- 0:00Speaker 1: Is there New York Marksimon on sevent ten w R.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Hey, Jimmy Fayla, the great host. You gotta listen to
- 0:09Speaker 2: him every night. He's on w o R every weeknight
- 0:11Speaker 2: now nine to midnight, excellent show, interesting, funny, nine to
- 0:16Speaker 2: midnight every night. And he does the best late night
- 0:19Speaker 2: show on television every Saturday night, ten pm on the
- 0:24Speaker 2: Fox News Channel. Jimmy Fayla, how you doing? It's better?
- 0:29Speaker 1: Now? I was watching Mom Donnie on the View this morning.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Now I didn't see so the best part is like
- 0:38Speaker 1: during the during the View itself, he's in one of
- 0:41Speaker 1: the commercials for the Golden Bachelor, you know, the show
- 0:43Speaker 1: The Golden Bachelor, and those actually, oddly enough, those marriages
- 0:48Speaker 1: actually work out the best because on the Golden Bachelor
- 0:51Speaker 1: killed death to at part isn't his law? You know,
- 0:55Speaker 1: it's like when the twenty two year old get married
- 0:58Speaker 1: on TV. You know, got taking a long time. But
- 1:01Speaker 1: I'm watching Mom Donnie and he's given his speech about
- 1:03Speaker 1: the Golden Bachelor and giving people the rose, and I'm like, wait,
- 1:07Speaker 1: this is the guy that supports legalized prostitutions.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Why are you.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Wasting your time on a dating show?
- 1:14Speaker 2: Well? Is that a bad thing legalized prostitution.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Well, well not if he wants to get Bill Clinton's endorsement.
- 1:24Speaker 2: But hey, how are you coping with the government shutdown?
- 1:28Speaker 2: How is it affecting your life?
- 1:31Speaker 1: Well, it's not me I worry about it's you know,
- 1:34Speaker 1: there's a lot of drag shows in Latvias that aren't
- 1:36Speaker 1: being funded right now. I mean, think of the poor
- 1:39Speaker 1: kids in Iraq that wanted to get out of bed
- 1:41Speaker 1: this morning and watch a transgender sesame street but our
- 1:45Speaker 1: government had to shut down, So now they're not paying
- 1:48Speaker 1: for it, you know, Yeah, to think about the other people, Mark,
- 1:51Speaker 1: But the whole thing is ridiculous.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Yeah, when they say non essential, don't you say, wait
- 1:56Speaker 2: a minute, you have non essential workers. Why why are
- 1:59Speaker 2: we paying for it?
- 2:01Speaker 1: It's such a good such a good point. It's like,
- 2:03Speaker 1: you know what, every once in a while you go
- 2:05Speaker 1: over the credit card statement and go like, oh, we
- 2:07Speaker 1: pay twelve ninety nine for this, why are we doing that?
- 2:09Speaker 1: But in the government, it's like, we pay twelve billions
- 2:12Speaker 1: for this? Why are we doing that? Hey, somebody else
- 2:16Speaker 1: has to look at their master card statement. Yeah, go ahead,
- 2:18Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Oh no.
- 2:18Speaker 2: I say, as a great comedian, Could you give Hakeem
- 2:22Speaker 2: Jeffries some advice on how to take a joke. This
- 2:25Speaker 2: guy's the biggest stiff I've ever seen.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Oh, I know. And it's funny because he's obviously like
- 2:32Speaker 1: a karaoke Obama. You know, it's a good Obama comper band.
- 2:37Speaker 1: That's totally what he is. And you know, to Obama's credit,
- 2:41Speaker 1: like the media never gave him a hard time, but
- 2:43Speaker 1: he at least had a bit of a personality. Hakeem Jeffries,
- 2:47Speaker 1: it's weird. He almost reminds me more of Hillary in
- 2:49Speaker 1: that the octaves in his voice never change, you know,
- 2:53Speaker 1: like if Hillary was the lead singer A Kiss, you'd
- 2:55Speaker 1: be like, I want to rock and roll all night
- 2:58Speaker 1: and the party every day. And you're like, wow, you
- 3:01Speaker 1: don't sound that enthusiastic about it, Hill, And that's kind
- 3:05Speaker 1: of Jeffers. There's no passion, so he wants to be Obama.
