- 0:37Welcome back to the place where we think differently daily.
- 0:39What's going on? Different thinkers, man.
- 0:41It's good to see you all here again, Lovely, lovely people.

- 0:46Life Hacks PDF book at autismhacks.net.
- 0:50Yeah, you won't regret it. OK, guys.
- 0:52So I wanted to do this video talking about it because so a
- 0:54lot of people think that people on the autism spectrum all think
- 0:57the same because the condition is the same, you know?
- 0:59But it's not like that. OK, for a start, let's just dial
- 1:02it back. It's called an autism spectrum
- 1:04disorder, and the word spectrum means that it comes from one end
- 1:06to another end, and it has a full spectrum of different
- 1:09people in between. There's this old saying that
- 1:10says that if you met one autistic person, then you've
- 1:13only ever met one autistic person because every individual
- 1:16autistic person is individual of each other and have different
- 1:20individual kind of personalities, traits, thoughts
- 1:22and processes and all that. So that kind of wraps that
- 1:24question up in a in a nutshell. But what does this mean?
- 1:26It basically means that some people have higher support needs
- 1:29than other people have lower support needs.
- 1:31And that means that we think differently because we're all
- 1:33going to think differently. Just because you are neuro
- 1:35divergent and your brain operates a little bit
- 1:37differently, it doesn't mean you think the same.
- 1:39So we may operate, you know, autism autistic operate the same
- 1:43because of the way that their brain is wired, but their
- 1:46thoughts are independent to them.
- 1:48How they think is all independent, you know, we all
- 1:51think differently. That's what we're doing.
- 1:53This is exactly my slogan. We're thinking differently
- 1:55daily. Everybody here is thinking
- 1:56differently. But that was a study done to see
- 1:59if autistic people's choices were made the same.
- 2:03Like do they think the same with their choices made the same.
- 2:05So it was a study done and it studied that the brain activity
- 2:09in people on every kind of area of the spectrum to see what kind
- 2:14of brain activity they had. Now the people on different
- 2:17areas of the spectrum had different brain activity when
- 2:21they were making decisions and choices, which means that some
- 2:23people making decisions on choices of logics and others
- 2:26were making off personal choices.
- 2:27But most of the time, the autistic people were actually
- 2:33making independent choices from just thinking about their
- 2:36personal experiences. So it was nothing to do with the
- 2:39way that their brain worked. It was to do with how they live
- 2:41their life and what their morals and kind of personality were,
- 2:44which absolutely fascinates me. It fascinates me so much that I
- 2:47wanted to do this video talking about it because it's such an
- 2:49interesting discussion. Have you heard this before?
- 2:51Have you heard that people think that autistic people think the
- 2:53same and it's just interesting. It's kind of like saying, well,
- 2:56you know, do do, I don't know, do all British people think the
- 2:59same? Well, no.
- 3:01You know, just because of British, we're all going to
- 3:03think the same. And you know, awesome is a
- 3:05neurological condition, but neurological conditions don't
- 3:08impact your ability to think a certain thought, to make you
- 3:11think the same thoughts, which is quite an interesting kind of
- 3:13bizarre concept that people may have dreamt up for some bizarre
- 3:17reason. But I just thought, it's a
- 3:18really fun video to me because like, you know, it's it's such a
- 3:21weird one. I just, I don't know, I just
- 3:23think it's really funny. And to answer the question, do
- 3:25also see people think the same? No they do not.
- 3:27They're all independent and we're all different thinkers, so
- 3:31definitely give this video a thumbs up if you enjoyed it.
- 3:34But if you think it's fun, please share it on Facebook,
- 3:36Twitter and Instagram. And guys, I'll see you next
- 3:38time. Peace.
