- 0:02Speaker 1: This is Kevin Sports every daily here on one of
- 0:06Speaker 1: five point nine Radio Focused and we're bringing you the
- 0:08Speaker 1: folks done and hive sports show. On today's show, we
- 0:16Speaker 1: have reports on local football, rugby, hockey, wheelchair basketball, cross
- 0:22Speaker 1: country running, an update on last week's Next Generation's fundraiser,
- 0:27Speaker 1: and perhaps a bit more or a bit less if
- 0:29Speaker 1: we get busy with how guests today, So we've got
- 0:33Speaker 1: to see how it goes. If we leave anything out today,
- 0:35Speaker 1: it will certainly go on Saturday show. Now, my guest
- 0:44Speaker 1: today is Cassie Sinclair. She's a very sporty lady who
- 0:48Speaker 1: combines the love of sport with camera work and photography
- 0:52Speaker 1: and video production. Are we're going to find out exactly
- 0:59Speaker 1: what she does.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:02Speaker 1: I've been in and around the playlist for some camera
- 1:04Speaker 1: related songs, so let's start with this one from Astick Camera,
- 1:19Speaker 1: very import so from nineteen eighty seven. They're somewhere in
- 1:34Speaker 1: My Heart and we're going with it with a camera
- 1:37Speaker 1: theme today. And so that was Aztek Camera. Because I'm
- 1:42Speaker 1: joined in the studio by Cassandra Sinclet. It's very posh name,
- 1:45Speaker 1: isn't it. We've just been talking about the name. But anyway, Cassie,
- 1:48Speaker 1: welcome to the show.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Thank you so much. Kevin.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, So now then, do you know what Cassandra
- 1:56Speaker 1: it's not a very not very common name, should I say,
- 1:58Speaker 1: but it's a lovely name.
- 2:00Speaker 2: But I put it in the search engine of Google.
- 2:03Speaker 1: I put Cassandra in and I really thought that, like
- 2:06Speaker 1: only Fools and Horses, Rodney's girlfriend was going to pop up,
- 2:09Speaker 1: but it didn't. So Cassandra, Cassandra in Greek mythology is
- 2:15Speaker 1: a Trojan prince priestess.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Are you a Trojan priestess?
- 2:19Speaker 3: I don't know. Some people might say.
- 2:22Speaker 1: We're going to find out in the next half and
- 2:25Speaker 1: hour three quarters of an hour or so, but anyway, today,
- 2:28Speaker 1: thanks for coming in. Now, you are a sporty lady
- 2:31Speaker 1: that likes videography and photography. So if you like, tell
- 2:37Speaker 1: us a bit about your early days, your sporty context,
- 2:40Speaker 1: What you did, what, what was your lover?
- 2:41Speaker 2: What was your favorite boy? What did you do? What
- 2:43Speaker 2: did you take part in?
- 2:44Speaker 4: Okay, so during school specifically, I loved sprinting.
- 2:49Speaker 3: That was like my passion.
- 2:50Speaker 4: And it was my games teacher that said, I think
- 2:53Speaker 4: you need to go and do something with this. So
- 2:56Speaker 4: I went and competed in Ashford Rose Stadium for a
- 3:01Speaker 4: couple of competitions and then it kind of tailed off
- 3:05Speaker 4: a little bit. But then recently I've gone back into
- 3:08Speaker 4: doing a bit more long distance running. But now I'm
- 3:12Speaker 4: on a new program and I'm doing sprinting again.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Oh yeah, okay, because you've got the benefit of the
- 3:16Speaker 1: track obviously down down at the folks and there.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:20Speaker 2: So I mean back of the day then when you
- 3:22Speaker 2: were you were you sprinting because you liked it or
- 3:24Speaker 2: did you join the club or was it through the school?
- 3:27Speaker 4: It was through the school really, I mean I was
- 3:29Speaker 4: always sporty. We did a lot of hockey, we did
- 3:32Speaker 4: basketball and rugby then and I just I loved it
- 3:37Speaker 4: so much. And then it was sprinting because I was
- 3:40Speaker 4: good at it as well. And from there I was
- 3:43Speaker 4: just really just wanted to keep doing more.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, excellent. So what was the change?
- 3:49Speaker 1: Was it was it time to leave school and move
- 3:51Speaker 1: away or something, you know, your sport kind of died off?
- 3:55Speaker 4: Well really I was kind of in two minds really,
- 3:58Speaker 4: Like I found my passion with ptography. I always was
- 4:01Speaker 4: taking pictures of my friends and things and during school
- 4:05Speaker 4: and because it was a school where we didn't have
- 4:07Speaker 4: anything digital, so that was the only thing that I
- 4:11Speaker 4: was allowed essentially to do. So from that that's when
- 4:17Speaker 4: I realized, actually, I probably should pursue photography more than
- 4:20Speaker 4: my sport. So that's when I went on to college
- 4:24Speaker 4: and I studied photography, and then later on went to
- 4:27Speaker 4: university and studied photography and video.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Right, okay, so back in the day then, no digital stuff.