- 3:08Speaker 1: But to Obama's credit, he could at least get out
- 3:10Speaker 1: there and sell you the bs that he was pedaling. Yeah,
- 3:13Speaker 1: nobody buys a king. Like if I was a king, Jeffreys,
- 3:16Speaker 1: I would want Trump to be accenting all of my
- 3:19Speaker 1: videos with mariachi's and hats and mustaches because it gives
- 3:23Speaker 1: them some life, you know.
- 3:25Speaker 2: And what about Schumer, he's like from nineteen eighty two.
- 3:28Speaker 2: He's just so a relic updated sort of guy.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Yeah, the problem with Schumer is and they Democrats always
- 3:35Speaker 1: give us that speech about how we're the Party of
- 3:37Speaker 1: the youth, and they're like, we're the Party of the
- 3:39Speaker 1: youth this you know, this country needs new blood. From
- 3:42Speaker 1: looking at Schumer, I assume they actually mean new blood
- 3:45Speaker 1: like transfusions. I'm like, you know, he looks like a
- 3:51Speaker 1: villain on the Simpsons, and I don't ever know what
- 3:53Speaker 1: to make of him because there's the problem with being
- 3:56Speaker 1: in Washington, like he's seriously, Schumer has been in Washington
- 3:59Speaker 1: since Washington, you know what I'm saying. And it's like
- 4:03Speaker 1: there's not going to be a position you don't contradict
- 4:05Speaker 1: yourself on. So we've all heard the clips of him
- 4:08Speaker 1: in the nineties, in the early off its being like
- 4:10Speaker 1: a legal immigration it's all a scam for Medicare benefits.
- 4:13Speaker 1: There's all these illegals. That's where we can't let him in.
- 4:15Speaker 1: And now we could obviously on the complete opposite side
- 4:18Speaker 1: of himself it's that every Democrat could just debate themselves.
- 4:21Speaker 1: You could get like a hologram of like here's you
- 4:23Speaker 1: a year ago, and you can just have that debate.
- 4:27Speaker 2: And who told Schumer these classes look good on you
- 4:30Speaker 2: those big clunky glasses.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Listen, I'm not going to have you insult Schumer's stylist
- 4:38Speaker 1: or his seeing idols. That's not nice.
- 4:41Speaker 2: That's what he looks like. Yeah, he looks like he
- 4:43Speaker 2: needs a dog with those glasses. So uh good. Hey,
- 4:47Speaker 2: I'm sure you're thrilled that un week is over. That
- 4:49Speaker 2: was pretty bad, wasn't it. That un General.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Man wasn't the best part though, that mcrone had to
- 4:55Speaker 1: get out and walk across town because they had the
- 4:59Speaker 1: one street block off. And I was saying on my show,
- 5:02Speaker 1: you know, it's a real slap in the face to
- 5:04Speaker 1: a world leader when you got to get out and walk.
- 5:06Speaker 1: But luckily mccron's used to getting slapped in the face
- 5:08Speaker 1: by his wife. Do you remember that plane video? She
- 5:12Speaker 1: beat him up on the plane and he had to
- 5:14Speaker 1: get off like it was cool. I dude, we all
- 5:17Speaker 1: saw it, man.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I remember the day had that video Trump and
- 5:21Speaker 2: Milania in the fight on the helicopter they were trying
- 5:23Speaker 2: to go after. But then the lip reader said it
- 5:25Speaker 2: was Trump yelling at her, so he wasn't getting slapped
- 5:28Speaker 2: around apparently.
