- 1:32Speaker 3: to the movies and see The Bone Temple.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Just tickets to go bone it out at the Temple.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Come on, POGs, grow up.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Sorry, now it's a new twenty eight years later film
- 1:44Speaker 3: The Bone Temple.
- 1:45Speaker 1: We'll be giving those away.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Probably after seven o'clock, i'd say, coming up next to
- 1:48Speaker 3: those pugs, very excited for a brand new segment I've
- 1:50Speaker 3: just started. The reason this segment came about is while
- 1:54Speaker 3: I was making a coffee out in the kitchen there
- 1:57Speaker 3: before the show and having a glass of water, I
- 1:59Speaker 3: opened the news paper and I flipped through the entire
- 2:02Speaker 3: thing and found the world page to be very interesting.
- 2:06Speaker 3: So Kesey's News of the World is going to be
- 2:09Speaker 3: happening next.
- 2:10Speaker 1: That's a man, I'm really excited. And if that's not
- 2:11Speaker 1: a reflection of the amount of prep that goes into
- 2:13Speaker 1: this break for show, I don't know what is.
- 2:15Speaker 3: That's right, I stumbled across it five minutes ago and
- 2:18Speaker 3: now we're leading the show with it.
- 2:20Speaker 1: What tunes we got coming up? Pugs? This is a
- 2:22Speaker 1: tune I used to sing on sing Star Party on
- 2:24Speaker 1: PlayStation two. Right it is my favorite.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Oh Franz Ferdinand Absolute Chune three, four eight three.
- 2:31Speaker 2: If you need anything New Zealand The Hurdiarchy Big Show
- 2:35Speaker 2: weekdays from four on Radio hold ache.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Because we's a Buddy Holly on the Hoducky break for
- 2:39Speaker 3: show twelve minutes past six this Thursday Morning with Keezy
- 2:42Speaker 3: and Pugs, aren't.
- 2:46Speaker 1: This is breaking news?
- 2:50Speaker 3: That is breaking news, brand new segment Keezy Reads the
- 2:54Speaker 3: News of the World.
- 2:56Speaker 1: This came about Pugs.
- 2:57Speaker 3: As I briefly explained before that, I was going through
- 3:00Speaker 3: the newspaper this morning while making a coffee and there
- 3:02Speaker 3: was some interesting stuff on the world page.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Stuff you wouldn't think that they would put into print.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Is it breaking news if it's in the newspaper? Yep,
- 3:09Speaker 1: Because it's still first thing in the morning. I think
- 3:12Speaker 1: I don't think we should analyze type the whole thing out. Yeah,
- 3:17Speaker 1: banged it in the printer, but I just don't think
- 3:20Speaker 1: we should. You know, the post G's dropped it off. Pugs.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Huh, I don't think we should question the segment once
- 3:26Speaker 3: it's already underway. We should do that off air afterwards,
- 3:28Speaker 3: or preferably beforehand, right overwhere with you afterwards, as you were, okay.
- 3:33Speaker 3: Library book returns home after thirty six years. Dimitri Economo
- 3:42Speaker 3: was visiting his parents in Greece and looking for a
- 3:44Speaker 3: book to read his seven year old son when he
- 3:46Speaker 3: happened upont a copy of Harry the Dirty Dog on
- 3:49Speaker 3: his dad's bookshelf. After flicking through the book because he
- 3:53Speaker 3: remembered it from childhood, pugs got to the last page,
- 3:55Speaker 3: saw that it had the library cards still in it
- 3:57Speaker 3: from nineteen eighteen November sixth and realized when they used
- 4:02Speaker 3: to live in the States and then moved back to
- 4:04Speaker 3: where was it, Greece, they must have accidentally packed up
- 4:07Speaker 3: his library book instead of taking it back, and it's
- 4:09Speaker 3: been in Greece for thirty six years. He lives in
- 4:12Speaker 3: the States now, so he was like, stuff, and I'm
- 4:15Speaker 3: going to take that library book back to their original library,
- 4:17Speaker 3: which is still in that same place where he grew up.
- 4:20Speaker 3: He took it back, handed it in no fines because
- 4:22Speaker 3: I don't do fines anymore. But he just wanted to
- 4:25Speaker 3: make sure the book returned and it was in mint condition,
- 4:27Speaker 3: and he just he left a note saying and he
- 4:29Speaker 3: had had a word to them saying, basically, it's been
- 4:30Speaker 3: around the world this book, but here it is now.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Sorry about that. I would be keeping the book, you
- 4:37Speaker 1: would be, of course, that would.
- 4:38Speaker 3: Be knowingly keeping stolen property.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Well, they're not going to find me, as you just said.
- 4:43Speaker 3: So it's about not being able to find you. It's
- 4:45Speaker 3: not about doing the right.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Thing with you. There's a punishment. You're a Marebits monetary motivator.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Ah more news of the world. The Chinese app for
- 4:53Speaker 3: solo dwellers goes viral. It's called are you dead question mark.
- 4:59Speaker 3: It's an app that sounds the alarm if a user
- 5:02Speaker 3: doesn't check in every forty eight hours. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 5:06Speaker 3: so because so many people live alone.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Like, oh, I suppose it wud to be old people.
- 5:10Speaker 1: If it's just people that live alone, just people that
- 5:11Speaker 1: live alone.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, you know you want to make sure that
- 5:13Speaker 3: you know, like they're not you know, they might be
- 5:16Speaker 3: in a bad.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Place sort of thing.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Yeah, it's true, and it's become It was one of
- 5:21Speaker 3: China's top selling paid apps on Tuesday.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Sort of an abrasive name for it, isn't it Are
- 5:27Speaker 1: You Dead? Yeah? Be called solo checking.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Yeah, one hundred percent. That's actually a really bad name
- 5:31Speaker 3: for it because now people don't want to use the
- 5:32Speaker 3: app Are You did? They'll be offended by the suggestion.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Like what if you went on like a trip or something,
- 5:36Speaker 1: would you log that? Ah? Yeah, you probably log it.
- 5:41Speaker 3: And final piece of news elephant hunted in India. So
- 5:47Speaker 3: you're going to turn the music up there after I
- 5:48Speaker 3: say the title, Sorry, elephant hunted in India?
- 5:53Speaker 1: Yeah? Thanks man? Well, hang on, that's what is that
- 5:58Speaker 1: the news? No, I'm of India, explain it right, okay? Ah.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Wildlife officers in India are looking for an elephant after
- 6:04Speaker 3: it went on a rampage. Twenty people were murdered and
- 6:09Speaker 3: fifteen others at least injured.
- 6:11Speaker 1: That's horrifically dark.
- 6:12Speaker 3: They believe that the elephant was enraged during must which
- 6:18Speaker 3: is the time of the year where its hormones are
- 6:20Speaker 3: through the roof and it's pretty much barred up and
- 6:22Speaker 3: looking for love. But it has since calmed down and
- 6:25Speaker 3: returned to its herd. That was Kesey's news.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Of the world.
- 6:31Speaker 2: The Hidiching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune
- 6:35Speaker 2: in week days at four on Radio Hdichy Pushpersh.
- 6:38Speaker 3: On the Hidicky brick Fort Show twenty three minutes past
- 6:40Speaker 3: six this Thursday morning with Keezy and pugsn and Pugs
- 6:43Speaker 3: packing bags Mate, pack him right now because we're heading
- 6:47Speaker 3: back to Magic.
- 6:48Speaker 1: I thought you're telling me to get out of the studio. Look, man,
- 6:50Speaker 1: it's my first time doing Brickfast right.
- 6:53Speaker 3: No, I'm talking about Magic Ground, okay, which is in May,
- 6:55Speaker 3: which is five.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Months awo oh it's magic.
- 6:59Speaker 3: It's a fan testic weekend, three days long, jam packed
- 7:02Speaker 3: full of NRL. There are seventeen teams in the NRL.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Sixteen of those teams all go head to hit at
- 7:08Speaker 3: sun Corpse Stadium And if you'd like to come along
- 7:10Speaker 3: with the team from Hodaki who have now been a
- 7:13Speaker 3: couple of years in a row, and I highly, highly
- 7:15Speaker 3: highly recommend it even if you're not a Rugby league fan, right, Pugs,
- 7:18Speaker 3: you're not a Rugby league fan.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Well I am now, I'm just not knowledgeable about it
- 7:24Speaker 1: like at all.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I would say that you're not a
- 7:26Speaker 3: rugby league fan.
- 7:27Speaker 1: I think I'm a fan of it, right, of all
- 7:30Speaker 1: the sports. Yeah, I'm a fan of that one, right,
- 7:33Speaker 1: I still just know very little about it. He's still
- 7:35Speaker 1: I'm not following it super hard, yeah, right, but especially
- 7:39Speaker 1: a Magic Round.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Really a Google fan the word fans, yeah, because it'll
- 7:46Speaker 3: come up as like someone who is knowledgeable about a
- 7:48Speaker 3: sport and follows it super closely, with two things Pugs
- 7:51Speaker 3: does not do. But it is a fantastic sporting experience.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Everyone there is just wearing retro NRL jerseys. Everyone's on
- 8:00Speaker 3: Caxton Street, which is the street full of pubs right
- 8:02Speaker 3: next to sun Corps Stadium.
- 8:03Speaker 1: It's a three day affair and if.
- 8:05Speaker 3: You want to come along and be part of the
- 8:07Speaker 3: Howducky trip as well, hit to Boystrip dot co dot z,
- 8:10Speaker 3: grab your mates and secure the packages there, which all
- 8:13Speaker 3: include flights, accommodation, transfers and tickets to all the games.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Can I just say the one thing I want to
- 8:17Speaker 1: bring back this time around the Magic Round is beefing
- 8:21Speaker 1: with other teams fans, because you remember the first year
- 8:25Speaker 1: and the first night that we went to the games
- 8:27Speaker 1: and there was like that British dude sitting in front
- 8:29Speaker 1: of us and other people's Yeah, and they were just
- 8:32Speaker 1: talking shit the entire time.
- 8:34Speaker 3: They were spraying us one.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Hundred percent, even though the Warriors weren't've been playing that night.
- 8:38Speaker 1: We were just kidding, like getting what do you call it?
- 8:41Speaker 1: Sprayed for no reason? And then this last time around
- 8:45Speaker 1: there was list of that, and so I think we've
- 8:46Speaker 1: got to bring them back.
- 8:46Speaker 3: Well, it depends who was sitting by yea, because those
- 8:48Speaker 3: guys were an exception because the entire week and everyone's
- 8:50Speaker 3: actually really really nice to each other. Everyone's just stoked
- 8:53Speaker 3: on Rugby League fans like you puks. But the guys
- 8:57Speaker 3: that said in front of us, I think the Raiders
- 8:58Speaker 3: were playing the Bulldogs.
- 9:00Speaker 1: They were supporting the Raiders.
- 9:02Speaker 3: And my uncle gave me a retro Bulldogs jersey and
- 9:04Speaker 3: ninety four it's a cool jersey.
- 9:07Speaker 1: So I had it on a fan of that jersey. Yeah,
- 9:09Speaker 1: there you go.
