A 90-year-old Fresno veteran, Jim Pryce, lost his deeply sentimental handmade cane—adorned with his police badge and pins—while shopping at Costco. After his daughter shared the story online and FOX26 picked it up, a local market employee spotted the cane, recognized it from the news, and returned it to the police. Thanks to community action and media magic, the cane is back with Jim, a retired cop and Air Force vet who still serves as a docent at the Veterans Memorial Museum.
