- 0:38Speaker 3: I do need to confess this and get it off
- 0:40Speaker 3: my chest, you know, even even if I never say
- 0:43Speaker 3: it to her. So, So, I've been working from home
- 0:47Speaker 3: for the last six or seven months, and you know,
- 0:49Speaker 3: I handle all the finances and my wife, you know,
- 0:52Speaker 3: doesn't really worry about money at all. You know, I work,
- 0:55Speaker 3: she's at home. She trusts me. You know, I love
- 0:58Speaker 3: her very much. She's a very good woman. She keeps
- 1:01Speaker 3: the house together, does a lot of the housework. You know,
- 1:04Speaker 3: it just makes things to really feel stable at home.
- 1:06Speaker 3: And I know that. But you know, with me home
- 1:11Speaker 3: a lot now these days, every day I feel it
- 1:14Speaker 3: feels like she's just you know, always there, you know,
- 1:18Speaker 3: like he's sitting on the couch watching TV. You know,
- 1:21Speaker 3: She's asked questions while I'm trying to focus on work
- 1:24Speaker 3: and everything. Right, just every day, you know, I'm just
- 1:28Speaker 3: working full time. I'm just mentally drained by the end
- 1:31Speaker 3: of the day. And you know, I told her, you know,
- 1:33Speaker 3: things were getting tight recently with money, and you know,
- 1:36Speaker 3: it would really help out financially. I think if she
- 1:40Speaker 3: got a job, okay, based just yeah, I don't think
- 1:44Speaker 3: she liked that. Her face just changed, you know, I
- 1:48Speaker 3: think it was shocked. But you know, almost immediately, you know,
- 1:52Speaker 3: she went into like a panic.
- 1:53Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Then she was updating her resume, searching listings and you know,
- 1:57Speaker 3: talking about like contributing more. You know. I mean, the
- 2:01Speaker 3: truth is, we don't need the money as far as
- 2:04Speaker 3: finances were actually fine, but I wanted with space. I
- 2:08Speaker 3: just needed peace and quiet at home.
- 2:12Speaker 2: You know what, your wife wait, wait, crowded.
- 2:17Speaker 3: I'm trying to focus, you know, and they get distracting
- 2:19Speaker 3: when she's there all the time, watching me and asking
- 2:22Speaker 3: me questions and I'm trying to work. I'm not.
- 2:25Speaker 4: I feel so bad for your wife. Yeah, because you
- 2:28Speaker 4: I mean that financial stress is real. Yeah, so you
- 2:32Speaker 4: told her that you're financially struggling. It would help if
- 2:35Speaker 4: she got a job. But the fact of the matter is,
- 2:38Speaker 4: let's just cut to it. You want her out of
- 2:39Speaker 4: the house.
- 2:41Speaker 3: Well, I told her things were getting a little tight financially.
- 2:44Speaker 3: I mean, I didn't say I was struggling, but yeah, yeah,
- 2:47Speaker 3: much what you said.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what, player and jumping right onto whatever LinkedIn.
- 2:54Speaker 4: She's like, let me get my resume to give a bit,
- 2:57Speaker 4: you know what, I'll bring something to the table when
- 2:59Speaker 4: you're just take a hear in her.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Yeah you space, you.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Know, somewhere where she can go, you know, something to
- 3:05Speaker 3: do something that wasn't just me all day and just focusing.
- 3:09Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, it's hard for me to like pick
- 3:12Speaker 3: stuff done at home and she's just watching me all day.
- 3:14Speaker 5: Can you like go to a co working space or
- 3:18Speaker 5: okness's time you to leave your own house. Oh yeah,
- 3:20Speaker 5: there's like you could just be at like a coffee
- 3:23Speaker 5: shop or one of those co working spaces where people.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Just go and work. Got to leave.
- 3:27Speaker 5: Well, I mean, why does she have to get a job.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Well, she doesn't.
