SPEAKER_04: Hello, everybody, and welcome back to another episode of the Tortured Fans Department podcast.
• 0:26
SPEAKER_04: I'm your host, Sean Boyle.
• 0:28
SPEAKER_04: As you can tell from the episode title, it's another draft.
• 0:32
SPEAKER_04: The draft is on our hands.
• 0:33
SPEAKER_04: We're running it back from the U.S.
• 0:35
SPEAKER_04: Cities draft with much of the same crew.
• 0:38
SPEAKER_04: I'll start by introducing the fellas.
• 0:41
SPEAKER_04: First up, we'll go in order of finish based on the last time.
• 0:44
SPEAKER_04: So I've already introduced myself, of course.
• 0:47
SPEAKER_04: Next and runner up in the U.S.
• 0:49
  SPEAKER_04: City's draft is Mr.
• 0:50
  SPEAKER_04: Shane Douglas.
• 0:50
  SPEAKER_04: Shane, how are you?
• 0:51
  SPEAKER_03: Sean, I'm doing well.
• 0:52
SPEAKER_03: I was a little bit tired before hopping on here, but seeing your three faces is like a shot of life.
• 0:57
  SPEAKER_03: So I am back.
• 0:59
  SPEAKER_04: Love to hear that.
• 1:01
SPEAKER_04: Next, coming in third place in the U.S.
• 1:03
SPEAKER_04: City's draft, he tried to stuff the ballot with the Puerto Rican vote.
• 1:06
  SPEAKER_04: It didn't work.
• 1:07
  SPEAKER_04: It is Mr.
• 1:08
  SPEAKER_04: Ryan Amday.
• 1:10
  SPEAKER_04: Ryan, how are you?
• 1:11
  SPEAKER_02: I'm doing great.
• 1:12
SPEAKER_02: Puerto Rico is still a part of America.
• 1:15
SPEAKER_02: And um, yeah, I'm excited to get into some uh more niche cities tonight.
• 1:18
SPEAKER_02: So you see who the real men of culture are.
• 1:21
SPEAKER_04: And a man who was left off of the poll and has not gotten over it since.
• 1:27
SPEAKER_04: This guy, Jeremy, I'd like to extend an olive branch and I'd like to compliment you and say you did a better job drafting than Michael Collins.
• 1:34
SPEAKER_04: You got more votes than he did, and he was on the poll.
• 1:37
  SPEAKER_04: So that says something.
• 1:39
SPEAKER_04: Jeremy, welcome to the show.
• 1:40
SPEAKER_04: Glad to have you back.
• 1:41
  SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
• 1:42
  SPEAKER_00: Glad to be back.
• 1:43
SPEAKER_00: I just wanted to give a shout out and a thanks to Jake, Joe, and Jeff from the TV Comedies draft for their support.
• 1:49
SPEAKER_00: Uh, I do it for them, I do it for the people, so that was awesome.
• 1:54
SPEAKER_04: They did have your back in that.
• 1:56
SPEAKER_04: I'm very glad you brought up that draft as well, though, Jeremy, because I won that one as well.
• 2:00
  SPEAKER_04: So it's it's becoming a bit of a dynasty.
• 2:03
SPEAKER_04: We we've had four of these.
• 2:05
SPEAKER_04: There's been a unanimous winner in each.
• 2:07
  SPEAKER_04: And that is me.
• 2:08
SPEAKER_04: I'm not going to take a victory lap.
• 2:10
  SPEAKER_04: That's beneath me.
• 2:10
SPEAKER_04: I'm focused on the next one.
• 2:12
SPEAKER_04: What's the most important game?
• 2:13
  SPEAKER_04: The next game.
• 2:14
SPEAKER_04: I'm worried about this draft tonight, and that is the underrated U.S.
• 2:18
  SPEAKER_04: Cities draft.
• 2:19
  SPEAKER_04: It's a slight twist.
• 2:21
SPEAKER_04: It's the sequel, if you will, to the original one that we did.
• 2:24
SPEAKER_04: In that one, we drafted cities with over 300,000 people.
• 2:27
SPEAKER_04: This one, we are drafting cities with under that.
• 2:30
SPEAKER_04: Underrated might not be the best word for some of these.
• 2:32
SPEAKER_04: Some of these might be pretty well known, but it's just trying to frame it in a different context.
• 2:36
SPEAKER_04: These are a bit more hidden gems or off the beaten path than some metropolis cities in the United States.
• 2:42
SPEAKER_04: So is everybody on the same page with the framework for this one?
• 2:45
  SPEAKER_02: I think so.
• 2:46
SPEAKER_02: I think my only question would be is does it the the city does it have to be called a city, right?
• 2:52
SPEAKER_02: Like there's no you can't draft a quote unquote town if that's how it's categorized in the city.
• 2:58
SPEAKER_04: Oh, oh, I was under the impression everything is fair game under 300,000 people.
• 3:03
  SPEAKER_03: Oh, I wish on.
• 3:06
SPEAKER_03: Also, Jeremy, how do you know the difference between a town and a city?
• 3:08
  SPEAKER_04: I think yes, exactly.
• 3:09
SPEAKER_04: I think we're opening up a can of worms if we're trying to distinguish who calls what a city versus a town.
• 3:14
SPEAKER_04: I think at one point in Pennsylvania there was only actually four cities in the state of Pennsylvania before some rebranding, if you will.
• 3:21
SPEAKER_04: So I think a lot of places were called towns.
• 3:23
SPEAKER_04: I I think we should just open it up.
• 3:26
SPEAKER_04: Any place in the United States with under 300,000 people is draft eligible.
• 3:32
SPEAKER_00: Okay, that changes the thing for me.
• 3:34
  SPEAKER_00: Hold on.
• 3:35
SPEAKER_00: Let me let me rearrange my board.
• 3:36
  SPEAKER_03: What did you prepare?
• 3:38
SPEAKER_00: Well, I took I took it off my board, but all right, we're back.
• 3:42
SPEAKER_04: All right, a quick adjustment on the fly from Jeremy.
• 3:44
  SPEAKER_04: We love that.
• 3:45
SPEAKER_04: Hey, the war room's constantly changing for GMs, Jair.
• 3:48
  SPEAKER_04: I appreciate your flexibility.
• 3:50
SPEAKER_04: The other thing I wanted to say, the context for this draft, as was the case in the U.S.
• 3:55
SPEAKER_04: City's draft, is we are drafting six places each, and these are the only places that we'll be able to live throughout the course of the year.
• 4:04
SPEAKER_04: So you kind of want to, in my opinion, structure your board accordingly.
• 4:08
SPEAKER_04: You don't want to bunch up on places in one part of the country.
• 4:11
SPEAKER_04: You kind of want some diversity, some different climates.
• 4:14
SPEAKER_04: So keep that in mind when you're listening, keep that in mind when you're voting.
• 4:18
SPEAKER_04: It's the totality of the group, not just the highlights from the draft.
• 4:22
SPEAKER_04: So any questions before we get into it.
• 4:26
SPEAKER_03: What is the draft order here?
• 4:28
SPEAKER_04: Draft order, great question, Shane.
• 4:30
SPEAKER_04: It is Ryan leading off, myself picking second, Shane picking third, and Jeremy picking fourth.
• 4:38
SPEAKER_04: He's complaining about that as I knew he would.
• 4:42
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, if I recall correctly, Jeremy complained about 84 times in the last draft that he had the first pick, and that pick is a zillion times easier than the first pick in this draft.
• 4:54
SPEAKER_02: I'll put it that way.
• 4:55
SPEAKER_02: There are only, I don't know, a hundred thousand options to pick from.
• 5:00
SPEAKER_04: So I will say, Ryan, before you go, I'm glad I don't have the first one here.
• 5:04
  SPEAKER_04: It's a bit like flying blind.
• 5:06
SPEAKER_04: There's a chance you go completely crazy.
• 5:09
SPEAKER_04: But I would also like to advise the listeners, this is going to be a pretty niche draft.
• 5:14
SPEAKER_04: So some of us might have totally different boards than one another.
• 5:18
SPEAKER_04: We're trying to keep it to places we've been.
• 5:20
SPEAKER_04: You don't necessarily have to follow that rule, but I'm going to, I know cities I draft will be places that I've been to, but it does create a bit of a situation where you could go the whole draft without having many of your cities taken because everybody has different types of boards.
• 5:35
SPEAKER_04: So I think that's important to remember.
• 5:37
SPEAKER_04: I think we've provided all the context that we can.
• 5:40
  SPEAKER_04: Ryan, kick it off.
• 5:42
  SPEAKER_04: Okay.
• 5:42
SPEAKER_02: So for my first pick, um, I'm going to take somewhere authentic to me, uh, somewhere that I visited two years ago for a wedding and kind of fell in love with.
• 5:54
SPEAKER_02: I'd been there once or twice before that, but fell in love with over the wedding weekend that I was there for one of my best friends.
• 5:59
SPEAKER_02: Um, and it's gonna be my home base city, kind of it's gonna function as that in this draft, and that's gonna be Richmond, Virginia.
• 6:06
SPEAKER_02: I really, really like Richmond, Virginia.
• 6:08
SPEAKER_02: I think it it kind of checks every box you're looking for in a small city.
• 6:13
SPEAKER_02: Uh, you got the water, you got a great art scene, great music scene, great brewery scene, uh, great food scene.
• 6:21
  SPEAKER_02: It's it's walkable.
• 6:22
SPEAKER_02: The public transit is pretty good.
• 6:24
SPEAKER_02: To me, it really has checked every box I was looking for in a city, some great educational institutions in VCU and Richmond as well.
• 6:32
SPEAKER_02: So to me, that felt like an authentic first pick.
• 6:35
SPEAKER_02: I don't know where it was on everyone else's board, but that's gonna be my number.
• 6:40
SPEAKER_03: So that fits uh with Ryan.
• 6:43
  SPEAKER_02: That's crazy.
• 6:44
  SPEAKER_02: That's a that was a please don't clip that part.
• 6:48
  SPEAKER_04: Uh is crazy.
• 6:50
SPEAKER_04: I'm not sure which is the spoken one, libel or slander, but that was one of the two.
• 6:53
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 6:54
SPEAKER_02: A great redemption story because Richmond is a very uh diverse city now, which I love.
• 6:58
SPEAKER_02: A lot of different cultures are represented in Richmond.
• 7:00
SPEAKER_02: So, yep, that's gonna be my number one pick.
• 7:04
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, good stuff.
• 7:05
SPEAKER_04: Uh, I've been to Richmond very briefly.
• 7:07
SPEAKER_04: I didn't have it on my board, but that's not a knock on it.
• 7:09
SPEAKER_04: It's just didn't spend enough time there to crack my list.
• 7:12
SPEAKER_04: But like I just mentioned, we're gonna see a lot of individuality in these picks, so no wrong answers, I would go as far to say.
• 7:19
SPEAKER_04: We'll see what cousin Jeremy's up to.
• 7:21
SPEAKER_04: He might have a wrong answer or two.
• 7:22
SPEAKER_04: But for the most part, I I don't think anybody's gonna take anything outlandish here.
• 7:28
SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna go with one of my favorite cities I've been to.
• 7:34
SPEAKER_04: And when we talk about structuring the board and having each climate kind of covered, I wanted to make sure I got at least one warm weather city on my board, and that is Charleston, South Carolina.
• 7:46
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, based on Shane's reaction, I think he had that one on his board, so I'm happy at least somebody was with me.
• 7:51
  SPEAKER_04: Jeremy too, good.
• 7:52
  SPEAKER_04: We love that.
• 7:52
SPEAKER_04: That was my that was my one-one, actually.
• 7:55
  SPEAKER_04: Jeremy C.
• 7:56
SPEAKER_04: That's why you're on the program, you know?
• 7:58
  SPEAKER_04: That's it's good stuff.
• 8:00
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, Charleston's just great.
• 8:02
SPEAKER_04: There's basically nothing wrong with it.
• 8:04
SPEAKER_04: It's beautiful, it has a bit of history, Fort Sumter is awesome, the restaurant scene is very strong, the culture is great, it's very laid back, has a little bit of a college town feel too.
• 8:17
SPEAKER_04: I get the Charleston Classic each year to kick off the basketball hoop season with some big programs going down there.
• 8:23
SPEAKER_04: I mean, really nothing bad to say about my time in Charleston.
• 8:26
SPEAKER_04: I've been twice, I loved it both times.
• 8:28
SPEAKER_04: Good weather pretty much year-round.
• 8:29
SPEAKER_04: I'm happy Charleston came to me at two.
• 8:31
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, very uh Confederacy theme first two picks here.
• 8:35
SPEAKER_04: Uh, if you're gonna do this, we you we have to find a different channel.
• 8:41
SPEAKER_03: But no, I uh I love Charleston.
• 8:43
SPEAKER_03: It was I was between two, and Charleston was one of the two.
• 8:47
SPEAKER_03: Um, so you make my next choice for me, but very good pick.
