- 0:00Speaker 1: Mark Simo, the issues you really care about on seven
- 0:04Speaker 1: ten wor.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Hey, we'll get to Crazy Caddey Hoko, Crazy Mayor Mom, Donnie,
- 0:12Speaker 2: and a whole lot more coming up. It's it's spring now.
- 0:16Speaker 2: It officially began about twenty five minutes ago. We're now
- 0:19Speaker 2: in the spring. Hey, today's the birthday of Baron Trump.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Baron Trump is twenty years old today, future president. Now.
- 0:29Speaker 2: You know a lot of people thought, well, maybe Don
- 0:32Speaker 2: Junior will run one day, maybe Eric Treman. Now everybody
- 0:36Speaker 2: thinks it's Baron. Baron is the Michael corleone of this deal,
- 0:39Speaker 2: you know, the one that the younger one you thought
- 0:42Speaker 2: wasn't going to get involved in the family. But Baron
- 0:46Speaker 2: is a super smart kid. Baron is turns out he's tough, shrewd, smart.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Everyone thinks he will be president one day. But he's
- 0:54Speaker 2: twenty years old today. Now let's go back twenty years.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Baron is a Millennia give birth to Baron. Donald Trump
- 1:02Speaker 2: calls into this show from the hospital. Let's take a listen,
- 1:06Speaker 2: Donald Trump, how are you.
- 1:07Speaker 3: I'm Mark Hey, Always great to talk to you. You've
- 1:09Speaker 3: been a friend for a long time, Mark, So that's.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Good and congratulations a new baby.
- 1:14Speaker 3: Well, that's true. We have a beautiful baby, healthy and
- 1:17Speaker 3: going to be brought home from the hospital very shortly. Actually.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Now, I love the name Baron, and I love Baron Hilton.
- 1:23Speaker 2: I assume he had something to do with that name.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Well, Baron Hilton is a friend of mine. Also, I
- 1:27Speaker 3: don't even know if it's the same spelling, but Baron
- 1:29Speaker 3: Hilton is a friend of mine. He's a great guy.
- 1:31Speaker 2: He's a wonderful guy. And the only guy I ever
- 1:33Speaker 2: knew named Baron. And it was a what a great name,
- 1:35Speaker 2: what a distinctive name?
- 1:36Speaker 3: Is Baron's a little bit more common than that. I
- 1:39Speaker 3: mean I know a few people named Baron actually, but
- 1:41Speaker 3: it's I like it. Yeah. I was going to name Eric,
- 1:44Speaker 3: my other son, my last son. I was going to
- 1:46Speaker 3: name Eric Baron. Huh, But I didn't quite have the
- 1:49Speaker 3: courage because it is a little bit out there. But
- 1:52Speaker 3: you know, it's it's been it's been great. I think.
- 1:55Speaker 3: I think it's really been playing very well. And I
- 1:57Speaker 3: like it more importantly, and Millennia likes that.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Yeah, no, very good. Twenty years ago today, twenty years ago,
- 2:04Speaker 2: Baron Trump was born. But keep an eye on him.
- 2:07Speaker 2: He's you know, he's in school right now, NYU. But
- 2:12Speaker 2: who knows where he's going to go. And a lot
- 2:13Speaker 2: of people think he will be president of the United
- 2:16Speaker 2: States thirty thirty years from now. As she said, well
- 2:19Speaker 2: a lot to accomplish in the next thirty years. Now,
- 2:23Speaker 2: some of these politicians. We have this crazy Kathy hkl
- 2:27Speaker 2: who is just a whack job. Doesn't know what the
- 2:32Speaker 2: hell to say anymore so, and she's like a weatherbange,
- 2:35Speaker 2: just keeps spinning around whatever way the wind is blowing.
- 2:39Speaker 2: So a lot of people moved to Florida because of
- 2:41Speaker 2: the taxes here, that sort of stuff. You know, she
- 2:45Speaker 2: was yelling and screaming that she was going to tax
- 2:47Speaker 2: all the billionaires, tax all the wealthy, tax everybody. A
- 2:50Speaker 2: lot of people moved away. She wants everybody back.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Now.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Now remember this was twenty twenty two, four years ago.
- 2:57Speaker 2: She's telling everybody to leave. If you're a Trumps, if
- 3:00Speaker 2: you're a billionaire, if you're a Republican, get the hell out.
- 3:03Speaker 2: She actually said it.
- 3:04Speaker 4: And we're here to say that the era of Trump
- 3:10Speaker 4: and Zelden and moln Arrow. Just jump on a bus
- 3:13Speaker 4: and head down to Florida where you belong. Okay, get
- 3:16Speaker 4: out of town. Get out of town because you don't
- 3:20Speaker 4: represent our values. You are not New Yorkers.
