Anna Scott, a member of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe, was found dead in her car’s trunk in February 2022 after being shot — now, her case is escalating as suspect Delshay Astor, 28, pleads not guilty to upgraded first-degree murder charges, with a federal trial set for September 29. Astor has a troubling criminal history, including weapons and robbery charges. Meanwhile, Joel Christy, also arrested, faces accessory and aiding charges and has pleaded not guilty while being released on his own recognizance.
