- 0:46Speaker 6: You're listening to the Sports Shock Show. I'm the Sports
- 0:49Speaker 6: Shock Wayne Candy. Good morning to you out there and
- 0:53Speaker 6: listening land. Menus are being set, pads are being placed,
- 0:59Speaker 6: inkers and training camp has run around for the NFL.
- 1:05Speaker 6: In the next five six seven days, all of you
- 1:08Speaker 6: will have the pleasure of welcoming your twenty twenty sixth
- 1:13Speaker 6: edition of your favorite team. As you know, we're represented
- 1:19Speaker 6: here diversely. We live in Atlanta, but most of these
- 1:26Speaker 6: guys are out of town fans out They don't really
- 1:32Speaker 6: mess with the city and the franchises. They've been here
- 1:40Speaker 6: since nineteen eighty seven, but they are still the place
- 1:44Speaker 6: they were born them five days they was there to
- 1:47Speaker 6: get out of the hospital. They still are repping those cities.
- 1:54Speaker 7: Why.
- 1:54Speaker 3: I have no clue.
- 1:55Speaker 6: Because they're not winning anymore than the city team. You
- 2:00Speaker 6: think they would have moved on. But the desperation of
- 2:04Speaker 6: the cowboy fan, the delusion as I continue, of the
- 2:09Speaker 6: jet fan transfer portal, and the pure pessimistic Falcon fans
- 2:15Speaker 6: who literally can only find one thing right for every
- 2:20Speaker 6: nine thing wrong. They wonder why their team Because you
- 2:23Speaker 6: don't really have faith, Falcon fans. You don't have faith.
- 2:30Speaker 6: The collective doesn't have faith. You're sitting there waiting on
- 2:35Speaker 6: it not to happen. That's what you like to talk about.
- 2:38Speaker 6: What didn't happen again, even in wins. The Falcon fan
- 2:49Speaker 6: is pessimistic. But training camp is here. We're ready to
- 2:54Speaker 6: go to The guys here are upset. This morning they
- 2:57Speaker 6: were talking about theme parties. I got a little ill
- 3:00Speaker 6: hustling going on right there. The bad producer is tired
- 3:04Speaker 6: of theme parties. Big Kenny seems like he has a
- 3:07Speaker 6: little venom towards theme parties as well. Command you Greg
- 3:12Speaker 6: stay neutral because he likes his night job, so you
- 3:15Speaker 6: know he likes to He didn't want the theme party
- 3:18Speaker 6: people to stop calling him. But these guys are not
- 3:22Speaker 6: with the theme parties and guys I heard you speaking
- 3:28Speaker 6: the one thing I would allude to because you guys
- 3:33Speaker 6: seem to want a different color than white and black. See,
- 3:36Speaker 6: if I get off of white and black color theme parties,
- 3:43Speaker 6: then you have a higher percentage of people who will
- 3:49Speaker 6: tell you they don't have that color and they were
- 3:54Speaker 6: not going to spend any money. See, I can.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Guarantee you everybody has.
- 4:02Speaker 6: A black shirt and a white shirt, but they might
- 4:07Speaker 6: not when you start going through, as you said, the
- 4:09Speaker 6: box of cram, and that will be their excuse.
- 4:14Speaker 3: I'm not about to go spend money on a red.
- 4:22Speaker 6: Oh I don't want to go spend money on a purple.
- 4:24Speaker 6: I don't have that, but I do have white, and
- 4:30Speaker 6: I do have black. You've even seen they had a
- 4:35Speaker 6: store and they it still might be around called the
- 4:37Speaker 6: White and Black Store where all they sold was white
- 4:41Speaker 6: and black clothing. Designer high end clothing, because those are
- 4:46Speaker 6: the two things that the majority of people, if not
- 4:52Speaker 6: all people have in their closet. Makes sense, That makes
- 5:00Speaker 6: sense on board on there, So good morning.
- 5:04Speaker 8: I mentioned that in our conversation and the most the
- 5:07Speaker 8: most common colors that people will will have to venture
- 5:13Speaker 8: out into other colors. That those seem two. It was like,
- 5:19Speaker 8: it's not reflective of my personality though someone almost have
- 5:22Speaker 8: like some kind of excuse like that that they won't
- 5:25Speaker 8: buy those others.
- 5:26Speaker 3: And that's why I came.
- 5:28Speaker 6: And the non color that you said, because I don't
- 5:31Speaker 6: have that, and you don't have any right to ask
- 5:33Speaker 6: me to go necessarily spend money right right now, name
- 5:37Speaker 6: a color if in your closet, you know you don't.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Have probably green, green. I don't have a purple. So
- 5:51Speaker 3: if you said a purple, I don't have a yellow,
- 5:55Speaker 3: so I can't yellow anything.
- 5:59Speaker 6: I don't even have a yellow pair of pants, So
- 6:02Speaker 6: where would I get those? And that's all people are
- 6:06Speaker 6: looking for? What do you have a colored? Bad producer.
- 6:09Speaker 3: I was just thinking pink probably the only color I
- 6:11Speaker 3: don't have. But I got colors.
- 6:14Speaker 5: I'm from Chicago. I got all colored.
- 6:16Speaker 3: I thought that was Detroit. That well, they got midweight
- 6:19Speaker 3: all the time. Midwest. It's a Midwest.
- 6:21Speaker 5: No.
- 6:21Speaker 3: I think the first migration was the Detroit.
- 6:24Speaker 6: H may think Chicago has just flipped it on them,
- 6:27Speaker 6: but I thought the first migration was.
- 6:29Speaker 5: Was it's a Midwest thing that we do colors, that
- 6:35Speaker 5: we do bright colors and when we were talking earlier,
- 6:38Speaker 5: I did mention that a lot of promoters who do
- 6:41Speaker 5: things like theme parties, uh, don't branch out because it's
- 6:45Speaker 5: hard for people to digest that. Like I said, they've
- 6:47Speaker 5: been sitting on I'm going to a white party all summer,
- 6:51Speaker 5: and then you give them, let's do red. And maybe
- 6:53Speaker 5: it's because they don't want to go out and buy
- 6:55Speaker 5: the clothes, but I do. No. I thought we were
- 6:57Speaker 5: going to do white, and people just have fixated that
- 7:01Speaker 5: those are the only really two legitimate theme parties.
- 7:05Speaker 6: No, I don't, And that's what I'm saying. I don't
- 7:07Speaker 6: think it's a fixation. I think that it's the easiest.
- 7:13Speaker 6: It's the easiest thing to do. Yeah, and typically we
- 7:19Speaker 6: are of the flesh, we will go the easiest. Why
- 7:25Speaker 6: don't you like theme parties? Have you ever had one
- 7:27Speaker 6: for yourself? Before we move on Baptus?
- 7:30Speaker 3: Yeah, with my organizations, we have had them. But I just,
- 7:34Speaker 3: you know, I don't know.
- 7:35Speaker 7: It's just weird to me, I guess because just and
- 7:40Speaker 7: I understand a little bit what I understand. I have
- 7:43Speaker 7: to agree with you. Yeah, black and white is but
- 7:46Speaker 7: to me, white is hard. I don't want to get
- 7:48Speaker 7: white I don't want to wear white. I don't like
- 7:49Speaker 7: to get dirty. I mean, and you are a guy
- 7:52Speaker 7: that would get dirty. Can I get a raise of
- 7:56Speaker 7: hands that get dirty? Who were getting there white dirty?
- 7:59Speaker 3: First?
- 8:00Speaker 5: The imagine, right, I'm talking about on the way walking
- 8:04Speaker 5: to the car to y Yeah, sitting on his front seat.
- 8:09Speaker 5: Yeah right, yeah, I'm so the white is out for me.
- 8:12Speaker 5: I really like.
- 8:14Speaker 3: So I can hide the dirt a little bit better.
- 8:18Speaker 6: Well, white parties are nice, especially if you look out
- 8:21Speaker 6: at it and you see two hundred people in white.
- 8:24Speaker 5: It does have a kind of spirit to it. Yeah,
- 8:27Speaker 5: like they're pure. No, I don't think that. Did you
- 8:35Speaker 5: think that was what it was? Because I've been in
- 8:38Speaker 5: some white parties with some gooms and freaks. I'm talking
- 8:41Speaker 5: about just you know, uh, it's the the worst of
- 8:45Speaker 5: the worst. But they all in white and it still looks.
- 8:49Speaker 5: It still look good. But you got to tell you
- 8:51Speaker 5: watch Kisha. I didn't think white wrapping up and now
- 8:54Speaker 5: watch Keisha. She's still Keisha now. But she just looked
- 8:59Speaker 5: really nice and and everything is cool today. Have you
- 9:03Speaker 5: ever wanted to have a theme party that you haven't had?
- 9:05Speaker 5: If you had one commanche, what would it be what
- 9:07Speaker 5: would you like to have?
- 9:11Speaker 8: I know the last theme party, and cause we had
- 9:14Speaker 8: a rat Pack party, it was very loose with the
- 9:20Speaker 8: we were dressed really that formal.
- 9:23Speaker 3: So I don't know.
- 9:27Speaker 8: I mean, I mean, I like like costume parties, like
- 9:30Speaker 8: Halloween parties, so probably some theme with a with a costume.
- 9:33Speaker 6: Or well, no, you got to be SUSPICI uh specific,
- 9:38Speaker 6: you're giving me these broad if it's a costume, what costume,
- 9:43Speaker 6: what's the theme of it?
- 9:46Speaker 8: Well, I would want to like because I saw this
- 9:48Speaker 8: to the movie where everyone had a it was a
- 9:51Speaker 8: Robert de Niro party, so you dressed as your favorite
- 9:53Speaker 8: Robert de Niro character. So I would want a party
- 9:56Speaker 8: like that. We'd dressed like your favorite Denzel Washington character,
- 10:00Speaker 8: or your favorite uh, your favorite Matthew mcconiughead character.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Or something like that. Okay, Big Kenny.
- 10:09Speaker 5: A were wolf party where people come dressed in different
- 10:12Speaker 5: stages of morphing into a werewolf. You can come from
- 10:15Speaker 5: full werewolf to just got my snout to the fingers.
- 10:19Speaker 3: You know that that kind of Okay, I don't know.
- 10:24Speaker 3: I just gave you some time. What kind of party?
- 10:28Speaker 3: I guess specific, don't don't give me a generalization like
- 10:37Speaker 3: I guess now, I like Halloween, so I take a
- 10:40Speaker 3: Halloween party. Okay, Halloween party me.
- 10:43Speaker 5: I would probably I would start off with the old toga,
- 10:47Speaker 5: take the old to go back.
- 10:54Speaker 3: And just have you there in a toga.
- 10:56Speaker 5: Uh unlike well a lot like command you, Greg I.
- 11:00Speaker 5: My theme party experience was in college. So we did
- 11:04Speaker 5: the Bamboo Safari party where we decorated the dorm with
- 11:11Speaker 5: live bamboo and stuff like that. We did plenty of
- 11:14Speaker 5: toga parties. We had costume parties, and so I was
- 11:18Speaker 5: thinking of something that I hadn't done before and just
- 11:21Speaker 5: everyone in a specific costume as one character, something I
- 11:25Speaker 5: had never done.
- 11:26Speaker 3: But outside of that, great went parties.
- 11:30Speaker 4: The parties.
- 11:33Speaker 6: Have to do something so you don't like them anymore.
- 11:35Speaker 6: We have a great show for you. We're gonna talk
- 11:37Speaker 6: a little Ryan Clark w n B a Monday Morning
- 11:43Speaker 6: quarterbags as the NFL and college and high school season

- 15:04Speaker 6: shock Wayne Dandy.
- 15:06Speaker 3: Good morning to you out.
- 15:08Speaker 6: There and listening land theme parties all around, Werewolf parties
- 15:16Speaker 6: costumes for Halloween commandchie Greg wants to do famous person
- 15:25Speaker 6: famous people, taking a famous person and having everybody dress up.
- 15:31Speaker 6: As you know, we've I've seen that in done with
- 15:34Speaker 6: somebody like Prince or Michael Jackson. I haven't really necessarily
- 15:39Speaker 6: saw it as just an actor like a roper de Narrow,
- 15:42Speaker 6: but I got completely what you're you're saying, Uh, one
- 15:46Speaker 6: of those kind of parties.
- 15:47Speaker 7: I want nobody to get in trouble, though, if he
- 15:50Speaker 7: has a Denzel party and they dress fully like Denzel.
- 15:54Speaker 3: Now don't want the first theme party I think I
- 15:57Speaker 3: ever heard of. I don't know, but.
- 16:01Speaker 5: Well, I mean, if you know, if our friends that
- 16:06Speaker 5: from an other if they want to try about black
- 16:08Speaker 5: face or what, Yeah.
- 16:09Speaker 3: That's what. Yeah, I'm saying, nobody can't get in trouble.
- 16:11Speaker 5: That's what I'm saying that that's not required. Well, how
- 16:15Speaker 5: I'm gonna do Denzel or you Robert de Narrow.
- 16:18Speaker 8: Then well, apparently you haven't seen enough of their movies
- 16:22Speaker 8: too to understand what they may have been dressed in.
- 16:26Speaker 8: And now again, because I thought there was something about
- 16:29Speaker 8: the dress had I'm talking about their their movie character.
- 16:33Speaker 6: I don't think you have to actually be You can
- 16:37Speaker 6: be wonder woman if you're a black woman, you go
- 16:41Speaker 6: get the wonder woman costumes and I look over at
- 16:44Speaker 6: you and think, oh, you came as wonder Woman. And
- 16:46Speaker 6: I didn't come over there like, oh you didn't put
- 16:49Speaker 6: some white cream on. I get what you came as.
- 16:53Speaker 6: It doesn't really matter, which just trying to open your
- 16:59Speaker 6: mind to understand that.
- 17:00Speaker 3: All right.
- 17:01Speaker 5: I've heard of parties like the movie parties of friend
- 17:05Speaker 5: through a risky business party, the.
- 17:07Speaker 6: White guy that wears the Kobe Bryant I get it.
- 17:11Speaker 6: And you came as Kobe Bryant let uniform on. You
- 17:14Speaker 6: got a little wrist band. I don't need you to be.
- 17:17Speaker 6: And I didn't look over there and think you was
- 17:20Speaker 6: uh Luca. Now because you also have on a jersey that.
- 17:27Speaker 5: You also have on a jersey that says Briann yours, sir, man,
- 17:33Speaker 5: I keep from mind he came with you. He came
- 17:37Speaker 5: here with you. Every time we go who's your plus one?