- 9:09Speaker 3: You don't know much about it, you haven't studied it closely,
- 9:12Speaker 3: but you like it, thank you. And so I was like, stuff,
- 9:15Speaker 3: I'm gonna wear this Bulldogs jersey while the Bulldogs are playing.
- 9:17Speaker 3: Wars aren't playing till Sunday. The Bulldogs got pants and
- 9:21Speaker 3: the guys in front of us were giving me so
- 9:23Speaker 3: much shit, and I didn't want to say I'm not
- 9:26Speaker 3: even a Bulldogs fan, because that's the worst thing you
- 9:28Speaker 3: can say.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Yeah, like, I'm not even a fan, but I'm wearing
- 9:30Speaker 1: the merch.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Yea, yeah, yeah, I'm like I did say. At one point,
- 9:32Speaker 3: I was like, well, to be honest, I'm mostly here
- 9:33Speaker 3: for the wars on Sunday.
- 9:34Speaker 1: They were. It was very, very very funny. I really
- 9:38Speaker 1: liked bearing witness to that whole interaction. Yeah, I'd like
- 9:42Speaker 1: to bring it back.
- 9:42Speaker 3: And that was our first night of the first Magic
- 9:44Speaker 3: Round eiver, so it was a great introduction. If you
- 9:46Speaker 3: are keen to come along, boys, Chip Dot cutout in
- 9:48Speaker 3: z it a full weekend of awesomeness. They'll take care
- 9:51Speaker 3: of your flights, your accommodation, your transfers, and your tickets
- 9:53Speaker 3: to get stuck in. What tunes Pugs have we got
- 9:57Speaker 3: coming up after this we ad break.
- 9:58Speaker 1: We've got some radio headline up for your ends in
- 10:00Speaker 1: Phillies in four minutes. Sounds great.
- 10:03Speaker 2: The Hiking Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune
- 10:06Speaker 2: in on Radio Hodaki.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Radio head on the Hiducky Breakfast Show to six thirty
- 10:11Speaker 3: nine Thursday Morning with Keysy and pugs Keezy.
- 10:14Speaker 1: I've got a bone to pack.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Ah, I got a bowl a bit.
- 10:18Speaker 1: I've been trying to get better at packing my lunches
- 10:21Speaker 1: right okay, and I've been doing a food subscription service
- 10:25Speaker 1: this week, so I've been really really good at taking
- 10:27Speaker 1: bringing leftovers to work. But also I've been trying to
- 10:30Speaker 1: get better at packing snacks, because you know, we love
- 10:31Speaker 1: to have chips when we're doing the drive show and
- 10:34Speaker 1: steal a little snack or do a little run to
- 10:36Speaker 1: the sushi shop or whatever. You know what I mean.
- 10:39Speaker 1: So I thought I was being very productive and quite
- 10:43Speaker 1: healthy with a protein based snack that I brought into
- 10:46Speaker 1: the office yesterday.
- 10:47Speaker 3: Are you talking about when you brought in a small
- 10:49Speaker 3: jar with two hard boiled eggs in it and then
- 10:51Speaker 3: went to eat some and then spilt some pickle juice
- 10:54Speaker 3: on the floor and then bit the head off in
- 10:57Speaker 3: a hard boiled egg a small amount, and then just
- 11:00Speaker 3: stuff for the whole rest of the egg in your
- 11:01Speaker 3: mouth after that?
- 11:03Speaker 1: Can I just say ninety percent of the details you
- 11:06Speaker 1: just included a neither here nor there. The bone that
- 11:09Speaker 1: I have to pack is that I was accosted not
- 11:11Speaker 1: just by you, but prebs our boss, Toddy, Dilly.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Dilly, Bic and Bick from the Day show. So you're
- 11:20Speaker 3: saying the entire office had a problem with it.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Yeah, and my bone to pack is with you because
- 11:24Speaker 1: you're the one sitting in front of me, but it's
- 11:26Speaker 1: actually with all of them as well. What I was
- 11:28Speaker 1: taking the purse out of for having a perfectly reasonable, normal,
- 11:32Speaker 1: healthy snack.
- 11:33Speaker 3: The reason why we took the purse in a fun way.
- 11:36Speaker 3: You can eat a hardboarding that's great.
- 11:37Speaker 1: I wasn't having fun. I would have headed. I would
- 11:41Speaker 1: have had fun if I was eating my eggs.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Man, it looked like you were having fun the way
- 11:44Speaker 3: you pretty much gobbled them, dobbled their entire egg down.
- 11:47Speaker 1: It was me. That's okay. There was one of your head.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Was the small bite you had and then the hole
- 11:52Speaker 3: shove the rest of the egg.
- 11:53Speaker 1: The way that I eat the food that I bring
- 11:55Speaker 1: into work. Chris, there's none of your best. That was
- 12:00Speaker 1: such a small bite and then stuffed the rest of
- 12:02Speaker 1: the egg. And that's what I felt like doing with
- 12:06Speaker 1: lunch made fair enough.
- 12:07Speaker 3: So people need to realize though the size of the
- 12:10Speaker 3: jar you had these two little hard boiled eggs and
- 12:13Speaker 3: was perfect size for two.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Hard boiled eggs. Thank you.
- 12:16Speaker 3: It was also quite comical, very small jar, really floppy looking.
- 12:21Speaker 1: They look soft, but were they soft boiled? It was
- 12:22Speaker 1: an ex pex peanut butter jar, the small ones that
- 12:25Speaker 1: you get.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Yeah with the eggs, soft board or hard like? Were
- 12:27Speaker 3: they wee bit?
- 12:28Speaker 1: I would say they were medium boiled, medium boiled, and
- 12:30Speaker 1: they had some sort of lidium to hard boiled. They
- 12:32Speaker 1: had some sort of like was it vinegar in there
- 12:34Speaker 1: with them? No, what was that that was? I just
- 12:37Speaker 1: seized them with salt and pepper, and that was obviously
- 12:39Speaker 1: just moisture from the eggs. Egg moisture? Did you know that?
- 12:46Speaker 3: Looking back on the situation now, I'm not even the
- 12:48Speaker 3: one that started it.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Prems was talking shit because the bit of the water
- 12:53Speaker 1: got on the carpet, pugs of spileders eggs, juice of
- 12:57Speaker 1: the carpet, that's gonna smell good. I was like, all right, Gibbs,
- 13:00Speaker 1: he's right though, it's gonna smell good. Having heart boiled
- 13:03Speaker 1: eggs just seem like a brand new thing. And you
- 13:06Speaker 1: guys are shocked me.
- 13:07Speaker 3: It was the way you did it. There was a
- 13:09Speaker 3: very pugsan way you did It's.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Sorry the breast of Pugsan way, the pugsar way of
- 13:14Speaker 1: doing something is just doing something with like, for example,
- 13:17Speaker 1: you're drinking water right now out of an old milk bottle.
- 13:21Speaker 3: You find the funny, the silliest vessels to put your
- 13:24Speaker 3: stuff in, and then you try to pretend like it's
- 13:26Speaker 3: not slightly silly.
- 13:27Speaker 1: This is incredibly convenient, this milk ex milk bottle because
- 13:31Speaker 1: it's got a lot of volume in the in the
- 13:33Speaker 1: actual container, but then a small thing at the top,
- 13:37Speaker 1: so I can get a lot of water, yeah, at
- 13:39Speaker 1: a convenient rate.
- 13:40Speaker 3: And it's going to screw it on it, so you
- 13:41Speaker 3: can screw it into that mouth, you ols, and then
- 13:43Speaker 3: just like knock it back.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Look, Pugs, I'm sorry.
- 13:46Speaker 3: Okay, you can eat hard boiled eggs in the office
- 13:48Speaker 3: as much as you want, and I won't. I won't
- 13:50Speaker 3: take the purse out of your tiny little jar, or
- 13:52Speaker 3: the fact that you bit the lid off and then
- 13:53Speaker 3: put the whole thing in your mouth like an anaconda.
- 13:57Speaker 2: The Hiarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio
- 14:00Speaker 2: Hodich The.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Killers on the Herdick You brick for show. It's almost
- 14:03Speaker 3: seven am this Thursday morning with Kezy and Pugs and
- 14:05Speaker 3: coming up after seven, we've got tickets to go and
- 14:07Speaker 3: see the new twenty eight years later flick. It is
- 14:10Speaker 3: called twenty eight years Later The Bone Temple and Pugs.
- 14:13Speaker 3: It debuted on Rotten Tomatoes with the highest score in
- 14:16Speaker 3: the franchise's history, really, which is amazing for a fourth installment.
- 14:20Speaker 3: So if you would like to go along to see
- 14:22Speaker 3: that film along with one other person, just text through
- 14:25Speaker 3: on three four eight three who you'd like to take
- 14:27Speaker 3: to the Bone Temple and we'll send out some double
- 14:32Speaker 3: passes a little later on the show.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Also after seven. I want to get into a couple
- 14:36Speaker 1: of ins and outs for twenty twenty six. So an
- 14:39Speaker 1: N is something that you'd like to introduce or reintroduce
- 14:42Speaker 1: in twenty twenty six, and then out of something you
- 14:44Speaker 1: want to get rid of. Right, So, for example, N
- 14:48Speaker 1: would be bringing your hard boiled eggs to work and
- 14:51Speaker 1: a glass jar, right, So you want that to be
- 14:53Speaker 1: in eating them. I want that to be in and
- 14:55Speaker 1: out for twenty twenty six as bullying people for bringing
- 14:59Speaker 1: their hard boiled eggs work in a glass jar, and
- 15:01Speaker 1: then maybe spelling a bit of a big moisture on
- 15:03Speaker 1: the floor.
- 15:03Speaker 3: Very specific, huh, do you want the audiences wants to
- 15:06Speaker 3: be that specific.
- 15:06Speaker 1: I would like the audience to send through whatever they
- 15:08Speaker 1: feel needs to be enter out for twenty twenty six.
- 15:11Speaker 1: So text yours through on three Freight three. It could
- 15:14Speaker 1: just be an in, It could just be an out,
- 15:15Speaker 1: it could be both. Whatever you feel it needs to
- 15:18Speaker 1: be axed or introduced in this new year for the
- 15:22Speaker 1: year here, Okay, give us a text three Freight three.
- 15:24Speaker 1: We've got vouchers to give away. I think we've got
- 15:26Speaker 1: some Reburger line around, so give us a buzz.
- 15:28Speaker 4: Hew.
- 15:28Speaker 1: We've just got Reburger line around. I just got the
- 15:30Speaker 1: other day. I picked me just just got Regent reds
- 15:33Speaker 1: all over the desk.
- 15:34Speaker 3: I picked my coat up and there was like just
- 15:36Speaker 3: an entire combo.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:38Speaker 3: I think it was a Regent red some fries and coke.
- 15:40Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, three four eight three, Get stuck in. We'll
- 15:43Speaker 3: be back after seven.
- 15:47Speaker 2: The hold Iking Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Tune in week days at four on Radio hold Iks.
- 15:57Speaker 3: It's five past seven on the Hidak You break for
- 15:59Speaker 3: show with Cheesy and Pugs Thursday morning. It is the
- 16:02Speaker 3: fifteenth January twenty twenty six. By the way great to
- 16:05Speaker 3: have you with us, New Zealand. If you do any
- 16:07Speaker 3: need anything, three four eight three is the number to text.