• 8:50
SPEAKER_03: I thought Charleston was incredible.
• 8:53
  SPEAKER_04: Thank you.
• 8:53
SPEAKER_04: And Shane, careful out with your words because I could easily clip you saying you just said I love Charleston, I could easily say clip you saying I love Confederacy.
• 9:01
SPEAKER_04: So just be careful, just be careful.
• 9:03
SPEAKER_04: You don't want that on your resume.
• 9:05
SPEAKER_04: So Jeremy, you agree with the Charleston pick?
• 9:09
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Charleston's great.
• 9:10
  SPEAKER_00: It was my one-one.
• 9:11
SPEAKER_00: It has everything, like you said, the beaches, of course.
• 9:14
SPEAKER_00: You also have um close things around the area too.
• 9:18
SPEAKER_00: Folly beach, uh 15-minute drive, which is a little which is close, which is awesome, and we're a really like a real beach town.
• 9:26
  SPEAKER_00: Um, Charleston's great.
• 9:27
SPEAKER_00: I I loved uh I guess my long weekend there a few years, three or four years ago.
• 9:32
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it was awesome.
• 9:34
SPEAKER_00: Great golf in the area too.
• 9:35
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 9:36
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 9:36
SPEAKER_02: Never been, but I'm now I'm now about five hours away, so I will be visiting in the in the gotta go.
• 9:41
SPEAKER_02: Also, question uh how many picks are we doing?
• 9:43
  SPEAKER_03: We didn't say that.
• 9:44
  SPEAKER_02: Six.
• 9:45
  SPEAKER_02: Six picks.
• 9:45
  SPEAKER_02: Six, got it.
• 9:46
  SPEAKER_02: Okay.
• 9:46
SPEAKER_03: All right, so I'm gonna go to the other option that I had on top of my board.
• 9:51
SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna go out west to a place uh uh where I visited Mark Monero very recently, and that is Scottsdale, Arizona.
• 9:58
SPEAKER_03: Uh it's gonna be operating as my home base during the the colder months.
• 10:04
SPEAKER_03: Um yeah, a little bit of everything out there.
• 10:06
SPEAKER_03: Beautiful weather, great golf, uh, nice downtown area.
• 10:10
SPEAKER_03: So I'm gonna go with Scottsdale, Arizona.
• 10:13
  SPEAKER_04: Shane, good stuff.
• 10:15
SPEAKER_04: You took Phoenix in the U.S.
• 10:16
SPEAKER_04: Cities draft, and I didn't love that pick because the reason I didn't love it was I thought Scottsdale was just better.
• 10:21
SPEAKER_04: And now that you got that here, I think that's that's a good way to build your team around a strong, great weather city like Scottsdale.
• 10:29
SPEAKER_03: Well, I get one week in uh get both here.
• 10:33
SPEAKER_03: Alright, good feedback, Joe and Ryan.
• 10:36
  SPEAKER_00: Good pick.
• 10:36
  SPEAKER_00: I like Scottsdale.
• 10:38
SPEAKER_00: I don't know, like again, like I think Charleston is the safest pick, and then everything else is like kind of like niche, and it's fine, but like uh yeah, it's a good pick.
• 10:47
  SPEAKER_02: I haven't been, so I can't speak to it.
• 10:49
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly.
• 10:50
  SPEAKER_00: Alright, my first pick.
• 10:52
SPEAKER_00: Last pick of the first round.
• 10:54
  SPEAKER_00: Interesting.
• 10:55
SPEAKER_00: So the new rule changes everything for me.
• 10:57
SPEAKER_00: I had to take it off because it wasn't a city.
• 11:00
SPEAKER_00: This is gonna be my first pick, though.
• 11:02
SPEAKER_00: I will take La Jolla in California.
• 11:09
  SPEAKER_00: I love the city.
• 11:11
SPEAKER_00: Um, it's in San Diego, it's a part of San Diego, the city, but um, it's such a town.
• 11:17
SPEAKER_03: Um what what do you mean it's part of San Diego?
• 11:20
SPEAKER_00: It has to be an independent place.
• 11:23
SPEAKER_00: Well, it is just literally a it's it is this is this is what I'm saying.
• 11:28
SPEAKER_00: You google it, it literally is a community area in San Diego.
• 11:33
  SPEAKER_03: No, it's not veto.
• 11:34
  SPEAKER_04: It's not veto veto.
• 11:36
SPEAKER_03: All right, mine says neighborhood in San Diego.
• 11:40
  SPEAKER_04: Right, crazy.
• 11:41
  SPEAKER_04: It takes yeah, Joe.
• 11:42
  SPEAKER_04: We're not drafting neighborhoods.
• 11:43
  SPEAKER_04: I can't take Fishtown in Philadelphia.
• 11:45
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, no, no, no, no, no.
• 11:46
SPEAKER_04: Well, it's not like all right, fine, fine, fine.
• 11:48
SPEAKER_00: That's exactly what it is.
• 11:50
  SPEAKER_00: No, it's not, it's different.
• 11:51
  SPEAKER_00: Oh, it is.
• 11:51
SPEAKER_04: I've been in San Diego, and Wojla was very much in San Diego under my assumption.
• 11:55
SPEAKER_04: I thought maybe you knew better than I, but you don't.
• 11:57
  SPEAKER_04: It's a little different, but it's fine, it's fine.
• 11:59
  SPEAKER_00: Next, next.
• 12:00
SPEAKER_04: Um, was that a second veto?
• 12:01
SPEAKER_04: Okay, I just get one on the record.
• 12:03
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, for sure.
• 12:04
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
• 12:04
SPEAKER_04: Well, I'm very happy with uh I'm very happy.
• 12:08
SPEAKER_04: And here comes Jared's narratives now.
• 12:09
SPEAKER_00: Jared's gonna spin this now into Sean Stalling.
• 12:13
SPEAKER_00: This was honestly my one-one because I didn't even have La Jolla, but then with your rules and stuff, um, I'll take Carlsbad.
• 12:19
SPEAKER_00: I love the city in between LA and San Diego.
• 12:22
SPEAKER_00: Um beaches are awesome, weather's amazing, really cool town, uh, good golf, bluest waters I've ever seen, besides Luquillo Beach in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
• 12:34
  SPEAKER_00: Um, I love Carlsbad.
• 12:36
SPEAKER_00: It was such a fun place uh to be an amazing place to live, I would imagine.
• 12:40
  SPEAKER_02: Mr.
• 12:40
SPEAKER_02: West Coast, Jerry, you're like, did you live in California in our life?
• 12:44
SPEAKER_00: I feel like all you do in these drafts is take California.
• 12:46
SPEAKER_00: They have quite a few uh good places to live.
• 12:49
SPEAKER_00: Most of the country kind of lives out there.
• 12:52
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, not bad.
• 12:54
SPEAKER_04: Ever since that gold rush, seems like a lot of people moved out there.
• 12:56
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, something something pretty good must be going on.
• 13:00
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, Jerry, good stuff.
• 13:01
SPEAKER_04: Uh, Carlsbad, by all accounts, is a pretty spectacular place.
• 13:05
  SPEAKER_04: And I think a great pick.
• 13:07
SPEAKER_04: I would like to commend you for it.
• 13:09
SPEAKER_04: I just can't get over the fact that you tried being so disingenuous with La Jolla when you had Carlsbad in your back pocket.
• 13:14
SPEAKER_00: Well, again, the rules, I didn't really have it, but then I thought, but all right, that's fine.
• 13:19
SPEAKER_02: I actually don't think he was being disingenuous.
• 13:21
SPEAKER_02: I he he really didn't think that that was a problem.
• 13:23
SPEAKER_00: Like San Diego was a first rounder in the U.S.
• 13:25
SPEAKER_00: Cities draft and he tried to take it like it's different.
• 13:29
SPEAKER_00: We will we'll the semantics we I can tell you later.
• 13:32
  SPEAKER_00: It's okay.
• 13:32
SPEAKER_00: I'll wrap around, I'm gonna take the West Village.
• 13:37
SPEAKER_00: That might be over 300,000, though.
• 13:39
  SPEAKER_04: It might, it might.
• 13:40
  SPEAKER_00: It might.
• 13:41
SPEAKER_04: But that's why we can't do this.
• 13:42
SPEAKER_04: We're not drawing neighborhood lines, Jar.
• 13:43
SPEAKER_04: We we don't want to have a proper sense of it.
• 13:45
  SPEAKER_00: Whatever.
• 13:46
  SPEAKER_00: Fair enough.
• 13:48
SPEAKER_00: Uh on the swing around, I will take.
• 13:53
  SPEAKER_00: Ooh, I wanna.
• 13:54
SPEAKER_00: This is tough being the snake, of course.
• 13:58
SPEAKER_00: I'll take I'll go on the other side of the country.
• 14:01
SPEAKER_00: I'll go West Palm Beach.
• 14:03
SPEAKER_00: Great beaches again, really cool town.
• 14:06
SPEAKER_00: Um, great place to live, great weather, cool community, good golf, close to Jupiter too, by the professionals.
• 14:13
SPEAKER_00: Um, so I'll take West Palm here.
• 14:18
  SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
• 14:19
  SPEAKER_04: That is on me.
• 14:19
  SPEAKER_00: That is on me.
• 14:20
SPEAKER_00: It went with my answer, but like I get it.
• 14:22
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 14:22
  SPEAKER_04: So yeah.
• 14:23
  SPEAKER_04: And another good one.
• 14:24
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
• 14:25
  SPEAKER_04: You're you're loving the weather, Jarr.
• 14:27
SPEAKER_04: You're off to a phenomenal weather start between your two.
• 14:30
  SPEAKER_04: Thank you.
• 14:30
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 14:30
SPEAKER_03: West Palm Beach is the most drunk I've ever seen you.
• 14:35
SPEAKER_04: Jarrell adds loose in West Palm based on my little experience with them.
• 14:38
  SPEAKER_00: No comment.
• 14:39
SPEAKER_00: Uh, if the if we clip that out, I wouldn't be upset with that, but yeah.
• 14:44
  SPEAKER_00: Allegedly.
• 14:45
  SPEAKER_00: Allegedly.
• 14:45
  SPEAKER_00: The most allegedly, yeah.
• 14:47
  SPEAKER_04: Allegedly.
• 14:49
  SPEAKER_04: Good stuff.
• 14:50
  SPEAKER_04: Shane's back to you.
• 14:52
  SPEAKER_03: Oh boy.
• 14:53
  SPEAKER_04: All right.
• 14:53
SPEAKER_04: There's a couple different directions I can go here.
• 14:56
SPEAKER_04: Also, quick reminder to you guys to make sure you are at least keeping track of your picks so we could read them off at the end.
• 15:02
  unknown: Yeah.
• 15:04
SPEAKER_03: I am going to go with a place that I think is kind of similar to Sean's Charleston, South Carolina, a place in the southeast, uh, and that is Savannah, Georgia.
• 15:16
SPEAKER_03: Um Forest Gump, of course.
• 15:20
SPEAKER_03: Uh the bus stop scene was filled there, so that's the main reason why I'm taking it.
• 15:24
SPEAKER_03: Uh, but it's a beautiful town and a place where I can call home on the east coast for a few months a year.
• 15:32
SPEAKER_04: You always want to say it.
• 15:35
  SPEAKER_04: What say what?
• 15:37
SPEAKER_04: The Confederate word correct, yeah.
• 15:39
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, yeah.
• 15:40
  SPEAKER_04: I wasn't gonna, but now that Ryan prodded me, I I I guess I have to.
• 15:44
  SPEAKER_04: No, Shane, it's it's good.
• 15:45
SPEAKER_04: It I was between Charleston and Savannah, so we were fishing in the same pond there.
• 15:49
  SPEAKER_00: Shannon.
• 15:53
  SPEAKER_00: That's uh I I I've never been to Savannah.
• 15:55
  SPEAKER_00: I want to go, I've heard it's great.
• 15:57
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 15:58
  SPEAKER_02: Me too.
• 15:58
  SPEAKER_02: Same boat as Joe.
• 16:00
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I thought I had a wedding down there in June coming up here.
• 16:04
SPEAKER_04: It turns out it's a couple hours north of Savannah, so really a disaster.
• 16:08
SPEAKER_04: It's in a place no one's ever heard of in Georgia, so really not anything special.
• 16:12
SPEAKER_04: It won't be drafted today.
• 16:15
SPEAKER_04: So a bit of a bummer, but I might take a little detour and visit Savannah as well.
• 16:21
SPEAKER_04: All right, I'm torn between a couple.
• 16:24
  SPEAKER_04: I just don't know what Ryan's been to.
• 16:26
SPEAKER_04: I kind of want to play defense, but I I don't know.
• 16:30
SPEAKER_04: I'll take Newport, Rhode Island.
• 16:35
  SPEAKER_04: Newport, Rhode Island.
• 16:40
SPEAKER_04: The last great American dynasty.
• 16:43
SPEAKER_04: Just a beautiful when you think beauty, you think Newport, in my opinion.