- 17:39Speaker 5: This the dude you bring? And you keep asking like
- 17:42Speaker 5: whose man is this? I'm sure you keep wondering, like
- 17:45Speaker 5: I let this happen. But yeah, okay, yo, he throws
- 17:51Speaker 5: you off. Where we were talking about theme parties, and
- 17:55Speaker 5: I was talking about the risky business party where friends
- 17:58Speaker 5: through a theme party. You didn't necessarily have to dress
- 18:02Speaker 5: like a character from the movie. You just had to
- 18:04Speaker 5: do an iconic line from the movie to get in
- 18:08Speaker 5: the party, so that that was part of the theme.
- 18:13Speaker 5: You could also you could dress like a character or
- 18:15Speaker 5: you could have a line from the movie to get in.
- 18:18Speaker 5: And if I put on a Batman costume, you gotta
- 18:23Speaker 5: put white makeup on your faith batmantman and we'd all
- 18:29Speaker 5: get it, like, look to do it with the cake
- 18:31Speaker 5: and the bat signal on his chest has gotta be doing.
- 18:36Speaker 5: I'm guessing he's not black lightning. I wouldn't gone. I
- 18:40Speaker 5: might think the brown hornet. I can't be in the
- 18:42Speaker 5: Batman costume? Yeah, how can I be.
- 18:48Speaker 3: Logo? We're not thinking brown hornet? You know what I'm saying.
- 18:53Speaker 5: Visual costume parties are visual.
- 18:58Speaker 3: You're reaching bath Doucer. That's that's all we were trying
- 19:01Speaker 3: to say.
- 19:02Speaker 5: And maybe that's why you don't like theme parties because
- 19:05Speaker 5: you don't remember stand them. You confused about the process.
- 19:10Speaker 5: We're trying to help you enjoy the party. Interesting stat guys,
- 19:15Speaker 5: I wanted to start. I saw it this morning as
- 19:17Speaker 5: getting ready for the show. The WNBA All Star Game
- 19:21Speaker 5: is this weekend.
- 19:22Speaker 6: Last night was the last of the games until Sunday
- 19:26Speaker 6: with the All Star Game, and this weekend WNBA All
- 19:29Speaker 6: Star I think it's in Chicago. But I wanted to
- 19:33Speaker 6: ask you guys once that were always talking about Ajuries
- 19:36Speaker 6: and Caitlyn Clark, but there was one thing they were
- 19:39Speaker 6: showing this morning that in the three years that they've
- 19:43Speaker 6: been in the league, the amount of technical files that
- 19:47Speaker 6: both of them have received. What do you think that
- 19:51Speaker 6: is driven from? They said, ain't In the three years,
- 19:55Speaker 6: Angel Reesa has had nineteen technical files and like nine
- 20:00Speaker 6: the games, and Caitland Clark has had fifteen technical files
- 20:06Speaker 6: in about like eighty games, because you know they count
- 20:10Speaker 6: of the games people missed. But that's kind of you know,
- 20:16Speaker 6: what does that fit. They've led the league in technical
- 20:22Speaker 6: in their three years. They are protected species maybe and
- 20:30Speaker 6: they don't like having to deal with you know what
- 20:34Speaker 6: you mean? What you mean no foul?
- 20:36Speaker 3: Ralph?
- 20:37Speaker 13: No?
- 20:38Speaker 1: You see them on me?
- 20:39Speaker 5: You hey, hey, do your job, dude.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Okay, commands Greg?
- 20:46Speaker 5: What is this?
- 20:47Speaker 3: Why is that these two correlating in that way? At
- 20:56Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 20:56Speaker 8: I think they're they're they're trying to there towards a
- 20:59Speaker 8: come off as them showing, you know, passion for the game,
- 21:03Speaker 8: that they really care and but they end up saying
- 21:08Speaker 8: some things that are that are worth getting technical.
- 21:12Speaker 3: What do you mean with getting the technical foul?
- 21:14Speaker 5: You just said, I'm passionate about the game, Boomo, passionate?
- 21:19Speaker 3: Job?
- 21:20Speaker 11: You just call me?
- 21:21Speaker 5: You heard I said what I said?
- 21:26Speaker 9: There you go?
- 21:27Speaker 3: You what would you say? Why? Why? Why is that
- 21:30Speaker 3: stat like that for these two people.
- 21:33Speaker 7: I'm not for sure, but I mean, they wouldn't give
- 21:36Speaker 7: them technicals away that conveniently in a w n b
- 21:39Speaker 7: A in the last three years they have been.
- 21:42Speaker 3: But maybe it's the intensity of with the with the
- 21:48Speaker 3: scrutiny of the media.
- 21:49Speaker 7: And everybody just throwing a high alert and the refereence
- 21:52Speaker 7: the technical fouls is a tool that they tell teach
- 21:56Speaker 7: us to use to try to keep the game in
- 21:58Speaker 7: control and don't let it get out of control. So
- 22:00Speaker 7: a lot of times it's not used as a defense
- 22:03Speaker 7: to uh make you look bad or or it's used
- 22:07Speaker 7: to help.
- 22:07Speaker 6: But why do you why do you think? Why do
- 22:10Speaker 6: you think these two have this amount in their first
- 22:15Speaker 6: three years? But that's what I'm what about these two
- 22:18Speaker 6: make them that way, and that's what It's a tool
- 22:22Speaker 6: that you're supposed to use, but I'm not. Are you
- 22:24Speaker 6: saying I'm out of control?
- 22:26Speaker 3: What you're saying?
- 22:26Speaker 1: You say it's a tool of control?
- 22:28Speaker 3: You calling me out of control?
- 22:30Speaker 2: Job.

- 25:44Speaker 5: know y'all used to do that job. Don't act like y'all.
- 25:47Speaker 5: Don't be like that that y'all got. Y'all own the
- 25:51Speaker 5: protected species list, But don't be like that. Command y'all Usually.
- 25:56Speaker 3: When y'all had it, y'all had it on.
- 25:58Speaker 4: Don't be all new.
- 26:01Speaker 3: Try or no y'all begetting like that like y'all wasn't moving.
- 26:05Speaker 6: It's just a typical showing this. R. Kelly come on
- 26:08Speaker 6: in the car and you by yourself. You turn it down, No,
- 26:10Speaker 6: you don't, you turn it up?
- 26:13Speaker 5: Alma, alma. Now you think when you make something you
- 26:17Speaker 5: got myself, I'd be in the car ride with my past. Hey,
- 26:21Speaker 5: rem Jones, cut that kills up if you will, I'm
- 26:25Speaker 5: saying now we out of Jones. Cut that kills up
- 26:27Speaker 5: from brother Johnson. Is that that R Kelly?
- 26:31Speaker 4: Kids, Yes it is, and he'd be like, that's my
- 26:34Speaker 4: guy right there.
- 26:36Speaker 17: Hed.
- 26:36Speaker 5: I go to a progressive church though, you see what
- 26:38Speaker 5: I'm saying, My church kind of progress.
- 26:41Speaker 6: We were talking about why the two superstars, the young
- 26:45Speaker 6: stars that have only been in the not even full
- 26:49Speaker 6: three seasons, Angel Reyes Caitlyn Clark, and the abundant amount
- 26:53Speaker 6: of technicals they have received bad produce. I think you're
- 26:58Speaker 6: sometimes and I even you forced me to go ask
- 27:02Speaker 6: people when I'm asking questions. Am I asking them wrong?
- 27:06Speaker 6: Because you seem to be answering what you want to
- 27:09Speaker 6: answer and not what I'm asking. I'm asking you why
- 27:15Speaker 6: do these two people have who have been linked to
- 27:18Speaker 6: each other like bird and Magic? Yes, These two people
- 27:23Speaker 6: have been linked together in so many ways. This is
- 27:27Speaker 6: an interesting way they are actually linked together. They came
- 27:30Speaker 6: in number one and two in the draft. Every time
- 27:35Speaker 6: they play, it's big news that they're playing each other.
- 27:37Speaker 6: And they have the most amount of technicals in their
- 27:41Speaker 6: first two years. And I think, and if I have
- 27:44Speaker 6: that wrong, please correct me. But I was watching a
- 27:48Speaker 6: sports center and I could have sworn that's what they
- 27:50Speaker 6: had pointed out. Nineteen for one fifteen for the other
- 27:56Speaker 6: Angel Reese played about ten twelve games more.
- 27:59Speaker 5: What's the next closest nineteen fifteen.
- 28:01Speaker 3: They didn't have that up there.
- 28:03Speaker 8: Well they have, like from I was trying to find
- 28:06Speaker 8: the toes as well, but they do have that. Kaln
- 28:09Speaker 8: Cark got got one last night. Last night, she's won
- 28:12Speaker 8: away from spend. She gets that's her seventh one. If
- 28:15Speaker 8: you get eight, it's a one game suspension.
- 28:18Speaker 6: And I think in the NBA they put it up
- 28:20Speaker 6: about thirteen or fourteen, fourteen fifteen, you get a one
- 28:24Speaker 6: game game suspension. So I was asking a bad producer
- 28:28Speaker 6: from that aspect, not what a technical was or all that.
- 28:32Speaker 3: This wasn't about whether they were.
- 28:34Speaker 6: Because we haven't seen the technicals all of them. So
- 28:37Speaker 6: this is not whether they deserved them or not. This
- 28:40Speaker 6: was why they have that many. Well, she shouldn't have
- 28:44Speaker 6: got the one she got less. I watched the game. Okay,
- 28:46Speaker 6: you're still doing something that I'm not asking, and I
- 28:52Speaker 6: don't get why you can answer your question but you
- 28:57Speaker 6: can't seem to answer mine because I didn't ask you
- 29:00Speaker 6: one time. Unless I'm asking the question wrong, I didn't
- 29:06Speaker 6: have it as one time. Are these legitimate technical files?
- 29:10Speaker 6: I just wonder why these two so to give you
- 29:14Speaker 6: an answer, Because I'm gonna give you my answer, then
- 29:16Speaker 6: we'll move on to the rest of the w n
- 29:18Speaker 6: b A. I think the two young ladies came in
- 29:22Speaker 6: as though they were already legit veterans, and shit, no,
- 29:28Speaker 6: don't don't shake your head. Do now understand what I
- 29:31Speaker 6: was just saying, because you're supposed to be sitting over
- 29:33Speaker 6: there not understanding what I was actually asking. But now
- 29:38Speaker 6: you want to amen corner me, deacon. Don't know that
- 29:41Speaker 6: because if you, if you could have done that big
- 29:43Speaker 6: Kenny command you, he could have answered the question. So
- 29:46Speaker 6: mine is Since they came in with so much fanfare,
- 29:51Speaker 6: they don't see themselves as the rookie a rookie knows that. Man,
- 29:56Speaker 6: I'm not gonna really get no. I can't even almost
- 29:59Speaker 6: talk to the referee when you were rookie. This is
- 30:03Speaker 6: but they have because they moved the needle, they moved
- 30:07Speaker 6: the attraction. So they to me, they feel like they've
- 30:12Speaker 6: already deserved that kind of treatment where I'm gonna be
- 30:21Speaker 6: the last guy, last woman.
- 30:22Speaker 3: Excuse me to get a technical.
- 30:26Speaker 6: I can talk to this referee as though I am
- 30:30Speaker 6: twelve years in. Hey, you see a calm down rook Hey,
- 30:35Speaker 6: my name is Ken, and that rookie thing is a
- 30:37Speaker 6: true thing that still exists where you So you're not
- 30:41Speaker 6: gonna call that mister reef?
- 30:44Speaker 3: Hey man, you just got here. They talk to you
- 30:47Speaker 3: like you who are you?
- 30:50Speaker 18: You?
- 30:50Speaker 6: Fresh out of college? Who are you to even be
- 30:53Speaker 6: looking over here begging? And then on the flip side,
- 30:56Speaker 6: the veteran that you're playing against, he go over there
- 31:00Speaker 6: and y'all over that charming it up?
- 31:02Speaker 3: Hey man, how you doing? Come at you?
- 31:04Speaker 5: Greg?
- 31:04Speaker 3: I'm doing, man, what were you last night?
- 31:07Speaker 5: Oh?
- 31:07Speaker 6: We was over in Phoenix and referenced that game. Bo
- 31:10Speaker 6: I had to give Devin Booker a tech. Okay, man, Well, hey, hey,
- 31:15Speaker 6: that that big Kenny. Dude, hey watch that elbow. The
- 31:19Speaker 6: next thing you know, Big Kenny go down court, hit
- 31:21Speaker 6: you with the elbow, and it's like, hold on, man,
- 31:25Speaker 6: I for men.
- 31:28Speaker 3: Do your job.
- 31:30Speaker 6: That's how it is, and it's a tech. But to
- 31:36Speaker 6: me that was just now no no no no no
- 31:40Speaker 6: no no no no no. If you keep talking, I'm
- 31:42Speaker 6: gonna turn your mic off. I'm number two until this
- 31:45Speaker 6: till until I get off this tech thing.
- 31:47Speaker 5: Don't say nothing, bapoos, because I gave you the actual
- 31:50Speaker 5: floor twice and then you gave me no, don't say
- 31:55Speaker 5: nothing and you turn it, turn his mic off just
- 31:57Speaker 5: to control him.
- 31:58Speaker 3: I actually gave him the he gave you a mechanical tech.
- 32:04Speaker 6: I gave him the floor to give me an answer
- 32:06Speaker 6: for the question that I asked the person that we thought,
- 32:09Speaker 6: I know what a file is.
- 32:12Speaker 3: I don't need you to know.
- 32:13Speaker 4: It's a tool.
- 32:13Speaker 5: What they got to do with?
- 32:14Speaker 3: Why these two so this person would have the mess
- 32:17Speaker 3: and we'll move on.
- 32:19Speaker 6: And I think it's just because of that they seem
- 32:23Speaker 6: to already feel and from a sense of being able
- 32:27Speaker 6: to be, because usually that's not how but they are
- 32:31Speaker 6: the two biggest names that came in and in their time.
- 32:35Speaker 6: They went from uncharted flights to chartered flights from high
- 32:40Speaker 6: salary at about two seventy.
- 32:42Speaker 5: Five to I hired an assistant. I got to handle
- 32:46Speaker 5: my stuff while I'm on the road for the season.
- 32:49Speaker 5: And uh, sports doctor, you think that that gives more
- 32:52Speaker 5: credence to the coach saying that about Angelies? Do you
- 32:57Speaker 5: think people understand more?
- 32:59Speaker 19: Now?
