- 0:00Speaker 1: So I was waiting for the hit there Carl Tony
- 0:02Speaker 1: Katz the Morning News ninety three WIVC. My name is
- 0:06Speaker 1: Craig Collins, filling in on very short notice and thrilled
- 0:09Speaker 1: to be here to do it. I have a comment
- 0:11Speaker 1: about that, and I have a question. I got to
- 0:12Speaker 1: ask Matt Bhaer, but that's in a second. First, I
- 0:15Speaker 1: got to do the Boer Home remodeling a popcorn moment.
- 0:18Speaker 1: This is a popcorn moment brought to you by Boer
- 0:20Speaker 1: Home Remodeling. There have been so many discussions about Jim
- 0:26Speaker 1: Crow two point zero, but this has to be my favorite.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Is when you ask a Senator Peter Welch why it's
- 0:32Speaker 1: Jim Crow two point zero and he has no answer
- 0:34Speaker 1: to that part.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Chuck Schambers calling the Save Act Jim Crow two point oh?
- 0:38Speaker 3: Do you agree with that?
- 0:39Speaker 2: Do you think requiring an ID to vote in elections
- 0:41Speaker 2: is you know Jim Crow?
- 0:43Speaker 4: I think this is about voter suppression the boy I
- 0:46Speaker 4: was talking about in the election, So it's all part
- 0:49Speaker 4: of the effort to make it as hard as possible,
- 0:51Speaker 4: rather than as easy as possible for people to vote.
- 0:55Speaker 2: But does that imply that you know black voters specifically
- 0:58Speaker 2: don't have an ID. Most of them say that they
- 1:01Speaker 2: have one, and I think it's like some seventy percent
- 1:03Speaker 2: of them are in favor of vote already for elections.
- 1:06Speaker 4: I don't think it's about what your race is. I
- 1:09Speaker 4: think that we should make a voting safe and easy
- 1:13Speaker 4: and do everything we can to encourage every legal voter
- 1:18Speaker 4: to do that.
- 1:19Speaker 3: And then he just walked away from microphone. I love that.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Do you think this is Jim Crow two point zero?
- 1:23Speaker 3: I do? I agree, it's definitely Jim Crow two point zero.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Well, what do you mean because black people say they
- 1:29Speaker 1: can get a driver's license is easy to anybody else?
- 1:31Speaker 3: How is this Jim Crow two point zero? I don't
- 1:33Speaker 3: think it's about race?
- 1:35Speaker 1: Is my favorite second answer to a back and forth there,
- 1:38Speaker 1: because they just don't care. Democrats will do anything, say anything,
- 1:42Speaker 1: it doesn't matter, And in this case, I want to
- 1:45Speaker 1: say it's racist, and if you call me on it,
- 1:47Speaker 1: I'm going to pretend as though I didn't just say that,
- 1:50Speaker 1: and that still counts, right, I still get points, you
- 1:52Speaker 1: still get to go pass, go collect your two hundred dollars.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Probably not, but that was my favorite. A bit outside
- 2:00Speaker 1: maybe what a lot of people have seen in media
- 2:02Speaker 1: today because it was an internet thing, but just so funny.
- 2:05Speaker 3: All right, I'm at bear.
- 2:07Speaker 1: I just got asked to jump into the show, as
- 2:09Speaker 1: Matt obviously knows, as everybody knows. And I'm thrilled and
- 2:12Speaker 1: I'm flattered that Tony Katz that Carl would think of me.
- 2:16Speaker 3: However, I don't know if there's the right way to
- 2:18Speaker 3: say it.
- 2:19Speaker 1: As he was leaving Tony, who's not feeling well, he's
- 2:22Speaker 1: got a case of aaryngitis, he said, and I quote
- 2:26Speaker 1: nobody better on short notice than Craig Collins, which to
- 2:30Speaker 1: me kind of feels like nobody faster than like, you know,
- 2:34Speaker 1: this fast midget kind of thing, version of a thing.
- 2:38Speaker 1: I'm not saying he meant it that way, and I'm
- 2:41Speaker 1: doing what my wife always does to me. You get
- 2:43Speaker 1: a compliment and you immediately ruin the compliment in your
- 2:46Speaker 1: own brain. But some about that was like I'm the
- 2:49Speaker 1: tallest of the short people. When he said that I'm
- 2:51Speaker 1: the best on short notice, what do you think of that?