• 16:47
SPEAKER_04: The beach houses are spectacular.
• 16:49
SPEAKER_04: There's rock beach instead of the traditional sand in a lot of places.
• 16:53
SPEAKER_04: The town itself is very quaint, it's nice, it has upscale, but then it has some different kind of vibes as well.
• 17:00
SPEAKER_04: You get a bit of everything there.
• 17:02
  SPEAKER_04: So I I love Newport.
• 17:03
SPEAKER_04: I spent a weekend there and I could spend several more, so I'm happy to have it.
• 17:08
SPEAKER_02: Can I ask why having a rock beach is a good thing?
• 17:12
  SPEAKER_04: Scenically, it's very scenically, it's it's great.
• 17:14
SPEAKER_04: And there's other areas of the beach as well, but it looks great with some of the lighthouses and some of the mansions on it.
• 17:19
  SPEAKER_04: It looks spectacular.
• 17:21
  SPEAKER_03: Very New England.
• 17:22
  unknown: Yeah.
• 17:23
SPEAKER_03: Sean has tough feet, so he can handle the uh rock beaches.
• 17:26
SPEAKER_03: Uh no, I Newport is awesome.
• 17:29
SPEAKER_03: I was considering it with my uh second round pick.
• 17:33
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, the mansions, just the coastal New England town.
• 17:37
  SPEAKER_03: It's it's hard to beat.
• 17:39
  SPEAKER_00: Newport is awesome.
• 17:40
SPEAKER_00: I was there when it was a little rainy, which kind of was unfortunate, but it was still a great time.
• 17:45
SPEAKER_00: Tennis Hall of Fame there too, of course.
• 17:48
SPEAKER_00: Um cool part of the country to claim uh, of course, uh, cool part of the country to uh claim some uh real estate in uh for this draft.
• 17:57
SPEAKER_00: So uh I like the pick.
• 18:00
SPEAKER_02: So I'm going to stake my claim in the the good weather category, and I'm gonna take I'm gonna take Clearwater, Florida.
• 18:09
SPEAKER_02: Love the Gulf Coast, love having the baseball down there, access to Tampa, um a little bit slower than like your kind of Miami, like big city kind of vibe.
• 18:22
SPEAKER_02: So uh I've I've really enjoyed the time I spent Clearwater, so that's that's gonna be my second pick.
• 18:27
SPEAKER_02: Claim the the the winter months down there.
• 18:31
  SPEAKER_04: Strong, strong pick.
• 18:32
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, Clearwater's great.
• 18:34
SPEAKER_04: The added bonus of spring training baseball, it's great.
• 18:37
SPEAKER_04: Shane, you get that in Scottsdale as well.
• 18:40
  SPEAKER_04: That's I like having that.
• 18:42
  SPEAKER_04: So I think that's a strong pick, Ryan.
• 18:46
  SPEAKER_04: Thank you.
• 18:47
SPEAKER_03: The Yankees are down there as well as the Phillies, right?
• 18:49
  SPEAKER_03: In Clearwater.
• 18:50
  SPEAKER_02: That's right.
• 18:51
SPEAKER_02: All right, so I got my my kind of home base with Richmond.
• 18:54
SPEAKER_02: I got my warm weather with clear water.
• 18:57
SPEAKER_02: Uh now I'm actually gonna go to a similar uh part of the country that you just went, Sean.
• 19:02
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna take I'm gonna take Providence, Rhode Island.
• 19:05
SPEAKER_02: Uh another great northeast uh small city, one that I spent a little bit of time in.
• 19:11
SPEAKER_02: Uh my cousin is a graduate of Johnson and Wales.
• 19:14
  SPEAKER_02: Shout out, Marr.
• 19:15
SPEAKER_02: Uh great food and pastry scene up in Providence.
• 19:19
  SPEAKER_02: The water's nice.
• 19:20
SPEAKER_02: Will I be spending one single second of the winter there?
• 19:23
SPEAKER_02: Absolutely not, but the summer will be uh great vibes in Providence.
• 19:26
SPEAKER_02: So uh cool city, cool culture.
• 19:29
SPEAKER_02: Um, I'm gonna go with Providence.
• 19:31
SPEAKER_03: Coach uh Coach Brian Hodgkin, too.
• 19:33
SPEAKER_03: So now uh the friars might be rocking.
• 19:36
SPEAKER_03: Uh no, I mean I've never been to Providence, but I love that part of the country.
• 19:41
SPEAKER_03: Uh the New England area, so good pick in my book.
• 19:46
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, Providence is sweet.
• 19:48
SPEAKER_04: I was only there for probably two days, two nights left first thing on a Sunday morning, and I Providence is awesome.
• 19:56
SPEAKER_04: Has all that you need in a downtown area.
• 19:59
SPEAKER_04: It's scenic, it's clean, it's cool, a lot of cool coffee shops, cool things to do.
• 20:05
SPEAKER_04: So I think it's a very, very solid pick, and definitely want the Northeast on your board in some capacity.
• 20:10
SPEAKER_04: So I a good job by you, Ryan.
• 20:12
  SPEAKER_01: Appreciate it.
• 20:13
  SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
• 20:14
  SPEAKER_01: Back to you, Sean.
• 20:16
SPEAKER_04: I know, and I'm in a real pickle here.
• 20:18
SPEAKER_04: I'm trying to play a little bit of defense while also while also staying true to myself and what I value the most.
• 20:26
  SPEAKER_04: I'll take Portland, Maine.
• 20:28
SPEAKER_04: I'm doubling up in the Northeast.
• 20:31
  SPEAKER_03: Are you fucking serious?
• 20:33
SPEAKER_04: And the reason I took it is because I know that Jeremy and Shane had been there last summer.
• 20:40
SPEAKER_04: And I I have Newport, Rhode Island, but this is my favorite place in the country to be, especially in the summertime, is in the Northeast.
• 20:50
SPEAKER_04: And those beaches are phenomenal.
• 20:52
SPEAKER_04: There's so much to do.
• 20:54
SPEAKER_04: Elite food scene in Portland.
• 20:56
SPEAKER_04: Just can't say enough good things.
• 20:57
SPEAKER_04: I was in Maine for the first time last year, and I'm already thinking about going back this summer.
• 21:01
SPEAKER_04: I just enjoyed it so much.
• 21:02
SPEAKER_04: So thrilled Portland is my third round pick.
• 21:06
  SPEAKER_04: Shane Jarrett?
• 21:07
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 21:08
  SPEAKER_03: All right.
• 21:08
  SPEAKER_03: For my next pick.
• 21:10
SPEAKER_03: Uh no, that was, I mean, Sean, you know exactly what you're doing to me.
• 21:16
SPEAKER_04: I did, but that's why I said I'm trying to play defense because I I have another one that I rank just as highly as Portland, but I didn't know if you'd been there or would take it, so I just thought I'd grab it just ahead of you two.
• 21:27
  SPEAKER_00: Good pick.
• 21:27
SPEAKER_00: Shane and I had a romantic uh little weekend there last summer.
• 21:31
SPEAKER_00: I mean, taking Providence, Rhode Island over Portland, Maine is just something, but here we are.
• 21:36
  SPEAKER_00: Um shot fire.
• 21:38
SPEAKER_02: I will say Okay, okay, okay, okay.
• 21:41
SPEAKER_02: I will say you would think Fish Town, my next pick.
• 21:45
  SPEAKER_00: I like Fish Town.
• 21:46
SPEAKER_00: Uh you would think that uh the lobster rolls would be a little cheaper because you're at the source and they were pretty much the same price everywhere else.
• 21:53
SPEAKER_00: So a little disappointing, but I uh I like Portland a lot.
• 21:56
SPEAKER_03: MP like Jeremy Cole, you either I paid for his.
• 22:01
  SPEAKER_03: So oh no.
• 22:03
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because I put my hotel on my card.
• 22:06
SPEAKER_02: My one experience in Portland, Maine.
• 22:08
SPEAKER_02: I was like eight years old when went up there, and the water in the ocean was the coldest water I've ever felt in my entire life.
• 22:14
SPEAKER_02: That was my one impression of the city, unfortunately.
• 22:16
SPEAKER_02: I mean, I guess I need to go back and experience it.
• 22:18
SPEAKER_02: When did you what month did you go?
• 22:19
  SPEAKER_02: Did you say that?
• 22:20
SPEAKER_02: I want to say it was like summer.
• 22:22
  SPEAKER_02: Oh wow.
• 22:23
  SPEAKER_02: And it was yeah.
• 22:24
  SPEAKER_04: Listen, I'll say this.
• 22:25
SPEAKER_04: Swimming in the ocean is not high on my list of things to do at this age.
• 22:27
SPEAKER_04: So like I'm not cool on that.
• 22:30
SPEAKER_04: But I'll be on a boat in the same water, Rye.
• 22:33
  SPEAKER_04: I hope it's I hope it's comfortable for the fish.
• 22:35
SPEAKER_02: But listen, I'll told you I'll try to add some color.
• 22:37
SPEAKER_02: You know, I'm adding color to the podcast.
• 22:39
  SPEAKER_02: That's all.
• 22:39
  SPEAKER_02: Water, Portland, Maine.
• 22:40
  SPEAKER_03: Very cold.
• 22:41
  SPEAKER_03: All right.
• 22:42
SPEAKER_03: I'm going to go back to the west coast now that there is nowhere else in the New England region to go to anymore.
• 22:48
SPEAKER_03: Uh, and I am gonna go to between a couple, and my choice is going to be Monterey, California.
• 22:56
SPEAKER_03: Um Monterey a few years ago, uh, and I just thought it was really cool, like a really cool coastal like wharf area.
• 23:10
SPEAKER_03: I remember having a great seafood meal there.
• 23:13
  SPEAKER_03: Um beautiful weather.
• 23:16
  SPEAKER_03: I'm going Monterey.
• 23:18
SPEAKER_04: And under the context chain of unlimited money, which I might not have mentioned on this episode, but it was true in the U.S.
• 23:24
SPEAKER_04: Cities draft, Monterey, that's a great pick.
• 23:27
  SPEAKER_04: World-class golf.
• 23:28
SPEAKER_04: Some of the best this country has to offer on the Monterey Peninsula.
• 23:32
  SPEAKER_04: So I think that's a phenomenal pick.
• 23:35
SPEAKER_04: And with all the money in the world, it'll go a long way there.
• 23:38
  SPEAKER_03: I still want it.
• 23:38
SPEAKER_02: I'll trade you for Portland.
• 23:40
SPEAKER_04: We are not open for business, unfortunately.
• 23:42
SPEAKER_02: Jerry, would you like to provide some color on Monterey?
• 23:45
SPEAKER_02: Because I have certainly never been there.
• 23:46
SPEAKER_00: I was very young when I was there, but it's awesome.
• 23:49
  SPEAKER_00: It's in California.
• 23:50
  SPEAKER_00: The weather's great.
• 23:52
  SPEAKER_00: Um great info.
• 23:55
SPEAKER_00: That's the stuff you can't get anywhere else.
• 23:56
SPEAKER_00: I mean, Sean took it from me.
• 23:59
  SPEAKER_00: Great golf.
• 23:59
SPEAKER_00: I think you can fly in a Monterey too.
• 24:01
SPEAKER_00: Like they have a decently sized airport for like being Monterey, which is a nice little plus.
• 24:06
SPEAKER_00: So um good pick, Shane.
• 24:08
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 24:08
  SPEAKER_00: Nice.
• 24:09
  SPEAKER_04: Lovely, Jared.
• 24:10
SPEAKER_04: Now, last pick of round three for you, Jared, and then first of round four.
• 24:14
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 24:15
SPEAKER_00: With the snake, I'm happy.
• 24:17
SPEAKER_00: Um I I got two picks I really like.
• 24:20
SPEAKER_00: I want um, listen, we're gonna stick in California, of course.
• 24:25
SPEAKER_00: Um we're gonna we're gonna go a little up north.
• 24:29
SPEAKER_00: We're gonna get uh and we're gonna get wine.
• 24:32
  SPEAKER_00: We're gonna get Napa.
• 24:34
  SPEAKER_00: Oh, good pick, Jeremy.
• 24:35
  SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
• 24:36
  SPEAKER_00: Jeremy, that's it.
• 24:37
SPEAKER_00: We're gonna get a little wine, awesome houses, great weather, of course, too.
• 24:41
SPEAKER_00: Nice uh nice little downtown city.
• 24:44
SPEAKER_00: Jared, can you tell me about your time in Napa?
• 24:46
SPEAKER_00: It was brief, and I was young on the San Francisco trip, but I couldn't drink the wine, of course.
• 24:52
SPEAKER_00: But like I got to we like stomped on grapes.
• 24:55
SPEAKER_00: We like stomped on grapes, and yeah, now I could.
• 24:58
SPEAKER_00: Uh, and it was uh, you know, you do the tours and you go around that stuff, so that was really fun.
• 25:03
SPEAKER_00: Um, so I'll take Napa with my third round pick.
