- 2:11Speaker 2: wild moments in the public eye as of recent Just
- 2:14Speaker 2: a dad.
- 2:16Speaker 3: Not done to daddy. No, he's not daddy. I thought
- 2:20Speaker 3: he was attractive.
- 2:21Speaker 1: But now I know too much.
- 2:22Speaker 3: I know too much that you had the incident on
- 2:24Speaker 3: the plane with your kids, and I don't like that.
- 2:25Speaker 1: That's not daddy behavior.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Okay, I have just a couple more for you here, Angie.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Paul Rudd has two kids, ageless, charm, and he's a
- 2:34Speaker 2: devoted family man.

- 3:36Speaker 3: He's very talented, very talent, talented guy, very talented. He
- 3:41Speaker 3: just doesn't do it for I think I saw the
- 3:44Speaker 3: Arthur meme comparison too many times and it ruined it.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Do you agree with all of Angie's choices as we
- 3:52Speaker 2: celebrate Father's Day coming up on Sunday with a game
- 3:55Speaker 2: called Dad Daddy Daddy?
- 3:58Speaker 1: Any you disagree with let us know.
- 3:59Speaker 2: It's seven one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 4:07Speaker 4: Am on the problem.
- 4:09Speaker 3: It's all right. Our buddy Tyler has sent us his dilemma,
- 4:14Speaker 3: wondering if he's the problem. By the way, if you
- 4:16Speaker 3: ever have a situation where you want to know if
- 4:18Speaker 3: you are the problem, you can head to Big nine
- 4:20Speaker 3: eight seven dot com. Click on the on air tab
- 4:23Speaker 3: and there's a little submission form so Gabe and I
- 4:26Speaker 3: and the great listeners of the FM area can give
- 4:29Speaker 3: you some advice. All right, This is our email from Tyler. Hey,
- 4:34Speaker 3: Gab and Angie, I love listening to you guys, and
- 4:36Speaker 3: Gabe's outbursts are always hilarious and low key decent advice.
- 4:41Speaker 1: You got a fam I'm ja giving is real.
- 4:44Speaker 3: I was wondering if you think I'm the problem at
- 4:48Speaker 3: the gym. I go to a woman at my gym
- 4:51Speaker 3: named Andrea asked me out after some normal, not at
- 4:54Speaker 3: all romantic interactions.
- 4:56Speaker 1: That's nice, you just like being hit on.
- 5:00Speaker 3: I turned her down, and shortly after I started getting
- 5:04Speaker 3: a weird vibe from her and began avoiding her. Oh oh.
- 5:08Speaker 3: She confronted me about avoiding her twice confronted him, and
- 5:12Speaker 3: the second time I said she was embarrassing herself, after
- 5:17Speaker 3: which she put her foot on the weight stack of
- 5:19Speaker 3: the machine I was using, causing me to let go
- 5:22Speaker 3: of the bar really quickly and slam the weights.
- 5:25Speaker 1: This woman, okay.
- 5:26Speaker 3: I initially thought I was being a jerk for my
- 5:29Speaker 3: rude comment, but some friends think I actually underreacted and
- 5:33Speaker 3: told me to talk to the gym's manager. After talking
- 5:35Speaker 3: with the gym staff, Andrea confronted me about the situation
- 5:39Speaker 3: and she tried asking me out again.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. I turned her down.
- 5:44Speaker 3: We argued briefly, and she said I needed to grow up.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Am I the problem? Tyler? You are not the problem
- 5:53Speaker 1: at all. Wow?
- 5:55Speaker 2: Well hold on now, Tyler. No, No, that is insane behavior.
- 6:02Speaker 3: That is absolutely correct that she was embarrassing herself. And
- 6:06Speaker 3: I feel like he had every right to say I'm
- 6:09Speaker 3: with his friends on this one that they said he underreacted,
- 6:12Speaker 3: absolutely because I get if she felt embarrassed in the
- 6:15Speaker 3: moment or something and got defensive. Yeah, and got defensive.
- 6:18Speaker 1: But I don't know.
- 6:19Speaker 3: You can't be stepping on the weight and making him
- 6:23Speaker 3: drop the thing.