- 3:26Speaker 2: You're a governor tell half her state to leave. How
- 3:30Speaker 2: stupid do you have to be to actually say something
- 3:32Speaker 2: like that? What is wrong with you to say you're
- 3:36Speaker 2: telling half the state to leave. So a lot of
- 3:39Speaker 2: them did go to Florida, and the economy of Florida
- 3:41Speaker 2: is booming. They have no taxes, there's no state tax.
- 3:45Speaker 2: The economy is actually booming. They have no state tax.
- 3:49Speaker 2: They take in more revenue than we do. Their budget
- 3:52Speaker 2: is half of ours, even though it's a bigger state.
- 3:56Speaker 2: So that's four years ago. Now look at her now.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Now she's asking them to come back. I guess somewhere
- 4:04Speaker 2: she's amazingly stupid, but not totally stupid, because she realizes
- 4:08Speaker 2: she needs these people back. If you tell them to leave,
- 4:11Speaker 2: that's your tax base, that's your main revenue source. If
- 4:15Speaker 2: they leave. Billionaires pay all the taxes. You know, the
- 4:18Speaker 2: top one percent pays like forty six percent of the taxes.
- 4:22Speaker 2: So she's asking them now to come back total reverse.
- 4:24Speaker 4: So maybe the first step should be go down to
- 4:26Speaker 4: Palm Beach and see who you can bring back home
- 4:29Speaker 4: because our tax base has been eroded. So I philo
- 4:32Speaker 4: sophically don't have a problem. It is like I have
- 4:34Speaker 4: to look at the fact that we are in competition
- 4:36Speaker 4: with other states who have less of a tax burden
- 4:40Speaker 4: on their corporations and their individuals, and I would say
- 4:43Speaker 4: remote work changed everything. There are people who could only
- 4:47Speaker 4: work in an office in Manhattan and work in New
- 4:49Speaker 4: York State, and they were captives to our state. They
- 4:51Speaker 4: were going to state. We saw that that's not the case.
- 4:54Speaker 4: I mean, you know, Wall Street businesses looking at Texas.
- 4:59Speaker 4: They're not going there cause they have a nicer governor.
- 5:01Speaker 4: I know that for sure, But they're going there because
- 5:03Speaker 4: of the tax. Right, we have to be smart about this.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Yeah, they're not going there for a nicer governor. She's right.
- 5:09Speaker 2: You know, DeSantis not the nicest guy in the world,
- 5:12Speaker 2: but he's a brilliant governor. He's an excellent governor. Greg Gabbott,
- 5:15Speaker 2: he's a nice guy, but he's a brilliant governor. And
- 5:18Speaker 2: these guys got rid of the state tax. They get
- 5:20Speaker 2: rid of a lot of that crap, and the state booms,
- 5:23Speaker 2: The economy booms. Businesses move in, billionaires move in, and
- 5:27Speaker 2: you're making a fortune there. So she's admitting she's wrong.
- 5:31Speaker 2: She's actually admitting she was a total idiot four years
- 5:35Speaker 2: ago to say those things. And she's admitting they lost
- 5:38Speaker 2: a lot of the tax base. So now, Mom, Donnie,
- 5:43Speaker 2: I think you had to wait about fifty years for
- 5:45Speaker 2: him to figure this out. Mom, Donnie doesn't know what
- 5:47Speaker 2: the hell is going on. Totally useless and totally naive.
- 5:54Speaker 2: He's never had a job before. He's basically just a
- 5:56Speaker 2: student out of college. This is his first job mayor
- 5:59Speaker 2: of New York and just driving everybody nuts. We have
- 6:05Speaker 2: a budget that's double what it should be. It's double
- 6:08Speaker 2: the amount it should be. Just cut the budget in
- 6:10Speaker 2: half and everything is fine. But can't cut anything. It's
- 6:15Speaker 2: all waste, fraud, bloat, favors. It's just political payback for people.
- 6:22Speaker 2: So he keeps scheming and scheming and scheming more taxes, more,
- 6:27Speaker 2: the congestion pricing type of stuff. Now they want to
- 6:29Speaker 2: put speed cameras everywhere and ticket you every time you
- 6:32Speaker 2: go any place. These speed cameras are absolutely ridiculous.