• 25:07
  SPEAKER_00: I love it.
• 25:07
  SPEAKER_00: That's I I think that's a really good one, Jar.
• 25:10
  SPEAKER_04: Thank you.
• 25:10
SPEAKER_00: Next pick, so many places I could go, but I'm really happy with this pick.
• 25:13
SPEAKER_00: Again, value, value, value, boys.
• 25:15
SPEAKER_00: I will take I'll take Myrtle Beach here.
• 25:20
SPEAKER_00: We went here just however many years ago with the group, which was awesome.
• 25:25
SPEAKER_00: The golf is world class, great beaches, South Carolina, the weather's awesome.
• 25:31
  SPEAKER_00: Um, good food too.
• 25:33
SPEAKER_00: You know, you could get some good uh seafood there.
• 25:37
SPEAKER_00: Um, just in cool, cool developments, cool help, cool homes, cool community, laid back from what I remembered.
• 25:44
SPEAKER_00: Time really slows down there.
• 25:46
SPEAKER_00: So if I have to be, if I can't be on the west side for this pick, I'll take Myrtle Beach.
• 25:52
  SPEAKER_00: Good pick.
• 25:52
SPEAKER_02: I was I was hoping it was gonna get back to me.
• 25:54
SPEAKER_02: Uh it was a good good mid-round value.
• 25:56
SPEAKER_02: I actually, as for as much as I was gonna make fun of your value, value, value, I actually agree with that.
• 26:00
  SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
• 26:01
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I think it's a fine pick if you can't afford Charleston.
• 26:05
SPEAKER_00: I just think argue with that.
• 26:07
SPEAKER_04: But if I if I have a few years, Charleston is a first rounder, this is a third rounder or fourth rounder.
• 26:10
  SPEAKER_04: I don't think that's a bad round.
• 26:12
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, right.
• 26:13
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, the golf is great.
• 26:14
SPEAKER_04: You mentioned it, so I I think that's a that's a fine selection in the fourth round.
• 26:19
  SPEAKER_03: Thank you.
• 26:19
  SPEAKER_03: All right.
• 26:20
  SPEAKER_03: Back to me.
• 26:21
SPEAKER_03: Uh, yes, good good pick, Jared.
• 26:24
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, good pick.
• 26:25
  SPEAKER_05: Good pick.
• 26:25
SPEAKER_03: I was more so researching my next pick here uh than really paying attention what you to what you had to say, but I did enjoy my usual.
• 26:33
  SPEAKER_03: Per usual.
• 26:34
  SPEAKER_03: Per usual, yes.
• 26:35
SPEAKER_03: Now, with that being said, since Sean uh has been so mean and is taking all the places that he knows that I've been, that I really love, I might have to start taking places that I've never been to.
• 26:50
SPEAKER_03: Uh I'm not gonna say that I haven't been to this place, because I have driven by it.
• 26:55
SPEAKER_03: Uh but we didn't stop there.
• 26:57
  SPEAKER_03: Fourth rounds, gross.
• 27:00
SPEAKER_03: The integrity of the thing.
• 27:02
SPEAKER_03: The graphic at the end doesn't say if you've been there or not.
• 27:04
SPEAKER_03: So with that being said, I'm going to take the beautiful, beautiful Colorado town of Telluride.
• 27:14
SPEAKER_03: Now, this town is for when I need a weekend getaway out in nature.
• 27:19
  SPEAKER_03: The mountains are beautiful.
• 27:21
SPEAKER_03: Ryan, I could see that look in your eyes.
• 27:22
SPEAKER_03: Look up a picture of Telluride and tell me that it isn't beautiful.
• 27:25
SPEAKER_02: Shane, I'm that's not why I'm upset with the pick.
• 27:29
SPEAKER_02: I thought we were playing with integrity, uh and then we're not, so that's fine.
• 27:33
SPEAKER_02: Shane, here's where I have an issue with it.
• 27:35
  SPEAKER_04: Beautiful town.
• 27:36
  SPEAKER_04: Good.
• 27:36
  SPEAKER_04: I mean, yeah, it's unbelievable.
• 27:39
SPEAKER_04: Just not, I, in my opinion, I think there's two better in Colorado than Tell Uride that I will be taking one of shortly.
• 27:46
SPEAKER_04: So that's where I but listen, we're very similar in our taste, Shane.
• 27:51
SPEAKER_04: Having Colorado on the board is a it's an important step, I think, to completing the roster.
• 27:55
SPEAKER_04: So I can't chirp it too much.
• 27:57
SPEAKER_00: They have a film festival in Telluride, right, Shane?
• 28:02
SPEAKER_00: He's never been, how do you know, Jared?
• 28:04
SPEAKER_00: Oh, we've well, I think uh I think they have a big film festival uh over the summer there, but beautiful.
• 28:11
SPEAKER_02: Should we vote on if we can put an asterisk next to every place that someone picks that they haven't been to?
• 28:16
SPEAKER_04: No, because then we get the lion game.
• 28:18
  SPEAKER_02: San Juan.
• 28:18
  SPEAKER_02: Okay, San Juan.
• 28:20
SPEAKER_02: And also we get spent a lot of time in San Juan, it's beautiful.
• 28:23
SPEAKER_04: But also, we have the Jeremy scandal where he said he's been to Seattle, said he would provide pictures and has not.
• 28:29
SPEAKER_04: So I don't want, I don't want Jeremy photoshopping him next to the Pike Place market, tossing fish.
• 28:36
  SPEAKER_04: I don't want to Seattle.
• 28:38
  SPEAKER_05: Oh my god.
• 28:40
  SPEAKER_05: He lied.
• 28:42
  SPEAKER_00: Good value.
• 28:46
SPEAKER_04: Listeners, on this very on this very channel, he said he went in high school.
• 28:52
  SPEAKER_04: I said, I don't know.
• 28:53
SPEAKER_04: It didn't sound like you were there based on your description of the city.
• 28:56
SPEAKER_04: And he said, No, I went in high school, helped my mom get the pictures.
• 28:59
SPEAKER_04: I've asked for said pictures.
• 29:01
SPEAKER_04: He tried saying he never said it, and now he's admitted.
• 29:04
  SPEAKER_04: He's never been.
• 29:05
  SPEAKER_04: Absolutely disgusting behavior Jeremy.
• 29:07
SPEAKER_00: Went to Mariner's game, went to the space meetle.
• 29:11
SPEAKER_02: Brothers of no or the cousins of no integrity.
• 29:15
  SPEAKER_02: Facts.
• 29:16
  SPEAKER_02: Okay.
• 29:16
  SPEAKER_02: Oh boy.
• 29:18
SPEAKER_04: I'll just stay on the Colorado theme, and I'll take my favorite city in Colorado and mentioned it on the bigger draft.
• 29:26
SPEAKER_04: That my favorite one wasn't draft eligible in that one.
• 29:29
SPEAKER_04: Fort Collins is my favorite.
• 29:30
SPEAKER_04: Home of the Colorado State Aggies, home of New Amsterdam brewing, home of beautiful vibes, great restaurants, good hiking in the area, close to a lot of things.
• 29:42
SPEAKER_04: It has everything you need from a cuisine standpoint, too.
• 29:44
SPEAKER_04: They knock that out of the park.
• 29:46
SPEAKER_04: Fresh air, like Shane you mentioned, just beautiful having Colorado on your board.
• 29:49
SPEAKER_04: Telluride's a lot more scenic than Fort Collins is, but I think there's more to do in Fort Collins, and you still have some of those abilities to hike and do things of that nature.
• 29:57
  SPEAKER_04: So happy.
• 29:58
SPEAKER_04: I need to Colorado, obviously.
• 29:59
SPEAKER_04: It's my favorite state, so happy to get Fort Collins.
• 30:02
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 30:03
SPEAKER_03: While Jared was rambling on about his Myrtle Beach pick, I did a quick Google images of Telluride versus Fort Collins.
• 30:09
SPEAKER_03: I went with Telluride for the Mountains.
• 30:12
SPEAKER_03: Uh but yes, like you said, Fort Collins probably has way more to do there.
• 30:18
  SPEAKER_04: Yes.
• 30:18
  SPEAKER_04: Yep.
• 30:19
  SPEAKER_04: It's it's choose your own adventure.
• 30:20
SPEAKER_04: Both are good for different reasons.
• 30:22
SPEAKER_04: So I think we're both in lockstep that Colorado's an awesome state.
• 30:26
SPEAKER_00: It sounds like Sean got a better pick.
• 30:29
SPEAKER_00: It sounds like Sean got a better pick if there's more to do there.
• 30:32
SPEAKER_00: Well, but then also Shane has other cities.
• 30:36
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 30:36
SPEAKER_00: So if he if he's occupied his time and he's not hiking.
• 30:40
SPEAKER_00: Tell you ride looks like it comes right out of a movie.
• 30:43
  SPEAKER_00: It's crazy.
• 30:45
SPEAKER_04: Great skiing, too, Shane, and yours, so if that's something that floats your boat.
• 30:49
SPEAKER_04: Hey, you never know, with all the money and resources in the world, you might become a skier.
• 30:52
SPEAKER_04: That is that it's a great point.
• 30:54
  SPEAKER_02: My turn for two.
• 30:55
SPEAKER_02: There's one that's fallen that I like, so I'm just gonna take it here.
• 30:59
SPEAKER_02: I don't know how high it was on anyone else's board, but I really like Knoxville, Tennessee.
• 31:03
SPEAKER_02: Um, it's a cool, it really is like up and coming.
• 31:07
SPEAKER_02: Um UT obviously is a huge influence.
• 31:10
SPEAKER_02: It's a huge college town, but then also it's a much bigger city than people realize.
• 31:14
SPEAKER_02: Really cool brewery scene there, very close to the Great Smoky Mountains.
• 31:18
SPEAKER_02: So I've I've had several stops there and I've enjoyed my time in in Knoxville.
• 31:22
SPEAKER_02: So I'm gonna take that off the board here.
• 31:24
SPEAKER_03: Oh, Rocky Top, you'll always be.
• 31:28
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 31:29
  SPEAKER_02: Finish it right.
• 31:31
  SPEAKER_02: Boyle hates that pick.
• 31:32
SPEAKER_04: Well, here's the thing, Ryan.
• 31:33
SPEAKER_04: I hate the University of Tennessee with a T pack.
• 31:36
  SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
• 31:37
SPEAKER_04: If I did not, I was actually going to compliment the pick.
• 31:39
SPEAKER_04: I think it's a pretty cool city town objectively.
• 31:43
SPEAKER_04: There is a lot to do.
• 31:44
  SPEAKER_04: It's nice.
• 31:45
SPEAKER_04: I just can't get past my hate of Tennessee.
• 31:47
SPEAKER_04: So it wouldn't be on my board, but I think I think objectively it did need to get drafted in this kind of draft.
• 31:52
SPEAKER_04: And I think a pretty good value pick for you there to wrap out the fourth.
• 31:56
  SPEAKER_02: Totally fair.
• 31:58
SPEAKER_02: And then uh I'm gonna continue to just be authentic to myself.
• 32:03
SPEAKER_02: This was maybe not on anyone else's board, but I love this place.
• 32:07
SPEAKER_02: And uh Veronica and I love this place.
• 32:09
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna take Hot Springs, Arkansas.
• 32:11
  SPEAKER_02: Okay.
• 32:12
SPEAKER_02: Now, for those of you that have not been or are unaware, Hot Springs National Park uh is in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
• 32:19
SPEAKER_02: It is a really cool little old town um where the national park is just kind of all over the place.
• 32:26
SPEAKER_02: Like there's these little hot springs all over the town.
• 32:29
SPEAKER_02: There's a big river that runs through it as well.
• 32:31
SPEAKER_02: Uh you can eat down there.
• 32:33
SPEAKER_02: There's some cool, like old school bars that used to be like run by the mob that I really like.
• 32:38
SPEAKER_02: It's called the Ohio Club.
• 32:39
SPEAKER_02: I actually think it's the oldest bar in America.
• 32:41
SPEAKER_02: You can check me on that.
• 32:42
SPEAKER_02: It's called the Ohio Club in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
• 32:45
  SPEAKER_02: Um, it's a really cool vibe.
• 32:47
SPEAKER_02: V and I say it's some really cool uh Airbnbs there.
• 32:50
  SPEAKER_02: It's a it's a place that we've gone back to multiple times.
• 32:52
  SPEAKER_02: I love it.
• 32:53
SPEAKER_02: Just the national park as well.
• 32:54
  SPEAKER_02: So Hot Springs, Arkansas.
• 32:56
SPEAKER_02: Not sure if y'all have been there, but gotta stay true to myself.
• 32:59
  SPEAKER_02: There's a mob in Arkansas.
• 33:00
  SPEAKER_02: I don't know if it's the mob I'm referring to.
• 33:03
SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna look this up.
• 33:04
SPEAKER_00: Is the mob the KKK?
