- Chris Laker: I posted a clip the other day on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and he's getting comments on TikTok from people who are taking it very literally. Like I'm obviously goofing around when I'm saying the only colleges that I acknowledge are good schools are Harvard, Princeton, Yale. And anything else, I'm not impressed. Like it's kind of true. I kind of believe that. But at the same time, yeah, I know there's other good schools. And people are commenting, what about Carnegie Mellon? I am replying to most of the comments that no, those aren't good schools, or I don't believe that they're actual schools. This names sound made up. And I don't even know that they're good schools. Carnegie Mellon. I know the name. I've heard it before, but I don't know what that is. Some people have a very strong identity associated with the college they went to and the fact that they believe it's a good school and anybody saying it's not a good school, even an idiot they don't know like me, needs to be addressed. that's funny to me. I don't identify with any of the colleges I went to. I don't feel an affinity for them. I don't feel the need to keep up with the alumni association. I don't even understand what a bad college is They want the good school to be acknowledged because it's about the exclusivity. is the school even any better? You go to class and you learn the same shit. I went to four schools, none of them were noteworthy. They were fine. I've gone to bad schools. The teachers taught the class. You don't show up to the bad college get mugged in the hallway and the teacher is high on meth. it's a school that's easier to get into and the people are cool. Some of the students aren't so smart. They want to go to college too. the threat you get in high school of if you don't study, you won't get to go to college is ridiculous because everybody can get into college. If you graduate high school, you can go to college. you can definitely go to community college, But there's also four year colleges you could definitely go to, which are as good as the community college. They're all fine. Carnegie Mellon is just as good as Queens Community College, as far as I know. And if you're gonna be an elitist about well, it's harder to get into there lot of places are hard to get into, and then you get into them and you're like, why is it so hard to get into? You've ever been to Soho House? Big fucking deal. A rooftop pool the size of a bathtub, surrounded by a bunch of douches who still watch entourage. Soho House is so over anyway. Let's get to the news. Microsoft is being suspended from program to apply for green cards for H one B Visa workers, Vance says. So they can still apply for H one B visas, they can't apply for green cards. the people who have H one B visas that are expiring they can move them to a Microsoft office outside of the United States, say you're done, they can keep hiring H one B visa people It doesn't sound like it affects him that much. That's why they have JD Vance say it. Margaret Hamilton, whose software helped land Apollo astronauts on the moon, has died. She was ninety years old. She coined the term software engineer. Which sounds like that would just be a thing that you just said that somebody didn't have to coin it. But she did. more importantly, helped the moon land. And that's why the software engineer is not in the headline. rest in peace, Margaret Hamilton. woman sues flock, comma, officer after cameras used an alleged mistaken theft charge. she got a summons for stealing a package 'cause this cop just went in and looked at the flock camera without a warrant and said, your car was by where this package was stolen so you did it. So she has to go through all this bullshit, now she's suing, which then puts you through more bullshit. You get paid at the end, hopefully. but is it worth having to talk to a lawyer? I guess it must be. So many people sue. I've just never been involved in a lawsuit. It sounds awful, but get your money. Canada to indefinitely bar assisted dying for people whose soul condition is mental illness. They get everything in Canada. Assisted dying? Well, not for mental illness anymore. They gotta do it the old fashioned way now. about that does sound wrong. they're not doing it anymore and everybody else who needs that service can still get it and those people need it. In the United States I think it depends on the state if you're allowed to die Some states you're in a lot of pain. There's no cure. Too bad. You're not even allowed to jump off a bridge. No, that's illegal. Suicide's illegal. Assisted death is illegal. if you try to kill yourself, we will arrest you. Americans still feel worse about the economy than at almost any point in modern history. But the almost, So there was a point in modern history where people did feel worse. What was it? I want to know. Put it in the headline. I'm not gonna read the article. And modern history, does that include the Great Depression? Well that would be the almost probably. Depression's modern history, I think. It's not ancient history. People felt worse then. It looked a lot worse. The pictures look worse than now. But people in general a lot dirtier. It must have smelled awful back then. I think if you traveled back in time to the Great Depression, as much as like, everybody's broke, there's no food, everybody's hungry, but s smell is so bad. why would you travel back in time to the Great Depression? That's a terrible time to travel back to. But yes, people feel terrible about the economy course everybody feels awful about the economy. US seizes three million dollars in fuel shipments to Cuba as crackdown continues. that's just stealing. I guess it's legal because the United States does it, and when the United States does something, it's legal. And when other people do it, it's wrong. And the people of Cuba are suffering because of this. think it's because Trump wants to roll in there and take it over and thinks that if they have no electricity and they have no fuel that the people will turn on the government and be happy when the United States comes in there. But they know that the United States is causing this problem. there tends to be a lot of miscalculations coming out of this administration when it comes to just about everything. it's fucking it's fucked up. That's my editorial opinion. It's fucking fucked up. Krista Pike now walking after execution went wrong, lawyer says. I wouldn't be making a big show of how healthy I am after the execution. I wouldn't get up and start walking around like, I'm still kind of dizzy. I don't feel great. maybe she feels better than she's ever felt. Dying and coming back. You know what she needs to do. This is what Krista Pike needs to do right now. She's gotta get on Fox News. And say, I died and I came back and while I was dead, I talked to Jesus, and then this is what Jesus said. Don't execute me and give me a show on Fox News. That's what Jesus said. That's all I'm hey, you do with that information what you want, Fox News. Russian attack on bus kills at least thirty people near Ukraine front line. That's that's a terrorist attack. attacking a bus of people. Russia's been doing terrorism on Ukraine this entire time and when a government does terrorism, like clear terrorism, it does not get called terrorism. It seems odd to not call it what it is. Gruesome injuries throw spotlight on France's policing of high school protests. These students of France are going full Les Miz and the cops are fucking them up. And they want more funding for education. I what are you gonna do? Give them less now? we can't negotiate with them because they're protesting. You give them the more funding for education. They want more homework. That's why they're out in the street. I would be out in the street because I don't want to go to school, but these they want more school. Give Give this give them the more school.
