- 0:03Speaker 1: time and tap the breset button.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Now.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simone Show on WOR. Hey,
- 0:11Speaker 1: let's take some calls. Let's go to Pam in New Jersey. Pam,
- 0:14Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 0:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I've got a funny story about Trump thing sitting
- 0:20Speaker 3: room in a grocery store. Hey, the garbage bags and
- 0:22Speaker 3: a woman strikes up.
- 0:23Speaker 1: You better calls back here. It's not you. Your line
- 0:26Speaker 1: is all screwed up. There not your fault. Let's go
- 0:28Speaker 1: to Nolan in New Jersey. Nolan, how you're doing?
- 0:32Speaker 2: Hey, good morning Mark. I googled the vote totals in
- 0:34Speaker 2: New Jersey. It seems that Mikey Sheryl got one point
- 0:37Speaker 2: eight million votes. That's five hundred thousand more votes than
- 0:41Speaker 2: Phil Murphy got in twenty one ye that was the
- 0:43Speaker 2: highest vote total ever at the time for a governor's race.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Does this seem plausible to you?
- 0:48Speaker 1: Yeah? Absolutely? You know a Democrat should hire Jack Chitdarelli
- 0:51Speaker 1: just to run against them all the time. He's so
- 0:53Speaker 1: easy to beat. And there's something wrong with Chitdarelli. I'm
- 0:59Speaker 1: sure he's a nice guy.
- 1:00Speaker 4: I just.
- 1:02Speaker 1: I don't know what it is, something about the way
- 1:03Speaker 1: he looks. He just looks like and he's got that
- 1:07Speaker 1: shifty kind of salesman looked too. I don't know, just
- 1:10Speaker 1: but again, he's the best thing that ever happened to Democrats.
- 1:12Speaker 1: It just beat him every time. Let's go to Steve
- 1:15Speaker 1: in Manhattan and Steve, how you doing?
- 1:17Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:18Speaker 4: Mark, and it's time we get rid of the nineteenth.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Oh it's a Buchanan guy. Let's go to uh Rich
- 1:23Speaker 1: in Myrtle Beach. Rich, how you doing? Wait a minute,
- 1:27Speaker 1: hang on, Rich, there you are.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Go ahead, yeah, go ahead, that Buchanan guy. He's pretty funny.
- 1:33Speaker 3: You know, you talked about the gas price, the two
- 1:35Speaker 3: quick points. You know, it's always bounced between two sixty
- 1:38Speaker 3: nine and two eighty nine. Here in Myrtle Beach, it
- 1:40Speaker 3: was two forty five yesterday and the very next day
- 1:43Speaker 3: this morning, it's right back up to two eighty nine.
- 1:45Speaker 3: He sings bounce up twenty to forty to sometimes fifty
- 1:49Speaker 3: cents in a matter of twenty four hours. And then
- 1:52Speaker 3: remember during the State of Union when it was Obama
- 1:54Speaker 3: was talking about Obamacare, and the guy from South Carolina
- 1:57Speaker 3: called out and said, you're a liar. The guy was
- 1:59Speaker 3: a one thousand percent right. We knew Obama was lying
- 2:02Speaker 3: by a time. It was a fifteen hundred and fifteen
- 2:05Speaker 3: thousand page document. Nobody, they'd all those Democrats passed word
- 2:09Speaker 3: out of her, reading a single word of it. And
- 2:11Speaker 3: I was living in New York at the time, you know.
- 2:13Speaker 3: I called up Schumer's office said did he read this?
- 2:15Speaker 3: And of course they're telling me, yes, he read every
- 2:17Speaker 3: single word. Nobody read that, and everything we said was true.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Like being called a conspiracy theorist, We're right again, you know.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I've asked all these congressmen, especially the x ones,
- 2:28Speaker 1: off the record, did you ever actually read the bill?