• 33:08
  SPEAKER_00: Jesus.
• 33:09
SPEAKER_00: Um I've heard of Hot Springs, Arkansas, never been.
• 33:12
SPEAKER_00: Um, but I've heard great things, honestly, Ryan.
• 33:15
  SPEAKER_00: So interesting pick.
• 33:17
  SPEAKER_04: I I did a quick one.
• 33:19
SPEAKER_04: I've never been I've never been in Arkansas, but hey, if you're national park hunting, no shame in that.
• 33:26
SPEAKER_02: Oldest bar in Arkansas history, sorry.
• 33:28
SPEAKER_02: Also, uh hometown of Bill Clinton, I think.
• 33:32
SPEAKER_00: The oldest bar in America is the White Horse Tavern in Sean's Newport, Rhode Island.
• 33:38
  SPEAKER_00: Oh, sure.
• 33:39
SPEAKER_00: What year was that, Jeremy?
• 33:42
  SPEAKER_00: 1673.
• 33:44
  SPEAKER_00: Wow.
• 33:45
  SPEAKER_00: Wow.
• 33:46
SPEAKER_00: Let's get a bit of everything in Newport.
• 33:48
SPEAKER_00: What were you guys doing back then?
• 33:50
  SPEAKER_00: We were speaking British.
• 33:52
SPEAKER_00: Sorry, the biggest thing I didn't mention about.
• 33:55
SPEAKER_02: Did you say we were speaking British?
• 33:57
  SPEAKER_00: It's a joke.
• 33:58
  SPEAKER_02: Of course it's English.
• 34:00
SPEAKER_02: Just verified that mob it was a famous place where mobsters would stop.
• 34:04
SPEAKER_02: Um, I will also say this, it's very cool because there's a bunch of bathhouses along the main drag, and you could there's hot springs.
• 34:11
SPEAKER_02: You can literally go fill your water bottle in the hot spring all over the place, which is really cool.
• 34:15
  SPEAKER_02: So, anyway.
• 34:15
  SPEAKER_04: I wasn't familiar with the bathhouses.
• 34:17
SPEAKER_04: I thought that was what like what Lamar Odom frequented.
• 34:21
SPEAKER_02: No, no, it's but the spring water you go in, it's like a it's like a spa.
• 34:26
SPEAKER_04: Oh, they need to rebrand to a spa.
• 34:28
  SPEAKER_04: Spa sounds lovely.
• 34:29
  SPEAKER_04: Bathhouse, I don't know if I'm pulling over.
• 34:32
SPEAKER_03: I was thinking ancient Rome.
• 34:34
  SPEAKER_03: Bathhouse.
• 34:36
  SPEAKER_03: Sure.
• 34:38
  SPEAKER_04: Good stuff, Ryan.
• 34:39
SPEAKER_04: Listeners, also, as we tend to do here in the Torture Fans Department, we have potentially extended the draft by two rounds.
• 34:45
SPEAKER_04: There's just simply there's too much, there's too many good cities that we have to talk about.
• 34:49
SPEAKER_04: So I'm up for my fifth round pick.
• 34:52
SPEAKER_04: And since we're doing eight rounds now, I feel like my board's wide open.
• 34:56
SPEAKER_04: I can go in a lot of different directions.
• 34:58
SPEAKER_04: I am going to take my Florida residence.
• 35:02
SPEAKER_04: I have Charleston for some warm weather, but the place I love the most in Florida, and I think it might have been on Chainsboard again.
• 35:08
  SPEAKER_04: I love St.
• 35:09
  SPEAKER_04: Augustine.
• 35:10
SPEAKER_04: That's where I think it's the nicest city I've been in in Florida.
• 35:14
SPEAKER_04: We were there together last year while visiting once again our good friend Mark Monera.
• 35:19
SPEAKER_04: And boy oh boy, was that a special place.
• 35:21
SPEAKER_04: I wish we got to spend more time there, but it was it blew Jacksonville out of the water, for example.
• 35:25
SPEAKER_04: And that was one of the picks we had in the U.S.
• 35:28
  SPEAKER_04: Cities draft.
• 35:29
SPEAKER_04: So very impressed with St.
• 35:30
  SPEAKER_04: Augustine.
• 35:31
  SPEAKER_04: Obviously, great weather.
• 35:32
SPEAKER_04: It just seemed like it had a bit of everything.
• 35:34
SPEAKER_04: And also, I believe it's maybe the oldest city in the United States.
• 35:37
  SPEAKER_04: I know St.
• 35:38
  SPEAKER_04: Augustine's up there.
• 35:39
SPEAKER_04: We were getting a little bit loose with the facts here.
• 35:41
SPEAKER_05: So I'm gonna go very loose.
• 35:44
  SPEAKER_04: But uh St.
• 35:45
  SPEAKER_04: Augustine, I'm a big fan of.
• 35:47
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 35:47
  SPEAKER_03: No, St.
• 35:48
SPEAKER_03: Augustine was uh was pretty cool when we were there, no doubt about that.
• 35:51
  SPEAKER_03: St.
• 35:51
SPEAKER_04: Augustine, Florida is recognized as the oldest continuously occupied European established settlement in the continental United States.
• 35:58
  SPEAKER_04: Thank you.
• 35:58
  SPEAKER_04: Interesting.
• 35:59
SPEAKER_03: No, if if I was sticking to places that I've been, I would be very upset with that pick.
• 36:05
  SPEAKER_03: But I am not.
• 36:07
SPEAKER_03: So with my next pick, I'm going to take another Florida city/slash town.
• 36:14
SPEAKER_03: Uh, that is very, very, very nice.
• 36:17
SPEAKER_03: That is why all the professional golfers stay there, and that is Jupiter.
• 36:23
SPEAKER_04: Um we were we were basically there, Shane, when we were in West Palm.
• 36:29
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 36:29
SPEAKER_04: I think we drove in Jupiter.
• 36:30
  SPEAKER_04: I mean, it's yeah, it's very similar.
• 36:32
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 36:32
SPEAKER_03: Being neighbors with uh Rory and uh and Jordo.
• 36:37
  SPEAKER_03: Jordo's a Texas guy.
• 36:39
  SPEAKER_03: Sure, sure.
• 36:40
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I was just thinking of golfers.
• 36:42
SPEAKER_03: Uh Brooks, Rory, JT, all those guys.
• 36:45
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
• 36:46
  SPEAKER_03: Beautiful.
• 36:46
SPEAKER_03: Jupiter, Florida, sign me up.
• 36:49
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's important to have a a beach on your board, too.
• 36:52
SPEAKER_04: I think that's it's always nice to be able to go to the beach at some point.
• 36:55
SPEAKER_04: So that's where I kind of want.
• 36:57
SPEAKER_04: I wanted something in my rotation where I could get a little beach time.
• 37:00
SPEAKER_03: Maybe one you've been to.
• 37:02
SPEAKER_03: I'd rather take Jupiter than Hot Springs, Arkansas.
• 37:04
  SPEAKER_03: So fair.
• 37:05
  SPEAKER_03: Let's see.
• 37:07
  SPEAKER_04: Two different strategies here.
• 37:08
SPEAKER_04: Ryan's staying true to himself.
• 37:09
  SPEAKER_04: Shane's going to win a draft.
• 37:11
SPEAKER_04: So I and Ryan, you not saying you can't win with by staying true to yourself, but that would just, it just, it's the old-fashioned way.
• 37:17
SPEAKER_03: Ryan, you're like Omar Khan calling uh Mikhail Lemon, and I'm like, Howie.
• 37:23
  SPEAKER_03: Stay true to yourself.
• 37:24
SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna go get the guy.
• 37:26
SPEAKER_00: What airport do you have to fly into to go to Jupiter West Palm on the kids board?
• 37:36
SPEAKER_04: Darrell be banning flights from Shane in and out of his airport hub.
• 37:41
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's it's like Monopoly.
• 37:43
SPEAKER_00: Land it all night square.
• 37:44
SPEAKER_00: Um all right, fifth round pick.
• 37:48
SPEAKER_00: I'm really happy with this pick.
• 37:51
  SPEAKER_00: I'm really happy.
• 37:52
SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna take Saratoga Springs, New York.
• 37:56
SPEAKER_00: You got the horses, you got the tracks, cute little town, too.
• 38:01
SPEAKER_00: Um we've I've probably been there a dozen times.
• 38:07
  SPEAKER_00: Cute hotels, water.
• 38:09
SPEAKER_00: Um I love Saratoga Springs.
• 38:12
SPEAKER_00: It's uh it's a great little place in New York.
• 38:14
SPEAKER_00: Um probably an hour, hour and a half from the city.
• 38:18
  SPEAKER_00: Um, and it's awesome.
• 38:20
SPEAKER_00: There's so much to do, especially during the summer when they when it's horse season.
• 38:24
SPEAKER_00: It's it's great, and the whole town like shuts down.
• 38:26
  SPEAKER_00: Um, it's awesome.
• 38:28
SPEAKER_00: I think I think it's another good one for me, Jar.
• 38:30
SPEAKER_04: I think you're stringing together some nice picks here.
• 38:32
  SPEAKER_04: I love horse racing.
• 38:33
  SPEAKER_04: Saratoga's beautiful.
• 38:35
SPEAKER_04: It has it has enough to to do too.
• 38:37
SPEAKER_04: It holds up as a town.
• 38:38
SPEAKER_04: I would go there and just gamble on the horse, so I think that's a that's a fine pick.
• 38:42
  SPEAKER_02: Uh it's three hours.
• 38:44
  SPEAKER_02: Three hours.
• 38:45
SPEAKER_04: You can vacate three hours, but like if you live there too.
• 38:48
  SPEAKER_02: That's wild.
• 38:50
SPEAKER_02: It's three hours from the city.
• 38:51
SPEAKER_02: Also, though, uh besides that, uh iconic concert venue up there that I have not been to, but is on my list uh in SPAC Saratoga Performing Arts.
• 39:02
  SPEAKER_02: That's right.
• 39:03
SPEAKER_02: An iconic Dave Matthews band venue that I is on my list before he stops playing.
• 39:08
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, Dave's there pretty much every year, I think.
• 39:11
  SPEAKER_02: Every year.
• 39:12
  SPEAKER_04: Good stuff, Jar.
• 39:13
  SPEAKER_04: What's your second?
• 39:14
  SPEAKER_00: I'll take Fort Lauderdale.
• 39:16
SPEAKER_00: Uh, another Florida place, another beach close to Miami.
• 39:21
SPEAKER_00: I mean, what's the difference from West Palm and Fort Lauderdale?
• 39:24
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, just a bad diversity.
• 39:26
SPEAKER_00: You get two awesome towns in Florida.
• 39:28
  SPEAKER_00: Location.
• 39:29
  SPEAKER_00: Sure.
• 39:30
SPEAKER_00: But are you gonna are you gonna move your time between the two?
• 39:33
SPEAKER_00: I guess again, remember, it's Monopoly, so no one can land on those spots.
• 39:37
SPEAKER_00: If you land on them, that should be the theme.
• 39:40
SPEAKER_00: So I'm uh I'm taking over the the Florida coast.
• 39:44
SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah, Florida, I've been there a few times.
• 39:47
SPEAKER_00: Uh we went there before West Palm, I think, Shane, Mike Blum, and Mark Monera.
• 39:53
SPEAKER_00: Um, been there other times too.
• 39:54
SPEAKER_00: It's actually a cool town, more laid back than Miami, of course, and good demographic of uh different people, not just like, you know, older people.
• 40:04
SPEAKER_00: So uh yeah, I'll take Fort Lauderdale.
• 40:06
SPEAKER_04: I just feel like it's a bit redundant, but aside from that, Fort Waterdale, of course, I mean it's a cool place.
• 40:10
SPEAKER_04: It's just I think Jar's fishing in in California and Florida exclusively.
• 40:16
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, do you have one Saratoga's only I think Saratoga Yeah, geez?
• 40:28
  SPEAKER_05: Oh, it's more water.
• 40:30
  SPEAKER_00: I've worked I've worked this up.
• 40:32
  SPEAKER_00: There's we've been we've been through this.
• 40:35
SPEAKER_00: You don't need to be in the middle of this country.
• 40:37
SPEAKER_00: It's the West Coast, East Coast.
• 40:41
SPEAKER_00: Everything in between is a flyover state.
• 40:45
  SPEAKER_03: Clip that.
• 40:46
  SPEAKER_03: Um all right.
• 40:48
SPEAKER_03: My next pick, I'm going to go back to the West Coast again.
• 40:53
SPEAKER_03: I feel like I'm going back and forth between coasts here, like Jeremy said.
• 40:57
SPEAKER_03: I'm going to a place where I have been, uh a favorite of two of my buddies, Jesse and Eric, and that is Malibu, California.
• 41:05
SPEAKER_03: Again, if money is not an issue, there's a reason why rich people live in Malibu.
• 41:12
  SPEAKER_03: It is really nice.
• 41:14
SPEAKER_03: There's really nice beaches there, good hiking trails, uh, really affluent area.