- 6:23Speaker 1: That's like, not okay, right, It's dangerous. It's dangerous. You
- 6:28Speaker 1: know what.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Though, I respect a lady who goes out there and
- 6:30Speaker 2: tries to get what she wants. I really, do you know,
- 6:33Speaker 2: this Tyler might be a hunk. This dude might be
- 6:36Speaker 2: a one and a billion, and Andrea does not want
- 6:40Speaker 2: to miss out on her chance to capture such a wonderful, handsome,
- 6:45Speaker 2: fit young man.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Andrea is doing all she.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Can, oh my gosh, all she can to not let
- 6:52Speaker 2: anyone else scam on her.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Squirrel, scam on her squirrel, Oh my gosh. I think
- 6:57Speaker 3: she is absolutely unhinged for what she did. I think
- 7:01Speaker 3: that you think Tyler is a hunk based solely on
- 7:05Speaker 3: the fact that he enjoys your outbursts.
- 7:09Speaker 2: I'm just saying we could make a case where Andrea
- 7:12Speaker 2: is just really going and getting it.
- 7:15Speaker 3: Listen, I understand shooting your shots. I have shot my
- 7:19Speaker 3: shot and then been turned down before.
- 7:22Speaker 2: I have shot my shot and been turned down hundreds,
- 7:26Speaker 2: not two digits, three digits worth of dome.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Okay, Well, then afterward, did you act like a ridiculous person?
- 7:32Speaker 1: Oh no, it was a numbers game. I don't.
- 7:37Speaker 3: No, Tyler, you are not the problem. I don't think,
- 7:41Speaker 3: but you let us know. Maybe, I mean, maybe we're
- 7:44Speaker 3: on an island.
- 7:44Speaker 1: What do we know, We're in our thirties.
- 7:46Speaker 3: Yees of seven oh one two, eight one, nine eight seven.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Do you think Tyler is the problem? After telling this
- 7:54Speaker 3: woman at the gym she was embarrassing herself for turning
- 7:58Speaker 3: him down.
- 8:04Speaker 1: This is a am I the problem?
- 8:06Speaker 3: First, we've before and I'm very excited. Okay. So earlier
- 8:10Speaker 3: we Tyler had emailed us yesterday or a couple of
- 8:14Speaker 3: days ago. You know, we got a lot of submissions. Okay, Yeah,
- 8:18Speaker 3: So he had emailed us, letting us know that he
- 8:20Speaker 3: was having a problem with this woman Andrea at the gym,
- 8:23Speaker 3: who had asked him out and he turned her down,
- 8:26Speaker 3: and she did not take that one. Was not happy
- 8:29Speaker 3: at all, no arguing with him, acting kind of ridiculous,
- 8:32Speaker 3: a little bit stockerish at the gym. And he was
- 8:35Speaker 3: worried that maybe he was the problem because at one
- 8:38Speaker 3: point he told her, you're embarrassing yourself when she kept
- 8:42Speaker 3: trying to pursue him.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Such a low key, polite but fantastic insult. I know,
- 8:47Speaker 2: if someone says that to you, A, you're embarrassed, and
- 8:50Speaker 2: B there's no comeback.
- 8:51Speaker 3: From there, no nothing unless right, well, yeah, then you
- 8:55Speaker 3: fix You're still embarrassed. Okay, so we're obviously we're talking
- 9:00Speaker 3: about it. Tyler has emailed us for the update.
- 9:04Speaker 1: We got a live time update from Tyler.
- 9:07Speaker 3: Yes, okay, so he said earlier this week, I was
- 9:11Speaker 3: going to talk to the gym's management about what was
- 9:13Speaker 3: going on with Andrea. I tried going to the front
- 9:15Speaker 3: desk alone, but of course Andrew was there and followed me.
- 9:19Speaker 3: I told them what she did, and during the conversation,
- 9:22Speaker 3: this woman is wild.
- 9:23Speaker 1: She kept trying to interrupt me and talk over me.
- 9:25Speaker 3: But the woman at the front desk thankfully told her
- 9:28Speaker 3: to be quiet and wait her turn.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Whoever that lady is is a superhero. She's the goat.