- 16:10Speaker 3: And this hour, Pugs and I are going to be
- 16:12Speaker 3: going through the ins and outs for twenty twenty six, right, Pugs.
- 16:16Speaker 1: That's exactly right, Chris. So if you don't know, an
- 16:19Speaker 1: end is something that you want to bring in with
- 16:20Speaker 1: the new year, and an out is something you want
- 16:22Speaker 1: to act in the new year. So, for example, for me,
- 16:25Speaker 1: an in in twenty twenty six is extremely long board shorts.
- 16:31Speaker 3: Yes, I noticed you're wearing a pair of was it
- 16:33Speaker 3: rusty or ripkeol?
- 16:34Speaker 1: I had got some rusties over the break, Yeah, and
- 16:37Speaker 1: I forgot to take board shorts on my holiday to
- 16:40Speaker 1: the beach. So you bought some dumbass. It's been one
- 16:42Speaker 1: hundred bucks on some bloody rusty board shorts because that's
- 16:44Speaker 1: all they had, and they were sick man, and they're
- 16:47Speaker 1: super long and they hang over my knees and it
- 16:49Speaker 1: felt right.
- 16:50Speaker 3: I've been waiting for these to come back because when
- 16:53Speaker 3: I was very early teens, it was all about Billabong, Rusty,
- 16:57Speaker 3: Quicksilver percent roxy. If you're a check and I remember
- 17:02Speaker 3: borg Short's cost of fortune Yeah, all of those brands
- 17:04Speaker 3: were really expensive.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Yes, the still are. Oh and if I can give
- 17:08Speaker 1: you an out for twenty twenty six, the name Dennis.
- 17:12Speaker 1: No disrespect to anybody currently named Dennis, but we've got
- 17:14Speaker 1: to stop naming babies Dennis in twenty twenty six. It
- 17:17Speaker 1: is pretty disrespectful. I mean, you look at a baby
- 17:19Speaker 1: and what it's Dennis.
- 17:22Speaker 3: How do you get how do you get rid of
- 17:23Speaker 3: the name Dennis If your name's already Dennis, and now
- 17:26Speaker 3: all you've done is alienate all the Dennist's list.
- 17:28Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. If you're currently named Dennis, you're
- 17:30Speaker 1: good because you're probably an adult listening to this. But
- 17:33Speaker 1: any future babies, stop naming them Dennis twenty six.
- 17:37Speaker 3: What if there's a young kid listening right now who's
- 17:39Speaker 3: called Dennis.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Then he's already been born and he's a kid, and
- 17:42Speaker 1: that's fine. Keep your name Dennis. You've done great, But
- 17:44Speaker 1: no babies right out for twenty twenty six.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Were you bullied by someone called Dinnis as a kid?
- 17:50Speaker 1: Navy's all good? What was he?
- 17:52Speaker 3: I think we've touched on something here, all right?
- 17:54Speaker 1: What about this? For me?
- 17:55Speaker 3: In all this to come in in twenty twenty six.
- 18:00Speaker 3: Using a sunshade in your car if it's a hot day,
- 18:03Speaker 3: a sunshade and you you unfold it and you put
- 18:06Speaker 3: it in the windshield there, Yeah, to protect your dash
- 18:09Speaker 3: from cracking.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Oh the foil metallic side ye yea yeah, yah, one
- 18:14Speaker 1: hundred percent.
- 18:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Did they leave well?
- 18:16Speaker 3: I put one up into last year and one of
- 18:18Speaker 3: my mates gave me shit about it.
- 18:20Speaker 1: You go to costing for it, did you? I did
- 18:21Speaker 1: get a costing for it.
- 18:22Speaker 3: So I think sunshades should be in for twenty twenty six.
- 18:24Speaker 3: We've got more of these as well. Feel free to
- 18:26Speaker 3: have your opinion on three four eight three. We've got
- 18:28Speaker 3: rebigger to give away to get stuck in three four
- 18:31Speaker 3: eight three, what tune We've got to eat Pugs.
- 18:33Speaker 1: This is a three day baby a ha ha yeah.
- 18:36Speaker 2: The Hierarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hodachi.
- 18:40Speaker 3: Fourteen past seven on the Hidarky Break for sure. But
- 18:42Speaker 3: of Nirvana there Lithium and you're with Keesy and Pugs
- 18:45Speaker 3: and we're doing the ins and outs for twenty twenty six.
- 18:51Speaker 3: It's funny because for years now I've been punishing Jason
- 18:54Speaker 3: Mike with this music and now you punishing me with it?
- 18:57Speaker 1: How does it feel? It's funny, and it's funny. I
- 18:59Speaker 1: love this song man, all right.
- 19:02Speaker 3: The way this works is things you want to keep
- 19:04Speaker 3: for twenty twenty six and then things you want to
- 19:06Speaker 3: get rid of. So so far I want to bring
- 19:09Speaker 3: in normalizing using a sunshade in your car if it's
- 19:12Speaker 3: a hot day and you want to protect the dashboard.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Yes, which is very responsible. By the way, I'm a
- 19:16Speaker 1: responsible guy. Did you have an out there? An example out?
- 19:20Speaker 3: The only out I could think of was banana milk? Oh,
- 19:23Speaker 3: my god, get rid of banana milk.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Actually, go man, banana milk is fine. See. And this
- 19:27Speaker 1: is the interesting thing is you've got a whole lot
- 19:29Speaker 1: of outs, right, I got a heap of grete out.
- 19:31Speaker 1: All I could think of was inns. I really respect that.
- 19:33Speaker 1: That shows a positive mindset. Yeah, I think your g
- 19:37Speaker 1: nah because you're really negative. But you go, man, get
- 19:39Speaker 1: up at six? Okay? Should we go in and in
- 19:41Speaker 1: and then ins and ins and then outs for outs?
- 19:44Speaker 1: Also text yours on three for three three four eight three.
- 19:46Speaker 3: I've got really bigger to give away. Now we'll just
- 19:48Speaker 3: just go whatever.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Okay. First m for twenty twenty six bonuless pants.
- 19:54Speaker 3: We talked about this at the tennis and we did
- 19:55Speaker 3: talk about this at the tennis. Se In for me
- 19:57Speaker 3: is normalizing having a pants semi, which is so you
- 20:00Speaker 3: want to normalize it, yeah, I want to make it
- 20:03Speaker 3: so if you sit down, min yeah, and men don't
- 20:05Speaker 3: know what you're talking about, and you sit down, your
- 20:07Speaker 3: pants come.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Up a wee breaker, they pucker, and the crutch, the
- 20:09Speaker 1: front of your crutch puckers, and it looks like you.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Have pitched a tint. Pitched a tint. Everyone knows you
- 20:15Speaker 3: haven't normalize it, normalize it. But that way, if you
- 20:19Speaker 3: do see something, that way people can be hiding in
- 20:22Speaker 3: plain sight.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Yours is probably a more efficient way, like just normalizing it.
- 20:25Speaker 1: I'm saying, get rid of those pants that do that altogether.
- 20:28Speaker 3: No, no, no, keep them and just normalize it. Okay,
- 20:31Speaker 3: accidental semi pants.
- 20:33Speaker 1: I want to normalized, valid, valid, all right, So we're
- 20:35Speaker 1: going into out that. We'll do it out. Just do whatever, okay,
- 20:38Speaker 1: So mine is not breaking the seal when you're having beers.
- 20:41Speaker 1: I'm so sick of this yarn. I'm so sick to
- 20:45Speaker 1: go wheeze when I've had a couple of beers, and
- 20:46Speaker 1: it's like, well, I'll breaking the seal. No one cares,
- 20:49Speaker 1: but literally but I don't even notice it. Man, No,
- 20:54Speaker 1: it has the.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Thing because when you break the seal, it means all
- 20:57Speaker 3: the beers have gone through your system, responsible beers, and
- 21:00Speaker 3: now you're up to pretty much every beer you have.
- 21:02Speaker 3: You gotta go wheeze, but no stretch you leagues go
- 21:06Speaker 3: for a week, come back and every yarn.
- 21:08Speaker 1: It's all good.
- 21:09Speaker 3: No, it's all good. It's just like, damn it. Now
- 21:10Speaker 3: I have to go to the toilet all the time,
- 21:11Speaker 3: whereas before I just had three or four very responsible beers,
- 21:14Speaker 3: light beers, low alcohol bears.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Blowing your bladder up for no reason and being uncomfortable
- 21:19Speaker 1: at the tables. I don't know that, dumb, I don't
- 21:21Speaker 1: do that good.
- 21:23Speaker 3: Like I'll just say, oh damn, I've got to go
- 21:24Speaker 3: break the sealp out, Okay, fair enough, and there's your opinions.
- 21:27Speaker 3: Three four eight three. Feel free to have your safe
- 21:30Speaker 3: a wallet chains. I want them to come in.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Did you see mine? I swear on my life I've
- 21:38Speaker 1: got I found when I went home over Christmas, I
- 21:40Speaker 1: found my old dirty dog volcrow wallet had a chain thing,
- 21:43Speaker 1: banged a chain on it.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Of course, of course you have a wallet chain. Do
- 21:48Speaker 3: you know what the reason why I want wallet chains
- 21:50Speaker 3: to come back in which is when you have your
- 21:51Speaker 3: wallet in your back pocket and a chain runs on
- 21:53Speaker 3: your side of your hip down to mid thigh up
- 21:56Speaker 3: to like the front.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Of your pants. Yeah, you can't lose it.
- 21:59Speaker 3: You can't lose it. I think a it looks sick
- 22:03Speaker 3: b super handy.
- 22:04Speaker 4: Man.
- 22:04Speaker 3: If someone's trying to steal your wallet it's chained on. Yeah,
- 22:07Speaker 3: that ain't going anywhere. Feel free to have your say.
- 22:09Speaker 3: In New Zealand three four eight three, you've got Reburger
- 22:11Speaker 3: to give away. What about this one here in smoking
- 22:15Speaker 3: Darts out Kesey's nasally voice. I don't know if I
- 22:20Speaker 3: agree with that one.
- 22:22Speaker 1: We could revisit this later, maybe because I've got a
- 22:24Speaker 1: few to go so if we get some really good
- 22:26Speaker 1: ones on three for eight three, we can read some
- 22:27Speaker 1: of those out too. Sounds good. Queen's and the Stone
- 22:29Speaker 1: Age because hid Uky Breakers showing.
- 22:31Speaker 2: The Hidiarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hurdarchy.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Seven twenty five on the Hidarky Breakfast Show. The Black
- 22:38Speaker 3: Keys there with Gold on the ceiling. You've got Keysy
- 22:40Speaker 3: and Pugs for your Thursday morning Final day covering Bricky
- 22:43Speaker 3: for us Tomorrow four pm. The Big Show is back,
- 22:45Speaker 3: so make sure you do tune in Pugs. We're currently
- 22:48Speaker 3: giving away a boat. It is a fantastic brand new
- 22:52Speaker 3: finn Chaser five three five centeconsole. It's got a mix
- 22:55Speaker 3: Mercury sixty horse four stroke outboard and avoid a trailer
- 22:58Speaker 3: and a whole list of sweet extras. Kid to Hodaki
- 23:01Speaker 3: dot co dot ins it if you want to see
- 23:02Speaker 3: the full list.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Thank god it's got that outboard, because if it didn't,
- 23:05Speaker 1: I wouldn't be interested. I just say that if it
- 23:07Speaker 1: didn't have a motor, if it didn't have that outboard
- 23:09Speaker 1: that you just said that really that the Mercury sixty
- 23:11Speaker 1: horse for stress, the Mercury one. That's why I'm into it.