- 2:31Speaker 1: You know, these bills are like three thousand pages. Nobody's
- 2:33Speaker 1: going to read them. So apparently when it's time to vote,
- 2:39Speaker 1: they all look to somebody that's different in each case,
- 2:42Speaker 1: but whoever that's somebody is they look over and he
- 2:44Speaker 1: either gives them a thumbs up or a thumbs down,
- 2:46Speaker 1: like vote for this bill. Ed Koch used to tell
- 2:50Speaker 1: the story about there there was one guy he trusted,
- 2:52Speaker 1: senior guy. You look over and the guy gave him
- 2:54Speaker 1: a thumbs up, and Kotch voted yes on it. Turned
- 2:58Speaker 1: out to be the worst thing in the world. And
- 3:01Speaker 1: he later said to that, why did you tell me
- 3:03Speaker 1: to vote for these? Says ed, you can always trust me,
- 3:07Speaker 1: but not on oil. It was some kind of oil
- 3:09Speaker 1: build that was going to help this constituent. Let's go
- 3:12Speaker 1: to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 3:15Speaker 4: Good morning, Mark, Good morning Marra. And I'd like to
- 3:17Speaker 4: give say thanks to all our veterans past and present
- 3:21Speaker 4: who laid down their lives for our great country. Mark.
- 3:26Speaker 4: I really hope Jessica Tish just stays until the end
- 3:31Speaker 4: of the year and does not become part of the
- 3:35Speaker 4: Mondamie administration. And this is why I say that. I
- 3:39Speaker 4: think she's absolutely great and I think she would make
- 3:42Speaker 4: a great mayor in the future. And I say this
- 3:46Speaker 4: because Mondami is an anti semi to the core. I
- 3:52Speaker 4: never believe these people when after they say something disgusting
- 3:57Speaker 4: or something controversial, two days later they try and walk
- 4:01Speaker 4: it back. That is a bunch of bs. As far
- 4:04Speaker 4: as I'm concerned, what you originally said is what you
- 4:08Speaker 4: originally meant, and I've believed that all these years, and
- 4:12Speaker 4: my instincts are right. Let me tell you a little
- 4:15Speaker 4: brief story before I went to Italy recently. My girlfriend
- 4:21Speaker 4: orders all gets all my tickets, and I don't do
- 4:24Speaker 4: any of that stuff. All right, I could have flown
- 4:27Speaker 4: to Italy on Arab Emirates, paid three hundred dollars less,
- 4:33Speaker 4: probably got a better seat and a better meal, and
- 4:36Speaker 4: I absolutely refused to do it because I don't believe
- 4:41Speaker 4: in the values of any of those Arabic countries, because
- 4:46Speaker 4: the way they treat women, the way they treat gays.
- 4:50Speaker 4: And also you try and find a synagogue or a
- 4:54Speaker 4: Catholic church in any of those countries and you would
- 4:59Speaker 4: be at a loss. Mandami is a snake oil salesman
- 5:04Speaker 4: and he is an anti Semite. And please, Jessica, don't
- 5:09Speaker 4: do it for the sake of your people. Follow Richard
- 5:12Speaker 4: Tucker's leave. Don't leave now. Do not become part of
- 5:17Speaker 4: that toxic administration.
- 5:20Speaker 1: You mean Robert Tucker.
- 5:21Speaker 4: Robert Tucker, excuse me, mother, he's.
- 5:23Speaker 1: A fire commissioner.
- 5:24Speaker 4: He quit, he just stepped exactly.
- 5:26Speaker 1: But you know he's his father was the great opera
- 5:29Speaker 1: singer Richard.
- 5:30Speaker 4: Tucker Wonder, a phenomenal singer, a phenomenal singer. So why
- 5:36Speaker 4: why would you want to sully up your family's name
- 5:40Speaker 4: being associated with a biggot, a racist Mandami's mother.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Well, what about the Curtis theory, don't run, stay and fight,
- 5:49Speaker 1: improve don't move. What about Curtis's theory.
- 5:52Speaker 4: Well, Curtis's all right. He wants to stay, he wants
- 5:55Speaker 4: to fight, he wants to Okay, fine, you know, in
- 5:59Speaker 4: his own small way, he could do that. And I
- 6:03Speaker 4: think Jessica Tish, she could be mayor and even go
- 6:08Speaker 4: much higher because she has the right stuff. You don't
- 6:12Speaker 4: need the money there. I didn't need the three hundred dollars.
- 6:17Speaker 4: I would have save.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Good point, Vincent, excellent call, thanks for calling. Hey, when
- 6:21Speaker 1: we come back, Howie Carr will be with us. We'll
- 6:24Speaker 1: get some advice from him, what to do about mom,
- 6:26Speaker 1: Donnie and more coming up on seven to ten. Wor