- 2:55Speaker 5: I'm pretty sure he meant it that way. I'm not
- 2:59Speaker 5: gonna Tony Kats. I can tell you that I'll just
- 3:02Speaker 5: work with the guy, but you know, I'm pretty sure
- 3:04Speaker 5: he not to insult you, me and Carl with that.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Well, I think just me, I thought it was no, No,
- 3:10Speaker 3: I'm kidding.
- 3:11Speaker 5: Well, hey, all for one, one for all, you know,
- 3:14Speaker 5: I mean seriously, no, listen, it's you came in on.
- 3:18Speaker 5: He's very appreciative. I'm sure I've not spoken to him about.
- 3:22Speaker 3: It, of course. Yeah, no, no, no, I love I love that.
- 3:24Speaker 3: My brain did that.
- 3:25Speaker 1: My brain did the thing that my wife always does
- 3:27Speaker 1: that always gets me in trouble. I'll say something like,
- 3:29Speaker 1: oh my god, your hair looks great today, and the
- 3:31Speaker 1: misses will be like, it didn't look good yesterday.
- 3:33Speaker 3: What was I doing different?
- 3:34Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, wow, you look great in that new dress.
- 3:37Speaker 5: He looks so skinny.
- 3:40Speaker 3: All my other clothes are terrible.
- 3:41Speaker 5: Yes, I look fat? Yeah, exactly, That's exactly what I
- 3:44Speaker 5: was saying, right, No, that's where my.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Brain went though. It was funny.
- 3:47Speaker 1: He's like, nobody's better on extremely short notice where we
- 3:50Speaker 1: had to wake him up out of bed and ask
- 3:51Speaker 1: him to be on the air in seven minutes, and
- 3:54Speaker 1: this guy right here, it's.
- 3:55Speaker 5: A very very human thing to not be able to
- 3:58Speaker 5: take a compliment as a matter of fact.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Yet no way, but you can so.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Actually, you're right, that is something we have in common.
- 4:05Speaker 1: You are terrible at taking a compliment, and I sorry, Yeah,
- 4:11Speaker 1: that's that's funny that that's an insult that you're terrible
- 4:13Speaker 1: at taking a compliment. But it's true of Matt bhar
- 4:15Speaker 1: anytime I tell him he's talented, he's great at stuff.
- 4:19Speaker 1: I feel like you're about to throw yourself off a cliff, like, no,
- 4:22Speaker 1: don't say that.
- 4:23Speaker 5: Because I know you're only saying that because you want
- 4:26Speaker 5: somebody to talk to in the morning. That's that's what.
- 4:29Speaker 3: That's all there. Well, dude, this is this is so funny.
- 4:32Speaker 1: I was asleep twenty five minutes ago and now I'm
- 4:35Speaker 1: awaking on the radio.
- 4:36Speaker 5: This is really great, all right, fantastic.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Yeah, a bunch of honey got recalled because it's loaded
- 4:41Speaker 1: with sialis. This is a real story that was out
- 4:44Speaker 1: there in the world. Did you guys see this already?
- 4:46Speaker 1: Did you talk about this already or.
- 4:47Speaker 3: No, Carl's up, No, we have not talked about it. Okay,
- 4:52Speaker 3: all right.
- 4:53Speaker 1: As soon as he said yeah, I thought maybe this
- 4:54Speaker 1: was somehow a big part of the beginning of the show.
- 4:57Speaker 1: While I was asleep a bunch of honey was recalled
- 5:00Speaker 1: by the FDA because they found erectile dysfunction pills inside it.
- 5:05Speaker 3: This was in Virginia.
- 5:06Speaker 5: Whoa, it's not cool.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Correct.
- 5:10Speaker 1: The company is called Arco, and they don't know how
- 5:13Speaker 1: this happened. That's my favorite part of it is they're like,
- 5:15Speaker 1: we don't really understand how our honey thing and then
- 5:20Speaker 1: our cialis machine got together. I don't think anybody that's
- 5:25Speaker 1: had this recalled has returned it yet, that's my assumption.