- 4:34Speaker 1: What sort of cameras were you using? Like you have
- 4:36Speaker 1: to put the film.
- 4:37Speaker 2: In and roll it.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Analogue?
- 4:38Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's what they call it. Analogue.
- 4:42Speaker 2: It was black and white.
- 4:45Speaker 1: But okay, so I mean in that course, apart from
- 4:48Speaker 1: taking pictures, do you learn did you learn about like
- 4:51Speaker 1: developing the exposure?
- 4:52Speaker 2: All that? Obviously it must go.
- 4:53Speaker 4: With the Yeah, I mean the reason why I chose
- 4:56Speaker 4: Ashvid not because of convenience being close by, It was
- 5:00Speaker 4: because of that. You get to learn the old style
- 5:02Speaker 4: of photography. You learn the basics. Then you know, okay,
- 5:06Speaker 4: do you want to do this further or do you
- 5:07Speaker 4: want to go more digital? And I still have a
- 5:10Speaker 4: love for analog photography, but at the.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Moment, as you know, what, my dad was a photographer
- 5:19Speaker 1: and back in the day.
- 5:20Speaker 2: I'm going back a long time now.
- 5:22Speaker 1: It converted one of the bedrooms into like a dark room,
- 5:26Speaker 1: and you couldn't go in there, you know, because if
- 5:29Speaker 1: you if you did go in when you was allowed in,
- 5:30Speaker 1: they had all these trays with a fixer and developer
- 5:34Speaker 1: and he had like a washing line across the bedroom
- 5:37Speaker 1: of all these I used to do a bit of
- 5:39Speaker 1: sport photography actually just the team team photos and stuff
- 5:43Speaker 1: like that, but he did more weddings. But we had
- 5:46Speaker 1: boxes and boxes of black and white photos, shoe boxes.
- 5:51Speaker 1: They are everywhere.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, but I mean hell, even then, Cassie, you
- 5:58Speaker 2: can't see the improvement and changes that have come so quickly.
- 6:02Speaker 2: And now it's made available almost to everybody.
- 6:05Speaker 4: Yeah it is, Yeah, And there's such a competition out
- 6:08Speaker 4: there there, really is. You're really trying to find your
- 6:11Speaker 4: niche or your you know, speciality. It's like really difficult,
- 6:15Speaker 4: but yeah, you have to just find it and just
- 6:18Speaker 4: go with it.
- 6:19Speaker 1: So when you left university, then, did you have a
- 6:22Speaker 1: job or did you go out on your own straight away?
- 6:24Speaker 2: No?
- 6:25Speaker 4: So I during university I decided I wanted to do
- 6:29Speaker 4: an internship. And the internship that I did was in
- 6:34Speaker 4: Milton Keynes. So I went to university in Leicester and
- 6:38Speaker 4: so it wasn't too far away and they were an
- 6:41Speaker 4: events company and with the internship, I was able to
- 6:45Speaker 4: kind of get a really a great valuable scope in
- 6:49Speaker 4: you know, what it's like to content create and what
- 6:52Speaker 4: their shows, you know what they did on the shows,
- 6:54Speaker 4: and they all went out into resorts and cruise ships
- 6:58Speaker 4: and that sort of thing, and it really.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Opened my eyes and thought, oh wow, I really want.
- 7:02Speaker 4: To do this. Yeah yeah, and it was all for
- 7:05Speaker 4: just social media content really and I just found a
- 7:08Speaker 4: love within that. And then after my internship and I
- 7:11Speaker 4: finished university, they were like, well, do you.
- 7:15Speaker 3: Want the job?
- 7:16Speaker 4: So I was like yeah, I mean you know, there
- 7:19Speaker 4: were you know, elements of like the job description did
- 7:24Speaker 4: go out to other people, but they did say like,
- 7:27Speaker 4: go for it, and I did, and then I managed
- 7:29Speaker 4: to get the job, and yeah, I loved it. But
- 7:31Speaker 4: unfortunately COVID happened and I was fay redundant twice.
- 7:34Speaker 3: So I'm no longer with them anymore.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, COVID hit just about everything.
- 7:39Speaker 1: And yeah, so after COVID, you thought, well go out
- 7:43Speaker 1: on my own or was it a bit later it was.
- 7:45Speaker 4: Well, it was a very challenging time for me. Like
- 7:49Speaker 4: most people, I understand, but I really had to sort
- 7:52Speaker 4: of home in on what am I doing?
- 7:55Speaker 3: How am I doing it?
- 7:56Speaker 4: Because during COVID, you you know, the entertainment field sort
- 8:00Speaker 4: of collapsed and you had to find other means of survival. Really,
- 8:04Speaker 4: so I worked in occupational health and there was like
- 8:09Speaker 4: a twelve month contract and I was getting so far
- 8:12Speaker 4: away from myself, and even though there were elements of
- 8:15Speaker 4: creating like photos and videos for them, it just I'm
- 8:18Speaker 4: not a medical girl. I'm not a corporate goal in
- 8:21Speaker 4: that way. So I just sort of had a big
- 8:24Speaker 4: talking to, I guess, and just said what do I
- 8:27Speaker 4: want to do?
