- 0:18SPEAKER_00: I do their butt, eh?
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: No doubt about it.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: Absolutely do, eh?
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 0:24SPEAKER_03: I love when people do like the concern trolling, like they don't like understand that like it's all like theatrical and the emotion is part of it, and me being angry saying fuck a thousand times part of it.
- 0:33SPEAKER_03: And they DM me, like, James, you seemed really mad that last post.
- 0:37SPEAKER_03: Are you okay?
- 0:37SPEAKER_03: Are you going through something?
- 0:38SPEAKER_03: And I'm like, fucking, do you think that I'm just going fuck, fuck, fuck around my house?
- 0:43SPEAKER_03: I do that.
- 0:44SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 0:44SPEAKER_03: And then I go play with my daughter.
- 0:46SPEAKER_03: I go play with Mochi.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: I'm fine.
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: So literally, literally, um, why I was like, okay, James needs to come back on is because I got back on social media and some of your videos popped up.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: Some of my 30s.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: And like it, it's just there's something there.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: It's like, I don't want to say you're divisive, isn't the right, right word.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: It's more like it's more like, you know, me and Mike have haters, and then Liam has haters, and then you have haters, haters, haters.
- 1:16SPEAKER_03: They haters squared.
- 1:18SPEAKER_03: They really haters squared.
- 1:21SPEAKER_03: And so good.
- 1:22SPEAKER_03: They don't even know why they hate me.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: Your wife's a stripper.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's it was just like the stupidest stuff.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: And like I I I I put this entire episode, uh, told Mike to put this episode together, entirely for this, which is before we met, before we did our first episode together.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: No idea who you were, had no idea what to think about you.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: But after that episode, um, after when my dad started to uh started to go downhill, all that stuff, um, there was one person Liam's excluded from this because Liam was like, I was talking to Liam constantly.
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: One person other than Liam that reached out and checked on me.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: That was James.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: And that solidified the type of person you are in my head, right there.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: One person, this guy right here.
- 2:12SPEAKER_03: I appreciate that.
- 2:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I just saw that you were struggling on me.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: So yeah, when when I see all these haters on you, I'm just kind of like, I know he can like be a little rough on the edges, but uh I want to back that up.
- 2:23SPEAKER_02: James is uh you you've reached out to me as well, and you know, I I vice versa and everything.
- 2:29SPEAKER_02: You you you just you give a shit, and it's it is very evident, you know.
- 2:33SPEAKER_02: It's uh if anybody's wondering, like, you know, who is he off camera?
- 2:39SPEAKER_02: He's the same guy.
- 2:40SPEAKER_02: No, he he shits on people and then he also gives a shit.
- 2:43SPEAKER_03: Yeah, there's that people think that I'm like performative or nice.
- 2:47SPEAKER_03: I'm like, when the f would I say I was nice?
- 2:49SPEAKER_03: I call someone conzilla like today.
- 2:52SPEAKER_01: I shit on people I don't like, and I give a shit to the people I do like because they're very different things.
- 2:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but really, James, we we brought you here to ask you this question who shit in your cornflakes?
- 3:03SPEAKER_01: Yes, was it Kellogg?
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: Did Kellogg shit in your cornflakes?
- 3:06SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: Every time I buy a box of cornflakes, I get the one that has shit in it.
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: I don't understand how every time.
- 3:13SPEAKER_02: For anybody, I for the I think 10 people left on earth that don't know who James is.
- 3:18SPEAKER_02: James, you want to let everybody know who you are and what you do?
- 3:20SPEAKER_03: I'm a fraud who tells fat people to stay fat and eat sugar all day.
- 3:26SPEAKER_03: I hate health, I hate exercise.
- 3:28SPEAKER_03: It's all about seed oils.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: TMZ is gonna sometimes dress up as a woman.
- 3:32SPEAKER_03: That's Tammy.
- 3:33SPEAKER_03: That's not that's Tammy.
- 3:35SPEAKER_03: That's that's a different person.
- 3:37SPEAKER_03: Oh, I'm sorry.
- 3:38SPEAKER_03: I'm sorry.
- 3:39SPEAKER_03: That's all right.
- 3:40SPEAKER_03: It's a common mistake.
- 3:41SPEAKER_03: No, I've I've been in this industry for over 20 years.
- 3:45SPEAKER_03: I love what I do.
- 3:46SPEAKER_03: I was fucked up through half of it.
- 3:47SPEAKER_03: Um, eating disorders, exercise, bulimia, chewing and spitting, going down to 600 calories a day, substance abuse, alcohol abuse, all that, and started factoring my mental and physical health when I was like 32.
- 3:59SPEAKER_03: I'm 37 now.
- 4:00SPEAKER_03: All my followers were with me along with the ride, and that's precisely why I've made my business zero shortcuts, to not expedite the process for anyone, trying to live up to anyone else's standards, just dominate life while maintaining quality of life.
- 4:16SPEAKER_03: And I fuck up anyone who makes this harder for people who are just trying to learn.
- 4:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's there there's so much anger and and negativity and and bullying and frustration in the fitness industry that you know all of us see it and have dealt with it head on.
- 4:33SPEAKER_02: But it it's you you take to that battle every day.
- 4:39SPEAKER_03: And it's like seven times a day.
- 4:42SPEAKER_03: It's a lot of years of pent-up aggression and also being bullied myself for a long time, even into my later years, that I just didn't speak up because I didn't think I was worth it.
- 4:51SPEAKER_01: I kind of feel like it's because for a lot of these people that are younger, you know, fit that are that that that make these videos that you are calling out all of that.
- 5:00SPEAKER_01: I feel like it's really the things are difficult.
- 5:03SPEAKER_01: Is it because things are difficult for them, they want it to be difficult for other people, or is it because things for them maybe because they're younger and they don't have all these responsibilities and things are easier for them?
- 5:14SPEAKER_01: So like, oh, it's easy, it should be easy for everyone.
- 5:17SPEAKER_03: They have a very, very, very narrow worldview of what this is, and whatever they did to achieve it.
- 5:24SPEAKER_03: Which honestly, it's not easy to get into shape.
- 5:29SPEAKER_03: However, once you're there and you pretty much make your identity, it's relatively like easy.
- 5:36SPEAKER_03: You're not going through the same, yeah.
- 5:37SPEAKER_03: Like you're not going through the same hardships as um a woman in menopause or someone going through a drastic injury or chronic illness or something.
- 5:45SPEAKER_03: So I don't get it.
- 5:47SPEAKER_03: Just have discipline, just eat real food.
- 5:50SPEAKER_03: It is and it's like, yeah, we know.
- 5:52SPEAKER_03: And if we told you to stop paying your bills, you'd have a lot more money, but that's not how this works.
- 5:56SPEAKER_03: I think that's a good idea.
- 5:57SPEAKER_01: I don't think do I see it coming from like parents, right?
- 6:00SPEAKER_01: Like, usually a lot of times I think when people have kids, they're like, Oh, actually, shit like life and shit gets hard.
- 6:04SPEAKER_01: And like, I think it gives maybe a different perspective.
- 6:07SPEAKER_01: Often it's from younger people who like with their parents.
- 6:16SPEAKER_03: They just refuse to look within and realize that someone else is going through something that they're not, because then they would have to utilize emotional intelligence that they don't have.
- 6:27SPEAKER_03: So rather than admit that they're falling short of a certain quality that makes a fitness professional a professional, they just double down and put all the blame on the person who's struggling, which is the last thing that a leader or a teacher should do.
- 6:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's a lot of these kids too, they haven't struggled with their bodies like you and I have.
- 6:47SPEAKER_03: No, and I hate I hate when they're like, I was obese, and they show like they're a little heavier, like a little soft chest, like shot.
- 6:56SPEAKER_02: Not like they had a bad weekend or something.
- 6:59SPEAKER_02: Like it's yeah, this this is not obesity.
- 7:02SPEAKER_02: This is you didn't have a problem.
- 7:03SPEAKER_03: You were just drinking a little bit during the and then they did like a shit ton of trend, and they're like, now look at me.