- 5:29Speaker 1: No, no, no, they're not going to beat him up. No,
- 5:31Speaker 1: McCrone looks like he's into it, let's be honest. He
- 5:34Speaker 1: looks like one of those people I would drive around
- 5:36Speaker 1: in my taxi. Because that's the thing about New York
- 5:39Speaker 1: tells you is the traffic's the worst on earth. But
- 5:42Speaker 1: it's also the most lucrative week of the year if
- 5:44Speaker 1: you're a cab driver, because there's a lot of people
- 5:46Speaker 1: that have to get around street closures and get to
- 5:48Speaker 1: embassies and York they kind of will hire you for
- 5:52Speaker 1: that knowledge. And you know a lot of these people
- 5:54Speaker 1: I'm talking about get paid in singles and wear very
- 5:58Speaker 1: high stiletto heels. Up what I'm putting down. Yes, And
- 6:02Speaker 1: that's the part of you. One week I miss as
- 6:04Speaker 1: a driver is you know, you're driving some some guy
- 6:07Speaker 1: in a dress named Cinnabuns over to some embassy because
- 6:11Speaker 1: there's a weirdo diplomat waiting.
- 6:13Speaker 2: That was the part I enjoyed. Well, you haven't driven
- 6:16Speaker 2: in a while. I don't think it's singles anymore, is it?
- 6:19Speaker 1: No, No, they're at You're right, you're right about that.
- 6:24Speaker 1: It's all kind of so Hunter Biden changed the game.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Now it's wire transfers coming in from multiple entities, whole
- 6:31Speaker 1: new world.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Hey, uh, you were a cab driver. He's not kidding,
- 6:34Speaker 2: he was a cab driver. Tell us the truth. Does
- 6:37Speaker 2: the driver want to be stuck in traffic and run
- 6:39Speaker 2: up the meter or does he want to get the
- 6:40Speaker 2: right over fast so you can get a new fare turnover?
- 6:44Speaker 1: You want to ride, you want a faster ride. I'll
- 6:45Speaker 1: tell you the reason why. Every fair that gets in
- 6:48Speaker 1: you're getting the search charge. And maybe it's at night
- 6:51Speaker 1: you're getting that differential. So if you ran the meter
- 6:55Speaker 1: for an hour right now, it might generate eighty two bucks,
- 6:58Speaker 1: but if you turned over four fares, you're going to
- 7:01Speaker 1: be around forty before you even take the rider get tipped.
- 7:06Speaker 1: So unequivocally, you'd rather have four mid length fairs, five
- 7:11Speaker 1: mid length fairs in an hour, turnover as your friend,
- 7:14Speaker 1: and every fourth or fifth person uses you as an
- 7:17Speaker 1: affordable therapist if you're outgoing, and tips you extra money.
- 7:21Speaker 1: So that happens, And that was definitely my strategy.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Too.
- 7:24Speaker 1: The reason guys want the long fair like the airport
- 7:26Speaker 1: fair is at JFK and the taxi lot there is
- 7:29Speaker 1: a massive gambling ring like for real, for real, what
- 7:33Speaker 1: where they play this piegal poker game and they like
- 7:35Speaker 1: to play this Middle Eastern domino game I'm not making
- 7:38Speaker 1: it up. And a lot of guys because when you
- 7:39Speaker 1: go to JFK, you wait like an hour and a
- 7:41Speaker 1: half for your next fair, and a lot of guys gamble.
- 7:45Speaker 1: It's like a card game basically, it's you know, it's
- 7:46Speaker 1: almost like a recreational card game, but there's a lot
- 7:48Speaker 1: of money at stake. And anytime you're driving to Central
- 7:52Speaker 1: taxi at JFK, if you see that massive lot of cabs,
- 7:55Speaker 1: the reason nobody's in them is half of the guys
- 7:57Speaker 1: are exercising the other half are gambling. Okay, that's like
- 8:00Speaker 1: a thing, and it's a funny, you know, it's a
- 8:02Speaker 1: recreational thing, but it's pretty funny. It's like the new OTB.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Instead of off track gambling, we have off road gambling.