- 8:28Speaker 3: How do I want to do it?
- 8:29Speaker 4: And then I decided I would contact the Prince's Trust
- 8:33Speaker 4: and gain a mentor and then make my own business.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Okay, excellent, this is this just sounds like it's riving
- 8:41Speaker 1: up to be a really good story.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Okay, we're going to take a.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Little break now, and we've got a song coming up,
- 8:48Speaker 1: and you've chosen this one, and tell me why you've
- 8:53Speaker 1: chosen this song.
- 8:54Speaker 3: So this one is mainly because of my dad.
- 8:59Speaker 4: I mean, he's always been photo mad as well, and
- 9:04Speaker 4: he always used to take pictures on family holidays and
- 9:07Speaker 4: a special place in my heart is our family holiday
- 9:10Speaker 4: in France, and whenever we used to drive down there
- 9:13Speaker 4: from school schoo holidays, I would always play this particular
- 9:18Speaker 4: artist and yeah, I thought.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Okay, further ado, you could introduce it. You tell me
- 9:25Speaker 1: and I'll hit the button.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Who is it?
- 9:28Speaker 3: And it's my life?
- 9:30Speaker 2: That's it. A song for the Brookian Hut.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Wow, what a great tribe. Bon Jovi is my life
- 9:54Speaker 1: and what a great choice. Cuss you well done. I'll
- 9:56Speaker 1: tell you what. We've been jumping up and down, rocking
- 9:58Speaker 1: around the studio has been brilliant, and this morning I
- 10:03Speaker 1: knew it was on there.
- 10:04Speaker 2: I'n't seen it for a long time.
- 10:05Speaker 1: If you love bon Jovi, go onto YouTube and just
- 10:09Speaker 1: put a bonjob flash mob or rock mob and you'll
- 10:13Speaker 1: see two awesome videos. And they were in Russia. Actually,
- 10:17Speaker 1: I mean they're singing away in English. I don't if
- 10:18Speaker 1: I know what they're singing about. So I actually printed
- 10:22Speaker 1: off the lyrics and they are fantastic lyrics. And I
- 10:25Speaker 1: was just saying to Cassie or Fear, I've decided this
- 10:27Speaker 1: is my funeral song. As they bring my coffin into
- 10:30Speaker 1: the gramatorium, I want everybody in pumping and rocking. What
- 10:34Speaker 1: a great choice. Okay, we're digressing a little bit. Okay,
- 10:37Speaker 1: So Cassie, we were talking about the Prince's Trust.
- 10:40Speaker 2: How did that work and how did.
- 10:42Speaker 4: They help you? I, after obviously the pandemic and like
- 10:45Speaker 4: reevaluating things, I knew that I needed to have a
- 10:48Speaker 4: mentor or someone on board with me that wasn't going
- 10:51Speaker 4: to be a family or friend or anything like that.
- 10:53Speaker 4: So I was just looking online and decided, okay, well
- 10:56Speaker 4: Princess Trust would be what was known then. Now the
- 10:59Speaker 4: King's Trust would be a really good opportunity for me.
- 11:02Speaker 4: And yeah, they've given me so much guidance. I have
- 11:06Speaker 4: my personal mentor who we chat basically every well almost
- 11:10Speaker 4: every day some days it's you know, it varies each week,
- 11:15Speaker 4: two week, but they just help with I guess it's
- 11:19Speaker 4: ideas of am I going down the right path and
- 11:23Speaker 4: I thinking of the right things. They really build you
- 11:26Speaker 4: up to kind of you know, get in contact with
- 11:29Speaker 4: you know, your clients and how you go about things
- 11:32Speaker 4: and even just starting up your own company with like
- 11:34Speaker 4: packages or you know. But yeah, they really do home
- 11:37Speaker 4: in on what exactly that you want to achieve, and
- 11:40Speaker 4: then they just help you try and achieve that.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Yeah, And I mean it must have been tough to
- 11:45Speaker 1: start with, because I mean, for a start, you know,
- 11:48Speaker 1: we've had COVID and you've changed directions a little bit.
- 11:51Speaker 1: But I mean, did you have actually by that time,
- 11:54Speaker 1: any equipment because it's expensive, isn't it? It's very expensive,
- 11:57Speaker 1: very expensive, very professional type video video cameras.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Yeah, and did you have any kid like that or.