- 6:36Speaker 1: It is a goal of our administration to lower the
- 6:38Speaker 1: speed limit across the city to twenty miles an hour. That, however,
- 6:42Speaker 1: is something that can only be done with a local
- 6:45Speaker 1: law change to the city administrative Code, and we do
- 6:49Speaker 1: support the City council taking those efforts.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Yeah. Now, the good news is the city council speaker
- 6:56Speaker 2: Julie Mennon, who is a common since she's a Democrat,
- 7:00Speaker 2: the little left wing but common sense, and I don't
- 7:03Speaker 2: think she'll do it. He's talking about fifteen miles an
- 7:06Speaker 2: hour speed limit fifteen. You can't drive fifteen miles an hour.
- 7:09Speaker 2: It's impossible, it can't be done. So he keeps pushing
- 7:14Speaker 2: this stuff. She doesn't get it done, hopefully, Mom, Donnie
- 7:18Speaker 2: just hobbles along for the next four years, getting nothing done,
- 7:21Speaker 2: just talking, which is all he ever did, just talk
- 7:24Speaker 2: his crazy wife. You know, Mom, Donnie very anti Semitic,
- 7:29Speaker 2: anti a lot of stuff, but his wife really anti
- 7:32Speaker 2: Semitic and has a bad, bad history. On Twitter on
- 7:37Speaker 2: x people would post stuff about October seventh, the genocide,
- 7:42Speaker 2: the killing of Jews, the raping, the killing, the babies,
- 7:45Speaker 2: and she'd click like on it multiple times. October seventh stuff,
- 7:51Speaker 2: the ugly holocaust of October seventh. She's clicking like on
- 7:54Speaker 2: all these posts. Horrifying, absolutely horrifying. She's getting the lot
- 8:00Speaker 2: of phlak. Her name is a Rama Douagie. She's been
- 8:04Speaker 2: in hiding. She doesn't come out, but everybody noticed that
- 8:08Speaker 2: yesterday she deleted her old Twitter account, her old ex account.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Instead of deleting the bad posts, she deleted the whole
- 8:14Speaker 2: account because the whole thing was bad posts. It was
- 8:18Speaker 2: all bad, really bad, ugly stuff. Hey, that wacko. Joe Kent,
- 8:23Speaker 2: he's the guy that was the counterintelligence national. They give
- 8:27Speaker 2: him these big titles in the swamp. Joe Kent, National Counterintelligence,
- 8:31Speaker 2: Director of Intelligence counter this counter that who resigned and
- 8:35Speaker 2: he said the Iran war is ridiculous. No, was no threat.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Now the real reason he resigned is he's under investigation
- 8:44Speaker 2: for leaking classified information. This guy will probably end up
- 8:48Speaker 2: in jail. The investigation has been going on for months
- 8:52Speaker 2: and it was heating up, and that's one reason he
- 8:54Speaker 2: resigned to get all this attention. So he becomes some
- 8:57Speaker 2: sort of martyr when they go after him in court.
- 9:01Speaker 2: But he's a real just something really wrong with this guy.
- 9:06Speaker 2: First of all, he's been saying for many years that
- 9:08Speaker 2: we have to go after Iran is a threat. Now
- 9:11Speaker 2: he's claiming the opposite. He goes on the Tucker Carlson
- 9:15Speaker 2: podcast of all places and starts going into this anti
- 9:19Speaker 2: Semitic nonsense, crazy wacko conspiracy stuff with Tucker Carlson, perfect
- 9:26Speaker 2: place for it, perfect setting for it, and he says
- 9:29Speaker 2: Israel is behind Charlie Kirk's assassination. Yeah, somehow Israel he
- 9:35Speaker 2: believes was behind Charlie Kirk's assassination. Thinks it's a strong possibility. Again,
- 9:40Speaker 2: just anti Semitic nonsense. That's Joe Kent. Hey. You know,
- 9:45Speaker 2: the Save Act is just simple logic, common sense. It
- 9:48Speaker 2: would mean enforce the law. The law is you got
- 9:51Speaker 2: to be an American citizen to vote in an American election,
- 9:55Speaker 2: and you show your ID, your driver's license, your photo ID,
- 10:00Speaker 2: and you go vote. It's done all the time. If
- 10:05Speaker 2: you want to buy anything, anything anywhere, you got to
- 10:09Speaker 2: show photo ID. In a drug store, to get a
- 10:11Speaker 2: prescription medicine, to enter an office building, you got to
- 10:16Speaker 2: show photo ID everything everywhere you turn. Everybody has a
- 10:19Speaker 2: photo ID. Everybody needs to show it every day of
- 10:23Speaker 2: their life somewhere. So Democrats don't want that because if
- 10:27Speaker 2: you don't have to show ID, then anybody can vote.
