- 0:16Speaker 1: When I got up this morning at three point thirty,
- 0:18Speaker 1: I said to myself, this is the last time I'll
- 0:20Speaker 1: be in a bed for almost two days because after
- 0:23Speaker 1: the show today we go to Newark and we begin
- 0:26Speaker 1: a two week vacation. So I won't see you Christine
- 0:29Speaker 1: for two more weeks. And it's kind of weird for
- 0:31Speaker 1: me because we take two weeks off during Christmas.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Yes, we're christ to that, but I've never.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Taken two weeks off in the middle of well whenever
- 0:38Speaker 1: we're working.
- 0:39Speaker 2: So this is going to be a long time, but
- 0:41Speaker 2: I'm looking forward to it.
- 0:42Speaker 4: You're going to enjoy it.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's a long flight.
- 0:46Speaker 4: But it'll be worth it.
- 0:47Speaker 1: I broke this down yesterday. You're right, Christine, I can't
- 0:49Speaker 1: really complain. It'll be worth it when we get there.
- 0:51Speaker 1: And my wife always says, hey, if it was close,
- 0:53Speaker 1: everybody would do it. Part of the reward is, you know,
- 0:57Speaker 1: sucking it up through these long flights right, true, But
- 1:00Speaker 1: so Newark to San Francisco four fifty five, we leave today.
- 1:04Speaker 2: We land in San fran at eight eighteen. We have
- 1:07Speaker 2: two hours.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Actually oh too before we jump on a flight to
- 1:11Speaker 1: Singapore from San France.
- 1:13Speaker 2: So we get a two hour layover.
- 1:14Speaker 4: That's good. You need the time that.
- 1:15Speaker 1: My friend is a sixteen hour flight. We land in Singapore.
- 1:20Speaker 1: What time do we land in Singapore at.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Six sixteen am on Friday morning?
- 1:26Speaker 4: Okay?
- 1:27Speaker 2: Then we have an hour layover. We're not done flying.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Yeah, And we go.
- 1:31Speaker 1: From Singapore to Fouquette and we finally get there at
- 1:37Speaker 1: one fifteen pm wow on Friday. So I'm starting traveling today. Yeah,
- 1:45Speaker 1: and there is some like time time going on. So
- 1:50Speaker 1: again it's not right out if it's forty eight hours,
- 1:52Speaker 1: it's kind of like twenty eight hours.
- 1:54Speaker 2: I guess, yes, little hard to five and I'm losing traps.
- 1:57Speaker 4: You do need to que White Lotus music at some
- 2:00Speaker 4: point when we discuss Thailand. You're so ready to get
- 2:02Speaker 4: it ready.
- 2:03Speaker 2: You're so right? Yeah, I promise I'll have it before
- 2:05Speaker 2: we end.
- 2:05Speaker 1: The show today and then we're there for like a
- 2:09Speaker 1: week and then we start our trek back. But We're
- 2:11Speaker 1: going to stop in Bangkok on the way back and
- 2:13Speaker 1: stop in Tokyo on the way back.
- 2:15Speaker 2: It's so cool, so I'm looking forward to it.
- 2:17Speaker 4: It's a cool trip.
- 2:18Speaker 2: The kids will have a blast.
- 2:19Speaker 1: They've gotten really good at traveling, and they get unlimited
- 2:23Speaker 1: iPad because they get hardly any iPad at home, so
- 2:26Speaker 1: they know that when we travel, they get the iPad.
- 2:28Speaker 4: Oh that's good.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I don't know if they're excited about the trip or
- 2:31Speaker 2: about the iPad.
- 2:32Speaker 4: Whatever it takes.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Keep happy anyway, Please follow me.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I'm a big fan of putting things on my story.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I don't post a lot of pictures. It's mainly on
- 2:41Speaker 1: my story.
- 2:42Speaker 4: I know. I love your travels.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Yeah, so Instagram, Paul Kubby Bryant. I'm on Instagram, Paul
- 2:46Speaker 1: Kubby Bryant if you're interested to follow along, and of
- 2:49Speaker 1: course the Christine Naggy because you've got traveling going on
- 2:52Speaker 1: next week.
- 2:52Speaker 4: Thank you, Bryant. Yes, going up to Salem.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Salem, Massachusetts. Yes, that's next week.
- 2:58Speaker 4: Yeah, we're just going for a couple of nights and
- 3:00Speaker 4: I've just booked a couple of tours.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Wait, hold on, I'm going to be in trouble, so
- 3:08Speaker 1: these are the ghost tours.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Yes that Eric really doesn't know what you're doing, right, No.