- 12:03Speaker 4: I think yeah, because of university, I invested a lot
- 12:07Speaker 4: of my time and money into equipment. I did upgrade
- 12:12Speaker 4: as well, like as time's gone on, because you kind
- 12:14Speaker 4: of need better. Yeah, And the Princess Trust do help
- 12:18Speaker 4: with finances in that way, so they do think, you know,
- 12:21Speaker 4: they do. You think about everything, every aspect. If you
- 12:24Speaker 4: need a certain camera, if you need a certain whatever
- 12:26Speaker 4: it is, it's like, yeah, okay, well this makes sense
- 12:29Speaker 4: for why you need it, and let's try and you
- 12:32Speaker 4: offer that sort of money to you.
- 12:33Speaker 1: So yeah, I mean how long would I on board
- 12:37Speaker 1: before you kind of said okay, Princess Trust, you know,
- 12:40Speaker 1: thank you for your help, but I need to go
- 12:42Speaker 1: out and do something now.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Oh that hasn't happened yet.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Oh you still in touch with them?
- 12:47Speaker 4: Yeah, so they spend about five years making sure you
- 12:51Speaker 4: do really make a success of it. Because I was
- 12:54Speaker 4: quite shocked because I thought, oh, everyone just gets through. Nope,
- 12:59Speaker 4: you kind of get some a bit like Dragon's Den. Yeah, yeah,
- 13:02Speaker 4: you know, you have to pitch and you have to
- 13:03Speaker 4: do all these things. It's not as serious as that,
- 13:07Speaker 4: but it's within the same concept. So yeah, they've been
- 13:11Speaker 4: really supportive and even it's not just my mentor like
- 13:14Speaker 4: other people behind the scenes sort of thing. And yeah,
- 13:17Speaker 4: they're there now for the next four or five years.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Really, Okay, I bet a lot of people didn't know that.
- 13:22Speaker 1: I thought they'd just give you a little their advice,
- 13:23Speaker 1: little phone call. Well, yeah, that's great. Yeah, okay, so
- 13:27Speaker 1: let's switch to sport now. So let's say you've got
- 13:29Speaker 1: all your kid now and your rearing to go, where
- 13:33Speaker 1: do you find your clients to film?
- 13:36Speaker 4: So I started with three disciplines to sort of target.
- 13:41Speaker 4: So I had cycling, equestrian and also canines. And I
- 13:45Speaker 4: thought that would be quite a good starting point for
- 13:49Speaker 4: me because it means I have a sort of an avenue.
- 13:51Speaker 4: But now that's sort of branched out to like swimmers,
- 13:55Speaker 4: running obviously, and then hockey as well, so it kind
- 13:59Speaker 4: of it's not limited to as much now, but there was,
- 14:03Speaker 4: you know, there had to be a sort of a
- 14:05Speaker 4: point where I was like, okay, well let's focus on them.
- 14:08Speaker 4: And I have a lot of like I have a
- 14:11Speaker 4: passion for those sorts of sports anyway, So I love animals,
- 14:15Speaker 4: so and I used to ride horses, always had a dog,
- 14:20Speaker 4: and I love cycling. So you know, it kind of
- 14:22Speaker 4: made sense for me to try and start with those
- 14:24Speaker 4: core bits because I understood them from a different angle
- 14:27Speaker 4: as well.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Right, I mean that does make sense because it's a
- 14:30Speaker 1: bit like if you're like, I mean, I've been running
- 14:33Speaker 1: all my life and now my connection with running is
- 14:36Speaker 1: going to running events and helping out a running event.
- 14:38Speaker 1: So the fact you've got a core interest and then
- 14:41Speaker 1: that will make your clients, I suspect, relax and know
- 14:45Speaker 1: that you know what you're talking about.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, so well we are.
- 14:52Speaker 1: We've got a little current project that we've been talking about,
- 14:56Speaker 1: and I think we want to mention it is that
- 14:59Speaker 1: what I'm being to do is to get some guests
- 15:02Speaker 1: in and just before the London Marathon and for three
- 15:07Speaker 1: or four people that are running the London Marathon for
- 15:10Speaker 1: the very first time. They've never run in London before,
- 15:13Speaker 1: never run a marathon before, and they're doing it for charity.
- 15:16Speaker 1: A lot of boxes to tick, but I'm hoping. So
- 15:18Speaker 1: we're going to try and pull them together and with
- 15:20Speaker 1: their permission, we're going to try and film it. Yeah,
- 15:23Speaker 1: that's a little cheeky announcement there, But what they're going
- 15:27Speaker 1: to do next week. We've got a guest to come
- 15:29Speaker 1: in next week, mister Ian Vousden, who is currently Cassie.
- 15:34Speaker 1: You've been chasing him around all over the place. He's
- 15:38Speaker 1: running around and you have to run beyond him and
- 15:40Speaker 1: your camera or do you just stand at the start finishing,
- 15:45Speaker 1: say right if you go in?
- 15:46Speaker 3: Yeah, a bit of a mixture, Okay.
- 15:50Speaker 2: So we're hoping next week to do as part of
- 15:53Speaker 2: this project is to hope to get Ian in and
- 15:57Speaker 2: film him during the interview.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Let's hope that works out all right. So okay, So
- 16:03Speaker 1: let's say you've got a client like Ian. How long
- 16:06Speaker 1: has he been with you and what have you been
- 16:08Speaker 1: doing with him so far?
