On this episode we look at a particular example of witch paranoia in 16th Century Scotland, the North Berwick Witch Trials. We have a look at the background of witch trials in Scotland, what the events surrounding the North Berwick witch trials were, and who were the people what suffered as a result of the trials. This is an unpleasant time in the history of Europe, and here we try and understand a little of how this manifested itself. Spoiler...not many happy endings…
