the Cleveland Guardians. Guardians, unbelievably, I think

they're 17 and two their last 19 games.

but we had another angle there of a favorite low total.

Total there was 7 1/2. So Cleveland continued to roll

in. Detroit, who's been struggling,

Like the obvious play from the public was take Cleveland

hot guardians and fade the ice cold Detroit Tigers, the betting

There was smart money going the other way with Detroit buying

Let's set the stage, provide some background talk, line

They just crushed the Saints 44 to 13 in week 3, easily covered

As soon as this line opened and we have seen nothing, and I mean

So we flip this game from Seattle getting 2 1/2 on the

road to now Seattle laying 1 1/2 on the road.

So plus 2 1/2 to -1 1/2. Why is that important?

We love seeing this. North Texas and college football

weekend is another dog to fave line move that I really like on

there really hasn't been any buyback on Arizona.

Like sometimes you'll see a dog to fave move where it flips to,

gets bought back down and maybe it gets back down to a pick em.

You really haven't seen that. It's pretty much stayed steady

-1 1/2 in favor of Seattle. So it tells me big money going

with Seattle now think of it this way too.

Odds makers, you know, historically would give three

points was pretty much death taxes and three points for home

field advantage. Since COVID, a lot of the

numbers say it's more like a two point, even 1 1/2 point.

There's very few teams that are still a three-point edge for

home field. But if you're laying 1 1/2 on

the road and it's around 2 points for home field, that

tells me that on a neutral site, Seattle, Arizona, the

international game, or it can't be a, you know, a Super Bowl

game because they're both from the NSC.

But if it was a neutral site game, Seattle would be like -3

1/2 if you're kind of just extrapolating the home field in

addition to the current number. Now, I've had a lot of people

popular play tonight? And I must admit, yes, I don't

love this. Again, not every game is

perfect, but I'll kind of build my case as to why I'm still

going Seattle. But you guys are right.

right now, the Seahawks are getting 75% of spread bets, 76%

of spread dollars. So yes, they are a popular play.

Yes, I do not want to be on the public side Seattle.

But that does also tell me it's a little bit pro and Joe.

So almost like last night with the Cleveland Guardians game

where pros move that number toward the Guardians and then

Joe's just said, hey, I'm I'm playing Cleveland, they're hot.

Similar sort of thing here where the public is going Seattle for

a variety of reasons. Arizona's got some injuries in

this game as well. And Seattle actually has a

pretty good injury report. They're getting Witherspoon and

I think there's a love couple defensive backs that are back

And Arizona just lost James Conner.

And also Seattle, you know, coming off a win where they

covered a huge a big number easily.

And even though Arizona covered, they lost.

So there's a public favoritism towards Seattle, but that

doesn't take away the fact that smart money also is on Seattle

flipping that dog to fave as well as low heavy bets in

dollars all in favor of the Seahawks.

So I agree, I wish Seattle was getting 25% of bets not 75.

But if we continue to build the case here to take Seattle,

here's another angle. Money lining short favorites.

They win by 1. So I am money lining the Seattle

important thing here. If you're worried about the

spread bet splits that are showing popular love for Seattle

from the public, look at these money line splits.

I think it's always important. Like to me, if the spread is

like 3 or more or seven or a higher number, the money line

splits don't really matter to me because it's coming from a lower

group of bets. But when it's a very short

spread, I think you should always look at the money line

splits. So for example, if you look at

DraftKings, the Seahawks are getting 76% of money line bets

but 84% of money line dollars. And at Circa Seattle's getting

71% of money line bets, 99% of money line dollars.

So unlike the kind of even like bets and dollars are both like

75% on the spread Seattle, well on the money line for Seattle,

you have way more money than you do with the the ticket count.

So that tells me bigger bets are going with the Seattle Seahawks

to win the game outright. If we continue to build the

case, favorites this year, just straight up winning the game are

out of four games. And then here's another angle to

And we also look at the head to head against Jonathan Gannon,

Seattle's 2 and up. So McDonald's been really good

on the road. Maybe that gives Seattle more

Now, there is a stat here, Kyler Murray as a dog, he's been

pretty good historically, but Kyler Murray winning as a dog is

So it does look like a pretty sharp underplay here.