- 7:08SPEAKER_03: It's like yeah, you injected the pharmacy.
- 7:13SPEAKER_00: They're they probably took something.
- 7:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 7:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 7:16SPEAKER_02: And that that's also, I mean, there's another piece of that where it's you know, as much as I hate these bullies, some of these kids are so young and they're taking all these drugs, and I'm like, they're messing themselves up forever.
- 7:30SPEAKER_02: They're ruining their bodies completely.
- 7:33SPEAKER_02: They're gonna look good for a few years, and then the side effects are gonna kick in.
- 7:36SPEAKER_01: I feel like I've seen like every week, I see like this is the new biggest 21-year-old or 20-year-old.
- 7:43SPEAKER_01: Like it's the most muscular, like 20-year-old, 21-year-old, 22-year-old, or whatever.
- 7:48SPEAKER_01: And I'm just like, yeah, that's that's alarming.
- 7:52SPEAKER_01: Like that at that age, you're trying to just be the largest person in the world.
- 7:57SPEAKER_03: Like, and also why?
- 7:58SPEAKER_03: It's it's definitely not for you're just competing with other men.
- 8:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 8:02SPEAKER_02: At that point, like I know they're against women, right?
- 8:05SPEAKER_02: They they're like having sex is gross and bad and all that.
- 8:10SPEAKER_03: Like, I have like no desire to do that.
- 8:14SPEAKER_03: And like when I get like when like MAGA gets mad at me and they're like, do some more steroids or trend or stuff.
- 8:19SPEAKER_03: I'm like, if I did trend, I'd be the size of a house.
- 8:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 8:24SPEAKER_01: It's and it's like, I'm not gonna tell you to do with your what to do with your body, right?
- 8:28SPEAKER_01: Like, if you decide, like, hey, I just want to be uh uh a human gorilla, like I want to be as much of a gorilla as uh as drugs will allow me to be.
- 8:38SPEAKER_01: Like, hey, I'm you know, if you're over 18, do whatever you want.
- 8:42SPEAKER_03: But a lot of them are still not satisfied, you know, like like like someone like Goob or like whoever like calls like other people out who like Photoshop and stuff.
- 8:50SPEAKER_03: It's crazy.
- 8:51SPEAKER_03: I have never once thought of Photoshopping any of my pictures or anything, and they get called like all the time.
- 8:56SPEAKER_03: It's like you're still not satisfied.
- 8:58SPEAKER_03: No, yeah, it's you're still not happy.
- 9:00SPEAKER_03: That sucks.
- 9:01SPEAKER_01: What what percentage of like this fitness industry you think has body dysphor dysmorphia?
- 9:06SPEAKER_01: Oh god, the majority, uh the high majority.
- 9:09SPEAKER_01: Like six sixty percent, little majority, or like we're talking 75, 90 percent.
- 9:14SPEAKER_03: 75, 75, maybe so three quarters.
- 9:17SPEAKER_02: This room here might be the the only amount of people that have either worked on it or don't have it.
- 9:22SPEAKER_02: I like it's it's bad.
- 9:23SPEAKER_02: One video stuck go ahead.
- 9:25SPEAKER_03: Like, like, like, like how I see it is like if there's a candid photo of me that's just kind of like unflattering, then it's just unflattering, and I'm not gonna post it.
- 9:33SPEAKER_03: Um just like if there was like spinach in my teeth or something.
- 9:37SPEAKER_03: But but me just like standing there, just being, I have nothing to dissect or diminish anymore.
- 9:44SPEAKER_03: And I feel like even people like at the best lighting, the best pose, like when you feel the need to just make your waist smaller and like make your shoulders bigger, that's just like I feel like terrible for them.
- 9:56SPEAKER_03: That sucks because at that point you're never ever gonna get out of it.
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: No, you've got an image in your head that you can't make happen without the use of a uh photo editing tool.
- 10:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, one there's one video that's stuck with me since that uh that I covered like over a year ago now, where a guy there's somebody made a comment there like Brad Pitt in Fight Club is is is peak, and any more of that is too much muscle.
- 10:23SPEAKER_01: And this guy was like, This is peak.
- 10:25SPEAKER_01: Brad Pitt had literally no muscle, and so he shows like a bodybuilder that looks like a almost a cartoon character, right?
- 10:33SPEAKER_01: Like just so much muscle, he's just like that.
- 10:35SPEAKER_01: Looks like he's in you know mortal combat or something, right?
- 10:39SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 10:39SPEAKER_01: Um, and he's like, This is like this is peak right here.
- 10:42SPEAKER_01: And everybody in the com and he's and he also said that he's like, I've been training for years and I still feel like I look small.
- 10:48SPEAKER_01: And this guy, he's very, he's also very muscular.
- 10:51SPEAKER_01: And so everybody in the comments just like, what are you know, what are you talking about?
- 10:55SPEAKER_01: Like this clearly the people I think of this industry have just this level of like body dysmorphia where no matter what they do, they still feel like they they they look small.
- 11:04SPEAKER_01: Well, it was I remember Chris Bumstead, which if you've ever heard he's like he's Mr.
- 11:08SPEAKER_01: Olympia, he's one of the most uh decorated bodybuilders of all time.
- 11:11SPEAKER_01: What all what so many people look up to.
- 11:14SPEAKER_01: I remember him saying that like he still wears a pump cover when he goes to the gym, like which he wears basically, which is like a big sweater or whatever, and he doesn't take it off until he gets a pump, like until he looks bigger.
- 11:26SPEAKER_01: So even like he is looking at himself as like small at some times, like it it it never ends, it never ends.
- 11:34SPEAKER_01: And it was just funny.
- 11:35SPEAKER_01: In that comment section, there was just a lot of it was like most, it was pretty much all men who would like agree with him, right?
- 11:41SPEAKER_01: Like the women are just like, no, this is what what even is this?
- 11:43SPEAKER_01: I don't even know what that person looks like.
- 11:45SPEAKER_01: Well, the best is how many men who tell women what they really like.
- 11:49SPEAKER_01: They're like women like this, like, no, you have no idea what women like shut up, you know.
- 11:54SPEAKER_01: There is, and I made a video on that, and I remember I hit a bunch of women that were like, no, like peak for me is Jack Black.
- 12:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, right, right, right.
- 12:02SPEAKER_01: That's great.
- 12:02SPEAKER_01: Like, it's like Jack Black is not what you would consider, what most men would consider the peak form for you know of you know sexiness in a man.
- 12:11SPEAKER_01: But like there's a lot of women, they're like, no, this is this is what I like.
- 12:14SPEAKER_03: It's I've said it a thousand times, they don't have the critical thinking capacity to realize hey, no one's saying that a nice body is not nice to look at.
- 12:22SPEAKER_03: But if that's your identity and your schmuck, you're not as attractive as let's say Jack Black or someone else who just is just Yeah, they're they're comfortable who they are, they have fun, they're not worried about the macros of what they're eating and spending three hours in the gym every day.
- 12:41SPEAKER_01: Right, no.
- 12:43SPEAKER_01: Oh man, it's so bad.
- 12:45SPEAKER_01: It's it's I don't I don't know if there's any way to really get that through to them.
- 12:49SPEAKER_03: So they just kind of and they try to tell me that I have reverse body dysmorphia.
- 12:52SPEAKER_03: I'm like so unconfident.
- 12:54SPEAKER_03: Reverse body dysmorphia.
- 12:57SPEAKER_01: What because I'm too proud.
- 12:59SPEAKER_01: You're okay.
- 13:00SPEAKER_01: Reverse, like by definition, like reverse body dysmorphia would be like, I'm confident in my body.
- 13:05SPEAKER_03: Like that's such a weird I know, but and they try to say it like it's a burn.
- 13:10SPEAKER_01: I'm like, you sound like a fucking Oh, you have a reverse eating disorder, so I'm I have I like the food I eat and I'm comfortable.
- 13:17SPEAKER_01: Like, what is that?
- 13:18SPEAKER_02: The fuck?
- 13:19SPEAKER_02: It's their way of saying, like, you're not up to my standard.