- 9:33Speaker 3: After explaining what was going on, the woman at the
- 9:36Speaker 3: front desk asked for her membership card.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Andrea didn't want to give it to her.
- 9:40Speaker 3: The staff member said if she didn't, she would ban her.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Andrea gave her the card and the woman at the
- 9:47Speaker 3: front desk said to leave, and she was suspended for
- 9:49Speaker 3: a month.
- 9:50Speaker 1: But then, oh my god, Tyler, you.
- 9:54Speaker 3: Make sure that your doors are locked and like close
- 9:56Speaker 3: your windows.
- 9:57Speaker 1: This woman is wild.
- 9:59Speaker 3: Andrea rejected and got into an argument with the staff
- 10:02Speaker 3: member that escalated, and then Andrea ended.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Up calling the woman the B word at all.
- 10:09Speaker 3: One of the most awkward situations I've ever been a
- 10:11Speaker 3: part of. The Good news, Andrea has now been banned permanently.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Oh well, there you go, Tyler.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Now I you can go get buff that the headphones
- 10:21Speaker 2: on and not don't have to worry someone's staring at you.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Across the way.
- 10:24Speaker 3: What a roller coaster that was. So I think it's
- 10:28Speaker 3: evident that Tyler was not the problem. The problem is
- 10:32Speaker 3: I don't know. Yeah, I don't know, Tyler.
- 10:35Speaker 1: I think It's kind of sweet that you.
- 10:37Speaker 2: Had a lady that was trying to fight for you
- 10:39Speaker 2: no and getting a big fight with you next.
- 10:42Speaker 1: To her baby rain. Dear vibes. If I ever saw.
- 10:48Speaker 2: It, today's riety big, ninety eight point seven happy Friday.
- 10:54Speaker 1: We have made it. It is, Gabe and Angie.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Today going to be just kind of cloudy, wet and
- 10:59Speaker 2: rainy with a high of sixty three. So basically what
- 11:03Speaker 2: you see outside right this very second, that's what you're
- 11:06Speaker 2: gonna get for the moment for most of the day. Now,
- 11:08Speaker 2: that might not necessarily be a little victory for you
- 11:11Speaker 2: unless you're a rain collector.
- 11:13Speaker 1: So we are gonna talk about.
- 11:16Speaker 3: Little victory is the sport that got me, got me.
- 11:26Speaker 1: I'll try to be better going forward. Not my best
- 11:28Speaker 1: work there.
- 11:29Speaker 3: You're fine, but we do want to hear your little victories.
- 11:32Speaker 3: If you have a little victory, give us a call.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Seven oh one two eight o one nine eighty seven.
- 11:38Speaker 3: I have a little victory. Well it's not my own,
- 11:40Speaker 3: but it's kind of my own. So my boyfriend is
- 11:41Speaker 3: finally moving here too, Fargo. Yeah, and he wants to,
- 11:47Speaker 3: you know, have a job by the time he gets
- 11:49Speaker 3: out here.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Well, now, they're a little overrated there.
- 11:51Speaker 3: That would be preferable, just you know, in terms of
- 11:54Speaker 3: income and living. But he had an interview yesterday.
- 11:58Speaker 1: He's a teacher.
- 11:59Speaker 3: He had an interview yesterday for a position at a school,
- 12:02Speaker 3: and the interview went really well, according to him. So
- 12:06Speaker 3: fingers crossed. Hopefully it all works out, and then if
- 12:09Speaker 3: it doesn't, that just means that it's not for him.
- 12:11Speaker 3: That I don't think that, it means that he's a
- 12:13Speaker 3: trash teacher.
- 12:15Speaker 1: I wait to look on the bright side.
- 12:18Speaker 3: True, Like whatever's for you is for you, is what
- 12:21Speaker 3: I believe. So if it doesn't work out, then that
- 12:23Speaker 3: means there's something else. But I just like that, like
- 12:25Speaker 3: the ball is rolling. He got his teaching license for
- 12:29Speaker 3: North Dakota and he has his.
- 12:31Speaker 1: First interview under his belt.
- 12:32Speaker 3: So it's very exciting as we make the transition to
- 12:35Speaker 3: living in the same city.
- 12:36Speaker 1: And I'm very excited.