- 16:09Speaker 3: Okay?
- 16:10Speaker 4: So Ian approached me because he wants to have a
- 16:13Speaker 4: video to promote himself on social media. So because he's
- 16:18Speaker 4: doing he's I don't want to give too much away,
- 16:21Speaker 4: but he's doing a marathon and he's doing this one
- 16:24Speaker 4: specifically for charity. He thought it'd be better to have
- 16:28Speaker 4: a scope, sorry, to have a video to then get
- 16:30Speaker 4: a scope for what he's actually trying to achieve because
- 16:33Speaker 4: he's doing it.
- 16:35Speaker 3: So what we've been doing is last.
- 16:38Speaker 4: Week we filmed him talking to camera. We gave him
- 16:41Speaker 4: a sort of a transcript to sort of read off
- 16:43Speaker 4: and then sort of filling some gaps during the weeks
- 16:47Speaker 4: really so we've done a lot of athletics training, We've
- 16:51Speaker 4: gone on runs together and we've also got him doing
- 16:54Speaker 4: group runs as well, and he's got a little bit
- 16:56Speaker 4: of footage roun his camera if I haven't been there,
- 16:59Speaker 4: you know, it really just brings in like the core
- 17:01Speaker 4: elements of like what he's trying to do.
- 17:03Speaker 3: And how to achieve. It reflects what he's been saying.
- 17:06Speaker 2: So do you do you have to still wait?
- 17:09Speaker 1: I mean until if you like, we've done the video
- 17:11Speaker 1: in a couple of weeks up the line, before you
- 17:13Speaker 1: do a final package or can you can you put
- 17:16Speaker 1: bits together nail to show him or do you have
- 17:18Speaker 1: to wait to the very end and then show him
- 17:19Speaker 1: the end product?
- 17:20Speaker 4: So for particular, for Ian, he wants it all sort
- 17:25Speaker 4: of done and dusted in one video to sort of
- 17:27Speaker 4: take off. But yeah, there are some clients of mine
- 17:30Speaker 4: that I have been sort of sending little bits of
- 17:33Speaker 4: content as it goes because I think it's quite good
- 17:36Speaker 4: to kind of give feelers out there. And it also
- 17:38Speaker 4: it kind of rumps up, you know, the momentum for things.
- 17:41Speaker 4: So it's very very different with different clients, but you
- 17:46Speaker 4: know how it exciting.
- 17:50Speaker 2: So you've been on a round with him.
- 17:54Speaker 1: I mean I just think from the practical point of view,
- 17:58Speaker 1: you know, you go, Ian, that was ub She's going
- 18:00Speaker 1: off to go back another half a mile and do
- 18:02Speaker 1: that again. And he runs up there is really aching
- 18:05Speaker 1: and puts a big smile on his face, pretending he's
- 18:07Speaker 1: enjoyed it.
- 18:09Speaker 2: No, that was rubbish to again, are you a bossly
- 18:12Speaker 2: lot producer?
- 18:15Speaker 4: I don't know what I think we're about to find
- 18:16Speaker 4: out next week, but no, Like I mean, I do
- 18:20Speaker 4: have a drone, so there are they can actually like
- 18:23Speaker 4: sort of not and chase my tail so much. But
- 18:27Speaker 4: there hasn't been so many sort of retakes. I kind
- 18:29Speaker 4: of just keep it quite natural. I try and keep
- 18:31Speaker 4: it as natural as possible because I think more authentic
- 18:35Speaker 4: footage really sells actually, and then trying to like really
- 18:38Speaker 4: perfect it and make it, you know, something that it
- 18:41Speaker 4: wasn't originally to start with.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Okay, we're gonna have a little break, but I must
- 18:45Speaker 1: be when we're talking about this.
- 18:46Speaker 2: I did see a picture of you running around the track.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Took that then? Or did you sit that?
- 18:51Speaker 3: Of course, don't see without a camera.
- 18:57Speaker 1: This is the lady that goes everywhere with the camera.
- 18:59Speaker 1: And there my good photograph man. Okay, some for another
- 19:02Speaker 1: bit of music, and this will make you chuckle. This
- 19:04Speaker 1: is kind of a one hit wonder really and it's
- 19:08Speaker 1: all about video and radio and this is the Buggles
- 19:12Speaker 1: and it might be it might be the end of
- 19:13Speaker 1: my job now because this one's called video Killed the
- 19:16Speaker 1: Radio Star.
- 19:33Speaker 3: I heard you want more while.
- 19:37Speaker 2: Video Killed the Radio Star.
- 19:38Speaker 1: That's just about perfect for this morning. Okay, So Cassie,
- 19:44Speaker 1: back to you now. We spoke about what you do
- 19:47Speaker 1: and where you do it and your your clean tail,
- 19:50Speaker 1: if you like, so tell us a little bit about
- 19:53Speaker 1: if you like the structure of your company. Has it
- 19:56Speaker 1: got a name or use? Is it just you your
- 19:57Speaker 1: self employed? If you've got twenty people out there with
- 20:00Speaker 1: cameras running around all over all over folcused all over Kent.