- 33:00Speaker 5: Excuse me when they hear that, because she not only
- 33:06Speaker 5: gets preferential treatment, but behaves as if she's entitled to
- 33:10Speaker 5: that treatment. And so when you know she hacking people
- 33:15Speaker 5: and you're supposed to be calling them files, and somebody go, oh,
- 33:18Speaker 5: you just obviously we don't want to argue with angel
- 33:21Speaker 5: today because there may be some of those coaches and
- 33:24Speaker 5: well some of those referees too, Like I'm not finna
- 33:27Speaker 5: get and mix it up with angel rees tonight, you know,
- 33:31Speaker 5: just I'll let them call the foul on her. Yeah,
- 33:34Speaker 5: I think that the coach, I think that got blown out.
- 33:38Speaker 5: I think we're in a slow news cycle. So the
- 33:41Speaker 5: two or three things like this, or when we get
- 33:43Speaker 5: to Ryan Clark, people are putting more gunpowder behind it
- 33:48Speaker 5: because we're in that little small section before we get
- 33:51Speaker 5: to football. But I did think that Sandy Brandello, I
- 33:58Speaker 5: thought that as she was explaining outside of the US,
- 34:02Speaker 5: what she said had nothing to do with race. Her
- 34:05Speaker 5: idea is that we have a certain group of people
- 34:08Speaker 5: who they like.
- 34:09Speaker 3: We can't the Jordan rule.
- 34:15Speaker 6: Situation from from from Jordan, Michael Jordan, and this didn't
- 34:20Speaker 6: he didn't even get him like when he first started.
- 34:22Speaker 6: This started more about about five six years playing the
- 34:27Speaker 6: Detroit Pistons, where it seemed like there was started being
- 34:31Speaker 6: a different rule for the superstar and it is carried
- 34:37Speaker 6: on through where we you be at the game, that's that.
- 34:41Speaker 6: That's the Superstar call right there, like you he can
- 34:44Speaker 6: do this or that. Yeah, so but in this case,
- 34:49Speaker 6: those two people the w n B, As I said,
- 34:51Speaker 6: the All Star Game coming up, but this series, this season,
- 34:56Speaker 6: I don't know how much you've been paying attention. You
- 34:57Speaker 6: can turn his mic back on as and do we
- 35:01Speaker 6: have to for all the big CBA and new contracts.
- 35:06Speaker 6: Seem there's been more controversy about the league than actual
- 35:14Speaker 6: talking about the play.
- 35:17Speaker 3: Now now I did.
- 35:19Speaker 5: I did have more of the Caitlin and the technicals
- 35:23Speaker 5: hare has been more of all the players having an
- 35:25Speaker 5: issue with the filing and the refereeing, uh, things like
- 35:30Speaker 5: that than it has been about who's who's leading. You know,
- 35:34Speaker 5: who's leading, who's in first right, who's leading the v
- 35:38Speaker 5: that kind of thing. I think it's interesting. I didn't
- 35:41Speaker 5: know until this morning, or hadn't paid attention to the
- 35:45Speaker 5: fact that we are coming up on w NBA All
- 35:48Speaker 5: Star Game. I did watch Indiana and was it the
- 35:53Speaker 5: Connecticut sun last night? And the sun got blown completely out?
- 35:58Speaker 5: And yeah, I'm talking. I'm talking about twenty thirty four
- 36:04Speaker 5: of us could have played the fever harder.
- 36:07Speaker 3: I'm serious.
- 36:08Speaker 5: And what it makes me wonder is, now that you've
- 36:12Speaker 5: got all of these deals and stuff, was the noise
- 36:16Speaker 5: for equity more powerful than the product that we're consuming.
- 36:23Speaker 3: I watched what I thought would.
- 36:26Speaker 5: Be the game we got Katelyn, I mean, number two
- 36:32Speaker 5: technicals in the league.
- 36:34Speaker 3: Surely this is gonna be full of passion.
- 36:36Speaker 5: And at some point I looked up at sixty nine
- 36:41Speaker 5: to thirty five or something like that, and I'm like,
- 36:43Speaker 5: is this are we? Is this supposed to be competition?
- 36:47Speaker 5: And maybe that's why we're focusing on other storylines because
- 36:52Speaker 5: nobody's convincingly in first place or there isn't that level
- 36:56Speaker 5: of competition that would warrant us having to go through all.
- 36:59Speaker 3: Of these and the magic in the Wings game.
- 37:01Speaker 7: The second game was a little bit more competitive, but
- 37:03Speaker 7: the first game is you stated it was a blowout
- 37:06Speaker 7: and that I was shocked by and also so.
- 37:10Speaker 3: We'll be back more to Sports Shocks Show right after this.

- 40:34Speaker 6: this up not to shame him because it falls into
- 40:38Speaker 6: that sad same category. I so infrequently see people smoke
- 40:44Speaker 6: cigarettes that when I see somebody smoke a cigarette, it
- 40:49Speaker 6: gains my attention. I see people most I see people
- 40:53Speaker 6: smoke weed, and I see people smoke cigars, but you
- 41:00Speaker 6: don't really see the cigarette, or you don't even really
- 41:03Speaker 6: see people owning that they smoke cigarettes anymore. The comedian
- 41:07Speaker 6: gets up there, or you watch NFL player talk about

- 41:15Speaker 3: Now it's still major business, uh you know.
- 41:19Speaker 6: But I asked that about Leveon because he had gotten
- 41:22Speaker 6: arrested at least for a night, I think, for not
- 41:27Speaker 6: paying child support. And when I see that, I forget
- 41:32Speaker 6: that you can still get arrested for that because you
- 41:37Speaker 6: thought it had become more of a If you get
- 41:40Speaker 6: to that point, we're just gonna run whatever number and.
- 41:45Speaker 5: Take that amount front your count. Yeah see you you
- 41:49Speaker 5: ain't gonna even know. I'm just gonna be oh you mind,
- 41:53Speaker 5: just yeah, you processing responsible? You still think a responsible parents?
- 42:01Speaker 3: No, no, they don't just run.
- 42:05Speaker 5: They got to have six hundred somewhere that you've identified,
- 42:09Speaker 5: is yours that they can come and take when I'm
- 42:11Speaker 5: on some eye, pat in my pockets. Six hundreds how long?
- 42:17Speaker 5: Let me let me just go those four counts that
- 42:19Speaker 5: you have. What account I ain't registered? No, no them,
- 42:23Speaker 5: they all and my mama and my cousin name. And
- 42:25Speaker 5: that's what I'm saying you. You you're still processing it
- 42:29Speaker 5: through the lens of a responsible human being, like people
- 42:32Speaker 5: who run into how about that's.
- 42:34Speaker 3: What they had gotten to. They just take the money
- 42:36Speaker 3: from you without no.
- 42:37Speaker 8: At and you see that they can they can court
- 42:40Speaker 8: shows where they have paternity court or something like that.
- 42:43Speaker 3: These dudes have gone to jail still, And.
- 42:46Speaker 5: That's what I'm saying in the prison for years over
- 42:49Speaker 5: not and they and they do and can take it
- 42:53Speaker 5: directly from an account. If you set it up like that,
- 42:57Speaker 5: they can freeze it by order, but they have to
- 43:01Speaker 5: be aware of it. You got to report the account
- 43:03Speaker 5: exists first, or they have to do some sort of
- 43:06Speaker 5: forensic background stuff. And people who get to you, oh
- 43:11Speaker 5: a whole six hundred GE's, I'm guessing something like that.
- 43:15Speaker 5: I didn't have a number five. Yeah, but people that
- 43:18Speaker 5: you have to come after have actively tried to make
- 43:21Speaker 5: sure you don't know any of that information.
- 43:24Speaker 6: I thought they had just skipped because I remember, you know,
- 43:26Speaker 6: I've grown up my relatives on the run. They had
- 43:29Speaker 6: changed states back in the eighties. Oh yeah, they just
- 43:32Speaker 6: go and live in Georgia for a couple of months and.
- 43:36Speaker 3: Come on back.
- 43:38Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 43:38Speaker 3: But I thought they had all over. I thought they
- 43:40Speaker 3: had moved to.
- 43:42Speaker 6: Oh, don't worry about the courthouse is running through the computers,
- 43:45Speaker 6: take it out there.
- 43:47Speaker 3: I thought that's where they had moved. So anything that
- 43:50Speaker 3: you show that you have, they gonna come and get.
- 43:52Speaker 8: I'm gonna get because that has to be shown to
- 43:55Speaker 8: determine how much will be taken out.
- 43:58Speaker 5: But but but they don't take out of account. They
- 44:02Speaker 5: don't know about it. But what they do now is
- 44:04Speaker 5: you owe us, and what we're gonna do is let
- 44:06Speaker 5: you come down here and pay us, or we gonna
- 44:10Speaker 5: come see you. And when we come see you, we
- 44:11Speaker 5: don't need the money at that point, We just need
- 44:14Speaker 5: to see you. And yeah, because you still yeah, you
- 44:17Speaker 5: still got to pay, but it'll be some added fees
- 44:20Speaker 5: onto it, like court and and bond and all of that.
- 44:24Speaker 5: So yeah, they still arrest you for that stuff and all.
- 44:26Speaker 6: Of that, and that's what it. And like I said,
- 44:28Speaker 6: I'm not I'm just using because that's the most current.
- 44:32Speaker 6: I'm always just surprised when I see that because I
- 44:34Speaker 6: really forgot the part, not that you're behind, but the
- 44:38Speaker 6: part where you can be arrested.
- 44:40Speaker 3: I thought they had.
- 44:41Speaker 6: Moved with all the jail crowding and all that that
- 44:45Speaker 6: they was just like, okay, I got something for you,
- 44:47Speaker 6: command you greg, bl blah blah blah blah blah blah,
- 44:50Speaker 6: b take.
- 44:50Speaker 5: The income tax, take all of that everything else, but
- 44:56Speaker 5: marijuana don't add up to what you out. You don't
- 45:00Speaker 5: need to come still got to come to see you
- 45:02Speaker 5: about that. Seventeen dollars and thirty six cent, but you
- 45:05Speaker 5: took you took all I had five eighty three. I'm saying,
- 45:08Speaker 5: but we still need seventeen thirty. Now I'm saying that
- 45:12Speaker 5: your kids need that. Now, what are you gonna do?
- 45:14Speaker 5: And we got to have it by the third because
- 45:17Speaker 5: if you don't, then it don't count.
- 45:19Speaker 6: I have any you guys have friends recently that's found
- 45:22Speaker 6: themselves in that of your aged out of friends that
- 45:26Speaker 6: are in those.
- 45:27Speaker 5: I have one where I just suspect that there is
- 45:31Speaker 5: that kind of issue because he keeps cash on him
- 45:34Speaker 5: all the time. He's never having he just always cash.
- 45:43Speaker 5: It's just okay, like liquid. They call that being being liquid.
- 45:48Speaker 5: Got no bank cars on, you know, none of that.
- 45:52Speaker 5: I'm living in Florida for.
- 45:53Speaker 7: Three months in some places that really have stopped taking cash.
- 45:58Speaker 7: I went to some with somewhere the other day and
- 46:00Speaker 7: they refused to take.
- 46:02Speaker 6: Yeah, several places are moving to that child high high
- 46:06Speaker 6: end and and and you know, like pizza places. Favorite
- 46:10Speaker 6: pizza place right up here. They stopped in Atlanta, a
- 46:14Speaker 6: place called Fellini's. I don't know if you ever been.
- 46:17Speaker 5: Yeah, one of my favorites too. About two years ago
- 46:21Speaker 5: they stopped taking cash. Child support. People don't take cash
- 46:24Speaker 5: no more. You got to do that somehow by money,
- 46:27Speaker 5: order to check or electronically pay. Yeah, if they don't
- 46:30Speaker 5: take cash.
- 46:31Speaker 6: Well, Greg, you just stay liquid because you know that's
- 46:36Speaker 6: what he was talking about when he said, I know somebody, because.
- 46:42Speaker 3: Hey, you can't prove that.
- 46:43Speaker 5: Great, No, I'm saying, go ahead and pay the people.
- 46:46Speaker 3: Man, you can't prove that.
- 46:47Speaker 5: The best thing, the best day about that child support
- 46:50Speaker 5: thing is when you get that refund because you overpaid
- 46:53Speaker 5: and child support is done, like hey, they've aged out
- 46:56Speaker 5: the child support and oh we owe you one hundred
- 46:59Speaker 5: and eighty three dollars.
- 47:00Speaker 3: You do a little naked dance in the mirror, just
- 47:04Speaker 3: from what I heard from from when.
- 47:06Speaker 5: I heard Heydell you got one hundred and eighty three
- 47:09Speaker 5: dollars coming back, and yes, your child had been a
- 47:11Speaker 5: mansion FETI, you would do a little naked.
- 47:13Speaker 3: Days words Stock Show.
- 47:37Speaker 4: John't Boy, Wayne Boord of The Sports Josh Show with
- 47:40Speaker 4: Wayne Dambia's coming.
- 47:41Speaker 9: Up next, And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance.
- 47:46Speaker 9: Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical
- 47:49Speaker 9: piece of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually
- 47:53Speaker 9: have life insurance.
- 47:54Speaker 22: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 47:56Speaker 22: just getting started with our family and thought we lived forever.
- 47:59Speaker 22: Life insurance was the last thing on my mind.
- 48:01Speaker 3: What about you?
- 48:02Speaker 4: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 48:04Speaker 22: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 48:06Speaker 22: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 48:08Speaker 22: survive without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with
- 48:10Speaker 22: the insurance informant.
- 48:11Speaker 9: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 48:14Speaker 9: security no matter what stage.
- 48:16Speaker 3: Of life you're in.
- 48:17Speaker 22: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I'll
- 48:19Speaker 22: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 48:21Speaker 9: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 48:23Speaker 9: whether you earn a little or a lot, All you
- 48:26Speaker 9: need is the insurance informant to help you build a
- 48:28Speaker 9: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 48:32Speaker 9: two options, benefits or bills? Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 48:36Speaker 9: Log on today benefits or bills dot com? That's benefits
- 48:41Speaker 9: or bills dot com. Some people won't give you the
- 48:45Speaker 9: real talk on drugs, but it's time we know the facts.
- 48:48Speaker 9: Fentanyl is killing people. It's a powerful opiate often made
- 48:51Speaker 9: illegally and commonly mixed with illicted drugs. It can even
- 48:55Speaker 9: be pressed into counterfeit pills that resemble prescription medications. Just
- 48:59Speaker 9: two million, about the size of a few grains of sand,
- 49:02Speaker 9: could potentially be lethal. This isn't an AD to scare you,
- 49:05Speaker 9: but it is an AD to make you think twice.
- 49:07Speaker 9: Get the facts. Go to Real Deal on fentanyl dot com.
- 49:11Speaker 9: This message is brought to you by the AD Council.