- 12:38Speaker 2: That is awesome. Can I say his name? Oh yeah, yeah,
- 12:42Speaker 2: that is an awesome thing for Mike. Yes, heck yeah,
- 12:46Speaker 2: all right, Well good for him. Well, I have a
- 12:48Speaker 2: little victory, Angie, And I tell you what I have
- 12:50Speaker 2: wanted one of these four years, years I mean years.
- 12:56Speaker 2: The first time that I really kind of found out
- 12:59Speaker 2: about these things, which they've existed for a billion years,
- 13:02Speaker 2: But was a thermostat that you could control from your phone.
- 13:07Speaker 2: My wife and I got one for our wedding when
- 13:11Speaker 2: we lived in Iowa. Right well, the one that we
- 13:14Speaker 2: got there was something about like the there's like there's
- 13:17Speaker 2: like wires that you just take your thermostat off, put
- 13:20Speaker 2: on your smart thermostat. You just basically connect the wires
- 13:22Speaker 2: and it's a really simple easy thing that most people
- 13:25Speaker 2: can just do. Well, we got one for our wedding
- 13:28Speaker 2: almost two years ago, and we couldn't use it. We
- 13:33Speaker 2: just didn't have the right type of wire. Oh well,
- 13:37Speaker 2: that is no longer the case. I can turn off,
- 13:41Speaker 2: turn up, turn down, control my thermostat from right here
- 13:47Speaker 2: in the studio at my house in South Fargo, And
- 13:51Speaker 2: I tell you what, I feel like a million bucks
- 13:54Speaker 2: now in the summer, probably not really as cool, but
- 13:57Speaker 2: I can't wait to turn that baby down to when
- 13:59Speaker 2: the heats on the sixty five degrees when no one's
- 14:03Speaker 2: in there, And just think about all the money I'm saving.
- 14:06Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, it right now, is your wife Corey sleeping?
- 14:10Speaker 1: No, she's with her right.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Now she is right now, And I know that's a
- 14:14Speaker 2: stupid little victory, but I just want it.
- 14:17Speaker 1: I wanted one of these forever. I love.
- 14:19Speaker 2: This came true yesterday, so thank you. I appreciate that.
- 14:23Speaker 2: On the way, we have the kit Larroy. Also coming up,
- 14:26Speaker 2: we have Teddy Swims and then we'll dive on into
- 14:28Speaker 2: the tea this morning here on Big ninety eight point
- 14:30Speaker 2: seven inside Eerie from the British broadcast company they use
- 14:39Speaker 2: they used to film this terrifying zombie show that now
- 14:45Speaker 2: the set is basically just left to rot, I guess
- 14:48Speaker 2: unless someone comes by and buys it and bulldozes everything and.
- 14:51Speaker 3: There's just like a zombie atmosphere.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Basically, Yeah, it's gonna be the you know, at some
- 14:57Speaker 2: point someone's gonna buy this, make some money on like
- 14:58Speaker 2: the craziest Halloween part already ever.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Oh yeah, for sure. I want to be that person. Actually,
- 15:04Speaker 3: I live for Hamley.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Well.
- 15:06Speaker 2: I was wondering, is there a film set that you
- 15:11Speaker 2: would love to visit?
- 15:13Speaker 1: It could be anything, it could be a TV set.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Maybe you really want to just go see where Cheers
- 15:18Speaker 2: was filmed and check out the set, the bar, the.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Whole nine yards, you know, what's funny? Is there something
- 15:26Speaker 1: that for you?
- 15:27Speaker 3: They do a lot of those like and they travel
- 15:30Speaker 3: across the country like experiences where you can visit the
- 15:33Speaker 3: friend set, the Harry Potter set, Ye the Office like.
- 15:37Speaker 3: They have a lot of those pop ups. So I
- 15:39Speaker 3: feel like, I really am gonna just dig into my
- 15:43Speaker 3: creative brain and I'm gonna choose the Love is Blind sets.
- 15:49Speaker 3: Oh really, I can't join Love is Blind because I'm
- 15:53Speaker 3: too shallow. No, because I'm happily with someone, and so
- 15:56Speaker 3: I'm never gonna be able to experience the pods.
- 15:59Speaker 1: But I just I want to tour the pods.