• 41:20
SPEAKER_03: Um, I will be going Malibu, California.
• 41:24
SPEAKER_03: This will be my sixth overall pick in my draft.
• 41:28
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 41:31
  SPEAKER_00: Chair doesn't like it.
• 41:33
SPEAKER_00: You ever you ever heard of uh the fires?
• 41:35
SPEAKER_00: And they don't give it, they're not giving out insurance too on those properties as well anymore, so have fun.
• 41:42
  SPEAKER_00: That was bad, Jer.
• 41:43
SPEAKER_04: The threat threat of arson from cousin Jeremy.
• 41:46
SPEAKER_00: Just trying to say, I'm not saying arson, I'm saying wildfires.
• 41:52
  SPEAKER_00: Mother Nature, yeah.
• 41:54
SPEAKER_00: Not the most relatable pick.
• 41:56
  SPEAKER_02: I'm I can't speak much to Malibu, but I'm sure it's nice.
• 42:00
SPEAKER_04: It's to me in the sixth round.
• 42:03
SPEAKER_04: We're I don't want to start coming across as like cousin Jeremy here with uh uh places all in one region of the country.
• 42:12
SPEAKER_04: So I'm gonna I'm gonna withhold another pick that I have i in the northeast.
• 42:17
SPEAKER_04: And I'm gonna take my talents to uh I have to say this is it feels a bit like San Juan, but I will be taking St.
• 42:27
  SPEAKER_04: Thomas of the U.S.
• 42:28
  SPEAKER_04: Virgin Islands.
• 42:30
SPEAKER_04: So if San Juan was allowed, this certainly is.
• 42:34
SPEAKER_04: So thank you, Ryan, for opening up Pandora's box there.
• 42:39
  SPEAKER_04: But St.
• 42:39
  SPEAKER_04: Thomas I mean it's St.
• 42:41
SPEAKER_02: Thomas is not a city, though.
• 42:42
SPEAKER_02: You gotta pick a place in St.
• 42:44
  SPEAKER_02: Thomas.
• 42:45
  SPEAKER_02: That's the place.
• 42:47
  unknown: St.
• 42:47
  SPEAKER_02: Thomas is a country.
• 42:48
  SPEAKER_02: Or like a it's like a it's a no, it's it's a territory.
• 42:52
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 42:53
  SPEAKER_02: Right, that's not a city.
• 42:55
SPEAKER_04: Okay, I think it's actually called St.
• 42:57
  SPEAKER_04: Thomas.
• 42:58
  SPEAKER_04: I think it is.
• 42:59
SPEAKER_02: Lurkenland, Peterborg, Lovinland, Mondal, Tutu.
• 43:05
  SPEAKER_04: Okay, perfect.
• 43:06
  SPEAKER_04: I'll take Charlotte Amelie.
• 43:07
SPEAKER_02: You gotta pick one of these places.
• 43:09
SPEAKER_02: It's the capital and largest city in the West Virginia Islands.
• 43:13
  SPEAKER_02: Beautiful.
• 43:13
  SPEAKER_02: There you go.
• 43:14
  SPEAKER_02: That's what yep.
• 43:15
  SPEAKER_04: Good pick.
• 43:16
  SPEAKER_04: Ever been?
• 43:18
SPEAKER_04: And let me just say, yes, I have been.
• 43:20
SPEAKER_04: That's where the cruise docks.
• 43:22
SPEAKER_04: The Caribbean cruise I was on, that's where it docked.
• 43:24
  SPEAKER_04: Delightful day, Jeremy.
• 43:26
  SPEAKER_04: Thank you.
• 43:26
  SPEAKER_04: And delightful.
• 43:28
SPEAKER_04: I will I will go ahead and I will remove that from the board.
• 43:32
SPEAKER_04: I was mostly doing it to prove a point to my uh to Ryan.
• 43:39
  SPEAKER_04: What's that?
• 43:39
SPEAKER_00: You don't you don't have to remove it from the board.
• 43:41
  SPEAKER_04: No, but I feel it's disingenuous.
• 43:43
SPEAKER_04: So I'm going to remove it.
• 43:45
SPEAKER_04: We we we don't need to play dirty.
• 43:48
SPEAKER_04: I that was a little below the belt shot by me.
• 43:50
SPEAKER_04: I could have gotten it in the last round, too.
• 43:51
SPEAKER_04: It took you all by surprise.
• 43:52
SPEAKER_04: I was mostly doing it for the moment, and we got the moment.
• 43:55
SPEAKER_00: So you could have taken that as an undrafted free agent.
• 43:58
SPEAKER_04: I could have for sure.
• 44:00
SPEAKER_04: Yes, but I will go with another place I've been.
• 44:03
SPEAKER_04: This one is probably not, I don't know if anybody else has it on their board.
• 44:06
SPEAKER_04: It's a little bit a completely different vibe than St.
• 44:09
  SPEAKER_04: Thomas, but Madison, Wisconsin.
• 44:14
  SPEAKER_04: Yes, okay.
• 44:15
SPEAKER_04: I'm glad somebody else has been.
• 44:18
SPEAKER_04: Perfect college town with just it's like an elevated college town.
• 44:22
  SPEAKER_04: It has everything.
• 44:23
SPEAKER_04: Lakes nearby, ton of stuff to do, great breweries, beer, cheese, much, much similar notes to Milwaukee, which was largely shit on in the U.S.
• 44:34
  SPEAKER_04: City's draft.
• 44:35
  SPEAKER_04: I think this one's a little bit better.
• 44:36
SPEAKER_04: I think there's a little bit more to do in Madison.
• 44:38
  SPEAKER_04: I think it's a little nicer.
• 44:38
SPEAKER_04: So I'll take the capital of Wisconsin.
• 44:40
  SPEAKER_00: I'll be honest.
• 44:41
SPEAKER_00: This was on my board.
• 44:42
SPEAKER_00: It was going to be my next pick.
• 44:44
  SPEAKER_00: Never been.
• 44:44
SPEAKER_00: I've heard it's the best college town in the country.
• 44:47
SPEAKER_00: And I I have family who have gone through Wisconsin and Madison, but I've heard I've heard it's literally the best college campus in the country.
• 44:54
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I went with Temple basketball during college, and then when I was in living in Minnesota, I went over for a weekend to Madison.
• 45:01
  SPEAKER_04: And it's I loved it.
• 45:02
  SPEAKER_04: It was awesome.
• 45:03
  SPEAKER_02: Heard great things.
• 45:04
SPEAKER_02: I would love to visit.
• 45:05
  SPEAKER_02: I'm not bad.
• 45:05
  SPEAKER_02: Darn.
• 45:06
SPEAKER_02: I would love to go as well.
• 45:08
  SPEAKER_02: Okay.
• 45:09
SPEAKER_02: I am going to take this past fall, took a little couples trip to this place and loved it.
• 45:17
SPEAKER_02: On the famous 30A in Florida, Rosemary Beach, Florida.
• 45:22
  SPEAKER_02: Oh.
• 45:23
SPEAKER_02: The uh it's along the lines of like the Destin, uh, Rosemary Beach, Alice Beach.
• 45:29
  SPEAKER_02: Um loved it.
• 45:31
SPEAKER_02: Small, quaint, especially in the off season.
• 45:33
SPEAKER_02: Like, this is not a summer destination.
• 45:35
SPEAKER_02: This is a we're going in like November, October kind of vibe, uh, where the weather's still good, but it's nowhere near as crowded.
• 45:43
  SPEAKER_02: Super quaint.
• 45:44
  SPEAKER_02: Everyone bikes everywhere.
• 45:46
  SPEAKER_02: Great little restaurants.
• 45:47
SPEAKER_02: If money's not an object, you get a little house on the beach right there.
• 45:50
  SPEAKER_02: It's it's stunning and it's pristine.
• 45:53
SPEAKER_02: Um, so would be a great spot to have a little place.
• 45:56
SPEAKER_02: So I'm gonna take Rosemary Beach, Florida.
• 45:57
  SPEAKER_02: Oh, it does.
• 45:58
  SPEAKER_02: That's nice.
• 45:58
  SPEAKER_02: I've never been.
• 45:59
  SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna do a little Google.
• 46:01
SPEAKER_04: My sister was there on a bachelorette trip last month, and she spoke highly of it.
• 46:05
SPEAKER_04: So it seems like a ball knowers place to go in Florida.
• 46:10
SPEAKER_02: All the rich Southerners vacation there.
• 46:12
SPEAKER_02: Like I had never heard of it until I moved down to the south, and everyone's talking about this 30A thing, and I went and it is it is beautiful.
• 46:19
SPEAKER_02: So what are you saying?
• 46:20
  SPEAKER_02: 30A?
• 46:21
SPEAKER_02: 30A is like the it's like the highway that connects all these like uh handhandle Florida beaches, essentially.
• 46:28
  SPEAKER_02: Okay.
• 46:28
  SPEAKER_02: Got it.
• 46:29
  SPEAKER_02: Looks nice.
• 46:29
  SPEAKER_02: Love it.
• 46:30
  SPEAKER_02: It's super nice.
• 46:30
SPEAKER_02: And then my next pick, I am going to I gotta do it.
• 46:36
  SPEAKER_02: I gotta do it.
• 46:37
  SPEAKER_02: I gotta do it.
• 46:38
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna take Kihei Maui.
• 46:45
  SPEAKER_02: Kihei Maui in Hawaii.
• 46:48
  SPEAKER_02: Uh stunning, stunning place.
• 46:52
SPEAKER_02: Spent, you know, three or four days there uh and just just majestic, beautiful.
• 46:58
  SPEAKER_02: Cannot beat it.
• 46:58
  SPEAKER_02: The beaches are unbelievable.
• 47:00
SPEAKER_02: Best fish you'll ever have in your life.
• 47:02
  SPEAKER_02: Kihei Maui.
• 47:04
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and Confederate Ryan continues to not give a single shit about our environment.
• 47:09
SPEAKER_04: He is racking up those private flights all over, just emitting, emitting fuels.
• 47:17
SPEAKER_00: Please stop with the Confederate.
• 47:21
  SPEAKER_00: It's not funny.
• 47:23
  SPEAKER_00: You certainly are.
• 47:24
SPEAKER_00: You certainly are in the middle of uh of the Pacific.
• 47:28
SPEAKER_00: So I mean, yeah, racking up the miles, sure.
• 47:30
  SPEAKER_00: Confederate, no.
• 47:32
  SPEAKER_04: Of course not.
• 47:32
SPEAKER_04: But now we I'm worried a little bit about the environment based on your U.S.
• 47:36
SPEAKER_04: city's performance where you're hopping from San Juan to Honolulu, and here where you're once again putting Hawaii on your board and likely flying there from the East Coast several times from Rosemary Beach, even.
• 47:46
SPEAKER_02: I got nothing to say.
• 47:48
SPEAKER_02: If we want to talk about airline miles, we could talk about a certain uh queen of yours, but we'll I'll digress.
• 47:54
  SPEAKER_02: Wow.
• 47:55
SPEAKER_03: Don't bring Mark one say Mark.
• 47:57
SPEAKER_03: That's mean to call Mark Monero queen.
• 48:02
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, that's funny.
• 48:03
  SPEAKER_04: It's to me, right?
• 48:04
SPEAKER_04: This is the seventh round.
• 48:06
  SPEAKER_02: Yep.
• 48:07
SPEAKER_04: So we all have two picks left.
• 48:09
  SPEAKER_04: Ryan has one.
• 48:10
  SPEAKER_02: Yep.
• 48:11
SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna I'm gonna go back to the Northeast well.
• 48:14
SPEAKER_04: I don't know if anybody else has been there, but I have to get a national park on the board.
• 48:18
SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna take Bar Harbor, Maine, home of Acadia National Park.
• 48:23
SPEAKER_04: It goes toe-to-toe with Portland for me.
• 48:26
SPEAKER_04: Acadia is the is my favorite national park that I've been to.
• 48:29
SPEAKER_04: I haven't been to all of them, admittedly, but it's my favorite, and I think I could hike there for months on end without getting bored.
• 48:36
SPEAKER_04: So glad to have that.
• 48:39
SPEAKER_04: And I'm definitely heavy in the northeast, but that again, in the summer and the warm weather months, that's my favorite place to be.
• 48:45
SPEAKER_04: So thrilled Bar Harbor has fallen to the seventh round.
• 48:48
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, Sean, if my wife was in this draft, she would have taken that pick as well.
• 48:52
SPEAKER_02: Uh, I know for a fact that it's her favorite national park that has camped out there before.
• 48:56
SPEAKER_02: It was one that we or we have not been to together, but she raves about it.
• 49:00
  SPEAKER_02: Um, I've heard it's absolutely stunning.
• 49:03
  SPEAKER_02: So good pick.
• 49:04
SPEAKER_04: And and Ryan, with that information, I will be asking for her vote in the poll.
• 49:08
SPEAKER_04: So and I and I know her, she's she's an honest woman.