- 20:05Speaker 4: So I have a few freelancers that I work closely
- 20:08Speaker 4: with depending on the project, obviously I need the extra
- 20:11Speaker 4: extra hands. But yeah, so the company is called your
- 20:16Speaker 4: bond to Creative Productions. It's not to be mistaken by
- 20:20Speaker 4: U bond to the Software Company because that is a
- 20:23Speaker 4: very big company. But yeah, it's uh it means humanity
- 20:27Speaker 4: in Zulu.
- 20:28Speaker 2: So if people want to get hold of you, because
- 20:31Speaker 2: I tried to look it up, you have to put
- 20:33Speaker 2: me in the right direction. How do they get hold
- 20:34Speaker 2: of you?
- 20:36Speaker 4: It's pretty really simple via email really, So you bond
- 20:39Speaker 4: to Creative Productions at gmail dot com or you can
- 20:42Speaker 4: go via the website which is U bond to Creative
- 20:44Speaker 4: Productions dot co dot UK.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Okay, so you bun to you be you ntu that's
- 20:50Speaker 1: the keyword in it. So if they perhaps put U
- 20:52Speaker 1: bun to focused it in and then they can chase
- 20:55Speaker 1: around the links and I find okay, And if anyone
- 20:59Speaker 1: wants to get in touch with cas so you can
- 21:01Speaker 1: always drop me a line and I'll put you in
- 21:04Speaker 1: touch with that. Okay, So now next week we talk
- 21:08Speaker 1: about that. I think we've got Ian coming in and
- 21:12Speaker 1: what do you hope to achieve from from next week's filming?
- 21:15Speaker 1: If you like, is it just a profile of him
- 21:20Speaker 1: and what he's putting out, what he's producing.
- 21:23Speaker 4: Well, I think it goes quite nicely with like the
- 21:26Speaker 4: sort of stepping stones to launching his video really because
- 21:30Speaker 4: it keeps him looks like he's keeping busy. And also
- 21:34Speaker 4: it's like I think it's just another extra bit of content.
- 21:38Speaker 4: Whatever we choose to do with it, I think more
- 21:41Speaker 4: is better than not doing it at all. So just
- 21:44Speaker 4: sometimes it just adds a bit more value in other areas.
- 21:47Speaker 1: And with this filming, I think I was just wondering,
- 21:50Speaker 1: is it kind of distracting him from his training?
- 21:53Speaker 2: You know? But he just does he come out or
- 21:55Speaker 2: looking you.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Know, all Crawford and make sure a nice shave, and
- 22:00Speaker 1: that was he just come out el smelly and every
- 22:03Speaker 1: runner does.
- 22:04Speaker 4: I don't know because I asked him if he could
- 22:06Speaker 4: use his where he's one of his tops, he's like
- 22:09Speaker 4: sponsored top. I'm not body ready yet, but no, he's
- 22:14Speaker 4: not always in the gym for.
- 22:16Speaker 2: A few weeks before I put that on.
- 22:18Speaker 3: Yeah, no, not today.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Well, we're going to pick his brains next week. I
- 22:22Speaker 1: won't make it easy for him. What I want to see.
- 22:27Speaker 1: You can just send it to me privately. Cases all
- 22:30Speaker 1: that they call him outtakes. Oh, absolutely, yeah, send that
- 22:36Speaker 1: to Yeah, all right, I've.
- 22:37Speaker 3: Definitely got a folder around.
- 22:42Speaker 2: Okay.
- 22:42Speaker 1: So anyway, we're coming to the end of this really exciting,
- 22:46Speaker 1: really intriguing morning, and and it's really good that you
- 22:50Speaker 1: can come in. This has kind of been a little
- 22:51Speaker 1: practice for you to come in and have a look
- 22:53Speaker 1: at the studio.
- 22:54Speaker 2: And so.
- 22:56Speaker 1: For next week, there's anything you want to add, there
- 22:58Speaker 1: is anything you know any do you think there's any
- 23:01Speaker 1: sports out there that if people phone you up, Oh
- 23:04Speaker 1: my god, I don't know how to tackle that.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Underwater swimming or something.
- 23:07Speaker 3: Oh my god, I'd love to do underwater swimming.
- 23:09Speaker 4: I'll have to get us more equipment for it, but
- 23:11Speaker 4: or a diving suit. But yeah, honestly, there is no limit.
- 23:16Speaker 4: I mean not for a challenge as well. So don't
- 23:18Speaker 4: feel like if there's any other if there's any athletes
- 23:22Speaker 4: or anyone in the sports world, that are wanting video
- 23:26Speaker 4: content and you know it maybe doesn't isn't suggested on
- 23:29Speaker 4: the website. Don't worry about that, Like, we can work
- 23:32Speaker 4: through it, and we can work together in order to
- 23:34Speaker 4: make something just for you and make it very personal.
