We all naturally want a life filled with fun and pleasure, and surprisingly, the Bible says we were made for that kind of world. But when we try to build it without God, we find that the fun times don't prepare us for the hard times. Living for pleasure can't prepare us for the plague. God is trying to get our attention, and to teach us to hunger for him.