- 49:13Speaker 23: You wanted to be cool, which led you to smoking,
- 49:17Speaker 23: which led to a pack a day. Then you met
- 49:20Speaker 23: that special someone, which led to starting a life with them,
- 49:24Speaker 23: which led to wanting to live longer, which led to quitting.
- 49:28Speaker 23: Then you heard you maybe at risk for lung cancer,
- 49:31Speaker 23: which led you to getting a low dose CT scan.
- 49:34Speaker 23: If you smoked, get scanned, talk to your doctor and
- 49:37Speaker 23: learn more at Saved by the Scan dot org. Brought
- 49:40Speaker 23: to you by the American Lung Association and the AD Council.
- 49:46Speaker 4: And now back to the sports John Wayne any.
- 49:51Speaker 2: Center cord on sports news gossip blah blah blah blah blah.
- 50:01Speaker 3: Yeah, it ain't even a question.
- 50:03Speaker 4: Now my jo clues you good.
- 50:04Speaker 24: If you got those days riding your book, it's like
- 50:07Speaker 24: a childhood but you ain't.
- 50:09Speaker 3: No, it's easy, but here me no Bibby.
- 50:11Speaker 24: Gool miss at my gonny the show before they go running,
- 50:14Speaker 24: they mout for moving half Hobby Bak.
- 50:16Speaker 6: Welcome back to this What Shock Show. I'm this What
- 50:18Speaker 6: Shock wing Candy. Good morning. Once again, we're getting closer
- 50:22Speaker 6: and closer to Football SEC Media Day this week. NFL
- 50:32Speaker 6: guys getting ready to go to training camp and play
- 50:36Speaker 6: this insignificant football for your entertainment for about four or
- 50:41Speaker 6: five weeks.
- 50:43Speaker 3: But can we got any traffic right now? Yeah?
- 50:45Speaker 5: Our loyal listeners online have been rocking with us from
- 50:49Speaker 5: the very beginning of the first our Sports Shock like myself.
- 50:52Speaker 5: Elder Casey Hwey Senior said, uh he addressing kind of soy.
- 50:56Speaker 5: He do all colors, so so whatever theme party you want,
- 51:00Speaker 5: uh he uh he, And he was talking about especially
- 51:04Speaker 5: under black light. I believe when he was talking about
- 51:06Speaker 5: the colors black and white, how they show up. He was,
- 51:10Speaker 5: He says, when he was stationed in Germany, they held
- 51:12Speaker 5: theme parties all the time. Asked me to look up
- 51:14Speaker 5: something called a sham party and I looked it up,
- 51:17Speaker 5: but it was all in German.
- 51:19Speaker 3: So I know it wasn't safe. You know what I'm saying.
- 51:23Speaker 5: An English translation. You know, stuff is wrong. Daryl Bowen Senior,
- 51:30Speaker 5: that's our man, uh who comes in DJs with the
- 51:34Speaker 5: bad producer sometime. Uh. He said he want to have
- 51:38Speaker 5: a pimp party. That's his theme party. And then the
- 51:41Speaker 5: case he asked who would volunteer to be the whole.
- 51:48Speaker 13: Uh?
- 51:49Speaker 3: And then women? Yeah, see the.
- 51:56Speaker 4: Game to be so not to.
- 51:59Speaker 17: Uh.
- 52:00Speaker 5: Jared Lloyd, our loyal Raiders fan from New York, has
- 52:04Speaker 5: asked us to stop entertaining his idiocy when it comes
- 52:07Speaker 5: to the Okay, stop entertaining that.
- 52:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 52:13Speaker 5: When we were talking about Caitlyn Clark, Elder Casey said,
- 52:16Speaker 5: it's ebony and ivory, bird and magic. That's why I
- 52:20Speaker 5: guess they get so much scrutiny. Then Darryl Bowen said
- 52:25Speaker 5: that outspoken superstars who think they are the face of
- 52:28Speaker 5: the w n B A, And I replied, think with
- 52:32Speaker 5: the exclamation question mark, because yeah, haven't they made them
- 52:39Speaker 5: the faces of the w n B A.
- 52:41Speaker 6: Caitlyn Clark is the face of women's basketball, period.
- 52:49Speaker 3: She is the face.
- 52:50Speaker 6: I keep hearing this and she's the face of women's basketball.
- 52:57Speaker 6: She is not the best when woman's basketball player. That
- 53:02Speaker 6: lady resides in Las Vegas. Nobody is threatening her crown
- 53:10Speaker 6: right now at all. She served somebody else last night
- 53:15Speaker 6: a nice thirty eight piece. I didn't even know they
- 53:17Speaker 6: sold wings at a thirty eight piece. I thought you
- 53:20Speaker 6: had to get twenty and forty. It was hot, it
- 53:26Speaker 6: was well seasoned. They came with some celery, some carriage,
- 53:31Speaker 6: the old school way. They didn't even ask you. They
- 53:33Speaker 6: brought both blue cheese and ranch. They didn't even ask you,
- 53:37Speaker 6: They just brought both of them. But Asia Wilson is
- 53:42Speaker 6: not the face. She's not in the media every day
- 53:50Speaker 6: as a solo act. We don't know her to drive
- 53:54Speaker 6: ticket sales. People go see the Vegas aces with Asian Wilson.
- 54:04Speaker 6: We don't know what she gonna do as a solo act. Now,
- 54:08Speaker 6: she could be body brown, but we do know the
- 54:11Speaker 6: young lady in Indiana moves people from big arenas, from
- 54:18Speaker 6: small arenas to big arenas, to.
- 54:21Speaker 3: Just yes to stadiums.
- 54:22Speaker 5: She's straight up on some I'm David ruffing and these
- 54:25Speaker 5: are the temptations. That's That's where Caitlyn Clark is with it,
- 54:28Speaker 5: And I'm asking do we not just accept that sometimes
- 54:32Speaker 5: those people may be a little more vocal.
- 54:34Speaker 6: Well, I think that we're getting the face. In this case,
- 54:38Speaker 6: the face typically is the best player, but somehow in
- 54:45Speaker 6: the face is the person who has the biggest draw.
- 54:50Speaker 6: There was years where Tim Duncan was the best player,
- 54:53Speaker 6: but he wasn't drawing people like a co be or
- 55:01Speaker 6: a shock. Those people on teams drew people. There was
- 55:06Speaker 6: years they were the best, but there was years that
- 55:08Speaker 6: they were not considered the best player. And to me,
- 55:13Speaker 6: that's all that. Sometimes we don't. It's like in the NFL,
- 55:17Speaker 6: everybody think the quarterback is the leader. He is not.
- 55:25Speaker 11: He is not.
- 55:26Speaker 6: We don't go to him for wisdom. And he out
- 55:29Speaker 6: in his car with two girls in there smoking weed. Hey, man,
- 55:33Speaker 6: come on, man, we got practice.
- 55:35Speaker 3: He got the captain. It's two o'clock all time.
- 55:38Speaker 5: Yeah, man, come on man, But with two women smoking
- 55:42Speaker 5: weed in the cap before practice, I'm gonna follow him
- 55:44Speaker 5: and he can be a leader.
- 55:46Speaker 3: I think that guy's wise. Now, we don't tell the public.
- 55:50Speaker 3: We just ride with the whole got on his chest
- 55:55Speaker 3: and we let and we go with them.
- 55:57Speaker 5: And after practice we do hooked on phinex with you.
- 55:59Speaker 6: But it's not that And I get and I think
- 56:02Speaker 6: because bad was saying we could talk about this, I
- 56:06Speaker 6: think guys.
- 56:07Speaker 3: When they hear face, they're equating it to mean that
- 56:10Speaker 3: you're saying that the person is the best. Yeah, that's
- 56:15Speaker 3: just that's common misconception. Yeah.
- 56:19Speaker 5: We also had when we were talking about not taking cash.
- 56:22Speaker 5: Mercedes Benz don't take cash. That's Elder Casey and that's
- 56:26Speaker 5: Mercedes ben Stadium here in Atlanta. They do not take
- 56:28Speaker 5: any amount of cash. And then I thought they took
- 56:31Speaker 5: the cash where you went and got the money on
- 56:33Speaker 5: a call? You you put it in a machine though, Yeah,
- 56:35Speaker 5: you go get a machine, state of the machine, Yeah,
- 56:38Speaker 5: they do. They don't trust the employee, the employees, right,
- 56:41Speaker 5: And then bringing everything because because you're letting me take
- 56:45Speaker 5: the cash to the place, Yeah, but you don't trust
- 56:48Speaker 5: me to give it to the employee, right, Exactly, you
- 56:50Speaker 5: don't have you don't have a problem with coming in
- 56:52Speaker 5: here and and getting to a machine to a machine,
- 56:55Speaker 5: the machine is locked.
- 56:57Speaker 3: You just don't trust. You don't trust people.
- 56:59Speaker 5: And then bringing everything, uh full circle the theme parties
- 57:03Speaker 5: and the child support talk. Jarl Boyn Senior says his
- 57:06Speaker 5: boy threw a party after his last child support payment.
- 57:09Speaker 5: It was the theme of the party. Though your last
- 57:14Speaker 5: child support payment was the theme of the party. So
- 57:17Speaker 5: I guess, however, you would have. So everybody was at
- 57:20Speaker 5: this party dancing naked in the mirror, I suppose, I
- 57:24Speaker 5: don't know.
- 57:24Speaker 3: So, yeah, that's what we got, got you?
- 57:28Speaker 17: Yeah?
- 57:29Speaker 3: Did you? Oh? Who is Nicky Kimp that?
- 57:33Speaker 5: Nicky Kemp said she'll be a little We had a
- 57:35Speaker 5: lady like when you said, I missed that Nicky Kemp
- 57:39Speaker 5: said she'll be a pimp. Yes, she already, she already
- 57:43Speaker 5: got one in the stable because you recognized the hold on.
- 57:46Speaker 3: My daddy said. You know what I'm saying.
- 57:48Speaker 5: My daddy said she'll be the pimpy.
- 57:51Speaker 3: We'll be back right after this.
- 58:05Speaker 4: Jon't bow Away or of the Sports Josh Show with
- 58:08Speaker 4: Wayne Gambias Dummy dot next.
- 58:12Speaker 12: Remember always be generous with the nutmey just diyebali.
- 58:17Speaker 21: Okay, Mom's wisdom has served you well, but now it
- 58:21Speaker 21: may be your turn to guide her.
- 58:23Speaker 25: Hey, I'm worried about Mom. She keeps forgetting her famous
- 58:26Speaker 25: sweet potato pie recipe.
- 58:27Speaker 5: Some things come with it, says, and some don't.
- 58:31Speaker 21: Knowing the early signs of Alzheimer's and a loved one
- 58:33Speaker 21: will help you make the best decisions for your family.
- 58:36Speaker 21: Visit tensigns dot org to learn the signs. Brought to
- 58:39Speaker 21: you by the Alzheimer's Association and the AD Council.
- 58:43Speaker 25: Choosing to buy a gun was not a decision I
- 58:45Speaker 25: took lightly, but with everything going on, I really wanted
- 58:48Speaker 25: to feel like I could protect myself. I hadn't thought
- 58:51Speaker 25: about the danger of an unlocked gun in my own
- 58:53Speaker 25: home too.
- 58:54Speaker 12: Me aware your napkins, well, not that drawer unless anyone
- 58:59Speaker 12: needs gun.
- 59:03Speaker 1: Now.
- 59:03Speaker 25: I always lock my gun to keep everyone safe. Visit
- 59:06Speaker 25: infamilyfire dot org to learn how to store your guns
- 59:09Speaker 25: more securely.
- 59:10Speaker 3: Brought to you by Brady and the AD Council.
- 59:12Speaker 19: Ever tried balancing a dozen eggs in one hand while
- 59:14Speaker 19: hopping on one foot, or maybe juggling cats while riding
- 59:17Speaker 19: the unicycle? Sounds ridiculous, right, but guess what. That's exactly
- 59:22Speaker 19: what texting while driving is like. Your human brain only
- 59:25Speaker 19: has the capacity to focus on one thing at a time,
- 59:28Speaker 19: So when you're behind the wheel, give driving your undivided attention.
- 59:32Speaker 26: Don't drive distracted. A message brought to you by the
- 59:35Speaker 26: National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Project yellow Light and the
- 59:39Speaker 26: AD Council.
- 59:42Speaker 3: I actually drove better when I'm high. If anything, I'm
- 59:45Speaker 3: more careful.
- 59:46Speaker 27: That's probably what the driver who killed a four year
- 59:48Speaker 27: old told himself and now he's in prison. If you
- 59:51Speaker 27: feel different, you drive different, don't drive high. Brought to
- 59:55Speaker 27: you by NITZA and the AD Council.
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: And enough is enough.
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: I don't have any cry so serious.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: Sup And we hold the world ranchom for.
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: Excuse me while I whip this out. Broadcasting live and Atlanta, Georgia.
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: This this is the Sports Shock Ship with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:00:29Speaker 9: You may pill began, Dan won't freak me down?
- 1:00:35Speaker 23: Come till five, come comes to none?
- 1:00:39Speaker 5: Is it just going.
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: I'm doing ber Yeah, I'm gonna go on the way you.
- 1:00:47Speaker 16: Made Bill Vegan.
- 1:00:49Speaker 6: Welcome back to this spot Shock Shower. I'm the Sports
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: Shock Wayne Gandy. Good morning to you out there and
- 1:00:54Speaker 6: listening land. You missed a great hour. We went from
- 1:00:58Speaker 6: togo parties to pimping. Imagine that on the Sports Show
- 1:01:05Speaker 6: on a Thursday morning. It happened from Togo parties to pimping,
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: all in one hour of conversation.
- 1:01:11Speaker 5: Welcome to the summer. The first time it happened to
- 1:01:16Speaker 5: catch you off God a little bit, but just just
- 1:01:18Speaker 5: stick around, was Jack Inn.
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: As we took the break.
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: One thing I'm gonna give you because I just want
- 1:01:25Speaker 6: to make sure everybody understands that was in my opinion,
- 1:01:28Speaker 6: and I love to ask my group of guys. That's
- 1:01:30Speaker 6: what they are here for to make sure I had
- 1:01:32Speaker 6: it right. When I were talking about the face of
- 1:01:35Speaker 6: the in I'm in w NBA, I felt like Caitlyn
- 1:01:40Speaker 6: Clark as we went to break and I'm gonna ask
- 1:01:43Speaker 6: you guys, it's the same at the time that Magic
- 1:01:47Speaker 6: and Bird came. Because somebody made a reference of Kate
- 1:01:51Speaker 6: and Angel being that kind of combination in link in history.
- 1:01:56Speaker 6: That's how people are going to kind of link them.