- 13:23SPEAKER_02: I I have a better standard than you, I am stronger than you, I'm bigger than you, whatever, and you're just coping.
- 13:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah, right.
- 13:30SPEAKER_03: Wherever you're just making excuses.
- 13:32SPEAKER_02: How do you feel about this uh this men-only gym trend that's going around lately?
- 13:38SPEAKER_02: Have you seen this?
- 13:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they want to begin each other.
- 13:40SPEAKER_01: It's that's the headline right there.
- 13:42SPEAKER_01: When you go in there, it's just half the gym is showers.
- 13:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's just like there's weights and then there's showers.
- 13:47SPEAKER_01: So it's the only two things in there.
- 13:49SPEAKER_01: Powers and milking tables.
- 13:50SPEAKER_01: And just finish my personal shower real quick.
- 13:54SPEAKER_01: Anyone else want to come?
- 13:55SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna give you a lot of people.
- 13:56SPEAKER_03: The fact that they are blaming women's attire for their lust is fucking laughable.
- 14:01SPEAKER_03: And they think Oh, is that what it is?
- 14:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah, of course.
- 14:04SPEAKER_03: Okay, I just think that women are being too scandalous, yeah.
- 14:10SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they're tempting too many people with their sports bras and their spandex and their leggings, and they are men of faith, and they don't want to be compromised cheating on their wives.
- 14:20SPEAKER_03: So they need to take out and go to an all-men's gym.
- 14:25SPEAKER_03: I don't think I've seen this.
- 14:26SPEAKER_03: I don't think I think this is something I've been all over the place.
- 14:29SPEAKER_03: And they get so mad when I call it out, they write me like a novel.
- 14:35SPEAKER_03: A novel literal, like four paragraphs as to how women need to be more modest.
- 14:41SPEAKER_03: And at the end, I'm just like, shut the fuck up.
- 14:43SPEAKER_03: I didn't need to.
- 14:43SPEAKER_01: Is that is that them wanting to go back to the to the air quotes better time for them?
- 14:50SPEAKER_01: Like when women didn't have as many rights and like women say to all women.
- 14:57SPEAKER_03: And they just like feel like, well, like they aren't like paying attention to me, so I'm I'm just gonna villainize them.
- 15:05SPEAKER_03: Because we all know that if any of these women gave them the time of day, they wouldn't care about the outfit in a second.
- 15:11SPEAKER_03: It's just the fact that they're not paying attention to them and they're proud of their bodies.
- 15:15SPEAKER_03: And these are the guys who take off their shirts in the gym.
- 15:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah, right, right, right.
- 15:19SPEAKER_01: That's what's kind of funny about it in a sad sort of way.
- 15:21SPEAKER_01: So do they just avoid beaches at all costs, or what's the deal there?
- 15:24SPEAKER_01: Like, what the fuck?
- 15:25SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 15:26SPEAKER_03: It's such a fact that they make posts and I call my wife a stripper when she's just not a stripper, it's just she's in like a top and shorts doing her like gymnastic shit on the pole, and then like, we all know she's a stripper.
- 15:43SPEAKER_03: I'm like, she's not though.
- 15:45SPEAKER_03: You're saying it like it's true, it's not.
- 15:47SPEAKER_03: You just put that image in your head, you're the one sexualizing it, no one else is.
- 15:53SPEAKER_03: It's like, all right, we know.
- 15:54SPEAKER_03: I'm like, okay.
- 15:55SPEAKER_02: These are all guys whose favorite thing to watch on TV is a bunch of oiled up dudes in the smallest little underwear.
- 16:03SPEAKER_02: I know they can possibly squeeze.
- 16:05SPEAKER_03: They literally wear less clothes, women wear less clothes in like those like competitions than my wife does.
- 16:10SPEAKER_03: They just desperately want to find any dirt on me at all, and they can't.
- 16:15SPEAKER_03: Look at you all nice to people.
- 16:17SPEAKER_02: That's all they can get you on, too.
- 16:19SPEAKER_02: Like, that's it.
- 16:21SPEAKER_02: You reverse body dysmorphia.
- 16:24SPEAKER_02: To these people, like being nice and encouraging people and and giving them actual advice is bad.
- 16:32SPEAKER_03: Which is fine, because all the people who they call out for that, they hands down give more fitness content than any of them.
- 16:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah, there's a whole group that doesn't.
- 16:42SPEAKER_03: And it's not just like it's only with the algorithm is showing me.
- 16:45SPEAKER_03: I have taken my time to look through, I'm like, I have not seen one thing valuable.
- 16:49SPEAKER_03: It's just you shitting on people, saying what the correct thing is there, kind of going into something, but not really.
- 16:55SPEAKER_03: But it's mainly just for the minions in your comment section to jump on whoever you're attacking.
- 17:00SPEAKER_03: And I will make people jump on whoever I'm attacking, but at least it's warranted.
- 17:03SPEAKER_03: This is like they'll call out like an obese person who walked a marathon.
- 17:07SPEAKER_03: It's like you didn't run it, you walked it, and it's like, what the fuck are you doing?
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they find that niche where they get a bunch of rabid followers and then they can post any sort of shit talking they want.
- 17:20SPEAKER_00: They know that these rabid followers are gonna come in and like everything, they're gonna go and do their thing, and they get the views off it.
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's all they care about is the views.
- 17:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they tried spreading a rumor for a little while that I lied about all my eating disorders.
- 17:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they'll try anything that just they'll yeah, I mean, they'll say pretty much anything, right?
- 17:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, they just try someone's mom having cancer.
- 17:41SPEAKER_03: I'm like, in what world would I fucking do that?
- 17:43SPEAKER_03: That's not even like that's I'm so much better at talking shit than that.
- 17:48SPEAKER_02: As someone who has beaten several eating disorders and really, really gone through it, uh the way you talk about this stuff, there would be no other way for you to have the kind of fire that you do or the knowledge of it.
- 18:03SPEAKER_02: It's you talk about it in a way where I'm like, oh, okay, you've you've been there.
- 18:08SPEAKER_02: But they're just I I don't think these people really believe that eating disorders exist at all.
- 18:13SPEAKER_02: No, they're they really just believe that people that's an interesting, yeah.
- 18:17SPEAKER_02: No, they they just believe that people are choosing to get fat.
- 18:19SPEAKER_03: Like they they want to be, or they don't understand what can happen after bullying.
- 18:25SPEAKER_02: It's there's a small subsection of people I think that respond well to bullying or respond in some sort of okay, you know what, I've got the this determination, I'll do it.
- 18:36SPEAKER_02: And then most people will retreat into their old habits or they will turn away or they'll cope.
- 18:42SPEAKER_02: You know, but because I I think you know, to anybody who's maybe in opposition to us listening right now, we aren't we don't want people to be bigger, we want people to be healthier and and and stronger and and and physical and everything, but like it's bullying will make people double down into a body that is not good for them.
- 19:03SPEAKER_03: Well, not just that, I've seen people say bullying works, I'm in the best shape of my life.
- 19:08SPEAKER_03: Suck it up, pussy.
- 19:09SPEAKER_03: Like, yeah, well, you're not okay.
- 19:12SPEAKER_03: I can see that.
- 19:13SPEAKER_03: Like, yeah, I lost the shape, I still wasn't okay.
- 19:17SPEAKER_03: Me too.
- 19:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they're they're suffering, they're they're angry and they've got these outbursts, and it you're like, well, okay, but the version of okay is what someone looks like.
- 19:26SPEAKER_01: That's all that matters to that.
- 19:26SPEAKER_01: That's right, right.
- 19:27SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 19:27SPEAKER_01: So they're like, oh, this but they bullied work because they're okay, meaning they are less fat, basically.
- 19:33SPEAKER_01: Like, that's all that matters to them, not any sort of mental health.
- 19:37SPEAKER_03: My bone work is 10 times healthier now, 40 pounds heavier.
- 19:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's I remember one video of a woman talking about how she used to be like a you know, a bikini competitor, competing in bikini, you know, like women's bodybuilding, whatever.
- 19:48SPEAKER_01: And how she's like, when I was like this, I was much less healthy than in this picture, where she had more body fat, but still within like, you know, a healthy range.