- 23:38Speaker 4: So yeah, I just don't want people to be frightened.
- 23:40Speaker 4: That's not me, so it can be.
- 23:44Speaker 1: I did say it to be fair on your website
- 23:46Speaker 1: that you had a contact form, which is another.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Way of getting touched. Yeah.
- 23:48Speaker 3: Absolutely, yeah.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Okay, Well we're going to play a lost bit of
- 23:51Speaker 1: camera photographic song before we pack up. But thanks for
- 23:58Speaker 1: coming in, Cassie, and it's been a great morning, good
- 24:01Speaker 1: fun morning, and they look forward to seeing.
- 24:02Speaker 2: You next week.
- 24:03Speaker 3: Thank you so much, Kevin, it's been a pleasure.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Right But that was our last camera related song there,
- 24:31Speaker 1: but wishing I had a photograph.
- 24:33Speaker 2: For you from a flock of seagulls.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Okay, So we're not going to get all this sport
- 24:39Speaker 1: in but so we're going to crack on and do
- 24:41Speaker 1: what we can. Well, we're going to do a bit
- 24:43Speaker 1: of local football now now it sounds like folks. And
- 24:46Speaker 1: in Victor season hit an all time low when they
- 24:49Speaker 1: were lost three to away to ten man Cray Wanderers.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Gray had a man sent off in the.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Thirty ninth minute, but in Victor couldn't capitalize. So hear
- 24:57Speaker 1: the full story from our man at the match, Adie Dawk,
- 25:00Speaker 1: on Saturday Sports Show between ten and eleven am Tuesday evening.
- 25:04Speaker 1: The game at the Alkaline Stadium was called off pretty
- 25:07Speaker 1: early in the day actually by a local referee due
- 25:09Speaker 1: to waterlog pitch. But also we've got to bear in
- 25:12Speaker 1: mind that they looked at the forecast and it had
- 25:14Speaker 1: rain all day. So it was a wise move because
- 25:18Speaker 1: it just saves the other team from traveling, you know, there,
- 25:21Speaker 1: to come all the way from Chichester. The next game
- 25:24Speaker 1: is at home on Saturday against Potter's Bar, that's if
- 25:27Speaker 1: the pitch has.
- 25:27Speaker 2: Dried out in time.
- 25:29Speaker 1: High Toown's game at Richfield's was postponed, also to a
- 25:32Speaker 1: water log pitch. With this cancelation, it meant they've now
- 25:35Speaker 1: had five consecutive games played away, given the pitcher chance
- 25:40Speaker 1: to recover. Tuesday evening, also, after an early pitch inspection,
- 25:44Speaker 1: the away game at Littlehampton was declared on, so they
- 25:47Speaker 1: went down there, but I think I bet they wish
- 25:51Speaker 1: they hadn't because they got walloped five nil and they
- 25:54Speaker 1: slipped down to the bottom of the table. Now, the
- 25:57Speaker 1: postpone game last Saturday against Sittingbauld had been re schedule
- 26:00Speaker 1: for Tuesday, the eighteenth of March, and I just want
- 26:03Speaker 1: to wish Sitting all the best in their sold out
- 26:05Speaker 1: quarter final FA Trophy tire at the weekend against National
- 26:09Speaker 1: League opposition. All the shot well, they have nothing to
- 26:12Speaker 1: fear after beating South End away in the last round.
- 26:15Speaker 1: I Meanwhile, on this Saturday, Hive Town are away again.
- 26:18Speaker 1: This time they travel down to lancin who will walloped
- 26:21Speaker 1: to nine el buy Beckingham recently, so let's hope Ive
- 26:24Speaker 1: can come home with three points and start climbing away
- 26:27Speaker 1: from that relegation zone. Okay, switching now to the Kent
- 26:32Speaker 1: County Premier League, top of the table. New Romney didn't
- 26:35Speaker 1: have a game, but this weekend they welcome Guru Nanak
- 26:38Speaker 1: to selling their temporary home ground as their own ground.
- 26:41Speaker 1: Are they having a new clubhouse built down there, so
- 26:44Speaker 1: that's very it something to look forward to next season.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Hawkins Town's game.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Hawkins Town they're third in third place after beating the
- 26:52Speaker 1: Ramsgate Athletic one nil. Toby Greenfield scoring the solitary goal.
- 26:57Speaker 1: This week is their turn to go without a game. Now,
- 27:00Speaker 1: suspect this is because there's an odd number. They've got
- 27:02Speaker 1: seventeen teams in the league actually, so someone's going to
- 27:06Speaker 1: be missing a game every week. Their next game is
- 27:08Speaker 1: on the eighth of March away to twelfth place tentred
- 27:11Speaker 1: in Town and lastly focused. The new Victor women's team
- 27:14Speaker 1: beat LID two nil, the second half goals coming from
- 27:18Speaker 1: Chloe Lloyd and Hayley Turrell. Their next game is a
- 27:21Speaker 1: local fixture. It's a local dartby in fact Sunday the
- 27:25Speaker 1: ninth of March away at Hawkins. Right out of time
- 27:28Speaker 1: for a bit of music and this one is from
- 27:30Speaker 1: two thousand and five. Is the Coral and in the morning.