- 3:13Speaker 4: So you know he don't know because he's sleeping right now,
- 3:16Speaker 4: which is perfect, so I can do all these things.
- 3:18Speaker 2: I guess is not really throwing him under the bus.
- 3:20Speaker 4: Oh no, not at all at all. No, I'm just
- 3:22Speaker 4: sharing because he's he's asleep. I booked, do you remember yesterday?
- 3:26Speaker 4: I was like, I don't know should I book? There's
- 3:28Speaker 4: vampire tours, which tours, then there's like history tours, and
- 3:32Speaker 4: then there's a ghost tour where you actually get to
- 3:34Speaker 4: be a ghost buster. And I booked the Ghostbuster tour
- 3:38Speaker 4: and was texting with him like a little bit because
- 3:40Speaker 4: he was working so he could only give me like
- 3:42Speaker 4: one word answers and he was I was like, do
- 3:44Speaker 4: you want to which a vampire? He said, anything but
- 3:48Speaker 4: the one with equipment, which is the Ghostbuster tour. So
- 3:51Speaker 4: what was the one? I had booked the one with
- 3:53Speaker 4: that one? Right? Right? So then yesterday we finally get
- 3:56Speaker 4: together because you know, our hours lined up, and I
- 4:00Speaker 4: asked him once again. He's like, I don't want to
- 4:02Speaker 4: do the Ghostbusters one, and I said, well, okay, that's
- 4:05Speaker 4: the one I booked and then he said, well, then
- 4:08Speaker 4: why do you ask He's like, why do you ask me?
- 4:11Speaker 4: And he's like, I know, you keep asking me every
- 4:13Speaker 4: different way, but every time I'm going to say, I'd
- 4:16Speaker 4: rather do the History one. So here's what I did.
- 4:19Speaker 4: I booked the History one that's got some ghost stories
- 4:22Speaker 4: in it. But right afterwards is the Ghostbusters tour with
- 4:26Speaker 4: all the equipment, with all the equipment, So you didn't
- 4:29Speaker 4: cancel that. I haven't canceled it yet, can you or
- 4:32Speaker 4: would you? We can up to twenty four hours before
- 4:35Speaker 4: the tour. I'm just trying to think of a way
- 4:38Speaker 4: to break it to Eric that maybe we do two
- 4:41Speaker 4: tours in one evening.
- 4:43Speaker 1: You know what, I really think he might not have
- 4:45Speaker 1: to wear the equipment either, even though on the flyer
- 4:47Speaker 1: or whatever on the website it says equipment and all that.
- 4:49Speaker 1: You know, how many people probably show up and go,
- 4:51Speaker 1: I want to do it, but do I really have
- 4:52Speaker 1: to put all that on I show? They're probably be like, okay, okay.
- 4:55Speaker 4: You don't wear gear. Honestly, Cubby, you don't wear gear.
- 4:57Speaker 4: It's like this little box that you carry EMF for
- 4:59Speaker 4: some thing like that looks like you're getting little radio
- 5:01Speaker 4: waves and you just like hold it up and you're like, oh,
- 5:04Speaker 4: there's a lot of activity here. And then I think
- 5:08Speaker 4: like the tour guide has some stuff that they carry,
- 5:11Speaker 4: but we're not getting like the Proton backpack or anything
- 5:15Speaker 4: like that, which I think he's concerned about.
- 5:17Speaker 2: No slime going on, no, none of.
- 5:19Speaker 4: That, none of that. So I'm gonna see if I
- 5:21Speaker 4: can pull this off. We would do six to eight
- 5:24Speaker 4: for the History Tour, and then eight thirty till ten
- 5:28Speaker 4: is the Ghostbusters.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Well, the good thing in your favor is you guys
- 5:31Speaker 2: are night people.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Yeah, so it's not like it's early in the morning, right,
- 5:35Speaker 1: so you know he'll wake up at two o'clock like
- 5:37Speaker 1: the rock stars do. Yes, then you'll go right to
- 5:39Speaker 1: dinner pretty much, and then do your well do my
- 5:41Speaker 1: old man dinner.
- 5:42Speaker 4: I like to eat dinner at four. It's perfect.