- 1:02:01Speaker 6: At the time that they came in the league. From
- 1:02:05Speaker 6: my memory, the best player at that time was Kareem
- 1:02:09Speaker 6: Abdul Jabbar, but Kareem abdu Jabbar was not the face
- 1:02:15Speaker 6: of the NBA once they came. Now it became the
- 1:02:20Speaker 6: Magic and Bird for me. Now, I can't speak for
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: the generation before me or for any of you guys,
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: but that's the kind of way that I'm trying to
- 1:02:29Speaker 6: explain that where the best player because of how Kareem
- 1:02:35Speaker 6: and his style in the media. But Magic and Bird
- 1:02:41Speaker 6: is what drove the NBA to stop being tape delayed.
- 1:02:45Speaker 6: If you don't remember the history of the NBA before
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: those two came along. Similar to Caitlin Clark and Andrew Reese,
- 1:02:54Speaker 6: Bird and Magic, they recorded the game and played it
- 1:02:57Speaker 6: to you the next day. But Bird and Magic with
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: that tidal wave of fan pandemonium they had from that
- 1:03:06Speaker 6: championship game once they entered then they started showing you
- 1:03:10Speaker 6: the games live right, and don't we have that with
- 1:03:14Speaker 6: Angel and Caitlin. It but has become big media contract.
- 1:03:20Speaker 6: We're gonna show multiple games, back to back game, We're gonna.
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: Have a whole day of it.
- 1:03:25Speaker 6: So USA Network, yes, don't got a whole Yes, somebody
- 1:03:29Speaker 6: was gonna buy the package and USA Network is doing
- 1:03:32Speaker 6: what TNT did.
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: I just did some research and it says that.
- 1:03:37Speaker 5: Kareem had been in the league I believe about nine
- 1:03:39Speaker 5: years before Burn and Magic were drafted, which gave him
- 1:03:45Speaker 5: plenty of time to have been solidified as the face
- 1:03:47Speaker 5: if they were going to make somebody to face. Plus
- 1:03:50Speaker 5: he had the credentials from college, but he just never
- 1:03:55Speaker 5: catapulted to that status.
- 1:03:57Speaker 8: It's some guys who he said, like he didn't really
- 1:04:02Speaker 8: care about that kind of thing. And I think that's
- 1:04:04Speaker 8: that's kind of the case now with some players that
- 1:04:07Speaker 8: we would want to be. Well, if you look at it,
- 1:04:11Speaker 8: potentially the face of the league that if you look
- 1:04:13Speaker 8: at the matchup of a Bird and Magic, the one
- 1:04:17Speaker 8: who really drove the storyline and gave you the sound
- 1:04:21Speaker 8: bites was Magic.
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: Bird didn't do a lot.
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: Yeah, Bird didn't do a lot of talk, and he
- 1:04:25Speaker 5: would feed you, you know, with that barely watch his
- 1:04:32Speaker 5: lips move, just tell somebody holding him scoreboard.
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: You know, I didn't see him do anything.
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: But you know that was just uh sometimes and now
- 1:04:46Speaker 5: we recognize it easier because it's normalized. But back then
- 1:04:50Speaker 5: they were still manufacturing storylines. We just didn't know that
- 1:04:55Speaker 5: they were pushing that harder than anything else, and Bird
- 1:04:58Speaker 5: just got caught up in it. Maybe Magic was loving
- 1:05:01Speaker 5: it because of his personality. But you know, I'm sure
- 1:05:06Speaker 5: Angel Rees and Caitlyn Clark will go down as some
- 1:05:10Speaker 5: of that. But again, and you're right, the Angel would
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: be Magic in the sense Caitlyn would be Birds. As
- 1:05:18Speaker 5: far as even how Caitlyn doesn't show you really her life,
- 1:05:24Speaker 5: Angel wants to be part. She's at the Brammy, She's
- 1:05:28Speaker 5: at this, the met Gala, everything, And I'm quite sure
- 1:05:34Speaker 5: Caitlyn's agent is getting all those same.
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: Invites.
- 1:05:39Speaker 5: Just give me the all the state pharm commercials. That's
- 1:05:44Speaker 5: all you can see in me. But who would you,
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: guys say is the face.
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: Of the w n B A right now?
- 1:05:56Speaker 5: I would have to say it's Angel Reese is the face.
- 1:06:00Speaker 5: Caitlyn Clark is the logo in my opinion, She's the
- 1:06:04Speaker 5: one that they're hold hanging all of their hopes on.
- 1:06:08Speaker 5: But akin to a Larry Bird, Caitlyn don't talk much
- 1:06:14Speaker 5: outside of the court, and angels willing to give you
- 1:06:19Speaker 5: twenty four to seven w NBA me me, me basketball
- 1:06:23Speaker 5: all the time.
- 1:06:24Speaker 8: So I know people have different definitions as far as
- 1:06:30Speaker 8: like is it the kind of accolades or is it
- 1:06:34Speaker 8: the popularity? Going by the popularity angle, I would say
- 1:06:38Speaker 8: it's Caitlyn Clark because she would any WNBA segment could
- 1:06:43Speaker 8: be led by what she did. She's driving this, driving
- 1:06:50Speaker 8: traffic to people to talk about the WNBA, learn about it,
- 1:06:57Speaker 8: to go to the games, and it's people who don't
- 1:06:59Speaker 8: understand people who understand basketball but maybe not understand this
- 1:07:03Speaker 8: league or even who the best players are. And there's
- 1:07:07Speaker 8: always something to nitpick at her, so positively or negatively
- 1:07:13Speaker 8: or just any kind of critique is spinning off of
- 1:07:18Speaker 8: what she does.
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm great, Caitlyn.
- 1:07:23Speaker 7: She is in the driving force right now for the
- 1:07:27Speaker 7: NWNBA Angels close second, But that helps with the situation
- 1:07:32Speaker 7: where pushes the Caitlyn Clark because everybody needs a villain
- 1:07:36Speaker 7: or a superhero and a villain.
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: But Caitlyn Clark, she is.
- 1:07:40Speaker 7: She's the reason why a lot of things have changed
- 1:07:43Speaker 7: it and you would hope that, like I said, I
- 1:07:47Speaker 7: look at her. She plays on the court. I mean
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: as you stay. As we've talked about Angel Reese all
- 1:07:53Speaker 7: day every day. She's she have a game tonight in Atlanta.
- 1:07:57Speaker 7: Later on that night, she may be it somewhere else
- 1:08:00Speaker 7: hanging out. Caitlyn Clark, we don't see that. If she does,
- 1:08:04Speaker 7: you don't, you know she's well guarded, her PR team
- 1:08:09Speaker 7: make sure if you see her, it's just something charity fundraiser,
- 1:08:13Speaker 7: community service oriented, not a club, not a party, not
- 1:08:16Speaker 7: an award show.
- 1:08:17Speaker 6: And I'm more still Caitland Clark once again, because I've
- 1:08:23Speaker 6: been to two w NBA games this year Angel Reese
- 1:08:27Speaker 6: actually plays for the Atlanta Dream. I haven't gone to
- 1:08:31Speaker 6: the Atlanta Dream game to see Angel Reese yet. The
- 1:08:36Speaker 6: two games I have attended was the game that Caitlyn
- 1:08:40Speaker 6: Clark came here and the game that Asia Wilson came here.
- 1:08:47Speaker 6: Those games had to be moved from the small arena
- 1:08:53Speaker 6: where the Dream play to State Farm what is it
- 1:08:56Speaker 6: called the Coway Center, So from a five thousand seat
- 1:09:01Speaker 6: to a eighteen thousand seat And right now, unless the
- 1:09:08Speaker 6: Dream are going to most likely, I'm not only intrigue
- 1:09:10Speaker 6: of seeing the Dream and their home confined is that
- 1:09:15Speaker 6: I've never been there. But Anger Reach being on the
- 1:09:19Speaker 6: team has not driven me to want to see the
- 1:09:23Speaker 6: Dream anymore. Yeah, in anything, And that's my whole who
- 1:09:30Speaker 6: is really driving the needle of pandemonium? If one of
- 1:09:37Speaker 6: the two could not be there in the NWNBA, Anger
- 1:09:41Speaker 6: Reach could not be You could fade her out and
- 1:09:44Speaker 6: the numbers.
- 1:09:47Speaker 3: Will stay the same.
- 1:09:49Speaker 6: And by when Michael Jordan is announced not to play,
- 1:09:54Speaker 6: ticket sales drop. You throw Michael Jordan, people tune out.
- 1:10:00Speaker 6: And that's how I feel. Caitlyn Clark, she just has
- 1:10:04Speaker 6: that right, wrong or indifferent. Angel Reese creates through social media,
- 1:10:15Speaker 6: her consciousness, her name into your raalm.
- 1:10:18Speaker 5: But no, no, I was never speaking of her in
- 1:10:22Speaker 5: terms of, like you said, not necessarily the best player,
- 1:10:25Speaker 5: but someone who has cemented her place in the consciousness
- 1:10:31Speaker 5: of the social media landscape. She is definitely head over
- 1:10:37Speaker 5: heels above any of the other WNBA players.
- 1:10:39Speaker 6: Ann Rodgers has had a family reunion. Seems like him
- 1:10:45Speaker 6: his mom, dad, and brother Jordan have patched together a
- 1:10:51Speaker 6: riff that has been around for about ten years. That's
- 1:10:54Speaker 6: big news for Aaron Rodgers. I think, as I discussed
- 1:10:58Speaker 6: this last night on the Pittsburgh Still Their Squad show
- 1:11:01Speaker 6: that I do on Wednesday night, I think Aaron Rodgers
- 1:11:06Speaker 6: is taking moves to be able to share this season
- 1:11:11Speaker 6: with his family, the people who he started this with,
- 1:11:16Speaker 6: finding enough common ground that so I wouldn't be surprised
- 1:11:20Speaker 6: as you see games his family. He's in the stands
- 1:11:23Speaker 6: the camera swinging over to his parents. This is what
- 1:11:28Speaker 6: producers and media outlets are going to do. And I
- 1:11:31Speaker 6: think this is something It's funny families in sports man
- 1:11:35Speaker 6: it's and just families in general. While things can just
- 1:11:38Speaker 6: be fractured when they're supposed to be, this abundance of
- 1:11:43Speaker 6: love and forgiveness. They can be fractured so long over
- 1:11:50Speaker 6: just difference of personality.
- 1:11:52Speaker 17: What what was?
- 1:11:53Speaker 5: Do we know what the rift was? In particular?
- 1:11:56Speaker 6: It started from what I was able to read back
- 1:12:01Speaker 6: about ten years ago when his brother went on the Bachelorette,
- 1:12:06Speaker 6: either he was on the Bachelorette or he was the bachelor,
- 1:12:08Speaker 6: or I think he was the bachelor, and he was
- 1:12:11Speaker 6: trying to kind of insert Aaron's name, even did some
- 1:12:16Speaker 6: kind of segment where he had a dinner and had
- 1:12:19Speaker 6: a play set for Aaron and Olivia Mont and kind
- 1:12:24Speaker 6: of represent like Aaron didn't show up and Aaron didn't
- 1:12:28Speaker 6: want to be part of any of that period. So
- 1:12:30Speaker 6: you're kind of using the name the brand to boost
- 1:12:34Speaker 6: you up. So you told me he was going to
- 1:12:37Speaker 6: show up.
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: Man, I put the plate out there, and you didn't
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: show up, but I told you I wouldn't. Well, anyway,
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: you found a way how to use.
- 1:12:48Speaker 5: And I was going to say it may have been
- 1:12:50Speaker 5: not having been around reality TV in the production part
- 1:12:54Speaker 5: of it. There was never even any talk of Aaron coming.
- 1:12:58Speaker 5: There was never an invitation extended. Look you, Aaron ware brother.
- 1:13:01Speaker 5: I got an idea and they run with that idea,
- 1:13:04Speaker 5: and you know, I'm Aaron took offense to it, playing
- 1:13:07Speaker 5: me and he got the call from Olivia like.
- 1:13:10Speaker 6: And most likely the parents would have We just speculating
- 1:13:14Speaker 6: now the parents probably sided with the youngers.
- 1:13:16Speaker 5: Oh come on, man, let your brother have a life.
- 1:13:19Speaker 5: To Aaron, it's easy to be judgmental when you're Aaron Rodgers.
- 1:13:24Speaker 5: That kind of thing where you know what, I'm gonna
- 1:13:27Speaker 5: take my name off your light bill too, mama, And
- 1:13:30Speaker 5: see how everybody.
- 1:13:31Speaker 4: Like that and that new Cadillac.
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: You got to go there. Whatever, you're not getting that.
- 1:13:38Speaker 5: New two thousand.
- 1:13:39Speaker 3: We'll be back more to Sports Show after.

- 1:17:02Speaker 3: is no genre movie minus Wiggs's The Whigs.
- 1:17:06Speaker 8: Yeah, and that was that, you said Samuel l like
- 1:17:09Speaker 8: Samuel Jackson minus the Whigs.
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: No, what he wears?
- 1:17:13Speaker 8: He was wig and the well you detective, but like
- 1:17:16Speaker 8: not every movie where it's a ridiculous color or style.
- 1:17:21Speaker 7: Was that natural Born Killers with him? He went on
- 1:17:23Speaker 7: that Killers break That's the one when really he was
- 1:17:27Speaker 7: like natural Born Killers confused with zombie laying. No zombie laying,
- 1:17:33Speaker 7: the one where he was a bowlerded king. That was ridiculous.
- 1:17:40Speaker 7: He's been in everything, man, it's really been around. Woody
- 1:17:43Speaker 7: Harrison sixty five. Daniel Ratcliffe excuse me Ratcliffe, uh is

- 1:18:48Speaker 7: means to hang a.
- 1:18:50Speaker 3: Month, because that just sounds like, hey, okay, she came
- 1:18:53Speaker 3: in there like, yeah, my name is such and such.
- 1:18:56Speaker 3: You know what, we got a better name. That is

- 1:19:04Speaker 5: it right, you know, because that sounds like sound we're
- 1:19:07Speaker 5: gonna set her up for success. Griselda Jennifer Lopez is

- 1:19:19Speaker 6: The Maleman Karl Malone is sixty three. Rick Fox, have

- 1:19:53Speaker 6: show is forty four. Linda Carter. We're talking about Wonder Woman,
- 1:19:59Speaker 6: who the original Wonder Woman is seventy five years old.
- 1:20:04Speaker 6: Is Linda Carter. Tory Wilson from ww E. She's fifty one.
- 1:20:11Speaker 6: Alvin Kamarow who just signing to stay with the Saints,
- 1:20:15Speaker 6: is thirty one. Bryce Young is twenty five of the Panthers.