- 16:01Speaker 3: I want to see what the whole thing is like
- 16:03Speaker 3: like because they have their living quarters, the women and
- 16:06Speaker 3: the men have their living quarters, and then it looks
- 16:08Speaker 3: like I want to know how much of it is
- 16:10Speaker 3: like TV magic, because then they step out of the
- 16:12Speaker 3: living quarters and into this long haulway and then there's
- 16:15Speaker 3: all these pods lined up right where you go in
- 16:18Speaker 3: and you talk to me, and I just I need
- 16:20Speaker 3: to see what it's like in real life and then
- 16:23Speaker 3: pretend that I'm on the Love is Blind date.
- 16:25Speaker 1: I love it.
- 16:26Speaker 3: That's what I would want to do. I think that's
- 16:28Speaker 3: the one.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Is there a movie? Is there a film set you
- 16:34Speaker 2: would love to see? For me, it's really really tough
- 16:36Speaker 2: because Harry Potter was such a big part of me
- 16:38Speaker 2: growing up. I grew up the same age as the
- 16:41Speaker 2: characters in those books. Yeah, so it'd be awesome for that.
- 16:44Speaker 2: It's so hard to not say. Man, you know what'd
- 16:47Speaker 2: be awesome is to go see and I know it's
- 16:49Speaker 2: like a green screen and all that, but it'd be
- 16:51Speaker 2: so awesome to go see uh Game of Thrones.
- 16:55Speaker 3: Oh yeah, you know what, there's a tool there's like
- 16:58Speaker 3: tours that you can take if you go to like
- 17:00Speaker 3: where did they film in, like Greenland or Iceland, one
- 17:03Speaker 3: of the lens.
- 17:04Speaker 1: And.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Yeah, you can see all the castles and stuff that
- 17:09Speaker 3: they like filmed with.
- 17:10Speaker 1: But yeah, for sure.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Yeah, it'd be awesome to see like the North Yes,
- 17:16Speaker 2: so and all that.
- 17:17Speaker 1: That would be so sweet if.
- 17:19Speaker 2: You could visit a film, movie, TV set, what would it.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Be, Tyler?
- 17:23Speaker 4: Yeah, I would like to visit the Cheers set, which
- 17:26Speaker 4: the original set still existed the way it was on
- 17:28Speaker 4: the show. I know there's a replica in Boston, but
- 17:31Speaker 4: to be on the original set would be amazing.
- 17:34Speaker 3: That's what's yeah. But that's what's tough is getting on
- 17:37Speaker 3: the original. That's why they do all of those pop
- 17:39Speaker 3: up wines that travel around the country.
- 17:41Speaker 1: We also have Stephanie the high.
- 17:43Speaker 4: Wark set from the Harry Potter film, especially the Great
- 17:46Speaker 4: Hall or Digon Alley.
- 17:47Speaker 3: It would feel like stepping into a childhood wonder with
- 17:50Speaker 3: the side of butter beer.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Yeah, the butter beer. That'd be the best.
- 17:55Speaker 2: And I did have some butter beer when I visited
- 17:58Speaker 2: whatever that is that Orlando.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Oh universally yeah.
- 18:01Speaker 2: And absolutely delicious. But to really be there on Diagon
- 18:05Speaker 2: Alley that would be out.
- 18:06Speaker 1: That would be dope.
- 18:07Speaker 3: What you can do those if you go to London
- 18:09Speaker 3: and you go to the train station, they have platform
- 18:12Speaker 3: nine and three quarters.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Is there a philm movie or TV set you would
- 18:19Speaker 2: love to see? One day I start My Father's Day
- 18:25Speaker 2: is coming up on Sunday. We wish all the dads
- 18:28Speaker 2: out there for sure, a happy Father's Day today.
- 18:30Speaker 1: And you know, mom, dad.
- 18:33Speaker 2: It's gotta be one of the best titles you ever
- 18:37Speaker 2: have in your life. One of my favorite titles that
- 18:39Speaker 2: I have is Husband I love being Corey's hubby.
- 18:42Speaker 1: It's so cool and something I'm very proud of.
- 18:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I love being a mom. I love being a parent.