- 10:29Speaker 2: They can get illegal aliens to vote, they can get
- 10:33Speaker 2: people to vote twice, they can get the non citizens
- 10:36Speaker 2: to vote. It can happen. And that's the reason you
- 10:39Speaker 2: do the Save Acts. Perfect common sense. Anybody with any
- 10:42Speaker 2: logic of common sense would be for it. Democrats are
- 10:45Speaker 2: opposing it. The only reason you would oppose it if
- 10:48Speaker 2: you want to make sure that non citizens can vote.
- 10:52Speaker 2: And that's where you get Schumer and all these wackos.
- 10:54Speaker 2: But Schumer yesterday's yelling and screaming about it, and he said, yeah, well,
- 11:01Speaker 2: what about the illegals voting goes, well, almost no non
- 11:03Speaker 2: citizens vote, Almost no illegals vote. That's their argument that
- 11:08Speaker 2: it happens in small numbers, not enough to affect the election.
- 11:11Speaker 2: But everybody pointing out he just admitted it happens. If
- 11:16Speaker 2: almost no illegals vote, that means some illegals are voting,
- 11:19Speaker 2: so you got to stop that. Then the other Democratic idiot, Warnock,
- 11:23Speaker 2: he's talking about Georgia, his state, and he said, well,
- 11:26Speaker 2: we only found twenty cases of illegals voting. Well, if
- 11:29Speaker 2: you only found twenty, that means it's probably a few hundred.
- 11:32Speaker 2: But it shouldn't happen. There's no excuse for this kind
- 11:35Speaker 2: of stuff. So they're actually admitting. Now their argument is, well,
- 11:39Speaker 2: it happens just in a small way, but they're admitting
- 11:42Speaker 2: it does happen, So you need the save Act. Hey,
- 11:45Speaker 2: we're talking about Governor of Arkansas, Sarah Huckabee Sanders. She
- 11:51Speaker 2: and some whoever she's talking to. They go go to
- 11:54Speaker 2: lunch in a restaurant in Little Rock and they have
- 11:59Speaker 2: with them a securecurity detailed State Police that sort of stuff,
- 12:02Speaker 2: and they're sitting at a big table in the restaurant.
- 12:06Speaker 2: When this was Friday, March thirteenth, it's called the Croissanterie.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Now the croissantie is I guess that's supposed to be
- 12:17Speaker 2: shekh in Arkansas. It's like Andy Griffith show type of croissant.
- 12:23Speaker 2: But apparently they were there for a while and somebody
- 12:27Speaker 2: from the restaurant comes over to the state police guy
- 12:30Speaker 2: and tells them to leave. They got to leave, and
- 12:33Speaker 2: he's a little shocked. Why would they have to leave,
- 12:36Speaker 2: And well, you've been there an hour and fifteen minutes.
- 12:39Speaker 2: There's a ninety minute limit. But then he according to
- 12:41Speaker 2: the state police, I would believe the state police on this.
- 12:44Speaker 2: And he says you're making everybody uncomfortable because of her
- 12:48Speaker 2: political views. I would imagine in the croissantie, the employees
- 12:55Speaker 2: are young, stupid, and he actually said it out loud
- 13:00Speaker 2: of the state police. She she has to leave. She's
- 13:04Speaker 2: making everybody uncomfortable because of her political beliefs and her values. Well,
- 13:12Speaker 2: obviously it's Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Her political beliefs are fine,
- 13:16Speaker 2: her values are excellent. Her father, Mike Huckabee too excellent. Now,
- 13:22Speaker 2: the owner of the Cassandra's put out some long statement
- 13:28Speaker 2: saying she was asked to encourage the governor to leave
- 13:31Speaker 2: she had finished dining. It doesn't make any sense the restaurant, certainly,
- 13:39Speaker 2: I'm trying to find the statement. We regret being this position.
- 13:42Speaker 2: We had to make a difficult decision. However, we stand
- 13:46Speaker 2: by our choice. Absolutely ridiculous. I would hope this place
- 13:50Speaker 2: gets closed down. It's absolutely disgusting. We became aware that
- 13:55Speaker 2: the governor had arrived at the restaurant, and we were
- 13:57Speaker 2: surprised and uncertain, and I mean absolutely idiotic. First of all,
- 14:06Speaker 2: what it made them feel uncomfortable, and he also said
- 14:09Speaker 2: they felt threatened. They felt threatened by the governor's presidence.
- 14:13Speaker 2: She's got like four or five state police sitting there.
- 14:16Speaker 2: I can't think of a safer thing for a restaurant.
- 14:19Speaker 2: And normally people get excited when a governor comes into rus.
- 14:22Speaker 2: She's the governor. And if you're that uncomfortable and threatened
- 14:24Speaker 2: by her presence, leave the state, move out of the state,
- 14:27Speaker 2: go somewhere else. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next. Eight
- 14:30Speaker 2: hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten,
