- 28:02Rae: To get their tax break.
- 28:04Rae: They can sell it to another company, and now you have a more aggressive company calling you, harassing you, emailing you.

- 30:44Rae: I've seen a number of parents
- 30:49Rae: Let their child quit something, because the child wasn't… Great at it, right away.
- 30:54Rae: It's one thing to lose interest, but it's a completely different thing
- 30:58Rae: to let your child quit because they're not good. It makes me very sad when I have… hear parents say to me, oh, my daughter's not good at dancing.
- 31:07Rae: But neither am I. And I'm thinking…
- 31:10Rae: Your child loves dancing. Whether or not she's good at it is completely irrelevant.
- 31:15Rae: My child's not good at karate, he never listens,
- 31:19Rae: He's always getting in trouble in class.
- 31:22Rae: But does her kid like it?
- 31:24Rae: If you are a parent watching this, then please.
- 31:28Rae: Don't worry about if your child is good at something. Think more about, are they enjoying that activity before you pull them out?
- 31:38Rae: Because it happens, So frequently. And then these kids wind up carrying this idea that they aren't good at
- 31:49Rae: XYZ.
- 31:51Rae: And then that pattern just perpetuates.
- 31:54Rae: Meanwhile, maybe with a little bit more time.
- 31:58Rae: not only could XYB be something that they enjoyed.
- 32:01Rae: But it could also become something that they're good at, or maybe great at.
- 32:06Rae: Sometimes, the right teacher.
- 32:09Rae: can help them.
- 32:10Rae: Find what they're great at.