- 18:48Speaker 3: Excellent title, but it is not without its challenges. Being
- 18:51Speaker 3: a parent is really hard but very rewarding.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 18:54Speaker 2: That's why I was I was wondering this morning here
- 18:59Speaker 2: now and Dad, it might be like the most proud
- 19:03Speaker 2: title you ever have, but is like grandma and grandpa
- 19:08Speaker 2: the most fun title you ever have. That's gotta be
- 19:12Speaker 2: fifty times more fun one.
- 19:15Speaker 3: The woman who raised me is absolutely not the person
- 19:23Speaker 3: that my kids are getting. Grandma viv Young, be young,
- 19:28Speaker 3: Grandma Vivian. She is a delight, yes and she I mean,
- 19:33Speaker 3: when you're a grandparent, you don't have to discipline them.
- 19:36Speaker 1: That's mom's job.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Yeah, so she just gets to be super fun, give
- 19:41Speaker 3: them whatever they want, boil them rat and then you know,
- 19:45Speaker 3: give them back, and then you ask her to babysit.
- 19:48Speaker 3: She comes in and like their eyes light up and
- 19:50Speaker 3: they're like, yes.
- 19:51Speaker 1: We're so glad our mom's leaving.
- 19:53Speaker 3: Give me Grandma, Like, I don't know, I always tell
- 19:57Speaker 3: my kids not to have kids.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Oh, because you don't want to be grandma. And I
- 20:04Speaker 1: don't want to be grandma Angie just yet.
- 20:06Speaker 3: My kids are at an age gap where I really
- 20:09Speaker 3: need them to like show up super weight.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Yeah, so I can have some time to myself.
- 20:14Speaker 3: But I just know if I were a grandma, gosh,
- 20:16Speaker 3: I'd be the coolest grandma on the block.
- 20:18Speaker 2: I remember growing up, we'd go visit my grandparents, well
- 20:21Speaker 2: one in specific, the gat. I'd open the door, and
- 20:24Speaker 2: I mean it was like the pearly gates. It was
- 20:26Speaker 2: oh when you walk in, Oh, my gosh. Being a
- 20:30Speaker 2: grandma or a grandpa has got to be the absolute best.
- 20:35Speaker 2: So what are you looking forward to the most about
- 20:38Speaker 2: being a grandparent? Seven oh one two eight zero one
- 20:41Speaker 2: nine eight seven. My dad always jokes like, hey, if
- 20:44Speaker 2: I'm ever a granddad, I'm gonna spoil your kids to
- 20:49Speaker 2: death and then give them back and make you deal
- 20:51Speaker 2: with it. Yeah, so that's what my dad would say.
- 20:55Speaker 2: What about you, Angie, what do you think? Well, your
- 20:57Speaker 2: mom is a grandma. What about you? What would you
- 20:59Speaker 2: look forward to the most about being a grandparent.
- 21:00Speaker 3: Do you think I just like want all of the
- 21:03Speaker 3: cute pictures. Sure, Like, I just I'm obsessed with baby pictures.
- 21:10Speaker 3: And so if I and then like, my kids aren't
- 21:12Speaker 3: babies anymore, so no more baby pictures. So then when
- 21:15Speaker 3: the grand babies come around, yes, give me all the photos.
- 21:18Speaker 3: I will take them to go, get all the photoshoots done.
- 21:21Speaker 3: I want baby pictures galore. That sounds weird, and then
- 21:24Speaker 3: you don't.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Have to worry about the you know, three am, wake
- 21:27Speaker 2: up exactly.
- 21:28Speaker 3: I also want to see, like how my genes translate
- 21:32Speaker 3: into the grandkids, because my kids, for a very long time,
- 21:36Speaker 3: look exactly like their father. I looked like I was
- 21:39Speaker 3: the nanny with the children because they didn't look anything
- 21:42Speaker 3: like me. So I'm wondering if my jeans will get a.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Little stronger in the next generation.
- 21:47Speaker 2: All right, Tammy, we have on the phone here. What
- 21:49Speaker 2: are you looking forward to about becoming a grandparent?
- 21:52Speaker 4: Watching your values, your quirks, and your humor echo into
- 21:56Speaker 4: a whole new little human but with your own stint.