- 1:20:19Speaker 6: Matt LeBlanc from Friends is fifty nine. Jaffar Jackson, who uh,
- 1:20:25Speaker 6: just hey, Jafar, go to Vegas, have your residency and
- 1:20:28Speaker 6: make a whole bunch of money for as long as
- 1:20:31Speaker 6: you came out there and do the Mike review review.
- 1:20:34Speaker 6: Ain't nobody gonna be able to do the mic review
- 1:20:37Speaker 6: like you did in that movie. So yeah, that's what
- 1:20:41Speaker 6: you need to do. It signed a thirty year deal
- 1:20:44Speaker 6: to do to Mike Jackson review at a hotel and
- 1:20:48Speaker 6: make starring Ja'afar almost looked just like him?
- 1:20:51Speaker 4: Might be jack.
- 1:20:55Speaker 5: Go with will at all thirty years old? Is Jaffar Jackson.
- 1:21:00Speaker 5: Joe Mixon excuse me, Joe Nixon is thirty as well.
- 1:21:04Speaker 5: Drick London of the Falcons is twenty five and the
- 1:21:07Speaker 5: greatest baseball player that I have ever seen. Barry lamar
- 1:21:14Speaker 5: Bum He's sixty two years old, sixty two years old.
- 1:21:19Speaker 5: But Steele, but Stele is growing muscles naturally.
- 1:21:24Speaker 3: And as I tell people all the time, everybody's on that.
- 1:21:27Speaker 3: But you need a fail test. We fail test.
- 1:21:30Speaker 6: But regardless of what you think about that, he won
- 1:21:34Speaker 6: three MVPs with the Pirates. Yes, sir, that's hall of
- 1:21:39Speaker 6: fame right there, right there. So before you ever think
- 1:21:42Speaker 6: he found a needle or some creatin or protein shape,
- 1:21:47Speaker 6: I saw him do work for the Pirates. He won
- 1:21:49Speaker 6: three MVPs. Something tells me that if you can win
- 1:21:52Speaker 6: three MVPs in a sport, you get to go to
- 1:21:56Speaker 6: the Hall of fame. Just all out, I'm thinking, what
- 1:22:00Speaker 6: you right? And how many years did he play with
- 1:22:03Speaker 6: the Giants? He played about ten with the Pirates and
- 1:22:09Speaker 6: about ten with the Giants. I'm saying, equaled out.
- 1:22:12Speaker 11: It was.
- 1:22:14Speaker 3: So long with the Giants that you almost.
- 1:22:16Speaker 6: Forgot the Pirates with Bobby Beaunia, Yeah, that's all what
- 1:22:21Speaker 6: he went back in the day.
- 1:22:23Speaker 3: Uh uh a little work today we have Uh.
- 1:22:28Speaker 5: Well, you know, I'm saying, okay, okay, because she had
- 1:22:33Speaker 5: called j Lowell, she's good for the two for True Blood.
- 1:22:38Speaker 5: Yeah from True Blood. Ain't scared to bite you know,
- 1:22:42Speaker 5: she ain't scared to bite nobody. So come on Anna
- 1:22:46Speaker 5: the uh with Rick Fox.
- 1:22:49Speaker 8: He did not win that election, but he was appointed
- 1:22:52Speaker 8: to the Senate of the Bahamas, which is like the there.
- 1:22:58Speaker 5: It's like Congress appointed. Everybody got, he got, they gave him.
- 1:23:01Speaker 5: So his first step, yeah, he'll be able to be.
- 1:23:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:23:06Speaker 7: I have to stay on the island a little bit long.
- 1:23:09Speaker 7: You can't just fly in once a month. Some work
- 1:23:12Speaker 7: show up two months, two days a month. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:23:16Speaker 7: that's how that was.
- 1:23:18Speaker 8: You know, he got a home like that because he's
- 1:23:21Speaker 8: Canadian and he had to renounce his Canadian citizenship so
- 1:23:25Speaker 8: he could run.
- 1:23:26Speaker 3: That's what that is. Yeah, so you need to get
- 1:23:28Speaker 3: some clerical things. Yeah, just showed up. Yeah.
- 1:23:31Speaker 7: Yeah, like why Cliff that mama run for hazing as president.
- 1:23:36Speaker 7: I remember White Cleff ran for president day. Come on,
- 1:23:40Speaker 7: you live in Jersey, New Jersey. Man.
- 1:23:43Speaker 3: We'll be back more to Sports Jock Show right after this.
- 1:23:50Speaker 3: Lots in the game pretty women to make us, wanted
- 1:23:56Speaker 3: to say, John Bolla.
- 1:24:00Speaker 4: More of the Sports Josh Show with Wayne Gandridas coming
- 1:24:03Speaker 4: up next.
- 1:24:06Speaker 13: The more you listen to your kids, the closer you'll be.
- 1:24:10Speaker 13: So we ask kids, what do you want your parents
- 1:24:13Speaker 13: to hear?
- 1:24:14Speaker 12: I feel sometimes that I'm not listening to I would
- 1:24:16Speaker 12: just want you to listen to me more often and
- 1:24:19Speaker 12: evaluate situations with me and lead me towards success.
- 1:24:23Speaker 4: We're not adults, so just just be there and like, listen.
- 1:24:28Speaker 4: I just want someone to yat too, and I just
- 1:24:30Speaker 4: feel like I'll be fine.
- 1:24:32Speaker 17: Like if someone just hears me talk and talk and
- 1:24:34Speaker 17: talk and talk and talk and talk.
- 1:24:36Speaker 3: And talk, you're doing a really good job. And I
- 1:24:39Speaker 3: don't think I tell you that I don't know, and
- 1:24:40Speaker 3: I know sometimes we get into it and it's just
- 1:24:45Speaker 3: hard on both of us. But I'll try to understand
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: me more and I'll try to do the same.
- 1:24:51Speaker 13: Listening is a form of love. Find resources to help
- 1:24:55Speaker 13: you support your kids and their emotional well being. I
- 1:24:58Speaker 13: sound it out together dot org. That's Sounded out Together
- 1:25:01Speaker 13: dot org, brought to you by the AD Council and Pivotal.
- 1:25:05Speaker 17: I'm a pretty great multitasker. I can wash dishes and
- 1:25:09Speaker 17: do laundry. I can roller skate while walking my dogs.
- 1:25:12Speaker 17: I can even order lunch while doing my homework. But
- 1:25:15Speaker 17: I can't use my phone while driving. A distracted driver
- 1:25:19Speaker 17: is one of the leading causes of death in the
- 1:25:21Speaker 17: United States. So when it comes to driving, please don't
- 1:25:24Speaker 17: be a multitasker.
- 1:25:25Speaker 4: Don't drive distracted.
- 1:25:27Speaker 26: A message brought to you by the National Highway Traffic
- 1:25:29Speaker 26: Safety Administration, Project yellow Light and the AD Council.
- 1:25:35Speaker 4: And now back to the Sports John I'm Wayne.
- 1:25:38Speaker 5: Gandy, player's lounge.
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: Have been given full access to the player's lounge on
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:25:56Speaker 5: That's a YO.
- 1:25:56Speaker 29: Said, Welcome back to the sport Shock Shaw.
- 1:26:19Speaker 3: I'm the Sports Shock Wing Candy. Ryan Clark, former.
- 1:26:25Speaker 6: Washington commander, former Pittsburgh Stiller has been a contributor at
- 1:26:34Speaker 6: ESPN on the NFL side, has grown into just being
- 1:26:41Speaker 6: a baby stephen A as time has shown part of
- 1:26:45Speaker 6: a round of bitcuts of ESPN when I saw not
- 1:26:52Speaker 6: just Ryan, but Cam Newton and probably even the favorite
- 1:26:56Speaker 6: I had that if anybody would have had a problem,
- 1:27:00Speaker 6: it would have been Carl Ravage, the baseball announcer. It's
- 1:27:04Speaker 6: hard for me to forget when Karl Ravitch was not
- 1:27:08Speaker 6: the person talking baseball for ESPN, but all the noise
- 1:27:13Speaker 6: and buzz came around Ryan Clark a couple of days ago.
- 1:27:17Speaker 6: Being part of those cuts I figured for the most part,
- 1:27:22Speaker 6: ESPN just like a lot of these the Foxes and
- 1:27:25Speaker 6: anybody else in this business. You see this in the
- 1:27:29Speaker 6: landscape of sports all the time. When you give the
- 1:27:33Speaker 6: big contract to the quarterback. Have you ever noticed that
- 1:27:41Speaker 6: the running back starts being rooky or a journeyman. Think
- 1:27:47Speaker 6: about that. Now, that's what happened. When you decide to
- 1:27:50Speaker 6: give Patrick Mahomes the fifty million a year, the running
- 1:27:55Speaker 6: back just starts being a journeyman, a guy that I
- 1:27:59Speaker 6: can now I gotta find because I gave all the
- 1:28:02Speaker 6: money for the position to the quarterback, or he's a
- 1:28:08Speaker 6: recently drafted guy and I'm just gonna use I'm just
- 1:28:13Speaker 6: gonna use him until I can get through. That's really
- 1:28:17Speaker 6: what happens. It's the same in my mind, that is
- 1:28:20Speaker 6: what happened with ESPN. To hold on to the likes
- 1:28:24Speaker 6: of Steven eight and for the contract they are going
- 1:28:28Speaker 6: to be looking like they're going to give to Pat McAfee.
- 1:28:33Speaker 6: Then I can't carry the money that I was going
- 1:28:37Speaker 6: to play Ryan Clark or Cam Newton or Call Ravage
- 1:28:43Speaker 6: and those kind of guys. I gotta find the next
- 1:28:46Speaker 6: level down that I don't have that kind of power.
- 1:28:53Speaker 6: So about if Ryan Clark is in a position where
- 1:28:56Speaker 6: now I got to start paying him six seven eight
- 1:28:59Speaker 6: million a year, I gotta just flush that. Find a
- 1:29:02Speaker 6: more recent God, it might have been in the NFL.
- 1:29:05Speaker 6: Bark Scott was part of it as well. So some
- 1:29:08Speaker 6: of those long tendered heavyweight money guys now has to
- 1:29:11Speaker 6: be replaced by new guys that's into the industry that
- 1:29:16Speaker 6: I can afford.
- 1:29:17Speaker 8: Yeah, and then those part of it too, like the
- 1:29:23Speaker 8: they ESPN's partnered with NFL network. I don't know if
- 1:29:26Speaker 8: if it was the NFL network has a stake in
- 1:29:29Speaker 8: ESPN or it's the other way around. But with that
- 1:29:32Speaker 8: merger of sorts, now they have like two guys who
- 1:29:36Speaker 8: do the same thing as far as what the NFL
- 1:29:40Speaker 8: network already had, So like, well, one of these has
- 1:29:43Speaker 8: to go. So I think that was part of the
- 1:29:48Speaker 8: why they made those cuts too. They had to make
- 1:29:50Speaker 8: a choice or they you know, like you said, going
- 1:29:52Speaker 8: cheaper on, Well, we'll use this analyst and we won't
- 1:29:57Speaker 8: use the former players the analysts.
- 1:29:59Speaker 3: Yeah, still right over, just a good business model.
- 1:30:02Speaker 6: And fortunately with Ryan due to a leak is what
- 1:30:06Speaker 6: ESPN said, Uh, they had to fire him mid show
- 1:30:12Speaker 6: but also something came up earlier this year that people
- 1:30:16Speaker 6: started speculating, uh, that could have been what started him
- 1:30:22Speaker 6: being on the blacklist of people that needed to go
- 1:30:30Speaker 6: up this morning?
- 1:30:31Speaker 5: Are you feeling okay?
- 1:30:32Speaker 14: You look at AJ Brown, which is this number one
- 1:30:33Speaker 14: wide receiver who got one target all night and then
- 1:30:35Speaker 14: you got CD Lamb.
- 1:30:36Speaker 5: But that's the when was that's the target?
- 1:30:39Speaker 30: Was the one saying you could have way for seconds
- 1:30:42Speaker 30: nothing the game on second and eleven, it was the
- 1:30:44Speaker 30: one target.
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: He runs the wake up this morning.
- 1:30:47Speaker 3: They got out J Brown and had.
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: A better day than CD Lamb.
- 1:30:49Speaker 4: But you know, you know what to wake up saying?
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: No, AJ Brown's team is.
- 1:30:52Speaker 16: One and oh of course right like like that's what
- 1:30:54Speaker 16: I gain.
- 1:30:55Speaker 30: But the thing is this though, and and we shouldn't
- 1:30:59Speaker 30: do this on TV, And so I apologize that people
- 1:31:02Speaker 30: think this is drude, that's the non player.
- 1:31:05Speaker 5: Oh stop, that's no that.
- 1:31:08Speaker 4: Let me tell you why I'm not saying said that.
- 1:31:13Speaker 5: Some of them. Don't belittle me like that.
- 1:31:14Speaker 14: I could come in and say, as three ex players
- 1:31:16Speaker 14: are saying one thing and give an alternative perspective.
- 1:31:19Speaker 6: That is Ryan Clark on a panel a couple of
- 1:31:23Speaker 6: months ago that was week one of last season. Okay,
- 1:31:28Speaker 6: that was him explaining a situation.
- 1:31:32Speaker 3: On a panel.
- 1:31:33Speaker 6: Teddy Bruski was up there. The quarterback was his name.
- 1:31:37Speaker 6: I was up there as well. Their quarterback, dan Orlowski
- 1:31:42Speaker 6: was on that panel as well, and a reporter who
- 1:31:45Speaker 6: was giving his view of what happened. And that became
- 1:31:50Speaker 6: my question of all this big Kenny Kamanchi greg bad
- 1:31:52Speaker 6: producer when Ryan had to stop and kind of at
- 1:32:00Speaker 6: the record straight. And I'm defending Ryan in this point,
- 1:32:05Speaker 6: not just because we're in the same way we played
- 1:32:09Speaker 6: balling now in the media, it's where it seems that
- 1:32:14Speaker 6: by being the ex player and you start discussing things
- 1:32:20Speaker 6: with people who did not play, the people that did
- 1:32:26Speaker 6: not play seems to always need you to make them
- 1:32:31Speaker 6: feel like.
- 1:32:35Speaker 3: They did.
- 1:32:37Speaker 6: That what they are saying and how they are looking
- 1:32:40Speaker 6: at it is in some kind of way an official mindset.
- 1:32:45Speaker 6: And you heard Ryan say, I know we're not supposed
- 1:32:48Speaker 6: to do this, but that's the non player. So my
- 1:32:58Speaker 6: question is weak. And I asked about ten twelve people.