- 27:45Speaker 1: So on two thousand and five there the Coral in
- 27:48Speaker 1: the morning. Okay, time to some running news now. Last
- 27:52Speaker 1: weekend it was the iconic Parliament Hill and National Cross
- 27:56Speaker 1: Country Championships, with a total of five thousand athletes take
- 28:00Speaker 1: in part over ten races. Now, the race categories are
- 28:04Speaker 1: as follows. You've got under eighty sorry, under thirteen's, under fifteen,
- 28:08Speaker 1: seventeens and twenties, boys and girls.
- 28:11Speaker 2: That is eight races. Then you've got the.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Senior women's and the Senior men's championships. Now the distances
- 28:17Speaker 1: vary from three thousand meters for the under thirteens to
- 28:21Speaker 1: twelve thousand meters for the senior men. Now three men
- 28:25Speaker 1: from the Folks and Running and a Threatis Club took
- 28:27Speaker 1: part in the senior race. Former guests to the show,
- 28:29Speaker 1: and there's two of them, Tom Bean and Trevor Devo
- 28:32Speaker 1: took part and were joined by Christoph Clyttier. And there
- 28:36Speaker 1: was also one brave junior I found in the girls
- 28:38Speaker 1: under thirteenth race that was Poppy Duncan.
- 28:41Speaker 2: South Ken Harriers also had three runners. They had Nigel Hughes,
- 28:44Speaker 2: John Creen and Mike Hayley. And a special mention must
- 28:48Speaker 2: go to two other former guests to the show. They're
- 28:51Speaker 2: popping up everywhere, an't they.
- 28:53Speaker 1: That's Darren Scrivens and Amy Seeger who are now running
- 28:57Speaker 1: for in Victor east Ken. Now you have to image
- 29:01Speaker 1: East race took part, so the mud got thicker and heavier,
- 29:05Speaker 1: especially if you were in the last race of the day,
- 29:07Speaker 1: which was the senior men who actually did three laps. Now,
- 29:11Speaker 1: if you go to YouTube and just check out the
- 29:13Speaker 1: National Cross Championships Parliament Hill. You see exactly what I mean.
- 29:18Speaker 1: You know, it's just constant mud and which got thicker.
- 29:23Speaker 1: It's just some of it was up to their knees,
- 29:26Speaker 1: I think. But fair play to the organizers and the
- 29:29Speaker 1: Marshalls who were constantly changing the route to cater for
- 29:32Speaker 1: the different distances. Now, the National Cross Country Championships, they
- 29:37Speaker 1: date back over one hundred years when back in the
- 29:39Speaker 1: day it was known as a paper chase. Now the
- 29:42Speaker 1: one to tick off your hit list. If you want
- 29:45Speaker 1: to love your cross country running, this is the one
- 29:48Speaker 1: you must do.
- 29:49Speaker 2: It's at Parliament Hill.
- 29:50Speaker 1: And I have got some more running news, but we're
- 29:53Speaker 1: going to run out of time very shortly, so we're
- 29:55Speaker 1: going to plan song and I will be doing the
- 29:57Speaker 1: rest of the sport on Saturday.
- 30:05Speaker 3: These words are I love you. I love you.
- 30:11Speaker 1: That's from Natasha Beddingfield there from two thousand and four.
- 30:18Speaker 4: Is that?
- 30:19Speaker 3: Okay?
- 30:20Speaker 2: Okay?
- 30:21Speaker 1: But that's it for me for this week and now
- 30:22Speaker 1: I'm going to finish on a bit of a sad note.
- 30:24Speaker 1: And it's becoming a bit of a habit this last
- 30:26Speaker 1: few weeks. But songwriter, producer and keyboard player Chris Jasper
- 30:30Speaker 1: of the Isley Brothers has passed away at the age
- 30:33Speaker 1: of seventy three. Now, the Isley Brothers were a prominent
- 30:38Speaker 1: group right from the sixties and right up to the
- 30:41Speaker 1: latter days, and be remembered for such classic tracks as
- 30:44Speaker 1: Who's That Lady, This Old Heart of Mine, Behind a
- 30:47Speaker 1: Painted Smile, Summer Breeze, and many more. And so I'm
- 30:51Speaker 1: going to finish the show with one of my favorite
- 30:53Speaker 1: Ley Brothers songs. It has been recorded by other people,
- 30:56Speaker 1: which is a bit of a tribute. This is Harvest
- 30:58Speaker 1: for the World and who is it? H So you
- 31:00Speaker 1: on Saturday
- 31:15Speaker 4: M