- 19:56SPEAKER_01: And yeah, no, you still had a lot of people that were like, no way, you are much healthier in the one where you're fucking skin and bones, basically.
- 20:03SPEAKER_01: There's no fat.
- 20:34SPEAKER_01: And it's just like, especially for women, you know, hormone function, of course, menstrual cycle, that sort of stuff.
- 20:41SPEAKER_01: Not saying, and you know, of course, there's there's women that can be leaner and still have uh, you know, healthy, you know, blood work and everything.
- 20:47SPEAKER_01: But often when you get to that lean as a woman, you you deal with a lot of those side effects.
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: I had people that were saying Paul Saladino is healthier than me because he has a tan.
- 20:58SPEAKER_01: Right, the tan.
- 20:59SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 21:00SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, Oh, of course.
- 21:01SPEAKER_00: One of us lives in Cuba, one of us lives in fucking Canada.
- 21:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, true.
- 21:06SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, I got plenty of that as well.
- 21:08SPEAKER_01: That's that's their thing.
- 21:09SPEAKER_01: It's like you're they're tan and they're fit.
- 21:11SPEAKER_03: And that's no, no, but like the people who like support RFK is like, look at him work out, look at his body.
- 21:17SPEAKER_03: I'm like, shut up.
- 21:19SPEAKER_02: No one in that administration has been able to do a full pull-up on camera.
- 21:23SPEAKER_02: No, I know.
- 21:24SPEAKER_02: Since the inauguration.
- 21:27SPEAKER_02: It's like, hey, look, cool that you're trying.
- 21:29SPEAKER_02: Most people that age wouldn't, but uh man, yeah.
- 21:33SPEAKER_01: Well, clearly being fit makes you a good health secretary.
- 21:36SPEAKER_01: That's why we have like no food recalls and groceries have prices have gone down and all of that stuff, right?
- 21:42SPEAKER_01: All the food is fine, all the food is fine.
- 21:45SPEAKER_01: Everything is fine.
- 21:46SPEAKER_01: If you don't look at the recalls, what's funny, what's hilarious is I remember getting tagged on a bunch of videos like, all the food is poison, all the food is poison, like for one of those videos.
- 21:55SPEAKER_01: And like I would get like that all the time, and like talking about Cheetos and Doritos, and I'm like, no, no, now the food is poison.
- 22:03SPEAKER_01: Now we are actually in the poison era where like I buy fucking eggs and it's got salmonella and shit.
- 22:09SPEAKER_01: Like, we're actually like we hired the person, we appointed the person who was supposed to make the food not poison, and he made it actual poison.
- 22:18SPEAKER_01: He like added poison to it.
- 22:20SPEAKER_01: We're great again.
- 22:21SPEAKER_01: We're now at the point where Cheetos are a safer bet than all of these other whole foods.
- 22:27SPEAKER_01: I know Cheetos won't like make me fucking have you know butthole diarrhea.
- 22:34SPEAKER_03: The next president actually has to make America healthy again.
- 22:39SPEAKER_03: This time they really mean it.
- 22:40SPEAKER_03: Like, okay, we actually have to undo everything here and actually make it healthy again.
- 22:45SPEAKER_00: Oh no.
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: It's been an absolute joke watching all this oh yeah as somebody who doesn't live in the US no it's a joke here too no no no Rob it's a joke here too we all see the joke everywhere and it's so embarrassing and it's like but there's there's a lot of a lot of Americans not all a lot of Americans that tend to forget that countries exist outside the US and that like we are all healthier than Americans.
- 23:14SPEAKER_01: No we heard about China we've heard about them so we know that country our president talks about it all the time China oh okay so we know that one there's no China we know that's that's all we're we're all healthier than the US we all laugh at what RFK is doing and the the the US is the only first uh developed like or what's a developed nation that doesn't have a universal healthcare yeah oh and we and we spend more than every other you know we spend one and a half times more than Switzerland which is like the next high spender per person like and we have and our health outcomes aren't any better they're actually like some of the worst our health care some of the worst so no our our system people okay here's the thing our system people say like people like to say it's broken.
- 24:03SPEAKER_01: No no it's not broken.
- 24:04SPEAKER_01: It's working as intended it was it's working exactly as the people who set it up wanted it to work to make a small group of people a lot of money and fuck over everyone else.
- 24:15SPEAKER_01: It's that's it's not broken.
- 24:17SPEAKER_02: This is how it was it was said I laughed so hard when RFK was talking about how they lowered the cost of weight loss drugs and stuff and I'm like I can go down to the pharmacy and pay out of pocket to get Wagovi 300 US dollars it would be four times that much four or five times that much in the US here's again if anybody on the other side of the aisle here is somehow listening to this all the way in you should be mad too you're paying for it your taxes are going to yeah it I would be surprised if they're here but if they are just like stewing just say they're just they're like waiting for some dirt right I know they're like oh James Capola's on this episode let's say whatever deals and then I could take a clip of this and I can put it on and make a video it's a clip it you your taxes are going to this anyway.
- 25:13SPEAKER_02: Why shouldn't you receive a benefit for the money you're already paying why are you mad about getting a benefit for the what you're paying if you went to a store and you bought something and they just said sorry we're not giving it to you you would want to talk to the manager.
- 25:28SPEAKER_03: Their green light to feel like they can hate freely just is over any rational thought you could think of their acceptance into a community where they're typically shunned out is going to be what they hold on to for dear life.
- 25:44SPEAKER_03: There's no amount of logic no amount of anything that will make oh I didn't think of it that way.
- 25:49SPEAKER_03: It's like I don't get to say racial slurs.
- 25:52SPEAKER_03: I don't get to say gay slurs anymore.
- 25:54SPEAKER_01: I do think like I like from what I've seen like because I try like I try like I'm like listen like let me see what they're the what they're saying right like let me see at least what's their thought process and a lot of it seems just to come down to is you work hard so why do why are your tax dollars going to lazy people?
- 26:12SPEAKER_01: That seems to be like one of the main sticking points for these people.
- 26:17SPEAKER_01: They could they try and I think they try and fucking what's shellac over the whole billionaire thing and how they're making insane amounts of money and just point it towards poor people trying to afford food.
- 26:31SPEAKER_01: They just think like well they worked very hard to get to where they yeah so why are lazy people that's their arguments why lazy people get what you worked hard to get that's what a lot of it seems to come down to.
- 26:43SPEAKER_01: So the solution is that we keep paying taxes and no one gets a benefit because I guess it's just like have no safety if you're poor you can't afford food or healthcare you just die.
- 26:55SPEAKER_01: I maybe it's just a survival of the fittest.
- 26:57SPEAKER_01: I guess that's what they're going with like just let we just let everybody who can't afford that stuff just die.
- 27:03SPEAKER_03: That doesn't seem like the best solution like they mind not having certain things they definitely mind if other people who they perceive as less than have them I think that they're okay with not having it as long as the other people who they perceive as less than doesn't yeah that's I think that's a I think a lot of people feel that way.
- 27:21SPEAKER_01: I think that's fair a lot of people feel that way.
- 27:24SPEAKER_01: I I just Liam I give you credit for saying like I try to understand I'm I'm I'm done I'm done I I have ended up in like the echo chamber where it's just like the what I believe in and I only talk with people with who believe what I believe.
- 27:39SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 27:40SPEAKER_03: And so I try like okay but why why do people on the other side believe you know the the the opposite of me and like there's there's you talk all day about it but like a lot of it seems to come down to that where it's just like oh there's this lack of nuance and using fallacies that makes me realize like oh so you're just gonna stick to this and there's no gray area there's no this or that there's no like anything you're just like this is poison this isn't blah blah blah.
- 28:08SPEAKER_01: And it's what kind of frustrates me is like whenever I'll point out like well okay so yes other countries may have higher taxes or whatever right but it's like they have all these things.
- 28:18SPEAKER_01: They get all these things because of those taxes.
- 28:20SPEAKER_01: And because of that if you take a survey of them they are happier on average much happier than we are.