- 23:14Speaker 3: God, you know your boat's Pugs. It is available. If
- 23:17Speaker 3: you want to win it, text the word boat to
- 23:19Speaker 3: three four eight three follow the link. All you have
- 23:21Speaker 3: to do is come up with a name for that boat. However,
- 23:23Speaker 3: if you win, that name will be written on the
- 23:25Speaker 3: side of the boat. So boat to three four eight three.
- 23:28Speaker 3: Don't just send in the name you want boat to
- 23:30Speaker 3: three four eight three.
- 23:32Speaker 1: See, this is really disappointing because somebody's texting here a
- 23:35Speaker 1: name that I really like, right, which is bat Boats
- 23:39Speaker 1: of All Time?
- 23:41Speaker 3: Well it is the boat.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what I mean. Yeah, but that doesn't
- 23:44Speaker 1: mean shit because they've texted and not text boat to
- 23:47Speaker 1: three four eight three and then entered it the correct way.
- 23:49Speaker 1: So you're right, that doesn't count and they're not in
- 23:50Speaker 1: the drawer for the seventy five thousand dollars buat. That's right.
- 23:53Speaker 3: So if you have at any point, and there's been
- 23:54Speaker 3: thousands of you, just text through the name. Don't do that,
- 23:57Speaker 3: text the word boat. Just on sign three four eight three.
- 24:00Speaker 3: Get yourself from the drawer that way. I mentioned yesterday
- 24:02Speaker 3: Pugs that there's a boat around the corner from my
- 24:04Speaker 3: house called the Greasy Garnard.
- 24:05Speaker 1: And I love the name. I really like that.
- 24:07Speaker 3: Yeah, and the boat is also really ugly. It's like
- 24:10Speaker 3: an eighties beige and brown boat.
- 24:13Speaker 1: It's cool.
- 24:14Speaker 3: It's cool because it's so ugly and the name is
- 24:17Speaker 3: so silly. I'm like, I love that boat. While we
- 24:20Speaker 3: were on holiday and the Coramandal there, it was my
- 24:22Speaker 3: south my waf Mania stir it from the Breakfast Show
- 24:25Speaker 3: and his partner as well.
- 24:26Speaker 1: My wife is Nice Stewart from the Brickfish Show Pugs.
- 24:30Speaker 3: Yes, while we were in the Coramanda, we were kind
- 24:33Speaker 3: of steamed. We had a few responsible light beverages and
- 24:36Speaker 3: we were cruising down to the fish and chip shop
- 24:38Speaker 3: to get an ice cream. And while we're walking down there,
- 24:41Speaker 3: we started a hypothetical goodie gum drops. While we're walking
- 24:48Speaker 3: down there, we started a hypothetical conversation as to if
- 24:51Speaker 3: we were to open a fish and chip store, Yes,
- 24:54Speaker 3: what would we call it? We agreed on the Greasy
- 24:56Speaker 3: Girnard would be the great name for a fish and
- 24:58Speaker 3: chip show exactly. And we were like, and so we're
- 25:00Speaker 3: running it, like, what would everyone's roles be?
- 25:02Speaker 1: Sort of thing? Right? We agreed that my.
- 25:04Speaker 3: Wife Lucy would be front of house, should be greeting
- 25:06Speaker 3: the customers, maybe rolling the ice creams as well, should
- 25:10Speaker 3: then put the orders through to I think Mania's partner
- 25:14Speaker 3: Jess was in charge of prepping the like the buns
- 25:19Speaker 3: and the lettuce and stuff for the burgers or something.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Man, I was on the grill.
- 25:23Speaker 3: You guys are on the grease work. Yeah, Me and
- 25:25Speaker 3: and I were out back like cooking. Yeah, and I
- 25:27Speaker 3: think I was running the fryer or something too.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Standing next to each other. Do look like a couple
- 25:31Speaker 1: of dudes that I've encountered at the local fish and
- 25:33Speaker 1: chip shop. That is kitchen there? Incredibly offensive? Yeah? I
- 25:37Speaker 1: think I have no idea. It's a huge compliment.
- 25:40Speaker 4: Yeah it is.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Do you ever have hypotheticals like that all the time? Really? Yeah?
- 25:44Speaker 1: Give us an example, No, I can't think of one.
- 25:47Speaker 2: The Hidiarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hod.
- 25:51Speaker 3: Lenny Kravitz on the Hidarky Brick for show twenty minutes
- 25:53Speaker 3: to eight this Thursday morning with Kezy and Pugs, and
- 25:56Speaker 3: we are about to dish out the double passes, the
- 25:58Speaker 3: final double passes for twenty eight Years Later, The Bone Temple.
- 26:02Speaker 3: It is the fourth installment in the twenty eight Days
- 26:04Speaker 3: Later series. Yeah, if you'd like one text through now
- 26:07Speaker 3: three four eight, three, who you'd like to take to
- 26:09Speaker 3: the Bone Temple? And we'll be dishing those out shortly
- 26:12Speaker 3: in cinemas today.
- 26:14Speaker 4: Now.
- 26:14Speaker 3: The interesting thing about this flick, Pugs, is that out
- 26:17Speaker 3: of all four of the twenty eight Days Later movies
- 26:21Speaker 3: in the franchise, yes, this one debuted with the highest
- 26:24Speaker 3: rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which is our film review website.
- 26:27Speaker 1: Yes, so, and I was surprised by that.
- 26:29Speaker 3: Because it's the fourth installment in a movie series, which
- 26:33Speaker 3: famously is usually terrible.
- 26:35Speaker 1: One hundred percent. A lot of the time, you have
- 26:37Speaker 1: a trilogy that's usually pretty decent, maybe the third one
- 26:40Speaker 1: it starts to drop off, and then the fourth is
- 26:42Speaker 1: just absolute garbage. Then trying to revive and get whatever,
- 26:45Speaker 1: squeeze whatever cash they can out of a franchise. Yeah,
- 26:48Speaker 1: but when you said that, it did get me thinking
- 26:50Speaker 1: about the fourth movies in all of these franchises and
- 26:54Speaker 1: whether there is actually any good ones.
- 26:56Speaker 3: What the best fourth movie in a franchise is of
- 26:59Speaker 3: all time?
- 26:59Speaker 1: Percent one hundred percent. So there's a list on IMDb,
- 27:02Speaker 1: which is another famous movie rating and information website, And
- 27:05Speaker 1: so I thought i'd blast you through the top ten,
- 27:07Speaker 1: all right, start with ten, get down to one. So
- 27:10Speaker 1: number ten is Rambo Rambo four. Rambo four. That was
- 27:14Speaker 1: a revival of a series that brought back to Vista stallone.
- 27:17Speaker 1: No this one. They went very very violent. I remember
- 27:20Speaker 1: I remember that, yeah, yeah, yeah, and it was it
- 27:22Speaker 1: was a bit random, but I remember that being shit okay.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Number nine, The Pink Panther Strikes Again seventy six. Not
- 27:29Speaker 1: familiar with that.
- 27:30Speaker 3: From nineteen seventy six they made four okay, yeah.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Not familiar. Number eight, Live Free or die Hard Bruce Willis,
- 27:37Speaker 1: I've heard that that one wasn't too bad. Actually I
- 27:39Speaker 1: watched it many times. I bought on DVD because I'm
- 27:41Speaker 1: a huge I was a huge fan of the die
- 27:42Speaker 1: Hard franchise as a kid. It was not good. Okay,
- 27:45Speaker 1: it was quite bad. It was like them being like
- 27:47Speaker 1: technology bad and technology is the reason that everything's going bad,
- 27:50Speaker 1: and this and the ruins.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Yeah, so's a hacker or whatever. So it's the eighth
- 27:55Speaker 3: best fourth movie of all time and you thought it
- 27:57Speaker 3: was bad.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Yes, well this is kind of proving our point, right,
- 28:00Speaker 1: there's a lot of these are not generally not very good.
- 28:02Speaker 1: At number seven Star Trek for the Voyage Home. Not
- 28:05Speaker 1: familiar with that franchise. That's eighty six that came out.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Number six, Jurassic.
- 28:09Speaker 3: World, that went pretty hard. I enjoyed it because it
- 28:14Speaker 3: was a return to I love Jurassic Park.
- 28:15Speaker 1: I love them too.
- 28:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not a fan of the otherwise like that. Fine,
- 28:18Speaker 3: but the first one rules it still holds up.
- 28:21Speaker 1: That was cool.
- 28:22Speaker 3: But this is the issue I've got with that is
- 28:24Speaker 3: it was like twenty years between drinks. Of course, that
- 28:26Speaker 3: fourth movie is going to be okay because it's not
- 28:28Speaker 3: directly after the third one and they aren't directly trying
- 28:31Speaker 3: to squeeze too much out of it.
- 28:32Speaker 1: Yes, and it was exciting and it was a great,
- 28:34Speaker 1: big blockbuster, So fine of that. Number five, Mission Impossible,
- 28:37Speaker 1: Ghost Protocol eleven. The Mission Impossibles go okay. Actually, yeah,
- 28:42Speaker 1: they're good. They're all generally pretty good in my opinion.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Number four Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire my
- 28:47Speaker 1: favorite Harry.
- 28:48Speaker 3: Potter, A lot of people's favorite Harry Potter movie. And
- 28:50Speaker 3: there's seven books to go off, so I feel like
- 28:52Speaker 3: Harry Potter or any sort of movie franchise based on
- 28:55Speaker 3: a novel series. Yes, they've got a bit of leeway there,
- 28:58Speaker 3: and I'm not surprised that that's the top five.
- 29:00Speaker 1: That is a banger movie. Number three The Muppet Christmas Carol.
- 29:04Speaker 1: There's been four of them. But how is that the
- 29:07Speaker 1: third best fourth installment and a franchise of all time?
- 29:10Speaker 3: Very confusing sentence. Yes, I agree, So there's been there's
- 29:13Speaker 3: heaps of Muppet movies. That must have been the fourth one,
- 29:15Speaker 3: I guess. But the Muppet movie is rule. I have
- 29:18Speaker 3: not seen that one, not since I was a kid.
- 29:19Speaker 3: I can't see any of them.
- 29:20Speaker 1: No, they're really good, Okay from what I remember. Knowing
- 29:23Speaker 1: your taste of movies and what you generally watch, I'm
- 29:26Speaker 1: inclined to be skeptical, but I'm excited. Nonetheless, how do you?