• 49:13
  SPEAKER_04: She'll do what's right.
• 49:14
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, she'll go with her heart.
• 49:15
  SPEAKER_04: So yeah.
• 49:16
SPEAKER_04: So I hope to have her support as well.
• 49:19
SPEAKER_03: I've never been, Jeremy and I, on our uh long weekend.
• 49:23
SPEAKER_03: Maine did not make it up to Bar Harbor.
• 49:26
SPEAKER_03: Uh we had had enough enough of each other by that point.
• 49:29
SPEAKER_03: So Portland was the northernmost we got, but it looks nice.
• 49:33
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, sneaky long drive from Portland.
• 49:35
SPEAKER_04: You'd think Maine would be pretty close together there.
• 49:37
SPEAKER_04: It's like three and a half, four hours, I would say, from Portland.
• 49:40
SPEAKER_04: So you gotta keep you gotta keep going.
• 49:42
SPEAKER_04: We did a Maine vacation for the whole week, and we did half the time in Portland, half in Bar Harbor, so I was able to see both, but it's certainly a bit more than I thought in terms of the drive between the two.
• 49:52
SPEAKER_00: I was there when I was 18 months, and apparently I enjoyed it quite a bit.
• 49:57
SPEAKER_00: But I want to go back saying I wanted to do it, but time-wise and travel didn't work.
• 50:01
  SPEAKER_00: But good pick.
• 50:02
  SPEAKER_00: This late too.
• 50:03
  SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
• 50:04
SPEAKER_02: Would have been a would have been a more honest pick than Telluride.
• 50:08
  SPEAKER_02: Wow, another sharp fire.
• 50:10
  SPEAKER_03: Whoa.
• 50:14
  SPEAKER_03: No, no.
• 50:15
SPEAKER_03: Egg me on, Ronnie, because I'm gonna take another place I've never been.
• 50:18
SPEAKER_03: Uh and I need to get some Northeast action.
• 50:23
SPEAKER_03: I'm probably gonna go with Cape Cod.
• 50:26
SPEAKER_03: Uh if it's good enough for the Kennedys, JFK, ever heard of him, then it's good enough for me.
• 50:32
SPEAKER_03: Uh also, really good chips, too.
• 50:34
  SPEAKER_03: Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
• 50:38
  SPEAKER_04: Great chips.
• 50:39
  SPEAKER_04: I've never been, but yeah, uh obviously it's a it's a rich person's vacation destination.
• 50:44
SPEAKER_04: So I think you're checking the box of a northeast beach town with Cape Cod.
• 50:49
SPEAKER_04: So and and the chips.
• 50:50
  SPEAKER_03: I'd love to go.
• 50:51
SPEAKER_03: If I had the money, I would love to go.
• 50:53
SPEAKER_03: Um again, good enough for the Kennedys, good enough for me.
• 50:57
  SPEAKER_00: Elitis pick.
• 50:58
SPEAKER_00: Um I've been I've been to Cape Cod a few times.
• 51:02
SPEAKER_00: Well fleet, Orleans, Yarmouthport, and uh it's a cool place for sure, but definitely, definitely elitist.
• 51:07
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 51:09
  SPEAKER_00: Vacation by you, Jerry.
• 51:11
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, geez.
• 51:12
SPEAKER_04: I was there, I was I was there volunteering.
• 51:14
SPEAKER_04: I should have taken one of these over the sixth city in California.
• 51:18
SPEAKER_00: Uh no, I'll plant my flag in that state.
• 51:20
  SPEAKER_00: Thanks.
• 51:22
  SPEAKER_00: All right.
• 51:23
  SPEAKER_00: Hand up.
• 51:24
  SPEAKER_00: Hand up.
• 51:25
SPEAKER_00: I have never been to this place.
• 51:27
  SPEAKER_00: Honesty, accountability, that's what we're about.
• 51:31
SPEAKER_00: Um but with my seventh pick, I'll take Asheville, North Carolina.
• 51:36
SPEAKER_00: Growing city in the fall, too, with the weather.
• 51:39
  SPEAKER_00: I've heard it's great.
• 51:40
SPEAKER_00: Beer Capital and Kraft beer capital of the world, which is awesome.
• 51:44
SPEAKER_00: Um it just feels like a this is where I'll be in the fall.
• 51:47
SPEAKER_00: Just feels like a fall vibes, cute little town.
• 51:50
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 51:51
SPEAKER_00: I've never been, but I'd imagine it's nice in the fall.
• 51:54
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it reminds me of another town in North Carolina that has a pesky college football team, usually, that is renowned for how beautiful their campus is in the fall.
• 52:03
SPEAKER_04: I'm getting a similar vibe with Asheville.
• 52:05
SPEAKER_04: So also it's in the mountains.
• 52:07
SPEAKER_04: It's it's supposed to be pretty cool.
• 52:09
SPEAKER_04: And it's also a big, it's fastly growing city, too.
• 52:12
SPEAKER_04: I think Asheville's on a lot of hot up and coming lists.
• 52:15
SPEAKER_04: So yeah, so good picture.
• 52:18
  SPEAKER_04: A nice panic.
• 52:19
SPEAKER_04: And I love that you did the hand up.
• 52:21
  SPEAKER_04: I've never been.
• 52:22
  SPEAKER_00: There you go.
• 52:23
SPEAKER_00: Honestly, I'm gonna go to the great state of Alaska, I'll go Anchorage on the water.
• 52:29
SPEAKER_00: Um, I've heard from TikTok that it's a cool, another up-and-coming city.
• 52:34
SPEAKER_00: You are in Alaska, which is a little difficult for travel, and I am putting the global and warming, but um I've heard I've heard I've heard great things about Anchorage, Alaska, I've never been.
• 52:47
SPEAKER_00: Um and uh it seems it seems like a cool place, different kind of place, too.
• 52:52
  SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
• 52:54
  SPEAKER_00: Unbelievable stuff.
• 52:57
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 52:58
SPEAKER_00: The alternative was another city in Southern California, so I wanted to mix it up a little bit.
• 53:04
SPEAKER_04: I'm glad you did venture from that, Chair.
• 53:07
SPEAKER_04: Also, yeah, I've never been to Alaska, but would love to go one day.
• 53:11
SPEAKER_04: So maybe I could maybe I could pay you a visit, Chair.
• 53:14
  SPEAKER_03: There you go.
• 53:17
SPEAKER_03: Um, I'm gonna stay true to myself on this last pick.
• 53:20
  SPEAKER_03: Well, that's a first.
• 53:21
  SPEAKER_03: Why start now?
• 53:22
SPEAKER_03: That is a first place where I have been, and I thought it was really cool.
• 53:29
SPEAKER_03: We started the draft in Scottsdale, Arizona.
• 53:32
SPEAKER_03: We're gonna stay in the same state here, and we are going to go to the beautiful Red Rocks of Sedona.
• 53:40
SPEAKER_03: That is gonna be my last round pick.
• 53:42
SPEAKER_03: Um, I was there, loved it.
• 53:45
SPEAKER_03: Nice town, too, in addition to the beautiful landscape of the Red Rocks.
• 53:50
  SPEAKER_03: That's where we're gonna go.
• 53:51
SPEAKER_03: Sedona for my last pick.
• 53:52
SPEAKER_04: Great value in the last round with that one, Shane.
• 53:56
SPEAKER_03: Just had to say uh true to myself, you know.
• 53:59
SPEAKER_00: One of my favorite trips was when we have family that part.
• 54:03
SPEAKER_00: It was our uh our southwest trip to like New Mexico, Arizona, and Sedona Flagstaff.
• 54:09
  SPEAKER_00: That was on there.
• 54:10
  SPEAKER_00: It's awesome out there.
• 54:11
SPEAKER_04: Boy, I I could take I I could break bad and take my first place that I haven't been to and win the draft going away, in my opinion.
• 54:20
SPEAKER_04: I I could win it going away.
• 54:22
SPEAKER_04: Like I think there's a couple flam dunks that would just oh my god, look at his board type picks.
• 54:28
  SPEAKER_04: But Ryan, I won't do it.
• 54:33
SPEAKER_05: Men of honor, men of honor.
• 54:35
  SPEAKER_04: Two places I've been.
• 54:38
SPEAKER_04: And I will go, oh god, it's so tempting to break bad.
• 54:43
  SPEAKER_04: I'll say that.
• 54:44
SPEAKER_04: I really want to just take one for the graphic here and pull you guys out.
• 54:49
  SPEAKER_04: But I won't.
• 54:51
SPEAKER_04: I will take Pinehurst, North Carolina.
• 54:54
SPEAKER_04: I want just a beautiful golf resort.
• 54:57
  SPEAKER_04: That's all I'm getting here.
• 54:59
SPEAKER_04: Not much, it's a quaint little town, not much other than world-class golf.
• 55:04
SPEAKER_04: Ten courses, not just one.
• 55:06
SPEAKER_04: So I'll take the cradle, I'll take Pinehurst numbers one through ten.
• 55:10
SPEAKER_04: If I'm ever in need of a trip just to get the golf fix in, Pinehurst will be my destination.
• 55:18
  SPEAKER_02: I like the pick.
• 55:19
SPEAKER_02: It's authentic to you, too.
• 55:21
  SPEAKER_02: You know, you're a golf guy.
• 55:22
SPEAKER_02: Now you get a place in a golf city instead of being a poser and picking some place you've never been.
• 55:27
SPEAKER_02: I appreciate the honesty and integrity.
• 55:29
  SPEAKER_04: Thank you.
• 55:29
SPEAKER_04: Okay, I hope the listeners do as well.
• 55:31
SPEAKER_04: I hope the listeners do as well.
• 55:32
SPEAKER_00: Oh, I'm sure they will.
• 55:38
SPEAKER_04: We encourage you all to turn out and vote.
• 55:40
  SPEAKER_04: Ryan, bring us home.
• 55:42
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna bring us home, and I'm gonna continue the theme of being true to myself, being authentic, being a man of integrity, and picking a place that means Puebla Puerto Rico much to me.
• 55:52
  SPEAKER_02: Puebla.
• 55:53
SPEAKER_02: No, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not going Puerto Rico.
• 55:56
SPEAKER_02: Uh this is a place though that means a lot to me, to my family.
• 56:00
  SPEAKER_00: In Barcelona.
• 56:03
  SPEAKER_02: Wilton.
• 56:04
  SPEAKER_02: Wilton, Connecticut.
• 56:07
  SPEAKER_02: And now.
• 56:08
SPEAKER_02: No, I could have I could have gone that way, but I'm not going to.
• 56:12
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 56:12
SPEAKER_02: I I'm gonna go, I'm gonna take the place where a member of my my household is still employed, and that is Waco, Texas.
• 56:19
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna take that in the in the seven hole.
• 56:22
SPEAKER_02: I think Waco, I've and I said this from like the day that I've lived in Waco for over four years of my life.
• 56:28
SPEAKER_02: It's the perfect size for a city where you're in the 150,000 person range, you're not dealing with big big city traffic, you're not dealing with nightmare parking issues, but you can get everything you need in Waco.
• 56:38
SPEAKER_02: You're an hour and a half drive to Dallas, hour and a half drive to Austin.
• 56:42
SPEAKER_02: Uh, awesome food scene, emerging brewery scene.
• 56:46
SPEAKER_02: You get elite-level college athletics.
• 56:48
SPEAKER_02: You got honestly, the Brazos River running through Waco, which is the the it's it's a beautiful river that is uh a highlight of the city, and uh it's a place that means a lot to me.
• 57:00
SPEAKER_02: So, Shane, I see you laughing over there.
• 57:02
SPEAKER_02: Uh I would love for to hear more about your trip to Tellura and all these other places you've been.
• 57:06
SPEAKER_02: Jared, uh sorry I didn't pick La Jolla in the last round.
• 57:10
SPEAKER_02: Um but you know, I'm just gonna continue the theme.
• 57:12
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna pick Waco, Texas.
• 57:14
  SPEAKER_02: I think it's a great city, and I'll stand by that.
• 57:17
SPEAKER_04: Ryan, can I chime in?
• 57:18
SPEAKER_04: I visited you in Waco.
• 57:19
SPEAKER_04: I believe these two jokers might have as well.
• 57:21
  SPEAKER_04: I know Shane did.
• 57:22
SPEAKER_04: Uh I had one of the best tacos of my life there.
• 57:26
  SPEAKER_04: So I'd like to.
• 57:26
  SPEAKER_02: Unbelievable Mexican food.
• 57:28
  SPEAKER_02: Great food.
• 57:29
  SPEAKER_02: Great food.
• 57:29
  SPEAKER_04: That's my first shout-out.
• 57:30
SPEAKER_04: And my second shout-out would be I don't know how you spoke that long about Waco without mentioning Chip and Joanna.
• 57:35
SPEAKER_04: I think those two should be run.
• 57:37
  SPEAKER_02: That's what I'm saying.
• 57:38
SPEAKER_04: Well, I think they should have came earlier with some point.