- 28:26SPEAKER_01: And they are actually happy to pay those taxes because they go it goes towards education and healthcare and making sure people don't starve to death and that sort of thing.
- 28:34SPEAKER_01: But they'll just say oh it's not America America's different I think they have this idea that America is its own thing and every other country is is there they're totally different than us.
- 28:44SPEAKER_01: So you can't even look at them and it's like I think we should look at them and say like why is it working over there and it doesn't work over here.
- 28:52SPEAKER_02: Isn't it like five to ten percent more on average and then with that they're getting so much more of a benefit.
- 28:59SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah like how much more they pay in tax it depends on the country like some of the you know like northern European countries will pay higher you know higher amounts like some of the highest but what's funny is even like you know like Denmark or whatever they still like the people who pay them are ha are actually like happy about it because of what they get for them.
- 29:17SPEAKER_01: So yeah I don't but here it's just like I understand like I I don't like paying taxes either.
- 29:22SPEAKER_01: I'm paying more in taxes now than ever before because of social media but I'm more than happy to pay for them if it goes towards I don't know fucking libraries and be make sure people can afford food and all of that.
- 29:33SPEAKER_01: I'm happy for that.
- 29:35SPEAKER_03: Well I will say that I am very grateful that we were in a place like New York during um Arya's NICU stay for like some of like the best um like possible care options that she could get your daughter had a complicated birth just for those who are not aware.
- 29:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah for six months and insurance covered five million dollars and I can never thank them enough.
- 30:02SPEAKER_03: They did a terrific job.
- 30:03SPEAKER_01: And that shouldn't be you should that's something you shouldn't have to worry about is like how can I afford this right that's kind of insane insurance yeah that's dystopian to me is to be in the NICU like well I hope my daughter survives and also we're we don't go bankrupt from this that's that is I don't I I feel like everyone should be able to get on board with that's crazy.
- 30:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah that's that's a crazy thing to have to worry about.
- 30:27SPEAKER_01: Oh I have cancer how will I afford my treatment I and what's that's what's so insane to me is I so many of the people that message me because I every day I get people asking for help and like it feels like half of them are people who can't afford the whatever medical treatment it's not always cancer.
- 30:43SPEAKER_01: Sometimes it's big things like cancer other times it's like I can't afford my child's epi pen or something like that.
- 30:49SPEAKER_01: And like that like asthma inhaler or something that should you what like that's I please take my tax dollars for that for the love of God take I will pay what you want more in taxes that and you can guarantee it goes to people who need inhalers and epi pens and cancer treatment.
- 31:05SPEAKER_01: Yes yes take take the fucking money I'll pay more money like the fuck it's why it's so crazy to me.
- 31:12SPEAKER_01: That's where but you know the greatest country also don't know how taxes work.
- 31:17SPEAKER_01: And it's like oh how much did Amazon pay in taxes like less than me?
- 31:20SPEAKER_01: Okay no that's fine.
- 31:22SPEAKER_01: That's no don't worry about that's that's I'm sure that's not the problem.
- 31:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah okay here's I have an idea inevitably is going to be like well actually they paid like this many billion yeah it's it's a percentage of the income they're paying much of a less percentage of their income than we are that should make everybody angry doesn't matter who you are but I I got an idea okay there's this car called the DeLorean I don't know if you've heard of it we get an I haven't I heard if you go 47 miles an hour you go back in time.
- 31:59SPEAKER_01: 88 oh sorry my bad 88 oh 80 so okay so you said it was a Mandalorian Mandalorian yes and I believe it has 11 horsepower so if we if I think that will get us to the 48 canonically biblically nine horsepower nine horsepower we we go back in time we go back in time and we can I get that in kilometers per hour please no no you cannot no it's time that has been lost to time history we've we've lost that information miles per hour to kilometers.
- 32:34SPEAKER_00: Although Mike Mike is correct it's it should be in time we we measure distance or speed you know time travel in time here in Canada so it's like okay so you get in your DeLorean and you drive for about 10 minutes north and you'll be in uh 1942.
- 32:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah 141.622 kilometers per hour doesn't have the same sort of ring to it yeah you might have to round that up a little bit 150 they just can go a little faster it's not that bad.
- 33:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah something like that.
- 33:06SPEAKER_01: We go back and then the yeah we change the healthcare system as it was getting set up that's my that's my plan.
- 33:11SPEAKER_01: I'll buy don't worry I'll get the DeLorean it's for the it's a tax write off now.
- 33:16SPEAKER_01: Yes well we've talked about it so much that I'm sure when you have to go to court about this you can be like let me play you a hundred hours of inmoderation to prove that it's it's a tax it's a business expense vital for the show for for the income for for everything.
- 33:36SPEAKER_02: James okay you we've all been now in in the online social media fitness space for many years and we've all seen this thing slide down to some incredible depths.
- 33:51SPEAKER_02: What do you think is the future of of what we do here what do you think you know we are to expect a couple of years from now does the bullying subside no can this last forever health is going to get because people are not socializing they're forgetting that consequences exist they're not understanding societal norms lack of um literacy critical thinking and it's just gonna be pure unfiltered emotion that is going to be very evident either through their content or the comments and they won't really have the ability to have a dialogue or to understand.
- 34:34SPEAKER_03: Because again like Liam there was one point where I gave it some time to like all right let me go ahead and just walk away in their shoes and try to understand but like when I realize that they have no no motivation at all to see it any other way and they're just shutting the doors to other people other perspectives I'm just like all right fuck you.
- 34:57SPEAKER_01: Do you think though that's more people feel that way now than before or is it just that social media has given a platform because part of me thinks it's just like people always felt there's always been an amount of amount of people that have felt this way right like you go back 50 years there's I'm sure there's still people that felt the way the people the way people do now.
- 35:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah but I feel like they kept a lot to themselves.
- 35:16SPEAKER_01: But but was that just because of social so was that because they couldn't get their like they had to fucking write a newspaper like they they if they wanted to get that message out they had to write it in a bottle and throw it in the ocean and hope someone would like read it.
- 35:29SPEAKER_01: There was no they had like and then send it back and put it back in the ocean and I hope I'll get it right like now we have social media where you can just put that information out there.
- 35:41SPEAKER_01: They didn't have that in the 80s right like you had to put it on like this VHS just came out and they're like all right I'll put it on one of those and put it in a blockbuster and maybe someone will pick that up on accident like the I don't know a part of me thinks it's just that like I I do think more people now feel this way but like a lot of it is the fact that those voices are just the loudest and now they have the media the medium the medium to to express their their stupid opinions.
- 36:11SPEAKER_03: And they will their behaviors will be for their um the audience as opposed to maybe the intended people that they're trying to help or whatever.
- 36:23SPEAKER_03: And I could see it with like Noel like Ramidez and like other people like them.
- 36:27SPEAKER_03: It's like you're not trying to help anyone you're trying to get a mob against the people who you're helping you're just hiding under the guise of concern and I hate all you fake people and the people who stand either in grocery stores or outside of places and being like all right I'll pay you this much if I could buy you lunch or something.
- 36:46SPEAKER_03: Hey you fat nutrition dunts I'll I'll go ahead and get this for you and put a camera in your face and then the fucking commenters like it's just trying to help it's just trying to spread awareness.
- 37:00SPEAKER_02: People know cookies aren't health that's it's not raising awareness of anything.
- 37:04SPEAKER_03: You don't the plus that's not how behavior change works.
- 37:08SPEAKER_03: Yeah it's like you let him get a free lunch okay he's they're saved that's it because you got him a fucking pita.
- 37:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah it doesn't actually didn't have seed oils in it so I mean I'm just saying they used avocado oil in that one that so I think they're fine now I'm pretty sure that gets you they'll never go back to McDonald's ever again.
- 37:29SPEAKER_01: Right we took the red 40 out of Swedish fish.
- 37:31SPEAKER_01: It's fine.
- 37:32SPEAKER_01: Everything's good no I can't have my Swedish fish anymore.
- 37:35SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna have to go to uh the German fish I've I have a Swedish fish dealer.
