  we do enjoy live streaming every once in a while, you know, and

  that's always fun because Lily loves to do what she calls Lily

  Cam when she's live streaming, you know, she likes to hold the

  camera and, and drive around in her chair and, and do her thing.

  But yeah, I would, I would say we're, we're more vloggers than

  we are live streamers. But there is those rare

  occasions where, you know, we can make it work and do a live

  stream and we have some fun with it.

  I don't know how you guys do this as much as you do.

  I, I feel like I get too stressed out live streaming,

  worrying about the signal and all that other stuff.

  But I think the more we did it, the more I realized, you know,

  out. And if we lag, so be it.

  You know, so so. I'm sorry, how did you decide to

  start the channel? What what, what brings you to

  what, what brought you to Florida because I know you are

  transplants and and then what made you decide to start the

  channel? Well, go ahead, Jen ask you

  could say what when we came to Florida stuff and then we'll let
• 10:03
  Lily just tell us what the why we did the channel.

  So way back in the day, Ken had graduated A semester before me
• 10:12
  in college and he's always had a background in golf and his
• 10:18
  degree was in broadcast communications.
• 10:21
  And. He the media production and he
• 10:23
  applied to the Golf Channel down in Florida.
• 10:26
  He's like, what do you think? And I had a semester left, so
• 10:28
  I'm like only don't have anything holding us here in
• 10:31
  Upper Peninsula Michigan 'cause it's kind of a rural area and
• 10:34
  nothing lined up. And so he end up getting the
• 10:38
  interview and coming down and ended up getting the job.
• 10:41
  So he moved a couple months before I did.
• 10:43
  And then I just followed him down and we're like, you know,
• 10:46
  we'll probably be the called the half backs.
• 10:48
  Like I guess people are where you move halfway back to home.
• 10:51
  So we'll just have been around in Chicago.
• 10:53
  We're like, we'll give it a little time and what, 22?
• 10:58
  Years later. 22 years later. 22 years later, wow, we're still
• 11:02
  enjoying our time here. So Lily is a true Floridian
• 11:05
  though. Yeah.
• 11:07
  Oh, how about that? Yeah, we, we moved here in O 4.
• 11:11
  Lily arrived three years later in O 7.
• 11:14
  And, and like Jenny said, I think our plan, even when we
• 11:17
  found out we were going to have a child that, you know, both our
• 11:19
  families are still from Michigan mostly.
• 11:21
  And we were like, all right, we'll, we'll, we'll have, you
• 11:24
  know, we'll have the, the child and then eventually we're
• 11:26
  probably going to move closer to home so she can enjoy the
• 11:28
  family. And then of course, you know,
• 11:30
  with, with her medical condition and everything that sort of
• 11:32
  changed everything because we didn't want to have to change
• 11:34
  1015 doctors and all this other stuff.
• 11:37
  When when she was born, you know, and spending 90 days in
• 11:40
  the NICU when she was born, she came early on top of it, you
• 11:42
  know, on top of her condition. And so with all the surgeries
• 11:46
  that we knew she was going to have to go through and all the
• 11:48
  different medical stuff, we fell in love with our doctors down
• 11:51
  here. So we didn't want to leave them
• 11:52
  either, you know, and because they did such a great job taking
• 11:54
  care of her and looking out for her.
• 11:56
  So I think that was a big reason why we continued to stay down
• 11:59
  here. And then of course, Lily then
• 12:01
  fell in love with Disney. And then, you know, the rest is
• 12:03
  history at this point, you know, so which leads Lily to let you
• 12:08
  know why she wanted to start her YouTube channel.
• 12:10
  Why did? You restart it.
• 12:14
  Because I want to show people in a wheelchair, including sunrise
• 12:17
  at Disney World, like Johnny Cruz called a wheelchair buzz.
• 12:22
  Like you're the same thing. Yeah.
• 12:25
  Yeah. She'd show them that it's
• 12:26
  possible. Yeah, she was she was very big
• 12:29
  into watching YouTube, you know, and she came to us one day and
• 12:32
  said, mom and dad, I want my own YouTube channel.
• 12:34
  You know, I sort of Jenny and I sort of like, I don't know what
• 12:36
  I mean. I know YouTube, but I don't know
• 12:38
  anything about making videos on YouTube and you know, and, and
• 12:40
  doing all this stuff. But you know, she was bound and
• 12:44
  determined that that was something that she said, Dad, I
• 12:46
  can do this, you know, I want to do this and I think I could, you
• 12:49
  know, and then Jenny and I talked about it.
• 12:51
  So you know what, she can do some good with her YouTube
• 12:53
  channel, you know, like I said, showing, showing people things
• 12:56
  they can still do at Disney World or even at some other
• 12:58
  parks at Universal of Hey, just because you're in a wheelchair
• 13:01
  doesn't mean you can't have fun at Disney and and can't enjoy
• 13:03
  the attractions. So our first few videos were a
• 13:06
  lot of showing people, Hey, here's what you can do.
• 13:09
  You know, here's what, here's a ride you can stay in your chair.
• 13:11
  Here's a ride you're going to have to, you know, you have to
• 13:14
  get out of your chair or whatever it is.
• 13:16
  Luckily for us, you know, Lily's small enough still that we can
• 13:19
  pretty much put her on anything, regardless if she has to leave
• 13:21
  her chair or not, you know, which is great.
• 13:23
  But, and then it just sort of grew from there of just having
• 13:26
  fun at Disney every weekend, you know, and, and just having some
• 13:29
  fun and, and we haven't looked back, but I am so happy and
• 13:32
  proud of Lily for doing it and she's continuing to do it.
• 13:35
  She's, you know, it's the one thing she truly loves, you know,
• 13:38
  watching YouTube and and doing her own videos.
• 13:40
  So it's great for her. Yeah, I love watching being on a
• 13:43
  live stream and seeing Lily pop in there.