- 8:08Speaker 2: That's actually fascinating. But why would why would as a driver,
- 8:11Speaker 2: why would you ever want to sit and do nothing
- 8:13Speaker 2: for an hour and a half when you could be
- 8:14Speaker 2: doing twelve fars.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Well, okay, because the thing is that JFK fair that
- 8:20Speaker 1: you take that you take back is usually pretty lucrative,
- 8:23Speaker 1: and it's for some guys drive. They exclusively do hotels
- 8:27Speaker 1: and airports. What I mean is they have a guy
- 8:29Speaker 1: at a hotel, they have a guy to hotel that
- 8:31Speaker 1: they give twenty bucks to at the beginning of the shift.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Who's going to give them the first airport fair? Then
- 8:35Speaker 1: they're gonna wait and come back to that same hotel
- 8:38Speaker 1: when they drop off. And the reason they do that
- 8:40Speaker 1: is it actually minimizes the amount of driving in a
- 8:43Speaker 1: shift and the money is comparable, meaning they might not
- 8:47Speaker 1: always make as much some day as they'll make more
- 8:49Speaker 1: depending on who they're dropping off at the hotel. But
- 8:51Speaker 1: the big thing is it's just highway back and forth
- 8:54Speaker 1: as opposed to the you know, vehiculear combat that I'm
- 8:58Speaker 1: engaging in across town for twelve hours a day.
- 9:00Speaker 2: This is actually fascinating stuff. There's a book in here
- 9:03Speaker 2: or a Netflix documentary or something in this somewhere.
- 9:06Speaker 1: This one, well, it won't be Netflix because I'm not
- 9:08Speaker 1: trans But if I decide to make a move, well, but.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Great, Hey, Jimmy Faylor, what's on tonight's show at nine
- 9:16Speaker 2: o'clock here, it's all coming up.
- 9:18Speaker 1: We got Steve Hilton, he's gonna be the next governor
- 9:20Speaker 1: of California. And my wife, Jenny Fayala making a rare
- 9:24Speaker 1: in studio appearance. She's trying to have an intervention with
- 9:28Speaker 1: me based on some things that have happened on the
- 9:31Speaker 1: TV show in the last week and a half. I
- 9:33Speaker 1: don't know what that means.
- 9:34Speaker 2: She just said she's showing.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Up as standards and practices, So I don't know what
- 9:38Speaker 1: that means. I might be single this time tomorrow.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Lee's I think she's great. You've got like your own
- 9:43Speaker 2: joy Philbin there, it's great.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Yeah, she's his, She's got she's got real chops and
- 9:49Speaker 1: she does thankfully. She does have a sense of humor.
- 9:52Speaker 1: And everybody's always like, oh, how did you get her?
- 9:54Speaker 1: And I'm like, what do you mean? Women don't want
- 9:56Speaker 1: to marry an overweight cab driver who has no health
- 9:59Speaker 1: insurance and does a book.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Come on, man, well be listening to Tide nine to
- 10:05Speaker 2: midnight every weeknight nine to midnight on WOR. It's a
- 10:08Speaker 2: great show, and make sure you watch them Saturday nights
- 10:11Speaker 2: at ten. I think it's the best late night show
- 10:14Speaker 2: on television. Saturday nights at ten o'clock, Fox News Channel.
- 10:17Speaker 2: I love that show. Jimmy Fayla, thanks for being with us.
- 10:21Speaker 2: You're the man. Malcoms you soon all right, take care. Hey,
- 10:24Speaker 2: don't forget Buck Sexton, Clay Travis. Right after this show,
- 10:27Speaker 2: they'll be here right after the news at noon on
- 10:30Speaker 2: seven to ten wor