- 1:33:02Speaker 6: I wanted to know, why is it that the non
- 1:33:07Speaker 6: player gets offended when you remind it because you heard
- 1:33:14Speaker 6: the reporter say don't be little mean like that, Ryan,
- 1:33:22Speaker 6: so big, Kenny. Yes, I start with you, sir. Why
- 1:33:25Speaker 6: does the non player get offended like the reporter did
- 1:33:31Speaker 6: When Ryan stops to say, that's the non player.
- 1:33:38Speaker 5: Reasoning or thought process, and this is me speculating. I
- 1:33:44Speaker 5: would imagine that reporter took it as you belitterally me
- 1:33:50Speaker 5: because the established reality before we started is your ingredient
- 1:33:54Speaker 5: to the show is the former pro My ingredient to
- 1:33:58Speaker 5: the show is the castor who does color commentary or
- 1:34:03Speaker 5: whatever it is that I bring to the show. Now,
- 1:34:06Speaker 5: everything that I say is based on conjecture and speculation
- 1:34:13Speaker 5: because I've never put the helmet on.
- 1:34:15Speaker 3: We know that.
- 1:34:16Speaker 5: But just because my opinion is strong, just because my
- 1:34:20Speaker 5: opinion didn't agree with yours, you felt the need to
- 1:34:24Speaker 5: point out the obvious. You didn't point out the obvious
- 1:34:28Speaker 5: because I was errant in my reporting about the facts.
- 1:34:31Speaker 5: You pointed out the obvious because my perspective offended you
- 1:34:36Speaker 5: as a former player.
- 1:34:37Speaker 3: Now, your perspective did not offend me.
- 1:34:45Speaker 6: As I was listening to you explain to me, I
- 1:34:50Speaker 6: was educating you in the thought process. I was trying
- 1:34:54Speaker 6: to actually elevate you in your knowledge. I was trying
- 1:35:01Speaker 6: to elevate you in your knowledge that that's what you
- 1:35:04Speaker 6: would say.
- 1:35:05Speaker 3: And from the.
- 1:35:05Speaker 6: Stands, I thought you wanted to engage with me so
- 1:35:10Speaker 6: I can take you inside the helmet. So I'm gonna
- 1:35:15Speaker 6: stop you and say, yeah, whatever you're saying could be
- 1:35:17Speaker 6: one hundred percent right outside of the helmet. I'm trying
- 1:35:23Speaker 6: to because if you were open to listening to what
- 1:35:26Speaker 6: I have to say, I'm telling you that that is right.
- 1:35:29Speaker 6: That's the nun, that's someone who. But I'm telling you
- 1:35:34Speaker 6: this is what when you're in the helmet. But why
- 1:35:37Speaker 6: are you so offended that you think I'm belittling you
- 1:35:40Speaker 6: when I'm just trying to share with you, Comanchee that
- 1:35:45Speaker 6: you're a non player. That's the non player answered? Why
- 1:35:50Speaker 6: is that offensive?
- 1:35:54Speaker 8: It comes off as offensive because now you're saying that
- 1:35:59Speaker 8: I don't It still sounds like you're telling me I
- 1:36:03Speaker 8: don't know what I'm talking about, or that I don't understand,
- 1:36:08Speaker 8: that I don't understand the game. I don't understand a
- 1:36:11Speaker 8: player's perspective. And from what I what I've said from
- 1:36:16Speaker 8: a player's perspective, you, yeah, I may not know what
- 1:36:20Speaker 8: I'm talking about from your perspective but it's.
- 1:36:24Speaker 3: Still insulting to say that.
- 1:36:26Speaker 8: It's like all these things you're saying that I'm yeah,
- 1:36:30Speaker 8: I didn't play, so I don't understand. I'm not smart.
- 1:36:34Speaker 8: I shouldn't be on television, I shouldn't be on this panel.
- 1:36:39Speaker 8: And it could turn into all of those things. They
- 1:36:42Speaker 8: could extrapolate all those things from you saying that I'm
- 1:36:45Speaker 8: a non player, like why do you have to why
- 1:36:48Speaker 8: do you have.
- 1:36:48Speaker 6: To do that that producer? Why are you offended if
- 1:36:53Speaker 6: I point out that you're a non player. I find
- 1:36:55Speaker 6: myself in these positions all the time. Yeah you did,
- 1:36:58Speaker 6: I get it all the time, conversations. I found myself
- 1:37:01Speaker 6: this with I'm about with. I found myself in the
- 1:37:05Speaker 6: barbershop to where I had to just stop talking because
- 1:37:10Speaker 6: you have decided like the holiday Inn commercial, because you
- 1:37:14Speaker 6: stayed at a holiday inn and you're talking to me
- 1:37:19Speaker 6: as though, and I don't think that's what people get.
- 1:37:22Speaker 6: I'm hearing you as well, the way you're speaking on it,
- 1:37:28Speaker 6: And I imagine if I'm trying to tell childbirth to
- 1:37:31Speaker 6: a woman, I could be speaking in a way where
- 1:37:35Speaker 6: she might stop me like yeah, all that just one two,
- 1:37:40Speaker 6: three brief stuff that sounded cool at Lamar's class, So BADBADU.
- 1:37:49Speaker 3: Why are you getting offended?
- 1:37:51Speaker 7: I mean, as both of my colleagues alluded to, it
- 1:37:55Speaker 7: was a he was offended the fact that it was
- 1:37:59Speaker 7: put out there that I'm.
- 1:38:01Speaker 3: Gonna look like this authority.
- 1:38:03Speaker 7: But when you come behind me and say, well, you
- 1:38:08Speaker 7: know you got a little something right, but you didn't play.
- 1:38:10Speaker 7: I played, I actually played NFL. You might have played
- 1:38:13Speaker 7: high school, but that's as far as you went. I
- 1:38:15Speaker 7: played on past college NFL and it's a totally different game.
- 1:38:20Speaker 7: And you're you're not understanding. But ESPN has made you
- 1:38:25Speaker 7: the authority of and you're supposed to go along with me.
- 1:38:29Speaker 7: And so that was an ego thing in a sense
- 1:38:32Speaker 7: with the I think with that gentleman, even though he
- 1:38:35Speaker 7: know he didn't play.
- 1:38:36Speaker 3: I mean, and I can admit it, you and I
- 1:38:38Speaker 3: we go.
- 1:38:39Speaker 7: I mean, in the fifteen years to be doing this,
- 1:38:41Speaker 7: and it's not what before Jock had said to me Twitter,
- 1:38:45Speaker 7: you adn't play plass high school.
- 1:38:47Speaker 3: At some point you have to realize that.
- 1:38:49Speaker 7: And on the show I give him a hard time,
- 1:38:52Speaker 7: But really, when I tell anybody when we're over there
- 1:38:54Speaker 7: on Sundays, I shut up and listen because it's some
- 1:38:58Speaker 7: you can learn something.
- 1:38:59Speaker 3: And that's the thing about it.
- 1:39:01Speaker 7: If you want to be great, like you said, if
- 1:39:04Speaker 7: the reporter wants to be great, he should accept.
- 1:39:07Speaker 6: It that and went on and hold that thought. Vic Kenny,
- 1:39:10Speaker 6: we'll go to break. We'll be back back with more.

- 1:41:34Speaker 31: sing even very canny. Welcome back to the Spy Shock Show.
- 1:41:39Speaker 31: I'm the Sports Shock Wayne Candy. Good morning to you
- 1:41:43Speaker 31: once again. We left talking about Ryan Clark being let go.
- 1:41:47Speaker 31: Uh the speculation, I feel like it is probably numbers
- 1:41:51Speaker 31: crunching for ESPN because when you look at it, all
- 1:41:54Speaker 31: this heavy firing coincides with rumors of this huge contract
- 1:42:01Speaker 31: that ESPN is about to offer Pat McAfee. So could
- 1:42:07Speaker 31: be wrong, but those kind of things typically go together,
- 1:42:11Speaker 31: even when you watch in sports. But Ryan Clark speculated
- 1:42:16Speaker 31: some of it might have started as Comanche. Greg pointed
- 1:42:20Speaker 31: out something that about a year ago during Week one
- 1:42:25Speaker 31: where Ryan Clark on a panel It's three former players
- 1:42:29Speaker 31: of the NFL and one reporter discussing the outcome of
- 1:42:35Speaker 31: two receivers AJ Brown CD lamb Ryan cautioning or pausing
- 1:42:43Speaker 31: the reporter to remind him, as he even apologized beforehand,
- 1:42:48Speaker 31: which means that he's very conscientious that this is something
- 1:42:53Speaker 31: people doesn't like to hear. And that is that you
- 1:43:00Speaker 31: that's the non player as if I can remember correctly,
- 1:43:04Speaker 31: that's how he stated, that's the non player view to
- 1:43:07Speaker 31: the reporter. The reporter felt like Brian said that and
- 1:43:11Speaker 31: belittled him. It touched on something that happens in my.
- 1:43:17Speaker 5: World a lot.
- 1:43:18Speaker 6: When we start talking about athletics, being an athlete, being
- 1:43:22Speaker 6: a pro athlete, and being a former football player. As
- 1:43:27Speaker 6: I have said, people start trying to imagine that by
- 1:43:33Speaker 6: cause they listen to color analysts or played in high
- 1:43:40Speaker 6: school or whatever level and stop giving credence to who
- 1:43:49Speaker 6: and what they're engaging with. Its simple, as most people
- 1:43:54Speaker 6: have a high school diploma. Ryan Clark has a doctorate
- 1:44:04Speaker 6: degree in football, So how long does the person with
- 1:44:10Speaker 6: the doctorate, which is, as I remember, the highest degree
- 1:44:13Speaker 6: you can get an education, supposed to debate with the
- 1:44:18Speaker 6: high school diploma. And my biggest thing is why do
- 1:44:26Speaker 6: you get offended if I actually how I'm speaking crosses
- 1:44:34Speaker 6: the line in your eyes? Of I need to remind you,
- 1:44:43Speaker 6: why does people get that you're not what you're speculating about?
- 1:44:51Speaker 6: Because people, and it's the last thing I'll let you talk,
- 1:44:53Speaker 6: Big Kenny, I was trying to get people to understand
- 1:45:00Speaker 6: opinions are from people who actually are it. So Big
- 1:45:06Speaker 6: Kenny is a comedian. Another another comedian can give an
- 1:45:13Speaker 6: opinion on something a non comedian like myself is speculating.
- 1:45:24Speaker 6: Doctors call other doctors for opinions. If they call me
- 1:45:31Speaker 6: as a friend about brain surgery, I would just be speculating.
- 1:45:35Speaker 6: I can't give him an opinion because I ain't even
- 1:45:38Speaker 6: in my field. You're just speculating. That's that thing line.
- 1:45:45Speaker 6: The difference between an opinion and speculation. Speculation is what
- 1:45:51Speaker 6: drives the word spectator. What would be how do you
- 1:45:58Speaker 6: have an opinion of something that you don't actually even do.
- 1:46:02Speaker 6: You can speculate, but since you don't do it, how
- 1:46:05Speaker 6: is that your opinion?
- 1:46:10Speaker 5: As it relates specifically to the Ryan Clark situation and
- 1:46:14Speaker 5: in situations in general, I think that sometimes when we
- 1:46:18Speaker 5: talk about a broadcaster becoming offended, is the established reality
- 1:46:23Speaker 5: is that whatever credentials that reporter had qualified them to
- 1:46:28Speaker 5: sit on the panel with Ryan Clark, that's the established
- 1:46:31Speaker 5: re No, it's not, well, I'm saying that's the that's
- 1:46:35Speaker 5: the situation.
- 1:46:37Speaker 6: It allowed you. It allowed you to have a position
- 1:46:40Speaker 6: on a panel. It didn't get you a position on
- 1:46:43Speaker 6: a panel to sit and discuss. Now, that's what ESP
- 1:46:49Speaker 6: hired us. That's why they hired you as the play
- 1:46:51Speaker 6: for play and they hired me as the color analyst,
- 1:46:55Speaker 6: and we have I'm saying we have two different role
- 1:46:59Speaker 6: I'm not gonna let you fit is on something that.
- 1:47:00Speaker 4: Is not true.
- 1:47:02Speaker 5: No, I'm saying you hired. You hired a panel. ESPN
- 1:47:06Speaker 5: thought that the panel needed you, the panel needed me. Now,
- 1:47:12Speaker 5: when we start debating, the thing that you say is
- 1:47:17Speaker 5: I'm a non player. Now on this panel, we don't
- 1:47:20Speaker 5: just talk football. We talk passionately about a myriad of
- 1:47:24Speaker 5: other sports sports that you never played professionally. But when
- 1:47:27Speaker 5: we get to that, the Ryan Clarks go, but I'm
- 1:47:30Speaker 5: a professional athlete. That still speculation about soccer baseball. Why
- 1:47:36Speaker 5: is it you've never played baseball professionally, but I have
- 1:47:39Speaker 5: been a athlete. I'm a professional Athlete's apples and orange
- 1:47:45Speaker 5: and see that's where we game orange. But if a
- 1:47:47Speaker 5: baseball player tell you you don't know out, you've never
- 1:47:53Speaker 5: been on the goal line, it's the same pressure. Two
- 1:47:57Speaker 5: minutes on the club in the bottom of the ninth
- 1:48:00Speaker 5: are the same pressure. I'm talking about the pressure. I'm
- 1:48:04Speaker 5: talking about tea box. I'm talking I got a one shows,
- 1:48:08Speaker 5: I've been there. I'm telling you about the professional sports,
- 1:48:11Speaker 5: But you don't show.
- 1:48:12Speaker 3: You don't know anything.
- 1:48:14Speaker 1: About time you was a love.
- 1:48:15Speaker 5: You don't know anything talking about sports, You just talking.
- 1:48:18Speaker 5: You don't know anything. You just talked about pressure, and
- 1:48:21Speaker 5: I know you don't know no kind of pressure on
- 1:48:24Speaker 5: the football for you don't know about the people in
- 1:48:27Speaker 5: front of you on the foot on the TV.
- 1:48:30Speaker 4: Yes, I haven't got nothing to do with the camera, sir.
- 1:48:32Speaker 5: And I'm telling me in your profession, you've never been
- 1:48:35Speaker 5: in mind, you've never been a comedian.
- 1:48:37Speaker 3: I've been.
- 1:48:38Speaker 4: I tell jokes every every Friday.
- 1:48:40Speaker 3: Not as a comedian. Yes, I do nothing. I'm funny now.
- 1:48:44Speaker 4: They don't never question your speed.
- 1:48:46Speaker 3: They can't. Did you ever lost something?
- 1:48:50Speaker 4: But I sit on this shoe over you and you
- 1:48:52Speaker 4: sitting there you.
- 1:48:53Speaker 5: I let you have a speculation because I asked you
- 1:48:57Speaker 5: your opinion.
