- 0:38SPEAKER_01: So, because we're so grateful and we're so excited for everything that's happened, we decided that we wanted to give back to our community as our gift this year for Christmas.
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: So we are gonna continue with the Beyond Labels podcast as our flagship show.
- 0:54SPEAKER_01: So nothing's gonna change about that show.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: But beginning in January, we're reinvesting in all of you by expanding our platform.
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: We're gonna be offering even more valuable content that hopefully aligns with your interest.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: So for me, I'm actually gonna launch an exciting new show called Intuitive Cooking with Dr.
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: Stena.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: And this is based on invaluable feedback and suggestions that we've received from all of you.
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: So together we're gonna dive into the world of mindful and intuitive cooking, um, exploring the art basically of harnessing our God-given intuition in order to choose foods and choose recipes that are going to provide you with your own personalized nutrition.
- 1:37SPEAKER_01: In other words, addressing the unique needs of your individual body in that present moment by tapping into your God-given intuition.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: How about you, Joel?
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: That sounds pretty fun, uh, Cena.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: And of course, you know, you're the you're you're you're the younger of the two of us.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: And so this world of uh, you know, videoing and doing clips like that are is certainly uh with you.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: But you know, with me, since I'm still on the old um, on the on the old uh flip phone here, uh, you know, uh uh don't don't text me.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: I I've never been on an app.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: I don't even know what an app is.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Well, I know what they are, but I've never been on one.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: Anyway, so um we've talked about well, what can I contribute to this uh this effort to of gratitude for you all hanging with us through the year.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: And so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna do a once-a-month blog post just for our Beyond Labels audience uh about topics that I think are really uh important and hopefully will be interesting to you um as as opposed to you know anything else that I do.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: You know, I I I do a lot of writing, I write several magazine columns and different things, and and um, and so this will be geared strictly to our Beyond Labels audience and address the kinds of things that that I hope uh that you'll be interested in.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: And let me say, if you have if you have a topic you'd like me to explore just for you, please reach out and tell us, and uh, and I would be glad to explore a topic, uh, politics, philosophy, uh, any of these kind of things um that that uh I think that that you would like to have explored.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: So uh that's our kind of expanded content.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: Again, we're just so grateful for your involvement, your encouragement uh uh uh to us in this effort.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: And uh, you know, when I was a when I was uh working at the when I was at the newspaper and left there and came back to the farm full time, way back there, you know, uh 40 some years ago, um, I always I always thought that that my like pinnacle of anything would be if I could have a syndicated column.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: This was this was these were the days of syndicated columns.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: Remember those in the newspaper?
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: Um uh, you know, print newspaper.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: This is before the internet, uh, a syndicated column on food, farming, you know, type things.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: Well, we don't have newspapers anymore.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: Well, almost we don't.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: Uh we certainly don't have syndicated columnists like that anymore.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: What we do have are blogs and podcasts.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: And so I feel like you all have given me that opportunity to um to go to that place of of a public platform, if you will, for things that I can um minister to our world about uh from my experience.
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: And so I'm grateful for that.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: And we look forward to serving you next year um again and again um tell your friends and let's move this uh this uh this group of us forward um next year in 2024.