- 5:44Speaker 1: I love it all right, So vacations all around for
- 5:47Speaker 1: all of us. So you know, if you hear some
- 5:49Speaker 1: different people on light FM the next couple of weeks,
- 5:51Speaker 1: beare with us. We'll be back together for the new
- 5:54Speaker 1: fall season in late August. We're coming right back with
- 5:57Speaker 1: two pretty cool things. And later on this hour, Christine's
- 6:00Speaker 1: gonna tell me why I should not use the coffee
- 6:03Speaker 1: maker in the hotel room, which I do all the time.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Why shouldn't we We'll talk about that coming up.
- 6:08Speaker 5: More Covey and Christine and the great music variety you
- 6:10Speaker 5: expect next on light at them.
- 6:14Speaker 4: I need to tell you two cents. All right, let's
- 6:18Speaker 4: talk pretty cool things.
- 6:20Speaker 3: Okay, let's talk about mosquitoes, and some of us are
- 6:24Speaker 3: really attractive or attractive. Two mosquitoes. There's three five hundred
- 6:30Speaker 3: mosquito species. Only three groups bite humans.
- 6:35Speaker 4: They make a lot of noise. Those three, they.
- 6:37Speaker 3: Certainly do well. They buzz around. There's only three of them.
- 6:41Speaker 3: One is during the day bites, the other bites at night,
- 6:45Speaker 3: and the third bites in the morning and evening hours.
- 6:48Speaker 3: Now here's the cool part. If one likes you, the
- 6:51Speaker 3: other two do not.
- 6:53Speaker 4: Oh really, So you were.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Either bitten during the day, in the evening or at night,
- 6:58Speaker 3: but not all the time. So there's some reprieve in there.
- 7:01Speaker 4: They're not all going to feast on.
- 7:02Speaker 3: You, no, but when they do, they're hung all.
- 7:06Speaker 4: Right, those guys, all right, Jack, This is this is
- 7:10Speaker 4: speaking to Mets fans who may be single at the
- 7:13Speaker 4: moment and hoping to meet someone. The Mets are having
- 7:16Speaker 4: a singles Night. It's coming up on August twenty seventh.
- 7:20Speaker 4: They're hosting the event as a collaboration with an Instagram
- 7:23Speaker 4: dating series called Hot and Social. Attendees of the event
- 7:26Speaker 4: are encouraged to wear wristbands displaying their relationship status. They
- 7:30Speaker 4: will have access to pregame mixers. There will also be
- 7:34Speaker 4: interactive game day experiences providing conversation starters, and the tickets
- 7:38Speaker 4: are reasonable. They range in price from fifty three dollars
- 7:41Speaker 4: to well, you could go all the way up to sixty.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Seven but depending on who you want to meet.

- 8:09Speaker 3: ask Christine. There's been nothing from I mean, I give
- 8:13Speaker 3: her props for keeping the wedding under wraps. Everything's quiet, mean,
- 8:17Speaker 3: but finally something, a little something.
- 8:20Speaker 4: We got a little something from the groom himself.
- 8:24Speaker 3: Travis Kelsey can't keep the grooms quiet.
- 8:26Speaker 4: Yeah. Clabermouth reveiled too too much though Jack. But he
- 8:30Speaker 4: was yes at a press conference yesterday because they're getting
- 8:32Speaker 4: into training camp, and he was asked about the wedding
- 8:36Speaker 4: at Madison Square Garden, saying it was the best night
- 8:38Speaker 4: of his life.
- 8:39Speaker 6: It was a fun off season man. Wedding was the
- 8:41Speaker 6: best night of my life.
- 8:42Speaker 4: And I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and uh,
- 8:45Speaker 4: you know, had fun with us.
- 8:47Speaker 2: So it was. It was a crazy night.
- 8:48Speaker 4: It was.
- 8:48Speaker 6: It was full of a lot of celebration.
- 8:50Speaker 2: But it's football, baby.
- 8:52Speaker 6: It is football, isn't it.
- 8:53Speaker 3: That's all we got.
- 8:54Speaker 6: That's it.
- 8:54Speaker 4: That's it.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Well, I would hope it to be the best night
- 8:57Speaker 3: of my wedding night was the best night of my life.
- 8:59Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, yeah, it should be. There is some
- 9:01Speaker 4: like a little behind the scenes gossip though, that is
- 9:04Speaker 4: sneaking through, and that is that Taylor Swift's cats are
- 9:08Speaker 4: not liking the dog that Travis brought into the equations. Well, yeah,
- 9:13Speaker 4: they're not blending as well, this little blended family. They
- 9:16Speaker 4: have a puppy and the puppy. They said, you know,
- 9:20Speaker 4: full of life and wants to play and run around
- 9:22Speaker 4: and gett Yeah. The cats just want to do their
- 9:25Speaker 4: thing and sit quietly and peacefully. But they're they're working
- 9:28Speaker 4: it out.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Ah.