- 1:48:58Speaker 3: And your authority and joy things that are true.
- 1:49:01Speaker 5: You're not a baseball player, Yes, I owe everything that.
- 1:49:04Speaker 3: You think, sir. You're not.
- 1:49:07Speaker 5: You can give you an opinion on baseball as you're
- 1:49:11Speaker 5: speculating on everything.
- 1:49:13Speaker 3: No, no, yes, you all no, No, everything you.
- 1:49:16Speaker 5: Talk about about this is the propulation, just the pros
- 1:49:21Speaker 5: because we have to have some kind of comedic relief, Sir.
- 1:49:26Speaker 5: When we talk about, you're not a necessary part when
- 1:49:30Speaker 5: we show about me and foot from Harder does not
- 1:49:34Speaker 5: have to be up there. And as a baseball you
- 1:49:38Speaker 5: don't know it's your son to talk to somebody that
- 1:49:42Speaker 5: didn't play sports, but you don't talk my son to
- 1:49:46Speaker 5: play sports, to talk to somebody who knows about pressure.
- 1:49:50Speaker 5: He don't have to be here the picture training the
- 1:49:54Speaker 5: guy who's training here for nothing, the son that's training
- 1:49:58Speaker 5: to be in baseball, don't come till you. You don't
- 1:50:02Speaker 5: know baseball, and you are a non comedian that don't
- 1:50:05Speaker 5: know anything about sports.
- 1:50:08Speaker 3: You don't know baseball. Oh I do you've hit a
- 1:50:11Speaker 3: home played?
- 1:50:12Speaker 20: Yes?
- 1:50:13Speaker 3: I have professionally, No, I've hit.
- 1:50:17Speaker 4: It's equivalently never hit a run.
- 1:50:19Speaker 6: I have a I have a that I just said.
- 1:50:22Speaker 6: I have a high school diploma in baseball. I have
- 1:50:29Speaker 6: a doctorate in being a professional athlete. But when you
- 1:50:33Speaker 6: talk to him about a baseball player, I would listen.
- 1:50:40Speaker 3: That's what we're talking about.
- 1:50:42Speaker 4: And people being on you talking about.
- 1:50:48Speaker 5: Talking about not when you're listening, when you're talking about
- 1:50:51Speaker 5: baseball talking talk level. You ever told me I talk
- 1:50:56Speaker 5: about the athlete, sir, I'm true Again, I don't talk
- 1:51:04Speaker 5: about how he kicked the ball. I talk about living
- 1:51:08Speaker 5: in the moment right.
- 1:51:10Speaker 17: Not how you kick.
- 1:51:11Speaker 6: I don't know the technique of kicking. I do know
- 1:51:15Speaker 6: the pressure of having to go back to back and
- 1:51:18Speaker 6: do it again. I don't talk about the game winning shot.
- 1:51:24Speaker 6: I talk about the pressure of.
- 1:51:26Speaker 5: Living where everybody is looking for you to deliver and
- 1:51:30Speaker 5: that man can't speak on his right.
- 1:51:32Speaker 3: Were you drafted in? See and then we go? There
- 1:51:35Speaker 3: we go.
- 1:51:35Speaker 5: I can't talk about pressure because I didn't play sports.
- 1:51:38Speaker 5: You haven't done anything to even legitimis being here. You're
- 1:51:42Speaker 5: not even a sports reporter. You ain't a coach, you're
- 1:51:45Speaker 5: not a GM. But we'll be back, and I'm an expert.
- 1:51:53Speaker 5: I got a d in comedy. You can't get no
- 1:51:55Speaker 5: hiatt than that. Yeah you can no, no, no, you can't.
- 1:52:10Speaker 5: Don't go away or of the sports. Josh Show with
- 1:52:13Speaker 5: Wayne Gandy is coming up next.
- 1:52:18Speaker 11: When I smoke, we I get lost in the music.
- 1:52:21Speaker 11: I'd like to isolate each instrument, the rhythmic bags, the
- 1:52:25Speaker 11: harmonies on the piano with sticky melody.
- 1:52:32Speaker 20: He careful bad, there's someone crossing the streets.
- 1:52:35Speaker 5: Sorry I didn't see it.
- 1:52:37Speaker 3: If you feel different, you drive different, don't drive high.
- 1:52:41Speaker 3: It's dangerous and illegal everywhere unless it's from NIZA and
- 1:52:45Speaker 3: the AD Council.
- 1:52:48Speaker 4: And now back to the sports John Wayne Gandy.
- 1:52:54Speaker 3: It's time for the school more.
- 1:52:56Speaker 2: When we put a spin on light and sports and
- 1:52:59Speaker 2: how they jam on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Dandy.
- 1:53:07Speaker 24: Anybody that's ready to get ladies know who to get
- 1:53:11Speaker 24: him at.
- 1:53:13Speaker 3: If you're rolling with me smurd of.
- 1:53:18Speaker 24: Anybody that's ready to get down lady, know who to
- 1:53:21Speaker 24: get him at home?
- 1:53:23Speaker 3: If you roll with smurd up, did you dealing with yall?
- 1:53:28Speaker 4: Now?
- 1:53:28Speaker 3: Welcome back to the Sports Shock Show.
- 1:53:30Speaker 6: I'm the Sports Shock Dayne can t a lot of
- 1:53:33Speaker 6: people calling for the NFL maybe to try the four
- 1:53:36Speaker 6: point play.
- 1:53:38Speaker 3: I wish the UFL is that correct? Command you Greg? Yeah? Uh,
- 1:53:44Speaker 3: sixty yards or longer? It is worth four points.
- 1:53:49Speaker 5: Is that something that you would like to see or
- 1:53:53Speaker 5: is that something you were sitting home thinking? Man, the
- 1:53:55Speaker 5: game is missing the four punt kick.
- 1:53:59Speaker 3: There.
- 1:54:00Speaker 8: There's so many gimmicks that I don't care for that
- 1:54:03Speaker 8: the UFL is doing. After a touchdown you can get
- 1:54:08Speaker 8: you go for one, two or three. You want to
- 1:54:10Speaker 8: go for a three point conversion? You gotta it's you
- 1:54:15Speaker 8: get one play from the ten yard line, two points
- 1:54:18Speaker 8: is from the five, and I think one is from
- 1:54:22Speaker 8: the two or something like that. There there's so many
- 1:54:27Speaker 8: gimmicks it doesn't even feel like. It doesn't feel like
- 1:54:29Speaker 8: real football or the UFL.
- 1:54:31Speaker 3: I don't care. Yeah, it's not something I've ever thought.
- 1:54:34Speaker 6: I think, Yeah, when they move the field goal back
- 1:54:40Speaker 6: like they did for the extra point, for the extra point,
- 1:54:42Speaker 6: that was enough intrigue for me to have down there.
- 1:54:47Speaker 5: It's because beyond sixty yards, it's four points. Is there
- 1:54:53Speaker 5: anything else? It has to be a pass? Can you run?
- 1:54:56Speaker 3: That's a kick, that's the that's a kick. That's a
- 1:54:58Speaker 3: field goal.
- 1:54:59Speaker 5: A field goal beyond sixty yards, it's okay that But
- 1:55:03Speaker 5: they do that now, like almost regularly in the NFL,
- 1:55:06Speaker 5: don't they. Yeah, they're closing, but I don't.
- 1:55:11Speaker 7: I don't think they should raise the point. I mean
- 1:55:13Speaker 7: pretty soon then you're gonna say, uh, basketball and half
- 1:55:16Speaker 7: court should be worth something more.
- 1:55:19Speaker 3: So it's just been talked about for years. I mean,
- 1:55:21Speaker 3: but it's not. I don't think it should be. It's
- 1:55:26Speaker 3: a reward.
- 1:55:26Speaker 7: Everybody can't kick sixty yards if that's if everybody's starting
- 1:55:30Speaker 7: to kick sixty yards.
- 1:55:32Speaker 3: We're gonna start testing.
- 1:55:36Speaker 5: Or they'll just start finding a guy that football the football.
- 1:55:40Speaker 5: Something's going with the football. They're gonna say, oh, they're
- 1:55:42Speaker 5: doing something with the footballs.
- 1:55:43Speaker 6: The Spanish league players have been a couple of them
- 1:55:49Speaker 6: have been paid as a bonus for winning the World
- 1:55:53Speaker 6: Cup and tomatoes their body weight in tomatoes. But I
- 1:56:03Speaker 6: couldn't figure out do I get all this one hundred
- 1:56:05Speaker 6: and twenty thirty fifty whatever pounds of tomatoes at once
- 1:56:11Speaker 6: or you saying I get to spread this.
- 1:56:14Speaker 7: They're gonna get bad if you get them all at once,
- 1:56:15Speaker 7: So we gotta spread them out unless I'm gonna give
- 1:56:17Speaker 7: them to the community all at once.
- 1:56:19Speaker 5: But is this an endorsement deal? Who signed up? How
- 1:56:24Speaker 5: we get this?
- 1:56:25Speaker 3: Because it's not a team? Why?
- 1:56:26Speaker 7: I mean, that's probably something that they've had in place
- 1:56:29Speaker 7: for years, food or not just money. There's probably other
- 1:56:32Speaker 7: resources that if you win gold medals or World Cup
- 1:56:35Speaker 7: or Olympic thing, there's different things. Probably probably get a cow.
- 1:56:39Speaker 7: They probably even a met bull or.
- 1:56:41Speaker 3: Something, one of the bulls that run with the bulls
- 1:56:45Speaker 3: down there. Hey kill me someone?
- 1:56:47Speaker 5: What because the Cowboys they didn't say the whole team
- 1:56:51Speaker 5: got it, just a few members, so maybe we give
- 1:56:53Speaker 5: them to the rest of the team.
- 1:56:54Speaker 3: If you had a vegetable fruit that you wanted to
- 1:57:00Speaker 3: get paid in, what would it be?
- 1:57:03Speaker 5: Oranges? Your body weighting oranges? Come match you, Greg, grapes grapes? Okay,
- 1:57:12Speaker 5: Big Kenny, avocado.
- 1:57:15Speaker 3: Each will see he's selling Greg, Greg Togan.
- 1:57:24Speaker 5: You said he's what, No, Greg, he had a toga
- 1:57:26Speaker 5: party his grapes.
- 1:57:28Speaker 3: With grapes Nolan Wells. The investigation was.
- 1:57:35Speaker 6: Reported the independent autopsy UH inconclusive. I guess it's how
- 1:57:41Speaker 6: you would sum it up in a sense that in
- 1:57:45Speaker 6: this story, the Nolan Wells family wanted the independent and
- 1:57:50Speaker 6: this is the young football player on the fourth of
- 1:57:53Speaker 6: July went missing. H later was found dead in the
- 1:57:58Speaker 6: beach water somewhere and there. The family wanted an independent.
- 1:58:03Speaker 6: Now the official autopsy has not been reported. The family
- 1:58:07Speaker 6: wanted an independent. I guess similar to what was speculated
- 1:58:13Speaker 6: at first glance when it said it didn't seem like
- 1:58:18Speaker 6: it was a foul play anywhere in there is the
- 1:58:25Speaker 6: same thing that their report. I think maybe that foul
- 1:58:28Speaker 6: play when I hear that I mentioned it. I know
- 1:58:31Speaker 6: they being emotional could hear it in one way. Always
- 1:58:35Speaker 6: hear that in cases where it means that when we
- 1:58:40Speaker 6: got in the room and for some reason it triggered
- 1:58:43Speaker 6: the kid that used to play or the man excuse
- 1:58:45Speaker 6: me for the Tampa Bay Bucks. When they found him
- 1:58:48Speaker 6: in the hotel room receiver Jack and I remember they
- 1:58:53Speaker 6: said it didn't seem like foul play. That doesn't mean
- 1:58:57Speaker 6: that down the road I can't find something. It just
- 1:58:59Speaker 6: means at this moment, at this moment, I didn't see
- 1:59:02Speaker 6: a gun moon, I didn't see a stab, you know,
- 1:59:04Speaker 6: something like that. He wasn't in there tied down to something.
- 1:59:10Speaker 6: So when I hear that, I always hear that it's
- 1:59:12Speaker 6: a more of an accident or something self inflicted kind
- 1:59:16Speaker 6: of situation. That means the next thing I'm gonna here
- 1:59:19Speaker 6: is maybe Vincent Odeede or you know, something along those
- 1:59:24Speaker 6: they had a heart attack. It kind of takes out
- 1:59:26Speaker 6: that we can't right now see that anybody physically hurt.
- 1:59:33Speaker 6: Everything would just be something more that we would have
- 1:59:36Speaker 6: to have an assume the body. So in Nolan Wells case,
- 1:59:42Speaker 6: the family now wants to move on to assuming the organs,
- 1:59:47Speaker 6: which would be the next step if nobody is able
- 1:59:52Speaker 6: to come up and give them a detailed framework.
- 1:59:55Speaker 3: Of how he passed away and we all in the ocean.
- 2:00:03Speaker 3: The truth is he will throw your in the ocean.
- 2:00:06Speaker 4: It's time to wrap things up.
- 2:00:09Speaker 2: On the Sports Judge Show.
- 2:00:11Speaker 6: With Wayne Candy, Well, you're the sounds of the ocean.

- 2:01:04Speaker 3: The World Cup is in the book.
- 2:01:05Speaker 6: We just talked about the Spanish team, some players getting
- 2:01:08Speaker 6: paid their weight into made ohs.
- 2:01:12Speaker 4: But what the World Cup.
- 2:01:13Speaker 3: Did bring us is a true vision of what flopping
- 2:01:21Speaker 3: looks like.
- 2:01:23Speaker 6: It was like every match, anytime somebody feil, you would
- 2:01:27Speaker 6: have thought they had been hit with a sniper bullet.
- 2:01:31Speaker 6: Every time it is the smallest infraction since the guy
- 2:01:36Speaker 6: down onto the ground and you think he's never going
- 2:01:40Speaker 6: to get up, right, he can't get up, only to
- 2:01:45Speaker 6: get up and make the next goal or make the
- 2:01:49Speaker 6: next block.
- 2:01:50Speaker 3: I didn't know they flopped so much in soccer. The
- 2:01:59Speaker 3: acting is real and suck. So for all the flopping
- 2:02:05Speaker 3: from the World Cup, wuck the plank.
- 2:02:18Speaker 5: They don't have a penalty like they do in NBA.
- 2:02:22Speaker 3: Oh no, oh no, okay.
- 2:02:25Speaker 6: From the Spots Shock Show. As we say on Thursday,
- 2:02:28Speaker 6: we'll see you in the future. Have a good weekend.
- 2:02:31Speaker 3: Peace,