- 21:59Speaker 4: It's kind of like time travel.
- 22:01Speaker 1: That is, it is a good way to look at it.
- 22:03Speaker 3: It's kind of like time travel, also very wholesome. When
- 22:07Speaker 3: she's talking about the values and the morals and I'm
- 22:10Speaker 3: over here, like, are they gonna look like me?
- 22:14Speaker 2: We have Grant on the phone grant, What are you
- 22:16Speaker 2: looking forward to the most abhout becoming a grandparent.
- 22:18Speaker 4: I think the best part is getting to spend time
- 22:20Speaker 4: with your grandkids, but then they go home for the
- 22:23Speaker 4: hard stuff. Grand Parents get to have all the fun
- 22:26Speaker 4: and almost none of the pain in.
- 22:28Speaker 2: The say, yeah, now, I'm not sure in a situation
- 22:30Speaker 2: where like the kids live there or something that's a
- 22:32Speaker 2: bit different. But as I was saying, you are you
- 22:36Speaker 2: literally have a free fun card forever.
- 22:40Speaker 3: Yeah, it's because you raised you raised your kids right
- 22:43Speaker 3: and you had to do all the grueling part or whatever. Yeah,
- 22:46Speaker 3: and now with this, like it's almost like you get
- 22:48Speaker 3: to be with your kids again but without any of
- 22:51Speaker 3: the stress.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Geel like a receding.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Yeah, the worst and foremost for mother we wished fathers
- 23:01Speaker 2: or for Mother's Day, we wish fathers.
- 23:03Speaker 1: For Mother's Day. We wish mothers a happy Mother's Day.
- 23:06Speaker 2: So today the same, we want to wish father's happy
- 23:09Speaker 2: Father's Day. But I do have your good News of
- 23:12Speaker 2: the Day story, which is a very very cool story
- 23:15Speaker 2: about dough Boys Pizzeria. It's this small family owned restaurant
- 23:20Speaker 2: and they're providing free meals to children over the summer.
- 23:24Speaker 2: The co owner Nancy Baker, she began the initiative during
- 23:28Speaker 2: the pandemic as a way to give back to her community.
- 23:31Speaker 2: It in or inspired by her own upbringing and her
- 23:35Speaker 2: mother's charitable habits, she decided to offer lunches to children
- 23:39Speaker 2: who might otherwise go without during school breaks. Every Wednesday
- 23:42Speaker 2: from ten to noon, dough Boys hosts a Sunny Snacks
- 23:45Speaker 2: and Smiles event, which distributes one hundred free hot dog
- 23:49Speaker 2: sack lunches. Despite the challenges all small business face, Baker
- 23:54Speaker 2: continues to serve the community and regularly post updates on
- 23:57Speaker 2: social media so families know what to expect each week.
- 24:01Speaker 2: She says she received lots of calls from families checking
- 24:05Speaker 2: in about the meal distribution and is committed defeating as
- 24:07Speaker 2: many children as she can.
- 24:10Speaker 1: This is beautiful, Yes it is.
- 24:12Speaker 2: She has a thirteen year old granddaughter who now helps
- 24:14Speaker 2: her prepare and pack the meals. There is just one
- 24:17Speaker 2: thing about this that I don't love. This is a
- 24:21Speaker 2: great story. This lady is incredible for her community. I
- 24:24Speaker 2: am not a fan though, of people calling and be like, hey,
- 24:26Speaker 2: what's the schedule this week? All right, you're getting a
- 24:30Speaker 2: free meal. Why don't you go and appreciate the hard
- 24:33Speaker 2: work that she has done and just take what it
- 24:35Speaker 2: is if.
- 24:36Speaker 1: You need it. Well, I'm just not.
- 24:38Speaker 4: Now.
- 24:38Speaker 2: You're like expecting a free thing from this lady. I
- 24:41Speaker 2: don't love that, But I do love all the work
- 24:44Speaker 2: that she pays out and she's trying to help as
- 24:47Speaker 2: many kids as possible. That is wonderful. The world is
- 24:50Speaker 2: full of nice people. If you can't find one, you
- 24:52Speaker 2: gotta be one. Happy Friday to you.