- 3:31Speaker 3: It's more comfortable for me to work from home. And
- 3:34Speaker 3: plus I am making all the money. Oh, I mean,
- 3:37Speaker 3: why would I have to like now find somewhere to go.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Oh I mean take that canvas?
- 3:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean the winner, Well, good for him, that's great, No,
- 3:47Speaker 1: it is. That's awesome that your wife has the flexibility
- 3:50Speaker 1: that she has because you're doing so well. But like
- 3:53Speaker 1: for her to have to go get a job that
- 3:56Speaker 1: she doesn't want?
- 3:57Speaker 4: So are you gonna let her get a so she
- 3:59Speaker 4: finds a full time job, you're gonna be like, oh great,
- 4:01Speaker 4: all right, when do you start?
- 4:02Speaker 2: Or are you looking for like more part time something?
- 4:05Speaker 3: Or I just think as long as she has somewhere
- 4:08Speaker 3: to go, something to.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Talk to her about it and be like, I love
- 4:14Speaker 1: distracts me.
- 4:15Speaker 4: Yeah, but you don't know, I mean, yeah, I I
- 4:17Speaker 4: it might be good for her, But the fact matter
- 4:20Speaker 4: is it's you're motivated by your own self. You know need,
- 4:23Speaker 4: So you can't really say what you think is good
- 4:24Speaker 4: for her if she hasn't told you that.
- 4:26Speaker 2: That's my thing.
- 4:27Speaker 3: I know it's I didn't ask her for what I needed.
- 4:30Speaker 3: You know, I kind of manipulated this situation a bit. Yeah,
- 4:33Speaker 3: she just you know, thinks she's helping She thinks she's
- 4:36Speaker 3: helping us her by, so she feels like a team player,
- 4:39Speaker 3: and I just wanted her out of the house again.
- 4:43Speaker 2: It's just again, he wants out of the house. He's
- 4:45Speaker 2: made that clear about five times.
- 4:47Speaker 1: You have her joined some gym or like the army.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Real I'll tell her to go join a gym, gym. Oh,
- 4:56Speaker 2: so you think I'm fat?
- 4:57Speaker 4: Now?
- 4:58Speaker 1: I do hobbies like go play pickaball, or like take
- 5:01Speaker 1: a dance class or art.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Class, a large march.
- 5:05Speaker 1: There's like other activities okay, yeah, like join a tennis club.
- 5:11Speaker 4: Too late now is it now? But that's the problem.
- 5:13Speaker 4: Now you can't go back and be like, hey, I
- 5:15Speaker 4: was just kidding. We're not financially struggling. I'm just kind
- 5:17Speaker 4: of over you. God, can you get out of the
- 5:19Speaker 4: house for a couple of days, maybe just one hour
- 5:22Speaker 4: a day, give me, you know, give me some piece
- 5:24Speaker 4: of quiet that'll go over real. Well, well, we're not
- 5:27Speaker 4: here to judge, but please let us know what happens.
- 5:29Speaker 4: I would find a way to kind of relieve some
- 5:32Speaker 4: of the stress and anxiety from her, though, because now
- 5:34Speaker 4: she's in panic mode.
- 5:35Speaker 2: I don't like that.
- 5:36Speaker 1: But maybe you're miscalculated.
- 5:39Speaker 2: It's part time. Honesty is the best policy. Yes, always, it's.
- 5:42Speaker 4: A tough conversation. But if you word at writing, you say, listen,
- 5:45Speaker 4: I know we're around each other a lot. Maybe there's
- 5:46Speaker 4: a way a couple of days of the week I
- 5:48Speaker 4: go to a co working space and.
- 5:50Speaker 2: You go to yoga, right exactly, something like that. It's
- 5:53Speaker 2: all about compromise in a relationship. Take this from the
- 5:56Speaker 2: single guy. She ain't gonna be trying to hear that.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Well, sir, let us know what happens. Okay, just to
- 6:03Speaker 4: clear it up, do you want her out of the house.