- 29:30Speaker 1: Number two? The Hobbit and an Unexpected Journey, So this
- 29:34Speaker 1: is a post return of the King. I don't know
- 29:35Speaker 1: if that entirely counts. That's not a fourth movie, that's
- 29:38Speaker 1: you Hobbit franchise. Yeah, no, that's not the fourth. That's
- 29:41Speaker 1: a random one that doesn't make sense. This is what
- 29:43Speaker 1: I mean. They're obviously not very good. Yes, and then
- 29:47Speaker 1: number one and the best fourth films and a franchise
- 29:50Speaker 1: as Mad Max Fury Road, which Banger Now you and
- 29:56Speaker 1: Mike Minogue have specifically said, Kezy, you will love this film.
- 29:58Speaker 1: You need to watch it one hundred, especially given that
- 30:01Speaker 1: you're a massive motor head.
- 30:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I love old cars. And it's also just like
- 30:05Speaker 1: it's testosterone fueled gnally action, which is what two and
- 30:10Speaker 1: a half hours straight, which is exactly like you, which is.
- 30:13Speaker 3: The kezy recipe. Yeah, okay, that's great. I've heard that's
- 30:16Speaker 3: a great movie. I will watch it. I want to
- 30:18Speaker 3: watch it loud on a massive screen, and.
- 30:20Speaker 1: I'm of my favorites of all time and i will
- 30:22Speaker 1: do That's great.
- 30:22Speaker 3: It's not the fourth installment that Max is from thirty
- 30:25Speaker 3: years ago. That is a reboot.
- 30:27Speaker 1: It is a reboot, but it's also the fourth installment
- 30:29Speaker 1: because it's a continuation of the story.
- 30:33Speaker 3: Pugs, we don't have time to have this argument now
- 30:34Speaker 3: because we're into it five minutes, but I will be
- 30:37Speaker 3: tearing shreds off.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Of you in the air break the Hurdarchy Big Show
- 30:41Speaker 2: week days from four on Radio.
- 30:43Speaker 3: Hdarchy Silver Chair on a song open Fire on the
- 30:48Speaker 3: Breakfast Show with Pugs and Keysy.
- 30:49Speaker 4: Do you like that?
- 30:49Speaker 1: Pugs?
- 30:51Speaker 3: No, Hey, Pugs, we are officially shutting off the entries
- 30:55Speaker 3: into the twenty eight years Later the Bone Temple competition.
- 30:58Speaker 3: We've got double passes to give away. Pugs will text
- 31:01Speaker 3: you back shortly and so that you have won a
- 31:03Speaker 3: double pass. Thanks everyone to who got involved with that competition.
- 31:06Speaker 3: Now coming up after eight o'clock, we are going to
- 31:09Speaker 3: be calling a great friend of Radio Hodarchy. Hi, Joe Wheeler.
- 31:13Speaker 3: He is playing in the Black Clash this very Saturday.
- 31:16Speaker 3: He's played up note I don't know if he's played
- 31:18Speaker 3: every single one, but he's played in a fair few
- 31:19Speaker 3: of them. He's got a good right arm on him
- 31:22Speaker 3: and he can bat pretty down well as well Old Joey.
- 31:24Speaker 3: So we'll have a yard to him just after eight o'clock. Also,
- 31:26Speaker 3: we will be picking up the things that are in
- 31:28Speaker 3: and out for twenty twenty six. If you'd like to
- 31:31Speaker 3: get rid of anything this coming year or Cat'll bring something.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Back this year.
- 31:36Speaker 3: Yeah, text it through on three four eight three and
- 31:38Speaker 3: we'll get into that after eight. Is saying I a
- 31:40Speaker 3: new thing for you instead of yes.
- 31:43Speaker 5: Hi.
- 31:46Speaker 2: The Hold Arching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
- 31:49Speaker 2: tune in week days at four on Radio hold Ike.
- 31:56Speaker 3: It is the Hodarchy Big Show in the morning. Kezy
- 31:59Speaker 3: and Pugs are here. No Mogi or Hoidy J. However,
- 32:02Speaker 3: good news. Pugs, Mogi and Hoody J will both be
- 32:05Speaker 3: back with us tomorrow afternoon four pm for the first
- 32:08Speaker 3: big show of twenty twenty six. We're doing it live
- 32:11Speaker 3: from Bruco Mount Monganui. Bit of a warm up for
- 32:14Speaker 3: the Black Clash which is happening on the SAT de
- 32:16Speaker 3: How fuzzy to have the team back to get him, man.
- 32:18Speaker 1: I'm very first to have the team back. I'm looking
- 32:20Speaker 1: forward to catching up with those two. I have seen
- 32:22Speaker 1: Mogi in the new year, but I haven't seen Hooty j.
- 32:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:24Speaker 1: He looks good, Man, he looks good.
- 32:26Speaker 3: I was with him yesterday, played golf with them.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:29Speaker 3: It was trying to know twenty eight degrees and our
- 32:32Speaker 3: golf course is pretty much completely uphill. Yeah, and he
- 32:35Speaker 3: chose to wear Chino's.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Did he turn that unique shade of purple that he
- 32:38Speaker 1: chends to get in summer?
- 32:40Speaker 3: He was close to fainting by the end of it
- 32:43Speaker 3: because it was so hot and it was such a
- 32:44Speaker 3: steep cause. But he still almost broke his personal best.
- 32:48Speaker 3: Like he's playing very very good golf at the moment.
- 32:50Speaker 3: He's very relaxed. So as soon as he's back working again,
- 32:54Speaker 3: I'm expecting his golf scores to drop right off.
- 32:56Speaker 1: Perfect.
- 32:58Speaker 3: But if you are keen to come along to the
- 32:59Speaker 3: first big show of the y Bruco Mount Manganui tomorrow
- 33:02Speaker 3: afternoon four pm, it will be live until seven free
- 33:05Speaker 3: backbone T's and big show broadcasting live of course, plus
- 33:09Speaker 3: guests from the Black Clash coming to say gooday. And
- 33:11Speaker 3: speaking of guests, Pugs coming up next, great friend of
- 33:15Speaker 3: Radio Hdarky and a multi time athlete who has been
- 33:19Speaker 3: involved with the Black Clash. We're talking Joey Wheeler. We're
- 33:21Speaker 3: going to give him a buzz after some sick tunes.
- 33:24Speaker 3: Ah yeah, Lincoln.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Park, That's what I'm talking about. Hell yeah. First thing
- 33:28Speaker 1: in the morning, love it.
- 33:29Speaker 2: You're on Hoducky the Darchy Big Show weekdays from four
- 33:34Speaker 2: on Radio Hodarky.
- 33:35Speaker 3: That hole surfers on the Hodocky Breakfast Show with Keezy
- 33:38Speaker 3: and Pugs Son thirteen minutes past eight to this Thursday
- 33:41Speaker 3: morning and very exciting times Pugs. Every single year we
- 33:45Speaker 3: kind of have our welcome back party in the form
- 33:48Speaker 3: of the Hot Spring SPA T twenty Black Clash and
- 33:50Speaker 3: association with Wolfbrook. It's happening this Saturday at Bay Oval, Todung.
- 33:54Speaker 3: It's some tickets still available. Head to Black Clash dot
- 33:57Speaker 3: co dot zeit. It will sell out, so get in.
- 34:00Speaker 3: And with that in mind, we have got a person
- 34:03Speaker 3: who's played in the Black Class several times and done
- 34:06Speaker 3: very well as well from Team Rugby.
- 34:08Speaker 1: It is Joey Wheeler.
- 34:09Speaker 3: Good morning, Joey, Yeah, Keezy pug Son.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Great to be on looking.
- 34:13Speaker 5: Forward to this week in a little bit nervous, a
- 34:15Speaker 5: little bit apprehensive fellas, but you're looking forward to it
- 34:18Speaker 5: once again, right, So how.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Many times have you played in the black class Joey,
- 34:23Speaker 1: good question.
- 34:24Speaker 4: I think that's my fourth time, right, third or fourth time?
- 34:27Speaker 3: Yeah, and you still have the nerves. Why do you
- 34:29Speaker 3: think that is?
- 34:31Speaker 5: Because, Keaty, it's the first time I pick up a
- 34:33Speaker 5: cricket bat in twelve months every year and the only time.
- 34:38Speaker 4: That's pretty much why. And you're bowling.
- 34:40Speaker 5: You're running in bowling to your childhood heroes and getting
- 34:44Speaker 5: pumped all over Hegley Oval or Bayoval.
- 34:47Speaker 4: So yeah, that's why the nerves mate, Yeah, right, you.
- 34:50Speaker 5: Know, and getting embarrassed in front of probably you know,
- 34:53Speaker 5: I don't know how many thousands of hundreds of thousands
- 34:55Speaker 5: of people on television.
- 34:56Speaker 4: But that's okay, Well, it's all on the love and
- 35:00Speaker 4: good spirits, isn't it.
- 35:00Speaker 3: I'll just correct you there, Joey. It's not in front
- 35:02Speaker 3: of hundreds of thousands of people, it's over a million.
- 35:05Speaker 3: You realize that day O good stuff. Plenty of people
- 35:11Speaker 3: watching overseas to Joe.
- 35:12Speaker 4: So all right, yeah that's even better again.
- 35:17Speaker 3: Plus well you know you'll clop up the footage'll put
- 35:18Speaker 3: it on social media. That'll get millions of views too.
- 35:21Speaker 4: Suted out ipl contracts will be rolling in left.
- 35:26Speaker 1: Joey.
- 35:26Speaker 3: I've I personally have had quite an indulgent New Year period.
- 35:30Speaker 3: A lot of eating basically every breakfast is ambrosia or pavlover,
- 35:36Speaker 3: a lot of very responsible consumption of beverages. How are
- 35:39Speaker 3: you physically health wise going into this game? Are you
- 35:42Speaker 3: in a similar state to me?
- 35:45Speaker 4: You know, obviously you always over indulge over this period
- 35:48Speaker 4: of time. Look, I've tried to tick things over, KIVI.
- 35:53Speaker 5: I certainly haven't gone full New Year's resolution and hit
- 35:57Speaker 5: the gym every day of January so far, but yeah,
- 36:01Speaker 5: have been conscious that have got a game coming up,
- 36:04Speaker 5: so I've tried to tick over the case on the leagues.
- 36:07Speaker 5: But you know, I'm never in fantastic nick anyway, mate.
- 36:10Speaker 5: So it's not going to be any oil painting. It's
- 36:13Speaker 5: not like some bloke with a six peck's going to
- 36:15Speaker 5: be running around out there now.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Joey, we had a head of Team Cricket on yesterday,
- 36:21Speaker 1: Nathan McCullum, and he made the very outrageous suggestion that
- 36:26Speaker 1: all it would take to throw you off your game
- 36:28Speaker 1: would be to hand you a microphone and stick a
- 36:30Speaker 1: camera in front of your face. What kind of resistance
- 36:33Speaker 1: will you employed to counter that on the big day?
- 36:38Speaker 4: Yeah, nice, hey, old nice. I'll be very focused this year.
- 36:42Speaker 5: If I'm having to take the new chain of running
- 36:44Speaker 5: into juicy Rhino, who could plaster be everywhere so the
- 36:47Speaker 5: news would be running ob we certainly will even camera
- 36:50Speaker 5: crew come near me as far away as possible.