- 37:42SPEAKER_02: Oh god I've got a and just furthermore on the you know just like these platforms uplifting these people who otherwise would have been silent um I I've got a quick story and then a question for you James I I once had somebody walk up to me and every interaction I've ever had in public has been very positive including this one.
- 38:02SPEAKER_02: This guy came up to me and he was apologizing.
- 38:05SPEAKER_02: And he's like hey man just want to like let you know like you know I I I feel bad and you know I I've said some things that I'm not really too proud of but like you know you're doing good work and I'm like I have no idea who this is I've never spoken to him I don't think and I but I'm trying to piece it together and I I guess he had like maybe left some angry comments on one of my posts or something.
- 38:30SPEAKER_02: And but he didn't have to come up to I wouldn't have known him.
- 38:33SPEAKER_02: So my my question to you as someone who gets a lot more hate comments than I do have you ever had a negative interaction in public?
- 38:42SPEAKER_03: They say the exact same thing as you like hey I don't agree with you really I I've given you shit before but you're you're a good guy and you have good information and stuff and like everything like that.
- 38:53SPEAKER_03: I'm like all right yeah cool.
- 38:56SPEAKER_03: And I've never had someone like whenever people stop me I do instinctually just make a fist just in case well that's just a New York thing.
- 39:10SPEAKER_03: And then they're like hi I just want to say I'm a big fan and then I'm can kind of let go but um funny story there was one time we went to the movies and like I took an edible and my wife drove obviously and um my daughter was staying at my um in-laws for the night so I was walking and I had these two dice um like ginger ale and someone was like oh you're James and I turned I'm like hi and I knew that my eyes are bloodshot so I was like looking down I'm like you're a fan and they're like yeah I'm like nice I'm like do you want a ginger ale and they're like oh no no and I can have a hug I'm like yeah and I just hug like this because I'm just like holding my ginger ale nice meeting you I have to go and like I was just like I was I was way too gone.
- 40:01SPEAKER_03: Oh that's hysterical but I said like please message me so I can give you a proper hello when I come back to reality.
- 40:09SPEAKER_01: Did did you get to contact that person?
- 40:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah yeah yeah she was sorry I was on Omicron per CIA as I met you uh did you enjoy your ginger ale yes a free diet ginger ale see that's a collector's item now yeah they could be like they can put that on their shelf and be like yeah James Coppola was high as shit and thought I couldn't see it.
- 40:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah that's pretty good and gave me a ginger ale he offered me a ginger ale yeah the these people like it if anybody's listening who's been like you know battered down by bullies it's you know we're we're fairly visible people and no one has ever come up to us in person and and given us a hard time no because they never would they never would they have bowls behind a screen that's all only on only on camera only on their keyboards that's even the big ones even the you know the the like yeah you know you you mentioned some names before um it it's these people they're they're silent they're scared I know so many have like tried to give me times and places to fight them and I'm like yeah sure sure I'll fly out there grown ass man father husband sketting a flight to fucking Georgia to fight someone the only guy I believe would actually engage in combat is Joey Douglas you know uh Joey Stitches I think he goes by now he used to go by Joey T fitness yeah he's uh he's a we had him on the show a while ago he's a badass you know him but yeah it's none of these people they'll say yeah time and place time and they'll never do it and they try to tell me like you're not scary I'm like I I didn't think I was trying to be scary.
- 41:55SPEAKER_02: It's like well you're not tough and I'm like okay I'll show you tough and I'm like look at you right now it's the opposite of tough it's embarrassing the way that you handle it most of the time where you just get on you you you you talk down to them and and and you make jokes about them is I think the best way to diffuse it.
- 42:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah and I still don't talk about their appearance unless it's like something like a makeover or something or fake lips.
- 42:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah but but but but I keep it on the subject matter I keep it classy I call them names but like they just like just drop like slurs at me make fun of my wife and like call me fat and out of shape which is just objectively not true now.
- 42:37SPEAKER_03: Never mind the ones that make fun of your daughter yeah like that's just it it's it almost is like all right so I'm on the right side these these are the people who are my enemy and they they this is who they are there is nothing that I could say to make them feel worse about themselves if they're able to do that.
- 43:03SPEAKER_03: And like the funny thing is like with like these people who like hate me so much I could say that they're in great shape or maybe you are a great coach to your clients or like stuff like that.
- 43:13SPEAKER_03: I could say no no matter what, no matter what transformation I show with my clients no matter the value that I show with like my posts of like correcting form and stuff like that or like nutrition and stuff no matter the shape that I'm in they will never ever ever give in yeah it's just I'm a fat enabler sugar coder pandering person who scams people and they're obsessed with what I charge which is so pathetic.
- 43:41SPEAKER_02: I saw that recently you could charge a dollar for coaching and they would say this guy's grifting because he's charging people to not coach them or whatever.
- 43:49SPEAKER_00: I know I know there and like the honest thing with charging is like you can charge whatever you want if people don't think you're worth that value they're not gonna pay it.
- 43:58SPEAKER_02: I know yeah they're like I would never pay this and I'm like like I would fucking take you these the thing is if we were bad coaches there would be a bad review out there.
- 44:09SPEAKER_02: The word would get out soon.
- 44:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah it's all we did was tell me to eat McDonald's every day.
- 44:17SPEAKER_02: I don't get it he told me that didn't have enough seed oils and red forty in it all right I have to pick something else I I I'm so confident with mine that like I I tell people I'm not gonna tell my client stories here you can get into a free class and you can talk to them.
- 44:30SPEAKER_02: If they want to tell you I'm a bad coach, they'll let you know.
- 44:33SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna let them talk about it.
- 44:34SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 44:35SPEAKER_03: And like people like try to like catch me like the fact that like I don't have that many before and afters and like because I don't really ask for them.
- 44:42SPEAKER_03: Number one.
- 44:43SPEAKER_03: And number two, a lot of them don't feel comfortable with it.
- 44:46SPEAKER_03: And I don't need that.
- 44:47SPEAKER_03: Like my People fill out my ex people fill out my applications because they could see my expertise through my content and they could see how I deal with people.
- 44:57SPEAKER_03: And occasionally I will share a story about a client and their success.
- 45:01SPEAKER_03: I don't need to advertise anything.
- 45:03SPEAKER_03: I don't need a cold DM.
- 45:04SPEAKER_03: I don't need to say DM me for coaching.
- 45:06SPEAKER_00: And the thing with the before and after pictures and like the P90 stuff is a prime example of this.
- 45:14SPEAKER_00: Is that you can take somebody from unfit to pretty good looking in 90 days.
- 45:21SPEAKER_00: It didn't teach them anything.
- 45:22SPEAKER_00: That after photo might look good, but it doesn't show that they kept any of that.
- 45:28SPEAKER_00: It doesn't show uh what they learned.
- 45:31SPEAKER_00: It doesn't show anything that and and like P90X, P90s, they're designed so that you do exactly that.
- 45:40SPEAKER_00: You go from the before to the after, and then after 30 days, you didn't learn anything.
- 45:46SPEAKER_00: So you actually end up resetting and you blame it on yourself.
- 45:49SPEAKER_00: Sure, sure.
- 45:50SPEAKER_00: Because you saw yourself doing good.
- 45:53SPEAKER_00: And then you go back and you're like, okay, maybe I need the next level of P90, whatever.
- 45:57SPEAKER_02: P90Z, P90Q, P90 We can we can do the rest of the alphabet here, put it up on the moderation store.
- 46:05SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and people act like I'm impressed when like these are the coaches who are like, My clients don't have CEOs, they're not processed food, they don't have this, they don't have this, they train this many days per week, and this is the transformation.
- 46:15SPEAKER_03: Like, no shit.
- 46:17SPEAKER_03: I could do that.
- 46:18SPEAKER_03: Don't eat, just give them a rubric.
- 46:20SPEAKER_03: Do this, give me money.
- 46:22SPEAKER_03: That's it.
- 46:23SPEAKER_03: Oh, this is hard.
- 46:24SPEAKER_03: You're weak, you don't have discipline.
- 46:26SPEAKER_03: Ah, I'm the best.