- 5:28Speaker 3: I feel like some people might keep this thing.
- 5:30Speaker 1: But yes, dangerous amounts of erectile dysfunction pills inside your
- 5:34Speaker 1: honey in Virginia.
- 5:35Speaker 5: Okay, so I as I understand, I could go buy honey. Yeah, yeah,
- 5:39Speaker 5: I can go buy honey over in Virginia and get
- 5:42Speaker 5: Seaallis at the same time, like the Seattle's in there. Okay,
- 5:45Speaker 5: So all right, it's you have to do the math
- 5:48Speaker 5: to figure out whether or none of I'm going to
- 5:49Speaker 5: cancel my subscription right now, but I think I'm going
- 5:54Speaker 5: to go to stick with the USPS here for the moment.
- 5:57Speaker 5: But I won't go into detail, please do no no,
- 6:02Speaker 5: no, no no no, don't want to go into detail. But
- 6:04Speaker 5: I know what c else. It's all about the official
- 6:08Speaker 5: brand and the generic brand, and you have to be
- 6:10Speaker 5: careful with that stuff, especially if you're combining it with
- 6:14Speaker 5: all the sugar that's in honey. You could and must,
- 6:18Speaker 5: you really should can bust in front of everybody.
- 6:20Speaker 3: It's like a vodka red Bull. It's too much up
- 6:22Speaker 3: and down together.
- 6:23Speaker 5: What you're saying, bizar drink.
- 6:27Speaker 3: It is a bizarre drink.
- 6:28Speaker 1: By the way, I do love the fact that this
- 6:30Speaker 1: honey is energy support honey what it's called, because you
- 6:34Speaker 1: definitely get some energy support in this situation. The other
- 6:38Speaker 1: thing I kept thinking of this is this is another one.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Is it any of these grocery stores. If there's a
- 6:42Speaker 1: guy like Matt somewhere that he tries to take it
- 6:45Speaker 1: all home, Like the minute they find out it's a recall,
- 6:47Speaker 1: one dude volunteers like, I'll take it. I'll get it
- 6:49Speaker 1: all back to where it needs to go. Everybody else
- 6:52Speaker 1: ignore it. Give me all that honey and put it
- 6:54Speaker 1: in my car.
- 6:55Speaker 5: This is for my pet Bear. I'm just oh wow,
- 7:01Speaker 5: that's gonna be.
- 7:02Speaker 3: That is a terrifying follow up movie.
- 7:05Speaker 5: The you know be Cocaine Cocaine.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Bear see Alice Bear sounds horrible that this world we
- 7:12Speaker 1: just this is what we get. You asked Craig to
- 7:14Speaker 1: jump in, and now I'm on the radio and now
- 7:16Speaker 1: we're saying awful things. I apologize to Tony Kats. I'm
- 7:19Speaker 1: just gonna put that out there multiple times throughout the show.
- 7:22Speaker 5: I was going to say, car, we're staying late so
- 7:24Speaker 5: we can write the screenpay to us see Alice Bear.
- 7:27Speaker 5: If we're going to work on that today. Oh my gosh,
- 7:29Speaker 5: that's a great idea.
- 7:30Speaker 1: You know, I gotta be honest, I would be more
- 7:32Speaker 1: terrified to see Alice Bear than Cocaine. Like, if I
- 7:35Speaker 1: had to pick a bear to be attacked by, it
- 7:37Speaker 1: would be Cocaine Bear ten out of ten times.
- 7:39Speaker 5: Well, you don't want to bear sexually frustrated.
- 7:43Speaker 3: That's that's what I was thinking.
- 7:45Speaker 5: Things could go wrong, I mean normally, I mean, Cocaine
- 7:47Speaker 5: Bear is just going to eat you, all right?
- 7:50Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, we can stop there, all right. And so
- 7:56Speaker 3: I'm here for the next few minutes. I'm probably gonna
- 7:58Speaker 3: get fired and replaced during the show. Now, how funny
- 8:01Speaker 3: would that be? They got to go to the bullpen
- 8:02Speaker 3: a second time. Popcorn moment, Thank you buddy, Yeah, it
- 8:06Speaker 3: was great.