- 36:53Speaker 4: I'll give you the tip.
- 36:54Speaker 3: Well, that's the thing, Joey you've got. We're talking to
- 36:57Speaker 3: Joey Wheeler, who's playing in the Black Class this weekend
- 36:59Speaker 3: from Team Rugby up against Team Cricket. And there are
- 37:01Speaker 3: a few big names joining this year, one of which,
- 37:04Speaker 3: as you mentioned, Jesse Ryder, who you type in Jesse Ryder,
- 37:08Speaker 3: you know, into the Google there and you're going to
- 37:10Speaker 3: be hit with just a million highlights of him slapping sixes.
- 37:13Speaker 3: Are you a bit worried about rolling the old arm
- 37:15Speaker 3: over to Jesse?
- 37:17Speaker 4: Yeah, i am.
- 37:18Speaker 5: I'm seriously concerned because the last time I bumped into
- 37:21Speaker 5: Jesse Rider. This is a great story was each year
- 37:23Speaker 5: had a I was playing I think it was the
- 37:26Speaker 5: under seventeen's Nationals with CD and Jesse stumbled in on
- 37:32Speaker 5: I think it was early hours of the first of
- 37:34Speaker 5: January and was absolutely hammered. The next day he hit
- 37:39Speaker 5: a cricket game for the Stags. That morning he went
- 37:43Speaker 5: out and blasted one hundred and twenty.
- 37:44Speaker 4: So even after a.
- 37:47Speaker 5: Huge night on the gas, Jesse Ryder can still produce
- 37:50Speaker 5: the goods. So you know, like when you think about
- 37:53Speaker 5: maybe trying to stitch them up in the pre match
- 37:56Speaker 5: festivities the night before.
- 37:58Speaker 4: I don't think that'll work. That might actually get the
- 38:00Speaker 4: best out of him.
- 38:01Speaker 3: Well that's the thing that almost makes his powers even stronger,
- 38:04Speaker 3: because I was going to say, it'll be very similar
- 38:06Speaker 3: conditions this weekend for the Black Clash from what I've heard,
- 38:09Speaker 3: Joey or are those rumors about you guys having a
- 38:11Speaker 3: big one the night before they false?
- 38:13Speaker 5: Oh look, I can't confirm all, Tony, but what I
- 38:16Speaker 5: can confirm is that a steam coach mister Lee Hart
- 38:20Speaker 5: does employ some rather questionable technics, is how I'd put it,
- 38:24Speaker 5: and usually that involves a couple of tequila shots and
- 38:27Speaker 5: a team meeting at around about one am the night
- 38:31Speaker 5: before the gap or the.
- 38:32Speaker 4: Morning of the morning of the game, where he.
- 38:35Speaker 5: Proceeds to then dress down the side and also as
- 38:40Speaker 5: the innovative that he is, last year, he questioned the
- 38:43Speaker 5: batting order that retail had produced at a barlina at
- 38:47Speaker 5: one am, and he actually flipped that. He said, and
- 38:50Speaker 5: I quote, everyone's here to see Chris Gale, but I'm
- 38:53Speaker 5: an innovator, so I'm going to flip the order, and
- 38:55Speaker 5: Chris Gale is now batting ten. So those of the
- 38:59Speaker 5: sort of technic that Team Rugby look to employed to
- 39:02Speaker 5: try to throw.
- 39:03Speaker 4: Off Team Cricket because they are on a hot streak
- 39:05Speaker 4: and we need to win one. Boys, we need a
- 39:07Speaker 4: win one.
- 39:07Speaker 1: Holy yeah, you do need a win one.
- 39:09Speaker 3: Even an innovator like Lee Hard you know you're still
- 39:11Speaker 3: struggling to get the very best out of you guys.
- 39:13Speaker 1: But look, if you.
- 39:14Speaker 4: Think, give me big nutsmellers.
- 39:18Speaker 3: If you do want to go along and see it,
- 39:20Speaker 3: as I said, there are still some tickets available black
- 39:22Speaker 3: Clash dot co dots in. Otherwise you can watch it
- 39:24Speaker 3: live and free on TV ins in one and tvans
- 39:26Speaker 3: in plus Joey Wheeler, thank you so much for joining
- 39:29Speaker 3: us this morning, mate, and go well on the Big
- 39:31Speaker 3: Game on.
- 39:31Speaker 4: SATDY Yeah, thanks mate.
- 39:33Speaker 5: Hopefully I don't get the yips say on national television
- 39:36Speaker 5: hair good?
- 39:36Speaker 1: How about this? You get the yips and I'll get
- 39:38Speaker 1: the nips out.
- 39:39Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 39:39Speaker 5: Get this?
- 39:40Speaker 4: Please meet Penny. That'd be a real highlight. I don't
- 39:43Speaker 4: know who'll be.
- 39:44Speaker 1: More embarrassed, you or me. It'll be me and my family. Joey,
- 39:49Speaker 1: good to talk to you this morning. Brother. All right, mate,
- 39:53Speaker 1: here is some inky of us. Nice to know you.
- 39:55Speaker 1: You're on the Huducky.
- 39:56Speaker 2: Breakfast, The Hierarchy Big Show, week days four on Radio HODAK.
- 40:01Speaker 3: One of the all time great road tchip songs there
- 40:03Speaker 3: Smashing Pumpkins nineteen seventy nine. It is twenty eight minutes
- 40:06Speaker 3: past eight this Thursday morning with Keisy and Pugs, and
- 40:09Speaker 3: it's time to continue with the ins and outs for
- 40:11Speaker 3: twenty twenty six. Great sting Pugs, nice work the ins
- 40:17Speaker 3: and outs?
- 40:18Speaker 1: What is that I hear you ask?
- 40:19Speaker 3: Basically, what are you keen to bring in for twenty
- 40:21Speaker 3: twenty six and what are you keen to get rid
- 40:23Speaker 3: of and leave in twenty twenty five. So some examples
- 40:27Speaker 3: Pugs I wanted to bring in using sunshades again and
- 40:31Speaker 3: the wind and the windshield of your car when it's
- 40:33Speaker 3: really hot, keiving it cool in there, you park it,
- 40:35Speaker 3: you put the reflective sunshade up and it protects your
- 40:38Speaker 3: dash from cracking. Someone on three four eight three has
- 40:41Speaker 3: actually gone on to extend that, Adam from Gizzie, screw
- 40:46Speaker 3: the sunshade, bring back dash carpet. Oh so my nineteen
- 40:52Speaker 3: eighty two hold in Comodore that I strive that had
- 40:55Speaker 3: brown dash carpet that sat on top of the dashboard
- 40:58Speaker 3: and like matched it perf and was so eight it
- 41:02Speaker 3: was also brown.
- 41:03Speaker 1: What was the purpose of that to protect a dashboard?
- 41:05Speaker 1: Is that? What it is protecting against the sun? You
- 41:08Speaker 1: put carpet on there.
- 41:09Speaker 3: Especially, it's like a mat that you can lift off.
- 41:11Speaker 3: It's perfectly molded to your dash and it sits on top.
- 41:13Speaker 3: This is back in the eighties when the dashboards were
- 41:15Speaker 3: really square, right, and the plastic and stuff from back
- 41:18Speaker 3: then gets destroyed by the sun. Yes, And so you know,
- 41:21Speaker 3: you either put the sun shade up or you put
- 41:23Speaker 3: the dash carpet down. Love your thinking, Adam.
- 41:26Speaker 1: I'm keen okay, so now me for an in shallow
- 41:30Speaker 1: go in for twenty twenty six. Reclaiming the word tart.
- 41:36Speaker 3: You want to bring back tart.
- 41:37Speaker 1: I want tart to be an endaring word.
- 41:38Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure my mum still sees the word tart.
- 41:41Speaker 1: Yeah, my mum uses it too, but she's talking about
- 41:43Speaker 1: my high school lex girlfriend when she says it. Oh right,
- 41:46Speaker 1: I think mine is too. She was a tarty. That's
- 41:49Speaker 1: what my mum says. You know what I mean. I
- 41:50Speaker 1: think we need to reclaim it in a way that's
- 41:51Speaker 1: a little more positive. Hell, just because the tart like
- 41:54Speaker 1: we love like a little dessert tart, a gem tart,
- 41:57Speaker 1: little gem tart, or like me, Ah, you're cheeky tart,
- 41:59Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Like something like that. I
- 42:01Speaker 1: think that's nice. You know what I want to bring back. Actually,
- 42:03Speaker 1: this is reminded me in Yeah, the word pillock pellic banger.
- 42:08Speaker 1: My mum also uses that word.
- 42:09Speaker 3: My pop used to call me a pillock when I
- 42:11Speaker 3: was being naughty. Oh your pillock. That's I don't know,
- 42:15Speaker 3: it's probably probably offensive. So let's bring back tart and pillock.
- 42:20Speaker 1: Right, let's do an out. Do you want to go first?
- 42:22Speaker 5: There?
- 42:23Speaker 1: You go write my next out two plus day New
- 42:27Speaker 1: Year's music festivals too long, too long, get rid of them.
- 42:30Speaker 1: One ideal if.
- 42:33Speaker 3: One big one, one big one and maybe do you
- 42:35Speaker 3: want a day after or a day before day after?
- 42:37Speaker 1: So two nights, two nights of camping, pack it in? Yeah,
- 42:41Speaker 1: all right.
- 42:42Speaker 3: I want to bring something in. Phones clipped to your
- 42:45Speaker 3: belt like my dad used to have, and a little
- 42:48Speaker 3: sort of like rubber plastic sea through case thing.
- 42:51Speaker 1: Do you know feel like that runs a risk? Yeah,
- 42:54Speaker 1: having a glass phone screen, because obviously it worked if
- 42:56Speaker 1: you had the little flippies. Yeah, okay, bring back flippies.
- 43:00Speaker 1: You know what. I want to agree? I agree?
- 43:01Speaker 3: And I had this rant at the end of last
- 43:03Speaker 3: year and it makes me sound like a boomer. Yeah,
- 43:05Speaker 3: everything's getting too complicated now. Car screens. If you want
- 43:07Speaker 3: to turn down your air conditioning, you've got to swipe
- 43:10Speaker 3: across to the ear con tab and then and then
- 43:12Speaker 3: use the touch screen. I just want to nob I
- 43:14Speaker 3: remember this, youn Yeah.
- 43:15Speaker 1: Do that.
- 43:15Speaker 3: I want the same with phones. I think my phone's
- 43:17Speaker 3: too distracting and I am weak willed. If I just
- 43:20Speaker 3: had an old Nokia flip phone again, I think my
- 43:22Speaker 3: life would be.
- 43:23Speaker 1: Far better for it. I'd still be playing Snake. Oh
- 43:25Speaker 1: you'd be getting hard on snake too. I'm going hard
- 43:27Speaker 1: on snake too.
- 43:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 43:28Speaker 1: Anything else you'd like to bring in or get rid of, like,
- 43:31Speaker 1: I'll bang them out. Matching beij outfits and white sneakers
- 43:34Speaker 1: both out for twenty twenty six. Pack them in cool.