• 57:40
  SPEAKER_02: Sure, sure.
• 57:42
  SPEAKER_04: Magnolia everywhere.
• 57:43
SPEAKER_04: And in it's it's gonna be Magnolia Bears soon.
• 57:45
SPEAKER_04: It's gonna be the Magnolia Bears.
• 57:48
  SPEAKER_04: But uh NIS.
• 57:52
SPEAKER_04: Ryan, I appreciate your candor and your ability to draft only places you've been in both of these.
• 57:58
  SPEAKER_04: So good job.
• 58:00
  SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
• 58:02
SPEAKER_00: I knew Ryan was gonna take Waco in the strap.
• 58:05
  SPEAKER_00: I just knew it.
• 58:06
SPEAKER_00: For me, no thanks, but for others, you know, that's fine.
• 58:11
SPEAKER_02: I'm sorry, I'm just not I'm not as loaded as you to own these coastal cities.
• 58:14
SPEAKER_02: You know, some of us gotta live in the middle of America.
• 58:16
SPEAKER_00: Remember, Ryan, money's not a thing in this.
• 58:20
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 58:22
  SPEAKER_04: Jeremy Cod.
• 58:24
SPEAKER_04: Where uh where do we have for some honorable mentions?
• 58:28
SPEAKER_04: Because I'm gonna be honest, my my honorable mentions list was long.
• 58:31
  SPEAKER_04: I have I'll just rattle off a few.
• 58:33
SPEAKER_04: The one that I think would have won me the draft was Bozeman, Montana.
• 58:38
SPEAKER_04: All of those, all of those Yellowstone people that are fans of fans of that.
• 58:43
SPEAKER_04: I've never been, but I think that would have been a I would have played on the graphic, I think.
• 58:47
SPEAKER_04: So I pivoted away from that.
• 58:49
SPEAKER_04: And then the other one that I was debating between was Bandon, Oregon, which is actually home to Bandon Dunes, which is similar to Pinehurst in about 10 different golf courses, and that one actually looked way cooler, but I've never been.
• 59:01
  SPEAKER_04: So didn't do that.
• 59:02
  SPEAKER_04: Salt Lake City, Utah.
• 59:04
SPEAKER_04: Never been, but it seems really cool.
• 59:06
SPEAKER_04: Thought that would have been a really good one.
• 59:07
  SPEAKER_00: Oh wow, that's under 300.
• 59:09
  unknown: Yeah.
• 59:10
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think so.
• 59:11
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 59:11
SPEAKER_00: No one, no one wants to live there.
• 59:13
  SPEAKER_00: Wow.
• 59:14
SPEAKER_04: A couple of places I have been that I really enjoyed Grand Rapids, Michigan.
• 59:20
SPEAKER_04: Um Laramie, Wyoming, Jeremy, how about Laramie?
• 59:28
SPEAKER_04: And I had Boulder, Colorado, too.
• 59:30
SPEAKER_04: I thought Boulder was something that should have probably got picked.
• 59:33
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, probably.
• 59:34
  SPEAKER_03: I'm shot, I'm shy to Boulder.
• 59:36
SPEAKER_03: I had Boulder on my list.
• 59:38
SPEAKER_03: Um I had Pebble Beach, California.
• 59:41
  SPEAKER_03: Uh have been there.
• 59:42
SPEAKER_03: Uh did anyone take St.
• 59:45
  SPEAKER_03: Petersburg, Florida?
• 59:48
  unknown: Yes.
• 59:49
  SPEAKER_03: Someone took Sean.
• 59:50
  SPEAKER_04: No, I took St.
• 59:50
  SPEAKER_04: Augustine.
• 59:51
SPEAKER_00: Well, Ryan Brian took Clearwater.
• 59:54
  SPEAKER_04: Wait, which one?
• 59:54
SPEAKER_04: I might have taken the wrong one.
• 59:57
SPEAKER_04: Which one is uh which one is the one St.
• 1:00:00
SPEAKER_03: Petersburg is like right next to Clearwater, I think.
• 1:00:02
  unknown: Yeah.
• 1:00:03
SPEAKER_04: Okay, yeah, no, I took the one I wanted, but I mentioned the fun fact that worked up, I think, was wrong.
• 1:00:09
  SPEAKER_03: Hmm.
• 1:00:10
  SPEAKER_03: And uh Aspen, Colorado?
• 1:00:14
  SPEAKER_03: Okay, good.
• 1:00:14
  SPEAKER_03: Good, good, good.
• 1:00:15
SPEAKER_03: Yep, Aspen, that's very honorable.
• 1:00:18
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yep.
• 1:00:19
SPEAKER_02: I really thought about taking uh New Haven, Connecticut, just so I could have access to the best pizza in the country at any point.
• 1:00:25
SPEAKER_00: That's not the worst uh idea.
• 1:00:28
  SPEAKER_00: Honestly.
• 1:00:28
  SPEAKER_00: That's a bad idea.
• 1:00:30
SPEAKER_00: Tell you what, that's kind of why you took Waco.
• 1:00:34
SPEAKER_00: Waco, yeah, could have made it.
• 1:00:36
  SPEAKER_00: Waco.
• 1:00:39
SPEAKER_00: I had um I had Bozeman too.
• 1:00:43
SPEAKER_00: Um, I didn't know like I didn't if I was able to represent Yellowstone with that, but I didn't know how to balance that.
• 1:00:49
SPEAKER_00: I also had Solana Beach, California, Southern Cal.
• 1:00:53
  SPEAKER_00: Ever heard of it?
• 1:00:54
SPEAKER_00: I also had Ann Arbor, Michigan.
• 1:00:56
SPEAKER_00: I heard uh I heard Ann Arbor's pretty cool.
• 1:00:58
SPEAKER_04: Um I had Santa Barbara, California too.
• 1:01:01
SPEAKER_04: That's just a place I was briefly, but that was about it.
• 1:01:05
SPEAKER_04: I think Key West play for sure.
• 1:01:08
SPEAKER_04: That probably should have gotten a lot of fun.
• 1:01:11
  SPEAKER_02: Thought about Key West.
• 1:01:13
  SPEAKER_02: Yep.
• 1:01:15
SPEAKER_04: But yeah, I think uh I think we pretty much nailed it.
• 1:01:19
SPEAKER_04: Between the four of us, we've been to a lot of these places, or at least one of us has.
• 1:01:25
SPEAKER_04: So we have some decent representation throughout the United States.
• 1:01:29
SPEAKER_04: Ryan, if you're ready, fire away.
• 1:01:32
  SPEAKER_02: I do, I have them up.
• 1:01:33
SPEAKER_02: So I got Richmond, Virginia as my kind of home base, Clearwater, Florida, Providence, Rhode Island, Knoxville, Tennessee, Hot Springs, Arkansas, Rosemary Beach, Florida, Hihi, Hawaii, and Maui, and Waco, Texas.
• 1:01:50
SPEAKER_02: All over the board, no California.
• 1:01:52
SPEAKER_04: Jared took all of them, but other than that, I I took Charleston, South Carolina, Newport, Rhode Island, Portland, Maine, Fort Collins, Colorado, Bar Harbor, Maine, St.
• 1:02:07
SPEAKER_04: Augustine, Florida, and Pinehurst, North Carolina.
• 1:02:10
SPEAKER_04: Furthest west I get to is Port Collins, Colorado.
• 1:02:13
SPEAKER_04: So we we didn't venture that far in that direction, but I don't need to.
• 1:02:19
  SPEAKER_03: Jeremy's the governor.
• 1:02:20
SPEAKER_03: Uh I took Scottsdale, Arizona, Savannah, Georgia.
• 1:02:25
SPEAKER_03: I didn't mention this at the time, but I've never been there either.
• 1:02:27
SPEAKER_03: But my parents have, so.
• 1:02:29
  SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
• 1:02:30
SPEAKER_03: My parents have been to Seattle then.
• 1:02:34
SPEAKER_03: I I took Monterey, California, Telluride, Colorado, Malibu.
• 1:02:40
SPEAKER_03: Uh, then I think we hopped over to Jupiter, then we took Cape Cod, then we went uh down to Sedona, Arizona.
• 1:02:50
SPEAKER_04: So it's gonna have a strong voter turnout, but it's a complete sham.
• 1:02:54
  SPEAKER_03: He just make believe.
• 1:02:55
  SPEAKER_03: He's hasn't been around.
• 1:02:57
SPEAKER_03: After Sean stole the vote uh for the big cities draft, I had to I this is just what a competitor does.
• 1:03:03
  SPEAKER_03: It's just what a competitor does.
• 1:03:04
SPEAKER_04: You admitted your big cities draft was worse than mine.
• 1:03:06
SPEAKER_04: You said you preferred Tampa to Jacksonville.
• 1:03:08
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you did.
• 1:03:09
  SPEAKER_03: And then one pick.
• 1:03:12
SPEAKER_04: You said you prefer Scottsdale to Phoenix.
• 1:03:13
SPEAKER_04: No, you Phoenix was the downtown picks I've ever seen.
• 1:03:17
SPEAKER_04: Um, and also you took uh Colorado Springs over Denver.
• 1:03:21
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I think that's wrong too.
• 1:03:23
SPEAKER_04: So I I think it was I think I I think I accurately won that vote as hey, we live in a democracy.
• 1:03:31
SPEAKER_04: So I I I totally turned out Jeremy was left off the graph.
• 1:03:37
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, stole the vote chain.
• 1:03:38
SPEAKER_00: You were on the ballot.
• 1:03:40
SPEAKER_00: Um, all right, my age Carlsbad, California, West Palm Beach, Florida, Napa, California, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Saratoga Springs, New York, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Asheville, North Carolina, and Anchorage, Alaska.
• 1:03:58
SPEAKER_00: I don't have as many Callies uh talents as I thought.
• 1:04:03
  SPEAKER_04: No, you don't.
• 1:04:04
SPEAKER_04: Hearing it back, it was a little better.
• 1:04:06
SPEAKER_04: I can't believe you guys, the cousins, broke bad and started taking places they've never been.
• 1:04:10
  SPEAKER_04: It's disappointing.
• 1:04:12
  SPEAKER_03: Someone's gotta do it.
• 1:04:13
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 1:04:14
  SPEAKER_00: Listen, that's brutal.
• 1:04:15
SPEAKER_00: It's only two for me.
• 1:04:16
  SPEAKER_00: Oh, seven for Shane.
• 1:04:18
  SPEAKER_00: No, yeah, Shane.
• 1:04:19
SPEAKER_03: I don't know if Shane's been doing half as well, though.
• 1:04:21
SPEAKER_03: No, it's three for me.
• 1:04:23
  unknown: Three.
• 1:04:23
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's no four.
• 1:04:25
  SPEAKER_03: Four.
• 1:04:26
SPEAKER_03: It's only half, it's only half my board.
• 1:04:28
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, mine were also my last two picks, too.
• 1:04:31
SPEAKER_04: So Shane was Savannah in the second round and pretended like he was the mayor.
• 1:04:38
  SPEAKER_04: That's great.
• 1:04:40
SPEAKER_04: That's honorable mentioned says, oh, by the way, I was never there either.
• 1:04:44
  SPEAKER_04: It's crazy.
• 1:04:46
SPEAKER_04: It's called doing your research.
• 1:04:47
SPEAKER_04: I can't believe Shane and Jeremy have lied to us like that.
• 1:04:50
SPEAKER_04: Jeremy told us uh boldly that he was to Seattle.
• 1:04:54
  SPEAKER_04: He quoted Steve officially.
• 1:04:56
SPEAKER_00: Sean, my parents have been to Seattle.
• 1:05:00
  SPEAKER_00: That's right, it's fine.
• 1:05:02
SPEAKER_04: All right, boys, thank you all for joining me.
• 1:05:05
SPEAKER_04: As usual, for the drafts, we will we'll post some clips.
• 1:05:08
SPEAKER_04: We'll put we'll post the episode first, then we'll post some clips, then we will a week or so later post the poll.
• 1:05:14
SPEAKER_04: Hey, if you want to fix the results of these things, go vote.
• 1:05:17
  SPEAKER_04: Go vote.
• 1:05:18
SPEAKER_04: Stay true to yourself, vote for what you think is right, what you think is best.
• 1:05:22
SPEAKER_04: Don't listen to the pander bears that are the cousins.
• 1:05:27
SPEAKER_04: But I guarantee I'll have more votes than Ryan.
• 1:05:30
  SPEAKER_02: Guarantee.
• 1:05:30
SPEAKER_02: Well, right, Ryan, I will take more home runs than guys that didn't do steroids, too.
• 1:05:37
  unknown: I took Waco too.
• 1:05:40
  SPEAKER_02: Oh, Jesus.
• 1:05:42
SPEAKER_04: Just did by for Waco, unfortunate, unfortunate.
• 1:05:47
SPEAKER_04: Um, thank you all for tuning in.
• 1:05:49
SPEAKER_04: Until next time, take care.