  I'm like, oh, it's going to be a good live stream.
• 13:50
  Lily's in Chad, It's going to be a good one.

  of the Galaxy is just just totally fun.

  in that ride for the first time, I still remember Lily and I,

  this was back when you had to get to the park 3 hours before

  they open to hope you got a pass to go on the ride.

  You know what I'm saying? So we were there at 5:00 in the

  morning chat, sat there, got and.

  And even if you did show up, there was no guarantee you even
• 16:05
  got a pass, which was crazy. Right.

  So it was like, and, and I'll, I'll share the story because

  when we got in there, this was the first, you know, that was
• 16:13
  really the first time you had to do stuff on your phone to, in
• 16:16
  order to get a pass, you know, and it was sort of like, it was
• 16:18
  the first time I'd ever done it. And of course I screwed it up.

  I got the pass, but Lily was with me, but for some reason I
• 16:23
  didn't select her and she didn't get the pass.

  So I had to go to guest relations and say, listen, you
• 16:28
  better add her to this passage, you're going to have problems.

  But so they did. But anyways.

  But yeah, but between that and I'll say Toy Story mania is, I

  think the one that the three of us would say we enjoy a lot just
• 16:44
  because of the the times we've had on there.

  Lily plays for accuracy. So Corey, doesn't matter how

  many points you score. You got to beat her in accuracy.

  power wheelchair, it's a tight fit in the, in the and the buggy

  you sit in now for that. It's a little bit smaller than

  the old one. So we had to first time we went

  on there, we had to maneuver Lily's chair a little bit to

  make sure she could fit in there.

  But now that we know it's a little bit easier.

  But again, that's part of the reason why we do the channel

  stuff is to let people know that, hey, you can still bring

  your chair on there, but it's a little bit of a tighter fit now.

  rubbing up against me here, but she's a happy kid.

  happy because they don't worry about the same garbage that we

  They just live their life one day at a time and they just want

  My biggest thing was just, I just, I just prayed that she

  waiting in line for this was that animal Kingdom, I believe

  was Winnie the Pooh and Tigger back in the section, I think

  where it's a, it's not, they're not there anymore, but she fell

  asleep. We were eight in the line and

  then literally 2, two groups in front of us.

  She fell asleep on us, you know, and so we took pictures of her

  just sleeping Winnie the Pooh and Eora numbered sort of doing

  the sleeping thing next to her, blah, blah, blah.

  And then I still remember the first time she ever saw Tigger.

  I mean, you want to talk about some girl's eyes lighting up

  like she had never seen, you know, like she just saw the best

  that was the first sign that we knew she's going to be hooked to

  ones we've encountered because I've seen so many cast members

  go out of their way to do stuff for Lily while she's at the park

  they're thinking, oh, this is the first time or maybe the last

  time we'll see Lily here. So they're gonna give.

  But that's how they treat her. It's like, you know, it's every

  time we've gone there, whether it's a cast member or like I

  said, a character or what have you, they, they, they go so far