- 43:36Speaker 3: Okay, you know I've got white sneakers. It's almost exclusively
- 43:39Speaker 3: we're white sneakers. Don't just go quiet, Pugs, don't tune
- 43:44Speaker 3: up the music.
- 43:45Speaker 2: Pugs the Whold King Big Show with Mike and Zy.
- 43:49Speaker 2: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hod Iking
- 43:51Speaker 2: with the Soul on.
- 43:52Speaker 3: The Hood, Ikey Breakfast Show sixteen minutes to night on
- 43:54Speaker 3: this Thursday morning with Keezy and Pugs and this weekend
- 43:57Speaker 3: actually starting tomorrow and CUMI You is the Classic Car
- 44:00Speaker 3: and hot Rod Festival. It is one of the biggest
- 44:02Speaker 3: car festivals in New Zealand. It is an event that
- 44:05Speaker 3: I grew up going to. It is absolutely fantastic, a
- 44:08Speaker 3: three day affair. If you are keen for more information
- 44:11Speaker 3: or to get your tickets, comu You hot Rod Festival
- 44:12Speaker 3: dot co dot nz in Seriously, if you want to
- 44:14Speaker 3: take your kids out for a few hours at the weekend.
- 44:17Speaker 3: Head along to this thing. It'll blow your mind the
- 44:18Speaker 3: stuff you can see there. And not just for a
- 44:20Speaker 3: petrol head like me, Pugs or me.
- 44:23Speaker 1: Yeah, as a total casual exactly. You're I'm a fan
- 44:26Speaker 1: of Yeah.
- 44:27Speaker 3: Okay, we've discussed ins and outs prior. Things we're getting
- 44:31Speaker 3: rid of from twenty twenty five. We want them gone
- 44:34Speaker 3: for twenty twenty six, right, and things we're going to
- 44:36Speaker 3: bring in as well. Plenty of texts coming through On
- 44:38Speaker 3: three four eight three, I suggested bringing back the word pellic.
- 44:41Speaker 3: Someone else is sent through on three four eight three. Plunker.
- 44:44Speaker 3: There's another banger.
- 44:45Speaker 1: It's a great name for Slunker is a great wind
- 44:47Speaker 1: and it's also fairly harmless as well. Yeah, like, it's
- 44:50Speaker 1: not super abrasive to the ears. Ye, Plunker.
- 44:53Speaker 3: You are a plunker, Pugs. So you just said it
- 44:57Speaker 3: was harmless and I called you a plunker. Now you've
- 44:58Speaker 3: gone all quiet. Maybe it is abrasive.
- 45:01Speaker 1: Are you upset?
- 45:02Speaker 3: So you are upset by it? Let's move on, Chris,
- 45:04Speaker 3: Oh my goodness, far eu so abrasive. I also suggested
- 45:08Speaker 3: that having a phone clipped to your belt buckle or
- 45:10Speaker 3: not your buckle but the side of your belt there
- 45:13Speaker 3: is a cool thing, and that we should all go
- 45:14Speaker 3: back to having basic flip phones. Robbie ticks through saying,
- 45:17Speaker 3: you can actually get flip top phones now and they
- 45:19Speaker 3: look cool.
- 45:20Speaker 1: My era was the Sony Ericsson ones, the little They
- 45:24Speaker 1: were kind of slim, but they were still flip tops,
- 45:27Speaker 1: but they were very slim and very cool looking, quite
- 45:29Speaker 1: futuristic looking, and you could either get like lime green
- 45:32Speaker 1: or like a blue one. Right, okay, very dope. Because
- 45:34Speaker 1: I existed, I was right in the hut.
- 45:36Speaker 3: And the sort of the prime of my mobile phone
- 45:40Speaker 3: texting phase in my team years was just as phones
- 45:44Speaker 3: went from sort of a Nokia twenty two eighties like
- 45:48Speaker 3: black and white, play basic screen, playing snake on it,
- 45:50Speaker 3: sending texts by pushing the signature. I don't think so. No,
- 45:56Speaker 3: it's but not at that point. I don't think you
- 45:57Speaker 3: could have them. At that point, you could a text
- 45:59Speaker 3: signature I did, You're so cool, pugs. So I started
- 46:02Speaker 3: at that era, and then by the time I finished
- 46:04Speaker 3: high school, I had like a real cool color screen
- 46:07Speaker 3: flip top phone that could play polyphonic ring tones out loud, dope,
- 46:12Speaker 3: thank you.
- 46:13Speaker 1: It was dope.
- 46:14Speaker 3: So I'd love to go back to that era. Someone else,
- 46:16Speaker 3: Andy has suggested out for twenty twenty six, men under
- 46:20Speaker 3: sixty five wearing sketcher shoes.
- 46:23Speaker 1: I think Sketcher have youngened up their line, their range
- 46:27Speaker 1: a little bit right, and you know some people require
- 46:30Speaker 1: a little more support. Do you know why I read
- 46:32Speaker 1: that one out because Hoidy J exclusively wears sketches. Yeah,
- 46:36Speaker 1: but has a so ugly there's a slip ons as well.
- 46:39Speaker 1: So actually speaking to Hoidy J. Another one here out
- 46:42Speaker 1: Rugby Union and it's shit rules, that's right, John one
- 46:44Speaker 1: hod J that did take umbridge with that. Well. I
- 46:46Speaker 1: think rugby Union is.
- 46:47Speaker 3: Going through a bit of a tough time at the
- 46:48Speaker 3: moment where they're trying to figure out how to make
- 46:50Speaker 3: the game more watchable and free flowing. So fair enough,
- 46:53Speaker 3: if you want to get rid of rugby Union for
- 46:54Speaker 3: twenty twenty six, go for it, might I suggest NRL
- 46:57Speaker 3: It is the greatest game on the planet apparently. Also
- 47:01Speaker 3: a lot of four wheel drives have dash mats. We
- 47:03Speaker 3: were talking about bringing up the dash mat, which is
- 47:05Speaker 3: a piece of carpet that sits on top of your dashboard.
- 47:07Speaker 1: Yes, I used to run a couple of four wheel
- 47:09Speaker 1: drives same they had dash Mett Yeah yeah, really yeah,
- 47:13Speaker 1: oh wow. At least at least a couple of them,
- 47:15Speaker 1: did you Mark.
- 47:16Speaker 3: Wants to get rid of Christopher Key and James Pugsley
- 47:19Speaker 3: on Hodarky and bring in Ariola and the Paddies on Hoducky.
- 47:23Speaker 2: The Darky Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kezy tune in.
- 47:29Speaker 1: Rancid on the Hoducky brick for show. Keezy and Pugs.
- 47:31Speaker 3: It's almost nine am this Thuesday morning, which means it's
- 47:34Speaker 3: just about time for no ed still Smoko, which means
- 47:37Speaker 3: nothing but tunes and yarns for the next hour or
- 47:40Speaker 3: so thanks to our mates at max Raft. Now, Pugs,
- 47:43Speaker 3: something something deeply embarrassing happened to me over the New
- 47:47Speaker 3: Year period. It was on January the second.
- 47:51Speaker 1: It does happen to all of us at least once
- 47:52Speaker 1: in our lives, Keezy, What.
- 47:54Speaker 3: Are you talking about once in our lives? Something embarrassing
- 47:57Speaker 3: had at least once in our life are you talking about?
- 47:59Speaker 3: Because if it's per your pans, I know you've done
- 48:00Speaker 3: that more than once. What happened to me, Pugs On
- 48:04Speaker 3: the second of jan It was approximately ten am. We're
- 48:07Speaker 3: at a batch that we rented in Cookspeech, Corimandel, and
- 48:11Speaker 3: my wife and I and and and I are and
- 48:12Speaker 3: his partner decided that we were going to load the
- 48:15Speaker 3: car up and drive to the parking spot to walk
- 48:18Speaker 3: down to.
- 48:19Speaker 1: Cathedral Cove Love Cathedral Cove.
- 48:21Speaker 4: Yeap.
- 48:21Speaker 3: Really nice day out, really nice weather. We're very excited.
- 48:25Speaker 3: So you walk out of the batch and there is
- 48:28Speaker 3: a patio area or a deck and it's probably three steps.
- 48:32Speaker 1: Above the grass. Yeh, like not a high one, not
- 48:35Speaker 1: even a meter, you know, probably seven hundred mil off
- 48:37Speaker 1: the ground. It's oddly specific.
- 48:39Speaker 3: Yeah, three steps down the whole things would like a
- 48:44Speaker 3: traditional deck. Yes, I'm carrying a bag or a box
- 48:48Speaker 3: that has a touch rugby ball on it, a frisbee,
- 48:52Speaker 3: a few other things for the beach. My wife's towel
- 48:56Speaker 3: hoodie thing that you put on when you've been for
- 48:58Speaker 3: a song. You just put a whole towel hoodie over here.
- 48:59Speaker 1: And it just carrying all that in a box and
- 49:01Speaker 1: I row up by the way. No, they're great. Don't
- 49:04Speaker 1: shame my wife like that on the radio. Lucy.
- 49:08Speaker 3: Just use a normal towel. She could do it if
- 49:10Speaker 3: she wants pugs. She's a grown ass woman. As I'm
- 49:13Speaker 3: walking off the deck, I have a fall.
- 49:18Speaker 1: Don't say it like that. What do you mean?
- 49:19Speaker 3: I had a full eighty year olds have a fall? Correct,
- 49:23Speaker 3: I had an old person four, So I didn't fall over.
- 49:27Speaker 1: I had a fall. Pugs. I pushed the button on
- 49:31Speaker 1: my Saint John's bracelet because I couldn't get out of
- 49:35Speaker 1: how I'm falling and I can't get up. That's right,
- 49:38Speaker 1: that's that's seriously what happened to me.
- 49:39Speaker 3: So I was, as I was walking down the decks
- 49:42Speaker 3: the stairs of the deck, I slipped. And as I
- 49:46Speaker 3: slipped with my right foot, I'm always like, oh, I
- 49:49Speaker 3: can always balance yourself out, right. I went to balance
- 49:52Speaker 3: myself out instant reflexes with my left foot, and then
- 49:56Speaker 3: that one slipped as well. And what happened is I
- 49:59Speaker 3: fell onto my butt on the top stock and then
- 50:03Speaker 3: did the whole down a few steps on my butt.
- 50:06Speaker 3: I slid down and as I, as I slipped over,
- 50:10Speaker 3: my feet went out from under me. My burken stocks
- 50:15Speaker 3: they fly, they flew across the yard. What about the
- 50:19Speaker 3: box of stuff I kept that that was the one
- 50:23Speaker 3: one bit of money that I had left for bed.
- 50:26Speaker 3: You dropped the frisbee because the box of frisbees and
- 50:29Speaker 3: hoodie towels stayed upright. But I had a genuine fall
- 50:32Speaker 3: and men Iiah and Jess and Lucy were all outside watching,
- 50:36Speaker 3: and and Lucy was like, oh my god, are you're okay,
- 50:38Speaker 3: like genuine concern, which is such a d shrinker. Meanwhile,
- 50:41Speaker 3: she's got the egg, She's got massive it. She's even
- 50:45Speaker 3: told me one of her massive eggs is gumby people.