- 46:27SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna go lick my asshole now.
- 46:29SPEAKER_03: Fucking ass.
- 46:30SPEAKER_02: Now, if you could coach someone to have the flexibility to lick their own asshole, that would be.
- 46:34SPEAKER_02: Where would you start with that?
- 46:35SPEAKER_01: Is the question.
- 46:36SPEAKER_01: I somebody out there could you be going.
- 46:39SPEAKER_01: Do we go backwards or do we go forwards?
- 46:40SPEAKER_01: I'm confused.
- 46:41SPEAKER_03: 45s on your back.
- 46:42SPEAKER_03: I mean, we've got to we've we've got to dent the rib starting.
- 46:48SPEAKER_00: Was able to get pretty damn close.
- 46:50SPEAKER_01: Look, if we want that 90-day transformation, we gotta start with 45s.
- 46:54SPEAKER_01: Start with 45s, damn.
- 46:56SPEAKER_01: I'm a little all right.
- 46:56SPEAKER_01: I'm a little concerned, but you know, that they're the expert.
- 46:59SPEAKER_02: No, a good coach will have results from a year on.
- 47:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 47:06SPEAKER_02: You know, I I I've now I'm I'm at the point where I've either had clients for that long or I have clients that I'm still in contact with that I worked with a year ago or two years ago, who are still doing well.
- 47:17SPEAKER_02: That's impressive to me.
- 47:18SPEAKER_01: But isn't that like the ironic thing about it?
- 47:20SPEAKER_01: Because people want the fast results, right?
- 47:22SPEAKER_01: So they see the 630, 60, 90 day results.
- 47:25SPEAKER_01: They're like, that's what I want.
- 47:26SPEAKER_01: If they saw someone like this is a year later, they'd be like, a year, right?
- 47:31SPEAKER_03: That's why I say that my business is zero shortcuts because I want to be real.
- 47:37SPEAKER_03: However, even if it takes you six months to a year to finally get to where you want to get to, you're never gonna have to start over again, number one.
- 47:46SPEAKER_03: And number two, you are gonna notice results within the first few weeks.
- 47:50SPEAKER_03: It's just gonna be results like how you're moving better, how you're feeling better, how you're adapting to a new lifestyle, how you're making better choices, how this is becoming easier.
- 48:00SPEAKER_03: And all of a sudden, when it's second nature, three months will go by and you didn't even think of it as opposed to looking at your body or the scale like a hawk and doing this as a means to an end.
- 48:10SPEAKER_03: And then once you're just doing it for the sake of doing it, all of a sudden you're close start fitting better, you start seeing more muscle definition, and then you're there and you realize the whole time you were in your way.
- 48:19SPEAKER_03: And it wasn't the sugar, it wasn't processed food, it was your inability to realize that you have more power than you think.
- 48:26SPEAKER_02: This is the difference between you know what you do and a prescriptive program where it's just follow these instructions exactly, and then when you run out, you come back and get more from it.
- 48:37SPEAKER_02: You are teaching people how you got to those results.
- 48:41SPEAKER_02: That's more important than just having the results.
- 48:44SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'm very proud of my clients when they graduate.
- 48:47SPEAKER_03: It's fine.
- 48:47SPEAKER_03: I don't need a I mean, I have some clients that have had for 10 years, but it's just because we've just developed a relationship like that.
- 48:54SPEAKER_00: Well, I mean, sometimes you get the clients that just they they want somebody there to make the program for them because they don't want to do it.
- 49:02SPEAKER_00: That's that just happens.
- 49:04SPEAKER_02: That's fine, it's fine, whatever works.
- 49:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but yeah, having like you know, I don't have to think about my my calories anymore unless I want to gain or lose weight.
- 49:16SPEAKER_02: Oh, I don't track, I track my protein and fiber pretty much, but that's it.
- 49:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah, otherwise, yeah, it's like otherwise I don't have to think about it.
- 49:23SPEAKER_02: Like it's it's automatic, right?
- 49:26SPEAKER_02: It's you just you know how to make better choices, you know how to make choices that satisfy your body and fuel your body.
- 49:32SPEAKER_02: And it's you don't have to be beholden to a journal.
- 49:36SPEAKER_02: And that's what good coaching results in.
- 49:39SPEAKER_03: Well, did you guys see the woman who I stood up for yesterday who was sitting down working out, saying this is the body of someone who trains six days a week, walks 10 to 12 seconds?
- 49:49SPEAKER_01: I even did a video on that.
- 49:50SPEAKER_01: Did not see that.
- 49:50SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it it and just it was a it was a normal fit body with a few rolls when you sit down, completely human being shit, and just people were losing their minds.
- 50:01SPEAKER_03: Like, well, you're not on a calorie deficit.
- 50:03SPEAKER_03: No, no, you're obviously eating cakes and cookies and stuff, and it's like, what do you all think that health and fitness is?
- 50:10SPEAKER_03: Like, my gosh, she's not saying that if you do this, you'll get this body.
- 50:14SPEAKER_03: She's saying this normal body is also able to do this.
- 50:19SPEAKER_03: I think I was assuming like you oh, yeah, go on.
- 50:22SPEAKER_01: You can you can be healthy and not look, you know, dick skinned, shredded, or be looking like you're in a Marvel movie.
- 50:28SPEAKER_01: Like, I think that's just like, hey, this is what a healthy body is.
- 50:30SPEAKER_01: Like, it looks like this.
- 50:31SPEAKER_01: This isn't this is this is a body.
- 50:34SPEAKER_02: This is the woman, by the way.
- 50:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I was assuming it was gonna be somebody who was obese or something, was you know, working on it.
- 50:40SPEAKER_02: No, she looks totally like I mean that this is I don't know.
- 50:45SPEAKER_02: It for people to be angry about this is insane.
- 50:49SPEAKER_03: Because they're they're projecting how dare you show confidence where I couldn't, how dare you think that you made it?
- 50:55SPEAKER_03: How dare you think that this is what a body should look like.
- 50:58SPEAKER_03: I've sacrificed this, this, this, and this.
- 51:01SPEAKER_02: It's like shut up, you she's got muscle, she looks strong.
- 51:05SPEAKER_02: She's sitting down on a on a she's just sitting down, literally, she's just machine press.
- 51:09SPEAKER_03: And and lately, the latest form of trolling with me, I guess I just so like happen to be like getting like leaner and gaining more muscle.
- 51:17SPEAKER_03: Again, I'm not trying, it just happens with my activity and my nutrition.
- 51:22SPEAKER_03: And now they think that I'm lying about my weight.
- 51:25SPEAKER_03: So, like, either I'm fat or you're not saying that I don't have that much muscle at my height, or for some reason you think I'm lying about my height at 5'9, I would never lie and make it five nine.
- 51:35SPEAKER_00: Who yeah, who lies about being five'9?
- 51:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah, like you guys need to make up your mind because if you because objectively, and I'm not trying to like blow myself here, but uh around 240 pounds of five foot nine, I think I look fucking great.
- 51:52SPEAKER_03: And yeah, it's it's it's it's because I work very, very consistently hard.
- 51:58SPEAKER_03: I literally post my workouts every week, all of them, and they just like they have to give me a dig somehow.
- 52:05SPEAKER_01: It's crazy.
- 52:06SPEAKER_01: That's pretty much what I've come to.
- 52:07SPEAKER_01: It's just like on the internet, it does not just fitness, anything.
- 52:10SPEAKER_01: If you don't like someone, you just you find something, you know.
- 52:15SPEAKER_00: People are terrible at guessing weight.
- 52:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah, awful.
- 52:19SPEAKER_00: Like, that's why it's a a a thing in like prize fairs or something.
- 52:24SPEAKER_00: Guess the weight.
- 52:26SPEAKER_00: It's because most of the time people get it wrong.
- 52:28SPEAKER_01: I remember those.
- 52:29SPEAKER_01: Guess your weight.
- 52:30SPEAKER_01: Like, what a strange, I don't know.
- 52:32SPEAKER_01: That's just that was a a strange game they came up with.