- 9:29Speaker 6: That's what it is. Compromise in a marriage.
- 9:31Speaker 3: You got to start with the pets.
- 9:33Speaker 5: More Covey and Christine and the great music variety you expect.
- 9:36Speaker 4: Next on light at.
- 9:37Speaker 3: That Good morning six point seven FM, Jack and Christine.
- 9:41Speaker 3: We are celebrating today national International Yes left handed.
- 9:46Speaker 4: Day, Yes International left Hander's Day. Let's hear it for
- 9:49Speaker 4: the lefties. We have one in the room present producer
- 9:52Speaker 4: Kristen but hersband, her husband and her son.
- 9:56Speaker 6: Wow.
- 9:57Speaker 4: And her husband, by the way, is a drummer. He's
- 9:59Speaker 4: a lefty drum that's what Eric is. I use both
- 10:03Speaker 4: hands my Eric, well, but don't bom. So we're surrounded
- 10:09Speaker 4: by by the lefties. Jack and some just some stats.
- 10:13Speaker 6: On but you were left handed.
- 10:14Speaker 3: You're not no righty right here, your penmanship looks left.
- 10:18Speaker 4: I do right like I have you left land.
- 10:20Speaker 6: To the left. I think you're a closet left hand.
- 10:22Speaker 4: There's no really what goes on with me? I'm sorry
- 10:26Speaker 4: about my handwriting but because it is hard to read.
- 10:29Speaker 3: I can read it. I finally can read it. Years
- 10:31Speaker 3: ago I said, ah, I.
- 10:32Speaker 4: Know what you've deciphered. Between ten and twelve percent of
- 10:36Speaker 4: the world's population is left handed. I feel like there's
- 10:38Speaker 4: more than that around me. Left Handed people are usually
- 10:41Speaker 4: more creative, uh there as when it comes to sports,
- 10:46Speaker 4: the lefties have the upper left.
- 10:47Speaker 6: Hand because they're the upper hand.
- 10:50Speaker 4: Yes, the upper hand when it comes to fights, like
- 10:53Speaker 4: if you're a boxer in baseball, also in tennis.
- 10:57Speaker 3: Is that way I always got beat up in school.
- 10:59Speaker 3: I wasn't left handed. If I left handed, I could
- 11:01Speaker 3: have taken the bond left those bullies.
- 11:03Speaker 4: Men are slightly more likely to be left handed than women.
- 11:08Speaker 4: Left Handed people are more prone to allergies and to
- 11:11Speaker 4: vivid dreams. And finally, fifty percent of dogs are left
- 11:17Speaker 4: pod is so cute, are you?
- 11:21Speaker 3: I'm gonna have to watch our doggie see which pod
- 11:24Speaker 3: I'm gonna put out.
- 11:25Speaker 4: You toss a toy and see what they reach with. Yeah.
- 11:28Speaker 5: Yeah, More Covey and Chrissine and the great music variety
- 11:32Speaker 5: you expect next on light F them Well.
- 11:34Speaker 3: Six point seven light FM. Good morning, Jack and Christine.
- 11:37Speaker 4: Time for headlines and good morning jack thank you around
- 11:40Speaker 4: saying the straight of horror moves is closed until the
- 11:43Speaker 4: US accepts all its conditions. President Trump saying the US
- 11:47Speaker 4: has control over the oil shipping lane. Both sides are
- 11:50Speaker 4: calling for reparations from the other side. Meanwhile, gas prices
- 11:54Speaker 4: are higher than they've ever been for this time of year.
- 11:57Speaker 4: Caroline Levitt is stepping down as White House Press Secretary
- 12:01Speaker 4: to spend more time with her family. New York state
- 12:04Speaker 4: officials reacting to plans announced by ICE to start using
- 12:08Speaker 4: electric shock gloves during immigration enforcement, saying they're looking into
- 12:13Speaker 4: this and don't want it to happen in the state
- 12:15Speaker 4: of New York. A winning ticket in Wednesday night, last
- 12:19Speaker 4: night's billion dollar power ball drawing was sold and it
- 12:23Speaker 4: is somewhere in Illinois, so the massive jackpot has a
- 12:26Speaker 4: cash value of more than four hundred and fifty million dollars.