- 50:50Speaker 1: She married you. I know, I know, you gotta not
- 50:55Speaker 1: say you had a ball. You're aging yourself by about
- 50:57Speaker 1: I had a full Bugs is.
- 50:59Speaker 5: Part of.
- 51:03Speaker 2: The Whodarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy. Tune
- 51:06Speaker 2: in week days at four on Radio hod Ich.
- 51:09Speaker 3: Queen's in the Stone Age on the Hurdarcky break for
- 51:10Speaker 3: show it. There's no d's still smoke, Oh nothing but
- 51:13Speaker 3: tunes here on Radio Hurdarchy all the way till ten am.
- 51:15Speaker 3: Thanks to Max Raft and now Pugs. I just shared
- 51:18Speaker 3: a deeply personal and deeply embarrassing story of me having
- 51:22Speaker 3: a fall over the New Year period. I was walking
- 51:25Speaker 3: off the deck at the Batch at corimandl there carrying
- 51:28Speaker 3: a box with a frisbee and a hoodie towel in it,
- 51:30Speaker 3: and I slid down the stairs. My birkenstocks went flying,
- 51:33Speaker 3: and my bum went dof dorf down three stairs. A
- 51:37Speaker 3: lady across the road who was having a cup of
- 51:38Speaker 3: tea looked up because my wife was, Oh, my god,
- 51:40Speaker 3: you're okay. I had a fall and it was sore
- 51:44Speaker 3: and it was embarrassing.
- 51:45Speaker 1: I was saying off here, I think falling on your
- 51:47Speaker 1: tushy in any scenario is quite embarrassing because you're sort
- 51:49Speaker 1: of you're still seated up right, and so you you're
- 51:52Speaker 1: kind of like you should be okay because you're seated
- 51:55Speaker 1: up right, Like if you fall all the way overs,
- 51:59Speaker 1: like are you okay? Years? Whereas that falling on your
- 52:01Speaker 1: tosh it's like just get up man.
- 52:02Speaker 3: Well, you know, because I would say actually, because last year,
- 52:06Speaker 3: my wife and I were filling in for an indoor
- 52:07Speaker 3: netball team and I suggested that we parked about one
- 52:11Speaker 3: hundred and fifty minutes away.
- 52:11Speaker 1: I suggested we run.
- 52:13Speaker 3: We jogged indoor nepple to warm and remember this, yeah yeah,
- 52:16Speaker 3: And then as we're running along, I tripped. I tripped
- 52:21Speaker 3: on an uneven piece of pavement, which the council should
- 52:23Speaker 3: bloody sort out. Yeah, and fell forward and scuffed my
- 52:28Speaker 3: hands and my knees up. I put myself and Doggie
- 52:30Speaker 3: as Mike would put it in front of my shoulder.
- 52:34Speaker 1: Yeah, and that was in public as well. Look, I
- 52:36Speaker 1: want to validate your feelings here, Keezy, because I also
- 52:40Speaker 1: had a fall over over the holiday break. Oh no,
- 52:43Speaker 1: I was my partner and I were out where my
- 52:46Speaker 1: dad lives, right, and there's a lot of bushwalks and
- 52:49Speaker 1: stuff out there, and I was like, this is my
- 52:51Speaker 1: favorite area, this is my favorite walk. I'm going to
- 52:53Speaker 1: take you to be so lovely and romantic, going to
- 52:55Speaker 1: go through a lot of bushwalk We get our a
- 52:56Speaker 1: little Fitnes s gears.
- 52:57Speaker 3: Are you that intense when you're talking to it?
- 52:58Speaker 2: Oh, you're going to love it.
- 53:00Speaker 1: It's a beautiful perform now and you're gonna come with me.
- 53:03Speaker 1: So I say it like that. She's right on board, right,
- 53:06Speaker 1: We get our Fitnes skis on. We go for this
- 53:07Speaker 1: lovely walk. It's a beautiful day. It's maybe like it's
- 53:10Speaker 1: a good couple of k's over the top of a
- 53:13Speaker 1: hill and back down, so it's nothing too crazy, but
- 53:15Speaker 1: you know, it's a nice walk anyway. So we're going
- 53:17Speaker 1: up this gravel path and da da da da da
- 53:19Speaker 1: all the way over and very smooth, no drama. All good,
- 53:24Speaker 1: well done. We literally get to the bottom of the
- 53:27Speaker 1: walk at the end of the walk to go out
- 53:31Speaker 1: the gate of the trail and in the walk and
- 53:33Speaker 1: go home. Walk complete walk, complete moment I take. I say,
- 53:38Speaker 1: oh geez, that was a bloody good walk, wasn't it.
- 53:40Speaker 1: No dramas. I literally take the next step that I take. Yeah,
- 53:43Speaker 1: my right foot goes and I'm doing a hand action
- 53:47Speaker 1: to Chris so I can explain it to him. My
- 53:49Speaker 1: right foot lands and slips inwards. Oh, my right foot
- 53:53Speaker 1: slips and left doesn't take out your other foot takes
- 53:57Speaker 1: out my other foot. Your gumbo slips on the gravel
- 54:01Speaker 1: takes out my other foot. I fall to the right
- 54:04Speaker 1: and I do a complete twist and I end up
- 54:07Speaker 1: rolling down the last part of the hill. So and
- 54:10Speaker 1: a horizontal roll like a barrel and donkey kong.
- 54:13Speaker 3: So because whenever you fall over, you tried to turn
- 54:15Speaker 3: it into something cool or like chill, but you turned
- 54:18Speaker 3: it into like doing roly pole.
- 54:19Speaker 1: It was like it was like a slip move try
- 54:22Speaker 1: to regain a step and then end up and doing
- 54:24Speaker 1: that twist barrel, roll down.
- 54:26Speaker 3: The rest of the help and when you came to
- 54:28Speaker 3: a stop, did you at least put your like elbow
- 54:30Speaker 3: down and pretend you're lying in like a cool position.
- 54:33Speaker 1: No, because I actually cooked myself. Oh you would seriously
- 54:36Speaker 1: my shirt. Yeah, this is the most embarrassing. But shirt
- 54:39Speaker 1: came up, grazes all over my back from the gravel.
- 54:43Speaker 1: And you know, like nobody wants to fall over end
- 54:45Speaker 1: of this shirt for come up, especially even especially if
- 54:47Speaker 1: you're a big fellow. It's like pull your shirt down.
- 54:49Speaker 1: That's the first instinct. So my shirt comes up, I
- 54:52Speaker 1: roll down and then I've just got bleeding grazes all
- 54:55Speaker 1: over my back for the walk home.
- 54:57Speaker 3: Well, she seriously picked out by she was so turned on.
- 55:00Speaker 2: The Hierarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio HODAK.
- 55:05Speaker 3: It's brand new from the Black Seeds Compassion on the
- 55:07Speaker 3: Hurdarchy Breakfast Show with Keezy and Pugs but the locals
- 55:10Speaker 3: only Action.
- 55:10Speaker 1: Pugs absolutely and I saw that song. Oh, firstly, we
- 55:14Speaker 1: premiered that song last year. We did came in with
- 55:18Speaker 1: them and then we debuted it. And then I actually
- 55:20Speaker 1: saw them live over New Years at a festival. I
- 55:23Speaker 1: went to called Matta Kana Rama, which was out in
- 55:25Speaker 1: Lee and Hey, let me just say this. I was
- 55:28Speaker 1: on the same lineup as the Black Seeds, so you're
- 55:31Speaker 1: on the slam on the Black Seeds and they performed
- 55:35Speaker 1: that tune live and all I was thinking that entire
- 55:38Speaker 1: time was it's amazing that these guys are on the
- 55:41Speaker 1: first night of a festival at eight pm like they
- 55:44Speaker 1: were the pinnacle like that. That's that's peak New Zealand
- 55:47Speaker 1: music right there.
- 55:48Speaker 3: Yeah, and they've been doing it for so long that
- 55:49Speaker 3: are the masters of it.
- 55:50Speaker 1: It was just like a slick, professional, flawless operation.
- 55:53Speaker 3: Speaking of slick and professional operations, we've got Beck from
- 55:56Speaker 3: the Day Show in the studio with us right now.
- 55:58Speaker 1: Bick, how you go? I Beck?
- 56:00Speaker 3: Hi, guys, how are you really good man?
- 56:02Speaker 1: Good holiday for you.
- 56:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 56:04Speaker 6: I had a week off last week. I filled in
- 56:07Speaker 6: you know you heard my voice over Christmas, all over summer,
- 56:09Speaker 6: all over summer. And then I got to do my
- 56:11Speaker 6: first holiday in nine years. Really yeah, I had aliday
- 56:14Speaker 6: no because I was doing comedy. So anytime I had
- 56:17Speaker 6: a holiday and went away and did comedy, so this
- 56:19Speaker 6: is the first time I just got.
- 56:20Speaker 3: To chill with my work. And this is what's interesting
- 56:22Speaker 3: about Beck is the way you spent your time on holiday,
- 56:26Speaker 3: how you relaxed.
- 56:27Speaker 1: Do you just want to inform us how you did that.
- 56:29Speaker 6: I went gold prospecting on the west coast of the
- 56:32Speaker 6: South Island. Camp camped up with the sand flies, and
- 56:36Speaker 6: me and my partner Q we just panned for gold.
- 56:39Speaker 1: So that's that's so interesting.
- 56:40Speaker 3: Because Beck walks in, because you've been doing the show
- 56:42Speaker 3: from the South I'm from christ Church, and she's like,
- 56:44Speaker 3: do you guys want to see my gold? And I
- 56:46Speaker 3: was like, hell, yeah, please, and she brought out the
- 56:49Speaker 3: smallest jar I've seen, not a jar, more of.
- 56:52Speaker 1: A viol it was.
- 56:53Speaker 3: It was It was a vial of gold sand. It
- 56:56Speaker 3: was so and just because it was probably like if
- 57:00Speaker 3: you were to use your thumb and your finger to
- 57:03Speaker 3: pick up a little amount.
- 57:05Speaker 1: Of sand, which is how I do all my units
- 57:07Speaker 1: of measurement.
- 57:08Speaker 3: Yeah, and that's how I pick up all my sand
- 57:10Speaker 3: as well. And you whether then put that in a vial.
- 57:12Speaker 3: That's how much gold you had. How much was that worth?
- 57:15Speaker 1: No idea?
- 57:15Speaker 3: Probably a buck a dollar, I would say.
- 57:18Speaker 1: It's like a pinch of salts worth of gold.
- 57:20Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yes, So it's worth probably a dollar. How
- 57:27Speaker 3: long did you spend?
- 57:28Speaker 1: About twenty hours? But it's not a bit, you know.
- 57:32Speaker 6: It's about being around the camp site and having a
- 57:35Speaker 6: chat to all everyone else that's doing the gold prospecting.
- 57:38Speaker 6: Everyone's got a theory on where to go, where to
- 57:40Speaker 6: dig your whole.
- 57:41Speaker 1: Yeah, it's very cool.
- 57:42Speaker 3: And so did you witness anyone really strike it big?
- 57:45Speaker 1: Um?
- 57:46Speaker 6: The dude Steve O who was camped kind of behind us,