- 52:35SPEAKER_02: Do you think the the internet bullies, the you know, the that main crop of bullies are just carnies that don't have a fair to go to anymore?
- 52:44SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 52:44SPEAKER_02: They're just by now.
- 52:46SPEAKER_02: You got the dunk tank clowns who are going on and saying, You're just fucking fat.
- 52:50SPEAKER_02: Do you like lying to that video you posted the other day?
- 52:53SPEAKER_02: That there was a uh heavier woman who said that she's addicted to working out, and then it cuts to another woman who was saying, Are you also addicted to lying?
- 53:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 53:04SPEAKER_02: Like you don't have to be dick skin shredded to like working out.
- 53:09SPEAKER_03: No, but the second you mention working out or dieting, you instantly have to be jacked and shredded in or uh petite.
- 53:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 53:17SPEAKER_02: Again, to anybody who's you know feeling battered by these bullies, they don't want you to succeed.
- 53:24SPEAKER_02: When they say go to the gym, go to the gym, go to the gym, you go to the gym, they get mad that you're in the gym.
- 53:30SPEAKER_01: You you cannot win, so don't try to appease them.
- 53:33SPEAKER_01: So that so instead, what you do is you go to the fair and you get a bunch of like tungsten cubes and you hide them.
- 53:39SPEAKER_01: Like you keep you have like a little jacket or something, you put like within the jacket, you hide a bunch of like tungsten cubes or like long, like maybe you make them long and thin so that you can hide them in your pants or something, and they get on there.
- 53:52SPEAKER_01: You're like, you're 300 pounds, like, yeah, you guessed wrong.
- 53:55SPEAKER_01: I just I'm very dense.
- 53:57SPEAKER_01: Very dense.
- 53:58SPEAKER_01: And then you win all the money.
- 53:59SPEAKER_01: That's it.
- 54:00SPEAKER_01: You move DeLorean, and then you buy a DeLorean.
- 54:02SPEAKER_01: That's literally where I was going.
- 54:03SPEAKER_01: You buy a DeLorean and you take all your tungsten rectangles and sheets and you put them right in there.
- 54:09SPEAKER_01: Now it won't be able to go anywhere and then.
- 54:10SPEAKER_00: And then you drive 10 minutes up the road until you're into the past, and then you can tell yourself not to buy them, and then you go back to the future and you have the DeLorean still.
- 54:19SPEAKER_01: And then you go to a Taco Bell and you open up your prison food slot and you get the small because that is all you're able to get through there.
- 54:27SPEAKER_02: Don't mind that as you're slowly waddling up to this scale, you sound like a burlap sack full of change.
- 54:35SPEAKER_01: It's gonna take some practice to like walk mostly normally.
- 54:39SPEAKER_01: But you'll get there.
- 54:41SPEAKER_01: You'll get there.
- 54:42SPEAKER_01: It's okay.
- 54:43SPEAKER_01: How much did those tungsten uh objects cost?
- 54:45SPEAKER_01: A lot of money.
- 54:46SPEAKER_01: Did it cover the the winnings?
- 54:48SPEAKER_01: No, it didn't at all.
- 54:50SPEAKER_01: But this is for the bit.
- 54:51SPEAKER_01: This is important.
- 54:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you got a stuffed pig holding a blunt.
- 54:56SPEAKER_01: You spent ten thousand dollars on tungsten, but it was worth it.
- 55:00SPEAKER_02: Oh, Jesus, James, to those people out there listening to this and you know, might be discouraged from working on stuff.
- 55:10SPEAKER_02: What what do you suggest they do and what do you have to say to them?
- 55:14SPEAKER_02: Discouraged on working on stuff.
- 55:15SPEAKER_03: Can you just elaborate a little bit more?
- 55:17SPEAKER_02: Like working on their health, working on fitness, their mental everything.
- 55:21SPEAKER_02: I hesitate if I'm just saying weight.
- 55:24SPEAKER_03: You're stuck in the headspace that you're in right now, and you think that that's going to be the entirety of it.
- 55:28SPEAKER_03: But it's gonna be a whole new you once you make it a part of your life.
- 55:31SPEAKER_03: You just have to be able to endure it while it sucks, while you're learning.
- 55:37SPEAKER_03: But each and every aspect of health truly does improve your quality of life.
- 55:41SPEAKER_03: It just feels like a task or a chore because it's uncomfortable.
- 55:43SPEAKER_03: But everything that we learn or adapt to that's worth learning and adapting to is uncomfortable.
- 55:49SPEAKER_03: And once you realize that, once you have that switch that it's not a diet, it's just nourishing yourself, it's not torture, it's just exercise.
- 55:57SPEAKER_03: Then there start to become more of an intrinsic motivation to show up.
- 56:01SPEAKER_03: And then once you stop caring, what everyone else thinks, you don't feel the pressure of the world on your shoulders, you just do it for you.
- 56:07SPEAKER_03: And eventually, a few months from now, you'll be wondering what took you so long to just give a shit about yourself.
- 56:15SPEAKER_00: Learning is a process.
- 56:17SPEAKER_01: Learning is a process.
- 56:18SPEAKER_00: And I I really like like comparing it to guitar.
- 56:22SPEAKER_00: If you start playing guitar, it's gonna fucking hurt your fingers.
- 56:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you don't have calluses, you don't know what you're doing, you're gonna suck at it, but you keep going at it, you're gonna build up the calluses, it's gonna you're it's gonna not hurt anymore, you're gonna get better at it.
- 56:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, just like anything.
- 56:39SPEAKER_00: And sooner or later you're doing it without even having to think about it.
- 56:42SPEAKER_01: And that is my exact attitude towards licking my own butthole.
- 56:46SPEAKER_01: At first, it's very difficult, you can't get anywhere near there, but you put the time and effort in, and then you're just there.
- 56:52SPEAKER_01: And don't problems.
- 56:53SPEAKER_01: But and everyone's like, wow, how'd you do that?
- 56:56SPEAKER_02: But don't worry, guys, there are a bunch of online bullies that have been able to get their heads entirely up their ass.
- 57:02SPEAKER_02: So everything is possible.
- 57:04SPEAKER_01: Everything.
- 57:05SPEAKER_02: If they can get their whole head up there, you can get your tongue on the rim.
- 57:08SPEAKER_01: You can get at least your tongue there.
- 57:10SPEAKER_02: Come on.
- 57:10SPEAKER_02: And that is the inmoderation slogan.
- 57:13SPEAKER_02: If they can get their whole head up there, you can touch your tongue to the rim.
- 57:16SPEAKER_03: But if you can, you can always just do an oil change and then out of time.
- 57:20SPEAKER_00: If people want to see you doing an oil change, James, where would they find you?
- 57:23SPEAKER_03: Um, James underscore Capola, C-A-P-P-O-L-A, and Jay Capola Fit Coach on TikTok, and James Capola on YouTube.
- 57:33SPEAKER_03: It's just it's taken it's taken forever.
- 57:35SPEAKER_03: I don't really care.
- 57:36SPEAKER_03: If you want to find me there, find me at the school.
- 57:38SPEAKER_03: I post everywhere else.
- 57:39SPEAKER_03: And that's double-P-P-N-L, right?
- 57:42SPEAKER_03: O-L-A, yep.
- 57:43SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 57:43SPEAKER_03: And James Capola on Facebook.
- 57:46SPEAKER_03: Thank you so much for having me, guys.
- 57:48SPEAKER_03: I really do appreciate it.
- 57:49SPEAKER_02: Thank you for coming back and hanging with us.
- 57:51SPEAKER_02: I feel like an hour is it is barely enough time to get into all the stuff that that you've got to say.
- 57:58SPEAKER_02: And and you you you're you're doing incredible work.
- 58:01SPEAKER_02: You're helping a lot more people than you're pissing off.
- 58:04SPEAKER_02: And it's I I just hope you know that it's we appreciate you tremendously as as a coach and as a human being.
- 58:13SPEAKER_02: Thank you, and I appreciate all of you.
- 58:15SPEAKER_00: We also appreciate Tammy.
- 58:17SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no.
- 58:18SPEAKER_02: Give her regards to you.
