
- 18:02Speaker 1: Oh?
- 18:02Speaker 2: Yeah, Alan, How you feeling about this one?
- 18:07Speaker 5: I mean, he's from Pittsburgh, so I'm feeling Pretty's okay?
- 18:12Speaker 6: You can put it?
- 18:13Speaker 2: Okay, you guys need the question again? Are you good?
- 18:25Speaker 2: All right? Reveal your answers? Ohio, Ohio, Ohio, leave Allegheny, Susquehanna.
- 18:33Speaker 2: Correct answer. That was a big miss, boys? Was the
- 18:37Speaker 2: correct answer? Is the Ohio River, the Allegheny and the
- 18:41Speaker 2: mononga Hala rivers. I was thinking formed the Ohio River
- 18:45Speaker 2: at Point State Park in Pittsburgh. Early settlers considered the
- 18:49Speaker 2: Allegheny to be part of the Ohio. All right, Question nine?
- 18:54Speaker 2: Right the half point? No, but good job for knowing
- 18:59Speaker 2: that you would, Terry, all right? Hunting Question nine, Which
- 19:03Speaker 2: neighboring state of Pennsylvania has the highest population of black bears?
- 19:11Speaker 2: Should we make this one? Multiple choice? Brody? No, there's
- 19:14Speaker 2: only so many neighboring states? Which multiple choice? Which neighboring
- 19:19Speaker 2: state of Pennsylvania has the highest population of black bears? Mmm?
- 19:29Speaker 2: You feel confident? Mile or actual? Just total total population?
- 19:40Speaker 2: Everybody else has answer you never know. Come on, give
- 19:45Speaker 2: me a little time to think. Roll with it. No, don't,
- 19:50Speaker 2: don't change your answer and be confident. Probably not right,
- 19:56Speaker 2: though it's probably not right. I wait that one. What
- 20:02Speaker 2: if it is? There's no way? Oh, all right, reveal
- 20:09Speaker 2: your answer. I'm just sticking with my original, but I
- 20:15Speaker 2: think it's wrong. All right, Treehouse, you guys got New
- 20:20Speaker 2: York and Maryland. Brody, New Jersey, Levi, West Virginia, Tyler,
- 20:26Speaker 2: New Jersey. We do have one correct answer. It is
- 20:29Speaker 2: West Virginia. There are no bears in Delaware, seventy five
- 20:35Speaker 2: in Ohio, two thousand and Maryland, three thousand in New Jersey,
- 20:39Speaker 2: seven thousand in New York, and thirteen thousand in West Virginia.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Did you guys get it? Yeah, we got West Virginia
- 20:48Speaker 2: all right? Uh Matt, you ready for another scoreboard update? Yeah?
- 20:54Speaker 2: I got it. While we're waiting for that. For if
- 20:58Speaker 2: you're playing at home, quick recap question one answer was
- 21:02Speaker 2: Blue Gale. Two question was Woolrich three Salmon four New
- 21:10Speaker 2: York five Turkeys six, Lancaster Archery Supply seven, Purple eight,

- 21:26Speaker 2: is not looking good for you, third place with four,
- 21:30Speaker 2: Brody still in second with six, and the Penn State
- 21:34Speaker 2: wrestling team is sitting at pretty at seven with one