- 12:31Speaker 4: Getting into sports tonight. The Fields of Dream game in Dyersville, Iowa,
- 12:35Speaker 4: between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Minnesota Twins is scheduled
- 12:39Speaker 4: for this evening. After playing Major League Baseball games there
- 12:42Speaker 4: in twenty twenty one and twenty two. Things were put
- 12:45Speaker 4: on hold during construction of the new eight thousand seat stadium.
- 12:48Speaker 4: So as long as the weather holds, that'll be tonight
- 12:51Speaker 4: on Netflix.
- 12:52Speaker 3: Could they walk out of the cornfields?
- 12:53Speaker 4: I hope so. I mean, you know, I know.
- 12:56Speaker 3: Somebody who does adult baseball legs and he has taken
- 12:59Speaker 3: his eyes there a few times. Oh how nice this
- 13:02Speaker 3: is before they he goes it used to be just
- 13:05Speaker 3: this woman in a house and you go, okay, yeah
- 13:08Speaker 3: you can use it. Wow, before it became what it
- 13:11Speaker 3: is now.
- 13:12Speaker 4: Yeah, it's something different. Yeah, Met's lost to the Brave
- 13:14Speaker 4: six y three Yankees beat the Mariners ten to five.
- 13:18Speaker 4: And small indulgences in life, the little things that make
- 13:21Speaker 4: us happy. What are your favorites? Watching your favorite TV
- 13:24Speaker 4: show tops the list, followed by a meal or dessert
- 13:28Speaker 4: at a favorite restaurant, sleeping, light, gardening, and working out.
- 13:34Speaker 6: That's just an indulgence.
- 13:36Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know who they'se about to need.
- 13:38Speaker 6: I have to do that move.
- 13:40Speaker 5: Yes, more Covey and Christine and the great music variety
- 13:45Speaker 5: you expect next on light FM on.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Six point seven Light FM. Good morning, Jack and Christine.
- 13:50Speaker 3: I was online in the bank the other day a
- 13:53Speaker 3: couple of days ago, and yeah, I still go into
- 13:55Speaker 3: the bank and somebody brought up this interesting thing.
- 13:59Speaker 6: How about that heat?
- 14:00Speaker 4: Oh yeah, oh my goodness, everybody.
- 14:03Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, yes, yeah, there's heat.
- 14:06Speaker 4: Do you have this little I have this little conversation
- 14:08Speaker 4: in my head every season, Jack, I think when the
- 14:11Speaker 4: heat's really extreme like it's been, I tell myself, I
- 14:14Speaker 4: think I'd rather just be cold. And then in the
- 14:16Speaker 4: winter when it's really extreme, like I think, I'd rather
- 14:19Speaker 4: just be hot all the time.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Well, I think about the hours. Your hours, Yeah, my
- 14:24Speaker 3: hours right now is when you get up at four
- 14:27Speaker 3: thirty whatever and walk outside.
- 14:29Speaker 6: Which season would you prefer it to be?
- 14:31Speaker 4: Okay, at four thirty in the morning heat, Yes, yes,
- 14:35Speaker 4: because you don't have to worry about cleaning off the car.
- 14:38Speaker 4: But you know, we took it online and we'd love
- 14:41Speaker 4: to get your opinion four or three sixty three. You
- 14:43Speaker 4: can always text us would you rather live in a
- 14:46Speaker 4: hot climate or a cold And there's one person who said,
- 14:50Speaker 4: I would like to live where it is fall all
- 14:52Speaker 4: the time. But I've yet to find that.
- 14:55Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't know where that would be.
- 14:57Speaker 4: I don't know that would have hurl the somebody said
- 15:01Speaker 4: I live in Chicago. I'm pretty irritable all of January
- 15:04Speaker 4: and February. It goes both ways, because some people are
- 15:07Speaker 4: saying they get really moody and irritable in the extreme heats.
- 15:12Speaker 4: I can always add another layer to.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Warm up, grandmother, yep.
- 15:16Speaker 4: But in the heat, I can't cool down. You don't
- 15:18Speaker 4: want to have to call the cops.
- 15:20Speaker 3: Grandmother said, you can always been on a sweater, but
- 15:22Speaker 3: in the summer you can only take so much off exactly.
- 15:25Speaker 4: I think I've heard that quite a bit myself. Yeah,
- 15:28Speaker 4: you can always warm up in the winter, but there's
- 15:30Speaker 4: still ice on the road, snowstorms knocking out power, events
